Cairo is a hard nut to crack, at least not without wasting a lot of time and/or forking out some serious cash. But if you know the cues, and speak a bit of Arabic, there's some action. Haven't heard much about the scene in Mohandiseen, so went to check it out tonight.

Around 5 pm, met a guy on the street who took me to an unnamed "nightclub" on the first floor of a building, behind an unmarked door. A big dance floor with two hot little numbers strutting around. The place itself is just a money drain, with overpriced beer and peanuts, but after one round of this you're free to negotiate with the WGs. Tip the door guy if you plan to come back. Took an 8/10 (would be higher if she didn't wear so much makeup) home for a few hours for BBBJ and FJ with condom for 300 EGP. Her friend, also an 8, wanted 500, and a chubby girl in the corner was willing to do anything for less. I have an apartment here, which makes things easier - but watch your belongings. Thursday night I decided to make my way to some not to out of the ordinary places to have a drink. Hit la bodega first, then aubergine after a few nice tame drinks, time was passing on and decided to hit latex. For those who don't know, its the night club at the nile hilton.

There were many gulf arabs who clearly came to cairo for some debauchery. And where these people go, you can be sure some ladies of the night follow.

There were maybe 3-4 cis girls not the best looking of the bunch but most definitly do-able. There there were plenty of local independents, majority of them I'm my book 8+/10 with quite a few unbelieveably hot ones.

Finally there was a group of around 6 women. Think possible philipino, or indonesian, not too sure. 1 was really hideous, short and ugly, another tall and ugly, and carrying a bit of weight. Then there were 3 which were definite 7+ one I would say a 10. But its all subjective, and they really know how to dance, and really do love it! That gives a total of 5/6 girls. The last and final one I am not to sure I would classify as a woman, extremely tomboyish. With very short hair. I definitly think she was a lesbian. And the way she looked incontrol of the events, I think she was the mamasan, every 15 minutes all the girls would report to her on their progress.

Unfortunatly, as usual, the 3 very hot ones were occupied with male company, and I was not in the mood to even look at let alone negotiate with the other 3, so I have no idea at all of their prices.

My suggestion would be to go the Far East bar in New Maadi, "audition" a few Sudanese girls over the course of a week or two. They are not all hardened pros by any means, find one who strikes the balance you are looking for between sex and domesticity and problem solved. They would mostly jump at the chance of a regular income.

Easy enough to find. On El Nasr Street in New Maadi heading north (ish). Pass the Shell station on your left and about 150m further on.. They turn the fascia lights off late evening so may look closed, but don't despair. Ignore the doorman at the entrance - I've never had to pay but seems some sort of entry fee with a drink coupon these days. Don't go there before midnight and stays open til about 3 on a busy night. Alas no Filipinas..................

Another way to find Far East (if you're coming from the South or opposite direction to what Mcavity mentioned) is just go to Medan El Gezair and look for a prominent pharmacy chain. It is right beside it. Easy, but the parking is such a pain it is impossible... Also, if you look further down the street on the opposite lane you will find the Egyptian sharmutas I have been talking about. (you definitely need a car for that)

It's easier for you as a foreigner to initiate contact with Filipinas (in this country at least) because it is understood that they have money and are kind enough not to abuse them. However, working for an Egyptian they automaticly think abuse, a measly salary that probably won't be paid and poor living conditions (i.e. outside Maadi and Zamalek). And why the fuck would they let the girl work for a single young guy? The employment agency would not allow that unless it is for an Egyptian family with a husband, wife and children. I would dream for a single Filipina girl that would fuck, clean, cook and care for me. If only they knew there existed a minority neavue rich that are quite fed up with the local spoilt high-end girls...

I told him the entrance fee was only 50 LE. He then starts yelling that if I don't like it, I should [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) off and that he will call the police. I call my friend inside Far East and he confirms that he only paid 50 LE to get in just 15 minutes prior to my arrival. Angry and pissed off, I then toss a 50 LE note into the guy's lap and force my way in. The two doormen then get up, grab me from my elbow and push me all the way to the stairs with force. Little did he know I was the son of a wealthy businessman or even an acquantice of the man who deals with plain-clothed police officers across Maadi. Before I could get my hands on him the owner of Far East then suddenly walks outside and lets me in free-of-charge, apologising for all the fuss.

Needless to say, I was quite worked up afterwards and had no mood to look around. I just sipped my Sakkara. Seems there are absolutely NO Chinese now. All African girls who seem to be occupied with their African men.

The place is at Algezeir Square at Maadi. Any cad driver can take you there. There is a well known pharmacy chain-shop called Abu Ghali. Continue to walk around 30-40 meters keeping the shop at your right hand side. The club will appear on your right hand side. Typically it's a Chinesse+Indian resturant in the day time, where as a night club + pick up joint in the night. I generally go there at 12. However the place closes at around 3. 30 am.

As far as night club is concerned, don't go there. The light is too bright with pathetic sound system. More like a noise system. None can make out which song they are playing. There is a Pool table at the centre. Typically used by the confident hookers to occupy centre stage. Also some men play at times. Drinks specially beers are cheaper compared to any others pubs/clubs. Starts with LE 15. But the drinks (whisky etc.) at par with other places. They have a ticket of 50 LE to enter where you get 2 drinks free. However, only for the first time they charged me for the ticket. And from 2nd time onwards I enter free of charge.

As far as pick up joint is concerned, it has few Egyptians (3-4) girls (6/10 to 9/10), 5-6 chinesse (4/10 to 9/10) and mostly black girls from Sudan etc. Make sure to bargain like hell (over a beer). If you had lived here for quite some time you would know a) the girls, even if they are prostitutes, would appear defensive and shout at you over the phone if you enquire about their services. This time I'm going to write about Africana, again in a detailed way to help the new comers.

AFRICANA

Location: Africana is at Ahram St. Or Pyramid St. When you enter Ahram St. Through the underpass, keep going straight. After around 2-3 km (I. E. Towards the pyramids), you'll find many fast food chains on your right hand. Including a McDonalds. Go around 100 mtrs more. It is on the same side. The name is writen on a not so big orage kinda board. Nirvana. It's tough to point out from a cab/car if you don't know. Better walk after the Mcdonals. Note that you'll see a McDonalds on your left hand side (Otherside of the road) soon after you enter Ahram St.. Ignore that.

Description: The club is at the basement. You buy tickets at the door (man 80 LE. 2 haniken/sakkara/stella/juice or 1 meister free, girls 40 LE.1 heniken/stella/sakkara/juice free), and enter. Further beer costs 20-25 LE/ can. You can also get foreign liquors, but only in bottles. It is almost a rectangular space with a dance floor at the centre with 2 layers of small tables around it. Dark atmosphere with little light. 95% people would be black. Both guys and gals. On Thursdays you can see some foregners and few egyptians.

Nighclub: The thing that I like most is the music. Excellent music system, good DJ, and ALL ENGLISH SONGS. Which you rarely find in Cairo. Typically the dance starts at 12 midnight on Thursdays and at 2/3 am on other days. Ends at 5. 30 am. On weekdays, most of the girls start coming 3 am onwards. After they finish their tour of Diplomacy club at Maadi which ends at 3 am. Highly recommended for nightclub experience.

Girls: Almost all black girls. Most of them are from Sudan (South of Sudan to be more precise), 3-4 from Etiopia, and rarely from other countries, 4-5 Egyptians (either dark skinned from Aswan or pretty fat ones). A funnt things is, untill unless you are outstandingly smart/ white skinned etc. , they'll not talk to you if you approach them directly. Make some eye contacts + smiles and then approach. I suggest picka girl early to dance with her. Almost all girls are excellent in dancing. Dancing with someone doesn't mean you need to take her. However, I prefer to take her (I. E. Do the selection excercise atthe beginning) with whom I danced (as they don't charge for dancing, but accompanying me to my place. Ad that is their living) or tell them early that I'm not going to take her so that she can decide what to do. Price LE 500 standard. You can bargain. But do the bargaining before you leave the place with her. 2-3 girls are there who expects around LE 1, 000 and one girl excepts USD 300-400. My suggestion, be decent to them, they'll give you great GFE. Note that except for a few girls, all have mothered children. Doesn't matter how young/ innocent they look. Most of them will have their own places. Which are pretty safe. So, no need to have own apartment. Again, when they'll leave is dependent on your discussions before taing her. Some leave at 7 am and some at 3 pm. Ask her for how long they'll stay at your place/ you'll stay at their place. Visiting their homes are good experience- as you'll see her family members are also residing together. No point in picking Egyptians from there. They are over priced from outside and not so great quality.

Summary:

Location: Ahram St, 100 mtrs after the McDOnals on the right side of the road (while going towards the pyramids)

Nighclub: Excellent with dance floor good music system and all english music.

Pickup Joint: Mostly Blacks. Only recommended if you like black girls. Cost LE 500.

Overall: Very Good.

Well, it's pretty random. First, try the whole of El Laselky Street (the side opposite to Metro Market). Then, continue on to Nasr Street next to the Communication Tower area. There are some girls usually in front of the Korean restaurant. Then do a right when you reach the messed up roundabout. Keep going straight until you reach Peking Chinese restaurant. This area has some. Then go straight and you will find a pharmacy called "Ali&Ali". Go right. Look in the area. Finally, go to Medan el Gazaer and you might find one or two there.

In Singapore's Geylang district. I found them (in general) to be much more relaxed and GFE than our Egyptian counterpart (But nowhere near Filipinas). But they are as lax as the Egyptians in terms of condom use, which can be a good or bad thing.

Hard to find 'decent company' in this country, foreigner or non-foreigner... this isn't Thailand you know :). The EE girls are all over Hurghada and some parts of El Gouna but they are tourists, not prostitutes (those damn Russians have their own money now). Anyway for local sharmoutas I suggest you ask a taxi driver or just hit Cairo (although here it is still bit of a sex prison)

If you're a foreigner I have a number for a Chinese girl that is frankly so-so in the looks department (of course nothing like the ones I seen in Singapore and China, but for Egypt it's not bad). I saw her buying corn from the street stall on her way to Far East/Maharajah. Status Update on Cairo Massage Parlors

I’m excited to hear about Egy Mada’s report about the MP near Wonderland in Nasr City, but for a few months we hadn’t had a whole lot of news about the Cairo massage parlor scene. Things seemed pretty bleak with Tehran Clinic’s closing, but then I saw that our former compatriot Maxmara has had to deal with mp closings in Beirut, so we were not alone in our misery.

Anyway, since there were not many recent reports to go on to help me find a replacement for my Tehran visits, I decided to make a personal survey of as many places I could find. In addition to the places with extras still operating, I included places that ended up being legitimate without extras, as well as a number of older places I had visited in the last couple of years (the list of closed places gives you a sense of how fluid things are; hopefully it helps newcomers who RTFF and get their hopes up from old reports). Al Waseet advertising newspaper was a big help; the ads for spas are typically in English (at least the name), but the same places are not advertised in each issue.

It’s exhausting work, so let me pass on some requests for information: Places in Maadi? Places that advertise only in Arabic? The deal with the near Wonderland, including the location? New versions of closed places like Tehran? Any information would be welcome.

To get there, make a left at the Coop petrol station on Gamat ad Dawal al Arabiya, on the left side of the street (with your back to the Nile). Take this until you reach the tip of a triangular garden/park-like area with a small mosque; take the right hand fork in the road (I forget the street name, but the building is number 52 on the right side of the street). The directions I got when I called were unclear, so I wandered around for a while until a local guy led me to the street I wanted, Ahmed Essam Gouda, which is parallel to Abbas al Aqqad Street. Look for the Gad Restaurant near the intersection of Aqqad and M Street, or the Ceramica Cleopatra nearby. Cross to the Ceramica Cleopatra side of the street and go in one block to Gouda. Royal is on the ground floor at number 49, and you cannot miss the place, it is very prominently signed.
When I arrived I told the very sexy receptionist that I wanted a massage (I hate it when the receptionists are so good looking, it truly is false advertising and get’s your hopes up so high . . .). In addition to the places with extras still operating, I included places that ended up being legitimate without extras, as well as a number of older places I had visited in the last couple of years (the list of closed places gives you a sense of how fluid things are; hopefully it helps newcomers who RTFF and get their hopes up from old reports). Al Waseet advertising newspaper was a big help; the ads for spas are typically in English (at least the name), but the same places are not advertised in each issue.

It’s exhausting work, so let me pass on some requests for information: Places in Maadi? Places that advertise only in Arabic? The deal with the near Wonderland, including the location? New versions of closed places like Tehran? Any information would be welcome.

No longer in Dokki, but has reopened in Mohandiseen/Agouza; see below.

Closed. The Bawaab told me it’s done. The outside sign is down, and there’s some sort of police seal on the door.

I mean no offensive. My understanding from the Egyptian friend is to let him deal with Egyptians when it comes to money and negotiations. I believe he's right in that sense. I can say for example Egyptians sell the same thing for the same number but in dollar instead of LE. In other words the same thing is sold for 5 times (according to current exchange rates) of it's Egyptian price!
Again do not take it in any offensive way. I might not rent a car but just in case. I had a friend who was able to rent a luxurious car through networking and connections for a very cheap price for a month. The guy who rented to him was not even a rental agency. He rented the car of a guy who works in outside the country. Instead of keeping the car in the garage he made money.

Yes, this is Egypt my friend. Get used to it. Everything has been going downhill here since the late 70's (before I was even born). No sex industry. No fun. No nothing. As an Egyptian I do not see the same problems here as in 3rd-world countries like Indonesia and Thailand. Cheating, greed and disrespect is something to do with Egyptian genetics (or maybe Islam? Egyptian women attitudes/values have deteriorated so much that they have become comparable to Westernised women without the intelligence. They seldom give sex, and the 1/3 marriages end in divorce quickly.

If you thought renting a car here was bad, what would you say about parking it? In Maadi last year I left my $110,000 car parked outside a luxury villa and came an hour later to find it smashed by another car by accident. Does anyone give a shit? Nope, neither the police or insurance company. It is STRONGLY reccomended not to drive here.

It is no surprise I am spending 4 months a year in Thailand now.

I was in Sharm el Sheik, Naama Bay, more than year ago, before the Ramadan (June ??). Naama Bay beach walking street is good place to walk in small bikinis, except that I don't know how Ramadan will change the place.

Also, I found an excellent disco in Naama Bay, where they had foam party inside the disco. There people changed to swimming suites, or had them as underwear. Then there was lot of foam and several swimming pools. And you could buy alcohol. Half of the disco was like normal disco, separated by glass window from this swimming/foam part. It was lot of fun, and maybe you and your wife would like it, although flashing for sure is not allowed, even not kissing too much.
But: I don't remember name of the place, and it was more than year ago, and they had this foam party only once a week, and you are going to Egypt during the Ramadan.

Maybe somebody regocnizes the place from this description and can tell you name of this foam place if it still exists (or google?). It is in Naama Bay, same area as Buddha bar and Hard Rock cafe, but more to the direction of beach street, little separated of other places. I know Egypt very well, I lived there not so long time ago. So I know all those problems, they were part of my daily life. Still I have positive feelings about Egypt, so I guess I have more good than bad memories.

Maharadha you are talking here I guess is Far East. In Maadi everybody knows only this Far East name for the Zen/Maharadja/Far East, inluding taxi drivers.

Also, if you are in hotel in center of the Cairo don't expect taxi drivers there to know anything about Maadi. And Maadi is biggest labyrinth that I know, I lived there considerable time but still always got lost there.

What I did when I was still in hotel in centrum: I took taxi there and ask them to go Maadi and there Shopping Grande Mall. Taxi drivers never knew where it was but in Maadi everybody knows and after asking 10 times from police etc... taxi drivers found Shopping Grande Mall. Leave your taxi there.

There should be always taxis in front of Sohpping Grande Mall, or at least there are taxis all the time driving by. There are local Maadi taxes, and these may know Koreana and African Diplomatic Club. Many of them don't know, ask/stop taxis until you find some who knows.

I know you just want to get there quickly and pay whatever they want, but to others: Never pay more than 10 LE for such a ridicolously short ride (from the Grand Mall to any of the clubs you mentioned. It is a 5-minute ride on an old broken clunker for god's sake!). I understand you are a foreigner but this 20 LE itself is enough to go from Maadi to Zamalek. Such a shame that in third-world countries such as Cambodia and parts of Indonesia where the taxi cars are modern Toyota Corollas charge me a quarter of that in similar distances if I am 'going after girls.'

All of these places mentioned so far are good and worth the effort in finding them. Maadi is full of small clubs - some with working girls, others with less. The girls are nice and not pros - just trying to make a living. Treat them with respect and you will be rewarded. These women are much better than at the fancy hotels and bars downtown or in Zamalak. It's fun to go to these clubs either single or with your lady. They are safe. The people are nice and friendly, and the beer is cheap. I also found this information very strange. Only good place where were normal girls that I found in Maadi was Boss bar. And they had very strict control that they don't let any professional inside, e.g girls from Far East were not allowed to enter.
Although there were many good looking women in Boss bar they were always part of some group of men/women and talked only to each others. So although it was good bar otherwise it was not a place to get contact with ladies.

Another good place was Ace Club, but there you had to be member, and they made big cleaning at one stage, cleaning most of the professional girls, although not all of them.

Otherwise I did not found anything interesting. Always when I visited Red Onion it was either empty or only men.

I think your statement only applies to the bars where African and Chinese frequent -- Far East / Maharajah, for example, which operates as a restaurant during the afternoons but shuts down its late night bar?

Another report from my recent trip to Cairo. To a nightclub.

Was taken by an arab friend to a local arabic nightclub (he had hired a driver for the stay). I had no idea where the place was.

After trying unsuccessfully at Harrys Bar and a few other places, resorted to a number from the expatriates site. The deal was quoted at 300US for 3 hr -I know this is very steep but I off on a plane out of here the next day so thought I would give it a go. Just back from my 1st time in Cairo so I thought a few comments might be useful to others.
No problems to find “Far East”. All the local taxi drivers seem to know it. Quite a laid back atmosphere and plenty of people on the nights I visited.
One rather attractive and very helpful waitress there (Suzi) She is Egyptian, and speaks excellent English. Unfortunately she is a “civilian” and not available for P4P. She tells me that she is married to a Scottish guy. Lucky man!
Drinks were very reasonable prices, in fact probably cheaper than most hotel bars!
There were mostly black African girls when I was there (Sudanese and Ethiopian.) Quality varied but probably something to suit everyone with all shapes and sizes and one or two real stunners! Also around 6 Chinese girls, but rather older than the Africans, and, to me, not particularly appealing. I saw just 2 Egyptian girls but one of them was very nice. Looked rather Russian to me with very pale skin and dark brown hair.
Prices varied with the Africans starting at around 100 $US or 500 LE (Yes, I know that they are not the same but that is what the girls said! ) As the night got later no problems to negotiate down from that figure to 50 $US, even for a newbee.
The, older Chinese girls seemed to price higher, perhaps due to a rarity factor.
I did not get a chance to check a price for the Egyptian girl. Some other monger got to her just as I was about to make a move. (The BASTARD!!)
As reported many times before not possible to take girls back to your hotel (due to the hotel anti mongering Gestapo at all lifts) but the 3 girls homes that I went to were fine and I had no problems at all. That's strange, I cruised yesterday as well and there were 2 girls in front of Gracias. Anyhow, it was probably empty because of of the football match (there was not a single person on the street) and the unusually cold weather.

1. Not near Maharajah / Zenzen but closer to El Laselky Street. I don't know how to explain it well but it's on the street that's opposite the Telecom Egypt communication facility (with the huge satellite dishes)

2. I completely understand what you mean but it is easier for us Egyptians to distinguish a sharmuta than foreigners. Basically you have some who wear a ''abeya' (traditional woman's dress) and those who wear normal Western clothes. You just need a trained eye to know which is working. Some just stand alone in the street as if waiting for someone and some are walking with a friend (also a woman). Thankfully there are no problems if you just park your car next to her, turn the hazard lights on and wait for her to come. If she isn't a WG she will walk away. But as you are a foreigner you can be sure if she is a WG she will get in your car (because they know you have money and can pay)

I was at Harry's Pub and Hard Rock cafe last Tuesday night. First went to Harry's where there were several fine African women.
