The scene in Dubai couldn't get any bigger! Even with the economy crashing in, these WG's still got to eat! Haha.
The advantage of all that is prices generally went down. A few years ago, you'd go to some of the hotels, lounge around in the dodgy bars and basically "shop" your way to a good time!

So, I've been spending alot of time doing some studyin for this certification exam I'm takin in a couple of weeks.

Egyptians are naturally curious and will not hesistate to ruin your life as a newcomer to their building. They may report you to the local authorities or even complain to the landlord if they feel you are only using your apartment for bringing girls even if they are not prostitutes. Of course, the best thing to do is try and befriend the landlord or doorkeeper / guard so it can be easier.
If you really want peace of mind you should perhaps consider renting a villa in the outskirts of Maadi or in 6th of October area, but they will set you at least around 7000 L. E. Per month, this way nobody will bother you.
