Hi,
One more question to my friends in Dar. How risky is it to invite some lady whom I might have met for the first time into my hotel room where my stay ID booked?
I mean is it OK or should I avoid it.

A pro I picked at Q Bar / Triniti / High Spirit, I would not want her to know where I am staying. And they usually know hotels / guest houses where to go for a fuck. If you plan only to fuck her, and not spending a romantic night there, you should get a suitable solution for 30 - 40k max.
Usually all those guest houses sell condoms at the reception. If Harbour View doesn't and you want to bring a girl there, make sure that you buy some at a pharmacy ("Duka la Dawa" in Kiswahili, 1k), as bars and restaurants do normally not sell such articles.

Below are my reports for each of three nights. I was not much into the LT thing, hence preferred the girls in the late evenings.
Day- 1.
Had gone to a restaurant in Holiday Inn for dinner. Saw a pretty face in a group sitting across my table. Tried to convey my intentions, but was finding it difficult. I guessed that after a couple of times when our eyes crossed each other, she realized that I was sending some signals. Then I signaled her to come outside for a smoke, so as to get her away from the group for a few minutes. When we talked for a few minutes, and exchanged numbers. When I left, she signaled that she would call me back. It was barely an hour, and I received her call. Invited to the bar of the hotel where I was staying, After a couple of drinks, went into our room.
Both of us took a shower which included a BJ, and then on to bed. After some sweet talk for about 30 minutes, finally got into the act. Must say, the DFK which she gave was one of the best. In any case, I get rolled on by DFK's. And finally, it came, and was one of the best satisfying moments for me. Finally, bade her goodbye with a chocolate. Total Charges was 70,000 including the beers.

Met a Arab, chatted with her for 20 minutes, during which she informed that her sister was available for 100 USD. Flatly refused, and then negotiated for USD 50. She showed me the girl, and the first of the foolish thing, I did was not to talk to the girl directly.
15 minutes, after I went to the room, the lady along with the girl came, and I paid the money to her, and 10,000 TZS as her commission. After the lady left, the girl started showing her attitude. She said to hurry up, no DFK, no BJ etc. Finally, just to account for the money spent, I came on her, and threw her out immediately after.
I guess, I had to have it this way, when without much information, I tried to do things differently. But having said so, the first two days with the local Tanzanian girls, were awesome, something to cherish.
Unfortunately, couldn't catch up with the guys, but hopefully, some day, we will have a drink together.

Quite a busy few days. On Friday morning a miscommunication in time lead to a missed meeting with a lady from Badoo. Feeling somewhat frustrated, I visited Hong Kong massage. And sorry that you had a disappointing experience as well. Somehow you never can avoid that in that business.
What I never do wherever on the globe: if I have to negotiate a girl down by 50%, then I just don't take her. After that negotiation, her service will be inevitably poor. That held true in all cases I experienced in my life, hence that thumbs rule of mine.
And at least here in Tanzania, girls from other places than Africa usually seem to be disappointments. Few reports on that in here, none of them positive. I did not happen yet to try that here myself, though.

Yes. Anybody coming down by 50% should have been understood to be poor in service. Learned it the hard way though.
But not complaining, as the time spent with the Tanzanian ladies was much cherished than to grim over the failures.

After Dar, my next destinations will be stone town for 1 or 2 nights then Nungwi for 4 nights.

1. Price your going to give of 100,000/= its should be maximum do not pay more than that, but you better start with 50/70 then if service is real good you can give her 100,000/.
2. bad thing about online girls, sometimes what you see is not what you get, so its better you meet them on bar / out of room first.
And when you think what you see is what you expected you can proceed and when its not its better you abandon her with any excuses and better go find other girls.
3. There is no reason to travel with a girl to Znz, the best option is the same girls you meet in badoo you can ask them to arrange for other girls then you can pay her as a tip to find you more girls.

Of course there are also (few) non pros, but minority and the pros there get bitchy about them. Mongering is the obvious main business there, mzungu visitors are usually all male. Q bar is great fun from Thursday through Saturday.
Q bar is the place where there are street WGs around too.
Coco beach is pretty pro too. More local though. WGs will approach you immediately. If you are infront of the buildings, go to the bar to the left side or in the center.
Triniti is more mixed. Pros, non pros, girls being out with friends, couples. Many expats. You ll find what you need, too, but it s not that obvious. Friday / Saturday.
George and dragon is similar to triniti I would say.
High spirit. Nice roof top club, rather upmarket. All sorts of girls, and clearly quite some pro s there.
Slipway in general is a hunting area too. There are pros sometimes hanging out there from late afternoon at the jetty, there is the rather stylish terrace restaurant and bar, where I usually see some beautiful ladies sitting at the bar. I checked paparazzi club there once, but I don't recommend it.
Karambezi bar at sea cliff hotel, cape town fish market in msasani. Same as terrace on slipway.
If you like it really rough and local, go to sinza corner bar / ambiance club. Lots of pros, and you ll be the only mzungu. Be careful there.

Only exceptions are clubs with special permits. This qualifies for High Spirit (was there this weekend till 3 am) and I guess for maisha as well.
Triniti I don't know, but george and dragon, elements, mbalamwezi seem to close at midnight nowadays.
Wonder how q bar will be affected.
Just keep that in mind for your night logistics.

I stayed several times at Q-bar Hotel and I can only say that it's a perfect place for practicing our hobby. When you have a room upstairs you don't have to hang out at the bar all evening, you can just every now & then look out of the window and see what's happening in the bar.
I had several very surprising & fulfilling meetings when I went down at the end of the night with somehow pro's, but not the hard-core ones.
And yes, about everything what they write in the comments is somehow true, The noise of the bar, especially when there is a disco, or when the band is playing. Sometimes the whole building is literally trembling from the bass-tones. But you get used to it and you can just doze a bit on your bed, watch some TV & prepare to go down later.
And yes, it's full of prostitutes and "creepy old white men" , but hey, that's what we are looking for. !
I used to book a single room, you can take anyone for ST to your room in the daytime or in the evening, only when someone stays for the whole night they might ask you for an extra payment, especially if the girl joins you for breakfast.
And of course it was much better when the New Maisha Club was still operating just next door, unfortunately it's no longer there, but CoCo Beach is just a few minutes away . ...

You can walk freely during daytime most areas (the heat may make you not wanting to do so though). Apply a common sense, don't show off your phone / money / camera. In crowds there can be pickpockets.
At night avoid empty places, don't walk coco beach at night. Where there are enough people around you should be safe.
But hey, that applies to almost every bigger town in the world.
Don't make yourself be a prisoner.

Also, I would meet her somewhere before hand to get a feel for what she is like. If you are not comfortable it gives you the opportunity to pull out or go somewhere else. The other option is to go to a cheaper hotel for your fun. This would cost between Tsh30,000 and TSH 70,000 for a reasonable room. Much safer but costs a bit more.

I've been at the Laico Ledger Bahari Beach Hotel for meeting for a few days, unfortunately not staying here. It's a nice spot, beside the sea, with a good pool. So far one cleaner has given me her number (she volunteered it). In the late afternoons a few people come from outside to use the pool, including quite a few young women. Only the expat heavy Msasani area (where this thread in any case mostly is "based") is still somewhat working, although at much lower intensity. For the Kinondoni bar strip I could confirm this myself yesterday; very few girls and a heavy police presence (mostly in civilian clothes).
Those girls that are left in Msasani are few and not that stunning or good at what they do. The same limited set move with the curfew so that they start out in bars like at Coco Beach and Q Bar and after they close they move to bars with extended hours like High Spirit, Elements, Maisha and Wantanshi. The three first on the late list are tricky in the sense that there you have youngsters out for a good time also mingling, so at least I had problems knowing who / how to approach. On the other hand I do think a lot of girls are open for proposals if you do it right (besides my own flirting, others in this thread seem to have had some good experiences of semi-freebies).
Regardless if you go with the declared professionals or the semi-freebies, I would dare to say that service is amateurish. All sorts of people, not many pros. They are there though. At Q Bar the pro business is much more visible, hence the freebies don't like to go there.

Christmas time is almost nowhere on the globe a good season for mongering. Probably Dar is going to be a bit quiet as most of the expats will be gone and some of the girls with their families. Thanks.I tried it last month for a change and also as a different way to get from Dar to Mombasa, staying in Stone Town. There wasn't much on view to be honest. One dodgy looking bar close to 6 degrees south (a decent if slightly pricey restaurant) that was very much a 'locals' place that might well have contained a few willing participants but I didn't fancy putting it to the test. I have returned from Tanzania and wanted to give you a report on what I found.
Dar:
Things did and't really go to plan regarding mongering. I was busier than expected with work which meant I had limited time and the hotel I was staying in was and't girl friendly which limited options. I did go to a couple of bars in the Kawe, but it was mid-week and very quiet there. However, the girls serving in the bars were very friendly and there is potential in future visits to see what they have to offer. MPs are everywhere and so this might be an option for some of you?

Not much appeared to be happening here. I spoke to a tut tut driver who called a woman for a massage, but she was charging $70 to come to my hotel room. I had no idea what she looked like, it seemed too expensive and again the hotel was not girl friendly, so I declined. There might be more options in Moshi, but I only had one night there, so further investigation is needed.
Arusha:
Walking around here is a bit of a hassle, with loads of young guys wanting to show you around, or sell you paintings etc. Interestingly I did and't see any MPs in Arusha, instead there are a number of Spa's offering a range of services including massage. I went to one of the spa's and was quoted TZS 60 k for a massage which I negotiated down to TZS 50 k.
