Angola seems to be getting some good press. As anyone have anything to add about the "hobby" there?

Angola is cheap. When you stay in Luanda, girls will even stop you in the street. They are so dirt-poor. 5 Euro per night is the going rate. I usually prefer the smaller hotels at Luanda beach. - Approx. 20 - 30 Euros. They usually do not mind that you take a girl with you. Now it is quite safe (what is safe in Africa?) There is no real scene or "girly-clubs" but a lot of discos to pick girls up. The bar of the Sheraton hotel is full of girls. The Sheraton is not girl-friendly - you have to go somewhere else.

I recommend Animatografo on week days.

Nice chiks to dance a sensual Kizomba.

I know that some or many members of this board is interesting in some info about Luanda and Angola. Well, here are some experience from april this year. I am working in some oil related business and I regularly visit Luanda. There are a lot of girls to find outside of the city, on the peninsula 5 minutes from the center. Clubs, bars and semilar are often crowded with girls of that particularly kind who we like to meet! Remember it looks like they are not coming much earlier than 10 to 11 p.m. The demand is 40 to 100 USD. They are very beaty for the most, with of course some dogs. Prices overall in the area is very expensive by Angola level, but compared to the SW downtown they are also looking to be of legal age, and cleaner. You need some place to live, because as far as I know they don't have any themself. To be in Africa I belive it's comparatively safe so far if you act with a kind of normal attention. Use your head on the top of your body and protect your in the middle, I'm sure you will find some fun.

Good luck!

I have looked around some new spot in Luanda.

Downtown, near Serpa Pinto square.

Well, it is not that new. The place has been there for quite a while. Its called Coyote Bar and outside you can find several girls. I believe most will be from RDCongo. Very bad portuguese and some would even greet you in French.

Anyway, if you stop the car nearby they will run to you, and try to force inside. I tried one, she was tall but not goodlooking. For 2000 Kwanzas (20€) she would do everything.

Took her home, she did a nice blowjob, then doggystille and then came in her ass! I was quite horny so it was quick. In the end I gave her plus 300 Kwanzas tip.

When I took her back several other girls where there. More good looking but still from Congo.

Also looked around Tropico. Several girls, same price and same quality.

B.

For the scene in Luanda:

I have been here now for 5 weeks, with 3 years to go. So I quickly hit the streets to find the action here. Follows is a quick overview.

Coyotes - A "disco" that around 2300 - midnight fills up with girls that P4P. Many from Congo but a few Angolanas mixed in especially on the week nights (Tuesday, Wednesday). The usual mix of the ugly to reasonable with the occasional beauty mixed in. All ask for 100US at first but can be easily talked down to the 30 to 50 range for night. Also have been told that there are two more "discoteques" like it in the city (one called Copocabano).

Royal Pub - Used to be a spot but now very empty. Maybe with time the girls will come back. That would be nice as it is only 1 block from my apartment.

Amatigraficos - This one I like. Very much a "discotequa" with plenty of girls (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and the associated harddicks chasing them. Here the scene is to make some eye contact (easy enough for a gringo) then ask her to dance. Drink prices are reasonable. These are more the semi pros, almost all angolanas and will probably not quote a "price" but will expect a "ayuda" (help) for her time (50US is a good round number).

Other "Discos" and bars - Places like Palos, Zanzibar, Don Quixote all sceen at the door and the working girls have almost no chance to enter unescorted. There may be a few, but don't expect a crowd.

On the streets - in front of the Trivoli Hotel, the start of the Ihla, along the Rainha Ginga you will see, from 2100 onward, a few chicas looking for action. I don't do the SW scene so no idea of price. Also in front of Coyotes, Amatigrafico, and most of the other "discos" are the ones that can't get in the actual club and are looking for the quick pickup from those guys arriving on on the way out the door.

General - keep your eyes open as you move around town, in the supermarket, on the beach and in restuarants, as you will get plenty of interested looks. If you "Fala portuguese" you will do very well to strike up a conversation and make friends who happen to understand that evenings will end up in the sack.

In short, plenty, plenty nice looking girls here looking for the right gringo (or the next gringo).

Hi.

About Copacabana. I have been there some time ago, and I am not very found of it.

Also there is always Police outside and you end up spending a lot of time and money to get rid of them.

You have to pay around 1000 Kwanzas and there is several stupid rules (once they wanted to charge me on the exit because I did not offer drinks!!!).

When I was there the girls weren't that good. Better to go on Tuesdays and thursdays to Animatografo.

Where is Royal Pub?

Bazurka,

Royal Pub is on a small street off the Rainha Ginga that runs besides a church towards Palo's. Actual address is Rua Mercadores (next to where the Restuarante Espanhol was). There is a pool table downstairs and a nicely refurbished bar up with a number of girls after 11PM.

Capt. Fire,

Tic Toc pretty much sums up Luanda. I was there for 9 months last year and had some good times. I like Coyotes and Palos, Coyotes is always loaded with ladies after 11pm, most of them are for the taken, some of them will ask for money and some will not. But I always gave them some cash. Luanda is a tough place. Always get their phone #, so you can arrange to meet them elsewhere as Coyotes can get expensive when buying drinks, just dance and buy the girls some drinks and you will make alot of friends, you will have 4-5 girls ready to go with you. Palos is a cool place also, not quite the meat market Coyotes is, but there is some upper class locals that go there. I prefered to carry a date to Palos and dance the night away. Sundays is a good day for the beach, Miami Beach and Coconuts is a great place to just hang on the beach, ladies can also be scored there. Lots of Bikinis. Anyway, I could go on more but I think if you hit these places and hook up with some good girls they will show you the rest.

Have A Good Time,

Bulik

Hi crew,

It's looking like work will be taking me to "Little Angola" - Cabinda sometime in the new year. I'm sure the town will be well populated with lovelies and there should not be any problems hooking up (it is Africa!).

Whatever I find of note be posted but I was just hoping that someone out there in ISG forumland has actually visited Cabinda and might be good enough post some names of bars, clubs, etc. to get me started.

Any info appreciated.

i have benefited to long from this site without posting anything, so i can start with angola since there aren’t many posts here. this happened exactly one year ago, but it might still be a good story.

i have to be a bit discreet when it comes to mongering on business travel so i didn’t try hard in luanda. but i made some observations, and if you are blonde there is a lot on offer. noticed a lot of smiling girls on ilha, the peninsula in luanda, but the language barrier is in general a problem since i don’t speak portuguese. i was also approached by a girl right outside the guesthouse when parking the car, and her communication through body language didn’t leave much doubt what was on offer. however she looked a bit young, so i gave it a miss.

i also spent a week in lubango further south, a much more pleasant place than the capital. one of the drivers was going to namibe at the coast for an overnight trip to pick up something, so i used the opportunity to join him. his english was a bit limited, but enough to have some communication, and he asked if i liked girls. very much indeed my fiend. so after arriving we had a lunch, when driving me to the hotel he whistles to good looking girl and picks her up. hmmm. street hooker, not what i was hoping for really. when we met up for a beer later i asked him how much he paid. no, he only bought her a beer. so later in the evening we cruised around in the town looking for girls and asked if they wanted a ride. we picked up two, but they preferred ice cream instead of beer, so dropped them off later. the next couple we picked up was more responsive, impressed over the landcruiser and the beer, both of them 19 and very good looking. i moved to the back seat and soon was kissing with one of them. the other one indicated she wanted to join for a 3-some when the driver took a [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134), but good brothers have to share the treasures. had a good session with her and we drove the home at midnight. quite an interesting experience as well. showing off to their friends: look at our catch for the day.

sometimes i really love africa. the costs…a few beers. and i can tick of angolana on my list.

I promised to contribute, so this is the start… Palo’s is still very popular with the upper classes as described by others, Coyote’s still has all those desperate Congolese women, I never found the Royal Pub though, I think it has closed.

On the Ilha there seems to be a new club opening every month, though the competition has not affected the exorbitant drink prices. Miami Beach is still about the best any time, esp on Sunday’s. Similar clubs are Chill Out Club, Eden Club (new), and Café del Mar. Also, a new club opened on the Ilha next to the restaurant Cais de Quatro, which has a very nice clientele and a great atmosphere.

In terms of my experiences, Angolan women are among the sexiest in Africa (of about 16 countries) and among the craziest. Of the first two I had, neither wanted money, they wanted to have my baby (I refused). Another turned somewhat psycho, so I think for mongers with a fetish for psycho-GFE’s (P-GFE??) Luanda’s the place. Also, a pick-up at the Hotel Tropico turned into a burglary, so it’s good to be very careful. Generally crime and aggressive behavior is getting worse, so it’s good to stick to the safe spots.

Luanda is definitely not for beginners, though one good Kizombe dance makes it worth a look. And I'm still looking for that massage.

Can I get a witness!

Hi,

Elinga Teatro is a place in Luanda which arranges theatre, concerts and stuff. I had the opportunity to visit this place and its a recommendable place, at least if something is on. I don't know how it is on a more ordinary night.

Among all the people i also found Fernanda. She was willing, but couldn't one single word of english. She was more minded for a quick ride, so she wasnt to happy with me wanting more fun. She accepted some pics though. Not very good im afraid, but the two best are attached.

If you meet her some time and are as good in portugese as she is in english, i recommend you to continue looking.

Is a bar (...) and disco downtown Luanda. I think its closed Mondays, but the activity is increasing through the week. A lot of nice looking ladies there and a few expats. The style is pretty relaxed, but its no problem getting in touch with any of the ladies around. They just don't hazzle you as they do in some other places. You can get an average girl from $50 there if you are good bargaining i portugese, but you're more likely to pay some more. Up to $100/nite for a stunner.

I picked up Maizy there. She speaks a little english! Gorgeous body, photos ok, excellent bj and pussy fuck. No anal. The first night she got a good facial, but that was unfortunately not caught on pic. The attached pics are all from the other night she visited me.

Note! Hotel Tropico is not too girlfriendly. If you bring the lady for overnight stay they will add $50 to your room. But if she arrives for short time before 10pm you might get away without the $50.

Enjoy!

Not the cheapest destination by any means, seems wonderful though. I should imagine one could bargain down to $30 or so for the bottom end of the scale, would i be correct in assuming this? Clubs should be plentiful in this part of the world.

My question is it hard to distinguish from the pros and the non pros when you go to the regular clubs? I wouldnt mind heading to Angola. I have always wanted to. Thought about Mozambique but after I saw that 15 percent of the people have AIDs I was like hell no. How would a regular Angolan girl treat their man? Just a little curious. Thanks

In Angola you have very few pro, that you find at Club Royal and on the streets around. At local clubs, you find many girls that live to have a special friend that can buy different stuff, lke clothes, celular, pay dinners, etc. Like all the girls all over the world, Europe, Asia, America, etc. The main problem is the cost of everything in Luanda. A meal at a nice place, without wine. 40 US dollars. But almoste the girls are nice. Be carefull that many of the girls that you find at the clubs can afford more money than you or me, their families have money, real money.

That is shocking on how expensive it is in Luanda. I have no experience in Africa but I would figure it to be cheaper then Latin America but I guess if I went to the real nice places in Latin America it would cost that much. Im looking for a regular girl. Would you just recommend going to the regular discos? How would a white guy be treated in these places? I thought about going to Maputo but after I found out that 1 in ever 5 girls has HIV I decided to forget about it. Its not worth the risk. Even with protection.Recently some scientist admitted that they overrated AIDS to get more money for their research programs. They admitted that the real AIDS infection numbers were 10 times smaller than they had published before. Official publications of the WHO also were "pimped" by scientist with the same purpose.

In 1988 it was said that in the year 2005 at least 30 million Africans will die from AIDS. Officially the WHO admitted that in 2007 some 3 Million Africans died form AIDS. The same scientists admitted that the chance of a man to get the infection by a woman who has the "virus inside" is 1%. When a man is circumcised the chance is even smaller.

From my point of view AIDS is a danger but it is not as dangerous as it was said. If one uses protection there is almost no danger at all.

Anyway. I have done a lot of time without protection with many african girls, I am circumcised and I always use sliding gel. Until today I am not infected, my last test was in Nov 2007.

Cheers

I'd be curious to know of sources that tell a contrary view. Maputo appears to be higher the the Mozambique average, which is not unlike other countries where the city prevalence rates are higher.

HIV/AIDS Prevalence among 15- 49 year olds (2002)17.3% Maputo
Source 2002 Unicef

The provinces with the highest rates are Sofala, Maputo and Maputo-city (26.5, 20.7 and 20.7% respectively) and the lowest Nampula, Cabo Delgado, Niassa and Inhambane (9.2, 8.6, 11.1 and 11.7% respectively). Tete, Zambezia, Gaza and Manica also presented very high rates (close to 20%)[1]. Source UN 2006- I don't have a more specific report to cite from this source.

But sorry I cannot find it anymore.

One thing I remeber very good is that previously not a single scientist group had really counted the people with infection but estimated with various methods. In 2007 several scientist groups started to count the infected people, which is much more work and they all found that the previously published numbers were in some cases 10 times higher than the real cases.

It was also said in the report, that the governments of these countries are not interested to publish the real rates, because they receive a lot of money to fights AIDS.

Also many scientists are not interested to tell the truth or lets say facts, because telling a story about a catastrophic event i.e. AIDS or Climate Change gives a lot of public attention and generates money.

Nowadays you can get Aids everywhere. I think it`s dangerous in a country like the USA, where people should take protection and sometimes don´t than in Africa where everybody, except the crazy ones, take always protection. And about Maputo, you can be sure that it deerves the voyage. You won´t to leave the place. I live in Angola, and if I can I would change right now.

I'm lousy with directions in this town, so I'm sending a map. I will be interested to hear how it goes.TravelRough,

I was able to find the 3 bars and clubs and visited Zanzibar & Royal a number of times.

On the whole my experiences with girls in Angola was not good. The cost of living in Luanda is ridicolous for Africa so when the girls were looking for $100 I was not prepared to give them that.

The first two girls I agreed on fees of $50 and $60 but after an hour at the hotel they packed up and wanted to leave. Despite their forthcomong attitudes in the clubs the sex was a big disappointment.

The third girl I took back to the company house. Sex was okay but when I went to the toilet she tried to do a runner with my valuables and threatened to call the police when I struggled to get them back. After that she was asked to leave.

All girls were treated well and sex involved BJ and straight sex so their attitudes were not justified in my view.

My other experience in West Africa have always been good. It was more like GF experiences for $20-25 and no hassle or stealing.

I might just have been unlucky because I know other expats that had good experience with girls from Royal and Zanzibar.

The Hotel Presidente is not girl friendly. Security and the receptionist will want a pay-off even though the girl hands over her passport / ID card on arrival. When I refused on the 2nd occassion they billed $50 for double occupancy without my knowledge. I don't think there would be the same problem if you had girls visiting through the day or early evening.

My sympathies to you, I’ve had a similarly mixed experience in Luanda, quite a few bad… but also a couple of really good experiences.

I picked up two pros at the Tropico Hotel bar and they pinched my hidden cash when I was in the bathroom. I don’t really go mongering anymore because there’s always a problem. Zanzibar & Royal are the only bars I’ve been to that are pretty much set up for picking up pros. I’m sure there are more, I’m just not that adventurous given the high crime in Luanda. Since the nice, safe beach clubs are expensive, they usually have great girls there, but usually with a man to pay for drinks or the girls is already taken care of by family money.

The answer to the pro/non-pro question from Illini333 below is that it’s impossible to distinguish in Luanda. Most pros pretend to be non-pros. In town you see a lot of young women driving Rav4s, a gift from their married boyfriends. They have a term: ‘quatorzeinha’ which means a 14 year old girlfriend. So then what is a pro actually? But yes, they treat their men well (except for cheating on them). The best experiences I’ve had in Africa are with Angolan non-pros. They’re sexy, fun, great dancers, great in bed and can look you straight in the eye and lie to you. And since everyone here is lying and cheating, you can always dump a girl by saying that you know what she’s been up to!

Luanda is not a good destination for the mongerer, it’s just too complicated. Not many people speak English, everything shockingly expensive (even local beer), no taxis, the streets are unsafe at night and anyway, visas for Angola are almost impossible to get for visitors. I've tried to contribute a bit here since any visitor to the Luanda scene needs help.

I’m spending most of my time out of Luanda these days, and while I miss the 10% of the time when I had a great time, I also remember the 90% ‘confusao’.

Are they some of you who have some girl gsm number to share. It could be amiga of your amiga.. I stay in the hotel, and don t have car to go out at night. So difficult to go to pub royal or zanzibar. And there are no bars around president hotel to have fun.

Also, are there any place like spa in luanda to have massage in the day?

3 weeks, i am here now, time is starting to be long!

Thanks for your help.

You have to try to pick the girls during day time at their jobs, and invite them for dinner at your hotel. Maybe you get someone with car and things will be easy good luck.

If tou like black girls go to Mayombe or Kilamba discos. If you prefer soft colours go to Paulo's at the city center or to Miami at the "Ilha de Luanda" but take 100 US$ bills with you. Atention these place are no pro discos, but chicks like money as everibody. If you look for pro with very good looking, ask at the hotel they will advice aplave close to Paulo's (I don't know the name). Preare also 100.

Good luck

Thank you for your help.
I am in Luanda for a week now and I am getting very frustated, too many women but no action yet....I am in Trópico but do not think it is G Friendly.
The panorama is quite diferent from Maputo as chicks here do not make eye contact,
Can I invite you for a beer?
Send me a PM nad we will meet.
I am leaving on Sunday.

You cann't compare Luanda and Maputo. Everything, everyboy are diferent. But here you can also make eye contact. If you donn't speak a little of portuguese it's difficult. But try on the streets to make eye contact, or at the shpos (there are a few close to Tropico) try start conversation. You will be sucessfull. Send me your contact and I'll pass by Tropico.

You can also find girls along the marginale between 7pm and 9pm. Most of them are running. Of course speak portugues is better but some of them speak english.
Then there are 2 others club : Pub royal (next to new sonangol building and palos club) and the coyote club

Then I am looking for a girl to have 1h massage in Luanda, so if anybody has a number or a contact, thanks to give me.

Hello,

I was in Luanda back in 2003 for 10 months and I am thinking of visiting again. What is the new news on hotels in Luanda. Still the high priced 4 big hotels or is there some newer small places to stay?

Barek

Thanks to the Angola members, although not much info and a forum that seems too quite,I managed to "survive" in Luanda.
I am leaving tomorrow but I just want to share my experience in this country.
This is not a friendly environment for mongers!
The cost of living in Angola is so horrendous that the simplest thing to get in Africa gets an exorbitant price here.
I did find that most of the babes in the streets do not interact as in most african countries, and they are beautiful....if we don´t speak portuguese it is hard to conect.
Thanks to Zecanarciso I went to Paulo´s and I managed to get a chick back to the hotel( at Tropico I had to pay the extra), but I did find more interesting a bar close by Paulo and easy to find ,were lots of chicks "attack" on the street.
My other good experience was at the Tropico Main lobby Bar were I did find a nice Mulata that spent all night with me for $150, too much for experience that did promise but did not deliver.
I did find it hard to get any girl apart from WG, and even these too expensive as compared to other African countries.
Oil is defenetively changing the way people behave in this country and too bad for our hobby.
On the other hand as Luanda is not safe at night, I did find in Tropico bar every night one or two ladies wiliig to....but again with high prices.
The Health Club has very good masseuses with happy end....and 50$ for the extra.
Luanda was not my cup of tea on my second visit and i sincerely hope not to be back.
Cheers

Luanda s the most expensive place in the world at the moment. So if you come here be prepared for it. New hotels only next year - 5 at least. If you come for a long period you can rent an apartment and have a good time. People here are friendly. Just bring money.

Angola has not much in terms of pay for sex, although you will find it in practically all angolan cities. For example in Luanda, you will find street workers at the entrance to the Ilha. Locals say they are mostly congolese, I don`t know, never tried. Same thing in Benguela along the beach. same thing in Huambo in the centre.

Thing is the locals love sex, so it is fairly easy to screw local girls who do not work. These girls you can meet everywhere, in shops, restaurants, bars, airports etc

My only complaint about angolan girls is that they are extremely demanding, when they have sex with you, it is not for YOU, it is for THEM. If you can`t perform they will tell you so, straight up.

You have a mixture of races in Angola, white(ish), Black(ish) and everything in between but attitudes to sex are very similar.

I am making another trip to Luanda next week. I will let you know if things are the same or have changed

Judging by Beach Star's report, things have not changed much in Luanda. I was there for most of 2004 and loved it, more p! At#$ than you could shake a stick at. The women there really get into it. Lots of fun. I have thought of going back for a short vacation, but the visa is difficult to obtain. Among other discomforts once arriving, the TAXI situation sucked when I was there. We ended up hiring a car and driver for our whole stay. I am looking forward to go back, the Ilha was my favorite area, lots of fun there nightly.

I'm currently based in Luanda Sul, and I'm curious if anybody has any experience with the hobby in that area. In the two weeks I've been here I haven't seen anything promising yet, and I'm not sure if it's because I'm not looking in the right places, or because the area is just too calm and residential.

Another thing is the general attitude of the local girls - I perceive lots of them to be a bit cold or generally disinterested towards foreigners, so I'm don't quite understand other reports here claiming freebies to be readily available. What's your secret?

Any suggestions and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

The center of town is where the action is and also the Ilha, but you have to travel in, only about 15kms but can take time and is increasingly unsafe. If you have only been in luanda a short while recommend you take a Saturday or Sunday to go and look at Ilha, have lunch or dinner and check out the best places. Any place on either side of the road is worth exploring, it is fairly safe, but, of course very expensive. Best time for hunting is after 11pm.

Your comments about the girls are spot on, initially they always act distant, even in a night club, but they screw like rabbits! You do need to speak portuguese.

I have been here a few days this trip staying in the center, but am already frustrated, it is so much hassle! To make it worse I came from a holiday in Rio!. the problem of transport, why there are no taxis I don`t know, the cost, it is really expensive here, nad the fact you really have to work to get the girls. Don`t have the patience anymore and can`t wait to leave.

Good luck!

I have been back in Luanda after a year away. I went to Zanzibar and Club Royale at the weekend. The better looking girls in Zanzibar wanted $100 and would not come down on price. The girls in Club Royale wanted $150 but came down to $100 when pushed. I wasn't prepared to pay more than $50 so went home alone.

When you are used to paying $20 for much better looking and friendlier girls just up the coast in Pointe Noire, Luanda is a big dissapointment.

I am not surprised, recently Luanda is listed as the most expensive town world-wide. Irrational prices for appartments, food, transportation and girls. And if you do not speak portuguese, just forget it.

But a friend told me, that he saw more beautiful model-type girls than in any other african city, when he was there for a business trip.

What about during day? And any reasonably priced transportation options?

Currently in the city of Luanda, don't go unless you have to. Staying at the Skyna hotel an average 3-4 star but get this they charge 382$ a night! Beer is expensive, food price is ridiculous. Told not to leave the hotel but had a wander down to a small bar just down the hill at the side of the hotel an around a corner, the Bar is called Tendina. This is not a bad place and a few expats hang around here, did spot a couple of hookers in the joint, very skinny bodies but looked very hot decided not worth the risk and the rate is 100$ up. I noticed their minders hanging around outside who literally looked like gorillas so they were serious hard core. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place for anything, weather although warm / hot it seems always overcast, lots of mossies and dangerous to walk around.

May the force be with you.

I returned to Luanda last year. That place was once a good place when it still was a Portuguese city. I served some time north of Luanda in Sao Joao de Zaire with some special units and we usually had every two or three weeks a weekend off to Luanda. At those days you could not spend one Escudo in the field and when we hit Luanda we stayed at the officers club over night and hit the joints in the evening. Those days had been the cheap times. A ST was around 50 Esc. = approx. 8 USD at those days. Tempo passado.

Nowadays going out in Luanda in a decent restaurant or clubs you pay through the nose. I frequented last year Cafe del Mar, Caribe, Coconuts and other places at the Ilha. They are not so expensive as the places downtown but you either have to have a rental car or again you are ripped off by the taxista. During the sun-set several WG are comming out there to score. The asking price is minimum 100 USD for ST. You really do not know what you get for your money. The hotels in Luanda give a shit whome you bring with you as long as the girls are not too obvious a WG. There is no registration of the girls at the hotels and you better lock everything away before you even bring a girl into your room!

If you can avoid Luanda, avoid it.

Carlos Primeros.

Deposed King of Portugal

PS. at those days walking around was also dangerous but we had means to protect us (G3)

If Luanda hasn't changed since 2003, you shouldn't have any problems with finding nice chicas. I lived there for one year and was scoring with nice chicas from all walks of life, the store clerk, at the beach, in my apartment building, walking, a regular was a chic that worked at the cell phone store I bought a cell phone from she never got enough and even a policewoman frequented my apartment. So there are many options in Luanda. How I wish I could get back there someday and see the changes.

hello mate,

i'll be headed to angola on monday for 1 week. where were the best places you found for nightlife out there?girls can be found in many places.

a well known haunt for wgs is pub royale which is close to the sonangol skyscraper down a small alley. they are mainly congolese but a few angolans are there too.

the nearby zanzibar also often has some wgs, often angolan and is a far nicer bar. price is $100 and she will stay overnight but one never knows what service one will receive.

there are many chinese-run massage parlours but they often will not allow access to non-asian clients. price here is around $50 or more st.

the ilha is a bit hit and miss for wgs but is full of regular girls if you can afford it.

it is easy to pick regular girls up from shops, the street, roulottes (street bars run out of hot dog stands) etc but you need to speak portuguese.

and you must always ensure everything is locked up if you take a girl back.

luanda is safe during the day and the city centre is more or less ok at night if you know where you are going and know how to keep to well lit and reasonably busy areas. but you should not walk around the ilha at night.

Have found a guest hous at Cassequel near Airport called Residencial Joana. Price is 12. 000 for a quite decent room. Nearby at the Largo Rio de Janeiro is some street action going on, but thze ladies are in general no beauties. Finally I took a lady from RDC with a big ass. The action was ok, but then she started asking for more money than the 6. 000 agreed on.

I had had great times at the end on the colonial period in the Sao Paulo district. Anybody knows, if there is still action there?

Went to sao Paulo last night. Did not penetrate deeply, because I did not feel secure, but it looks like being no more the famous red light district, same diagnosis for the former red light district in Benguela. This is 5 years back. At the end of the colonial period Angola was a paradise for sex. Angola now is not a country for fast mongering, at least, if you're not a resident. And it is expensive. Next time, I will arrange for stop over in Brazza. Easy for finding nice girls.

It's so sad that Luanda forum is so quiet. The city is full of shapely and juicy ladies, but the night action seems very limited. Especially if you don't speak any Portuguesealthough I keep hearing there are some Namibians around.

There's a new big Chinese hotel / restaurant / spa at Ilha not far from the Caribe restaurant. It's really very clean, massages are a little expensive like everything in this city, but the ladies are beautiful but I got the old one of the lot on account that she knew some basic English. Massage was great but strictly professional extras were not hinted at by her and she didn't pick up on my signs.

So my hunt goes on I am convinced somewhere out there is a real dirty sex underground scene in Luanda!

Please share details guys?

Hi fellas, I'm a newbie to this forum, but I've posted some good reports on the Thai and Cambodian forums. If anyone ever has questions about those places, I'll be happy to answer.

That said, I'm really wondering if there's any updates for Luanda? I could potentially be relocated there due to my company and I'm seeing that this forum is pretty inactive. Surely with such a huge disparity of wealth there would be some pretty ladies looking to make some extra coin, no? I assure you that I've read the forum from top to bottom. The biggest issue is that so much of the info is probably way out of date.

Apologies for asking questions and not volunteering any information. I promise I will report heavily if I do end up there.

Guys,

Any updates out there? The currency is going crazy here and you would think here is action all over the place. I guess if I hit the clubs I might be able to land some FLs but I got personnel and professional reasons why I can't be public with my hobby.

Any incall places that anyone can recommend? I do have a place that I have been able to get a HJ but it's a 50/50 success rate.

Anyways will appreciate any tips.

It seems that some basic parameters shifted in Angola. Since the kwanza has been floated the rate of exchange went from 168 Kwanza down to 400 Kwanza black market. Then my eyes popped out as TAP to compete with the national carrier of Angola lowered their trousers to offer a return flight LISBON-LUANDA to 319 euros and that's return. Luanda used to be depicted as second most expensive city in the world. Not any more. Planning is going in overdrive since I found AirBNB for 10 usd in Luanda. Millions are living in poverty as elsewhere. So there should be cheap pussy in abundance as long as you stay away from the posh clubs in Ilha do Cabo. And there should be loads of metisse gals. And kizomba is plain cool. Any updates on the ground? And I found a portuguese monger site.

Finally this misbegotten country has abandoned its visa policies designed to keep out prying eyes (and other prying things).

With our trip scheduled this summer, they picked the perfect time to turn their currency into confetti.

... they picked the perfect time to turn their currency into confetti.Well, maybe not confetti, but maybe they should rethink their position of using oil and gas revenues as the sole funding source. The currency is predicted to go down another 10% or so this year vs. The USD. Maybe it is time to brush up on Portuguese!

For those guys who complain about Brazil not being like it used to be these days, it looks like it's a golden opportunity to experience a culture similar to Brazil in Luanda now that their currency has devalued. If you speak Portuguese, there isn't a better place in the world to visit right now.

£340 London to Luanda return. Mid jJune, air France.

Visa application online $125 before travel. On arrival you recieve your visa.

Apartment, central near beach £155 for seven nights. Booking dot cum.

The drawback. You are not gaurenteed money from ATM's once in Angola. You are advised to take enough currency for the duration of your trip.

Do they check for Yellow fever jab? I'm not a fan of these needle programs, but having said that I had a jab about ten yeas back but no longer have the yellow book as proof.

Visa application online $125 before travel. Tourists will not come at that visa price and if anyone think its negligible look what happen to Uganda visa when they try to get 100 USD. Gates empty and in weeks they drop it back to 50.

For Senegal I can get in for for 50 euro and girls are the best models but black not mixed. But its seems they don't need tourist anyway. I remember 10 years ago I landed in Cameroon hoping to get visa on arrival, wrong assumption they send my ass back on the first plan out to Mombasa.

A few years ago they introduced the visa for 50 euro, but the result was a dramatic drop in tourism, so they hastily reversed that action and now it's free again.

BTW, beautiful girls indeed, but most of them are business minded.

Are the Angolan girls hot and horny in the bed?Internetdating in a country where most people can't afford a smart phone is the least of my worries. Hot??? Is the pope a catholic??? And that video shows you all you need to know about the praias and mulheres.

https://youtu.be/thLMZIWHABQ

Better start learning basic portugues.

My biggest worry is getting a visa and getting it extended as I want to max. Out my stay to 60 days. Fortunately I found a very helpful thread:

https://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree********africa/angola/angola-s-new-e-visa-tourist-visa-on-arrival-share-stories-here

Flights from LIS dirt cheap.

Neddy.

And here is the key post:
I was able to extend my SME evisa for a further 30 days in Benguela. If you want to do this, first go into the SME office there and take a photo of the page showing what you'll need to apply:

two passport photos

colour photocopies of your passport bio and visa pages

completed application form (you pay for this)
a notarized letter in Portuguese explaining why you want to stay longer (the notary is picky about what the letter looks like, it must be a formal letter with all your info in the header, addressed properly, signed, etc)

It took two days to get the extension. I didn't have to bring in my original evisa approval page or anything.
The Luanda SME office has the reputation of being slower, less friendly and more chaotic than the Benguela branch

The cost of a dating site will be insignificant to the cost of the visa and the plane ticket to Angola from outside of Africa. As noted below, flights may be cheap from Lisbon. But, how much would it cost you to get to Lisbon from say, any given place in the US, or India if that be the case?

Unlike Brazil where women walk around barely clad, Africans don't show much skin. In some countries its illegal to show her thigh or mid drift. I haven't been to every African country but, the ones I went to women won't even wear shorts. And many don't on the beach.

The video shows bikinis. Do Angolans wear shorts in public?

Don't forget the Portuguese colonies were part of the Portuguese motherland rather than colonies. And the Portuguese had a policy of Integration unlike the former British colonies which were ruled indirectly. So yeah. Perfectly normal wearing bikinis. Its not Senegal. But of course you'll never see african ladies sunbathing as they tend to get more tanned. All chicas want to look light skinned. Thats why they use skin bleaching creams. Angola should have loads of metisse as the Portuguese and French colonisers didn't have any inhibitions sleeping with local chicas versus the British who found "going native" quite shocking...

In 2004, I was in Ghana Labadi Beach when a commotion began. Three very good looking young white tourists in bikinis showed up. The word spread through the beach and Ghanian men rapidly began to amass around them. The crowd wasn't satisfied with looking and many started making physical contact. The ladies didn't stay long enough to sit down and soon were shuttled away in a surrounded taxi. After the taxi left, a smaller animated crowd lingered. A bikini bottom was being ripped from one hand to another.

I've seen tourists on the beach there before and after but that experience was almost traumatizing.

That's one of the reasons I asked the bare skin question. I've seen exposed skin on video of African countries but almost never have I seen it myself except for tourists.

WHITE meat attracts a lot of black guys. For them its like Christmas and Easter together. Perfectly normal. Most local chics can't even afford bathing gear. In Mombasa there is used Bikinis for rent. yuck. Some girls use Bikinis on a public beach. But only for swimming. After that they cover up right away. A different story on private Hotel pools. I gave swimming lessons to some hot bikini clad ebony chicas in a private hotel pool in Jinja. Very enjoyable. But I agree many public beaches especially in muslim dominated places like Senegal you see the woman enter the water with full dress on.

Hi,

Reading some posts about other countries I read detailed replies. Here it seems there more silence, so much so that I'm not sure to stay in Angola for fun even if I go there for business. After working I will have 20 free days and I like to have fun with some girls. I'm thinking to leave Angola to reach other African countries because there are no news here. I will have to buy the flight ticket in advance, so I need some more precise info, please. I don't like pro girls and I'm enough old even if good looking. I speak fluent Spanish and a little Portuguese.

I like indigenous girls and so in all African countries I always look for pretty girls but not sophisticated girls. I'd like to spend 20 days in Lubango and to be with every girl for 5-6 days. But I don't know their behavior at all.

I'd like to ask general questions even if I already know that everything is subjective:

Is it easy to approach girls? Are they shy or not? Is it easy to have sex in short time? Are they funny or not? Are they hot in the bed? How do they make sex? Do they give blow jobs and anal? How much money do I have to spend on gifts a day (around)?

When I talk to girls in other countries online I notice they are cheerful and they love talking. I'm noticing a different behavior of Angolan girls compared to other African girls.

Do I make an error to stay in Lubango for 20 days? Is it better to stay also in Luanda for 10 days, even if Luanda is more expensive than Lubango? I will like to rest and I don't like an important night life.

I hope someone who knows Angola can brighten this forum on Angola with some good and detailed news.

Thank you.

Since the Ugandan government created the post of the Ethics minister Minis and hot pants are banned on the streets of Kampala but the girls found a work around by wearing tight leggins which while covering everything they reveal everything. In the clubs the girls change clothes. And on hotel or private pools you can see bikini clad chicas.

Neddy.Black market rate for kwanza.

Under www.kinguilahoje.com or rokesanteiro.com there is information about the actual black market rate for the usd.

Now around 500 kwa / usd. The official rate is around 370 kwa / usd.

Since around 2013 several supermarket chains in Angola like kero, maxi and shoprite Angola. Average of prices for sure 30% less than Kenya. Leaflet with specials under shoprite. Co. Ao.

Full information click the icon with 3 white bars and then under specials.

Probably many items from South Africa free of duty. 2 kgs. Of sugar 1 usd, bottle of beer 0,25 LT. 0. 30 usd etc. Also several new breweries so stiff competition.

The minimum salary in Angola is between 21000 - 32000 kwa depending the occupation, agriculture low and financials high.

That means between usd 40 to 60.

The minimum salary in Angola is between 21000 - 32000 kwa depending the occupation, agriculture low and financials high.

That means between usd 40 to 60. .

-.

So why the hell.

Angola is rated as one of the most.

Expensive countries?

John.Luanda was named most expensive city worldwide in Expat surveys. In the past. Obviously 75% of the population always scraping by at less than 2 $ a day. Most food was imported. Its a [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) poor country. The only rich people are the ones connected to Sonangol and the Diamond mining. Everybody else lives in barrios.

Neddy.

And 32.000 kwanza used to be 190 euros. Not any more...

This is true. In Africa, I have only been to Angola, Kenya, Congo, Chad, Cameroon, Nigeria, Cote Ivoire, South Africa, and Egypt. So I only know a few places. Of the countries I did visit, Angola was my favorite for mongering. I will have to try Uganda sometime. That being said, I cannot imagine Uganda having girls that are as hot as the girls in Angola because Angola has the Portuguese mix mulata chicks who are hot as hell.

I agree with Neddy that the key is having a car and driver. The girls may be easy, but getting around in Angola is not so easy. You cannot compare Uganda with Angola. In Uganda you have black beauties with big asses and tits. And squirting central. Angola has different specialties for sure. Mulatas.

Neddy.

Who is in the planning phase. But right now Madagascar moved to the top priority. Again. LOL. As much as I would like to make Kizomba moves with a red hot angolan mulatta.

No idea about Mozambique but for some reason I like kizomba and judging by the way the Angolanas are moving my suspicion is that they're HOT. I always look at how a chic moves on the dance floor. That's how she dances on your dick.

I'm sorry but I have to contradict you. I asked a tour agency a car with a driver including fuel in Lubango and they asked 600 dollars a day. Now I'd like to rent a furnished apartment in Luanda and I have just noticed the price starts from 45 euros to 100 euros a day. Make a search on AirBnb please. I will travel in some months and I hope those prices will decrease.I thought you go there for work? So let your company provide a car with driver. Or how you're going around?? I never said anything about renting. And obviously if you try to book a car or accommodation over the internet you get quoted crazy prices. What do you expect. Quite normal. Are you sure you have been to Africa before? Judging the way you are acting and talking its better for you to book a tourist package to Thailand...

Neddy.

I don't know but why I write that the umpteenth time... There is links provided where i posted a travel report of a guy on Thorntree forum providing info on cheap accommodation. As for a car in Lubango. Walk around. Talk to a local with a decent looking car. Ask him to drive you around a day/night. Make sure it's a younger guy and asking him where you go to find girls to fuck. Pay him a few beers an donate him 20 usdollar for fuel and his time a day. Voila. You're done. Its Africa man. Everything and everyone is for sale.

Neddy. It's been too long. I can't recall. But the Kwanza has recently devalued greatly. For sure I never paid 100 usd even back then for a girl. But we did pay 100 usd at that stupid little Chinese restaurant for food. That food would have cost about 15 usd in the US. I was there at the most expensive time in Angola. I was on expense account and never worried about food, transport, and boarding expense. My only expense was the girls and alcohol.

Miami was a beach area with restaurants. I never went to any clubs there at night nor picked up any girls from that area. I just went to have lunch and watch the girls in their bikinis while I sat at a table next to the beach. If you've ever been to Rio De Janeiro, it's similar to body watching on the beaches there (of course though not as good as in Brazil). There is some excellent eye candy there on weekends. I often did see girls at the beach that I had been with from the various nightclubs.

There are great nightclubs in the city that are awesome, but the ones where I picked girls up were not from that Miami area. It's a fun area though and with prices down now, I would definitely check it out. I'm not saying I wouldn't suggest picking girls up from that area, I just never did. The big night clubs are easier and better pick up spots.

I used to have the locals from the office take me out with them. They know the spots and are great wingmen for meeting the ladies since I speak zero Portuguese.

Neddy. That may be true. One night in Luanda, I was out at like 3 am with some of the local guys. While we were driving in the city, some guys with guns blocked our car and made us get out. They jumped in the car but couldn't figure out how to drive it since it was an automatic transmission. They jumped out and hijacked the next car that came by that was a manual transmission and took off. LOL. They didn't hurt us or take our money though.

Many of my wildest stories involving girls are stories from Angola. Those girls are wild party girls. Fun as hell and up for pretty much anything. One night, there were like 10 of us guys from the office in a bar when it closed around 3 or 4 am. Since the bar closed, we decided to take every attractive girl from the bar back to one of the guy's houses. There were about 15 of them who came with us. What a fun as hell night that was! Those girls were all naked dancing and running around that house. Awesome.

At this point I think I will stay in Angola for a bit more that one month: 10 days to work and 20 days to have fun.

May be I make an error because I don't know Angola yet but I think it isn't the right country for me. Do you know why? But I hope you can contradict me.

I'm old, I like quiet relationships. I don't like parties and night clubs and I don't like a lot to drink. After 10 days of hard work, I like to rest, to be with my GF in my apartment for a lot of time and to play together. I love to joke around.

Usually I choose my preys on Internet. I talk with each them for one month before before leaving. They become my GF alsost in real way. I usually choose 3 preys and I usually stay with them for one week. I know many places in the world, I went many times even in Venezuela and I know West Papua but I know Africa so little. I know well only Uganda, Namibia, Ethiopia. Usually I make few posts because my posts are not interesting for the guys here who are younger than me and they like another kind of fun, to reach night clubs, beach, drink alcohol. Etc. Etch. For example I when I where in Uganda I went with them in some good restaurants with music and rarely to dance. Therefore I know just a few night clubs. I have always been in my apartment with the girls coocking together, taking pictures, watching TV, listen music with my computer, etc. And I assure you that they all had a great time with me in Uganda. They like to meet me again, again, again. For this reason I have Uganda in my heart. Maybe you don't believe me but Ugandan girls are crazy about me. They love me.

Now, I ask you some good places in Luanda as well as Miami and in Lubango to stay 10+10 days for mongering. In your opinion will be nice to be 20 days in Lubango? I have just found a good apartment. In my opinion I can find in Lubango girls similar to the Ugandan girls for their behavior (who are happy with quiet life). But maybe I'm wrong and it's better that I will always be in Luanda. I'm looking for practical tips. I thank you for some info.

1) Do regular girls watch out for the huge age gap, more that other African countries?

2) In Luanda, if a regular girl is with me for the whole day and even at night, how much money could I give her if I like to give her money?

For me it is important to know how much do I have to spend on gifts or cash for regular girls who spend the night with me or an entire afternoon with me. Friends, I'm very disappointed with Angola. It is impossible to talk to Angolan girls. They all want to know you and meet you, but then nobody writes me to know each other in the coming days. So I don't know what kind of girls there are in Angola. I need to know it before my departing. I will have to buy the ticket in 10-15 days and if no one answers in an exhaustive way to my questions that I asked in my previous posts, after my work in Angola, I will run away from this hateful country very quickly. Maybe it is hateful only in appearance and living there for a month, it could enter into your heart. But since I'll have to buy the ticket soon, then I won't be able to modify it anymore and I won't be able to do any post about Angola. For now I can say that Angola is definitely not for me. Any other African country is an earthly heaven compared to Angola. I can talk with every girl in the world but not with Angolan girls.

However I am noticing that Angolan girls usually connect rarely and no more than every 2-3 days. Also for this reason it is difficult to talk to them. But I'm seeing that they are fussy. It isn't so easy to have them take a few days off to be able to stay together for full time.

I think the best you can do, is to socialize with your co-workers, locals and also expats like you. There are many facilities for entertainment.

I never was in Angola, but I have done some research in the internet. Here some facts:

- There is a quite big expat community long term and on short assignment like you. There is also a small wealthy upper class and some professionals. There is much more wealth in Luanda than Kampala. So many hotspots to cater to their needs.

- Generally speaking in Luanda there is the CBD where is the modern city and there most of the expats are working and living.

Then most of the entertainment is at the Ilha and Barra. Nearby there are some small neighbourhoods for the middle class.

The vast majority of the people is living in the slums around. Around 20 and more kms. Out of the city centre the Chinese have built.

Very big urbanizations for the middle class. Many vacant sites, and blocks in disrepair. Quite a lot of crime also, therefore no need.

To go there for cheap fling.

The social classes are more or less separated so you cannot walk around like in Kampal and mingling everywhere.

- Brazilian influence, so good nightlife, for sure more sofisticated than Kampala, also call girl services available with Brazilians.

And local mulatas. Expensive.

Look on youtube the songs of the band Irmaos Verdades. They play various songs with kizomba mix. The girls in the clips are gorgeous.

It is a pity that there are so few of them! My prefered song is: Yara.

I don't like pro, I don't like bars, I don't like discos, I don't like nightlife but certainly I can do all this sometimes. For all these reasons I have been asking for the behavior of the girls of Angola for several times. I'd like to talk with some girls for one month before my arrival in Angola, to choose 2-3 girls, the most beautiful and comfortable of them and to spend a vacation together for a full time. In all other African countries, not only girls answer "yes", but all them hope to spend many days together for full time. After a month of talking to Angolan girls, I still haven't figured out whether they can or want do it or not. For this I probably, I will make my work in Angola, and immediately I will flee from Angola. I don't like their culture at all, until a guy who knows well Angola makes me change my mind.

I believe that Ebic Sana Luanda Hotel is the only published place to have the magical combination of a nightclub with girls and a hotel in the same place.

My main problem about Ebic Sana that it's too expensive on my usual travel package.

Any advice for any other hotel with the magical hotel+nightclub option (even if the nightclub / bar is not in the same building).

I'm looking for the hotels with rates under the 100 usd.

Tried to google, TripAdvisor and even wikisexguid and l useless for Luanda.

This is a little strange for me, as usually I find this option in other African countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and even in Dubai, but for some reason I can't find it in Luanda.

Any advice?

Any advice for any other hotel Airbnb may be your best option because hotels also use the site now. You can contact hotels direct and tell them what you are willing to pay. I've been following some of the "Nomads" who budget travel. Nomadic Matt is one who recommends Booking.com and a few other sites. He puts discount codes on his site. Try similar sites. Don't even bother with Andy from Hobo Traveler. The bad thing about Google and other search engines is that the sites that list first in a query use companies to constantly query them to keep them at or near the top. The best sites are buried deep in the wwworld. I'm still trying to dig them out. Sorry I can't be more definite.

The visa authorization was received only one day after applying. Cost will be 120 usd payable at arrival. Interestingly, it seems to allow multiple entries, with the date range of 120 days, maximum 30 days for any one stay. For hotel, an airbnb reservation (not yet prepaid) was sufficient. Too easy, really.

No longer the 'most expensive city in the world'. Photo of view from $48 a night penthouse room in front of the beach at Isla do Cabo.

Can something cheaper be found? Probably — consult Noddy's A Dirtbag's Guide to Africa. Other expense commodities: lunch 2-3 dollars; big bottle of water 30 cents; beer $1-2; ride to beach or around town in blue and white taxi van 25 cents; ride on Angolan girl all night - 50% of whatever she quotes you.

Basic info: with visa on arrival, first present your Yellow Fever cert, then go to small office to pay $120 fee and get stamped. No need to stand in immigration line. To avoid airport taxi ripoff: either arrange in advance with hotel, or walk outside airport and get one on street (not advised after dark). Metered Taxis in Luanda are expensive: always get a fixed price. Everyone you meet will recommend their guy or offer to call a trusted taxi for you: do it. I got an airport ride this way for $4 when the Airport meter rate was $30.

Hotels don't even ask for girls' I. The. Downtown in front of the harbor is Faias Residence at $65: quiet, new, comfortable, Portuguese-run, from where you can walk to the Epic Sana (note: where hookers are). Located in nicer area of town where are restaurants and strollable streets is Suite Hotel Maianga.

On Isla do Cabo developed areas are: Just over the bridge with hotels in $100 range, including one in the Chez Wu chain. From there, walk to The Test Private and the Club. Middle of the cabo around Naval Station and Tamariz are several places. Cervejaria Fininho was the place where older Portuguese guys are drink dining with their dates with freelancers nursing their beers. Far end is Miami beach club, dead except weekends. Restaurants start closing by 11:00 and the street and beach gets quiet — and dangerous if hearsay is to be believed. In the clubs, it's very much a cocktail culture, with some real original concoctions. Beer is cheap. There are small beer bars all the the beach, especially weekends where it's packed (somewhat Brazilian style).

Note: there is NO tourism here in this city, hence no ground zero. Foreigners are here for work, and Portuguese have their businesses (and Angolan wives and kids a lot of them). If you get a tip on a disco somewhere in the city, there is the transportation issue to overcome, plus the likelihood of being the only muzunga in the place. Cabo is fully stocked with what you want. BTW: the typical Angolan body here (before ruined by childbirth) is as outstanding as they come anywhere. Suprisingly, there was little street action, probably because the young Angolan guys are all over any good-looking girl like a pack of hyenas.

The Kwanzaa: can get some at the airport in Lisbon. Supposedly you're only allowed to bring into the country amount of 50,000, which is like 80€.

In Luanda, ask at your hotel and they'll call a moneychanger over for you. Rate was 58,000 for 100 USD. You're not allowed (supposedly) to take any out of the country (not that you'the want to) and note at the airport cambios the only currency they had on offer for which to change your kwanzaas was DRC money. There guys outside who'll change for you or you can get rid of them in the airport shops, which are surprisingly decent for souvenirs and local products.

Airbnb option is likely located in a 50-year-old Portuguese apartment block. Or neighborhood you might not want to be in. But, if you're a connoisseur of these places, why not go for it.

No longer the 'most expensive city in the world'. Photo of view from $48 a night penthouse room in front of the beach at Isla do Cabo.

Can something cheaper be found? Probably consult Noddy's A Dirtbag's Guide to Africa. Other expense commodities: lunch 2-3 dollars; big bottle of water 30 cents; beer $1-2; ride to beach or around town in blue and white taxi van 25 cents; ride on Angolan girl all night - 50% of whatever she quotes you.
Good info. thanks for sharing!! So how much you was paying for all night? whatever she quotes you 50 percent of means nothing one can quote 100 dollar other can 20 dollar.

And after all those complex arithmetic calculation of generic price not even a word about girls?Aw, reading and typing one-handed and you need some help. Sorry to disappoint you. You need generic girl prices? There aren't any: freelancers set their own, and it has a lot to do with who is propositioning them. Saturday night I went out for dinner and came across a street fair next to Anthropology museum where the street was closed, there was a stage, DJ, dancing, food cart, cocktails, total party vibe. The drinks' server girls awesome model quality bodies, thin willowy frames, racked and round-bottom — just the perfect type that abound in this city. After setting up an encounter with one, she saw me leaving with another girl who was there to party, so there was no way to follow up. But the next day was Sunday, beach time. Just park yourself by a beer keg street bar: it's $4 for the first hour all you can drink, $2 for the next hour, then $1 for the third. Drink to you drop, or something drops into your lap.

One thing that's really good in this town is nobody bothers you on the street or in public. No eye contact. No harassment. But, once you get one alone, Angolan girls are friendly, engaging and down for fun. And there's a strong youth slant in the demographics.

With girls in Africa, you quickly see it's more about the tribe rather than the city or country. Within the country, of course it's about residual European colonizer influences in Luanda (being the capital) there's proper food, they're all speaking Portuguese, even the hotel maids and kids although they speak their own language amongst themselves. The visa they gave, BTW, only good for 30 days but is for multiple entries, go figure.

So, off to Huambo and see what tribes are indigenous in this region.

Since there's so many PM's, pictures of discos. The Zuwo is closed for repairs, but supposed to open for New Years'. Located right at the entrance to the street where the poorer people (as in girls who could use a little cash) on Cabo live, and the beach where they go. The Epic Sana has some kind of a club but the girls that don't want to go in (or else not allowed) are sitting out in front or across the street waiting to meet you.

Badoo, Tinder: sitting in a hotel room waiting for a hooker to show up not my thing.

Is it worth going here with no Portuguese?

I love a girl with a nice body but a nice face is most important to me.

I upgraded my tinder to change locations and the girls in Luanda look much prettier than Nairobi imo.

Only interested in short times, so having a GFE doesn't matter to me.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for any help.I didn't do any that spoke English, and in Huambo two that only spoke tribal.

You might find this helpful. At Hotel Costa in Luanda, their rules stated a guest could have up to four girls visiting in the room at the same time, but only one could stay overnight. So, there you go: try them all.

A lot of times girls won't leave til morning for the usual reasons: your nice bathroom, risk of being raped on the way home, or she fell instantly in love with you. Just get one off the beach for short timing.

Checked in today to the Epic Sana. The nightclub is closed, groan. There is a bar, which sometimes has 1 or 2 girls, but they looked a little hardened.

I hit the dating sites and was flattered to get lots of matches. Badoo worked better than Tinder in that regard. Most girls don't speak English, which leaves little room for my sparkling wit. Got some numbers to move to WhatsApp. One called me, she lived nearby, and offered to meet me in 15 minutes. That was convenient.

She spoke reasonable English, having had a Canuck BF for several years. She was very sweet, but it became clear that a recompensed arrangement was in the cards. She asked me to "help her" in whatever way I can.

In the room, the sesh was excellent, a mixture of GFE and PSE. Lots of kissing and teasing. BJ was deep and strong. As much foreplay as I wanted. Like most Africans, she liked her fucking long and strong. She got a towel and rode me cowboy and squirted. That was a first. A nice warm feeling in my balls, and some reached my face LOL.

Finish was porn style with me standing and her kneeling as I jacked off onto her face and mouth. Afterwards she rubbed the sperm into her face and gave me a nice post-cum suck. I had an early start so I sent her off after that.

She didn't ask for a specific amount so I put Kw 30 K ($55) in her bag. She didn't look or count. Will definitely repeat.

Took the same girl again. Another great sesh. Like most Africans she likes doggy style, so I duly obliged, with long and hard strokes. She was wetter than an otter's pocket, but no squirting this time. As this was the second date, we went BBFS. Her BJ has strong suction, and she goes deep. She can take face fucking too. The finish was CIM and she swallowed, complementing me on the taste of the milk. It must be the fruit, I'm eating a lot of it.

Despite all of the pornstar action, her demeanour is very sweet and girl-next-door. Afterwards, she showed me some Kizomba dance steps and gave me a good massage. Pure bliss for the weary businessman.

The hotel bar had 2 hookers. Nothing special but at least there was availability there.

What are the best dating sites for Angola?

I'd like to rent an apartment in Luanda but for a short time, around for 20 days.

I know there is airbnb but their prices are too expensive for me, maybe because you have to pay in euros. I look for another web site where it is possible to rent a good small apartment and to pay in kwanza or even in euros, but not those airbnb prices.

Thank you for some info.

Did the government raise the salaries fivefold to keep up with the inflation? So I figure in local terms things like restaurants the locals go to or prices for chicas will not go up that much. Imported goods like cars or imported foodstuff cannot be affordable any more for people with local salaries. I am going to live like king with Dolares Norte Americanos or Euros. I must tell you that I have traveled many countries of the world in my life and always alone, from West Papua to Cameroon and Angola (but I know only Lubango), etc. Etc. Etc. So I know Thailand well and the prices there are too. But even though I've traveled a lot, I haven't had sex everywhere. I don't have much experience in this regard. I know more about people's culture but little about women's cunts. Ahahahah.

Sometimes I seem a bit confused and naive in my posts, this is because I'd like to receive more detailed answers from people who know a particular country well, in order to better understand the culture of the people.

However, I know that sometimes you can find good apartments at a much lower price than what you see on AirBnb. You just need to know a local who helps you. For this reason I had asked that question, hoping someone had given me some tips.

And I add that I would like to be comfortable even in countries where there is no infrastructure and when I find a good GF (non pro), I like to live well with her. But no one has told me yet how girls from Angola (in general) fuck compare to others from African countries.

Is their rating high or low or average?

Now you have caught me, I am a little weird. Ahahahaha.

Just arrived in Luanda.

Current entry requirements are as follows:

At least 72 hours before arrival, apply online for your tourist visa. During the application process, you will need to upload images of your passport, COVID vaccination, proof of funds, and return airline ticket.

Within a few days, you will receive an email with your visa pre-approval attached as a .pdf

Print ALL documents from the previous 2 steps and carry them with you to Angola. Upon arrival, you will show all documents to the immigration official and pay $120 USD in cash. They will not accept any other currency. If you do not have U.S. dollars, then you must exchange your currency at the airport for dollars. There are ATMs for cash withdrawals (in local kwanza).

You will receive a multiple-entry visa which is valid for 30 days. Immigration said the visa can be renewed two times for a total of 90 days.

I'm staying in the city center. Found a hotel with breakfast included on Expedia for 15,000 kwanza ($35) per night. I just arrived so haven't formed much of an opinion of the city, but I can say that Luanda ladies are VERY active on Tinder. I plan to stay for at least a week. More updates on the way.

I have just finished my trip in South America and black girls here are more attractive then black girls from East Africa (Uganda and Kenya). Most black girls in South America have their roots in the Western African countries and many from Angola. Great that somebody can give an update report. I am thinking about going in October because the flights are very cheap then. Especially from Madrid. Just a shame the kwanza has recovered with the high oil prices. Will you exchange dollars on the black market? What is the current rate on the black market. Some girls on tinder said you get double.

Observations after a couple of days:

The typical lady I see is dark-skin, slim, medium height. Most also wear their natural hair, nails, eyelashes, and skin. Not so many hair weaves, wigs, heavy makeup, or skin bleaching. I personally prefer these natural women.

English speakers are few, so Portuguese is very useful. I learned the language while in Brazil. And even thought the dialect is different, Angolans have no problem understanding. They watch a lot of Brazilian movies, television, and news, so they are accustomed to it.

Tinder is all you need for online. Set your location to Luanda, and be prepared.

If you prefer to hunt in person, then stroll to Avenida 4 de Fevereiro. It's located downtown and features a mall called Shopping Fortaleza as well as Marginal da Baia which is a seaside boardwalk full of people walking, jogging, eating, vending, and sitting on numerous public benches. For daytime pickup, this place is a goldmine.

As of mid-July 2022, the parallel (black market) rate for exchanging US Dollars is 490 kwanza. This is about 15% better than the official bank rate of 423. Also interesting to note that women hold the cash and exchange your currency in the streets here. First time I've ever seen that.

Luanda is more expensive than other African cities I've visited. Costs of food, transport, hotels, entertainment are noticeably high here. And even though it's possible to exchange dollars / euros on the street for a better rate (see above), this still doesn't offset the elevated prices.

Ilha de Cabo, an island just off the coast of downtown Luanda, has about 5 kilometers of beautiful, pristine beaches. This morning I walked the island's beachfront avenue to explore hotel options, and I counted 10 city workers whose job it is to clean the beaches daily. Not something I often see on this continent.

Neddy, that website has old info. You can even see the date stamp is 25th of July. Today is only the 12th of July, so that website hasn't been updated for almost a year.

I'm now in Luanda, and I visited several street exchanges (see my Initial Impressions post). I even showed that website to the ladies exchanging dollars on the street. All of them told me the black-market rate has fallen due to government crackdowns (as Taurus1 mentioned below). The street rate is now 490 kwanza to 1 USD.

Do you speak Portuguese? How much are the ladies asking for?

Tottem, yes I learned Portuguese while traveling in Brazil. Speaking the language helps a lot.

As for prices, there are lots of Luandan women on Tinder, so I have only used it thus far. Universities are on holiday for about 3 months. Lots of bored students at home looking for fun. I typically give 8,000 kwanza (~$16 USD) to help with transport and groceries. Have received no complaints so far.

Maybe your sample size is not enough yet to make an statement.Tottom, after my first week, I'll compare the ladies of Luanda physically with Kenyan ladies of the Luo and Luya ethnic groups. Tall, slim, athletic, and very dark skin. Performance in both countries is great, so it comes down to other factors like travel costs, ease of visiting, preferred language (Portuguese vs. English), etc.

I'll also add that I really like Luanda as a city. Unlike many other African capitals, Luanda doesn't feel overcrowded. It's not overrun with motorbikes, the traffic laws are somewhat obeyed, and this city has amazing beaches along with countless plazas, public spaces, and boardwalks which locals and tourists can enjoy.

The main downside for me is the higher prices for transport, food, housing, etc. But this could be due to my ignorance of how things can work here. For example, if I decided to stay for some months, then I could discover how to live within the local economy and reduce these costs.

After a couple of weeks, I'm disovering the local economy. Considering the crazy high tourist prices like $20 USD for a hamburger and fries and another $20 to take a taxi across town, it's necessary to learn how the Luandans handle these daily expenses.

For transport, they take share taxis, which are large blue and white vans that go all over the city. Each ride is 250 kwanza (60 cents USD). There are also ride-sharing apps like Heetch and Yango. I find rides on Yango to be about half the price of Heetch.

As for dining out, there are numerous affordable restaurants. The problem is they don't typically have signs or advertising. You just have to know where to go. So I ask people on the street where the locals eat. I'm currently on Ilha de Luanda and have found several restaurants next to the Naval Base which offer lunch / dinner for 1,000 kwanza. A meal here includes rice, beans, fish or chicken, and salad. You can add another 200 kwanza for a soda or bottle of water.

As for the ladies, I continue to have success with Tinder. It's currently the cold season (high temp of 23 during the day) so most are inside and on their phones. Not a lot of people on the beaches because the water is freezing cold, and the night scene is quiet. So online apps like Tinder are full of bored, beautiful ladies. I schedule their visits 24 hours in advance, and they come to my hotel. I pay all transport costs and give 6,000 - 8,000 kwanza when they leave to help with groceries.

I'm curious to know what Luanda is like during their summer. I like what I see and can imagine this place really comes alive during the warmer months.

If I recall the blue and white Vans are called Toca Tocas. Keep it coming. Check out prices of cheap guest houses. They have to exist. No local pays crazy prices for accommodation. Ilha do Cabo is of course tourist area. If there's any except Portuguese. I heard french are investing heavy these days. Good Tipp with yango.

Keep it coming.

If you negotiated and you end up paying same as in Europe for pussy then you are doing something wrong. Even the fought striking you is clear evidence.Yes, that's why I visited this forum. I paid 30 k for my first encounter, and felt it. Because everything is so expensive in this city, I thought it might be the norm. Reading how you fellas are paying less than 10 k is surprising, but good news. All the ladies on Tinder start out at 50 k when I ask 'how much for an hour'. I'll be offering 10 k to my next date from here out. I watched how rich dopes drove prices up in Thailand the PI, and I wouldn't want to be that guy.

Keep that in mind. So 8 k to a broke university student is still more money than working people make in a whole week. It's also very helpful to speak Portuguese. These ladies are fun, talkative, and love to flirt.

Revolut offers 726 Kwanza to the Euro as of today. What does it mean? The black market rate is gone. No need for that. As it is the official rate now. With COVID and all the rest of rubbish travel restrictions gone time to dust off my Portuguese and Kizomba skills. Plus. TAAG offers good deals from Lisbon to Luanda. Ticks all of my boxes. The only drawback might be winter approaching. Travel planning shifting in high gear. Muito bem.

With Angola doing away with visas I'm strongely considering Angola for next year. However is the expensive cost of living in Luanda overblown? Because some people make it seem like its Switzerland expensive. Now I like fancy / nice restaurants and some of the prices were SLIGHTLY more expensive than Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and South Africa (African countries I been to) but less expensive than USA.

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of visiting Angola this summer. I wonder how safe Angola is? E. g. , can I walk around alone at the daytime / at night?

I'm planning to stay is Luanda. Never been to Sub-Saharan Africa.

Thanks.
