Hi Guys,

I'm from the States, new to the scene here in Morocco. Living in Marrakech at the moment, with a bit of a problem. I speak neither Arabic nor French fluently, and I'm trying to find a provider who speaks even a little bit of English. Any advice? I went to a cafe in Gueliz, Boule de Neige. I was surprised to see ladies during the day. I got the attention of one nice little hottie and motioned for her to come join me at my table. After some the brief formalities, I told my new friend Hanane in my best Arabic (which sucks) that I wanted to meet up with her in two days. Keep in mind, I was originally there just to grab a cup of coffee. She said no problem and gave me her phone number.

I called her two days later. And Houston, we had a problem. As bad as my Arabic is in person, it's much worse on the phone. I couldn't understand a word she was saying. She must have gotten frustrated with hearing me say "mafahimtsh" about 10 times, so she said she would be at the cafe at 3 o'clock.

I showed up 3, ordered a cup of coffee and waited. 3: 15 came and went. 3: 30 came and went. 3: 45 came and went. Finally she comes in at 4: 00pm. But instead of coming over to my table, she goes to a table where some other girls are. I motioned for to come over, and she gives me a "wait a minute" signal. When I return from the restroom, guess what? She's gone. I'm thinking maybe she went to the restroom, so I waited another 5 minutes and finally gave up (which I shoulda done a lot earlier). Oh well, we live and learn.

So as you can see, I could use some help. Does anybody know of a way to jump into the scene with English only? My Arabic is good enough to order milk, cheese, bread, eggs, etc. But when it comes to trying to negotiate services and prices. Fuhgetaboutit. I hope somebody can give me a hand.

Also, I will be passing through Tangier next month on my way to Spain for a quick daytrip. I'd love some advice on the Tangier scene. If somebody can recommend a provider up there that would be great. Oh, and my Spanish is MUCH better than my Arabic. I'll probably check into a hotel for one night there.

Sorry to hear you're finding it hard. But why on earth go there when you don't speak the language? Simple: learn French. It's not difficult.

Your language difficulties are compounded by "Moroccan time". Eveything happens "inshalla", when god wants it. So making an appointment is only a vague indication of what may or may not happen.

You're in the right venue. So next time, instead of sorting out a vague arrangement with someone whose language you've failed to learn, take the opportunity and give her a good seeing to there and then! I trust you've rented a private apartment?

...for the advice. Next time I will certainly be prepared to handle my business without delay next time. I am staying in a private apartment, so location isn't my biggest issue. Although, my building has 24/7 security guards who aren't the friendliest chaps on earth. So ideally, I'd also like to find a dicreet hotel that can accomodate my extra-cirricular activities without attracting too much suspicion. But if I must, then my apartment will do just fine.

I came here as a foreign language teacher to answer your question about why I'm here. So far, I love the people, the food, and the weather. I'm just finding it difficult breaking into the scene after being in the States, where it's so damn easy. Then again, would it be so damn easy there if I didn't speak English? Of course not.
So I'm off to learn more Arabic and French :)

Discovering Morocco & Marrakech has given me a new window on life. When the plane dropped out of the light cloud base and I saw what looked like a burned out landscape below (I'd just taken off from a snowbound London Gatwick 3 1/2 hours previously), I knew I was in for something more than a bit different. Albeit just for one week. I'd been seduced by BA's mid January cheap flights offer.

OK. I get out of my Taxi Petit at 'the big square'. Jmaa el Fna. And walk maybe 20 metres before I'm getting Ahmed's sales pitch to find me a restaurant + hotel. Both turned out to be really OK. The hotel is a Riad at 60 Dirhams. At another nearby hotel (Tazi) I get to meet up with Ahmed's buddy. Khalid who sources the night club scene. These are located in the Nouvelle Marrakech (Gueliz) district and action kicks off at around midnight. We went to a couple of these basement dives the first night and another two the following night. The second one on the first night had a fantastic live band. All the clubbers were local. I was a bit like a spot of white paint on an ochre wall! The band had a singer with an Italian style suit silk shirt & tie and slick back haircut backed by synthesisers, drums/percussion, electric violin and bass. The music was a mix of Arabic and western dsco and brilliant.

Proceedings really opened up when 4 middle aged but attractive hostesses in matching white 'polka dot' dresses circulated and distributed lottery tickets. As well as acting as 'go betweens' with several attractive teenage/early 20's girls! We had brought with us a bottle of J & be and the inevitable 'spliff'. Forget about language differences! The atmosphere carried things along really great. We ended up staying with the girls in Khalid's flat/apartment located in one of the new projects on the outskirts of Marrakesh, not far from the airport, but not noisy as away from the flight path. This area is really just one vast building site and very discreet. The Riad was not a venue option to take Razir. The lust was building up quite nicely too! Razir was her name as she whispered in my ear.

Next day things went from temporal to spiritual at the Majorelle Jardin also, located in Gueliz, this is unmissable and has been bought and now maintained spendidly, by Yves St Laurent. Its not big but packs a lot in a tight space. Very much like Razir! Where else could you get all this within about 1/2 kilometre? I'm looking to make a return trip to Morocco toute suite! If anybody out there has contacts in the Moroccan construction and property scene, please post up.

In my experience all hotels are GF unfriendly. You can sometimes get a happy ending to a massage in a health spa attached to hotel, but no hotel - big or small - is going to allow you to take girls in.

You either need to plan in advance and rent an apartment (the concierge in most apartment blocks knows that you will tip him well and consequently will turn a blind eye to your activities) or you need to let the girl find a place once you've hooked up with her - but this will cost you!

Clearly the apartment in a modern part of town is the preferred option, as you can make it your base. Always avoid the medina/traditional areas - the local religious types are watching carefully (see my post below).

There are a lot of similarities in that in both countries the girls are incredibly hot, sweet and romantic.

When that closes. If you have not picked up a local amateur. You can continue on until the early hours at Caesars. A dance music Club below the Hotel Sheraton just around the corner! It is not LES FLEURS but Snack LES FLEUVES (left side) in front of the CTM bus station. Take the street called Léon l'africain behind hôtel Sheraton and you will see it at the end of this street.

I was also in this Centre Albane but I do not recommend. There is much better places in CASA.

Since I'll be with my wife it's always easier and less noticeable to slip off for a massage while she's shopping but it's unlikely that a cab driver or any local in an Islamic country, for that matter, will direct me to the hot spots. Hotel spas seem likely but something concrete to begin with would be great. Do private massage establishments exist in Marrakech? Recently went to Casa, had a good time. Checked this thread first in order put a plan together for a fun weekend. I can confirm the massage place across the street from the CTM station. It's behind a "the salon" with a pool table. Next to the salon is a driveway leading to an underground parking lot. Walk through the green gate to the right of the driveway and you will find a door with a doorman inside. He will ask you where you're going. Just tell him you're want a massage and he'll send you upstairs. And the rest of it works like a your average Chinese massage parlor anywhere in the world.

Anyway, I arrived on Friday eveing and decided to go to Mickey the's to look for any action. The place was packed to the door with families that had what seemed like a thousand children. I ate quickly and went for coffee around the corner at Eden Ice, which is in Place du 16 Novembre. I went upstairs and was surprised at the amount of people, many of them nice looking young ladies. I asked the sexy young lady next to me for help locating something on a map. She was more than happy to help me. Two hours later we were walking along the beach together, getting to know each other. Her mother was expecting her home so she couldn't stay out past 11 the first night. Also: In the cab on the way to the train station, we passed a restaurant named "Mat'am Zhour. " I am improvising, as the lettering was only in Arabic. My new friend told me this is where men go "shopping" for girls. This place is a very short walk from Mickey the's on Ave des FAR. Maybe somebody can check it out and give us a report on it?

Ok, this post is entirely too long, but I wanted to give everybody a Casa update. A great time can be had without wasting too much money on the nightclub chicks and their shenanigans. I hope all of this is helpful for somebody. Happt hunting!

Sorry guys, on Friday I went to Mickey D's (McDonalds), not Mickey the's.

One more thing. I went to some hotels that refused to rent me two rooms. I told them I needed two rooms and they gave me the third degree. Who is it for? Why? Male or female? From where? Moroccan or from elsewhere?

And no matter what my responses were, they refused and told me to try another hotel. I ended up at the Transatlantique near the city center. It's listed as a 4 star, but it's not quite that nice. I negotiated the prices down on the rooms because the man at reception new I was only going to use one room.

If you go to this hotel ask to look at more than one room before renting. Some rooms are much larger, cleaner, and nicer than others.

I thought it could be maybe useful for the English speakers to have a translation of my reports. Please find below the most important things, in my opinion, you should know about Morocco:

Just back from Marrakech because the Ramadan is starting today and it's a bit more complicate with girls during this time!

I'd like to give you some advises in this report, I go to Marrakech since 1992, a couple of times/year, I play golf and a lot of other nice things.

I am French and of course it's, I would say, mandatory, if you plan to spend some holidays in this nice country, to SPEAK some FRENCH!

Very, very few girls speak English, in Marrakech (I do not know the situation in Tanger or Rabat) but if you are lucky you can maybe meet a student from the University looking for some tips to buy the latest Ericsson handy, but once more you should be very lucky!

First of all regarding accommodation, avoid hotels because, depending the rate of the hotel, you will have to pay for a separate room for your girl (some hotels do not accept girls, especially if the location "Marrakech" is written on her identity card) and sometimes waiting your keys when some families are around you it's a bit annoying, I used to feel sometimes very uncomfortable!

Prefer to rent a flat, some good links to rent are: www.homelidays.com and www.abritel.fr, or http://www.locations-france.com/search.lasso?-token.lang=fr&lien=MA. A nice apartment in Guéliz (the modern part of the town) is around 60 to 80 Euros a day for a double bedroom and air conditioned. Avoid the medina and its riads because during the evening it's dangerous to walk with a girl, the police can stop you and ask for tips ($$!)

My tip: avoid to rent a flat from Moroccan local people (you can check the contact name on the web site and you should be able to make the difference between an Arabic name and an European one). Prefer owner like French, Belgian,…you would avoid bad surprise, believe me!

Girls:

You will find plenty of nice girls in Marrakech. Some people reported in this Forum that police is stricter with girls than before, I mean the beginning of 2007. It's true but if you respect some rules it should be OK for you (maybe not for your girlfriend !!)

Rules:

• Be discrete because police is everywhere and will look at you if you take your date hand's in your hand, avoid such kind of behaviour (day/night)!

• Be careful when you go out of the disco, go alone, not with your new girlfriend, make your deal inside (place where you live,…way to find out your apartment)

• Never take your date in your taxi (night)! She has to take another one (fare: 100 DHR max. during the night) !!

• Tips your apartment's doorman when you arrive (> 50 DHR) and buy sometimes cigarettes

• Avoid going in your apartment with a lot of girls, better give your address and wait in your flat

• Avoid noise in your apartment with your girl(s), your neighbour could be Moroccan and it could be the beginning of your problems!!

• Best tip: Rent a car ( around 300 DHR a day) and avoid taxis

Some place to start enjoying in the afternoon (>14:00)

• Café "Boule de Neige", in front of the café Atlas in Guéliz

• The 3 cafés located just on the side (main road) of The Palais des Congrès (Hermitage area)

• "Mc Donald" in front of the main post office (not the one on Casablanca's road!)

Before disco (>22:00)

• Bar at the Hotel Royal Mirage, located on the airport road or at the end of l'Avenue de France.

• Bar at the resto Le Comptoir (Hivernage area)

• Jazz at Le Monte Cristo, groundfloor, (Guéliz)

• Have a look in Cabaret "Le Charleston", near café Atlas, downstairs, just to see a typical local!

Disco (>1:30)

• Le Diamant Noir on the Mohammed's VI avenue, near hotel Le Marrakech  nice Jung girls, sometimes shy, good music, my best choice!

• Le Paradise, (Kempinski's disco, old name: Hotel Royal Mansur)  Nice girls, more expensive, sometimes strange men and disgusting atmosphere, especially when congres are taking place!

• Cabaret "Alcazar" from hotel Atlas Asni on Avenue de France  local people, very nice atmosphere after 4:00, local girls, you can make good negotiation

• Le Monte Cristo (1st floor), Guéliz, nice girls, expensive and sometimes promising much more than they do really once in the room (the professionalism is missing)

• Le Théatro, near the Casino (Hivernage area)  a bit noisy, especially if you do not understand French  but sometimes lots of nice girls

Gift, how much?? (rate: 100 Euros = 1000 DHR)

Difficult to say because it is sometimes not only a question of money with Moroccan girls, the way you go with her could make some differences. In average do not tip more than 1200 DHR for the night! The average monthly salary is around 2000 DHR. I used to see strange Italian people in The Paradise who used to give to some girls 3000 DHR for a couple of hours, crazy!!
During the day, 500 DHR is a good price to start activities

Some words about Casablanca

Casa is also a good city to find out nice girls, they are plenty of discos in the biggest hotels of the city. Towards the see, La Corniche is also a nice area to find cabarets and discos with plenty of girls.

Police is cooler than Marrakech, I never had problem with the police in this city.
Use the same links to find out a flat to rent.

In Agadir just about anywhere. I havent been for about a year but last time I was there you could get girls on the beach and nearly all the clubs. Some real stunners too. I can't recall the names of all the clubs but there was an irish bar that was a good place to start the night. Moroccan girls are amongst the friendliest and sexiest I have met. 1. One of the previous posts mentioned: that it is a good idea to have a Car. I have read and heard many times that private Cars never get stopped. (Can anyone verify that? ) If that is really the case, then for Europeans it would make sense to drive to Morocco with their own Car. You wouldn't have to go thru the hassle of finding & Renting an appropriate and probably bloody expensive Appartment, you could just lay the Chicks on the Backseat of your hopefully spacious Car. And you have the additional benefit of being much more Mobile, and you can move around easier and faster.

2. Some of the prices quoted here, are really absolutely rediculous. To spend 100-200 € on some chick is IMHO a really stupid thing to do. If you learn some of the language, and do your homework I think it can even be had for free, or bring just some small Gifts. The kind of stuff Girls like and need. I think that in Morocco 1 Dirham is like 1 Euro is in Europe, its a Purchasing Power issue. If you are paying in Dollars or Euros as much as you would pay in Europe, then I think YOU are making a mistake. If you give a chick between 150 and 250 (max 300) Dirham she is doing damm good for herself. Frankly I could care less if she spends the whole night, I probably will only want her for one Hour maybe two Hours, so there is no way I would pay her for a whole night. If she dosen't like that, tuff. I would just walk away. There are plenty of other Girls. Of course everything will always depend on where you shop, in the Intercontinental Hotel Bar you will pay Business Class prices, but this is the same all over the World.

i have found some info on the internet, so hear it is

tangier. when charm fades

falling in love with tangier is not all that easy. while moroccan tourist police in recent years have cracked down on unpleasant guiding, nothing has changed in tangier, and the strong ties between the police, local authorities and the local mafia makes tangier a difficult port for travellers with no earlier morocco experience. fortunately, tangier is still less dangerous than the south of spain, which is only an hour of ferry ride away.

the anarchy of tangier has many faces: when the sun sets the city is turned into a city which can be unsafe, quite different from the rest of morocco. and handicrafts in tangier are far more expensive than elsewhere in morocco, where things to a certain extent is under official control.

the town beach is profoundly filthy, while other main beaches in morocco has an administration which cleans the sand on a regular basis. kids beg for money on every corner, and "official" guides pester you everywhere.

but if you are of the relaxed type, or if you have already been around morocco for a bit, tangier is definately worth a visit. there is a lot to see around here, the city is lively, and if you jump into a taxi clean and beautiful beaches are 10 minutes away. and tangier still carries the aura of being a a celebrities' magnet and of once having been under international administration.

and do not forget: tangier is the real model for the famous american film "casablanca" with humphrey bogart and ingrid bergman.

agadir is very different from any other city in morocco. built next to a tragedy – the earthquake of 1961 that killed 15,000 – it exhibits a totally different city culture and architecture from the rest of the country.

agadir was, and continued to be a favourite tourist destination. so it is no wonder that it was the needs of tourists which more than any other thing made the street wide and straight, houses low and minimalistic and which placed hotels between the city and the beach.

some people hate agadir because there is very little that happens automatically here, while others find it all very attractive. one thing is definatly true: for every year that pass, streets become more and more lively, and more and more moroccan elements move in where minimalist white houses before have dominated.

casablanca. time did go by

if the hollywood image of 'casablanca' is important to you, prepare for a shock from casablanca. the city is further away from oriental romanticism than any other in morocco, and casablanca is a modern city — and beautiful in its own respect.

the centre of casablanca is fairly impressive. it's brand modern, with big, lively boulevards, high, white, well-kept buildings. and it's clean and efficient. people visiting casablanca as their first city, could easily end up hating this place: there are few things here confirming the newcomers conception on the orient. but for people having visited other parts of morocco first, casablanca is good! the city is modern in a moroccan way, and an excellent example of moroccans capacity of taking charge of the future of their country.

but as soon as you step out of the impressive centre of town, dark clouds cover the realities of people here. extreme poverty and prostitution only to be matched by tangier <tangier.htm> is what you'll find without even looking for it. no other place in the country displays bigger differences between the haves and the have-nots.

if anything in casablanca should fit the casablanca of bergman and bogart, it should be the old city. it's small, consisting mainly of smaller houses, which all seem to be from this century, and the alleyways dominating in other old cities, are rarely found here. there is a good market here, but look around before you buy, shop keepers here know their skills. some thousand people live here, and in one or two spots, true beauty occurs.

extreme poverty and prostitution, sounds like a good deal for a tener, and plenty of suply

marrakech. the other morocco

marrakech is not only a fantastic city, it is also a symbol of the morocco that once was, and which still survives here. the streets of the old and pink city have been too narrow to allow the introduction of cars, and tourists searching for the "real" morocco have turned the medieval structures of marrakech into good business.

the hordes of tourists that come here all through the year have still not managed to change its character. actually their high number contribute in a postive way to preserve one of the greatest monuments of the morocco that once was. and the people of marrakech love their city even more, and moroccans all over the country would not let down an opportunity of visiting it.

the most worthwhile tourist traps are collected inside a rather small zone, starting in the north with the suuqs <marrakech08.htm>, continuing through the town square of jemaa l-fna <marrakech01.htm> with its crowd of storytellers, musicians and the koutoubia mosque <marrakech15.htm> which is visible from practically anywhere in marrakech.

going beyond this, the menara gardens <marrakech14.htm>- by young marrakechians considered as the most romantic place in town- is high up on the list. but don't forget to visit one of the many examples of sights left by the many europeans and americans who fell so much in love with marrakech that they erected their palaces and gardens <marrakech16.htm> here.

rabat. capital in blue and white

rabat opens up only slowly to you. at the first day of your first arrival you will discover that there is another atmosphere here, and compared to other moroccan cities people are a bit shy and don't start talking to you easily. somehow, they don't care about you.

walking your lonely walks around town, the many gems of a capital of a magic country reveals themselves to you. and it isn't always the things that are first seen that will keep your eyes entertained.

modern rabat is clean and open, perhaps a bit too open during the summer heat. but around it, there are both old muslim quarters as well as beautiful remains from all periods of moroccan history.

fez. city of the endless mosque

the capital of morocco for all together more than 400 years, home of the oldest university of the country and the leading cultural and religious centre. fez is also the home of the oldest an largest medieval city in the world, a city that is almost unchanged through the modern ages and still most definately alive.

fez was founded in 789 at a place between the mountains where the river was flushing by. history has provided the city with long periods of hardship, but fez has never died. today it has its own culture, pride, art and even cuisine.

In this forum you will find everything you need to know about Marocco. Where to find entertainment, how much to pay, where to sleep, which cities offer what. But still guys are posting stupid questions. Once again, here is the low-down about Maroc:

- Wow! A great place! Great people! Great food! Cheap!

- You don't speak French or Arabic? Find a different destination.

- Keep a low profile. The police take tips, but nonetheless.

- The people are proud and mongering is not appreciated.

- Entertainment should be reimbursed at MAD 250-500 night. If you hear of a moron paying more than that, please report him immediately to the local police for execution.

- When should you visit this great country? Don't go two weeks before Ramadan, during Ramadan, or several days after the end of Ramadan.

- Need a place to sleep? For our hobby, only option are apartments. Ask anybody sitting on a chair in front of a building if they have something. If they don't have one, they know somebody who does. Don't be surprised if the family leaves so you can move in for a few days. An apt. Costs about MAD 400-600 a day for two to three bedrooms, kithchen, salon, bath. Often you will have to pay in advance, but try to pay daily. You may have to suddenly flee the town you are in. Figure out how to discretely ask if you may have visitors and don't be surprised if some people react disgusted and chase you away with a long rusty sword.

- Where is the entertainment? Maroc is poor. The women gorgeous! Really. If you know how to monger, just smile at the women anywhere. Soon you will be on your way. Otherwise, try to find a tea room, go in, and if you see a couple of girls sitting together, take a seat and order. It won't go long and they will be smiling at you, and will probably join you at the table.

- Protect the women! Woman are disposed of properly if they are known prostitutes, don't contribute to this problem. Don't go out in public with any girl.

- Smoke. Yes, Maroc has wonderful smoke. Send your girl after it. The price varies greatly, quality too. Locals pay about MAD 15-20, you will pay as much as six to seven times that if you don't have a good contact.

And also what is the second language in Casa Blanca French or Spanish

It is a great place, a lot of fun. But hey, this is Morocco, not upstate New York! Ever heard of the Atlas Mtns? The Sahara desert? Camels? You definately don't want to be driving a car in the countryside of Morocco, honest. And even less, you don't want to be in the boonies and run into a control post of uniformed men. Maybe they are police, maybe militia, maybe something all together different, but they are definately not good for you and they will make life for your little white a*s very uncomfortable, contrary to what you may have read elsewhere!!!

my personal point of view is very different than the previous poster. i am an expat living in morocco and i've drive cars from agadir to fes on small roads and highways and across the atlas to ouarzazate and around the gorges and the sand dunes. i also rode a bike around and i've never had the hint of a problem. the biggest hassle is probably parking in the cities. i also have many work colleagues who own cars and have rented cars and no one i know has had any major problems besides fender benders and 20-50 dirhams tips to greedy policemen who usually stopped them because they were speeding or doing something of the sort.

be prepared for very creative driving though, the rules of the road are very flexible here.

Some general questions about Women in Morocco:

I have read elsewhere that Morocco has recently changed some Laws regarding Marriage/Divorce and Child support, can anyone knowledgable, give some Details about these changes and what they practically mean?

Have these changes any real bearing on the practical everyday situation and the general attitude?

Actually I used to like it there because it was conservative on emancipation issues.

Coming from the West I see no value in the emancipation movement of the last 30 years, it has lead to a destabilization and destruction of Families on a massiv scale.

For me its about relationships with Men and Women and Sex. Directly related to this are Family Structures and getting Children (like it or not.), and I maintain that to that end, the emancipation movement of the last 30 Years has had NO VALUE in Western Countries.

Population growth is actually receding and declining. Emancipation has incrementally destroyed the relationships between Men and Women and consequently has divided and split up their Families, and made Children Fatherless. It has fostered and grown an exorbitant rate of divorce in Western Countries, actually a large portion of couples avoid marriage altogether, because they want to spare themselves the Trauma of a divorce. And as a consequence the Sexlife of many has suffered immensely and you have a large population inherently destabalized and emotionally impoverished who try to cope by abusing Drugs and Alcohol, becoming Workaholics, trying find compensatory satisfaction in buying numerous pairs of new Shoes in shopping Malls and running up the debt on their Credit Cards for which they have to subsequently pay the Interest (standard of living? ), instead of having a Sexlife and a happy Familylife.

The Black House Disco has quite a few pros and semi-pros. I met a real stunner moroccan girl there the previous weekend with whom I had quite a nice chat for a while and we ended up kissing passionately on the couch upstairs (the place is 2 floors, and upstairs is more lounge-style). This was before we talked any money! When I invited her to my room, of course she asked for some financial support. 3000 Dirhams, which I easily negotiated down to 2000 and the deal is done. She needs to register, and needs a seperate room! 2500 Dirhams! This then went down to my corporate rate of 2000 Dirhams after few minutes of haggling, which at the end still makes the overall cost quite a high one. While I was still OK to pay it, she refused to produce her identity card for registration saying this will be a problem for her. F**k!

3am in the morning at the reception, me trying to convince her to register. The big and unforgettable moments of emberassment! It didn't work with her and we went back to the disco.

We chatted for some more while and she explained me her situation that she is married, her husband is out of town, and she came with a friend to have some fun! She just did not want to leave any trace behind by having officially registered at a hotel! And then she offerred me her girlfriend. 1000 Dirhams for the new girl who spoke no english and 1000 for her pimping! No, thanks!

I was so horny, pissed off and little drunk so I could do with anyone. Therefore picked a regular next-door type OK-looking girl who asked for 2000, but agreed to 1500 till noon-time. Good choice! She never acted like a pro. And she was pretty much into everything except A-level.

Overall cost was quite high : 2000 for her room, 1500 for her, another 1000 for drinks at the disco.

About the disco itself : It's quiet an upscale and nice place. The drinks are over-priced with beverages/beers starting from 130 Dirham - 11 euros. It opens at 11:30 but starts to get crowded around 1:30 only.

I wonder whether you need to be registered at the hotel to be able to get a 2nd room for the girl.

My advice (once more):

-If you plan to take a girl to your hotel room (bad idea) you would have to pay a room for her. Alternative, you choose an hotel where the rates are below 800 DHR (you will find some). Better rent an appartment on www.homelidays.com or www.abritel. Fr. You will pay an average of 800. 1000 DHR/night for a nice flat with the advantage of taking the girl with you without problem (of course you will tipp the doorman, 50 DHR or cigarettes or both.).

-Avoid the discos (Cesar's, Black House, .) where tourists are going, you have seen the prices for the girls, 2000. 3000 DHR! The minimum salary (not respected), per month, is under 1800 DHR!

These places are foreseen for rich Saudi people who do not care about the prices and make the market down!

-Prefer to have a look during the end of the day ( 19:00 h) towards La Corniche (near the see) and try to get telephone numbers from the girls around. There you will find plenty of bars night-clubs and hotels.

-A very good place also to find out telephone numbers are the commercial centers in the city center (in front of the hotel Hyatt). Girls are open and sometimes happy to meet foreighners.

-Casablanca offers you also some restaurants where girls are waiting future customers. Idea is: enter the restaurant, choose a girl, eat with her, then do with her what you'd like to make. If I remember well a good one was the "Dauphin Bleu" near the city center. Ask a taxi driver, a one who knows the scene, do not forget to give him tipps, I am sure if he does not know he will know who to ask for.

I decided to conclude my third and last night in Casa again in the Black House disco. I was there punctually at midnight but almost noone was in except for only a handful of guys hanging at the bar. I went back to my room to finish some work and was back at 1:30 and place was crowded enough with a good male to female ratio. While hanging at the bar, I started conversating with a nice english guy who provided me a similar insight to Roger's that 1000 dirham should be enough to buy a good entertainment for the night. That set my upper limit!

Be aware that there are also normal girls who are there just to have a night out with friends, thus they might be offended if you bring the topic straight to what you are actually interested in. Leave that to the girl! Few attempts on the best looking girls but noone was interested in for anything less than 2000 dirhams. Then I met this baby-face girl who spoke passable english. Her openning price was 2500, that I of course declined. After a round of drinks and some little talk, I told her I am going to my room. It was anyway almost 3:30am and I had a taxi booked to pick me up at 8:30 for the airport. She asked me how much I can pay her. I told her that I could have paid her 2000 if I hadn't met this english guy at the bar, and now my upper limit is only 1000, and anything more than that would make me feel cheated. She accepted!

This time I did not want to create a scene, thus checked with her upfront whether she'd be fine to register and proceeded straight to the reception. Very pretty and smiling face, smooth skin, above-average body, but poor performance in bed. We had sex 3 times and she was very reluctant and dry even after the first round. I woke her up at 8, and she asked me whether she could stay in and continue sleeping. I told her she also has a paid room and she may do that in her own room, which to my surprise she agreed to and picked the key card and moved few rooms away! Just funny!

Total cost : 2000 for her room, 1000 for her, 700 for drinks at the disco. That makes around 300 euros I think. Definitely not the cheapest mongering experience, but doable, especially if you can find a way to avoid the 2nd room.

I am heading to Casa on the 26 of November for 10 days. I have read extensivelly the Morocco forum and I am planning to go for the non-pro target.

I have prepared a (hopefully) sucker-proof strategy to bring girls to my rented apartment (around 400 Dirhams per night) in an International compound, where the owner clearly confirmed I will not have problems bringing girls (he used it as a selling point for the apt and I guess it worked).

In Morocco as in other countries you never knows what you will expect. My experiences in Morocco are the following:

-Nice real girls, natural, really looking to have good time with you, expect maybe some gift back or some relation in the future. Hope maybe to visit you in your country. Maybe also to get married, who knows?

-Nice girls expecting some money back because they really do need it (family situation)

-Professionnal ones. Meeting you just for money, not for the fun, can be annoying..Girl who'd like to find somebody to speak about her problem, her situation, she is looking more for a confident, not really for sex; it's up to you to persuade her to do more.

I've had really all kind of experiences, very good ones and some very annoying ones. I would say that the quality of the girls has the tendency to decrease if I compare with what I used to get 10 years ago, you get actually more the prostitute character than girl friend profile!

If I had to rate some way of meeting girls in Morocco, I would suggest:

Here are my first experiences of Casa.

As told you, I am after the non-pros. So I am ready for a lot of footwork and many rejections, but hopefully a lot of romance and GFE.

I arrive late in the afternoon after a flight from Milan. Difficult to find the apartment but I managed. I leave the luggage and I go out. I go straight to the shopping mall the TWINS at around 1900 but not much around. I try to make some contact as detailed by previous post but it seems it is not working and my French is kind of rusty. I eat something and then wait for midnight to explore some of the discos mentioned before. I go to Hotel de la ville and Calypso but I am very disappointed. Only very hardened pros looking for very expensive deals. Also drinks at Calypso are expensive (10 Euro per 1 jin and tonic, what the f***). I leave at around 1:30 starting to think that coming to Casa has been the biggest mistake of my entire life. At this point I am considering to cut my looses short and book a flight back to Milan.

Thanks god I did not do that!

The following day things start to turn very positive indeed.

Here is my full report on Casablanca.

As said in my previous report, I was thinking about going back home. But then I discovered how it works in Morocco and it has been a great trip.

First of all you need to speak at least some French. English in my opinion would not take you very far. My French is really scholastic (I am German) but good enough to have a chat with the girls while sipping a good coffee. This is particularly important with the non-pros, since everything should be done with discretion (the “how much” / “I pay you money” / “do you want to fuck” does not work). I only got one girl asking me straight for money, most of the others asked for taxi money or money to buy medicines for their mother (plenty of sick mothers in Casablanca, apparently) after we did the deed. I wish I could speak Arab, then it would have been real paradise. I am not sure if the more hardcore pros in disco would speak English (I suspect they do to some extent).

Also, all of my action happened during the day (went to bed quite early most of the days....). In fact action can start as early as 800 am when you go to have breakfast. You will find a lot of girls in the city coffee shops willing to make contact and sit with you (and may be more). The reason why everything happens during the day is that 99% of the girls live with their family and staying out all night would bring shame to the whole family (men, on the other end, can stay as late as they want). I have talked to regular girls not in the game and they told me that when they want to go out and have a wild night, they go to Marrakech or Rabat (2 hrs and 1 hrs respectively by car) where nobody knows them. Also, they told me that boys in Morocco tend to be very cocky: whenever something happen, they tell all their friends, making it impossible for the girls to have their (rightly) deserved share of fun without fear of been labeled sluts.

Also you need to have your apartment and make sure the security does not have a problem with you bringing girls upstairs. The owner of the flat I rented (a French) confirmed that I was not going to have any problem, but in fact I did. There were two security guys, one making the day shift, the other the night one. The first never gave me any problem, but the second wanted the girls to show their ID card (the official one issued by the government, which none of the girl I met carried). He gave me a hard time twice so I decided to call the owner who later talked to him and settled things. Yet, it was quite awkward and annoying every time I had to bring a girl upstairs. So my advice is to make sure you give generous tips to the security (my bribe was a free breakfast every morning from the coffee shop close to the building).

The areas where to meet girls in Casa are three, the shopping center TWIN and surrounding areas, the cafes around the United Nations Square (where the Hyatt Regency is) and close to the beach LA CORNICHE.

TWIN is really the only high rise building in Casa and supposedly the "luxury" shopping center. The good spots where to make contact with the girls are: 1) inside the shopping mall while walking the isles 2) the food court in the lower basement (plenty of semi-pros there sitting at the tables) 3) the restaurant around the shopping mall, particularly VENEZIA ICE and LA BRIOCHE DOREE'.

The area around the Hyatt is less upscale but many colleges and schools are located around it so after 1100/1200 AM there are a lot of college girls roaming the streets without much to do.

LA CORNICHE is where all the discos are located. During the weekend is full of girls eating an ice-cream or strolling along the promenade.

The best way to meet girls is either stop them on the street asking for some direction and then striking a conversation or go to a cafe, sit, look around and see if you make eyes contact. If you do, go to her table and politely ask her if you can sit.

I met dozen of girls in this way and a good 50% accepted to have a coffee with me. Now, a word of caution: most of these girls are not necessarily in the game and will not go straight to your apartment. Also, I was always very polite; I always treated them with respect and never mentioned my hidden agenda unless I saw an opportunity. People in Morocco are very nice and welcoming, but this doesn’t mean that if you strike a conversation they will want to have sex with you. It is up to you to understand who is and who is not a good prospect for your hobby, so you don't waist time with a conservative girl. I noted that a good way to distinguish between a regular girl and a potential lay is by how they answer few questions: 1) "did you have a foreign boyfriend / friends?" (if yes it is a good sign, foreign boyfriend want to have sex.....) 2) "do you work?" (if she starts complaining about how small salaries are in Morocco, it means she may be interested to receive some taxi money to supplement her meager earnings) and finally, best of all, "do you want to continue this conversation in my apartment?" (although it does not always guarantee an happy ending, I had a girl coming twice and I was never able to go lower than her neck).

In the third report I will tell you more about what actually happened. But to give you a little taste of it, in the 10 days I was there I had sex 8 times with 5 different girls, and the final tally could have been at least double if I was not too picky in choosing the girls. I consider this a very good rate indeed.

Just come back from a trip in Agadir. A small update about situation there.

We can find some cheaper package to Marrocco including flights, hotels and food from Europe during low season.
But the inconvienent of this choice is the attitude with girls. Hotels will usually refused girls unless you paid for an extra room.
So the solution is to look after a flat, not far from the hotel. So in one side you can enjoy girls in your rented appartment and the other side enjoy food and the swimming pool in the hotel.

Appartment : it’s become difficult to rent an appartement nowdays for a single man. Due to some recent problems with saoudians (who took videos of girls).
But if you go in the surburb you can find some.but be ready to spend some time. Just look that the entrance is free and the neighbourhood are far from your entrance.

Place : i used to go to hotel Salam (but now it’s closed due to some financial problem).
Now you have cabarets (le 80, tropico…)between 9 pm to 12 pm where you can hear some local singer while drinking beer and smoking chicha.but i don’t find nice girls there and furthermore music was too lousy for me.
There is also discotheque (the factory, sphinx, dreams,papagayo,…)start at midnight. You can find nice girls there.but sometimes you have to pay the entrance.it’s depend on your face…
You can also find girls (amateur or semi pro) during the day & afternoon.there are walking in the beach side ( la cote) or in mains streets (Hassan II).usually they walk by pair. And also at Mac Donalds and in tea shops along the beach.

Girls : always nice and beautiful. I was more into girls walking in the streets. Just be nice and talk …they will always answer you. Try to get an appointement (at mac donald or for a tea) or to have her mobil number.
I usually paid 200-300 drh for few hours and 500-600 drh for the nights.
I notice that many girls don’t like oral now.so ask them before if you like that and also anal.


Pratical things : don’t change a lot of money at the airport.the rate is low.change in the center.
Buy a local ship for your mobile.
You can find cheap one for 15 Drh.

i am planning to go there in march, so this was very useful. it is now two years since i was there last time. then there was very few other tourists, and the police come after me and my girl (from a disco). when we got to a apartment where it was possible to get a room for us, the police come up on me and smiled and asked: "so u are out with your girlfriend?" i understrand that he wanted something, and i gave him 100 dirams. he smiled back and everything was ok.

antother day i was able to get a girl into my hotel, but i had to pay for a seperate room for her. about 300 dirams. but then she also had to be from another city than agadir. i dont speek french. on my first trip to agadir i had a local "guide" that was very helpful, but of coruse, he also wanted som money. on my last trip i trusted som other men to find an apartment for me, but it was almost impossible, and they ended up showing me an awful apartment that i had to share with some spuspicious local man - i did not want it, and one of the men "helping me" become angry. a rather not so nice excperience.

Next time you are in Casa, please check the following places, maybe you will also get a lot of fun (instead going always in the same places, I mean Sheraton, Hyatt and around La Corniche):

-- The restaurant/bar "Blue Dolphin" located in the area around the Farah Hotel (old Safir) in a spur of the Avenue of the "Forces Armées Royales" (I no longer have a clear picture of the situation). On entering the restaurant, by the way which used to serve excellent food, we first went to the bar located in the bottom of the restaurant. Then we selected a nice girl, we invited her to our table to have a diner together. She danced for us during the meal and by 24:00 we could move to the disco at the basement of this nice place or go back to our flat!

Questions: does this restaurant still exists? Do you know some other restaurants/bar of this type? By the way another restaurant where you can pick up girls, located near the Sheraton is the "Petite-Fleur". Prefer to visit this place during the lunch time, after 13:00!.- I remember a bar / restaurant located behind the Sheraton Hotel, on a busy street. Fredo, from what i've been reading on various places you could try the following and let us know how you get on. Don't forget to tell us about your experiences because thats what this forum is all about!

(1) In the past, the Saudis used to hit the Agdal area of Rabat where the main shopping street (Avenue Fal Ould Oumeir) used to have chicks looking for business towards the evening. Not sure if this scene still exists, so take a look and let us know.

(2) An interesting bar located in the basement of the Hotel Balima across from the parliament building used to have a selection of chicks.

(3) Finally, there is a place called the 'Mega mall' in Rabat. If we think about it, there is a good chance of finding non-pros here. Take a look as its just my hunch, and let us know.

(4) Finally, Rabat is a student city - so why not hang out in the student areas and see what fish you catch!

Hello there,

Just returned from a short visit to Tangier, and man it was great. If you want to see Morocco's (and Tangiers) finest women, do visit the Disco 555. It is the greatest and most famous discotheque in Tangier.

High entrance fee (20 euro) but once inside it's packed with dancing and crawling hot arab hotties. Big booty, small booty, nice skin, great long black hair uhummmmm.

Due to the european strong currency (sorry Americans.) the price for a whole night was pretty reasonable. 90euro!

TIP: do NOT stay in a hotel, unless you want to pay for an extra room every time you have a hottie over, morrocan hotels don't allow a woman in your room unless yu're married. So then you must rent a seperate room for her.

Better to take an appartment and then you are free to do whatever you like!

Any bar, disco or pub has ladies at night that are very willing to go home with you for a financial boost.

Tangier was once a vibrant city, lately it was deteriorating, but now again many new resorts are being build, great food, (try Le Mirage, very classy! ) nice beaches, a great casino, so apart from the women there's much to do!

Spend a couple of days in Marrakech last week and it was great.
I was there on a businesstrip and in the late afternoon I had some time off.

I am just back from Marrakech. I spent 10 days in charming company. I was accompanied by one of my friends, this is the first time he came to Morocco and did not appreciate too much, I shall explain later!

We made the classic tour, I mean cafes located opposite to the Palais des Congrès, bar of the Royal Mirage, the Montecristo (currently it is an African group playing there), and The Comptoir, as well as the inevitable Diamant Noir and café Boule de Neige!

First observation: The POLICE IS EVERYWHERE. be careful!

My friend has learned it to his cost! It was about 12:00 o’clock in place Jamaa el Fna, my friend and his new girl friend walking a couple of meters around me, not hand in hand, "the distance required by the Koran? ", we were walking among the stalls of dates and oranges. Suddenly, two police officers (casual clothes, no uniforms) approached the Moroccan girl and talked to her. My friend turned to me and asked me, what to do? I decided to join the group and asked them what the matter was? A police told us that this young person talked to both of us when we went out the taxi, it is forbidden, and she knows it! Seeing where that the police officers wanted to come, I asked them if we could find a quick solution to this problem. The case was set by giving 300 DHR to the police officers! There are now more than 15 years that I come each year to Morocco and I had not yet experienced such a situation. It should come once!

Let speak now about the places I’ve described above:

- Coffees in front of the Palais des Congrès: Arriving at about 21:00, a lot of girls, we talked to some of them but just to get tel numbers. Nice atmosphere and usual prices.

- Bar at the Royal Mirage: Thursday evening, desert, not a single girl! The waiter says that the hotel is frequented at 20% of its capacity, which is why. .

- Montecristo, ground floor: tonight good atmosphere, not too crowded, but damned good girls, no way to negotiate within DHR 1500! A bit to expensive for us, we left to. .

- Le Comptoir: (average: 5 guys to 1 girl), lots of beautiful girls, I took one and went home. No comment!

Regarding my friend, who stayed in the bar longer than me, it was less pink: As I explained to him, he took a taxi alone, his new girlfriend in another one, so far everything went well! Once arrived in front of his flat, it was around 1 o'clock in the morning, things went bad: he was looking for his key to unlock the main door of the building where he leaved, his girlfriend next to him. Suddenly a small van from the national security stopped nearby! Two policemen went out of the car and began to speak with his girlfriend, in Arabic of course! My friend: PANIC, what to do? He called me to ask for advice! A policeman misinterpreted his call and thought he was maybe calling a prominent figure in the place and replied to him: "it is not necessary to involve somebody, we can find an arrangement"! I was still in the phone and I could perceive the discussion. I told my friend to propose to give them 400 DHR. end of story! This evening my friend did not fucked as it could have. .

I later learned that some buildings where foreigners live are constantly monitored by the police. Means before that your girl friend go out the taxi make a look carefully around you to avoid such kind of bad surprise!

I go ahead with our tour.

- We also had a look on the 1st floor of the bar which juxtaposes Le Comptoir, not bad!

- Diamant Noir: Several hot girls, but. But. Minimum price to go out, 1300 DHR + extension of 300 DHR for their parasites, taxi drivers and other pests! We left, we weren’t ready to pay so much, we also had a non good feeling with the girls, too professional (but very sexy)!

- Boule de Neige: we went there always between 19:00. 20: 30. We went out several times with girls, it worth it!

Remark concerning the beauty institutes: I’ve got massage every day, that’s one of my pleasure. It is true that some masseuses are ready to make BJ for about DHR 200, I have experienced it just for you gentlemen. My friend went to another institute and there idem, the lady presented to him practiced such services. Have fun BUT be careful!

I don't think that harassing tourists will in the end yield a high return. First time visit to Morocco, most of my time was spent in Rabat due to work obligations. I looked through this thread for Rabat and general info and it was helpful. I also got a few contacts through the AFF site.

I did not do so well on price, but had convenience, which was appreciated with my busy work schedule.

I wasn't planning on mongering. Just an idea of going there for maybe vacation and relaxing. I'd like to visit Meknes, maybe. I am undecided about Morocco or Puerto Rico. I'm leaning more towards Puerto Rico, since I'm American, I don't need a visa to stay there for an extended length. Yes, I was reading about the Belgian dude that screwed things up there, although he had some great pics in the Cameroon section! I have some North African friends, mainly from Algeria and they tell me the girls in Morocco that still live with their families are all pretty decent. must say that agadir is very nice place for meeting moroccon girls. just spent a few days there. the first night i get drunk, and could hardly remeber antyting but bringing a girl to an apartment that i rented for one night. :.(

Just returned from a three night bash in Marrakech and thought that I would contribute a few of my findings. First one should know that this was my first trip to Morocco. I'm no expert but having read nearly every post on this board as well as youpie.net I had a pretty good idea of how to proceed and places to visit.

I will do my best to now provide a somewhat entertaining and detailed report yet with an emphasis on facts and findings. OK, so we are three guys of which one will soon be married. Thus this trip is indeed a mongering mission. We of course took the advice to not stay at a hotel. This is crucial and in fact we found a wonderful three suite villa on the outskirts of the city on Route de L'Ourika (it's called Casa Menara. Google it). Very reasonable prices, three bedroom place and we had it to ourselves complete with two super friendly locals that took care of our every whim against a tip (€100) at the end of our stay. No problem to bring the girls back to our den.

Having arrived last Friday around 16. 00 we proceeded to our villa, a quick shower, some cocktails and then immediately off to Boule de Niege. I was under the impression that this was a swanky hotel bar with top flight talent seeking johns early in the day. This is not the case. It is a run down ice cream parlor with no liquor whatsoever. However it is obvious that the Boule functions as a meeting place for mongorers and semi-pros. About 20-25 girls present divided into groups of 3-4 at a table. Every one of these girls shot a glance at us during our stay. They will not approach but you will receive glances and an occasional smile or wink. It's a given that all are indeed looking for business. However the quality was rather poor on the whole. My friend and I did finally make it over to a table of two, both about 6-7's. Day 2 Saturday

Hit the souk and Medina. Had a lovely tangine for dirt cheap and picked up a few beautiful items in the Medina. 1 If I were you I would go to hotel Sherazade, because as you said some reports on Youppie were very positive on the mater.

Well. I tried several of the recommendations from earlier in the forum and did not have a lot of luck.

First, Avenue Al Amir Fal Ould Oumeir, no luck in two nights of prowling. Found two that might have been possibilities, but, both rated between 2 and 3 on a scale of 10. Also, seems very hard for Taxi drivers to understand where you want to go, even when pointing it out on a map. Strange given all the upscale shops and such.

Second, the Hilton Travellers bar. This was better, but, still no dice. There were 2 obvious that again rated around 3, maybe 4 after a beer or two. However, on second pass, saw a couple of promising possibilities, so, sat down and ordered some Moroccan Mint Tea. Didn't get anywhere in trying to make contact with the first two possibilities, but, while I was sitting there, another lovely showed up. I'd give here an 8 out of 10.

She was from somewhere to the south of Rabat, but, in town for the weekend. Things definitely would have been easier (and I would have gotten a better deal or opted out) if I had spoken French or Arabic. No question that English only is a definite disability in this market, but, not impossible.

I ended up paying 1000 ST and 200 Hotel + 20 cab, 35 for a pack of cigarettes (for her, I don't smoke) and 100 for her cab after. (When we negotiated, I thought that was 1000 LT. I don't know whether we failed to communicate or whether she changed the deal.)

Anyway, she was very cute and what services she offered were enthusiastically and genuinely provided. (DFK, BBBJ, CFS), but, many things were off-limits (DATY, FOV, FIV).

Things are definitely more complicated here, and, I'm sure the fact that I didn't speak French or Arabic only made it worse for the girl. However, some changes to the previously posted rules may be in order from what I observed. She led me through the process in such a way that we did not have any problems and she didn't seem concerned at any point.

She did hold my hand at certain busy intersections and such when crossing the street or when she wanted to make sure she didn't lose me in the crowd. I strictly followed her lead as to when we held hands or when we did not. Also followed her subtle directions as to whether to walk next to her or slightly behind her. I can't explain the body language involved, but, it somehow seemed intuitively clear enough at the time. After a quick stop at an ATM (yeah, I know, dumb move, but, I got lucky this time, and, I did guard my PIN), we grabbed a cab. Apparently it's OK to cab together in the blue (metered) taxis with her in the back seat and man in the front passenger seat. When we got to the hotel, there was a somewhat lengthy negotiation between her and the hotel attendant. Eventually he turned to me and asked me for something (I presume some form of proof we were married or such). I played dumb and explained in my worst attempt at French that I didn't speak French. This seemed to do the trick... She and he rambled on in Arabic for a while longer and finally, he said "Passport, Sir". I handed over my passport and 200MAD and received a room key.

At this point, I figured either this was going to turn out OK, or, I was going to have a very unpleasant conversation with the Moroccan authorities.

I don't remember the name of the hotel, but, it was just up the street from Biba and Jefferson which are just off Place M'lilya. Kind of a dive, but mostly adequate for the task at hand.

Nonetheless, she was very sweet, everything did turn out OK, and a good time was had by all. Yes, I overpaid, but, I chalk it up to the price of not speaking any of the local languages. Frankly, to me it was worth it. She was very cute and very enthusiastic, albeit shorter than I hoped and a more limited menu. Would I do it again, probably not, but, I'm leaving Morocco tomorrow anyway and have no idea when/if I'll be back.

FWIW, the best place at Cafe Balima seems to be the row of tables facing out onto the square closest to the Cafe itself and on the side of the square farthest from the train station (Gare Rabat Ville). Hang out there for a while and there seems to be some churn of ladies coming and going. Look for the ones that are intermittently alone and manage to make a single cafe' last for an amazing amount of time.

Finally, about Avenue Amir Fal Ould Oumeir, this place didn't work out for me. It also seemed to be very difficult to explain to taxi drivers. (took a great deal of time and repeated explanations the first two trips there). Then, I learned the easy solution. Tell the taxi driver you want to go to "Gare Rabat Agdal". He'll drop you in front of the train station. From there, it's walk out of the station parking lot and turn left. When you come to the Place (roundabout), one of the streets coming off to the left of where you arrived is Avenue Amir Fal Ould Oumeir. Best of luck. It's a fun street to peruse even if you don't get any action. Lots of activity and while many of them seem surprised to see a foreigner in the area, I never felt I was getting any of the wrong kind of attention.

Thank you.My friend my advice to you is to hit one of the nightclubs, where you'll certainly find a lot of WGs, chat to anyone of them, not necessarily the one you'd like to 'hire', and ask them if they can either:

1) go out with you to HER place.

2) fix you up with the WG you like in the vicinity + a place to do your 'business'

In the 2nd case don't forget to mention that you're gonna reward her for her services. This works 50% of the time as a lot of girls are 'setup' in local hotels or live on their own and so can provide a place, just make sure you appear 'safe'.

Its unwise to list any specific contacts in Marrakesh (or for probably anywhere else in Morocco) because, and especially since, the notorious, Belgian journalist 'Servaty' incident, just a few years ago;

Soured relations between Morocco and Belgium. The reason being, of course, that the local police read this website looking for leads, hence the game of checking around for the best basement nightclubs, that, in order to to survive, must migrate almost weekly and are usually located within the Gueliz area.

Much the same logic goes with finding 'girl friendly' Riads. I don't really wish to dampen your ardour! But even if such 'liberal' Riads do exist in Marrakesh and these traditional Riads are located exclusively within the medaieval Medina, then it would be in effect 'shopping' them, to post it here. The 'Menara' one you have mentioned, sounds like its right next to the airport and therefore could perhaps realistically, be a more likely candidate; or as another poster suggested, you could check out the more modern hotels located in the Gueliz area of Marrakesh, rather than waste time on the traditional Riads.

There's also a police crackdown on 'the usual suspects' such as the tourist hustlers, pimps etc that operate mostly in the vicinity of the 'the big square'. J'maal efna, in Marrakesh. However, lets not get too gloomy about a police state! Its clearly not this. But then Morocco is also not a western style democracy either, but a kind of autocratic theocracy. Much the same could be said of alcohol and gambling. There's a sort of limited official tolerance of these pusuits, now usually located/confined in the more western style hotels in modern Marrakesh, despite the general crackdown elsewhere. Just come back from a trip in Marrakech. I went there during the Ramadam. and i can say that it is not the best period for hunting.

my mission to marrakesh was successful and actually delightful. here is a summary of my various exploits and therein the guidance to fellow mongers

1. since i am an early bird, i could wait to recon the place. hence i arrive at mcdonald at 12 noon. sure enough, there was a good looking one stalking me within 10 mins. she gave me the eye. i walked across to the desk and obtained an ash tray for her and left it on her table and sat down smiled at her. she smiled and motioned me to sit at her table, which i did. i proceeded to ask her if she knew english, she said she did not know. i asked her if she would go out with me and she said oui. with great deal of difficulty on account of my not knowing french and arabic and her not knowing english, we progressed to establish that she wanted 800 and was willing to hang out for the day. i was staying at the mogodor hotel and asked her if she could come. i gave her my key jacket which had my room no written on it. she said no. i used that opportunity to slip away. so it si confirmed that there is action at this joint. the landmark is opposite post office and not one next to the raliway station as has been explained before in the forum.

5. i had business at several of hotels. one hotel was royal mogdor opposite palace de congress. once my business was finished, i went out to talk a walk back to my hotel. as i moved a few furlongs away, one of th eguys approached me and started talking very friendly in english with me and said he was at the hotel that i had just gone to. he offered to show me around. we went to restaurants, coupe of belly dancing places and i asked him about massage places and girls. he said massage palces were ok but rarely would i get a girl there and that i should go to paradise or padsha for girls. so the talk away is to be friend the hotel staff for good pointers and to accompany you on your trip and could even perhaps translate for you. this person was kind enough to take me on his scooty. i paid for his meals and that was i thought a good deal for the insights he gave me on the locals. he was very reassuring about the safety of carryin on our favourite missions in morrocco. he said all arabs come to morrocco only to do this. the only caution is to be discrete. he also comfirmed that the best place to stay is the apartments where you could basically do what you want and nobody would bother you.

6. i was told by a business associate that the massage and the hammam at royale mirage spa was good. i went and took the package, which cost me 750. a middle aged woman did the hammam, scrub and massage, with me in nothing but a skimpy thong. it felt nice to be scrubbed by her. but there was no hanky panky.

Whatever posh Hotel you stay in, you have traveled to India ? Well that is no comparison to a Muslim country. So if you insist on staying in Hotel prepare to pay for an extra room.

First time in Morrocco (this took place in Marrakesh, although I was in Fes, and Casablanca before) and didn't speak a word of French. I read up, and knew that I shouldn't get a hotel, but didn't really have a choice since I had no idea where to look. Ended up getting a tiny hotel 3 or 4 blocks from the main McD's. Tons of hotties always at McD, but I had no luck. A couple times, I had a girl come up to me on the street, but they weren't my type. Went to a couple of "hamman" but no luck there either. I may have gotten a girl in trouble trying to insist. But no luck.

But, did end up going to the little spanish bar around the corner from the McDonalds. I can't remember the name for the life of me. But the bartender was really cool. Told me to come back the next day and there will be tons of women. He was right. But, stupid me, I end up hooking on to the first thing I see. Terrible teeth, but I was damn horny. So we decide that its a go. First, I have to take care of her tab at the bar. Then a taxi to VIP, then her and my entrance fees, then pay a bit to the house there, then a cab to her apartment, but that was no good, then a cab to another place, then that was no good. Somewhere around here, I thought I was fucked. Then back to her apartment, but we were spotted by the police, I ran inside. She apparently payed them off. But finally it is on. Finally.

Dirty ass apartment. Barely any foreplay. Fucked her BB (so far I'm clean). A quick BJ. Then to Doggy where I came inside her. Showered up, then I was on my way. I had no idea where to look for a place, and when I could find something to rent, I had no idea how I would get there and around. Just attempting to communicate with a Moroccan Taxi driver was a hassle.

My eye contact rarely did a thing. I stood out like a sore thumb and I was mostly a oddity there. Short sweaty stumpy asian guy.

But I must say, some of those Moroccan girls were the hottest chicks I have ever seen. Much hotter than one would expect.

I spent a weekend at Casablanca, in a hotel at the Corniche. This neighbourhood got all the barlounges, nightclubs. As a french speaker was not a problem. I took my information from french speaking forum called youppie.net

First of all, security is a main concern for foreigners. Lots of people beg, and try to get money from you. It happens systematically when you walk down the street. By the way, I ve been told about a french guy who lost 130 euros because a moroccan guy met in the street promised him girls and the moroccan guy ran away with the money.

Just like other muslims countries, you got lots of guys in the street and really few girls. It is like 10 guys for 2 girls. I went out to Havana club, Pajlol and Calypso (which is a place where it has been advised for pros).

In regular places, I noticed also lots of guys for few girls. And girls were always with men. In terms of behaviour, I didn't notice so much difference with Europe, except you got lots of eyes contact. But it doesn't mean anything. When I ve been to Calypso, all the cute pros were taken yet by local punters. When I left this place at 3 in the morning, a child tried to pickpocket me. Another drunk man was upset because I didn't say bonsoir to him. As you see it is tough.

I also would like to tell you about the problem of morocco. There, no way to get a girl back to your hotel without problem. 1/ You have to pay for Taxi for her and one for you (you can't take a taxi together. 2/ you have to hire a hotel room only for her as well. That s why people take apartements.

3 moroccan people told me Casablanca was less good than Marakech to go out.

I think they are other mediterraenean countries were you ll get the same kind of girls with more safety.

Finally after one year i will go back to Morocco this month. Last year i visit Tangier and Marrakech. I think Morocco is a beautiful country with nice people you just need to be open for it. True there are hustlers on the street and it can be annoying but in general if you treat them with respect, you will get it back. I find them friendly hospitable and warm people.

We arrived in Mellia next to Nador in the north (me and 3 Moroccan friends of mine) the great thing of Mellia is that it is Spanish. We checked in a normal hotel that is what we thought at first. Later that evening i picked up a girl in a bar derby, it was no problem to take here back to the hotel. Paid 10 euro to get her in my room, she asked 40 fo one hour of steamy sex. It was super she was all over me pff. The hotel turned out to be a banging joint only for men who found a girl. We where the only ones who stayed for the hole night. In Marrakech we dit not hunt all of the time. I picked one girl at the djema el fna square. Just started with eye contact. Than she winked me to come over, she wrote her number on a paper and gave it to me. Later that evening I let one of my friend (he speaks a little Arabic) call her to come over. The 2 other friends, who are married where already a sleep in the room next to us. About 50 minutes later she arrived. The sex wasn’t that good I gave her 40 euro for 2,5 hour.

first of all id like to say i m a french native speaker and understand well what s happen in morocco.

Perhaps you guys know youppie.net, i m a native french speaker so i went to this forum several time. But i got the feelings the contributions there come from Story tellers. I didn't see anything they describe. Lots of people use to say the moroccans are nice but we never speak about safety. Main issues in morocco for me has been security.

Security means 3 things:

-Risk of being stolen (People beggin and rush into you)
-Risk of a Rip-off (giving money and getting nothing)
-Risk of being in trouble with moroccan police. (there were one moroccan police agent at each bb entrance on saturday at midnight at la Corniche).

i d like to warn the english speaking punters. it looks like the police orders has been strengthen now. It is not advised to go out from a bar or club at the same time with a local girl. There are hours when the policemen are standing by at entrance.

Personal vision:

Hello there, this report is specially for the people who have writting on the morrocan board earlier who made my trip easier and more fun.

This was my 2nd time to Marrackech and 4th time to Morocco, and it gets better every time I go.

Off course my little french helps out a bit, but its not even necesarry. As long as you are not too shy too start a conversation with women that show interest on the street, shop (s), train, busses or wherever, you will be able to hook up with regular women.

Of course there are women that will only talk to you and be nice to get some food or or order ice cream when you ask to go for a drink. But you will also find nice girls who find it interesting to meet a foreigner and want to be treated nice and with respect. These girls you can start dating and do your thing.

During my short stay of 8 days I collected several telnrs of women that I met on the street or in a shop or so.

Just make eye contact and when thats made. Smile, when that is answered just (discretely) start a conversation. Lot of times when you ask a woman then if she would like a drink she will come along or at least pass a nr so you can contact her later.

Just be aware that its a muslim country, all is possible, just don't make it too obvious.

Also when having a gilrfriend don't be too intimate on the streets, in Marrakech city (especially the Medina) people will take offend to this behaviour.

But all this "normal girl " things take time, and as Vatos was on limited time (and of course 4 the fun of it) I also mongered!

But Vatos loves to have a nice woman daytime, best mongering daytime is BDN (cafe Boul de Neige), its near Hotel Diwane and on Av Mohamed Boulevard.

Just sit inside have a drink and watch all the women inside. You like some girl? Call her (nodding) over. And then NOGOTIATE price! There are loads of girls so don't' make hasty decisions!

I took a gorgeous girls with huge tits. (archhhh) for 600DH / 2 hours, another day she was willing to come over for less. Next day same place another gorgeous chick came over for same money, she was a student and after school she would work untill 19oclock and then go home. Mannn.

What is the deal with an apartment, do you just book and then are left to your own devices or are there door men and cleaners, nosey neighbours to contend with ?

Is it best in centre of Marrakesh and if so any particular area ? Or is it better to go out a bit to the suburbs / desert ? somewhere remote with a nice pool ?

Is a villa more discreet or apartment ?

The other thing I read earlier was that you have to get separate taxis' back is that really true ? It seems some of the other guests to Marrakesh had some security issues, is this commonly the case or was it just bad luck ?

Yes Bilbo as stated before appartments are the best, but before booking ask the owner if having visitors at the appartment is ok. With this question they will know whats up and tell you if its ok or not.

There are many appartments for rent where neighbours WILL make problems if u let women enter your place!!

So best to ask beforehand! Taking 2 taxi's is not really necesary, just make sure u don't get out taxi in front of appartment (one street before) and do not enter appartment together, there are always congierges or other people hanging around in front of entrance that might create problems. If the lady enters your crib 5 minutes later its ok. (even if appartments owner told u visitors are ok, you still need to be discrete)

NEVER take a place in center! (exept in Casablanca, cos thats a very modern city) Outside is always better, in Marrakech for example go for Gueliz. And off course best choice (if budget allows) a villa outside the city. Great!, no one is looking what happens there.

Morroco is a pain in a lot of these matters but the rewards (women) are great!

Returned from a trip to Casablanca and was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of beautiful women. I didn't really know what to expect so the entire experience was great.

I went to a club in the basement of the Sheraton Hotel called Casear's club. It was a typical dance club and there were plenty of beautiful women to watch dance. It was pretty obvious that these ladies were looking for fun. While sitting at the table 2 of them just walked up and asked if I wanted a nice massage, but you could tell that was just code.

They said it was $2000 local money (Dirhams), I think it translates into about $110 U. S. Well from here it was pretty simple to sit back and pick which one to motion to come over.

I picked one that had Brown hair, a nice thick ass, and ample chest. The problem is that most only speak French, which I don't.

Now here is where it gets expensive. If you don't have an apartment and you choose a hotel, you have to buy a room for the woman you bring in. From what I could kind of figure out it has something to do with the customs and religion. Well I wasn't going to rent another $120 a night room plus the $110 for the time with the girl. Now she was nice which made this a difficult choice, but in a impoverished place like this I wasn't going to spend that kind of money. I guess that is why I prefer Central America where they don't charge you for entertainment you bring to your room.

As far as I could see at this club they all appeared to be younger. Now that doesn't mean that they weren't there.

Sometimes the older ladies catch my eye, but on this particular night I didn't really see any.

Now that I know what to expect I will be prepared to take one of them back with me. I will take the advice and rent a flat, which would be better and cheaper than a hotel room.

The only exception that I forgot to mention was while I was inside the hotel at the Cas-Bar I saw a couple of women. One of them immediately got up and exchanged a hotel door card with a guy who just walked in. They left and took the elevator.

Now I trust my instincts and am almost 99% sure she was waiting for him. Since they just didn't seem to fit together as a couple and they didn't great each other like work associates.

I girl that I met in Casablanca had an ID. She gladly let me look at it, but to tell you the truth since I didn't take her because of the room issue I didn't really look for a year of birth.

I am sure it was there since I did see her name and an address. So my guess is if she was willing to let me look she wasn't trying to hide her age as I have found the under 18 ones will do.

The under 18 girls almost always lie, and it is funny that they all say I am 19 since they know that they look young and you are more likely to believe that number rather than one in their 20's.

Well I went to Agadir in christmas. Loads of girls about. Mcdonalds (beach side) has some stunners! Took a semi pro girl (bank cashier) back to the apartment. She did everything apart from BJ. I was in Casablanca last weekend. I was surprised how good the weather was. Casablanca is on the NW African coast. Its not sub-Sahara so, I assumed hot and arid. In truth, it was nearly perfect. It was warm with a cool breaze off the Atlantic. Nighttime was much cooler than the day making fro perfect prowling.

I have been traveling all over Europe to a different country every weekend. I wanted some variety and Casablanca is on my most curious list. I had almost no time to plan this trip so, I relied on what I already know. (Its never enough). I booked my flight and a hotel (Ajiad) where I thought the action I might like was. That was about the extent of my research. When deboarding the plane, I talked to a French expat (wearing a suit)) who'd been living in Casablanca for 3 years. Standing in line and never visiting Morocco before, I thought to myself: "Man, I lucked out! This guy must know everything." He told me that the Ajiad Hotel was in a bad spot and I should book Novotel. He said that there was no problems finding honest cabs and they would not try to take advantage of me (One tried and true International Warning), that I could only exchange money coming in from Morocco but, not leaving Morocco, and that it was guarranteeed I would get robbed if I carried anything while walking "The Streets".

First, I did not trust his taxi reassurance. I changed E200 at the airport, making sure I had small bills. Although several drivers came up to me and asked me if I needed a cab (Absolute Cab Warning 101), I then walked outside and looked for a cab in a line of cabs. They all scared the shit out of me. Assuming they would not speak English, I wrote "Novotel Hote" on a piece of paper and asked a driver if he knew the hotel. He said he did, I got into his cab, and then I asked how much to the hotel. He said 300 and I said, 250. He said no and I opened the door. He then said 250 was OK. I have no idea if 250 is good or bad but, that is what I was told everyone pays to the airport to town and back. Either way, its only 20-30 bucks and its a long ride to the city.

I checked into the Novotel. Here's what frosts me: Novotel is 4X more expensive than Ajiad. I have made it well known that I prefer black women and Ajiad was hosting a Senegal Party that weekend and it was filled with African babes. Ajiad is very close to Novotel. If one is in a bad neigborhood, they both are. Double-wide shit!

I did not take pics of Casablanca because I was worried I would get "rolled". I never underestimate pick pockets. I feel I am very good at noticing when I might be "a mark" but, I never forget that can always be humbled. The paranoid ruined my ability to "Let it go."

Finally, I was able to exchange money back into Euros at the airport. Slam dunk on the expat's advice.

One consolation is that when in the Novotal bar, I met an Italian guy who was the funnest travel partner I've had since I spent 2001 New Years in Cebu. Together, we went to Calypso bar and we stalked out some serious girls.

Although these women are beautiful in every word of the extreme, they are by far the hardest corps of ho's God ever made and I ever saw (I think I've seen all of them). Their beautiful eyes are always looking around, even when they have a John on board. Anyone that says that they show up in perfect cut shape, dressed to the nines, and has perfect dance moves really has no idea he's in Casablanca and is telling you stories. I don't claim to be an expert of Morocco but, I absolutely understand this game. They will leave you completely devoid of any pleasure because its like having sex with a cold brick. However, one must speak French to talk to some real true beauties who are not in this class.

My Italian friend and I split ways when I discovered there was a black club across the road from Calypso down next to the beach. I don't care what the name was but, it was downstairs. I was dead tired. (I travelled with a horrible hangover from my going away party in Germany... Coming back to Detroit). Worse, I don't speak French so, the women were suspicious of talking to me... If they don't know what you are saying, they assume the worst. Remember, when Africans are with their friends, white men are seen as guys with bad intent only. Also, not all Africans are pros so, one can't assume they all are. So, the scene must be "worked." However, if you have a "Its 3 am and I have a sad-scowl from no sleep look" on your face; there's no way you make friends. Finally, at 6 am, I got a couple numbers but, it was more than time to crash at the Novotel... (Imagine what it would've been like at Ajiad?).

Almost all taxis asked me if I wanted a woman... (In fact, every taxi in every city of the world asks me that.) In Casa, when I told them I only like black women, they all pretty much stated that blacks were all bad and they did not ask me anymore. Well, I know what I want and I just don't see me being interested in what they were offering so, I just took the high road and said that " Besides, I don't do that..."

Overall, Casa could be paradise if you speak French. The women and beaches are beautiful. I can't say the Muslim influence hampers the experience. I'm completely baffled how an expat (French nontheless) could be so clueless about such a fun destination.

Greetings fellow mongers,

First trip to Morocco accompanied by a friend. What can I say about Agadir. Fantastic weather, lovely beach, brilliant food, nice people and of course plenty of beautiful women to suit a variety of tastes! Stayed at the Ramada for a couple of nights until the apartment was eventually organised. Was probably the most difficult and time consuming task during trip, more difficult than picking up women! Will book in advance from home on my next trip. Anyway found a modern decent apartment with two bedrooms and two shower rooms about ten minutes taxi ride from Agadir beach in the area of Salam. Nice and safe neighbourhood containing all necessary facilities/amenities. Girls are more than happy to go in the same taxi with you to this area. Spent the first two days finding mongering spots and learning how to monger in this place! Wish I'd discovered ISG before going! Totally different approach from say Pattaya or any other mongering destination. Firstly, the main problem is the language barrier. With Arabic as the main language and French being the second the majority of the population don't speak english; however english is spoken throughout the tourist area in hotels, restaurants and cafes. Secondly being an islamic country much discretion and tact is required when mongering with potential prey in public especially if the girl is local. I found that behaving in a respectful and calm manner without appearing too enthusiastic will get you more results and interest from women in public places. Of course in the discotheques and nightclubs the atmosphere is more relaxed and open.

Okay, enough of the boring text and time for some facts. Friend made contact with a girl on the internet prior to arrival in Agadir. She arrived on our third day and after spending some time with her on the beach he done the deal with her to spend the night. Day 4

Travel companion decided he wanted to spend more time with his internet friend. Phoned yesterdays hottie to come out and play but she was on her way to Casablanca for a family funeral, damn! Next stop was Flamingo, again nothing exciting and so decided to call it a night.

Day 5

Day 6

Slept for most of the day. Got ready and went to the seafood place again for dinner. After a short walk jumped in a taxi and off to the main boulevard 20 Aout. If you can manage the above than it will definitely be at the top of your mongering destinations, unless you only have an appetite for nordic or caucasian blondes!

Late September I'm going to be in Marrakech and Agadir. I'm still looking for an apartment but it's a difficult task, especially if you literally can't see the place. But I want to hit the ground running to I'll want to be sure to have something arranged.

On getting an apartment these are a few things you (me) will need to take in consideration:
Don't take one in the the city centre, take one outside the centre or even better a villa (if you can afford it)
Make sure you confirm with the owner that you can bring visitors over. Making this clear when you get there as well before paying would be a smart idea.

Perhaps I will see one of you passing by ;)
