Is it worth the extra money to stay in the Oyster Bay area over Sinza?

I don't care about a beach just want somewhere that's safe to walk around during the day and has nice women who have attractive faces.

Don't mind paying extra to stay in Oyster Bay if the woman are a lot more attractive for example.

I just by chance went online to see the the seating options and bam! Everything cancelled. How can they cancel flights and not notify the passenger? Anyway after a long time on the phone I got new flights but with terrible connections and arriving a day later than scheduled. If you look on the airlines websites you will see they are only advising that you have the correct medical cover or medical prerequisites and permission to enter before flying. That is why I am going with visa in hand rather than VOA. How can they actually stop you from flying?

But that's not the half of it, TZ is not seen as "doing enough to stop the spread" so although you have the right to go back to your country you might get stuck or have to pay way more.

I First night disaster in Dar.

Landed yesterday. I'll report on my trip separately as there is some need to know stuff for future travellers.

It was my first time in Africa. Spent years mongering in SE Asia and Europe. I rtff and took notes.

Staying a 10 min walk from 5 n. Google maps took me down some very dark alleys that were unwalkable.

Got to 5 n at around 8. 30 full of guys and one girl at the bar with a group of guys.

Was ready to go and an interesting kinda girl walked in but I was literally just in the country and wanted to explore at bit.

Wanted some action and to see some ladies so headed to the famous corner bar. Again full of guys and an extremely boring place to sit alone nursing a beer with one guy on stage trying to dance. This is not what I imagined. As I was finishing my beer a few over weight fuglies started walking around.

Ok I didn't travel half way around the world for this so time to move. I decided to go to concorde Hotel as I read some great reports from that area.

The street where the concorde Hotel is located is very sketchy and not for the faint hearted. There were at least 7 hookers on the street. Did the rounds a few times and spotted a looker, wicked body, my type. Asked if she spoke English and she said no with an immediate bad attitude.

I asked her if she wanted a drink and she said she would drink at my hotel. So I stepped into the meridian bar alone. Not many girls in the there but every now and then some from the street would walk around.

The one I first spoke to came in to me and asked if I wanted short time for 50000, I said too much so she agreed 30,000. I asked where and she said a hotel for 25000. I thought these hookers would easily be able to whisk you off to a cheap short time room.

I asked her to sit down and relax and she asked how much I would give her to relax. My god, from all the reading I got the impression this would be like shooting fish in a barrel but it seems anything but. I thought she would be happy to sit and have a beer with the chance to earn some money. I straight out asked her how much for long time and she said she cannot do sleeping so I said forget it, as I got really bad vibes off her.

A while later she goes past to the toilet gets changed and then sits with a group of guys she seems very familiar with. A few minutes later they all leave together carrying bags. So it seems that's reason she cannot do long time, her pimp / BF was waiting.

Ok at this point I was starting to lose hope so I went to q bar. Nice place with the best looking girls I'd seen tonight, at least 3 to 4 very doable girls.

Sat with 1 girl and her mates and bought a few rounds which I don't normally do but fcuk it, it was my first night. She had an amazing tiny body and decent sized boobs and a cute smile.

She was keen to go back to the room and I thought the night was saved. You just have to read it whether or not to discuss money before, I've had the same situation were the girl said up to me and it worked out and times when I didn't mention money and it went pear shaped, just have to read the girl to see how pro she is, if in doubt confirm, midweek in Q-bar chances are she is quite pro so best to confirm. I hope I will try to answer some questions regarding Dar, from the recent questions. I may have missed some stuff due to my limited time but just ask and I will answer. I will add up stuff I as I remember, also anyone feel free to add up other suggestions.

General info and tips.

- the below recommendations are areas with good security (even though TZ is generally peaceful) , close to one another and cheap to move around from your town centre hotel.

-the current situation is good for mongering because the bars are already running at full capacities. Universities are already open and this is generally a good thing because they are game changers for bar hunting. With university girls in the picture, the pros tend to be polite and even the prices become low. So this means there is vast of fish in the market including the uni girls who are always DTF depending on your game.

-Nowadays in most places you can pay with card swipe so don't worry about carrying too much cash all the time.

- Most of the night places are lit from thursdays but fridays and saturdays are the real deal. On mondays and tuesdays it is mostly until midnight. But some places are good so just ask a local and they will tell you if you really need to go out till late.

Night life & type of girls you will most likely find.

In Dar, there is alot of choices for spending your night and what you would expect to find. Most of the bars or clubs go till morning. In some you are most likely to find tourists, foreign workers, locals (local arabs, local indians, light skin Tanzanians, dark skin Tanzanians).

Review of Different areas + recommendation of current hot places for guaranteed action at night (first mentioned means highly recommended).

- Masaki / OyetserbaY. Highly recommended first place to try when you hit dar, it is famous for tourists. Has every service you want malls, beach, yacht club. At night, uni students, pros and everything can be found there. Has a mix of bargain places though for food and drinks. But overall its expensive especially hotels. (Samaki samaki, Mason (expensive), Havoc, Olive, Elements, buckets, Reggae bar (for marryjane lovers haha), Q bar (pros only though at this place)).

- Mikocheni. Area which is close to masaki and oysterbay with a bit similar services. From malls, food spots and very famous for massages (the happy ending ones). Their places are abit cheaper though. Places to go (Tips, Briques, Tripple 7.

- MBEZI beach. Close to the above areas also. Good services also cheap and you find mostly uni girls, locals sometimes foreigners places to go (Juliana, Busca la vida).

- SINZA. Mostly locals stuff here in terms of food and shopping activities. For girls then this is the pros headquarters, mostly cheap. Has a variety of choices. But mostly pro girls and semi pros. An exception is a new place called boardroom. Uni students like it. Places to go (board room, la chazz, elegance).

- MWENGE. Very close to sinza, this place is only mentioned because of the famous shopping village MLIMANY CITY. Has food joints, shopping malls, kid games etc. There is too much movement of foreigners also. Its very close to university of dar es salaam and ardhi university. So many people go there. Places to go (Samaki samaki (chain of the one in masaki, this one stays till midnight even on weekends), 5 N (Good for pros / semipros with mix of uni students)).

- POSTA. Abit expensive, food, drinks, hotels so as the girls if they are working. Places to go places to go (Rhapsody, High spirit) have not been there for a while now.

- Others. There are other good places with action example Tabata but only ideal if you have a local host / friend to go with, or you are foreigners but in a group of two or more. I say this because you may go there and find people yes and its actually fun but its almost only locals. You will feel awkward to be there alone.

Beaches.

- TIPS kidimbwi (a sister place of the TIPS mikocheni bar) is hot recently for tourists and locals. I even found tourists doing water activities like surfing, bringing dogs to beach etc.

- Yatch club masaki. Never been there but if you want yacht parties with girls, swimming by the beach etc check them out.

- If you want good beach place to stay, Water games, sleep and wake up to I would highly recommend you book kigamboni hotels or go to bagamoyo. There is good a mix of bargain and some expensive. But you will find your peace there.

- for the one asking for massage at beach, it may not be an activity which is common or listed but can be done. At your beach facing room if you want. . also if they can give you the person who does the massage. Some hotels already offer massage so its easier. If not then you have to bring your massage girl / guy there. Can give recommendation separately if needed.

Massage.

-there is everything you need, professional / therapy related with no happy endings to the ones with happy endings.

-most famous place and highly recommended is mikocheni area massage parlours UNIQUE, soft touch, full moon are some of the good ones featuring dark skinned and light skinned locals (caution: very hot girls) . There are even chinease, thai but I have never tried those so won't go deep into.

- Masaki / oysterbay and posta has such parlour too.

- some hotels already have their indoor massages. So check out on your booking but this is not that much ideal because you sometimes lack variety. At the parlour you find almost 10 - 30 girls at your disposal so you choose your taste (ofcoz you already know this).

Casinos.

- even though no one has spoken about this, but I am recommending you all to go into casinos if its your thing. Foreigners and workers of European, Chinese, Indians descents go there a lot. The local girls who serve there are very well selected to meet taste of most foreigners. From experience you just need to talk to them. They are usually down to dates, DTF etc once they come off their working shifts.

At 8:30 pm, we met up to have dinner at rooftop resto Rhapsody just down the street. Wow this place is awesome, great venue to bring date for dinner and drinks. I had a magnificent fillet steak and fries for just $16. I've never had such tender easy to eat steak before in my life.

We then headed to Tips, an outside club with music that's not so loud you can't talk. Johnny O met us there and we had a couple round of beers. It was fairly crowded but still enough space. Good atmosphere. Seemed like all civilians and plenty of decent looking girls in groups, some mixed and some all female. This might have been kinda middle class local I didn't see many girls who really caught my eye. Plenty looked ok but nobody got me excited. Well, it was just 10 pm in the evening.

We then headed to Board Room, an open air local place that was quite crowded but bright enough to see all the girls inside well. Other stuff from last few days.

1. The other day, I got the number for a hot waitress at nearby Samaki Samaki. I've been texting her but she only responds sometimes and she's probably not very interested. But I'll try a bit more.

2. I would love to find a good guide here like I found in Kampala. Someone who could help set-up things up that are challenging for a newbie non-local language speaking mzungu. In Kampala I had a great guy who worked for me. He helped me arrange excellent all-in accommodation, low cost transport around town and up to Entebbe, a hook up with prescriptions and a large quantity of needed meds, chat-ups some civilian girls, and to arrange all the government passes and approvals to enter border province to get into Tanzania. Uganda is a bureaucratic nightmare for all this stuff. I also gave him some work from another expat so he earned a few hundred US $ from all the work in total. A quality guide needs to be educated but also street smart and switched-on, have strong skills with people and negotiations, and completely above board, transparent, and honest with the clients.

3. Tanzania's people on average have significantly lighter skin and better looking faces than counterparts in Uganda; probably due to a a lot of mixing with Arab traders in previous centuries. I haven't seen this issue discussed on the forum before but what it means for me is that a higher percentage of girls are attractive here than in Uganda.

4. I've been swiping Tinder sometimes during downtime. I seem to have a higher match rate than in Uganda. With Uganda, I right swipe 1 out of 10 and of those, only 1 or 2 out of 10 match with me. Here in Tanzania, I right swipe 2-3 out of 10 and of those, at least 2 match with me. Neddy.You are more African in liking to experience very downmarket venues. But my taste is definitely more African than yours as I remember from my trip to the Gambia. I met up with Original Joh the other day, a younger local Tanzanian guy and we went through a bunch of photos plus looked at some of the girls around and about Samaki Samaki. He's definitely on my page when it comes to curves and faces and he acknowledges that my taste is quite in line with the bulk of Tanzanian guys. I think he also gets my preferences for lighter skin tones ala Tanzania, Ethiopia, and especially Morocco.

You are more African in liking to experience very downmarket venues. But my taste is definitely more African than yours as I remember from my trip to the Gambia. - all night is tricky, I once wrote about this. It depends on the time of the night you get her. If you want her all night say from 8 pm the prices tend to be higher average is 50 k+ but if you meet her 3 am morning the pricing can go to 30 k or 20 k, because she's made some from short time.

- the muzungu type of girls do not have a huge market for the locals, the taste for most africans is more on big ass.

NeddyYes I've seen the photos and also the ones you've pointed out to me in The Gambia. Where are the waitresses and middle class students? The girls I've seen are the ones most local African guys generally do not want. They may go with them from time to to time in desperation for a lay. But mzungu is what saves these types of girls.

Real African guys like real African girls. There's an art to curves, long legs, light skin, and big asses with commensurate hips. If they speak with class and carry themselves well all th more. Skinny, dark, short, and often uneducated is easy to find in SE Asia and probably cheaper if you factor all travel and accommodation costs in.

Your hard currency is not enough to attract most of the ones I rate 7-8 or above. It just doesn't work most of the time. Same dynamic plays out if you try to chat-up young girls working in the best malls of Bangkok. They just want you to go away. Your wallet is not enough of a compensating factor for them to want to go out with you. (there is another in city center).

Resort hotel with +90 rooms.

July 2020.There is a fast food joint right next to the road by Terminal 2 you can wait in. My Uber ride in a few weeks ago to Village Supermarket Masaki was 21,000 in spite of traffic. Try to take "good fingerprints" at immigration. Officials there don't care about that but later when getting a sim you'll get read again and those have to match. Even the sim sellers on the streets have fingerprint readers. I wasted 3 hours trying to get one in my name.

If there's no match, you'll need a local (driver, fixer etc) to get a sim for you.

And you really need a local sim, don't depend on WiFis unless you are on very short trip.

Based on my limited travels (this trip to Mada, Kampala, Dar, and Lusaka) it seems the best looking girls on average are in Dar. I think that's due to the significant mixing with Arab traders in past centuries which has lead to lighter skin tones and more interesting facial features. BW Coral Beach is in Masaki, not the BW Peninsula near the Q-Bar.

This is a very nice 4 star seaside resort type hotel. Clean, quiet and well kept.

Bit pricey normally. I got a ocean view suite with balcony for 140 usd, maybe a bit of corona times discount there.

Room very nice, everything works. Also quite nice sea view, you can hear waves crashing in. Only rooms that have decent views are on the upper floors of the Tanganyika wing (suites). Other rooms are cheaper but scattered around or at lower levels.

Breakfast good for local standards, eggs made to order with small buffet (sausages, pancakes etc). They delivered to room also.

Girl friendly. When asked reception said that guest should have ID, but I had 3 lady visitors and was not asked.

Location is not the best, it's on the north end of Msasani peninsula, and there is nothing much around there so you will be taking uber all the time. Uber is cheap and usually arrived within minutes so not a problem but FYI. Havoc is pretty near but you probably won't walk that at night.

Could you explain well?The medium of education in Uganda is English. All Ugandans who have completed basic school are fluent in English and are comfortable to converse in English. In Tanzania, schooling is in Swahili until very recently. Only those who have entered University are comfortable in the use of the English language. This is the reason, in my opinion, why Tanzanian women appear to be reserved when conversing in English. If you were a Swahili speaker you'd find it easier to chat with Tanzanian women.

I doubt though if Tanzania allows you indefinite extensions. My educated guess is after a max. of 6 months you have to get out. But I think its just sufficient to hop over to Kenya and come back in.

Kenya allows an extension once for 3 months. So a total of 6 months. After that you have to leave the EAC area. That means fly out to Ethiopia for example, or you pay an ahem "fee" (200 Euros) to the Immigration officer of your choice. He stamps you in and out and then you're good to go another 6 months.

Uganda an expat told me he was already staying on Visa extensions for 2! Years. After he was told politely to leave to Kenya or TZ and come back.

Rwanda also 3 months plus extension possible at the Immigration in Kigali.

As reported recently, I'm back in Dar. Have already met up with Neddy twice and had 4 dates, all from Tinder.

1. Travel agent: Late 20's, nice lady, kinda ok looking for my taste, has one child, reasonably educated, hooked me up with a future dated COVID-19 negative certificate which I will need for upcoming trip to Cairo. Not really that attracted to her so a nice friend but didn't get intimate.

2. Kenyan girl: Typical mzungu girl, slim with a hardend look and voice, one child, hunts at places like Q Bar. Not nearly as thick and curvy as she looked in photos. Darker skinned, smart, low voice, and I could see through her veneer and pegged her as lower level mzungu direct prostitute within 5 minutes. She was nice but this is not what I want to meet so a disappointment. Had lunch then said goodbye.

By now, I've spent many weeks in Madagascar (Nosy Be, Tamatave, Tana), Uganda (Kampala and Entebbe), Zambia (Lusaka and Nakonde), and Tanzania (Dar, Mbeye, and Bukoba). Most of this time has been in the big cities. Here are some comparative impressions:

Lusaka has the best roads, infrastructure, malls, and life quality. It is very dry most of year and gets fairly cool during their winter months. It seems like around half of residential areas of town are comprised of nice sized houses and estates. People are chill and most speak good English. The Kwatcha is falling pretty rapidly with the current president so its pretty affordable. The bus station is a mess and downtown is a bit crowded and noisy. But areas around Mandahill and East Park Malls are very nice and comfortable though Great E Rd. Has major construction going on. Luendo works very well there and drivers are fine taking you to multiple places and waiting. The bill adds up according to total kilometers travelled. As for women, I was only with one for an extended period and she is educated, speaks well, and is calm with a good temper and fairly easygoing. But these girls spend so much time and attention on their nails and hair. Anyway, the reality for me is that most Zambian girls I saw are really not very attractive. On days out and about, I might see at most 1-3 girls I felt sexually attracted to much. On my girl's bday, I went to a club with her. When I was alone, some girls would try to meet me. But for me, all these girls are really plain janes. I think it's easy enough to meet girls there but only if you have pure mzungu taste will you find many who you find attractive. The bus between Nakonde and Lusaka requires an awful 16-17 hour ride. Only one company is doing it these days and it's really a noisy ghetto experience. The road in the northern part of the country within 4 hours of Nakonde are truly awful and it's just a harrowing experience. In contrast, the minibus between Tana and Tamatave is a wonderful tour through the higlands until you get within 3 hours of Tamatave.

Kampala: Police state, nasty civil servants, immigration, police officers, etc. Customer service here is generally quite good and so is the available food choices. People here seem more sensitive about having photos taken accidentally than in any of the other countries on this trip but in general, photo taking can annoy Africans. However, nobody in Madagascar seemed to mind in the least. Anyway, the Tinder girls I met in Kampala were the most keen on the GFE and longer term relationships. There are more attractive girls here than in Lusaka but not nearly as many as I remember from Nairobi. Bukoba and especially Dar are much better for physical appearance though Mbeya not so much. I think the significant amount of Arab blood mixed in with Tanzaniana really yields a lot of attractive faces and body types which lighter skin tones. Kampala has one or two decent malls (Accacia is the best) but the roads and sidewalks are really awful. I saw more conflict there than any of the other countries visited. As reported before, I had a problem with special forces, street police, and a few civil servants. Also, one of the assistant ladies in my first residence had the gall to want to check my bags when I left. I trashed them so bad on Booking for that that the boss wanted to have a personal chat with me about it and apologized profusely. Once when I was at the mall in a pharmacy, some random dude from the street came in and asked the guy at the counter for some money. Of course he told the guy to get lost LOL. I saw some dude losing his temper trying to get into Acacia because they wanted him to wear a mask and he ended up calling them racists against Ugandans. Pokeris also felt that he got crappy attitudes from people there a lot. Kampala was the cheapest of all the cities I visited and I met some really cool local people that I like. But as a whole, I think Uganda has a lot of people who annoy me and make my blood boil. The bad apples are the least chill of all the Africans I've met on my various trips to different countries although I wasn't in Ethiopia long enough to get a decent read on Addis Abbaba some 10 or more years ago.

Dar es Salaam: People are a bit more flaky and disorganized. Customer service is not so good as Uganda or Zambia. For me, the girls are less transparent and I'm still trying to get a read on how things work here. Unlike Zambia and Uganda, locals I met seem to generally feel positive about their country's future and are happy with current power in place. By far, I see more attractive women here than in Uganda and Zambia. You see lighter skin tones, more distinct faces, and nice pear shapes (wider hips with big thighs combined with narrow shoulders). Also, people here seem more polite, low key, and soft spoken than in Zambia and especially Uganda. In some ways, they remind me a bit of Asians. Many locals will declare to me that Tanzanians are chill and the place is safe and indeed it feels fairly safe here. Snatchings and muggings happen for sure but the vibe seems pretty safe and non-confrontational. I've met a few educated girls and the first warned me that Tanzanians don't know how to say no so sometimes, you find out the hard way. For example, I was double booked for a room here on two occasions even after confirming vacancy on the phone. I think girls here are less accustomed to white guys and of course, many do not speak English so well though many others still do. According to my Austrian Congolese friend, girls here are more challenging than in Uganda and may be on average be more demanding for material rewards, etc. Malls in Tanzania are not as nice and developed as in Zambia but maybe a bit better than in Kampala. As for getting painkillers and special meds, I think it's more challenging here than in Kampala and Lusaka. Tinder works well here but I'm not sure yet what percentage are pure hos and how many are open for longer relationships. Uganda seemed to have a lot who didn't only want hookups. I didn't use Tinder in Lusaka. In Mada, it's going to be useless.

YMMV because I'm the type of white guy who is drawn to what local men, including best qualified local men or visiting monied African expats from Nigeria, maybe be most drawn to. I most prefer the better educated, taller, pear shaped, lighter skinned, and well-spoken women who have no children yet. Trust me, these women are generally not so easy and are aware of their value in the sexual, dating, and even marriage marketplace. Some, especially in Tanzania, maybe shy about going dating a mzungu tourist, especially if he is older. If you are happy with just slim and darker girls, and don't care much about their education or whether or not they have children, then it's going to be easy enough to find one or more girls to go with you any and everyday as per your appetite. That applies to Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. With $100 to spend, I might easily bag 5 mzungu type girls or not even get to first base with some of my favorites such as the hottie I saw today working in one of the phone shops of Mlimani City Mall in Dar. So far, I believe there is a night and day difference between getting the access to more average or regular type of girls here vs. Getting access to what falls in the top 5-10% of urban African male taste. If you go below average, and I think this is mostly where mzungu hunter types live, then you probably can get the pick of the litter for bargain basement prices. But let's see. I need a lot more time to suss things out before I can be very sure of much. And of course, luck always plays a role in the eqution.

Mongers with narrower tastes and especially if said tastes fit what local culture values, you are going to need a lot more patience. Since being in Africa, I've gone weeks at a time with no intimacy. Frankly, I won't take stereotypical mzungu groupie girls even if they were absolutely free. I would much rather spend a bit and get closer to what I really like. I didn't come to Africa for saving money or gettng bargain basement shags and hotel rooms. At least Dar seems to have a lot of attractive girls, much more than Kampala and especially Lusaka. What remains to be seen is how attainable said girls will be for a guy like me if I return here again later this year to stay for a much more extended period and work on picking-up Kiswahili. Good, bad, or otherwise, I'll share my findings here when the time seems right.

When I arrived in Lusaka, around 9 pm at night a couple months or so ago, it was around 12 degrees see. But after we got into September, temps started to rise pretty fast. Overall, Lusaka is on average quite dry but there are a couple rainy months.

Africans don't always get what they would rate highly themselves but yes, they tend towards curves, lighter skin, refined features (mixed) and height is also a bit plus. If you see a sharp local guy or maybe monied Nigerian, chances are he might go for and get what Africans would generally rate as good to great. If you Google the J Cole Work Out video on Vimeo, his lust interest there would be quite appreciated by most African guys I think even though she's not huge.

The Kenyan girl I described was very much a Mzungu girl. I could tell she had been around. She was tall and with a bit of creativity in photo taking, could pass herself as a sort of 'model'. But her voice is deep enough that if she was in Asia, you would think ladyboy. Her mannerisms and convo topics suggest a hardness. Her skin is quite dark and she's just not feminine. But she can probably pull a guy at the club each and every night and for me and many mzungu seem to like her look yet she's fairly hardcore. She told me she had been struggling and hustling since mid-teens so at least she was honest.

Another girl I didn't even mention last post was an African style equivalent of a mzungu ho. Last time I was here, she stood outside Board Room and was asking 100 K. She had carmel colored skin, was tall, long legs and pear shaped, a pretty face, and when I saw her, I was like wow. I was with friends so got her number but I'm not so sure how keen she was to go with a Mzungu like me. On subsequent days and again this trip when I met Neddy first time, I tried to get her to come out to meet me but she just played a game, not motivated. Not only does she not speak English, but her Swahili is full of misspellings and mistakes so it's difficult to use Google Translate. I had to ask other locals to tell me the meaning of her messages. Basically, I think she's used to going with African guys to point where she wouldn't come out just to see me even if I offered a good price. Of course African guys would be thrilled to go with a girl like her but just for shagging.

The really higher status girls are certain ones you might see working in real jobs. As I mentioned, I saw one who would probably rate around 8 (in my book 10's don't exist) in one of the phone shops at the mall. Also, if you go to Grano Coffee in that same mall, I think they tend to hire cute waitresses who look nice in jeans. It's a great view.

Basically, any girl who falls in your lap almost certainly is not high value here. It's really the same about anywhere. In SE Asia, some locals joke that if a local girl can't find a man or get any decent local guy to court her, she should find a western white guy. In Philippines, our dates are know and 'exotics' which to them means lower class, hard looking, and maybe slim, and with a shrmip face. In China, the so called leftover women (approaching 30 and above) are much more likely to open themselves to white westerners though it's still not easy unless they are darker skinned, well past 35, or are single moms, a big stigma in China.

Here in Africa, there really is quite a difference between what white westerners tend to go for vs. What Africans and Arab dudes appreciate. In all cases, its much better to not have kids and education, a good attitude, and being well-spoken are pluses. But the tendency for we white mzungus is to take what comes easy or is available on short notice or at a bargain price and that by nature tends to filter for lower quality.

I also understand that price alone is not a determinant of quality. Just because a girl asks for a lot of money does not mean she's high value or going to give you a good experience. However, if you are the type to be very tight with money at every turn, I do think it will filter out a lot of the better girls unless you have a major compensating factor.

The higher quality girls and girls who are hot by African standards are usually well aware of their status or attractive appeal and can afford to be pickier. They say a guy's age doesn't much matter in much of Africa but some of the girls I've met here at least demand a guy who's presentable. It's not like you can have any girl you want no matter what you look like as long as you pull out enough shillings. Its super easy here as long as you are not that picky and have taste that doesn't overlap with locals too much. Otherwise, it's going to be more challenging. As for me, I'm lazy to put in too much work but I do put in some efforts. I probably get lucky here maybe once ever 1-2 months on average meaning I find someone who rates 6 or more in my book who is keen to go with me and / or seems to like me.

All the adventures of Africa sound fun and yes, I like seeing safaris, beautiful islands, local cultures, passing through the rural areas, etc. But I'm not here to rough it. I want comfort and good quality living with local people, mostly urban and educated, who I can relate to and talk to. I don't' want to hang out with uneducated people in Bush bars or people who don't get me and try to speak sign language. I'm also not here to save money. For in Taiwan, I can live comfortably for US $600 per month because my life is so organized and arranged efficiently there and that includes full medical care. But here in Africa, I expect to spend more like US $2,000 or even 3,000 per month to be sure I'm happy and comfortable. The difference between paying 15,000 shillings to cross town vs. 7,000 if I make effort and negotiate aggressively does not matter much to me and I don't have the energy to negotiate everything. Comfort and time saving are my priorities. I use Uber even though it's not the cheapest and might add money if the traffic is really extreme. One time, I got to Masaaki in 20 minutes from the airport and paid only 12,000. But another time, the ride took over an hour so I offered the driver 25,000 when the fare was supposed to be more like 17,000. When I need to save money and penny pinch, I'll just go back to Taiwan which I can always enter as a permanent resident, even with COVID.

A few more points I forgot to mention in previous report.

1. Neddy told me a lot of Africans are conservative and that seems quite true. PDA does not seem socially appropriate in many cities I've been to around the continent except in clubs and maybe beach party scenes. I also noticed that in all the countries I've been during this trip, smoking seems quite rare and flashy tattoos do not seem common. Maybe sex is not a big deal here but that doesn't mean girls behave like sluts out in public. Many look and behave in a fairly reserved manner. Yes, as you might expect, there are churches of various denomnations all over the place as this is a mixed Christian and Muslim country. The girl I met today for lunch gave me heads up yesterday by telling me that she would need to leave around 4 pm to attend her church.

2. When you don't know the main language, it seems to take longer to figure out how people are and what's going on. To really dive into Tanzania, I think you would need to work on Kiswahili and stay here for a long extended period. For now, my work around for cultural translation is to meet up with old Africa hands like Neddy and also pick the brains of locals who communicate well in English. But you really only scratch the surface that way.

3. Tanzania seems to be an up-and-coming country. Kenya seems to have gone downhill due to it's high profile and the ongoing influx of business and expats. It's become expensive and status of mzungu is a fraction of what it was a decade or several decades before. Neddy explained this to me and I believe it. When a place gets flooded by foreigners, local fatigue sets in. I saw the same dynamic play out in Bangkok and other parts of that country over the last 3 decades. Because Tanzania is technically not an English speaking country, and Dar is not really on the main tourist tracks, there are very few of us here still. As such, many of the people here are not so used to us. That has a good side and a bad side. Kenya will be a lot more point-and-click but Tanzania just may have a lot of undiscovered gem opportunities with the ladies; not sure about that but time will tell. Tanzaia will take more time and patience unless you just prefer to stick to the lowest common denominator mzungu girls. Also, locals here seem a lot more positive about their country and its people than their counterparts in Uganda and Zambia. They claim that its safe here and that people are very friendly. In Uganda and Tanzania, locals will just talk about how corrupt their governments are and how locals are mostly out to take advantage. So Tanzania stands out in a few ways and maybe Neddy is on to something for I think he's not only here due to COVID, I think he also sees something else here.

4. When it comes to how attractive people are, I've learned that a modest amount of mixing with the right ethnicities leads to a huge improvements in attractiveness and increases diversity. For example, go to Hispanola. On the west side, you have Haiti which is full of dark and traditional looking west African ancestors. There are plenty of doable girls there but you rarely see someone who is very sexy or who is a stunner. However, if you take the 8 hour bus from Petionville, Hati to Santo Domingo, DR, you notice soon after crossing the border that people become much better looking. Mulatos come in a lot more shapes and sizes and some are absolutely gorgeous. DR is almost as good as Brazil for finding sex bombs and stunners. The mixing really does help. Similary, on the Tanzanian coast, you can see how much the mixing with Arabs helped for creating so many attractive specimens. Of course it's not as diverse as Brazil. But the modest amount of mixing with Arabs and other non-Bantu groups from centuries past has set Tanzania apart from its neighboring countries.

5. Getting a real feel for Africa takes boots to the ground, lots of reading, maybe some language learning, and years in continent. The longer you spend here, the more you will know how suited or ill-suited you are to any one of the dozens of cities and countries safe enough to travel to at this time.

Down the road or more clubs and if you get a taxi or tuk tuk you can access a good half dozen clubs including those in Sinza. There are several nice restaurants and romantic spots in the area of Village Supermarket to take dates to for warm-ups. Covid seems almost non-existent there. The only place I saw any masks was at the airport.

I'm currently in Mombasa and I have every intention of leaving bc of this curfew. As you guys now it's from 10-4 until the Jan 3. My birthday is on Dec 11 and I'm trying to have the time of my life. Hopefully, I'll be there before Christmas.ChelNam, please tell us what are negative things at the moment in Mombasa that make you want to change to Dar es Salaam? I have local contacts but they only tell me positive things because they want me to travel there to spend money on them.

I went to Unique Massage & Spa yesterday. Full body massage was the most expensive 50k on the list. There were about 10 girls, one of whom was a slim beauty. Of course, I chose her which could be a mistake. She took me to the jacuzzi room and tried to get me to pay 30k more for the jacuzzi room. She then offered a body to body massage for 300k extra. I declined the offer and I didn't bother to start arguing about any other extras. An hour of massage actually takes about half an hour. I was disappointed.

You can get ST from Sinza 20-30k and Oyster Bay you pay little more in my experience. In Sinza Corner bar you find girls in daytime also.

That's great to hear there is an action already. Looks like should be a choice so I can find event some pretty-face-mzungu-style girls for a night And that's the plan for nights. I will check both Sinza and Masaki regularly. But seems there are girls in bars only at evenings / nights.

I have been in Dar for 2 days two years ago but I did not see any parlours, and because of lack of time I only hang around Q-Bar area. Also I couldn't find information's on internet where is the biggest concentration od massage parlours.There are a lot of massage parlors at Mikocheni area and near club Upshout they run 24/7. However, I have not yet found any decent places in them.
