Keep all doors locked.
Have your window just over half down so sweetheart cannot reach in an attempt to open the door or even snatch something of interest. Lock all loose items in the boot prior to the hunt.

Brilliant run through of the do's and don'ts of curb crawling in Lusaka. However, the way that you have outlined the risks involved graphically describe the real dangers involved. My experience has taught me to avoid curb crawling completely. The chances of ending up with a psycho are just too great. At the end of the day, SW here are for the most part, well past their sell by date, and would be hard pressed to get any business in even the dodgiest of night clubs with dim lighting. Thats why they work the streets. And given the options you have at numerous places elsewhere in Lusaka, Alpha Bar (Northmead) , Rhapsodies, Room 101, Times and News Cafe at Arcades and LIV on Kafue Road, why bother with SW?
I fully understands, sometimes, a quickie is all time can permit, but for me, it would be much better to just bide your time, wait for the time, and take the time to make it all that much more worth it. Don't take me wrong. Ain't knocking your post. Am just saying you make a fine case to avoid it completely.

Rite Pub & Grill, on the corner of Mosi-Oa-Tunya & Kapondo Street, is an inside bar with thatched roofs. Girls start trickling in from 9 PM onwards. Inspired by the debacle in Victoria Falls the night before (see Zimbabwe section), I arrived early and enjoyed 8 ZMW Mosi beers.
Even though I was in Livingstone on generally quiet Tuesday & Wednesday nights, the bar attracted a fair crowd. Even if I was the only mzungu in the bar both nights, no girls approached me. As in Zimbabwe, it's up to the guy to invite a girl to join him.
Only Zambian music is played in Rite Pub & Grill. On Tuesday, the music was recorded. Live music was played on Wednesday. Upstairs is a disco called Ayoba Hot Spot, which plays a mix of Western & African music, and doesn't get going on weekdays.
I pulled a girl from Rite Pub & Grill both nights. When they close, the crowd moves on to East Point, the late night party venue in Livingstone. Another option is Club Fairmount at the New Fairmount Hotel, which is definitely open Wednesday to Saturday.

Liquid Alpha Bar is an institution in Lusaka. You enter through a small wooden terrace, which officially serves as the smoking area, though everyone ignores the No Smoking signs inside the bar. As you enter, there are pool tables to your right & the VIP lounge area to your left. Further down, an area with tables & bar stools surrounds the small dance floor. There is no cover charge. Mosi beers cost 10 ZMW.
If you get the munchies, there's a fast food joint right next-door. I actually preferred the equally cheap food available inside Alpha Bar.
There's no shortage of big booty in Alpha Bar, but I had no trouble finding girls to my taste either. If you prefer skinny girls, Lusaka (Alpha Bar) is way better than Harare (Tipperary's).
I partied in Alpha Bar 5 days in a row (Thursday-Monday). The bar obviously got busy over the weekend. Sunday was a quiet night, but I still found a cutie to take home. After banging 4 different chicks in 4 nights, Monday night was a total bust. Oh well.

I have found Lusaka to be a haven of great encounters. The smaller hotels tend to be cheaper but provide somewhat poor service. Here I mean the accommodation establishments that carry the word 'HOTEL' in their names. However, there are a lot of high quality lodges located in good locations close to most places. Not only are these places good in service and price, they even rival the big hotels and they are girl friendly with no hassle at all. You only pay for extra breakfast for your guest. They start as low as $50 and lower in some cases. The rooms would be good, with AC, minibar, Jacuzzi including free WiFi. Like I said, these lodges can rival the big hotels. If you are paying for yourself, search well to find a better lodging place with quality service and at a good price. Unless it is being paid by the company. One lodge I use in the great east road close to many places such as Arcades, I only pay about K400 (about $55 at the current exchange rate). And then I paid K50 (about $6.5) for extra breakfast (Full English Breakfast). But the service is very good and close to the big hotels. I can help but my PM is off. But what I can do is compile a list of the lodges and post here.

Through some Taxi contacts finally managed to locate the place. It's some lodge between South of Kamwala and some third class are. But just a few minutes drive from there is cosmopolitan mall which is really up market. The place is a little intimidating at first glance as you wouldn't know the working girls.
They just seat around and wait for you to make contact with them. The times I have been there mostly found women from Zimbabwe. They range from a low five to a solid ten on a mongers scale. The price will range from 3. 5 USD to 5 USD for a quickie. I have actually ended up hooking up with the manager that run the VIP section. Though it's just some simple Chalet with a 50 inch screen they mostly show football but at times the ladies love watching some Bollywood channel.

Best regards.There is only one really ideal place for what you are looking for. That is Protea Hotel at Arcades. Its a shopping centre with a few decent drinking spots nearby, where hookers of decent quality abound. The hotel will not be in the 20 to 40 Euro mark, probably closer to 150 I would imagine. But am sure you can get info on them online for that. You will have 4 or five spots within safe walking distance. There are more night spots within a 10 km radius, but it is just plain common sense to use transport (taxis) to get to and from in the late hours of the night and / or early hours of the morning. Walking during the day is safe as houses.
For 20 to 40 Euro's there are countless lodges in the 10 km radius of Arcades Shopping Centre that would accommodate you. But here you would need transport to get around, either get a taxi on call (lodge can normally arrange this) or hire a car (though these tend to be quite expensive. Backpackers joints abound in the area, and there is one known for its lively bar. You could get a self contained room for 20 +/ plus have the hookers on site more or less. Google accommodation in "Northmead", "Kalundu", Lusaka and options will pop up. Do the same with backpackers. These are more centrally located. Let me know if you need more information.

There is a place with light up signage saying Asian Massage. Foot massage, body massage, or something like that. I forgot where exactly it is, but it might be near the Avocado Salon / Spa. After a two years absence, I am back in Lusaka, the land of easy and plenty. Get kaza univisa for 50 dollars its valid for zambia and zimbabwe multiply times paid for it with mastercard at airport to get visa took less than few minutes no paper works need to fill it. Buy airtel sim card with 6 Gb data for 100 kwacha. Went outside and ask taxi drivers how much to kabulonga area they told me 350 kwacha I said its to much and offer 200 kwacha I get few refuse but third driver accept to take me. Anyway it was fair price same as local uber (ulendo taxi). I strongly reccomend to use ulendo taxi app (local uber) instead taxis because they rip you off or download ulendo app check price on it and offer same price for taxis most of the times they accept it. Transport is expensive at zambia comapre with east africa even for 6-7 kilomitres ride with local uber is cost 70 kwacha. They don't have any boda bodas here or bajaj, just taxis and mini van (matatus) .
Stayed at airbnb for 20 dollars per night at 1 bedroom apartament 5 minutes away by walk from kabulonga shopping mall and club chez ntemba. Take a bus from lusaka to livingstone for 200 kvacha it takes around 8 hours. Was staying at pumulani lodge for 380 kwacha per night. I highly recommend this place, hotel is nice, good wifi, comfortable bed, hot water, air con, quiet at night and just 200 metres away from new fairmount club (best disco at livingstone).

Club new fairmount- most popular club but was open just on weekends when I was visiting livingstone. Its nice modern place on Friday night was packed, plenty of girls inside but as zambian girls is not good looking so not great choice. Beer price is 20 kwacha water is 10 kwacha.
Limpos. Most popular place which open everyday till 2 am. They have shisha here, many places for sitting and after 10 pm its packed, plenty of girls who is not shy come and talk with you themself. Beer price between 15-20 kwacha.
Club blue ray-local place with sitting places inside and at balcony was open on weekday have some girls inside beer was very cheap if I remember good just 10 kwacha.
Fezbar- cheap beer have some girls but best to go on weekend.
The be hive bar- its was almost empty on weekend beer castle lite price is 20 kwacha, but some girls told me its good place on weekend.

Taxis charge around 20 kwacha at night for 1-2 kilomitres ride. For 11 kilomitres ride to the border I pay 80 kwacha.

Zambia High Commission in Dar never answered phone and no flights were going to Zambia so I asked around about a border crossing in Tunduma. I made a bunch of phone calls and one person who answered office at border gave me a number of his driver friend who offered to get me across for US $300. Travel agencies in Dar warned me about fake stamp scams so I decided to try by myself for starters.
I flew down to Mbeya and spent a nice day and night an a pleasant lodge there. Next day, I took a car down to Tunduma for 90 K Shillings. Similar to the Uganda-Tanzania border office, this is a one-stop shop with exit and entry desks right next to or across from each other. At first, Zambia told me that border is closed except for truckers but I just kept saying I needed to go to see someone. The lady finally directed me to go inside the office to speak with her boss. The office had several people with various issues and the one in charge came around to me from time to time to know my story. The tone was also one of refusal but at the same time, I figured that if I was in there, a way was possible. I asked a favor from the officer and apologized for needing to go at such an inconvenient time. I then told him that I understood they would be going to special trouble for me so I would be willing to offer a special service charge of US $150 in addition to the $50 single entry visa fee.
After 90 more minutes of going back and forth, they finally agreed. I went out to the tend, got my COVID schwab, then used the sticker for that to get my health certificate, got my exit stamp for Tanzania, then finally made my payment (she confirmed that the visa was just $50 and anything else I put on the table was of my own free volition, not her request). The single entry visa is just a stamp which doesn't take much space which is good because my passport is almost full after just 4 years of use.
Crossed over, got my SIM card and some Zambain Kwatcha, secured a bus ticket down to Lusaka for next morning, then spent the night at a hotel down the road. The next morning, I went back to station and got on bus by 4:30 am. Ride was 14 hours and a lot of the roads were terrible. But it was interesting to see how remote and primitive much of rural Zambia is.
The bus station in Lusaka is very dodgy but I finally managed to get my Ulendo driver to right exit of bus station (no way I'm walking out of there in the surrounding dark streets). He took me to Troy Lodge which is brand new and very nice at just $29 for small single rooms and $39 for doubles. It's walking distance to EastPark Mall so location is excellent.
So I've been in Lusaka for a few days and have been hanging out with one girl I know here. Here are my general impressions so far:
- General English level good but not quite as strong as Kampala.
- City has much better roads, infrastructure, malls, and general organization than similar sized Kampala or huge and sprawling Dar es Salaam. The weather is nice and cool and it never rains this time of year. In general, Lusaka does not get much rain for the whole year.
- With the exchange at US$1 = 18 Kwatcha, Lusaka is no longer expensive the way it was a year or two ago when the greenback was a lot weaker here. Some things here seem rather cheap and it's probably comparable to Dar but still pricier than Kampala.
- Even though Pokeris and I have different taste when it comes to individuals, as a whole, we often see cities in a similar light. I agree with him that the girls here are just generally bland and unattractive. After all these days going around the malls and all over town, I've not seen even one girl I consider very attractive. Thus, you probably should give this city a pass if you want to monger or meet the love of your life in spite of it being safer, cleaner, more developed, and more organized than majority of sub-saharan African capitals.
- I wonder if girls in neighboring country capitals (Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, etc.) look significantly better or are all these countries pretty similar when it comes to having a dearth of attractive women?
- In following days, I may try to see a small safari since I'm down here.
- After this, I may return to Dar which seems to have much better looking girls in general. Let's see.

I finally made it back to the continent of Africa after my Ethiopia visit earlier this year.
Qatar Airlines is absolutely the best airlines on earth at this time. Perhaps they could teach stateside carriers a thing or two. It is a nice condo flat in a newer building near the Manda Hill Mall and down the road from the University of Zambia. As soon as I got settled in, I sent a WhatsApp message to a Facebook friend who I was chatting with for almost a year prior to this day. I gave her the location. I did not think she would come by, but she did. She sent me a Whatsapp message that she was outside and she included a picture of the building. NICE!

Two back to back experiences in Lusaka have me thinking that girls there aren't serious.

A lot of Kenyan girls off of Tinder that I've chatted with seem less educated and have pictures in more rundown, slum-like places. In Nairobi, they've typically been fine with 40-60 $ equivalent (6000 KSH min it seems) in discussions.

I got stuck in Uganda in the mid-2020's due to the corona lockdown but planned to eventually travel overland to Zambia passing through Tanzania. I spent some time searching girls in Lusaka during that time and met one I liked so corresponded with her for a couple of months til I finally got down there. When I compared Lusaka with Kampala and Dar es Salaam, it seemed obvious that the profiles in the latter were way below the former two in terms of attractiveness. A lot of Kenyan girls off of Tinder that I've chatted with seem less educated and have pictures in more rundown, slum-like places. In Nairobi, they've typically been fine with 40-60 $ equivalent (6000 KSH min it seems) in discussions.

Lusaka is real quiet because there's no Boda Boda's but this makes transport also difficult. Taxi stands are few. You need to call Yango (local Uber), catch a Matatu (Matatu's are 15 to 20 kwa) or go hitchhiking.
There's not much to do in town but if you're here for girls the service is good. Not everyone might do a BJ but most. Certainly enough girls to sustain you a whole month.
At night I'm hitchhiking cars like I was hailing random boda's by the road in Kampala. Just put your hand up and some car will stop, 15 to 50 kwa will usually get you where you want. Still not cheap. Matatu's stop at 9-10 pm.
Compared to East Africa Zambia sort of feels like Tanzania but the girls are darker. There's more hot women to see in the streets of Lusaka IMHO, maybe because it's more safe. The night life is more or less Friday and Saturday only which makes it difficult to hunt in bars. Cabs start at 50 kwa but usually go up to 5 km for 100 kwa, Yango is half price.

There's no Jiji website like EA so there's no abundance of mushrooming shops in town, very little is for sale compared to Kampala or Nairobi.

You don't need to discuss prices beforehand if you're meeting Tinder freelancers in Lusaka.
You just ask them on Tinder "Do you want to come to visit me in Woodlands (or wherever you staying)"? Some will tell you they'll come if you pay. Then you just discuss the price and transport arrangements. Other girls on Tinder are more polite and they don't want to discuss money before or even during the Tinder dates. That doesn't mean they don't expect money in the morning. I'd say 80% of the girls are there to make some cash regardless of what their profile says. Never pay more that K500 in Lusaka.
If you want to avoid problems try to avoid the most pro-looking ladies on Tinder. With those you are likely to have problems even if you agreed the price beforehand.

After a few weeks on Tinder couldn't get a bite. Decided to use the local "connectors", I got in touch through WhatsApp, conversation was very straightforward which I liked. There seems to be totally opposite opinions about the beauty of the Zambian girls in the Lusaka and Livingston.
Mystery Ocean and El Moreno 92 say Lusaka is awesome with tons of girls who are "EASY On The Eyes".
On the other hand in reports a few pages back, around 2022, at least three contributors say the women are mostly unattractive compared to East Africa and the dudes all left town disappointed and not recommending visiting.
So, I understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I'the like to behold, but don't want to travel 5,000 miles only to find that the women aren't attractive, are overweight, single mothers, etc.

This overall makes hunting quite convenient. Also being close to variety of food options and clubs make life a lot easier.

I've checked google, but get no hits for these places. Said to be in Chawama. I'the be interested in know if they are still open / renamed / closed. Or, if there are similar bordello-type places. The report below, from 2017, implied a good variety of quality girls.
The place quoted is Katete lodge. There is another lodge closeby. Bulawayo lodge. Mostly Zimbabwean chicks or Zambians from villages. I have been there many times. The location is Chawama. Very close to Kuku Market. You go in, choose your girl and jump into the room. Hygiene conditions are bad. But if you need for 20 minutes. You can manage. Never pay more than 50 Kwacha here. Some girls make that in a week.
