Here some basic info I what to share.

Well my work threw me a surprise and I was send to Dar es Salaam for a job. Normally I only stay somewhere for one night, but I decided to stay an extra night (I work freelance so have this liberty, could have stayed a week but it is high season for work now).
In the plane you get the health declaration form handed to you (on KLM flight) . At check in in Stockholm, where I picked up my work, they insisted I have the form already. I told them listen I transfer in Amsterdam let me arrange it there, they agreed because I am platinum. So some airline check in people might give you a hard time over this form. While you get it on the flight.
An hour before our first stop in Kilimanjaro Airport they announced. It is forbidden to vring plastic bags or any plastic into Tanzania. So many people were ticked of because they couldn't bring their tax free shopping with them in bags and had to carry it in their hands hahahahahahahaha. So beware, they actively checked for plastic bags at Dar airport.
Visa on arrival went smooth. Although they had a computer outage, it was all solved with smiles.
Customs (for my work) was smooth, all smiles, as long as you stay polite (which I always am with officials in every country). A few jokes go a long way. At the airport all ATM's were switched off so I couldn't take out local currency. Luckily I had USD and Euro in abundance on me and the local company I delivered my goods too brought me to the hotel.
Normally I stay one night so am to tired to move out of my hotel because of my hectic flying schedule. I arrived broken at 01:00 am in my hotel, north of Coco Beach (my contractor had booked so no choice). I switched on tinder and withing minutes I had match after match after match. I never was successful on tinder in other countries so this was a huge surprise.
The first match was a girl that looked exactly like the type I would look for and she was only 22. All other matches were not so pretty. So I asked her to come the next day around 1600. Drinking, or doing drugs, and going out late at night, by yourself, only brings out thieves. In the future you might also want to consider getting two phones, and use one as a burner. Take that with you when you go out, and leave your nice phone at home, in a safe place. Take only the amount of cash that you are willing to lose, or spend when you go out, night or day.
I hope you have learned something from this. Lessons are always learnt well when things like this happens to me. Just my 2 cents, and words of wisdom.

What was strange at least before in Tanzania, English language newspapers did not write anything about this kind of robberies. Crime section was missing totally. There was some web page where somebody collected this kind of stories, but I don't remember name of web page.
I have never been robbed in Tanzania. In Kenya, my phone was removed once from my pocket, but I got it back. A few times girls in Kenya have stolen from from my room, each time I have not been sure who it has been, since I have noticed only much later, and there has been so many girls. Money, extra phone.
I consider East African countries and places where I visit generally safe, Mombasa, Dar es Salaam, Kampala (Nairobi. Hmmmmm). In South America it is much more dangerous, there I have been robbed so many times, Brazil and especially Rio of course, Colombia, Argentina.

Moreover, many landlords who advertise 1 room appartements are actually liars: the room is a part of a bigger appartement with 3 or 4 bedrooms and you are part of a shared appartement.
Masaki is a good area. But below 50. -$ a night you won't find anything acceptable for long term. Best is just book a hotel (Peninsula Hotel, just refurbished, 50. - or the NouvelLark, same price), and from there you do your research by seeing the places.
However, in Sinza area, where the discos like Ambiance and Streetwalkers are, there are many simple places for about 20. -night. Best also to find by walking round.
Or stay somewhere at the beach. But then 20 km away from action.
Not sure why but when I search airbnb for 1 week I get many more reasonably priced options, but when I search only monthly stays the same places disappear even though they aren't booked..Last year July Q-Bar was advertising with a monthly rate of 650 $ , now it stands around 1100 euro per month. I'm not sure if I will stay in Q-bar even for free. And half of the girls there can make a problems (I just had one problem in my bed tonight). You need to be really careful hunting there. The plus is that if its already after midnight and you still looking for a girl you are 100% sure there are few pros. And few of them looking nice. (last night was about 10 girls, most of them 6-8 out od 10 which is good standard for Tanzania. I had already 2 really good pick ups there (60 k and 70 k / night) and 2 disasters that finished earlier (they lie about service, promise to stay till dawn, and while sucking you off, you find out she going to leave right after action, here comes problem with money as you never set a price for just one shot. The country's health ministry said the fee for screening will be Tsh40,000 (Ksh. 1,8 the52) for citizens, Tsh60,000 (Ksh. 2,787) for foreigners who are citizens and US $100 (Ksh. 10,778) for visitors.

Tansania opened up already since May 2020 when the president declared that he will not partake in the worldwide plandemic.I can confirm that there is NO Covid. Live is going on perfectly normal. I'm not sure if I will stay in Q-bar even for free. And half of the girls there can make a problems (I just had one problem in my bed tonight). You need to be really careful hunting there. What more do you want them to do?Covid lockdowns are a bad joke and kudos to the late "Bulldozer" for getting Tanzania open. US State dept has red warning flags all over the place: "Do not travel to Tanzania". Bunch of crap.
My first visit here; arrived 4 days ago and can only compare to a few rather successful monger missions to Accra a decade ago under a different moniker.
At Peninsula Hotel near city center and for 75 USD get a king bed with breakfast buffet (very well done with several entree's, fresh fruit and beverages. I eat about 4 plates of food and I'm good for most the day until room service later in the eve with a GF. Someone recently mentioned the hotel has been renovated and the hotel is in good condition and overall an excellent value. Kinda near city center so girls can make it by uber without difficulty.
Also monger friendly staff and I do not get any bad vibes parading several girls daily (4 on Sunday; 2 or 3 the other days). I've been tipping well so that might help attitudes. Going to Sea Cliff tomorrow to spend my last few days with some good views, other than the girls of course. Sea cliff also offers in-house fast and slow testing I'm told for 200 and 170 USD respectively. The guidelines from KLM yesterday state either is acceptable.

Made the move from Peninsula to Sea Cliff yesterday so on site for 1 day, but Sea Cliff is good hotel. It's much pricier than the Peninsula but with superb ocean views (reserve a room with the view for a bit extra money). There are considerably cheaper options on AirBNB for views and further north up the coast for beaches.
Today is a national holiday so the staff made certain their COVID "doctor" came round to collect a specimen yesterday on check-in. The doctor is actually a physician which struck me as laughingly absurd, but then again for fees charged I managed to suppress any sense of comedy. 200 USD and if your home currency is not accepted you pay that in TZS at their exchange rate (any USD older than a year or without newest watermarks are not accepted by anyone in TZS). Somewhat exorbitant rate of 2400 TZS to the USD (2319 current sell rate), so I ended up paying 480 K for the test. She comes to your room to collect the specimen; not to worry, she's homely enough you won't be tempted to do something inappropriate.
Was soon met by another AI recruit, an absolute doll and a total ten on her AI pics but with her sweaty and a bid disheveled a compelling 9. As with any of the other girls approaching this level, I have a difficult time keeping my face out of her crotch. Like many, despite a good shower before hand, she still emitted a mildly objectionable odor so I did not spend much time down there. I read from newspaper of some country, that on Monday Tanzania government announced that they are planning to change policies, covid tests certifigate are going to be needed when arriving to country. People arriving from some countries, quarantine time needed.

I am not a doctor haven't exactly studied this subject about the doses, but this is what I assume. When you have taken two doses of some effective drug, you don't get that severe version of the sickness. So you don't die, you will not get long term or permanent injuries to your lugns or other part of your body, and you don't have to be in sick leave half a year or a year. You may still get mild version of the sickness.
In Seychell, bit part of injections were chinese version, which is only 50 % effective, western injections are more effective. Second injection used in Seychell were western version, Zenith something.
As I said, avoiding to those long term symptoms like permanent damage to your lugns is enough reason to take injection. That happens to some 1. 5 percent of people who get virus, no matter that they are healthy and relative young. Most of the people who get virus don't even notice that they were sick.
I hope that Tanzania / Kenya / Uganda get their injection program working in full speed, but I doubt that they will. People are very superstious in these countries, and they believe all kind of rumours, like this zombie theory that I wrote.
Also in western countries which are not supposed to be superstitious, conspirasy theories are believed, 5 G technogy is spreading virus etc.

Looks like they updated the 3rd May travel announcement got updated the following day (4th) and its only visitors from India that are required to do the 14 day quarantine. All other countries still need to provide a negative covid test 72 hrs before arrival. https://www.moh.go.tz/en/announcements.Came in Sunday (May 9) from IAD by way of Addis Ababa and they were testing 100% of passengers using short test at cost of 58 K TZS or 25 USD. They did not want to see the 72 hour test results; I do not think there has been any official update to the May 4 bulletin, so airlines still requiring the 72 hour test to board the airplane (as of my departure May 8).
I was in business class and the handful of 4-5 of us that went through were all negative; I do not know what exactly was the disposition of those, if any, that tested positive.

Reserving weeks or months out may not give you much of an advantage. You'll have no problems booking as late as the day you check in, if absolutely necessary. So don't rush your reservation; research to your satisfaction geography. Tactically or aesthetically. And comparison with comparable hotels. I do not want to mention this hotel until I am out, but will give a brief review in the next day or two.

Stayed at the Peninsula Hotel again, in Oysterbay area as not too ostentatious, very fair priced and decent central location for accommodating girls commuting in. Paid $76 USD on booking dot com and that included breakfast, below, which does not show a small but fabulous fruit bar typically with pineapple, watermelon, papaya and sometimes mango, as well as fresh guava juice. The spread would easily run me $25 to $30 at my home Denny's or other breakfast nook. Have been at the Sea Cliff and the Golden Tulip and this breakfast is best. Most important meal to me so a big selling point.
Staff very upbeat, willing to please. I strutted in often with different girls and the young female (Indian) hotel manager beaming a smile and asking me how things were. I resisted the temptation to gape at my companion and bark "swell!" I also tipped well.
There were a few things amiss with my room last go but maintenance was dispatched within 30 minutes and all was remedied. The Kilimanjaro, stem to stern. Looking into Stone Town from the bow. I made the mistake of booking online, and having to threaten the travel company before they refunded my money (guys at dockside had no record of my buying tickets). Do yourself a solid and buy the tickets there at the dock. The tussle getting on the boat can be a bit interesting; began to remind me a bit of the walks from the Manila Pacifica et al toward the LA Cafe in Ermita. Not as long and, honestly, not nearly as bad.
Residents pay 25,000 shilling for economy seats and I think I paid $35 USD but cannot recall. Way cheap and the economy seats are plush; we also had a recharge outlet next to ours. I spent nearly an hour exploring the vessel; VIP seating was nearly completely empty so at present, you really do not need to buy in advance. The outdoor seating is hard surface, but it is very nice topside with the breeze and views.
Visited prison island early on for a dry tortoise park and and former prison colony; both boring but for the stepped boat mooring to clamber up to the tour. It had a rail 8-10 feet above sterling blue waters and well worth a few jumps in; gorgeous. Heavily salinated waters, you can do the dead man float all day if you want.
Spinner nymph. Formerly known as halitosis girl. Feeding the tortoises at the north end of the island; this is a trip worth making and I'm sure I will take busty girl up there as well. Nymph is back to the mainland tomorrow at noon and busty will be arriving same time for a few days herself.

By Sandra's account (below, a pro) I give a pittance, though not really. Typically 200,000 shilling for a mid to long term with some of the finer girls getting a bonus of an extra 100 K. I thank you!Dar may be similar to Accra in that there is a modest foreigner, mzungu community and so very attractive savvy girls may understand what westerners are willing to pay; see also comments from others regarding exorbitant financial demands and my discussion with the pro named Sandra below. For these girls 200 euro will be dismissed. I am not privy to more remote areas of Dar / TZ such as ghetto areas or more remote regions, so I am unable to comment but I imagine in those harder to access areas for mzungus, 200 euro should be plenty.
OTOH, for a mzungu like me, staying to the central metro area (s), cultivating a mutually attracted rapport is the best (?only) way to get a girl full time for that amount. I have had several who have not asked for payment at all. If the girls find your photos and / or personality attractive, then you should have no problems getting a girl interested in staying with you. But it will be supply and demand and you may or may not get exactly what you are hoping for. First a simple correction on the ferry transfer: I did it more then 8 times in different weather conditions. I never saw anyone puking around. The ferries of Kilimanjaro are in good technical conditions, on time and under most weather conditions a seat at the open deck is more then pleasant. Only trouble is the boarding and leaving the ferry. One must be fierce fighting against al the touts trying to grab your luggage. In case you not like ferries, then take a flight. Its the same price!
Secondly: if you are an introvert, the cougars will find you at Samaki, Elements, Q Bar or even along the dark lane leading the the UN Headquarters or opposite USAID building at night. Tricking you into a 200. -$ ST is fun for them. If they find one idiot a month they are already break even. And that is the area where guys stay as employees of those unproductive associations.
Thirdly: Dar Es Salaam is a big dirty city. It is not buildt for tourists. You will not find a lane to promenade or a casual outside cafe to enjoy your caffe latte and watching birds. You also won't find a pub for after working hours to enjoy a beer and chat with others. The Expats do have their clubs and big houses where the have their pool parties and barbeques behind gates. You as a tourist are disturbing.
There are a couple of after hour bars, where the said cougars assemble. Starting after 11:00 to hunt. Most of them old professionals full of their own charm and tricks. The bars are not in walking distance to each other. There is no red light district. Some of those discos are by taxi half an hour or more apart. Disregradless where you stay, you need to get used to book Uber or Bolt.

Myself and friends of mine, staying there for some weeks or months--plus some few local guys I know, never pay more than 30 to 50.000 for a short time and as absolute max 100.000 TSH for a night if she is a stunner, fucking 3 holes, slurping you off before and knows how to kachabal. The normal going rate is 50.000 for a night. (20. - and if you dare to venture to Concord Hotel, you will get offers for a 10.000 Shilling blow job at the roadside, not to mention the brothel area in downtown near the hospital region. Good to know or rather bad cause if I go to a big city with traffic and noise I want at least some nice places and cafes to relax. In Nairobi, Addis Kigali and Stonedown I found this. If it is really as you say I better avoid Dar. However according to google there are three Javas.

I sent several emails asking for the refund because they charged twice without my consent, but there is no any response at all.
I have even filed a report in the police station.
I think the scam is they want you to apply online, don't give you anything so you will apply again on arrival and get double prize.
For me it seems they expected triple prize because they charged me twice without my credit card consent.

If you are in Dar Es Salaam and you need HIV quick test:
Go to Shree Hindu Madal Hospital in the center city. Go to 1st floor, and there is a curtain. Behind the curtain are free HIV quick test and condoms.
You can do the test yourself or wait for a nurse to do it for you. Free of charge.
They ask for your name but don't check your ID / passport, so very anonymous.
Congrats, you can now go raw if you trust your partner has not nothing risky for the past 2 months.

I'm enjoying myself so far but the scene is tiny and I'm always fending off the same pros out and about. And finding it not hugely easy to 'cut out' girls I spot around town. I spend 3 weeks in Dar.
My game was tinder and it was incredible.
1. Match.
2. Chat a bit.
3. Invite her to your place for coffee / lunch.
4. Chat her up, order food for delivery and try to close.
More than 50% slept with me on the first date. I never gave a second date to the other ones (why bother? There was a correlation between the social standing of the girl and the chance of scoring on the first date (ie the richer, the less likely).
Money? I was often asked to pay for transport, and only one asked me for money and after I complained she said "only if you want" (I did not see that one again, but hey! She was good in bed).
Some got insulted when I offered to pay for transport.
Some showed up with their own car.
My advice: treat girls nicely, if they mention going home after sex object strongly "why would you do that, stay with me, nakupenda! And go down on them. Local guys don't, and that is what gives the muzungus such a great reputation. Also, if you treat them really nice, the chance she wants to see you again rather than ask for money is really big.
I notice that girl tend to ask for money after they realized I was not going to meet them again.
Side details:
- Total I had 7 girls with sex (most of them many times / days), 6 tinder and 1 real life encounter. 7 out of probably 12 girls I met.
- I got my ass rimmed by 4 of them. How? I do it to them, they are more likely to do it to me. Of course, I think I got crazy lucky. I never asked for it!
- One of them was 22 years old (but behaved like a 15 years old) and touched my chest like I am made of gold. Interesting feeling.
- 3 of them cried when I left.
- All of them spoke good English, or more than good enough to have conversation.
- 2 had a car, 5 were of more modest background.
- 1 of them will be friend for life.

- The most delayed said "I come 3.30 pm" and arrive at 8.30 pm. Actually at 3.30 pm she headed to the saloon to get her hair done.
- None of them said they would come and not come.
I spend 10 days in Zanzibar: there are enough girls not to get bored (mostly tourist from Dar), but the market is shallow. Still it was good fun.
Is there any other place in the world where having fun is that easy and cheap?

At Peninsula Hotel..Last visit to Dar in late July and the Peninsula still very much GF though they have become more rigorous with ID checks (front desk often would require girls to leave an ID card at desk).
Will stay here a few days, taking along a friend met on badoo, and then another friend for second night. Hopefully guest friendly. Will report back. If anyone recommends I stay elsewhere please let me know. Thanks.All the best we are waiting for the report.

This was unexpected. I booked a 90 min massage at totally respectable spa in stone town. Massage was very professional and helped work out my stress. I was wearing the sarong type thing they gave.
