Another good tip, Bigmak, thanks. I called the number for Nadia Center the other day and the eponymous owner directed me to come to the Sherazad Hotel on the corniche in Agouza instead of the Midan Sphinx location. It was off for the whole week to Hurghada, stayed in the hotel by the Hard Rock Cafe, nice hotel, very family oriented. First couple of days, scoped out the hotel and the MP, nothing out of the ordinary. Just your typical hotel guests enjoying the sun and the beach with the MP giving legit service. Great service at that, but legit all the way.

Started checking out the cafes and bars in Hurghada, I must say that the town was kind of empty, most places had maimum 10 people in them, including Papas Bar and Papas Beach, Hard Rock and Buddha Bar was empty as well, I asked around for the reason why the town was empty, and the answer I got was that it's off season.

It was exactly as I suspected, the place was full with CIS WG and there was even a russian show going on. Very dark and sleazy, just my cup of tea.

Anyway, entrance is 80 L. E. With one drink thrown in. Got in and started checking out the place. Although it was more crowded than the other places, it was still kind of empty. Most CIS girls were sitting with someone already as I had arrived a little late, got a lot of smiles and a few looks anyway, but couldn't talk to them as they were busy already, the ones that were alone, either didn't want to talk or couldn't care less.

I approached this one girl, very tall, blonde and great body and face, asked her name, she gave a disgusted response and walked away.

That was it, I couldn't be bothered anymore and got out of there and back to the hotel. I guess with it being off season and the lack of CIS girls and others, demand is high now and they know it.

Calypso is highly recommended but go early and when its not off season which should be in July and give it a try, you should get lucky.

There are also some hotels in Hurghada that cater to russians, I have no idea what they are, but it should make it easier to find and talk to girls there.

Very nice discovery at Tehran Health Center, 15 Tehran Street, ground floor (sign visible from the street). It's off Mosadaq street in Dokki: going up, your turn left at Iben Sinai Hospital; go straight to Medan Tehran and then turn left on tehran street. The building is on the corner at your right.

How would you know he is trustworthy? Have you tried it yourself and what was the outcome?I am local here in Egypt and know what I am talking about. Have tried it many times and it works (although sometimes there are scams). Hard to find in Egypt I'm afraid. This isn't anything like Dubai here. No clubs in Heliopolis (unless you're after the crappy belly-dancing type). Actually, you can't "pick up" anywhere in this country. Forget any "outcall service" or brothels in a Muslim country.

However, I did have another look recently (today, in fact) at El Nasr Street (in front of Gracias) just off El Laselky Street in New Maadi. Found one mid-30s Chinese girl standing. Face was so-so but a welcome change in a country that is usually sexless. Unfortunately she got into someone else's car (an Egyptian in a Mercedes) before I could stop for her. Later did some other rounds in the same street and found three Egyptian girls (early 20's, veiled but extremely well-looking with killer bodies) walking together. Stopped for them, opened the car window to have a chat and confirmed they were working girls but they did not have their own place (they wanted 250 LE each + a roll of "hashish".- not that expensive really I would have taken them if I were not living with parents or had my own place). Remember in Egypt it is forbidden to bring girls into a hotel unless they are married to you.

The new trend here is housewives becoming part-time prostitutes in their little condos when the husband is out at work (usually morning and early-afternoon hours). The problem here though is these girls are usually at low-class neighbourhoods within Cairo so a foreigner going into these areas is very high-risk and would raise many eyebrows.

Just completed cairo visit. Did some homework before coming from Dubai, but found out not much result you can expect in Egypt. Not a friendly place to have sex. Still despite difficulties I managed to add something to my portfolio.

Arrived on Tuesday 29th July and checked in at Conrad hotel. Alot of security at the hotel and those chaps closely watch who is coming in and out of the hotel. Many friends said, don't even try to call a girl in this hotel. After checking in did walk around the hotel, saw in-house nightclub "Hot & Blue" in basement. Went to the entrance and asked the receptionist, he said entry fee is LE750 (US$ 140). What? It is more than any best clubs in Dubai. I asked him again, he said yes it is $140 or Euro 100 or LE 750. Felt bad and quietly returned to my room. Definitely not worth wasting this much money just to try to see whats inside. Ha. Found a contact on the internet, called him, some pimp I guess. He had a Labense girl and an Egyption girl. Quoting US$ 500 for a night. Again, can't bring here, you have to go to his apartment and aprtment charges are another $70. Again put the phone down.

Lastly found out that only thing that worked was this website I. E.

If you're local and have a bit of cash to spend why not take the daily Egypt Air flight to Bangkok for 3500 L.E. (Onward and Return). If Egyptian passport need VISA from Thai Embassy which is about 175 L.E. Not bad at all considering how heavily inflated - among other things - some of the ST prices are reaching here ($500 USD for an overnight fuck?! This is 5000x the national average salary!)

Or just stick to good old Maadi. Hahahaha...

I've been to Miss Egypt once, and had a good session (nice hj) with Wesam (not the one from Nile Gym). She was close to 40, and ok looking but not enough to bring me back. With the reports of new ladies I will definitely return.

The place is fairly easy to get to - it you are at the intersection of Tahrir Street and Dokki Street, with downtown to your back, make a left on Dokki Street and stay on the right side of the street. After a couple of blocks make a right onto Gaber St (after Subki Street). The building is on the left side of this street about a block or two down. It is a residential building with a staircase in the lobby; I haven't seen a sign for the place outside, but there is one next to the door of the flat housing the mp. The building has a sign for a hospital/diagnostic center; their entrance is on a side street (don't use that one), but it is the same building which may help locating it. Another easy way coming from Mohandessin: take Battal Abdel-Aziz street towards Dokki; after crossing the Dokki overpass take 2nd right; on Gaber Bin Hayyan street (as described by Caiguy)

Not a big report - just a couple of things.

In the time-honored tradition of Egypt trademark infringement, a new hotel has opened up in Mohandiseen next to the Nabila Hotel: the Holiday Express, which has also adopted the Holiday Inn Express chain's font style in their name as well. My old regular Wessam from Nile Gym (Manial, closed) told me that she was there when her mobile finally worked after several tries to reach her over the last month. The hotel is actually about to officially open in a week or two, but the health center has been running for a while. Rguy - The address (I forgot the street number) has been posted before, so a search of earlier reports will get it for you. But it is at the Behoos stop in Dokki, across from Magar brothers automobiles. Plenty of Egyptian guys know about this place, believe me - I've never seen another foreigner like me there. It is on the 15th floor, and the elevator operators (as well as local delivery guys) know all about it and the older one may ask for baksheesh!

I always though that the 5 star hotels would be easy to get a girl into, especially if she walked in separately, since I rarely see an elevator operator or a staff member near the elevator banks, the lobbies are so crowded, and there are so many legitimate reasons for a single woman to enter (restaurants/shops on the upper floors, etc.). I know my company pays about 1000 egp more a month in rent than the egyptian guy below me; taxis it's common, but hey, those are taxis. I once was chatting with a guy (American) who was telling about all the great places in Maadi to pick up girls. At the time i was staying in the semiramis - and he said it was easy to get to Maadi, a taxi only cost 60 egp! i just laughed.

Personally I think a girl can charge what she bloody wants, if some guys are willing to pay - power to her. Obviously the Gulfis seem willing and some Europeans. If others refuse maybe she will have to rethink her charges. Nagla's come down a bit from what she first asked me, I just have some other things going on so not interested at the moment. :D

As for the "professional" part - that is in contrast to the very unprofessional experience I had recently of a girl more interested in her phone than in being with me. If you are in downtown hotels, take taxi and ask them to take you for example to Maadi Grande Mall. These taxis from downtown don't know where it is, but they can find it in Maadi by asking police/other taxi drivers. Then you change to local Maadi taxi driver from the street and wait until you find somebody who knows these places. That is only way to find them if you are foreigner in the town.

Africana is in El Haram Street, which is in the Pyramids area of Cairo (any taxi driver in El Haram Street will know where Africana is). But for me as an Egyptian to just offer 500 LE to any girl walking the street would be an insult and I would risk getting slapped. As you know this is an Islamic and conservative country. Egyptian girls are different than, say, African. If you go to the right places where there are known to be Working Girls (i.e. Nasr Street/Laselky Street/El Haram/Some of the mentioned Bars and Pubs) you can do that to Egyptian girls (and for less than 500 LE)

I doubt City Stars has any extra service. The whole foundation is very legit and the owners of City Stars are an elitist Arab/Islamic group.

Other places to recommend? Head down to Maadi or read up on the different massage places in town -- but you'll be lucky to find extra services at this time of the year (it's Ramadan you see). Anyhow, the Marriot is next to all major hotels so there should be no problem getting there. Bringing a girl to your hotel should pose no problem if you take the necessary steps - do not walk in together and, if you ever get confronted, tip the guards 20 LE.

Getting to New Maadi from the Marriot will take about 40 minutes depending on traffic. You probably will not need an apartment or hotel because the girls have their own place also in Maadi (Chinese or African). If you want an Egyptian sharmuta you will need your own place of course.

I don’t share the current depression sweeping over the Cairo mongering front although I agree there are major shortcomings and as time goes on things haven’t improved.

On the street scene. Maadi kerb crawling in crazy traffic in the hope of spotting something attractive who will jump in your car isn't my idea of fun. Must admit I’ve never tried it but know the areas well and from what I’ve seen the odds are against a good find and don’t think it worth the effort.

As for the “massage parlours”, call me awkward but I can’t see the attraction of going through all the hit and miss palaver of finding some scruffy flat just to get a cheap HJ from some overweight Egyptian female. Apologies to those who like this sort of scene. To each their own.

My personal preference, and not without its faults is the Far East/Zen Zen/Maharaja bar in New Maadi. Plush it ain’t but neither is it tacky. Just a plain down to earth trading post with plenty of girls of from Africa and China. Some Crufts candidates but some gems. ‘twas ever thus. Friendly staff, who look after their expat customers well. Cheap in every way with beer at 20 LE and girls top whack 600 LE – a lot less if you a good negotiator. Most customers expats but a number of locals as well.

There are some great places, but not for picking up girls. Most of the places are quite happening and "in" spots. For a well to-do, young, chic crowd. Lots of eye-candy, but utterly unapproachable. They move in groups, most of them are attached, and few of them willing to risk their "reputation" by chatting with a foreigner for long. Few WGs, if any, will go to the clubs on any of the boats (La Pacha, Blue Nile, Imperial, Saraya). The Sofitel is fairly new and I've never been there, so it might be one place to check out. My sense is that in Zamalek, the only place for WGs is the Marriott. At Harry's Pub and the different outdoor cafes. I've heard there are WGs in the casino too, but have never been, not my scene. Many of the other bars/pubs are full of locals, some expats, and AUC study-abroad students.

For WGs Maadi is the place or else some of the clubs along Pyrmids road. Or else some of the 5* hotels downtown, like the Ramses Hilton. There are also a few dive bars/belly dancing joints downtown that are dicey, but entertaining if you are in the right mood. Have to negotiate for girls with the management.

I'm not familiar with the Mayfair, but my guess is it will take some baksheesh. Those kind of hotels usually have the front desk right in front, seeing all that comes and goes.

Egypt is a sex prison for foreigners, rich local men and 93% of the population who, due to living on $3 per day, cannot afford to marry.

Just so you know Zamalek is the richest suburb in Cairo. The rest of Cairo with the exception of Maadi is basically a rubbish dumpster. You can forget all about Zamalek 'nightlife' or even the possibility of picking up a decent Egyptian girl there (this includes AUC type) unless you are a) the son of a wealthy businessman, b) Egyptian, 'street/language-wise' and handsome-looking, c) drive a Mercedes or BMW, d) drink Absolut vodka and smoke Hashish, e) wear genuine imported Lacoste and Dolce&Gabbana and f) do nothing for a living by 'earning' their foreign degrees through bribes. It is meant strictly for the elite wealthy who are probably richer than you and own this country. Besides, the 'Hi-So' women you will find there are incredibly spoilt by American Woman attitudes/values. I'd be careful if I were you because they can easily get your British ass in jail for no reason but to tease you if they wish (connections). Don't worry though: there's an easy way out through bribery. If you want the less 'Americanized' and more GF-capable middle-class girls (not found in bars like the rich-class) you can also forget about them because you need to convert to Islam and marry them the 'Urfi' way - even if you want to hold hands or just be 'friends'. The middle class are an extremely conservative bunch but at the end of the day they don't drive their Porsche Cayennes, smoke Hashish, wear 40,000 LE Rolex watches or try to act like an American woman by complaining that sex is painful/a waste of time. No wonder the high-class segment has the highest divorce rate and prostitution is becoming common here.

This isn't Asia you know. Here in Egypt the rich/educated especially the younger generation look down on the foreigners and treat them like shit. I know in Thailand the rich girls are still possible to pick up and/or fuck but here it is impossible.

I am Egyptian and fit all the above descriptions (except the disrespect/looking down on foreigners thing) but still prefer to find Chinese or an Egyptian WL here in Maadi. Maybe the occasional Filipina or Indonesian maid for a USD $100 note (read my previous reports). No 'American' attitude and 100% GFE.

Since you will be staying in Zamalek it is better to just go to Harry's Pub in Marriot where there is a selection of African sharmutas catered to the foreigners or better yet go to one of the Maadi places discussed in this thread. My advice but it is up to you at the end of the day: find an Egyptian sharmuta in Maadi.

The Mayfair is a good location for restaurants, and it's in a (relatively, for Cairo!) quiet neighborhood. For clubs, the Imperial boat and some of the others on the river just east of the Mariott are options (though the Queen boat may be one to pass on - based on the gay disco bust several years ago!), but I think Rguy is on the mark about the chances for pickups there. Harry's in the Marriott is good, but maybe your best bet for a combo of fun and p4p would be the Nervana (former Africana) disco on Pyramids road in Giza. Great atmosphere and music, and a huge draw for Cairo's African community, and with good pickup options. The cover is about LE80, and cabbies know it well. Another good place is DaBaffo Bar in Mohandiseen, about 10 minutes by cab from where you are staying. There are reports on this place on the forum, from maybe about a year ago. It is pretty lively and filled with African women, though I haven't been in several months. Give me a PM if you have any other questions.

I've undertaken a bit of research this past week, making tremendous personal sacrifices for you all, checking out a variety of contacts for masseuses. It's been tough, I know you all feel my pain, but I wanted to bring you up to date.

1) There are some ads in Al-Waseet for Egyptian girls to be sent to your place for massages. With the assistance of a fellow ISGer we arranged for a girl to stop by. Unfortunately, due to some complications, she didn't stay. Almost humorous actually. She didn't look too bad and the price was to be 200 egp, if I remember correctly. Certainly worth looking into.

2) There is a Malay girl, Anna, who provides home massages for expats only, I'm afraid. She is very nice, good attitude, does a decent oil massage with a happy ending. She doesn't offer more than a HJ, but a nice relaxing hour. She is a little thicker and older than I prefer, but no complaints. She charges 200-300 egp.

3) Egyptian/Sudanese girl, Sawsan (though I think her name keeps changing) who also advertised on expatriates.com. She only offers services to expats. As I mentioned in an earlier post. She provides a decent massage (though Anna's was better), but more open to offering other services. She charged 300 though I ended up paying her 400 egp. Well worth it. Nice body, decent attitude. Unfortunately I think she is going back to Sudan soon.

4) Finally, there are some Thai ladies providing massages as well. I decided to check them out to see if they provide anything extra. They don't! However, they offer an amazing thai massage (stretching of muscles) and the younger sister who gave me the massage was quite attractive. One of the better looking women I've seen around. Makes it more frustrating that nothing else is offered. But, an excellent massage for those who are feeling a little soar. For only 200 egp. They do incall only in Zamalek.

I wish I could say that after three massages this week my back is actually feeling relaxed, but I think I need to keep the research project going.

Rguy - I wish I could say I was having a good time, but alas ...

Not only have I lost my ATM card, but my laptop crashed this morning - dead!

Plus I spent all day in bed with flu (and that's not a girl), so didn't get up to much. I just finished a massage by a so-so Ukranian girl in the hotel's health club tonight. Quick report as I'm at a public terminal ...
