I just returned from Marrakesh. No P4P for me but some general info. Weather during the day perfect. Cold at night. Guests are definitely not allowed in the hotel rooms. My friends (girls) were staying at one of the best hotels (same hotel as theatro) and they pretty much refused to let me go to their room. After a lot of argument and saying how ridiculous they let me in.

Sun / Tues Theatro was packed as was Paradise. Monday we went to Paradise and it was dead. Maybe 5 people in all (we went from 1-4am). Cover charge was between 200-250 dharms (wow! That's expensive. Almost 25 euros).

For my taste, I have never ever seen more beautiful women in the world. Since I knew costs were high I did not indulge in P4P nor stay in a place that is P4P friendly. Some of my other guy friends rented apartments for a week and they slipped 100 dharms to security guard (cmon that is ridiculously expensive. It's 10 Euros!). They were paying anything from 400 (short time) to 800 / night. Think one of them paid 1600 for an absolute gorgeous drop dead stunner. Some even got freebies as theyhe had been there 3 times in previous years.

It's not allowed to bring girls back to hotels, even the 5* hotels. The problem is that by law, people that are not married cannot sleep together and everyone that stays in a hotel has to be registered with the police. However, if you rent an apartment you can get around this problem.

I am from UK but I'm living in Marrakech so apart from helping out with accomodation I can also give advice about places to go out, etc, and I speak French, Spanish and some Moroccan Arabic. In my opinion the best places are Paradise and Teatro (especially on lady's night on Tuesday and Wednesday). African Chic is also pretty good, and it has the advantage of being very nearby and having free entry (other places charge 200dh for entry including 1 drink).

Girls will generally ask for 1000-1500dh, but you can get most of them down to about 700/800dh. Whatever they ask for, they'll generally go for half. I know students that earn 150dh per week here, so this is more than what some people can expect to earn in a month. I would recommend never to pay more than 1000, there's really no need to as you can find very beatiful girls for this price. Some girls will go for as low as 400dh, but generally not the type of girls you'll meet in the discos as they are used to getting more and by the time they've gone out and spent money on taxis and getting into the disco etc they've made an investment that they want to recover.

It's important to understand that many of these girls will rob you if they get the chance, and some girls will come back to your place with the intention of robbing you rather than doing what they've agreed to. If you ever let 2 girls into your place at the same time you're going to get screwed and not in a fun way. You can bet that whilst one distracts you the other will be going through your stuff and then when you want to get rid of them, they might refuse to leave or start to smash up the apartment if you don't give them 1000dh each or whatever else they demand. Tell them to come alone (otherwise generally 2 will turn up) and be very careful about bringing the cheap, skanky girls you find in the cafés and around mcdonalds home with you as some of these women are extremely dangerous (even though they can be very beautiful and innocent looking). There's a reason why these one's can't get into the discos / bars.

Another scam to be aware of is girls that claim to be virgins, that insist that they want their friend to come along or that say "I'm not a working girl". All that means is that they'd rather not have to work for the money, and prefer to scam it out of you by leading you on and getting you to pay for things for them whilst giving nothing of any real value in return. If you ever meet a girl out, the moment you sit down with her she'll pick up the menu and order the most expensive thing on the menu, for her and for her ugly friend (they always bring along another one).

Others play a longer game. Pretending to be sweet and innocent and then telling you some sob sorry that involves them needing money for something. So avoid putting yourself in this position. If girls ask you to buy them drinks, pay for their taxi or go out together etc just make an excuse or pretend you can'd understand and walk away. They earn enough already! Make sure they do the work first, otherwise far from being grateful for anything you give them they'll think "aha, here's another sucker" and start to plan how else they can cheat you out of your money. It's always good idea to hide your money away, because if they notice you have lots of money in your wallet that makes you even more of a target. They'll notice if you have a very expensive phone / clothes etc and that's generally not a good thing. That will make them think that you probably have more expensive stuff at the apartment for them to steal. The best way to look is a bit rough, like you know your way around and have connections here. Don't ever tell anyone this is your first time here, don't tell them your real name or where you live (in case they come asking for you). Think of fake info to give out before you leave. You can bet the names they give you are not their real names, either, of course.

If you take a taxi together with a girl at night, you're likely to get stopped by police and scammed out of 200dh. At night, the best option is "Taxi Vert", a company that charges 10dh + the fare on the meter, so generally around 30dh within Gueliz. Otherwise, it should cost 10dh within Gueliz and 15dh at night (of course, they'll try for double that). For anyone that is coming and wants to go out together, for 100dh / night I can show you how it works and translate / talk to the girls for you and I also have my list of trusted girls which I can put you in contact with. In any case I'm always up for meeting other guys and sharing experiences.

Hope this answers your question albeit indirectly.From my experience, being repeat customer of some Moroccon women helped me to get BBBJ, CIM and even Anal with little extra costs. I also know girls who will scam you for drinks all night at bar / club, ask to buy cigarettes on the way to the apartment and then try and drink your refrigeraor dry of beer very quckly. You just have to say to NO and they are OK with that. Be smart as other mongers have stated. You may not get all the first time but if you are nice to the woman, you'll get more next time.

I went to Essaouira for a change, since I was in Agadir for a couple of weeks and as Agadir got boring after a while. Essaouira was recommended to me a for its beauty (but not for its girls). Nevertheless, I went there (from Agadir 3h by bus. 50-60 drh) in the hope that sth will be found. I realised it's a great place to stay with your girlfriend but concerning action I was unable to find anything. However the details:

It was not possible to pick up a girl from the streets or from a cafe, as it is frequent in Agadir when you speak french as I do. They obviously didn't know that kind of game. So I tried my luck at a massage place (there are many of them) and asked the girl doing the massage if she does also supplement, but she told me firmly that such thing is forbidden. Bad luck as she was really cute. In another forum I read that there are supposed to be some hookers in a side street of the medina at night, but I couldn't find anything although I walked some very dingy streets. There are thousands of these side streets so I might have missed the one with the action. Since I went to Essaouira informed, I went also to the Hotel des Iles Bar near the beach and to Taros in the Medina where some girls are said to be found. On the days I was there, I recognized a few tourists but nothing that seemed available.

By the way, there are hotel touts at the bus station when you arrive. It's probably best to just leave them behind. On my way to the medina a boy talked to me and showed me round to a few nice places. Or just find them by yourself, its no magic at all. I was offered acceptable hotels and apartments from 150drh / night but finally decided to stay at a really nice, small medina style hotel for 300 drh / night. I had the impression that they were very relaxed about an unmarried couple sharing a room. In very contrast to Agadir.

Due to the lack of avaiable girls I went back to Agadir on the third day. Report on Agadir follows on another day.

After dumping my stuff in the appart, I went to Hassan II. After a while walking two girls looked at me and said hello when they passed. So I talked to them in an inconspicuous way by walking next to them. 10 min later they were in my appart. One of them slim, cute face brown skin, an 8, said she's from Kesh. Went to the bedroom with her while the other (not so my type) stayed in the living room watching TV. She was not pro but it was definitely not her first time either. She insisted on missionary and condoms and seemed to enjoy it a lot. It was a nice fuck for 300 drh. They had to go home for the night so exchanged phone numbers and they left. I met her later in the week again due to a lack of other options. Same procedure.

Looking back this was my lucky day. As it is mentioned in other reports you have to be very sensible and careful when approaching the girls in the street. You can't tell them apart from the ordinary girls by look. They show interest in talking to you and this is the only sign next to eye contact. Later in the week I met two other girls in the street who had shown positive signals but it took a while trying to make contact in an inconspicuous way which is not so easy in a busy street in daylight and me obviously looking like a foreigner. Unfortunately they didn't have time right then to come to my place. So we exchanged mobile phone numbers. But it turned out that they were not interested in meeting but only in getting my money by asking favours (mainly money for their or their friend's phone) as a condition for a meeting. Didn't see them again as I realised their game and didn't want to play for nothing. I have also spent a lot of time at the beach promenade but all I met during the time I was there was one girl (a 7). She wanted to go shopping with me and found a dress for which she haggled down the price a fixed price shop which was sort of funny. Finally back at my place it was a very mediocre experience. Although she was somehow cute I sent her away after that. Summarising, I had very low success with Street mongering in Agadir. 5 girls of which 3 were cute. 2 fucks and a lot of time spent in the streets of Agadir.

I also went to a Hotel with a Hamam where additional services were said to be available, but I was told the Hamam girl was on holidays so no hamam possible.

I'm not the night club type as 2 am is normally too late for me for picking up girls. But as the other options were harder than thought, I tried Actors. Almost no one there except for a group of young Europeans girls and boys dancing and partying. And the bouncers. Tried Pacha on another night. There were 5 guests as far as I could tell at 3 or 4 am. 3 hookers. 1 guy and me. One of the girls invited me to their table (80 drh! For a coke, its cheaper in Europe.) and soon after I payed the bouncer his 100 drh when leaving. 100 drh for the girl's personal taxi and 300 (or was it 400?) drh for the lay. In the disco she said she stays until 8 am but called her taxi to pick her up soon after the deed was done. For a pro she was surprisingly eager (or a good actor). She insisted on condoms, no anal possible. A nice fuck with a not so nice girl (maybe 6. 5) and too high a damage.

I also met a Moroccan guy who later turned out to be gay since he wanted me to enjoy his Beber massage. He was very clingy since not even showing him my girlfriend turned him away.

There were some other experiences also with these guys talking to you in the street and offering you everything from souvenirs, to massage, berber spice and tea and alos the best girls. I tried it more than once and it was always a waste of time and money.

Okay maybe to summarise a bit my experience. Without French language you will have a hard time outside the most touristy spots, since very few Moroccan (and also French) people speak English or German. Picking up street girls is hard and seems to also depend on luck. Without French you can forget that. Night club are probably the surest bet (and for non French speakers the only one) , but it comes with a higher damage since everybody involved asks for his share.

Apart from that Agadir s a good place to hang out on the beach, enjoying the sun and do nothing (there is nothing else to do). If your main goal is mongering, then there are better places in my opinion. When it comes to food Agadir is famous for its restaurant all serving the same stuff and / or a lot of junk / fast food available. The restaurants are very hit or miss. Tajine was usually my best and safest bet.

I spent one day in Essauira and stayed in a Riad inside the Medina. Quite agree that the mongering scene may be difficult but I did not do any hunting. It was purely sight seeing visit. There has to be women there somewhere. I am not too sure about them allowing unmarried couples to stay together there even though it is a hippy type place. I know of a monger who tooK a woman from Agadir to Essaouira and they had to get two rooms. The Riad I stayed at was owned by a young Moroccon and maybe he may allow it. He was quite pleasant and his French girlfriend stayed with him.

I was in Plaza (the area next to McDonalds) in the Gueliz area of Marrakech yesterday and had an interesting experience that I think you guys should know about. Just outside Mcdonalds a guy going by the name Kamal approached me speaking English and asked where I was from, so I played dumb and told him a random name and said I was from Colombia. He then started speaking Spanish, and asked me if I wanted apartments or girls so I said I had an apartment but I might be interested in the girls. He said he knew all of the girls around here, that they worked for him, and that if I told him which one I wanted he would get them to speak to me. So I pointed to a couple of girls that were walking past and he told me to wait whilst he went to talk to them. Then he waved me over and we sat down with the girls on a bench.

They were two pretty young girls and it looked to me like he didn't know them, he'd just approached them and started talking with them which I could have done myself. He asked me (in Spanish) how much I would pay and I said 700dh (I normally say this price when I'm not really interested but I want to know their price). The girls understood that I was saying 700dh as I said it in French as well and started to reply to him "700dh, no, it's not enough". Then he spoke to the girls and said in Moroccan arabic what I understood as "2000dh. Look, both of you go with him, and once you are in his apartment you don't have to do anything, just make a scene and demand 1000dh each. He will have to pay you." So I repeated, in French this time (although he tried to get me to speak in Spanish)"I'm only going to pay 700dh and I want to be sure that they understand that" and I asked him to explain that to them and I listened very carefully to what he said in arabic. And I heard again "you go together. Make a problem. You take 2000dh".

So obviously I got the hell out of there, but be warned. If you are approached by a guy speaking English / French / Spanish called Kamal that hangs around Mcdonalds, know that this guy is bad news. And once again don't take girls in pairs, don't ever let a girl come round with her friend because that is asking for trouble. If you speak any arabic at all, I would highly recommend keeping that to yourself and listening to what people are saying to their friends / on the phone because they'll often reveal their true intentions this way. They'll smile nicely at you and then say something like "let's go and rob this idiot" for example. Be real careful when leaving club (and casino) Teatro in the middle of the night or when the club closes. There's a gang of kids who are all thieves that all try to sell you a small flower they carry in their hands. While you are walking outside and trying to negotiate a taxi 3-4 of them will pat down your pockets, they are real skillful at doing that. I saw them pick guys wallet. But if people go throwing money around like that, and the hustlers of tanger get the hang of it, someday it will be more expensive than Dubai! Although that 555 is bad news, I've been there a few times, the 555 is only good for clubbing. Actually, that 555 is a rip-off joint, you belive a small bottle of mineral water costs 100 DHs there? :P much more than in any disco in france! There are much better ways to get girls for 500/700 DH max a night in tanger than to get them from the 555. Plus, I never got envolved with hotels in morocco, the whole thing seems like a nightmare the way I see it. I always use apartments, and the apartments should always be in descrete places.

Marrakech nightlife:

African Chic. Good from midnight until 2am, free entry, some very pretty girls but be careful as most of them are theives (they'll scam you for drinks, refuse to give their number and perhaps either tip off the police or take your money and refuse to put out). This place is fun for warming up, having a drink and getting some numbers (those that aren't just scammers will give them to you) but extreme caution is advised.

Montecristo. Good from 11pm to 3am, free entry, very beautiful but expensive girls.

Teatro. The best disco, good from 1am to 5am, entrance 200dh, free for girls on ladies night (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Silver. Smaller than Teatro and nearby, also 200dh.

Paradise. Full of hard core pros, entrance 200-250dh depending on day, don't go before 2:30am otherwise you'll be one of the only 3 people there (and the other two will be guys).

Taxis.

The correct prices are: 10dh during the day. 20dh at night. Anyone that asks for more than that is ripping you off. The taxis waiting outside the airport and outside nightclubs will rip you off and ask for at least double that. I've heard of people paying 50, 100 or even 200dh for a journey that should cost 20dh. It's far better to walk a bit to the main road and flag down a taxi that is passing (anyone that is stopped and hanging around outside a certain location is bad news) than deal with the scrum of theives outside the clubs. If you want to go somewhere at night with a girl, don't take the same taxi because the police might stop you and want a bribe (don't panic. 100-200dh is the going rate).

Checked into the MOVENPICK Hotel in Tangier; after dinner and RTFF I headed to Disco 555 arriving around 11pm.

I was surprised that the disco was completely empty and was escorted to the lounge / restaurant that was busy but mainly with men so I decided to step out and check the action in the other spots. I walked into a couple of places and the scene was the same but the quality of the places was less so I decided to return to 555...The security and front desk people earn aroun 1200Dh-2400Dh a month so a 200 Dh bribe is more than adequate.

I recommend putting 95% of your loot in your sock / shoe and keeping 4x100 Dirham notes in either pocket. Then when confronted show you only have a little money.

latest taxi scam: extorsion.

there is a new scam going on with taxis in marrakech. the taxis outside montecristo, african chic, silver and paradise will take you and the girl, but once they get to your apartment they'll demand 200dh or threaten to call the police (extorsion basically). another reason never to take a taxi with a girl. this is totally avoidable by not putting yourself into this situation. take separate taxis, but don't be obvious about it (taking two taxis travelling in a convoy from right outside the club at 3am is totally obvious to the police and anyone else that sees you doing it). take a taxi home, and give the girl your address so she can take a taxi she trusts 5-10minutes later. the price for a taxi at night should be 20dh, which you can get if you flag down a taxi on a main road away from all of the theives waiting outside the clubs. the most i ever pay is 30dh if there are 3 guys. another good idea is if you find a taxi that doesn't cheat you and takes you somewhere at night for 20/30dh, get their telephone number and later call them to pick you up (you'll pay a bit more, maybe 40dh or so at night then). from the airport to the city, the official (and already twice the meter fare) is 70dh to gueliz / old town, and 100dh at night. it's best to walk across the car park and take a taxi from near the roundabout rather than deal with the group of theives that are waiting together to ambush you as you come out of the terminal (don't be scared, just ignore them and walk across the car park to find a taxi somewhere else). there is also an airport bus, which if you are alone can save you a lot of money and hastle (it costs only 30dh).

tips for choosing a girl:

when choosing a girl it's best to be patient and watch carefully both how she behaves with you and with other people. pay a lot of attention to the expression on her face and watch the signals she makes to other girls. even if i'm paying, i like to only deal with girls that are excited about the idea of sleeping with me. by now i can normally tell. it's written on her face and in the way she interacts with me. if i touch her and she moves away. bad sign. if she keeps looking around the room while i'm talking to her, walks away to talk to someone else, is impatient, rude or unfriendly at any point or won't go with me for a bit less than her normal price etc then i know she's not worthwhile. sex isn't any fun with someone that just wants to get it over with as quickly as possible. the type of girls i like are the one's that make eye contact, that remember who i am the second time i see them and want to talk to me even if i didn't take them home last time, etc. you have to also watch the way they interact with other pople, and notice if they treat everyone the same or if they treat you differently. notice where they are looking, who are they looking at and what's the expression on their face, as well as how much effort they put into the conversation. tell them no or offer a very low price and see how they react to that. do they become rude, cold, or agressive (which is perhaps their true nature)? you can always come back later, as long as you take their number. notice who they are with and how their friends behave. that will also give you a clue as to the kind of person they are. look up and learn to recognise the " facial expression for contempt" as well as "disgust" and if you see either of those on a girls face. ditch her! every time i've had trouble with girls it's been with girls that had this expression on their face at some point during our first conversation (since i started paying attention to these things i've had no trouble with girls at all).

don't just look at the girls. look at the other customers as well, and notice how the girls look at them. that way you can see what they're looking for. i've come to realise that extremely low intelligence is also a warning sign for potential trouble. hos are generally not the smartest people you'll come across in life and they tend to be fairly dumb whilst thinking that they are very clever, but think about this: the type of people that steal and are dishonest can make a lot of money in the short time (tonight) , but in the long time all of the crazy and stupid one's i've known have ended up getting arrested and beaten up by the police, hurt by unhappy customers, and either driven out of town or put into jail. at the very least they won't get any return business (which is safer for them, and they don't have to invest in going out and spending money on taxis, drinks etc whilst risking coming home empty handed) and they won't get any tips or favours or guys wanting to take them travelling. so if you can find a girl that is at least relatively intelligent (i. e. if it almost feels like talking a normal person) then she is likely to know this and not be pulling all of these stupid moves which in the long term are going to end badly for her.

if they say "buy me a drink / cigarettes / laptop computer" etc just say "i don't have any money with me", and if they go away at that point then good riddance. some of them earn 2000dh / night, so they can pay for their own drinks. hos almost always come in pairs, so if you do want to take one back you first need to ditch the "cousin" or "sister" or whatever she's pretending to be. the way i do this is by saying that the security at my apartment only won't let more than one girl in. ask to see their i'd card to check if they are **** (really you want to see if they have one, and you want to know their real name and not the fake they give out so that if they do rob someone the guy can't find them (sara and fatima zara are the most common). take a photo with your phone of the i'd card and whatsapp it to a friend and let them know that you're doing this "as a precaution". all of this makes them much less likely to try to rob you or cause a scene because it puts them in a weaker situation and they realise that robbing you could have consequences. you can also give a warning of the type "this is how much i will pay, i don't have any more money and if you cause any trouble i'll just call my friends and they'll make sure you end up in jail. i'm warning you now, because you really don't want to meet my friends".

no-one should be scared to come to marrakech. the girls here really are some of the most beautiful in the world and they can be a lot of fun. but everyone should be cautious, make sure you know about the scams and take steps to avoid them (mainly knowing where not to go and who not to trust). if anyone wants any help or advice, i'm always happy to give it and share experiences with other mongers, give the standard warnings and go out together, and i can also help you find an apartment (see my previous posts for info about that).

i paid 1400 dirham with a 50 dh extra for his nice recommendation. our journey started nicely. romantic views through the window, moon and stars ahead, the coast rushing by. holding hands, some little more, but not too much as the apartment could not be locked (of course).

i remembered a traveler hotel 'la toulousian' in marrakech and i had thought that's a place to start to get our 2 rooms. once i hear that if a girl has its i'd card with a residence in another town, she has a right to be accommodated. well far off. the receptionist's face got hard when he saw us and denied my request for 2 rooms:

'nous sommes tous complet – we are fully booked! '

'up to when? ' i asked back.

'all the time', i asked him to sit down my girl with our luggage, he reluctantly admitted. i continued the streets and arrived a large complex 'boston hotel' but no entrance was visible. i approached a man with greasy face pushing his motobecane moto, he instantly explained he is a teacher in the building next. he was delighted to have a conversation with me.

'this hotel don't go, you will regret it', was his warning.

'why? '

'noisy nightclub downstairs, and some other things also! ' he replied. 'are you alone? ' he continued.

'la femme maroccaine, see'est la mort- woman from morocco means death! the worse on earth. you are crazy! ' he threatened. i left him quickly after revealing this unpleasant message. actually there was no entrance for the hotel because it was closed.

continued the 'hotel franco-belge'. a simple place i stayed some years before. the hotel did not exist anymore, trucks for a new construction were busy coming and going at this place.

i arrived at 'hotel de voyageur', a simple place i stayed before too. its run by an old and religious lady, but she knew me. that's what is counting in maroc. a receptionist said yes he has 2 rooms. 170dh each. when he saw the i'd card i presented, he changed his mind and said he has to ask permission from the owner, but she is not here'.

my bad mood started to get worse, i got even the idea to take the night train back to tanger were we had our apartment. i continued to a lousy place called 'hotel oasis'. a sleepy guy showed me the apartment like rooms. 350dh each. when he saw the i'd from my girl he changed his mind, 'you better go to a hotel! '

tried 'hotel el hamra'. we agreed for 2 rooms. when the receptionist hears that one of us was moroccan, he consulted his colleague and the other said 'we are expecting a football group who took the whole hotel, sorry'. what a ridiculer excuse. bloody liars i said to myself!

i arrived at a more expensive hotel. two girls with a veil (hijaab) worked at the reception. two rooms à 500da were available and when i presented the girls i'd card, the receptionist did not pose any question. i got the room on the 4th floor. the other room was 1st floor. i asked for a room at the same floor? 'we don't have'. for a little second i got suspicious, but i got accommodation, that what counted. i fetched my girl, she was worried i let her alone for more than an hour at the 1st place. we checked in, an unpleasant room boy (well he was already about 60 years old) spoke to her in arabic. later she told me he told her never to come to my room on 4th floor. later i knocked at my girls room, the unpleasant room boy instantly approached and watched me talking to my girl at her door. forget it.

in the afternoon i passed the railway station to find our tickets back for next evening! let's leave this impossible place. just for curiosity i asked at another reception of a hotel nearby the station, a clean modern new hotel. i stayed in this hotel for a night before. i explained the case, our bad experience in the hotel. he laughs, not in our place, you check in, you get rooms in same floor, you can do whatever you want. 800dh per room, yes we have two last rooms left. this idea inspired me. what to do with the train tickets i already bought? i needed some time to think about it. i took my cute girl and we showed up at the reception to book. ups weekend, the last room was gone. he asked for my fon number, to call me if there is any cancellation of room? of course he did not call. but still the last event was at least kind of refreshing after all this bullshit.

Agadir is Not as in your face as Marakech IMO.

Its not as busier but equally as easier to pick up girls.
girls are friendlier.

Usual sports such as mcdonalds or cafes (dolce cafe on the marina)

Night spots arent as many but equally lots of talent at the few places.

Such as Zanzibar, Skybar and sol for bars and early drinks,

Late spots are Sofitel, Actors, Papagayo, Atlantic.

I am visiting Agadir on 19th August for 1 week with two other friends for the purposes of sunbathing, drinking and mongering. Although this part of the world never occurred to me as being a good spot for this type of activity my friends had heard very good things about Agadir and the quality of the women.

We have not yet booked any apartments and would like some recommendations from previous visitors that will alllow hassle free entrance for the women. Our intention was to rent an apartment that accommodates 3 people thus allowing us to be in the same space for added safety however would this be an issue. The idea of having three women also in the same apartment seems a bad decision after reading some posts about never have more than one with you at a time.

What I would really appreciate is some advice from somone who knows the places to go and avoid and best place to stay for our intended activities. Along with any personal recommendations.

Also would it be a good idea to get a cheaper phone for the holiday only as to not have my more expensive one stolen along with a local sim card number? I had problems with just one girl in Agadir as she was very europeanised and pro as she was married o a German guy but still having sex in Agadir. Overall, WGs in Agadir are pleasant and you can have a lot of fun. The responsibility lies with you to make the apartment WG safe. Most apartments, you have to pay the security about 100 DHM for the trip. If there is a new person, you pay that person too. I did not find police anywhere, let alone them screw me. Most women are in bars and clubs and they to clubs around 1. 00 AM. Heard about women being at McDonalds but must be later in the evening. Don't be afraid. It is a lot easier than a lot of many countries. Berber women are fun.

I got a sim card for my phone by a guy buy the big souk and he is by the entrance number 12, outside on the street. Walk down that road and you'll see this small store. Nice guy.

When I said that Agadir is not as bad as Marac, I meant in the stealing part and setting up guys to be robbed or to be bribed. I did not find that in Agadir.

Majority of the Moroccan women are from the Berber tribe. Hence used that label loosely to describe majority of the Moroccan women.

Next, in my report, I met a lot prettier women in Casa and Marac than in Agadir. But there are a lot of women in Agadir and you will find jewels.

If you look at Spain, Portugal and also Morocco, the further you go north, the civilization changes and the women become lighter skinned too as you go North. That is from the breeding from the Europeans in the early days.

I was in Agadir some time before the Ramadan started off. The sun was strong (all English tourists turned red after one day.). Surprisingly since it was not hot at all. I got myself quite a sunburn on my neck. A lot of Moroccan tourist families however liked the comparable pleasant temperature levels and came down from really hot Kesh to flood Agadir with their presence.

As it has been mentioned on this board it is easy to pick up girls in the discos. The best were in my opinion:

- Factory (small but always people there after 1 am)

- Papagayo (don't come early)

- So (Disco at Sofitel, I was told it's good, but never made it there)

- Piano Bar (closes early, sth like 1 am)

Real beauties (in my opinion) are rare in the discos but can be found sometimes. If you take them home the usual procedure applies. Doorman, taxi, one shag, she has to go home 'cause her mother whatever. Enjoy your time in the disco with the girl (s) , take the one you like home late at night, don't pay more than 500 dh.

The good thing about Moroccan woman is, they are normally open to talking to a male stranger when he seems to be nice. I talked up some girls in the evening at the promenade. So it happened that I met some girls who wanted to marry me. But not come to my place. I talked to girls who came with their family from Kesh and I ended up having dinner with the whole family but no girl at my place. I also had some encounters with male Moroccans. In summary interesting experiences nevertheless.

Once in a while I happened to come across street walkers at night. The ones doing that are the opposite of beautiful in my experience, but might do for a cheap and quick shag.

Hassan II had almost no girls available this time. I think in summer it's not the best place as there are too many moroccan tourists around and the students have gone home to their families for the holidays. The same was true for the two McDonalds. I visited them a couple of times but only once I had the impression that two girls were available. The places were always busy with families on holidays. Once I met three girls (I thought were available) of whom only one spoke decent English and she was married. In the end they drove me home in their car and I called it a night.

I went also to the Souk. For buying some stuff and eating the best fish tajine (porte 7, if I remember right). For me it worked better to buy where the prices are fixed. It results in better prices and is less time consuming and irritating. However, it's also less of an experience.

Wrong. Tanger is not that expensive. In fact, much less expensive than marrakech (the real tourist hole). But if people go throwing money around like that, and the hustlers of tanger get the hang of it, someday it will be more expensive than Dubai! Sorry ready for option I was meaning to leave to review for you but I got caught up in work. We stayed with ready for option in May 2013. There was a party of three, all inexperienced mongers, we were only staying for three days and unsure about how to make the most of our time here especially in such an amount short time. I came across this forum and read all of ready for options advice on the forum and we felt very comfortable with him.

Anyways we booked our flights and organised our apartment via him which I have to say was pretty amazing near all the action on the main strip and very well equipped for the western traveller with all the mod cons.

The whole experience with ready for option was top notch, it was more of a mix of concierge followed by a mixed of friend by the end of the holiday.

He met us at the airport and checked us into our apartment. We were all put at ease as soon as we meet him, he is such as laid back easy going kind of guy. On the first night we went out to a cabaret was which was out of this world something which I have never experience before and I recommend it to anyone.

I don't think ready for option was quite prepared for our level of mongering when we arrived. By the second night he was fully prepared and we mongered non-stop. He was amazing and invaluable especially as we had no grasp of the local culture or languages. He even took us out on a crawl outside of his selected girls where as you know he pretty much every girl is working as long as you know how to approach them. He was a magician we simply pointed out who we liked and next thing you know ready for option already had their number ready for action later on that night. Something which we would have never been able to do on our own.

Outside of catering to our every mongering need ready for option was really cool we spent every day with him either enjoying a bottle of liquor, eating out with him, or enjoying the local markets where bargains were to be had. Honestly he was like the fourth friend by the end of the holiday.

All the girls he provided were top notch and we could not have asked for more. Service was A++ which we have never experienced travelling in Europe or domestically a true GFE experience. We had laughs and jokes with all of the girls as well as good service.

Hey Marco Paulo, anyway you could give some numbers to get guest friendly appartments in Tangier? (without a concierge or with a concierge that is willing to let you come in with a girl).There are no guest friendly apartments in Tanger, nor in the whole of Morocco. Plus, every apartment building has a concierge. But don't let that stop you from having fun. Just be descreet. And about the concierge, since I only bring girls back to the apartment late at night, I never really bumped into the concierge at all. All the times I came home with a girl, he was nowhere to be seen. LOL normally, at night the concierge is sleeping away somewhere, so he shouldn't be a bother. If by some dumb luck, you bump into him in the middle of the night, just tip him around 50 dirhams, and he surely won't bother you. I don't have any phone numbers of apartment owners, but I usually search for vacation rentals on the internet, and if the apartment owner answers my mail, I book with him (never mention bringing girls to the apartment, to him). Or else, you just look around the apartment blocks, the area close to the beach and nightclubs should be more convinient, just try to find the concierge of the building you like, and ask him if he knows anybody who has an apartment for rent, he'll probably call the owner of an apartment in the building, then you set up the price with the apartment owner. Never pay more than 50 euros a day for an apartment rental, actually even 50 euros a day is a steal, in my country you could rent a vila with swimming pool for that amount.

In Marakesh there is a loads of bitches and you find them in cabarets-actually there are only bitches because girls who practice do not go out at night!

ThanksBest way is to rent an appartment not far from girls spots, gueliz in marrakech for exemple.

Other solution are massage center called SPA you have some like hanane spa, esthessimo, ablaa in marrakech and more price is generaly 200 for blowjob and 300to500 for sex but no bed in those place only hammam and massage table.

Fes is the worst place you can be for our all beloved hobby.

It is the moral capital of the country and if you stay in a hotel, you have almost no chance to invite any girl up in your room. Common Moroccan attitude.

Some advise:

Try to find a "chambre the'haute" outside the city. You might have luck that the owner will close an eye.

Even renting appartments which is a rather good alternative in other cities, is in Fez not straight forward. There are always guards.

I recommend going to Meknes, which is not that far from Fez by car (BTW driving in Morocco outside Casablanca is very easy.)

In Meknes, you sure find chambre the'haute in the medina where you can bring women.

I was reading someone's report below about their problems in Fez. It's not just Fez: this is the law in the whole of Morocco. You cannot stay in a hotel with a Moroccan girl unless you can prove that you are married. If a hotel breaks this rule it can be closed down and the owners / workers can go to jail. In any case Moroccan people love interfering in other people's lives more than anything else, so they will take great pleasure in stopping you and causing you difficulties if they see you walking around with a Moroccan girl and you're obviously a foreigner. If you want to stay with girl you need to rent an apartment, and not just any apartment as many will have neighbours / owners / security guards that will interfere (of course they'll take you're money upfront and then refuse to give it back). I have a lot of experience here and spend my time between Agadir and Marrakech so if you contact me before you come I'll be happy to show you around and give you the low down on the scene in either of these cities. In some previous posts you can see some of the warnings I've given about taxi scams and by the girls themselves. The main precautions to take are:

1. Never let more than one girl come back with you at the same time, even if they pretend to be sisters / cousins / best friends etc. Tell them security won't let more than one girl in.

2. Never take a taxi with a girl at night, as you will likely get stopped by the police and forced to pay a bribe (normally about 200dh) or extorted by the taxi driver (pay me 1000dh or I'll call the police and tell them you're with a girl).

3. Never take taxis from outside the clubs. They work with the police to scam tourists and will flash their lights at the police as they go past so that the police know to stop your car, or they will inform the police of your adress. Even if they don't, they tend to be nasty greedy people that will ask for 200dh for a journey that should cost 20dh at night. Instead, get the telephone number of the taxi that takes you there for 20dh and call him later to get him to pick you up (pay 50dh as he's picking you up). During the day time, taxis should cost only 10dh with the meter.

4. When arriving at Marrakech airport, ignore the taxis just outside the terminal asking for 100-150dh, walk across the car park and past the next mob of greedy theives asking for 60-100dh, and either wait for one to follow you out towards the roundabout and agree to 40-50dh or walk to the roundabout and catch one that is willing to switch on their meter. The fare should be 15-20dh. Or take the bus for 30dh and (if you need to) another taxi from where you get off for 10dh.

In Marrakech the main clubs to go out to at night are Teatro, Silver, and 555 (from 1am onwards, entry 200dh). The main bars to go to (from 11pm to 2am) are Montecristo, African Chic (but be careful. See previous posts about all the scams here) , and Le Comptoir. Earlier in the afternoon, from 6pm to 11pm you can go to Café Elite and Brasserie de Flores and a few other cafés around the pedestrianised area in Gueliz and you will see plenty of beautiful girls. Guys, I am senior member with long morocco experience and I an say it in one word : do not go to Morocco unless you want to over pay and get hassled to death by scammers (girls) and door keepers and police. In fact, I found that Moroccan girls working brothetls in Frankfurt area far more professional and honest. My last visit to morocco was for business trip to casa and it was awful. Went to 28 café and it is full of hardened pros and not cheap either it is like 100 EUR for 1 shut. MPs are also expensive and girls are rude and super greedy that is if you find one that give extras.

Turley, fly to Athens in Greece and have choice of 60 brothels in one place called Omonia square with super models from CIS for 20 EUR and it is standard. Straigt forward, no hassle no risk of being arrested or beaten. It is all legit.

Morocco has changed in a bad way. Prices are up and people became aggressive and rude. Also, no more they are looking for white guy who will take them to Europe, they know that this is not happening and now, they want Europe to come to them in the form EUROS. Lot lots of them.

It is a petty becaz when I use to go 15 years ago, it was like heaven. With all the extra cost such as bribes to police, taxis and watchmen of building plus girls fees which is expensive compared to level of service, it is by far not worth visiting anymore. Even for touristic reasons, it is an expensive country as prices are comparable to south spain while quality of services are far less.

Just check out Athens or even red light area in Frankfurt and do the math and soon you will find out that you are making big savings by staying away from morocco and guess what in RLD in Frankfurt there are Moroccan girls residents in these buildings with their Arabic name written on the doors. Just check the girl and if you like her. Go for it.

Anyway, last time I was in Morocco I was a regular at Paradise club and I'm looking for the equivalent in Agadir so any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm going with a couple of guys and we have rented a villa. I found the apartment business too much of a hassle. Yes it is easier than getting a girl into a hotel but tipping off the security guard every time I entered with a girl was getting on my nerves, especially since I was bringing back a couple of girls a day on some days adding 100dh to the bill each time. Also hired a car for the week so two less conmon to worry about, in my experience taxis and guards are the biggest expense after WGs in Morocco, take them out the picture if you can afford to. The initial outlay is a bit of a hit but it keeps costs more predictable and holidaying stress free, haggling with a Moroccan is no easy feat.

Anyway, things I am interested in:

There are p4p options in the hundreds every night of the week in Casa, especially at LA Fleurs and Pool Hall 28 or out at the Corniche in any bar especially Le Sky, Balcon 33 etc or try the Major hotels downtown. You will get 500 Dh trim at La Fleurs during the day and later at night at 28. Girls ask 1000 or nowadays 1500. Be almost rude, firm.

For anyone that is new to Morocco, the first thing that you need to know is that it is definitely not possible to take girls back to your hotel room. Gueliz is where the action is in Marrakech, whilst in Agadir it's centred around the beach and marina area. The scene starts in the afternoon with the cafés (from 5-9pm) , then the bars (11pm-2am) and finally the discos (1am-4am). It's best to avoid the main European holidays and peak periods, as at these times the prices go up very steeply due to supply and demand. It's also very difficult to find accomodation at a reasonable price during these times. Any Moroccan / religious holiday should be avoided, as these are dead periods when everything shuts down.

For taxis in Marrakech, you shouldn't be paying more than 10dh during the day and 20dh at night. The mob of drivers hanging around outside the clubs will ask for a lot more, but if you just stop a passing taxi on the main road and say "ashreen dirham" (20dh) you can avoid paying too much. The official price for the taxi from Marrakech airport is 60dh during the day, and 100dh at night (although again, they'll try to hustle you for as much as they can get).

It's very difficult to get into a Hotel with a girl, at least extra room need to be paid + some Hotels does not accept girls if the ID Card shows that she live in Agadir, so really complicated. Indeed, the best way is to rent an private apartment but you should be check beforehand if it is girl friendly.

I've gone ahead and booked the apartment in Marrakech, think I'll just win it for Agadir unless someone has a good lead. Not going back till September so plenty of time.

I thought I'd write a report of my last visit to Marrakech, which was last November.

We stayed at Corail Hotel, only a few mins walk from the railway station and 10 min walk from the Plaza (outside the big McDs). We had to get an extra room to bring back girls, which was 600MAD. Higher rate than what we paid for our own room.

In terms of action we didn't really look till our 4th day (out of 6). Unfortunately most girls don't speak much english, just french and arabic. We did meet a guy (his name was Faisal) who offered to introduce us to a couple of girls who spoke english, in return for 100MAD. Unfortunately the girls who turned up didn't speak any english, not even basic, tho they were very attractive so we figured we'll just go for it. The girl I was with called herself Malek ("Angel") , very attractive face, slim, fair skinned. Back to hotel, she wanted 1650MAD, ended up settling on 1200MAD, which is still a rip off but we'd already paid for the extra room and I was pretty horny by day 4. Well, I was disappointed, the sex was mechanical and she'd only do it doggy style. She did give uncovered BJ first but it was a pathetic effort on her part.

Next day neither of us was really in the mood, although quite a lot of hotties were walking around the plaza from 4pm onwards the fact that we'd have to fork out for another room made it not worth spending the money. We checked out Club 555 that night, was hard to say how many of the hotties there were working girls as most of them were in small groups and were mostly dancing and I was enjoying the atmosphere too much to care, but there were definitely some WGs around, sitting at the bar sipping drinks and not dancing at all, most of the girls' attention was on a large group of big spenders ordering bottle after bottle in the VIP area. Drinks were expensive. 100MAD for a red bull! The party didn't get into full swing till 2am but it was a great time.

If you just want a happy ending then thats dead easy in Marrakech. Go into any touristy hammam around the jemaa al Fna and if there's young, attractive girls giving massages to men then chances are they'll be willing to give a handjob as long as you give a good tip!

Hopefully now that I know the scheme better I'll have a better time when I go back. Definitely don't bother with any middle-men offering to introduce you to girls, since in my experience the "english speaking" girls he promised did not materialise, a better option would be just to chat to the girls walking around th plaza in the early evenings or the bars and clubs at night. That way you'll know which ones you can communicate with yourself and see if you get good vibes, and if all else fails you've got the hammams, least you'll get a good massage, handjob and for a much lower price!

This is my first post on ISG. Hope this will be usefull to you. I am French and I visited Morocco with some French / Moroccan friends so I was "helped" for our activity.

Day 1:

I arrived in the morning at the airport, my friend picked me up in his car and drove us to the villa he had previously booked. It was located in Gueliz, near the Montecristo, no housekeeper so we could bring girls easily. I had a nap in the afternoon then we had dinner at the Macdonald's of Gueliz which is a spot to find girls. However, when we were there, only families were eating. We then moved to the Montecristo. I noticed one or two girls. To find them, it is easy, they are usually alone with a chicha and smile if you stare at them. You can go talk to them. If they ask you if you stay alone, it is the sign she is willing to go with you. After that, you must negociate the price. Do not hesitate to ask her how much for the night and to specify your needs (for example, I Wanted 2-3 shots for the night and I wanted the girl to stay until 2 pm). You always have to negociate. All the girls usually ask 2000 drhs (approximately 200 euros) but this is way too expensive for the country, my morrocan friends told me for a tourist, 1000-1200 max is the right price (eventually 1500 if you think the girl is gorgeous) and I tryed to stick to that idea during the whole week. We left the Montecristo with no girls (they wanted 2000 drhs) and moved to the casino. We won money at the blackjack and we took a Magnum of Vodka at Theatro Club (it is under the casino). In that club, all the girls near the bar were hookers. I found a pretty one, 24 years old, negociated 1200 drhs (including her taxi). From my experience in Morocco, I would say that StackelBerg's experience as stated would be true about 70% of the time. The other 30% can be better or worse! Here a Frenchman who could communicate well in French had issues. I've been hounding around the Maghreb, mostly Morocco, for about five years and have decided to provide a field report. Moroccan intel is limited on ISG so I have always used the French language boards for my recon. Basically I'm in Morocco 10-15 times per year with stay duration of two to five days. My French is terrible; probably equivalent to a third grader, and Arabic is even worse. Since I'm in Morocco on work, 90% of my time has been in Casa, but have some limited experience in other spots. The rules are always the same.

This last trip I was only in for two days. As always, lodged at the Sheraton, which in Morocco is a five star hotel, but anywhere outside of the Maghreb it would be three stars max. Definitely dated but Casa hotels are expensive and generally crappy so options are limited. Below is the report:

Day 1: Hammam w / blast and Busty S / T.

I love a good hammam, especially when performed by a curvy 20-year-old Moroccan girl. There are good hammam spots all over and plenty that offer a happy ending or more. For my rub and tug I usually go to Ely Coiffure (EC) behind the Barcelo hotel. There are usually five girls with two hotties and the rest average. Prices are high but a happy ending is assured for a nominal tip.

This time I took hammam with a girl called Samiha (I think). Typical appearance for a Moroccan girl. Curvy with a little meat on the bones, but pretty face and nice eyes. Easy to get full service with this and usually cost 500 MAD.

For reference, at this place the tip depends on the girl. If you are clearly a tourist you will pay more so know that going in. From my experience here is the cost breakdown:

Basic HJ: This is guaranteed and all girls do this. Cost is 100 MAD max 200.

BBBJ: Not all but most provide this service. Cost is 200 MAD max 300. Usually CIM.

FS: Not all will do this. However, if they provide the b2 b massage it is almost a certainty. Prices vary greatly. Cost is usually 500 MAD. Some will insist on 700, which is total crap so avoid and go for BBBJ.

I normally don't go full service here. For me a nice scrub with a BBBJ works wonders in the afternoon. Also, it gets really busy at night so there is a wait and service tends to be rushed.

While the Sheraton is crappy overall, there is abundant p4 p action in the lobby, sports bar and especially nightclub. I had to work the next morning so the nightclub, which starts at 1 am, was out of the question. So I went to the sports bar around 11 pm and there were five or six girls. Two were absolutely stunning.

Bought my overpriced beer and scanned the room. Went to the girl with huge breasts, I think her name was Fatima. She spoke some English, which is a nice change. We agreed to 800 MAD for one hour, plus 100 MAD baksheesh for security. Before experienced guys gripe, I know this is above the market price but I will explain in more detail in the conclusions.

Planned on the hammam but it was busy so went with a normal massage. I was given an attractive, petite girl. She spoke zero English and limited French. Massage was total crap. Spent 30 minutes on my feet and calves. Gave a really lame HJ for 100 MAD. I know for a fact this place has better service but I was unlucky. One benefit is it is way less expensive than EC. The massage was like 150 MAD or something like that.

Conclusion. Not bad for a short trip. Nice Scrub with BBBJ, S / T with a busty Arab goddess and massage with happy ending all for about $200.

General Pointers.

By no means am I an expert on Morocco and there are plenty of people who could provide more insights. Since I'm a nice guy, and have benefited from others spending time reporting and sharing advice on ISG, I figured a few bullet point tips might be useful.

• It has been said a million times but it is by far the most important rule in Morocco. If you really want to enjoy your stay, you absolutely MUST RENT AN APARTMENT! They are available on the internet and are much cheaper than hotels. Not all apartments allow guests but most do. Don't be a cheap ass, just baksheesh the guard and it will limit risk. 50 MAD per night will do the trick. Guy probably makes that in a week.

•If, like in my case for this trip, you must stay at a hotel there are a few options. The best option is for the girl to baksheesh security for about $15. This works for S / T. For L / T you will most certainly be forced to get the girl a separate room, which makes it a total rip off. If you stay at a fleabag hotel, and there are plenty, this might be an option. However, if you stay at one of the few five star hotels it is not worth it.

•If your natural temperament is to be Mr. Nice Guy, I recommend leaving that shit at the airport on arrival. It does not work here. If you appear shy, nervous or intimidated, these girls will absolutely rip you off. Alternatively, if you appear in control and walk like you have a 12-inch cock, your experience will be better. Don't be afraid of being a dickhead, these girls are used to it since the majority of their customers are sexually repressed young Saudis.

•S / T fees are between 500 and 700. L / T is usually 1000 to 1200. Some people pay 1,500 for stunners but that seems unnecessary.

•There are some conservative elements in Morocco but it is fairly limited. Moroccans like to drink and fuck like anyone else. Often the 'conservative' (I. E. Police and hotels) elements are a farce and are only looking for baksheesh.

•You can baksheesh police. Not optimal but it is routinely done to get out of sticky situations.

•Go to café's in the evening for S / T around 5 pm, head to normal bars around 10 pm for a better selection, and go to nightclubs around 2 am for L / T. For me, nightclubs are not great because they start so late. Drinks are usually a total rip-off so avoid buying girls drinks. Any Moroccan girl at a bar or nightclub by herself past 10 pm is almost certainly pro or semi-pro.

•Morocco has absolutely sexy women and they tend to be kinky. Most will do BBBJ and anal. It's definitely not for me, and I don't recommend it, but BBFS is also very common. If you like big tits and a round ass you will like it here.

•Avoid the Moroccan male middleman. My experiences have always been negative with these guys. If at all possible, connect with a French expat from a forum as they are usually cool and willing to help out a visiting monger. By him a few beers and you will be golden.

•If you don't speak French or Arabic it will be a hellish challenge. You can get by, but be armed with a translation app on your phone when its time to get to the details. Otherwise, getting screwed is a guarantee and not in the way you expect.

•If you are new to mongering, Morocco is not for you. Go to an FKK or SE Asia. I have had some of my best but also worst experiences here.

Of course there are more nuances and a lot more to share but these are the basics. Get an apartment, be confident, and have fun. Overall, Morocco is a solid place but be prepared for some headaches during your visit. Lastly, check the French language boards for more details and than report back here after your experience so we can keep this thing updated and active. I'll try to do my part.

For mongering the most popular are Marrakesh and Agadir, but I personally like Casablanca since there are fewer tourists which seems to result in fewer scams. Of course there is not much else to do in Casa so Marrakesh is probably better for vacation. The Rabat scene is limited so I don't recommend going there. Avoid any major GCC holidays as they flock to Morocco to drink and screw. Prices go up significantly. Obviously don't come during Ramadan.

You have to rent an apartment since hotels are no dice. For the names of the clubs I recommend a solid RTFF of the previous 10 pages you will find what is needed.

Had some work in Casa but only one day available to play. Booked an apartment in the Maarif area, which is just a short drive to major hotels and bars near the Medina. The apartment was nice, but on a small side street so locating it was difficult. Most taxis had trouble as well. Easy to tip the guardian for evening access. Discretion is critical at this place but if you are respectful it is a good choice. I can share the details with senior members via PM.

As usual, an afternoon scrub and BBBJ to get the events started. Went to my favorite place, Ely near the Barcelo hotel. There were probably 10 girls sitting around having lunch and smoking cigs. Cost to enter was 40 MAD that includes a beverage. I always thought this was a pub but there is no alcohol served. Essentially, one big room with maybe 20 pool tables and seating around the counter and walls. Was hoping for a cold beer but had to settle with Red Bull and a cigar.

There were probably 10 girls and three mongers when I arrived at 1 am. The quality of girls was variable, maybe a couple 8's but also some older 4's. I was satisfied with what was available. I was the only non-Moroccan, and white guy, in the hall but the bouncers and servers were very welcoming to a new face. There were some absolutely massive boobs bouncing around. Observations:

• I would avoid Casa, probably all of Moroc, two weeks before and after Ramadan. It was very slow and the girls mentioned police were being more aggressive. Really the only time to avoid is that 45-day period every year.

As usual, rent an apartment, negotiate the price, and have fun. Morocco has numerous options available for entertainment; just know the rules going in.

First trip to Morocco, intent on uncovering the mongering scene. This ended up as a fascinating cultural discovery into a society full of contradictions. And four beautiful women in 3 days.

Day 1: Odyssey to the Calypso

Landed around lunchtime at Casablanca on a Thursday, right before Ramadhan. Only thing I had was an apartment reserved through Homeliday.com, a kind of craigslist for apartment rentals. I emailed several posts around downtown, the beach area ("corniche") and the new shopping area ("Maarif"). In my messages, I hinted at my intent: "does it have a discreet entrance". Eliminated right away several reproachful answers, and picked a place on Blvd d'Afan, North West of the downtown area, for 150 Euros for 3 nights.

Bought a bottle of booze at the airport, a SIM with plenty of minutes and internet for $15. Internet was damn slow wherever I went, though, no risk I would exhaust my bandwidth. Took a $40, forty minute taxi drive to the apartment, and started socializing with the guard at the building right away, offering cigarette and wondering how on earth Morocco didn't make it to the world cup.

Started with the upper room at La Chope. Scorcher75 had warned me this would be a slow week, being a few days before Ramadhan, and indeed the place only had a few older Moroccan couples. Stopped at countless pool places, caf, Moroccan cabaret and restaurants along the way, but no lady of the night. Actually no lady at all in most places. I did see a couple of streetwalkers, so dirty and filthy looking I would not have shared a taxi with them, let alone my bed.

Hit the corniche after midnight, starting with the Sky Disco, before the beach touristic zone really starts. Clearly a favorite for wealthy Moroccans, and many very fine young women. I will certainly come back during a longer trip, but not a mongering place.

Moved on westward, passed a few restaurant and Moroccan cabarets along the beach, all short on feminine charm, before hitting the Balcon 33, mentioned throughout Youppie.net as one of the key pick up places, especially late at night. There were indeed a few ladies clearly available along the bar, plus possibly a few sitting at tables. Some quite pretty, all of them well dressed and made up. Approached a tall, slim one with typical Arabic facial features and long straight hair. Invited her for a drink. All drinks cost $20, even her tea. I had the worst mojito of my life. Her French was correct but the conversations was hard to come somehow. After a while she asked for my plans. "It depends on your price", I answered. She said 3000 dirham ($400), clearly upset I had implied she was here for the money. That killed the little vibe that was going on and she bailed out minutes later without even finisher her overpriced tea.

It was 2 am when I left the Balcon 33, wondering if this trip was not going to be a failure. Resumed my walk westward along the beach, passed a couple more depressingly empty and loud bars, before hitting the Calypso, an often mentioned disco on the French board.

"That looks more like it!" I gasped the minute I stepped into the small disco. A dozen women having good time dancing and drinking, mostly late 20's and early 30's, most of them well dressed and made up, no ugly girl and a couple of them really cute. Punters were mostly Moroccans mixing French and Arabic, and a few western expatriates, mostly French. Went to talk to a few girls, all of them with basic French skills and clearly available, and focus on a tall, super slim, long haired brunette with an elegant outfit and an engaging smile. Offered her a drink, $15 soda, got a $15 whiskey coke, and started dancing with what was about to be my first Moroccan girlfriend. We agreed on 800 ($100) for the night. A short taxi ride later we were on front of my building. Went to open the door first. Bought a bottle of booze at the airport, a SIM with plenty of minutes and internet for $15. Internet was damn slow wherever I went, though, no risk I would exhaust my bandwidth. Took a $40, forty minute taxi drive to the apartment, and started socializing with the guard at the building right away, offering cigarette and wondering how on earth Morocco didn't make it to the world cup.

By 4 pm I was heading to the Place des Nations Unis, right in front of the fortified walls of the old Medina. I had written down a list of caf to meet local women, as per posts on Youppie.net. BTW. Calypso's sole purpose is mongering, indeed the ladies have to go to the disco at a certain time (forget if it is 11 or 12 pm) such that mongers are attracted to spend big $$$ on their way overpriced drinks, then you have to pay the 100 Dh exit fee for the girl to leave with you and then the taxi fees etc. This keeps the bar in profits and keep mongers happy and women in business in a relatively safe environment.

Hard to know for sure, but I honestly don't think being of Indian origin will make a big difference. I doubt any of the girls have experience with Indian guys unless they worked in UAE. As long as you are well groomed and have money it should be fine. I don't recommend going where the Gulf Arabs go because prices are higher.

For pricing Calypso should be 800 to 1200 MAD ($100 to $150) for LT. They will start at 2000 but obviously you negotiate way down. The hotel clubs will be more expensive, probably between 1200 and 1500. If you only speak English the hotels are a good option but otherwise I recommend skipping those. You can find hot trim all over Casablanca for 800 MAD. For sure don't pay over 1200.

Drinks are where the bars make money. Almost any beverage, even non-alcoholic, at a mongering club is $10 and up. If you are leaving one of the hotel clubs the taxi will try to scam 100 MAD, or about $12, but it should really only cost 20 MAD. Better off just paying it to avoid the risk of them screwing you over. Club exit at some places is 100 MAD but others there is no charge.

The girls are usually the least expensive part of mongering in Morocco. The other costs can accumulate pretty quickly, especially if you get suckered in to buying girls drinks. I have had bar bills double the cost of the girl.

Get an apartment, negotiate and enjoy.
