I am new here.

My intention is to go at the end of the year to Nosy be.

I read a lot but nobody talk about that island.

Can somebody tell where to stay the best, nice beaches and bars, good places by daylight, in the evening, prices etc.

I like thin between 18 and 25 semi or non prof.

Also the do and don'ts.

I don't like 5 star hotel but more a cosiness place like a lodge, villa or apartments.

I have a lot of expansions at Afrika like Kenya, Tanzania, south Afrika, Gambia, Senegal, marocco, Ethiopia and even Egypt.

But not Madagascar.

It was the best experience 4 me.

I stayed in Antalaha and Sambava.

Antalaha has an innocent laidback attitude and lots of sweet young ladies. Great restaurant options. But I was missing a good bungalow on a sandy beach with no rocks. So I moved to Sambava.

Sambava is busier with more pedestrian movement. But I was lucky because I found my bungalow on a sandy beach and I was instantly in my own paradise no matter the girls. You see for me the bungalow on a sandy beach where I would go swimming DAILY in the morning and bring my plastic chair and sit on the beach watching the water and waves and feeling the breeze just makes my paradise and justified everything!

In fact the Bungalow had a back door facing the beach and I will leave it open while I'm inside my room and I will feel the breeze and it's so amazing and relaxing going to sleep with the natural soundtrack of waves breaking off on the shore 20 meters from my bed and my girl in my arms. That is what I will look for one 100% in my next trip to Madagascar you see once I get that set up where I can be on a clean sandy beach with no rocks! And with clean water where I can go swim deep and dive then I can make anything else happen including bringing girls.

Venues to hunt for girls: EVERYWHERE! But I don't like the clubs and drinking so I avoided those venues.

Beach is the best especially on weekend just don't make it obvious and don't take her right then because she would be with family and friends. Just smile, flirt with your native tongue and collect numbers.

Busy markets but go in early morning when it's busy.

In Sambava you can take a tuktuk or bajjaj from the touristy beach area to downtown where there is a bigger market and shops and more condensed shopping populations they take the buses to a national park. There are PLENTY of girls to hunt. I banged a store keeper from there.

I went on guided hike to Marojejy Nature Reserve park and when I arrived at the office close to the park, the guid put me in a neighbouring village for one night before the hike. I swear it was the most amazing night. The young guy in that office took me to the house and on the way I asked him if he would be interested in showing me this real basic village. Long story short I banged two sweethearts that night with a third who hesitated but came too late knocking on my door while I had the first girl. No electricity it was insanely hot so we put the mattress on the big balcony floor with people walking by on the road just below us. LOL you got to love Madagascar.

One thing I enjoyed pervertedly was watching the women bathe in the river naked and smiling and giggling when they notice me. OMFG!

My trip would've lasted more had it not been for the sudden death of my grandma which forced me to leave Mada.

I would say I enjoyed both towns but since I found the perfect bungalow in Sambava plus my side village unplanned action I would give Sambava the win.

ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE SEND THEM HERE AND NOT TO MY INBOX. PLEASE NO PMs. I prefer everyone learns and sharing with a group is always more productive since it will stimulate a variable and richer conversation. Also I don't ask for girls contacts EVER so I won't give any.

Finally big thanks to TigeDeJade for his help and encouragement on my first trip to Madagascar. He practically help with 90% of the info on Madagascar and I was gladly able to help him with Cuba.

There is precious little on Morondava. As you can see below ME has no use for it and said previously that his 2 girls there were a disaster but he didn't say why. Mind you this is a guy who says there is nothing for mongering in Diego, something that I categorically disagree with. A couple other guys seemed to enjoy it. I am going to make up my own mind in about 6 months.

As for Tulear. Most reports are favourable and I enjoyed it my one time there although it has an air of a one horse town if you know what I mean. Girls are not a problem. I also got my most memorable case of food poisoning there! Worst thing about it (and maybe also the best?) is it is so damn far away.

Now how about a little feedback from yourself. From what I can see your only other post about Mada was to ask about finding drugs. You have just spent 2 months on the Vanilla coast, apparently liked it a lot but say nothing about it. Many people are wondering about the area. Even a paragraph is better than nothing.

Been to Morondava in 2015, and again in December 2016. Had to give it a second chance, but won't be doing so again. Anyone who's been to these scruffy Mada towns ought to have a good idea of what to expect, which is namely: Nothing. And plenty of it. Simply relaxing at the slowest possible pace. Whoever here said 'wandering around like a stray dog had it right. ' OK, but features specific to Mon'dava: hot (very) with power blackouts, dearth of proper restaurants, 1 disco down a dirt road on weekends only and late-starting, a 'reggae-themed' music bar pub (one visit sufficient), tour group stopover for their Baobob alley visit (see them in the reggae pub). But the most prominent feature is that big, beautiful beach: that is being used as a Toilet! Absolutely one of the most disgusting things that can be experienced. Anywhere on the planet. Absolutely revolting. The French expat community — business owners — seem to be overcome by the absolute inertia of the place, and do the absolute minimum in terms of hospitality. Get a room at the Vezo Hotel for the full experience. Anyone in the year 2018 looking for something good in this country, doesn't have to go reinventing the wheel: just look for where the best French villas and settlements were made during colonial times. That's all you need to know (unless you're Chinese).

Thanks Brasil for the detailed report. I think I stayed in the bungalow you described a couple of years ago. It sounds little changed from then. A bit quiet for me. I could handle maybe 2 weeks and then be bored out of my mind no matter how beautiful the setting.

As for Morondava. Yikes. If it is half as bad as Golfinho makes it out to be maybe I should just head straight to Tulear! It's a long way to go for shitty beach, literally.

Do you still have the name of your bungalow?

There's the lone, bug-ridden beachfront bungalows at Orchidea 2. Otherwise, at end of the beach towards the airport, there are places so (let's say) rustic that it's hard to believe a westerner would choose to stay in one of them, unless he's travelled all the way there with the goal of spending as little money as possible.

The bungalow in which I stayed was in SAMBAVA and it was one of ONLY 2 bungalows for a normal hotel operated by a Chinese skinny woman and her sone. She has a cool Greek husband who is a ship captain.

I didn't like the lady much. I prepaid for my stay to get a better rate but I had to cut my arrangement short and she wouldn't give back anything not even 50% and didn't care why I had to leave. She came across as distrusting and frugal. But the bungalow has awesome for me.

For me and unlike you I can spend months there because I love to swim and be in the sea so it won't be boring for me. And that's what I'll look for for my next trip to manda. I noticed there are way more bungalows in morondova!

That is indeed the place I stayed. I was staying in the inside rooms and when they got a large group they booted me into one of the bungalows. I guess our standards are a bit different! I didn't like the poor lighting or the mosquitoes that invaded when sunset came along. I suppose I have become accustomed to creature comforts. As I recall electric went out every day and WIFI sucked. Have to admit the location and scenery on the beach was very nice. I lasted 5 days and flew back to Tana, then next day taxi brousse to Tamatave. It may be a dark dump for some people but at least it is a "real" city (by Mada standards!

I was there not for mongering. But everything (hotels, restaurants.) is 50 pc to 100 pc more expansive than on the big island.

Sainte Marie completely devoted to standard European tourists (of course when you do not know Mada, you may find it cheap according to international standards) .

So, I do not say that it is a bad place, but no interest for our hobby, as girls necessarily in line with general situation.

Inside are nicer and have a / see and balcony but the bungalow has the view day & night! And as for mosquito I got a repellent and asked for and received a working fan to keep the mosquitoes away. Then I discovered that little coilled up scented thing was actually an aromatic insect repellent and as soon as I start using them wow I was happy. They replenish them daily.

The power yes goes out can't recall when exactly but they do have a generator close to the front main gate that's always closed and that generator is switched on a bike that will leave for dinner time so that the kitchen will be lit up.

In which towns are these bungalows you mentioned located? I'the like to include them in my research too.

One thing I forgot to credit the bungalow in which I stayed was total freedom in bringing ladies to my bungalow with zero oversight or ID check!! It was true hedonism. I sit on my chair on the back side facing the beach wait for a lovely Malagasy girl, wave her over and as soon as she's in we do our thing leaving the back door slightly open to get a cool current through to cool us down. And enjoy the beach view while engaging in love making. My good I need to return but I can't stand that Chinese lady!

In which towns are these bungalows you mentioned located?Bungalows without fence perimeter are dangerous especially something like Orchedia Beach II which get robbed frequently. No ID is required in any of Mada towns. {not talking about cities].

Personally I was suffering in SAVA because I was not ready to pay to restaurants such as Orchedia Beach II. And Villa sheriddane restaurant are not operational. Funny the owner told me its operational but the stuff say no. That's because the old man look fucked up and sick. They all died sooner.

As far as my experience Tana and diego has the best food both quantity and quality wise. Other then that you will need to pay triple. Sambava hotels are 100000 to 150000 per night. More likely 150 k. Villa sheriddane is 45 k front room and 40 k back. I wanted refrigerator so much but that's 150 k per night.

The best hotel in Sambava is LE Carrefour. I couldn't last two days in the bug-ridden Orchidea bungalows. The girls that sit outside around it and on the beach in front of Pierre's place looking to snag a customer are the hardest core in town — not what you come to Sambava for, but if you're lazy or less discriminate suppose you'the be set.

price for an ABOVE-average 19 year-old amateur / semi-pro in Tamatave?By 'amateur' you mean like in your mind you feel like you're with someone who's not a hooker, but who's with you because you conquested her? Well, unlike a professional who takes on all comers, an 'amateur' selectively chooses who she wants to take money off of. If you've been finding that amateurs don't want to select you or have anything to do with you, in Mada you'the be in a place where people are very impoverished, and that will increase your chances. Also increasing your chances is offering more money. Sure you can get something for 50-70,000 but if you want best quality girl, and she doesn't see you as 'HotMale', try offering more. There are only so many top girls to go around, and it works the same everywhere in the world: alpha females go to the alpha male. If money is your only alpha quality, use it to your advantage.

My positives. Fabulous weather in the winter. Rarely goes over 30 and almost always a breeze. Decent if not fabulous food. Hotels decent and reasonable price for Mada standards. Almost everything concentrated on Rue Colbert along a 1 K strip or within a couple of blocks. This admittedly is also a negative as it is a relatively small place and as with most cities in Mada is boring during the day.

Girls. Sit anywhere on Rue Colbert from the Grand Hotel down the hill and they are strolling by on a regular basis, especially in the evening. I got a fine little one just walking on the opposite side of the street. I wandered over and in 5 minutes had her number and she was set for the boring afternoon of the next day. Not hard. Then there is the club across from the cheap hotel you stayed at, and Taxi Be just one more block on. I have heard about other clubs and discos but frankly I am not much of a late night guy and find the above mentioned provide plenty for me. If you are looking for new / naive girls that just fell off the back of the taxi brousse you may have to try a little harder, or go to Sambava!

For an "Amateur" 50 k is a lot!

For a hardend pro out of the Glacier in Tana, she may ask for 100.000, but will also budge for 50 k.

In the province 30 K is already a good salary for a night of debauchery.

Don't get misled by the one-week-millionaires.

What's that? This is an impoverished country where people must do whatever they can just to survive. Don't get misled by low-budget guys who patronize ordinary run-of-the-mill (average) girls just trying to survive. There are only so many top quality girls and (like everywhere) they get snapped up.

In the province 30 K is already a good salary for a night of debauchery..Correct.

However in my last visit in SAVA I haven't manage to find ang GF for the night just a few hours of fun. I got two girls both real students. One in Anthalaha she didn't know how much to ask so I gave her 7 K and she came back every day. Sure food and drinks until she couldn't move.

The highlight of my trip was a girl that didn't ask anything and came back next day in a precise time. Met her and her mother at sambava beach. This low cost girl was the most expensive girl I met in Africa. Since I liked her I bought her the best smart phone I found in sambava and install all facebook, whatsapp apps. Her mother didn't allow her to come back so I had to solve this issue and went to their house two hours north of Sambava. Gave the mother full of gifts. Problem solved.

But the real cost of girls need to include both the international + domestic flight cost divided by the number of hours of sex. So let say you get 10 girls and get one hour sex with each, let also assume that they are nearly free. The real cost of each girl is 1500 USD /10 =150 USD per hour. This calculation is not valid if you live in Europe / USA and you need a sex vacation since you need to fly to a certain destination. But if you live in Thailand / Africa THE cost of the flights plays more as you can get fresh girls without the bulk flights overhead.

Considering the adventure nature of mongering the cost became less significant. So 7 K or 30 K or 70 K is very small money as the real cost of Mada girls is Flights!

The Tamatave brothel:Tamatave is a paradise for working girls I was there for two weeks and saw so many girls around Taxi Be up to 5 AM. Bizzare collection all type of girls. You also cut the cost of domestic flights. Best bang for money are Tamatave and Tana but I personally not expert for Pro. I am still not sure if Mada is a good place for me to return as I am getting bored there but still I do enjoy.

Speaking of thailand I lived there now, Bought a brand new 2018 Honda PCX 150 CC install new suspension / michelin tires and travel from one city to another all over the country. Completely eliminating flights. Commercial sex is very expensive comparing to Mada. The discussion about girls price in Mada is a real joke as the price is negligible.

In Tana, a Badoo sexy 22 years old girl No kids charge 100 euro per week non stop sex. Show me No kids girls in thailand charge this for an hour. 100 times more. So the best thing is to look for them in Badoo and make a deal for a week.

I visited Tamatave from 28 December 2017 to 2 January 2018 (5 nights). It's a nice place to hang around for a few days.

So, let me describe my stay there.

Air Austral takes less than two hours from Reunion Island to Tamatave by ATR 42. The Tamatave airport is very small. It took me less than ten minutes to check out of the airport as I just had to get my passport stamped at the counter while other passengers were filling in visa forms.

Once outside, I saw few taxis and just enquired how much it would cost to drop me at Hotel 501. One taxi quoted MGA 20,000. The taxi driver even showed me a chart with prices for different destinations.

As I knew that the hotel was not far from the airport, I just excused myself and told the taxi driver that I needed to change some Euros into MGA.

After enquiry, some people directed me to a restaurant above the departure lounge where one could change money.

At the restaurant, they proposed MGA 3,500 for 1 euro. I changed 50 euros and came out.

Once out, I saw one tuk tuk driver who was called upon by the police as he had entered the airport compound. I saw the tuk tuk driver giving the police some bribe.

I waited for the tuk tuk and asked the driver to drop me at hotel 501. He asked for MGA 5,000. I counter proposed MGA 4,000 and he agreed. I think he would have agreed MGA 3,000 also.

I stayed at Hotel 501 for three nights and paid MGA 76,000 per night.

Hotel 501 is a nice hotel. I was welcomed by Vanessa, the Officer responsible for reservation. I reached the hotel at around noon; however the room was not ready. So, I took lunch at the hotel restaurant.

I got a double room with balcony on the first floor. The room faces the sea. Hotel 501 is not exactly on the beach as there a Boulevard Ratsimilaho in between, though the so called boulevard is nothing but an unpaved road. May be it was paved long back.

The reception is in the restaurant. So, girls can come directly to the room.

Two towels were provided in the bathroom together with toiletries. However, the towels were small. Hot water was also available and a little erratic.

There was a safe in the room but no TV. To watch TV, you must go to the restaurant. The AC in the room was working properly. WiFi was available in the room and was quite fast.

The bed was good and I slept comfortably.

One negative thing is that you can hear noise from the stairs and when guests from other rooms opposite and adjacent were moving in and out of the room. Another negative thing is there was only one power point. So charging mobile phones could be done one by one.

Avenue Ivoloina is some 300 metres from Hotel 501. It is the road which goes to the city. Pandora Night Club is found on this road. You can bring girls from Pandora Night Club to Hotel 501. But at night the unpaved road is really dark. If you want to walk the short distance, you will need to bring a torch. At night, it is not easy to get a tuk tuk.

The remaining two nights, I stayed at LE Veranda Hotel at MGA 101,500 per night. It is found on Rue Lieutenant Berard which perpendicular to Boulevard Joffe.

I got a double room on the first floor. The window opened on the road side. The room was bigger than the one at Hotel 501.

The Hotel is around 300 metres from the beach. L'Affiche restaurant on the corner of Rue Lieutenant Berard and Avenue Joffe is hardly 50 metres away. La Terrasse restaurant on Avenue Joffe was a further 50 metres away.

The hotel is girlfriendly. However, the girl has to leave her ID at the reception.

The A/C was working good and the Wifi also was fast. There was a TV in the room but not much to watch.

Again, the bed was comfortable here.

One negative thing was that they didn't clean the room in the morning. When I asked them, they told that I should have left the key at the reception. Second negative thing is that the towels are very small.

Third negative thing is that the water is not that hot.

The Officers at the reception keep on changing. So, it may that when you go to the room, there is one person and when you come down, there is another.

Hotel 501 restaurant.

Hotel 501 restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It looks very popular as it was almost full both for lunch and dinner. The prices are also reasonable: One whole grilled fish is at MGA 23,000, one pizza at MGA 15,000 whereas one beer is at MGA 5,000. The owner often attends to customers and joins them to converse or for a feedback.

Darafify restaurant.

Darafify restaurant is also a good one. It is a couple of kilometres from Hotel 501 and beside the seaside. It serves good portion sizes of the different dishes on the menu. The prices are also reasonable. One fish plate with vegetables is at MGA 17,000. Only negative point is that they take long to bring the dishes.

Piment Banane.

It is supposed to be a very popular place and recommended by many, a must in Tamatave. However, when I went there for lunch, I was informed that the owner has changed.

LE Bateau Ivre.

I had lunch at LE Bateau Ivre on the eve of the New Year. It is by the seaside near the city centre. It was crowded. The food was good at reasonable price but the service was so so.

L'Affiche.

It is located along Boulevard Joffe, very near to LE Veranda Hotel. It is very popular with locals as well as expats. However, the owner is a little rude the way he addresses customers.

La Terasse Restaurant.

It a very popular restaurant in a central location and as such it is always crowded. The owner is a very nice person, very jovial and always tending his ears to your requests. It is the best restaurant after Hotel 501 restaurant for the food.

After reaching Hotel 501, as the room was not ready, I had lunch at the restaurant. After that I slept at around 1 pm. I woke up at around 4.30 pm.

I wanted to buy a SIM Card, so walked to Ivoloina Avenue to catch a tuk tuk to go Score hypermarket. I paid MGA 1,000.

I enquired with the tuk tuk driver where I can change Euros into MGA. He took me to Librairie Fakra. I changed 1 Euro at MGA 3,660, better than the exchange rate at the airport.

I came back to Score to buy a SIM Card. I was told that they would require my passport for registration. So, I went back to Hotel 501 and came back to Score. Unfortunately, Orange shop had closed. I did some shopping at score and returned to Hotel 501.

I took a stroll along the beach. I met few girls who were smiling. However, my walk didn't last long as it started raining heavily.

I came back to Hotel 501, had dinner and went to bed at 11 pm As I was feeling tired.

I woke up at around 8. 30 am. After breakfast, I walked along Boulevard Ratsimilaho by the sea. After passing by Hotel Miramar, I came to Avenue Ivoloina.

I bought one Orange SIM Card at MGA 1,500 and added credit of MGA 7,500. As the weather was good, though a little hot, I walked up to Hotel de Ville.

While walking along Boulevard Augagneur, I passed by one girl who smiled. I held a brief introduction and we exchanged numbers. Her name is Loiska.

After visiting the Hotel de Ville and the railway Station, exchanged come Euros at Librairie Fakra at the same rate as yesterday.

I caught a tuk tuk to return to Hotel 501. There was one girl in the tuk tuk. She smiled as I was getting in the tuk tuk. Her name is Olivia. I just told her she has a beautiful smile and we started a conversation and exchanged our numbers. I invited her for a beer in the evening. She told me she would let me know.

After reaching the hotel at 2 pm, I phoned Loiska and invited her. She told me she would come in one hour. So, I took a rest.

Loiska came directly to my room at around 3.30 pm. Loiska has a good body but a little chubby. She was game for everything: BBBJ, DATY but no anal. She was a passionate kisser. We did only once as she had to return home by 5 pm I gave her MGA 20,000. She was happy.

After she left, I slept. When I woke up at 7.30, Olivia phoned to ask whether she could come. I agreed.

While I was still taking shower, Olivia knocked at the door. I covered myself with a towel and opened the door.

Olivia came in. She was wearing a red dress. She is petite and slim. I held her in my arms and kissed her. She was a little shy. I undressed her and invited her in the shower.

After taking shower together, we kissed and rolled on the bed. She does not do BJ and wanted to do bareback. She allowed DATY but no anal. We did twice.

As it was raining heavily, I borrowed an umbrella from the hotel and accompanied Olivia till Avenue Ivoloina where she got a tuk tuk. It was already 10 pm. I paid the tuk tuk MGA 5,000 and gave Olivia MGA 30,000.

Pandora Station nightclub was a few metres away but could not see whether there was any girl as it was dark and raining heavily.

I came back to Hotel 501, had dinner and slept.

I woke late in the morning, so didn't have breakfast. I walked up to Darafify restaurant and had lunch.

I, then took a tuk tuk and went to La Veranda Hotel to confirm by room booking for the nest two days.

It was very hot, so sat at the beach near LE Bateau Ivre. As around 4 pm, just walked up to Piment Banane to check the menu and eat something. I was informed that it has changed owner. So, I left.

I was returning to Hotel 501, I saw a massage place, called Exotica Massage, along Boulevard de l'Augagneur. The massage price started from MGA 20,000 for 30 minutes up to MGA 60,000 for 90 minutes. I took a one hour massage at MGA 40,000. It was an erotic massage. The girl, may be 21 years old, rubbed her boobs and asked for MGA 100,000 for FS. I refused.

I returned to Hotel 501 and slept.

In the evening, Olivia came again at around 8 pm and we enjoyed again as the previous night. We again did twice. Olivia was tight and liked to be licked and fucked slowly.

After Olivia left at around 10 pm, I had dinner and slept.

I woke up at around 9 am. I was feeling tired, so didn't go for breakfast. Instead, I packed my luggage as I had to check out.

Hotel 501 had informed that they would close as from 1st up to 9th January 2018 for holidays. So, I had to change hotel.

I caught a tuk tuk and went to LE Veranda Hotel. I checked in and took a short nap.

After I woke up, I walked to LE Bateau Ivre for lunch. I roamed around and met a girl, Sara, who waved at me but could not connect as she was leaving in a pousse pousse.

I returned to LE Veranda Hotel and slept. I woke up at 5 pm. After shower, I walked to La Terrasse for dinner. It was crowded and many people waiting outside. So I walked to the beach.

I had a pizza in a restaurant near LE Bateau Ivre. I met a girl, Nathalie, who agreed for a short time for MGA 20,000 including some massage.

Nathalie was not a looker but a little plump but nice to talk to. She massaged my whole body nicely and did BBBJ. We did only once. It was raining heavily. After she left at around 11 pm, I slept. I didn't watch the fireworks welcoming the New Year.

When I woke up at around 10 am, it was still raining heavily. I managed to go to L'Affiche restaurant for lunch. Although the staff were nice, the owner was not welcoming.

I then walked to La Terasse restaurant to have a beer. I saw the owner meeting each and every customer and wishing them Happy New Year.

I came back to LE Veranda Hotel and slept.

In the evening, I went to La Terasse restaurant again for dinner. I owner recognised me and came to speak.

After dinner, I went for a stroll near the beach when I met Sara again, I took her back to the hotel. Sara is well built and tall but not an ounce of fat. We agreed MGA for short time and 30,000 for overnight if we could do more.

We could do only once as we were both tired. So, she left at around 11 pm and I slept.

The next morning, I checked out of the hotel and left Tamatave.

It was indeed a very nice experience and so easy to hook girls.

Manfield,

Glad to see you enjoyed yourself. It sounds like you didn't need or bother with the clubs / discos which I often find myself but I do have one question that others may find useful. When I was there in October I was told by a girl that Pandora was no longer open. I don't know if you went but can you confirm this? Thanks.

The day when I went to leave Olivia on Ivoloina Boulevard for her to catch a tuk tuk was a Friday. Pandora Station nightclub was a few metres away. However, it was raining heavily and pitch dark on the road. Yet near Pandora Station nightclub I did see a couple to tuk tuk and few guys and girls. I could not make out whether it was open or not. Pandora or any night club was last in my list, so I was not interested to know more about it.

I wanted to explore this prefectoral city, capital city of cloves and pepper.

You reach it after 3 h30 of taxi-brousse by the bad tarred road north of Tamatave (100 km) supposedly retarred by the Chinese about 8 years ago (I believe they tarred more some officials wallets).

Usually travellers pass just the city, on the way to Soeniarina Ivongo to take the boat to Sainte Marie.

As I imagined it is an alternative to Antalaha, easily reached from Tamatave, without to pay expansive airfares to Sambava / Antalaha.

After several days, I have not yet seen a single face of vazaha! However after 5 days I succeeded to see 3 or 4 vazahas faces.

In fact it is a charming garden city, as most houses are shallowed by splendid trees and vegetation.

And as I imagined, it is really at par with Antalaha, but with more vegetation.

A medium sized city on a nice peaceful little bay. With a 500 m beach alley, with its wall to sit, with a 500 m avenue de l'indpendance, leading to it, with tall palm trees as in Tamatave.

No tuk tuk pollution, only cyclo pousses. And on the main road dirty diesel smell of taxi-brousse and motorbikes.

Same ethny of girls (Betsimisaraka) that Antalaha or Tamatave.

Accordingly, they are very opened. Just with exchanges of smiles, you can pick up flowers to follow you at cheapest cost in a world where you are a king. On girls walking alone near the beach, in the market streets. Ratio of OK to give phone number then come to your bed will be 3 on 4 met.

You can walk on the beach, (and maybe swim as it looks a very quiet bay. But as Malagasy usually do not know swimming, nobody is in the sea) but a better place for beach and swim is the area called *LA PISCINE (about 2 km from the center, 1000 AR by pousse) in fact a natural sea area, where the Malagasy, on Sunday or Saturday come to enjoy the water. As most of them do not know swimming, so it is not deep. But if you are a standard swimmer, you swim just beyond or nearby, in a nice scenery of small island in front. And on this beach, which is the local *resort* you have a dozen of gargotes to drink and eat fresh grilled fishes or chicken. And enjoy. With or without your girlie.

Unfortunately, there is no hotel or restaurant in front of the beach as in SAMBAVA. The best accommodation (100 m from the beach) and very close of city center are Hotel DANIAL (with good food) and Hotel LE NOYAU (good Chinese food) . All other premises are too far from action. Room rates 50 000 AR or below (without TV). For backpackers, and no witnesses, Bungalows LE TIPIAH 20 m from the beach at 20 000 AR. For those who already have a beloved regular and want to enjoy luxury, there is, far from the center, but uphill over «*la piscine*» a superb hotel restaurant OASISLODGE with stunning view over the bay, private pool, bungalows with aircond at 150 000 AR (40 E!. Less than any one star European hotel! The place is perfect if you have a motorbike. But consider it secluded if you have no transport.

Personally, I stayed in Hotel Danial. I preferred the room on back side building (with room WiFi as front building) for two reasons: the taxi-brousse station is too close of front building (so noisy early morning) and you have a private passage to join the back building without passing the reception area. Simple premises, but correct for quality / price. Moreover restaurant food is 30% cheaper than in Tamatave.

I wanted to explore this prefectoral city, capital city of cloves and pepper..I was here last year the main problem is that I saw no girls. I stayed in hotel "belle rose" 30 K per night. Hundreds of boats on the beach so its not a swimming beach is a fishing beach. Some girls on the beach below the age but that's the same situation as Anthala. No Adults.

Yes, its a very valid point. But despite higher costs of the flight to Mada, it is in my calculation still the best bang for money...

That's why I live in Pattaya - no long flight and no cost! - Mada- / Uganda-n / Kenyan- / Ruanda- etc. Girls 800-1000 THB ST 1500-2000 LT. - Thai Girls 500-700 THB ST. Food etc. - everything nice and affordible! Big nice Appartement instead of lousy, expensive Hotel!

I went through Fenerive last year on my way to St Marie. I didn't see much but it seemed a bustling little place that would be worth a couple of days as a get away from Tamatave. On the other hand I am not sure it is worth the effort over that horrible road.

Beno69 I am not sure of your post. Are you saying the list of countries in Africa including Mada girls are 800 plus ST and 1500 plus LT? I cannot say for any of the others but I pay 300ST and 500 LT in Mada and some would probably say I am overpaying. Who on earth but a one week millionaire would pay that kind of money in Mada, or am I misunderstanding your post?

And with respect, 500-700 for Thai girls is mainly for guys that live there or don't mind bargaining for half an hour on Beach road. I bet one newbie who has just stepped off the plane in Bangkok hasn't gotten an equivalent price in 20 years! A guy who just stepped off the plane in Tana could find a girl for 300 in 20 minutes.

The rest I will stay in Thailand. The good thing in thailand that I have no commitment for my apartment so I pay monthly and can leave as I want.

In Mombasa my apartment cost 200 USD per month. In Mada I stay in cheap hotels.

Conclusion: I like many things in both Kenya and Mada so I will keep travelling for 3 month per year and the rest I will stay in Thailand. So for me its not Thailandi vs Africa its Thailand plus Africa.

Best time for Mombasa is Dec-Feb and Mada is October-November. Kenya airways one ticket two countries under 1000 USD from BKK.

All comments are interesting, it is from them, each of us get his feeling.

I shall not compare to Kenya, I never went there. I confess to be afraid by what I read on safety in Mombasa, if you are not really acquainted on this country. It seems foreigners are sometimes killed with no reason?? The risk of terrorist attack from former soldiers of Shebab, radical Muslims, now back home south of Mombasa (previously in Somalia) with their weapons is also a risk according to serious reports. I may imagine Kenyan girls very good and hot. In fact I had a relationship with a Kenyan student in her 20's in Europe. And she was clearly very hot in bed. I have the image of an atmosphere of violence in relationships in Kenya, with police etc. Absolutely unknown in Mada: true or wrong?

For Fenerive est, of course, you have to take your time: not consider the beach as Pattaya Beach Road.

It is true that there is a college near the beach and all these girls are not for us.

But when you walk in the city, you find some lyce, a private university, a nurse school. And when you walk around, you find our edible targets. Never hesitate to ask for phone numbers, no hurry, so after collection of half a dozen of phone numbers, you decide for the most attractive, not to jump on the first average girl who will want to reiterate, even if you would like to diversify faster.

It is clear Hotel Belle Rose is too far from the center, accordingly, you are trapped there.

Yes motorbikes can be rented in Tamatave, but if you want luxury of Hotel Oasislodge, come with your GF. If not it is not a good place for mongering up and down the city.

In places like that, there is no difference between ST and LT: you stay with the girl as long as you want, just adjust according to her own schedule (is she a student? Is she going home by night at parents home. When it happens get one for the daytime another for the night?) you will not have to negotiate anything, just give a daily cadeau between the equivalent of 6 to 8 euros. And the girl will be very happy to reiterate next day! We are far from Pattaya ST at 25 Euros or 50 Euros LT, for edible girls! But what is indisputable, it lodging comfort in THL (hotels or apartments) which have no equivalent in Mada.

I am playing with the idea to take my GF from Mada to live with me in Thailand. In Thailand money is not just the only thing in life its actually Everything. With money you can get a Work Permit or retirement visa to a DOG or a Thai driving license to a blind man. Just look how all those visa shops offer you all services as the only requirement is Money. No documents needed.

Living in Mada or even just visiting is some kind of horror but in rural towns you can get girls and marriage proposal that you can't get anywhere on earth. Regardless how much you pay.

Hello,

We are flying 4 weeks from Bangkok via ABBA (4 days) to NOS (3 1-2 weeks).

I living in Pattaya over 30 yrs and experienced in Asia.

My major problem flying to Madagascar, I am a little fastidious, because in Asia infrastructure is top. So I enjoy luxury condos, coffees shops and so on. Some 30 years ago was on islands no having electric or only plants, working 4 HR a day, and without infrastructure, yes nature beautiful but., so always after 4 days have to leave this paradise bcs board of mosquito and no shower and so on.

So we booked ABBA without problem, we booked apartment w 200 qm forus 2 and the joining girls. I think easy task.

But until now I not booked anything in Nossy be and not in Diego.

So my question, any body have a good recontamination. On room best apartment. Big bed quiet, A/C, TV, safe, a little bit good furnishing girls and smoking aloud, and not to far from anything. In Diego and Nossy be.

And another question.

3 1-2 weeks. Is it OK for satisfying only Nosssy be and Diego, or is it getting to board? And f what you recommended. To go where (nightlife, fun and maybe beach and something to see? What's not so difficult from transport.

And I bbbabaaaa, speak Engl, GERM, Spain, ITAL, Thai, little Hollands, little Philippines, little Russia and no French. Except you love me, we go fuck, ad cafe au lait. Ahha nearly nothing. Could enjoy even without French speaking, girls have little English knowledge?

Thank you for helping.

Enjoy to read your replays.

For diesgo and in nossy be. I would be very happy, if somebody can recommand something.

For diesgo and in nossy be. I would be very happy, if somebody can recommand something. You got no infrastructure.

You got no communication Channel.

You got no Bars with mamasan to buy out girls.

There are hotels which may satisfy your standard. But be prépared to pay more then Double as in Asia. And forget to bring your girls in.

You got also a wrong perception in Addis on the girl scene.

Mada is not Thailand. Think twice before you fly. If you not able to leave your comfortzone, you will be disappointed.

A few women in Nosy Be will speak a little Italian but English & German will not help you.

TVs in rooms are not common and would only be showing French or Malagasy channels anyway.

In Diego, Hotel Allamanda is the only option for the 'fastidious'. Great view, pool, good food. Perle de la Baie next door has an apartment (be careful on the stairs!) and you can use the Allamanda pool.

Nosy Be I don't know well, but judging from the rich Italians swarming around I'm sure you can find somewhere comfortable although maybe not in Ambataloaka where the action is.

no French. Except you love me, we go fuck, ad cafe au lait..This covers everything, let be honest here, all man need is a coffee, love and sex.

Don't worry you will have a good trip. Pattaya mongers are like chameleons they can adapt ever ware.

Don't forget to take photos. We are waiting.

For diego and in nossy be. I would be very happy, if somebody can recommand something.Nossy be is more expensive 3 times then Diego for hotels. Girls only in clubs late at night and you will walk in the darkness to clubs. Other then that nothing to do but you can try to pick hotel stuff. If I was rich I would take a boat and go fishing look what they have. This area has crazy marine park. I personally will not come back to Nossy-be as its some kind of tourist trap and not many girls daytime.

Diego is a city not a beach resort as Nossy-be. I would say go just a week to each place no need more. Book domestic flights before you come! Book hotels online.

As usual there is no consensus on what to expect. It is probably somewhere in between. I speak a little French and seem to somehow get by. You probably will to but it may not always be easy or pleasant. Infrastructure is shit. I found TVs in all the hotels I ever stayed at. Finding anything to watch is another matter! Usually nothing on in English except in some of the higher end hotels. You might get a movie channel and CNN. That's it and not likely.

As for Pattaya mongers able to adapt anywhere? Bullshit. Most of them enjoy a standard of living far higher than anything Mada can provide so if you like well organized places and your luxuries Mada is probably not for you. The only place that resembles anything modern is Nosy Be and they don't even have 24/7 electricity.

And don't go throwing Pattaya type money round either. It will only hasten the end of Mada as a destination that Pattaya types usually don't go to.

Hope this message finds you well. I will be in Tana for the third time (first one was in 2007, second in 2013, and now coming soon at 2018) so I would like to see how the Tana's center is? How is Hotel Sakamanga in these days? I have booked both Citizen Guest House and Hotel Maison des Cotonniers as I am always looking for a fresh boutique hotel. Even though I don't speak French, I find empathy and gesturing a couple of my best qualities to make the ladies feel at ease. But, I just would like to be prepared first and see which bars are the hot spots for this summer. (Please spare me from mentioning Glacier as I've visited it a few times). I am hoping to find a lady who's quite intelligent and is all about lust as my stay is going to be so brief.

Afterwards, I'll be off to Maroantsetra to check out the Masalo National Park for its awesome tropical life for a week before jetting back to the civilization!

Any tips from you would be appreciated!

SE.I like to spend money with girls, if there is fun and something back. But same as in Pattaya, not spending the money for bullshit girls, or pussy lick shows, but occasionally, I spend a lot in bar, if there is something " specials" , specials are sure something more, than the most think / or except for me, for a normal" fuck" I don't like spend the money, even not a single dollar, prefer than looking TV or so.

But back to Mada. I really have a little headache, as I think for 4 weeks only Diego-and Nossi be to long.

What you recommand as good comfort place, with girls even not only late at night, some beach and some good accomodation. What seems the best city?

Tamatave? But same there I read a lot of mix BTW good and bad on reports.

My idea was go Kenya Mombasa, due to much higher infrastructure, but I give my friend the choice BTW mada and Kenya, I was before booking already not sure. Mada come to plan, as I get 3 recommendations from friends. But based all on girls and nature.

The girls scene is also a thousand times smaller in Nosy Be than it is in Pattaya.

Actually there are only 2 bars with hookers: LE Taxi bé and next doors LE Billiard.

And during daytime some girls on the beach offering massages with extras.

It was also a shock to me to find out the scene was that small.

Not able to speak French also makes it more complicated as the girls mostly don't speak English.

Go to Mombasa. It fits more your prefernces. English spoken. Abundant of hookers. Yes but:

1. Single shade of girls. Black vs wide gamut of Color girls (Manson Bar Tana, Diego etc).

2. Food will make him run back to Pattaya vs Mada very fine food.

3. Power cut in Mombasa vs stable power in Mada big cities.

4. More chance to get in trouble in Mombasa, stealing, police etc.

You have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to get laid in Diego. Very good variety, from tight teens to horny milfs. Make eye contact and smile. Lots of non-pros looking for fun and some cash -- and "love".

Hard-core pros at Vahinee during the day. Limited selection. But the Rue Colbert stroll starts at dark and the ladies parade between Vahinee and Taxi Be starting around 8 pm. Late night fun at Nouvel Hotel, Boite Noir and the bars in-between.

If you really have no game whatsoever, just make a friend and he or she will pimp for you for a small fee.

I confess that the charm of Madagascar is its non pro scene.

If you are happy with pro, Pattaya or German FKK are perfect or better.

But if you like unexpected innocence, girls suddenly surprised by their own sex addiction to you, without stress or harassment. Mada is a gem. (Of course, if you also agree to leave your zone of comfort, even if personally, I always stay in local upscale hotels with A / C or bungalow of good standard on the beach).

About language, do not be afraid by French knowledge. Best Girls will not speak French more than you: only Malagasy.

So speak in your native language (especially English, to say, with smile and eyes, you are nice. Come with me? All girls in the street will understand).

In the past, I also thought that bars and night club were mandatory to find girls opened to my bed. With wish of little donation at the end (except with pro or assimilated in Tana, I never speak of money. Just give the equivalent of 9 to 12 E. Depending of place and girl level -straight in handbag in the morning. And when they enjoyed. They even do not look at the amount of donation), but I finally discovered that best girls and experiences, were just by hunting girls in the street.

I am especially fond of girls 18-20.

When one of these girls has just lipstick, you may guess she is willing sex. And especially with foreigner if by chance a vazaha is just passing there.

Either the girl is immediately available, or ask her phone number: just say in English phone number? And give page of small notebook (I always carry with me), if you do not understand numbers in French (often the only French fresh girls know!

If you go to bars or night clubs.

Simple rules:

Girls who smoke are all pro.

Girls who drink beer alone or with girlfriends are 80 % pro.

Girls who do not smoke, are not too much makeup, drink juice or coke 80 % non pro or at least semi pro.

But best non pro are to be hunted in the streets of small or coast towns.

Those who consider to go to Mada in coming weeks and months have to look at the political situation, as there will be risks of strikes (Airmad?, airports services.).

I was on east coast in past 6 weeks, now coming back to Europe and followed events on TV and newspapers. As well as from messages of embassy preventing to go around center of Tana where most events occur.

Recent story:

You have to know that presidential election was supposed to take place in November / December 2018.

In line with this prospect, an electoral bill was passed at National Assembly mid-April, of course initiated by the Government and present President: Hery.

Rajaonarimampianina.

It involved a strong denonciation by 73 opponent Deputies, affiliated to parties of former President Ravalomanana, former Head of Transition Rajoelina, and independent.

What they precisely criticized in the bill remains unclear, but they highly denunciated corruption of Deputies with suitcases of banknotes circulating in the Parliament.

Accordingly they initiated what they called «* a report to voters*» in front of Mairie of Tana on 22/23 April. In fact a demonstration to denounce corruption and unfair bill. This demonstration was forbidden by the Government.

Accordingly, what might have been expected happened. The police tried to disperse demonstrators, stones were launched on the police which shooted (1 demonstrator killed - 2 later in hospital- tens of injured). The Government transmitted condolences to families.

Before this demonstration and riots, before week-end, in a typical Malagasy way. The President had left the country on a commercial Air Mauritius flight without notice (for memory, previous President Ravalomanana had been obliged to escape to South Africa after similar riot in 2009 inducing 31 deaths). Finally he came back the next week. As it was a relatively limited risky situation, after condolences and mourning.

From this moment opponents, asked for resignation of the President. And daily demonstration occurred in Tana (with some similar support demonstration against the President, last week- end in main cities).

Now, in Tana, opponents try to push to strike civil servants (including customs.) closing Ministries with lockers!

In the meantime, Constitutional High Court cancelled most of the disputed bill, but the 73 Deputies request President resignation, to sue corrupted pro Government Deputies. All that blocking the supposed smooth process to presidential election planned for year end.

The UN General Secretary, the African Commission. Sent envoys to help to end the crisis.

But with bad souvenir of previous actions of international community, -which induced 4 years of Transition (2009- 2013) and to a certain extent, is responsible of present Presidency (as obvious leaders Ravalomanana and Rajoelina agreed to be replaced in 2013 by supposed supporters (Hery Rajaonarimampianina was supposed to run for Rajoelina. But run for his personal account as soon as elected in a typical Malagasy way) most leaders refuse today intervention of international community.

Madagascar cannot be understood in African standards: after the recent riots, the Minister of Defence and all representatives of the armed force met to declare that al, parties had to sit around a table to solve the situation and prepare elections. (In other African countries, they would have met to denounce the disorder and seize power themselves, to organise elections. At the advantage of a military leader!

More, the police (supposed under the Government order!) after the deaths declared next day, they will no more intervene in any dispersion of demonstrators, but only protect buildings and avoid shops to be stolen.

So is present Madagascar.

But on daily life in the provinces, nothing changes. Girls and 90 % Malagasy are are out of political world. Even if denouncing corruption, asking for elections for all is a strong demand of the society.

Open the wooden shutters. A Standing fan will do for me fine. Funny enough. The old colonials knew how to build. Case in point. Hotel Central in Tulear. High ceilings. 1 st floor. Big shady balconies. Overhanging roofs providing shade.
Fridge ?. Like in the good ol days Tulear still has an ICE factory. Even in Mangily Ice blocks are delivered to you door. So you can enjoy an iced Libertalia before retiring with your chica.
Charge my Smartphone take a good quality foldable solar panel plus a 10.000 mAh Power Pack. I have a Netbook with 10 hrs battery life. At night I take it to a joint with a generator and charge it there while I hv my ice cold THB there. Lights are usually provided by solar charged LED lamps available locally everywhere. Plus I carry my battery powered LED headlamp anywhere I go. To travel in Africa you have to adjust. Africa will not adjust to your needs. My 2 cents. All others stay in Pattaya.

For fast pick-up, Manson is still the only place by night. No more than 50 K please. I went back there recently, it's packed with girls but not all fo them are pretty (or may be it's me). Buffet du Jardin is another interesting pickup place (in front of LE Louvre hotel).

They all speak french even in a remote villages north of Sambava. But their Mothers don't speak.

Love and Romance is a myth its all over but some can act as its real GFE. Most of girls will not act so you will know they look for money. This is the low of physics as all over the world girls prefer local boys at their age group. Also getting poor girls requires time and resources. Not just a week or so.

The internet is full of bulshit regarding romance with poor girls from the philippines, Africa etc. Better to come with no illusions and enjoy. Look at this guy.

Selling the idea of romance but in reality is a monger pretending that age has less significance. So the terms sweet, innocents is a big bulshit as it all come to poverty and lack of choices.

To go to a country for 2 weeks, and find the real love, is like winning in a lottery.

But to be truth, their is love even from pros, but love must growth and can find around the corner.

Guys misunderstand sex and "take factor"- as love. To find a nice one is not possible in a week, it need experience of the country and the girls and minimum a year.

But I had / have relations with 3 top prof. Girls, one 7 year and another 11, both working pro before, I have to tell real relation, but was grown over time from money to love.

I can't say anything negative, not in terms of money not in other things. Brake of relation was not only the fault of the girls, its fault of me too, because I am a big butterfly, and not the perfect.

The actual relation is good too, from the side of the girl, but me after 11 years need some butterfly trips, I make this every year 2 time, but this time first to Africa.

And there will be no difference between Thailand and Asia and there.

In the provinces however most of the girls I could find for the night only did speak Malgache.

I highly recommend to avoid. Next trip in October.Lot of types of Malagasy girls. I met a woman at Johannesburg airport on a flight to Cape Town. The seemingly innocent lady was inquiring about how life is Cape Town. I innocently gave info as I could and shared my phone number if she needs further assistance.

To my surprise after 2 hours while Cape Town, she called in her French which I could not understand and asked me to host with sex on menu. This was a trap I could not accept blindly the proposal.

I blocked the number till later.

Not a trip report of how many I "milely" (that would take too much time to write about by at least 2 a day over the period of 4 weeks) with but more Infos on practicalities:

Visa on Arrival: print out from internet the application form, complete it at home, add a pic on it and the process at arrival is smooth and straightforward. 35 EU for 30 days.

Taxi to town: one time I paid 40.000, another time 50.000.

Hotel in Tana: NewSelect Hotel. Its next door to the Glacier. Location is perfect in downtown. The staircase is under construction and the elevator does not work (3 floors to walk up!) But the rooms for 72.000 with balcony are good, bed firm, shower hot and everything is working fine. ID-card form your copain is strictly required.

Glacier starts at sunset, I. E. 5:30, to get filled up. At 8:00 all the pros are there. You see them later at other bars. The last stop, as from midnight, is the TaxiBe, open till 4:00. Prices they ask are starting from 100 Euro, to go quickly down to 100.000 MGA and most settle between 40. To 60.000.

"Good" dating girls on TongaSoa and on Celebweb. On Badoo you find the pros.

Dinner to enjoy at Les Artistes, just in the lane behind the Glacier. Try the big (assume 1 kg) bbq prawn platter for 35.000: absolutely delicious.

Fianar: going by Bus Cotisse is easy. 35.000. Did stay at the Vannie Hotel for 55.000. Nightlife at "Charlies Bar". Its a dump, filled with pot smoke -- but close to the feeling of Apocalypse Now: shag a Bush-girl behind the fence for 10.000.

Tulear: going from Fianar by taxi brousse Merc Sprinter: buy two seats in the row behind the driver. Its 60.000 and gives you space for the 8 hour ride.

Hotel Serena: nice rooms for 90.000. There are cheaper places but most of then dumps. The Boef for dinner and meeting local expats. Plenty streetwalkers in front. The discos start late. My friend went and was very happy.

Mangily: if you like Sun Sea and Sex, its the place. The new bungalows BellaDonna pieds dans leau are perfect to relax at daytime, with a massage thrown in. Then at night you walk 10 min to the main road: plenty local freelancers eager to share your bed. The morning cadeaux of 20.000 makes them happy.

Eating at "Freddies"- everyone knows. But cheaper and good quality seafood at Daniel's, 100 m up the beach: we had lobster "satt" for 2, costing 50.000.

Flight back to Tana: no problem to book in the Tulear office of AirMad: 630.000 one way -- and you can change date without add on charges. Flight was on time. All good.

Girls asking 100 euros in Mada? I would never think this will happen in my lifetime!

That s shocking!

Must be the consequence of stupid overpaying mongers who spoiled so many destinations and now even Mada.

Visa on Arrival: print out from internet the application form, complete it at home, add a pic on it and the process at arrival is smooth and straightforward. 35 EU for 30 days.

Taxi to town: one time I paid 40.000, another time 50.000.

And what about security in other cities like Fiana or Tulear, Mangily? Night walks are more safe?Mangily is not really a city. Just a few straw huts and beach hotels. No streets, just sandy pathes. No lights. You need a torch to find your way. Without the moon its pitch dark!

Fianar. Nothing to walk. Only 2 or 3 places at night to visit. Taxis are battered old cars but cheap: 1 EU. Trip.

Tulear. Tamatav: both are ok 100 m around the pubs or restaurants. Otherwise plenty Bicycle Push-Push for 2000 MGA. Walking makes no sense.

In general: its not a country with a big bar-nightlife. At 6:00 its pitch dark already and after 8:00 in most parts no one on the road anymore.

Happen for me couple of times at tana police stop the cab and ask to show passport I didint have a passport but 10000 k sort out all problems both times. I know before I should carry passport with me but I am scared to loose it so better just pay small bribes. Someone suggest here before better make a copy of passport and visa and go to police station and ask to put stamp on it so you can carry just copy.

As for the night walk in Tana, wouldn't a 5 minute walk be OK? I guess being with a gal or two would help though. Again, appreciate your informative response!

And here, Neddy, I am interested in knowing how these cadeau can be given to police. My old experience was in Ivory Coast, were I lived some time ago (years 80.), and every time they were arresting us for cadeau, but usually we were discussing and arguing a lot before accepting to give something, sometimes at the end they just said OK go without cadeau, or when we were sure they wanted that we give something. But we didn't start speaking cadeau too fast, they could take that as a trial to corrupt them.

And now in mada, is it the same process. Some dicussion before to be sure they will accept that? Or can we go strait to the cadeau?

Because of a broken bridge between Tamatave and Foulpointe, I had to stop for the inght in Tamatave last Thursday. I am not fond of Tamatave and always had difficulties picking girls, apart from cheap and unfriendly hookers at Queens. I had tried New York. This time I went for a drink at Taxi Be.

Amazing atmosphere. I felt like a 10 yo kid in a toy store. Plenty of stunning beauties, some of them semi-pro, some of them amat, not too pushy.

Thursday night there is a Salegy contest and it's really hot. I short-listed two supersonic aicrafts but couldn't make my choice so I brought both at the hotel.

And spent one of the best nights in my life switching from on to another. One a little bitchy with an athletic body, firm ass and a long curly wig, the other.

One more gentle, a little shy with a super-soft black skin. Both excellent suckers, team-players and not lazy at all, even for early morning extra balls.

Huge damage in the morning as I felt the happiest man on earth.

I therefor strongly recommand Taxi Be in Tamatave. There is another taxi be in Mahajunga and another just opened in Tana that I will have to chek. Much.

Better than Manson and Glacier as you have a real dancing floor, better music and may be half the people here came just to have fun and dance the.

It doesn't feel lile a mere brothel.

Hello everyone.

Has anyone here met or know this fine malagasy girl. I met her on AfroIntroductions. 23 yrs. She says she works in a resort in Nosy Be.

I don't fancy the Nosy be ambient.

She said if I pay for her flight she can come to Antananarivo to stay with me. Obviously a pro or semi at the leat.

But if you experienced her, tell me if she is great performer or dead fish. If she enjoys it or pure mechanical? And what donation I expect to give her for an all day / night?

Thanks and I have decided to go to Toliara and Ifaty. I hope I won't be disappointed.

Very controversial destination. TigeDeJade was running to Tamatave after 5 days there.

I am planing soon but not to the south after Morondava disappointment.Ifaty has changed recently. There is a brand new road west of Ifaty so you can go to Ifaty for 10.000 AR in 20 minutes.

It is no longer a remote place with hotels for foreigners and hookers only. It has transformed into a popular family beach that may be crowded.

During the weekends. There still are a lot of girls thus but more social control.

Toliara still is a city that never sleeps with action on the main road by the sea, several clubs, fancy restaurants and pubs, hot girls and dirty old pirates.

But.

I met her on AfroIntroductions. 23 yrs.Yes, I can see some shift from Badoo to Afro. I had an outstanding girl in Tana from Baddo and now she works in Afro. The best girls are on Cupid not just in Mada but also from the philippines as the reason is simple, they know that guys must afford the 30 USD subscription and they more "serious" then the Mom basement guys.

She was happy with 100 Euro per week. Can't wait to October.

Yes, I can see some shift from Badoo to Afro. On Badoo you find the pros and semi-pros for a fast rendezvous, having an expensive smartphone, 24 hours online.

On Afro the "Serious" girls and long-time players, many with a laptop to log in.

On Tonga-Soa the Bush girls from Sambava and other more remote places. Many of them even don't have phones but use the Cybercafe.

On CelibatairesDuWeb you find a good mix.

And --to comment on the advantage of paid sites: most girls don't have any clue that men have to pay for admission.

And --to comment on the advantage of paid sites: most girls don't have any clue that men have to pay for admission.Trust me on paid sites you will get more replies and you will score way more.

I used to fuck Models from Uganda years ago on Afro, Did some searches recently and I was amazed from the outstanding girls. Same from the Philippines, I was there a month now and all the free sites are waste of time.

My last trip to sambava, tamatave, Tana Tonga Soa has almost no replies and facebook has zero replies from around 100 massages that I had sent. On badoo I got two girls but this apps tunes havely for paid users as it has many restriction and limitation so I got tired.

Next trip on October I will combine Uganda / Rawanda so definitely I will go on Afro. Now, I will ask my girl from Tana why she was shifted from badoo to Afro. Interesting.

I planing do some other modifications to my mongering tools such as more Taxi-be visits and taking the closest hotel near the club. Last trip in Tamatave I wasn't brave to do the trip from Anjara Hotel to Taxi be. One day I took a push push to that area at 6 am and swas some unusual stunners all shape standing on the road next to Taxi B.

I landed in tana with Ethiopian air direct from Addis Ababa. One way cost 8,300 Ethiopian Birr. I recommend to download the Ethiopian airline app and book there and definitely not from office because unlike airmada it's more than double in the office. 4. 5 hrs flight. I recommend Ethiopian Airlines!

Arrived in airport and 1st had to go through health screening as soon as you enter the airport the take your temperature! And then you fill a health survey and hand it to a lady from "sante" I don't recall this in 2016. Then went to next window to buy my visa. Paid in USD and the give you change back.

Everything thing else is the usual chaos of no officials to regulate traffic and the typical wait with immigration which is the last point. After that I picked up my luggage and straight to Telma kiosk for a new SIM card and one month prepaid service. SIM card cost 500 AR and I chose a 50,000 AR 30 days plan of data, minutes and texts.

Hotel driver picked me up in a nice and roomy Hyundai van and within 4 min we arrived.

Since I'm just stopping over I, wisely, decided to book a hotel near the airport. So I booked Oceanis 16 minutes walk from airport. 60,000 AR / night puls 11,000 AR for Airport pickup. Nothing fancy but a small, clean room with a comfortable bed. Clean sheets and towels. Private full bathroom with good water heater (a must now). Staff very accommodating and polite. The hotel is in Ivato area which to my surprise is a very busy area. It reminded me of sambava. But the hotel is quiet and guarded 24 hrs.

I had compiled PLENTY of numbers from AFRO INTRODUCTIONS so I called this petit 20 yrs old and was pleasantly surprised as she looked better in person. Nice body and a big moaner, really knows how to follow instruction. Only issue has zero oral skills.

Walked back to airport and Baugh my airmada one way to toliara for 799,000 AR. Again much cheaper than online!

Tana now is very cold and never was my type of city anyway. I noticed the girls here are more demanding and not as sweet as I've experienced in Sambava and Antalaha. I tried to hunt fresh flowers that never been picked but they seem as though they've been warned about us. LOL the staff of the hotel actually wanted to introduce girls to me but I declined. I was honestly hoping to find reg girls but I failed in IVATO. Everytime I see one I call her she stops then smiles, turn away and giggles from shyness and just walk away. Not sure what the cultural norms here with street pickups of regular girls.

To be Continued. Next Toliara.

What can I say, Toliara gets better everyday, however I really need a nice beach. So it's not for me.

Arrived to a surprisingly clean and seemingly new airport of Toliara. Waited around 15 min to finally get luggage. I was picked up by hotel driver and promptly brought to Amazone hotel.

I had booked one night with Hotel Amazone since the other two highly recommended hotels (Serena and LE Recife) were not available immediately.

Very nice and huge room with large balcony and chairs and tables inside the room and in the balcony. Big shower for two people.

This hotel is located in the focal point of ACTION! You have the Ave de Mer where girls walk by, the "ugly" little beach entrance and the discos on either side of this hotel. Hotel has a small covered pool upstairs but not to my liking. Room with A / see cost 112,000 AR plus 8,000 AR airport pickup.

Next day hotel serena was available so I switched and gladly did take the recommendation of a fellow board member. Room is slightly smaller than Amazone but has nicer more modern look and feel. Also the bathroom is FAAAANTASTIC (rain shower). It's on 2nd floor and no elevator. Cost 95,000 AR per night. There is a cheaper option for 75,000 AR but it has a small "capsul" shower which is small for two people, so I knew for me I will enjoy the bigger and open design shower of more expensive room, and I sure did).

I checked hotel LE Recife and other hotel and you can get a decent room without ac for around 45,000 AR with a fan. I also tried the pool of LE Recife and it was ok. A bit murcy for me but I was desperate to swim. What I need is a damn beach and a bungalow like I had in sambava. But soon I will.

As far as electricity interruptions, yes that does happen to me with Amazone and lost water too. Had to wait for 40 min to restart. With Serena I didn't feel any interruptions at all!

RESTAURANTS are plenty and I went to 3 vazaha restaurants and 2 Malagasy restaurants. I recommend Oasis (next to hotel Serena) and Etoile De Mer (next to hotel Amazone). And as always I enjoy the local cuisine so I recommend Mamoza restaurant which is on the road between Amazon hotel and Serena hotel but much much closer to Amazon hotel. And I also recommend Colombe. Sorry can't tell you how to get there but it's within 10 minutes walk from Serena.

If you are on. A budget then trust me by eating at the above Malagasy restaurants you'll be satisfied quantitatively and qualitatively!

GIRLS are everywhere. I do the same thing, I say Hello, or bonjour, smile and if reciprocated I wave them over and ask for number. I got a beautiful 25 yrs old beauty products seller who works on the road between Serena and Amazone. She came the same night to my room and we had a great time. Nice slim body with big boobs. P and really amazing smile and face.

Girls will give me numbers and I will call them right away so they also have my number. I do this all day that tonight for example I had 5 girls wanted to connect but I was only able to have 3 in total come to my room (staff was kind to replace the towels).

For newbies to Madagascar; it's that simple, they would want to see you the same day! So don't be surprised if you are with a stunnng college girl in your room enjoying each other and you get a text "Hi, I finished school now" from a girl you met in the public market 5 hours ago. Rates are 20,000 AR st and 30,000 AR overnight.

It was fun but I need my bungalow and beach, after all a man can't simply live on sex and food. My paradise is the ocean. The ocean and I are one. Good night and goodbye Toliara.

To be continued.

Next. Ifaty (magnify).

I will arrive in Tana on the 18th of August, for an organized trip of 10 days along the Tsihiribina river up to Morondava. Then starting on 26 August I will travel alone, may be 1 day more in Morondava and after I plan to join TuléAR by ground transport. EIther via Tana again, or if possible via Fiana more directly. Then I plan to stay some days in TuléAR and above toward Ifaty, Mangily. Not sure of where is Mangily, but my understanding is that its located around Ifaty?

And on the 8th of Sep I have a flight to Tana and back to France.

Depending on what I will find I will adapt my stay in Tulear. If I can manage the flight back to Tana.

Anyway I follow your posts with a great attention.

I want to party and not have to deal with the cops on the taxi ride back to the hotel. Can someone confirm the name of the hotel next to Manson? Is it LE Riad, may have changed name to La Medina??

Other hotel within walking distance from Manson (safe for short walk at night)?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.Riad, yes. But if you look for nice appartements, try Harisoa. 200 m to the left once you leave Manson. https://www.harisoa.com/.

Or the Belvedere Hotel, same direction and distance. A bit more upclass then the Riad.

Just be aware: Manson gets buzzing for a few hours only: midnight to 3 am. There are other places to fill the void. But then you need a cab.

I'm considering a first trip to Madagascar.

I need to go somewhere where I can post on Facebook lots of pictures of me diving or on the beach to give a plausible reason why I am there. Nose Be seems like the best place for me to go.

My only concern is that it seems to be dominated by French and Italian speaking tourists. As I am an English only speaker will I be able to communicate my requirements and prices with the girls online and in the clubs / beaches?

Many girls on AfricaIntroductions list some English but they are all at the larger cities, not the beachside towns.

Are there any other areas that have diving and girls readily available?

Many thanks.

English is not my mother tongue. But I did learn it. So I did French. So I did BahasaIndonesia. Why you english-focused guys can't learn another language? At least make an effort by learning say some 100 words and simple sentences. Otherwise go there as guided group tourist only but forget about our hobby then.

I gave up becasue of that reason on mongering in Brazil or even in Ukraine. Only hardened Pro's will speak some english. But not the sweet country girls. That refers to Mada also.

Not many girls speaking english at madagascar, but it wasnt problem for me to negotiate the prices with them before and make some chat.I speakFfrench at a basic level but I can run a conversation well. I never negotiate price in Mada and let me give few examples of my last trip 6 month ago. Anthalaha girl her French was at basic level as I can speak way better. Took her to a photo shoot on the beach then eating some crap soup as this is what I found. Then 2 hour sex and another photo session in room. When she go she ask some money and gave her 7 K then she was asking 10 K. Anyway she came every day.

Sambava girl, actually from a village 2 hours north of Sambava. Met her and her mother on weekend at the Sambava beach. She speak nice French and look city girl never asked nothing but cost me the most as I felt serious about her and already saw the entire family few times. No negotiation, she dream to get married with Vhazza.

Tana-one girl from Badoo they are semi pro but when you look deep into it there is an option for seriousness with SOME. Not all. One girl asked me next day 40 K after full day and night. Why to negotiate on such a ridiculous amount of money. 40 K is a joke.

Tana hotel stuff- after one day she ask to give something without mentioning the amount. Gave her 30 K. Was happy. The reason why I like Tana is that some girls are white as this hotel stuff.

I was negotiating the price just with pros at glacier, mansoon at antananarivo and at quenns and la terrasse at tamatave. If I find girls at dating sites or at street I just give them 20000-30000 ariary for short time or 40000-50000 ariary for all night and they was happy and no complain.

If you don't mind can you tell me what country you applied for your e visa from? I am currently in Canada and for some reason nothing on the home page is active. Clicking on Apply or register does nothing. Or am I missing something obvious? This could potentially save me an hour in the immigration line. Thanks for any feedback.

Many thanks.Try Diego Suarez in the north. Also called Antsiranana. Has Ramena Beach nearby, and you can take a boat trip for the day to the Emerald sea. Decent selection of girls in that town too.

I found that some of the girls in Madagascar had pretty poor French (and no English). I suppose if you learn all the numbers and how to say "how much" in French then that is all you need.

I will arrive in Tana on the 18th of August, for an organized trip of 10 days along the Tsihiribina river up to Morondava. Then starting on 26 August I will travel alone, may be 1 day more in Morondava and after I plan to join TulAR by ground transport. EIther via Tana again, or if possible via Fiana more directly. Then I plan to stay some days in TulAR and above toward Ifaty, Mangily. Not sure of where is Mangily, but my understanding is that its located around Ifaty?
And on the 8th of Sep I have a flight to Tana and back to France.Hi all,

My travel is coming now quite close, I read these posts about Mada since long time, so I already have got many advice about locations, prices, etc. From many of you, Thanks also to Brasil for taxi guy coordinates, if you have some last advises for Morondava hotels, I noticed "chez Maggie", and also Tulear or Mangily / Ifaty, I will take them with great pleasure.

If I can meet some of you there, that would be great too, may be a french speaking guy can help. Or at least pay a beer.

See you.

Opinions on girls, cost, best place to visit are highly subjective. For example one will say that Manson is a paradise for girls or this city has nothing to do while others will strongly disagree. Some important Tips was giving by the member but you need to read between the lines to recognise their importance.

1. Plan for wheather-Cold, Rain etc. I use wikipedia Temp / Rain chart. Also use real time apps as the whether statistics are no longer that accurate.

2. When taking taxi sit on the back, lock the doors and close all windows. Especially from the airport or to "cotisse transport" .

3. Be careful from pickpocket especially Tana Downtown, cotisse etc.

4. I would strongly suggest to combine online dating with Traditional type of mongering. Such as Afro, Badoo etc.

5. In the south specifically Morondava or Mahajunga (North West) be careful where you eat.

6. Take your time-sometimes you see no girls but there are there they will appear randomly and unexpectedly so react fast and hit hard. If you have time go to hotels ask for.

Rooms and see the girls and stuff of the hotel. Go to restaurants, shops etc. (be careful with Markets of big cities.) . Hang around supermarkets such as Score or Shoprite.

As many girls inside Tana supermarkets.

7. Use you mobile camera with GPS Tagging.

8. Research hotels, clubs, restaurants etc using google Maps and Google reviews.

9. Bring some nice gifts such as sexy cloths as the non-pro will love them.

10. Time is everything in Mada, more time in Mada will translate into more girls as the nature of Mada Nonpro is rand occurrence. So plan your holiday length accordingly.

11. Girls in Mada are addicted to selfies and mobile phone, selfi poles photos etc. If you bring android phone you will get any girl for longer time particularly around sambava Anthalaha.

Its a dirty area, but not unsafe at daytime. Walk around and you will find that all the cafee's and restos have girls waiting there for a ST between 5000 to 10.000 before passengers take the long bus trip. Rooms in the back.

I've screwed girls in the shacks at the chicken farm in Sihanoukville, the infamous Tuol Kork of the late 90's, by the railroad in Dai Lanh and truck stop shacks in northern Vietnam (bamboo mat on a concrete floor), but that area (I've been through a few times on Cotisse) just looks so unappealing that I have never thought to try it, and probably never will!

As for the OP's question that started this, try La Terrasse. There are almost always a couple of freelancers hanging about. On the other hand I don't know if any of the nearby hotels offer short time rooms. You may end up paying twice as much for the room as the girl!

Arrived a few days ago to IVATO and requested 3 month visa. Surprise. New regulations for certain countries. My country now allowed for only one month visa at airport and latter can be extended.

OK went out for a Taxi. Surprise price is 40 k to 50 k now. But I am MadaExpert I supposed to know everything so I walk 100 m further out of the gate to look for unofficial taxi. Find one driver without a car. Told him I have 35 k. He said ok. Where is your care dude I asked. Its hidden I am not allowed to work here wait one minute. OK.

Day after, I am here for 3 month with 30 days visa OK took a Taxi to "ministère de l'intérieur" visa section to find out that my horror movie was just began. To keep the story short I had to bring so many documents that you need to be fluent in french to make it. For example latter from the bank in Tana, Hotel registration documents (not just receipt), 3 form to fill, 4 photos, writing a document in french explaining why you need to extend the visa, very high level of french required, copies of passport, visa ivato and that's only the beginning. Non of this documents are in English. I was there 5 times seriously. This is new for 2018 for certain countries. Each Taxi is 8 k one way. You need a lawyer skills to get that visa extension and its possible only in Tana. Not Diego and not Tamatave.

Whether August supposed to be cold. Surprise warm and nice. Sun all day.

Girls. One girl came she is a singer doing video music clip 170 cm tall and sexy. Lets see what next as still need to call to all those Afro dating girls. Planing more week in Tana and then to Diego or Anthalaha or where I want. No limitations.

Think I'm safe?I think you should be prepared to pay small money (like a 20 euro note or so) to one (or more) of the helper guys who are always there offering to put your passport first in line to get the visa. If you are a cheapskate or just a super moral guy, well too bad. You just have to ask yourself how bad you want to be in Madagascar for the next three months. A dollar or two a day cover charge is really small money when it comes down to it.

Golfinho,

I don't normally like these "expediters" as I don't like to encourage the behaviour. However, I would definitely use one if I knew there was going to be an issue and they can make it go away. The main problem is I don't know if it is necessary and worse, if these jokers can do anything about it. For all I know I could pay a guy 20 Euro to jump the queue and still find myself going through the same shit as NME (who still hasn't said which country he is from. Maybe they have had some sort of dustup with the Malagasy Government?

Steve: thanks. I have seen that (although unfortunately for a visa inside Canada, not arrival) and as I posted earlier info from the Canadian Govt also saying nothing about curtailing VOA to 30 days or less. I land in under a week so I guess I will see first hand. I'll let you guys know.

Is that fare being expected to be much cheaper if I wait till my arrival and book at the local office at Tana or at the airport? But what about expected availability as of then within my planned 3-week stay? This is quite a dilemma. What are your experiences as to those two options? Thanks a lot for any relevant info.

So let me help as I am on the ground. Diego Sambava Tana is 340 USD with Air Mada Office. My route is Cottiss to Majunga. Majunga Ambanja Diego by road as there is no flights. Then he two flights to sambava and back to Tana. Flight availability is season and holiday depanded.

Majunga non stop sex. Huge city development. But more on this next time.

For using expeditors, I became a believer when I wanted to get visa to take a Malagasy girl on safari and subsequently to Thailand. In both instances, at the Consulates in Tana, the application was impossible for an applicant that had no job, funds, address, work experience (well, other than) or education history. Nothing to fill in the blanks. But, one of her friends knew someone who knew someone (a Malagasy) who worked in the South African Consulate. Sceptical (and curious) I handed over his fee and a couple days' later, voila, passport returned with visa. Repeated process for Thailand. She never had to appear at the Consulates or anything. Ever since, I never allowed myself to get stuck in a line in this country.

Yes good destinations. From your previous reports I see that you are asking about Sambava / Antalaha since 2016.

Yes, No ONE asked why the fuck I did not bribe the police at Ivato to get 3 month visa. Why I went out to start this nightmare instead finish it on the airport with a fee. Thanks a lot for your helpful suggestion, NME! I may consider it. However, I just hate these long rides in a cotisse minivan. How many hours is Majunga-Diego by Cotisse? And by daytime, or at night? I particularly disliked my night rides with Cotisse Tana-Tamatave. Also, even though my primary (and indeed long standing) interest is in visiting Sambava / Antalaha, I am committed to visit Tamatave on the way as well, which complicates my dilemma. So I still hold out for enlightenment on my first two questions regarding comparative fares vs availability of flights for short term booking on Tana-Sambava-Tamatave-Tana.

I am contemplating a 3-week stay. My primary interest is going to Sambava / Antalaha. I explored a flight itinerary Tana-Sambava-Tamatave-Tana. Would cost me 666 with AirMadagascar!! Is that fare being expected to be much cheaper if I wait till my arrival and book at the local office at Tana or at the airport? But what about expected availability as of then within my planned 3-week stay? This is quite a dilemma. What are your experiences as to those two options? Thanks a lot for any relevant info. For me it's the same dilemma. No experiences but I'll book at the local office, that should be cheaper and there should be more flights available then online. I hope that's true. Another advice is use a local SIM card, air Madagascar will send sms when cancel a flight. When I'm wrong let me know.

Doc16: short answer is buying flights in Mada is usually about 20% cheaper. You must decide I you are willing too miss available flights by not booking beforehand. There are not Ambanja-Diego Cotisse minivans.

NME: you never indicated that there WAS a possibility to bribe someone at Ivato to make your problem go away. All you said was "certain countries" are no longer eligible and you were now dealing with a mess. We aren't mind readers. You still haven't said what country yours is, and whether the new list of countries is long or short.

You need to take regular taxi-brousse and have to change bus at least once.

Ticket prices bought in the local AirMad office are about 10 to 20% cheaper then the internet-prices in $. And if a seat is not available in eco class, simply opt for business class. Its only a meagre price difference.

Tamatave-Tana I would not take a flight. This is the most easy Cotisse route.

That's already closer to Diego.

Strangely this flight can't be found on the website of Air Mad.

Don't forget to check for your flight a few days ahead.

Air Mad tends to change the hours of their flights without notice.

I almost missed my flight MJN-TNR because Air Mad moved up the departure time by 6 hours.

Planning to be back in Mada after 10 years RTFF for new info, except for criminality on the rise it seem that Mada has not much changed. My question is just wondering how bad or how safe it would be going to Tulear by taxi brousse I am thinking of taking the cotise bus to Antsirabe was there once just love the Merina would spend a night or two then a taxi brousse or cotisse if available to Fianarantsoa then not more than a night in that boring city and take a taxi brousse early in morning to be there before darkness in Tulear.

Anybody can give me a advice on this, thanks (drink will be on me in Tulear for any good advice) plan to be there in November.

I stumbled upon the Madagascar section on this Forum and read reports going back up to an year. From what I could make out, one could basically smile / wave to a girl one sees on the street, and more likely than not within a few minutes get her number. With no more game than "You look pretty" kind of words. Then this girl, who may not speak English, will be at your room pretty soon for about $10/ night. Some questions:

1) Is my understanding of the situation correct?

2) If so, is it because mada girls want to be with white men? Or will this work with Black / Asian / any foreigner?

3) Will this modus operandi work with an older guy? I'm talking late 60's.

4) Can I survive in mada without any French at all?

Is there anything obvious that I'm missing here?

Thanks.

Some questions: Is my understanding of the situation correct. If so, is it because mada girls want to be with... Will this modus operandi workSome answers: the situation is there is desperate poverty in this country. People must do what they can to survive is the reason they would want to be with you.

The equation is: They are poor; You have money.

So I am in morondava, hôtel morondava Beach, 80 m after chez Maggie. Was the choice of my travel agency, cheap, 70000 AR night, bungalows with fan, air cond for 20000 AR more. I checked chez Maggie but cost is from 120000 up to 188000 and lot of people there. So I stay here not so bad, hot water not easy to get but it's OK. Nice terrasse, paillote, close to the beach, with restaurant.

Where things are more difficult is to find girls. I am not experienced as many of you.

I tried a salon de massage close to hôtel, only one there, nice massage girl 23 yo, 1 HR for 25000, surely tourist price, but she agree to come to hotel tonight for 40000. Seams overpriced based on all rtff I did here.

I would like to meet chick's on the beach, massage girls may be, or anywhere else but really unclear where to go and when.

I saw Jimmy the rasta location, may be to be tested tonight?

I have also a nice contact on badoo, she want to come to hotel too.

Any advices will be appreciated.

Other info for transport, as cotisse doesn't have good places left I booked on Trans tsy Tara, 40000, the leave early, 3 h40 am but arrive at 6 pm in tana. That's an advice of hotel owner, he travel with them anytime.

So things have improved.

By the end of afternoon, I tried to check the beach for massage girls or even girls walking there, but there was definitely nothing except people saying Hello, or salama in Malagasy, all very nice.

But, by walking on the street between baobab cafe and bougainvillier I saw several girls, some just sitting and calling for massage, they have a room behind or you can take their phone and call them from hotel, I took one number there.

Then I saw two cuties walking toward me, they stopped when I just watch them. One gave her number, I check ID's, 20 and 21.

I paid some beers and food in a bar on the street and came back alone to hotel, it was about 7 pm.

Around 9 pm after a power cut from 6 pm I called them, they came to hotel, security man bring them to my room and we had good time, shower altogether, action in bed but I didn't succeed in making any of them cum. May be its me, not experienced with young cuties like this.

Everything was open with both, I shagged them alternatively, several position, and had one pop.

Then they dress, they took some perfume from my bottle, very happy both of them, I gave some small chocolates which make them like kids, and gave 20 k AR each, after about 20 k for beers and food before.

Next time I will play with only one. May be it will be slightly better, but I wanted to try.

So, yes mada is mada. May I paid a bit too much. One of them was not happy of the 20 k but she left without any problem.

No photo as they didn't want.

Mongered 70+ countries but never been to Mad. Excited!

Sadly, only have 5 days to get a taste. Will be hopping around Ethiopia, Kenya, Comoros, Reunion, Mauritius, and Seychelles the rest of the trip.

Not too lazy to read this whole Mad thread. Made it back 15 pages in last two days, but have a neuro issue that causes eye strain and shitty migraines when I read too much.

So many names and nicknames for places:

Nose Be, Tana = Antananarivo, Sambava, Antalaha, Toliara, Andoany, Toamasina, Morondava, Taolagnaro, Antsirabe, Ambositra, Vatomandry, Tulear, Mangily etc.

Love the beach, but only have the 5 nights.

1. Where would you go for such a short trip? Prefer lower end brothels, meeting girls on the street, but can do clubs.

2. Are their issues bringing back to hotel? Don't really like ID checks etc (but don't like blackouts and no WiFi either).

Thinking about staying in Tana, but there are some flights directly to some of the smaller towns via Comoros etc.

Any suggestions? (feel free to beat me up).

Now it's difficult to go out without crossing some nice chick's.

This morning I went out at 10 am, after breakfast and shower, and on the street, in front hotel, a cute petite girl was walking.

She said Hello, you want massage? In the room? Yes in the room. How much? 30 k,hum no, 20 k? No 15 k, ok she said.

And then she came back with some cream, we took shower together, need to be clean for massage. I washed her. Then massage for 30 mins and then things came, everything open, nice moment spent with her, smiling girl, not much French but enough to understand each other.

I gave 20 and rest after that.

I try to put her Pic here, petite but nice body.

My experience last night. I arrived on Air Mauritius (3 hours late, assholes) at midnight. The only good thing was I was near the front and no other flights at the same time. I got through health and to the visa counter in 2 minutes. I asked for a 90 day visa (50 Euro) and she didn't blink. In another 3 minutes I had my receipt (slight change from before) and was in the immigration line behind one other couple. Being Mada they take their time but I got the visa and cleared in another 10 minutes. No bags to collect so out the door in 15 minutes! Must be some sort of record! No fixers, no attempts at bribes so I don't know what happened to NME.

Only drawback was my hotel didn't have my driver wait so I took a cab at 12:30 AM for 50000 (I know, too much but I was bagged and couldn't be arsed to haggle). And was at my hotel at 12:50. I am staying at New Select on a tip from Amadeuss (I think). Rooms are fine, king size bed, hot water, shit cable TV (the norm for Mada) and surprisingly good WIFI. If you are arriving daytime just show up and ask for the normal rate, 72000. I booked online my first night and it is a ripoff, almost 50% more. And Glacier is even closer than 100 metres with Pizza Gastronomie almost across the street. I don't know if that is the "big" one or the "small" one.

Premiere Class Transport cancelled my booking for Ambanja tomorrow so of course I go to the office and surprise, they are closed on Sunday, along with almost everything else. Will go early tomorrow morning and see what happens. If I have to wait more than 2 days I will say to hell with it and fly to Diego.

Sonic Boom: as to your question can I survive with no French at all? The answer is yes. You will have a much easier time the more French you know. I have some basic French and learn a little more each time I visit. Sure makes things easier. With no French at all it will be a struggle at times and often frustrating. If you are willing to take that on by all means give it a go.

(Sorry for late posting, but I'm still not done yet!

As the title indicates, if you love swimming then Mangily is where you'll find a nice, calm and clean sea where you can lose your self.

In fact, Mangily, is where you can detoxify your body and mind from the frantic city life. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. (with the exception of the vendors) come during low season! Cheaper and quieter!

Accommodations:

There are hotels directly on the beach though more expensive than the ones inward closer to the main / only tarred road. The difference is obviously the direct access to the beach, but once the sun sets the beach really becomes dead quiet (as I like) and no action! The hotels on the road and inwards have a more lively ambience with bars and food / snack local vendors on both sides of the road and ton of people and pacing back and forth.

But the village is very walkable and you can reach the main road from the beach in 10 min!

So in short;.

If you want to be in a busy setting surrounded by bars / discos, PLENTY local street food and local women after sunset and don't care about the sea that much then stay on / close to the main road. You'll also have the local market at your feet!

Prices vary; for beach hotels it's 45,000-200,000 AR, inward hotels are 10,000-35,000 AR.

Food:

There are really 5 options;.

1- Vazaha restaurants and all of these are on the beach. Highest prices but good quality plates with good quantity. I personally tried Chez Cecile and Princesse Du Lagun, and was not impressed with Chez Cecile for the reputation I heard about this place before arriving. The food was better for me at Princesse and they have a great dinner setup at night with fire and local live music / singing and dancing which is quite entertaining, however, they did terribly as they made 3 mistakes in my order and the glasses were filthy and unfitting of a vazaha restaurant!

I'm hopping that was a one off and not the trend!

Prices start at 22,000-25,000 AR per person.

2- Malagasy restaurants and the food is very good and hot. They have a green bean called 'Cabaru' which I love. They give you a dish of rice and your choice of meat / poultry or seafood in addition to the cabaru dish for 3,000-5,000 AR.

3- Malagasy street food vendors and this category comes alive after 5 pm especially on the main road. I've eaten there to test the food and was surprised how delicious and cheap it is. There is all kinds of food from pasta to fried seafood to brochettes to even cakes and sweets.

Prices start from 200 AR! And no I didn't get sick. I've never gotten sick from local food in all my travels!

4- Cook your own! Or hire a local for 5,000 AR to cook three meals for you.

Yes you can buy the coal / carbon stove around 5,000 AR, a pot or two for 20,000 AR each. Etc and of course the daily fresh sea food which arrives after 9 am and your basic food from local market. This is the best option for optimum freshness and control of quality!

5- Liked option 4 but don't want to go through the hassle of having to make daily trips to the market and don't want to buy all the stuff you need for home cooking but you still want a home cooked meal? Well, with this option you can hire a cook who will arrive to you with all the necessary tools and food to cook you what your heart desires. You can buy the "catch of the day" yourself and the cook will do everything else right in front of your doorstep!

Cost 3,000-5,000 AR for the "catch of the day" plus 10,000 AR for the cooking plus the rice / French fries and red tomato sauce.

I've personally tried this option and love so much that now I'm thinking to step up to option 4!

Safety and security and the dark roads. Hoooooh!

At the beginning I have to admit, I really needed to adjust myself to how dark the dirt or sandy roads between the beach and the main street really are! The first 3 nights I used a flashlight but noticed the locals weren't using lights! Then as I always greet people daily and receive warm welcome back and as I interact more and more with the locals I realized I have nothing to worry about, so, now, I just use the moon light and when I see someone with a flash light I know it's a tourist.

Folks, the people here are safe and Mangily is secured. So leave your fears and prejudice behind. Just be the vazaha who initiates a greeting and not just walk by them as though you're back home without saying Hello,.

Mangily is not connected to a public utilities grid / network so they rely on solar / batteries for electricity and wells for water. It's not dark because it's a low income bad neighborhood with high unemployment and drug use like in some developing countries.

Everyone here is working doing their part. Capitalism is true and pure here regulated only by market actors (buyers and sellers).

Toliara-Mangily traveling.

You have 4 options;.

1- Prvate taxi. Cost 50,000 either way. But make sure to have a few taxi numbers with you in Mangily to call from there.

2- Private Bajjaj / Tuktuk. They cost 20,000 AR one way. They have a couple of them in Mangily and a lot in Toliara.

3- Moto-taxi. These look almost like the famous Philippines' but seem uncomfortable as you have to climb into the back side and site on a crowded bench. Not sure the cost.

4- Taxi-brousse. These are mini-buses cramped with locals and sometimes chickens. LOL 3,000 AR. Not too many stops in between and not too bad.

Women:

Ok, many of you now want to discuss the only thing you think about; P you S S why!

Relax, we are still in Madagascar so no worries.

In short, Mangily is a small village so once you are seen with a girl then everyone knows it!

Now pay attention here!! If you pick a pro then you will be fine changing one for another. But once you pick a regular and go for another girl and back to first girl, well you probably lost the first one as she now knows you are playing. This just happened to me; p.

That being the law of P you S S why in mangily and knowing I don't like the pro route, I've decided I'll hunt once a week in Toliara and bring women from there. After-all no need to upset the wrong fisherman family when there is so much P you S S why a 35 min drive to Toliara.

Also, to my taste, Toliara girls look much prettier and have more variety of looks and more educated. Mangily girls are 90% dark with unappealing features. And they don't like bjs! I had only two who I coached but the rule is they don't like it. Again, I'm talking about pure regulars around 18 yrs old. I'm sure a pro won't mind.

That being said I have tried Mangily P you S S why and for me I go walking inside the village and smile, wave and say Hello,. If they smile I'm in, and I arrange a meeting in my bungalow directly for after sunset. Some say yes and some decline. Again, I soon discovered words were being passed around I'm inviting women to my room and some of the girls didn't like that so I decided to stick to the Toliara route. Interestingly, I still get smiles so maybe the Mangily door is not completely closed yet!

I gave a gift of 10,000-20,000 AR st and 20,000-30,000 AR LT and they always say merci!

Miscellaneous:

Women: They seem to be slightly of rougher appearance than what I've experienced from Toliara, Tana, Antalaha and Sambava. 90% don't even wear footwear and have harsh skin! Also, they are a bit more aggressive and not in the bed (I wish) but just for money and in a subtle way as a female they are less feminine in my eyes compared to "Bitsimsarka" girl of Sambava regiand.

My advice to newbies don't make this your first destination for mongering in Mada. Not worth it! Or spend your first 7 days in Toliara first cultivating female contacts to later invite to Mangily. Highly recommend!

Medicine: There is no pharmacy in Mangily. However, there is a dispensary where they have basic medicine like "Paracetamol" And they actually have a public hospital just on the edge of Mangily with a doctor on 24 hrs duty and a midwife. There you can get tested also for Malaria and HIV and get results instantly. You can get more medicines there. The consultation and tests are free but the meds aren't.

Weather: It's warm and slightly hot just for a couple of hours during midday. But nice and cool after sunset and slightly chilly during nighttime.

I had gotten slightly sick as soon as I arrived and went to see the doctor in the public hospital. He said it's typical because of change of weather.

But the weather is great. I never felt the need for AC or heater. But I have a small fan if needed. Also, no hot water.

Beach vendors: They could be annoying, but just smile and decline politely.

Mosquitoes: They are there and a bit annoying. Even the mosquito net can't stop them. But I found the antimostique coils do work. I light up 3 to 4 every night!

The Landscape: Mangily is very arid area with barren land, few vegetation and lots of cactus. Not pleasant to look at. But, then again, you get the beach and the sea, and the sunset.

SE.Thanks SE and other posters who took time to answer my queries. Safe mongering and keep posting your experiences.

Next. My side trip to Fort Dauphin!Great report!! Thanks a lot for sharing!!

Hello gentlemen,

Thank you for looking at my post, and thank you for your previous posts, both here and for other destinations.

I did RTFF, so please excuse me if I missed what I am looking for.

Madagascar sounds very much like what I looking for with the ladies. But I don't wish to spend a lot of time on third world roads, and I probably wouldn't be able to go for more than 2 weeks. So I'm looking at Nosy Be and Tana. Nosy Be sounds very nice for the beach etc, but is it better for mongering than Tana? If not I might just stay in Tana.

Do I need to find places that are "girl friendly". When I read about The Gambia and Mombasa that seems like a major issue.

Thanks you for your help and good hunting.

Kind regards,

Dave.

Fabulous report brasil! Thanks a lot for all these very useful info, and I will follow the exact same path next week, so all is great for me.

I am not at same level with my reports. But let's try.

Today transport morondava to tana via TransTsyTara, Mercedes 16 seats +2 in front, 40 k, quite good even with 1 seat only. I took the n10 next to the door. I could sleep, duration from 4 am to 5 pm. The tana station is a total mess but I had a taxi immediately for sole hotel, 20 k, tell me if it's too much.

Arrived sole hotel, 3rd floor, 91.5 k night, clean room, looks good, safe is there, shower looks clean.

I did a small tour around but came back to hotel and took massage.

Masseuse is a 27 petite but nice.

Massage start normally, back, then flip and I put my hand on her back, no issue, smile, then under clothes, then I undo bra, she continue massage specifically on sensitive parts closer and closer.

Then I ask to remove top which she did so I ask if she has condom, she look around and found one. So next step naked on the table and start the deed, she seems to appreciate, very friendly attitude. But I didn't come, bit tired. I gave 40 for massage and 20 for her and ask if she come to my room tonight.

She say impossible, but before leaving she say I will try to come, not sure if I can but will try. Let's see.

Mada is really an open country regarding girls.

And tell me if I give too much money.

Regarding security
The road n13 going to fort dauphin from n7 between fiana and tulear is avoided even by locals as totally insecure, info from local in the bus today. N7 also is to be avoided by night but day is ok.
And in morondava lot people speak about a tourist attack on the Tsibihirina, very violent, 1 attackers being killed by a gendarme in front of tourists. I just did the same route last week but didn't knew, many tourists there.

Tamatave can be an other option as it is only a 7 hrs. Ride with cotisse for myself I would pick Tamatave rather then Tana been at both place 10 years ago BTW planning a trip for 5 or 6 week in TulAR hopefully soon.

I am a bit surprised that she accepted 20k for sex. Normally they ask a lot more in massage places.I was surprised also but she didn't ask anything, it was like having a condom in one pocket somewhere was totally unplanned, and at the end I gave 20 Kar and she was OK. Her name is Patricia.

But today was a bit different.

So, today, new day, new discoveries. Not much but.

I was walking close to the indpendance place, then in the Lalana Russie street, and I saw three massage places, from start, driving way, they are on right.

All three presents a lineup of girls, 4 to 6, most of them very cute and young, massages start from 25 Kar for 1 HR up to 50 or 100 in one of them. This one, the first on right, need to enter inside a building and follow signs on the wall, it has jacuzzi and many options including surprise and they say hand job.

The third one, need to ring the bell, someone comes upstairs to open the gate, then down about three floors between buildings, and here they are, more classic menu but nice lineup too.

The second one, which I chose, entrance on the street after 4 steps, prices from 25 to about 60, classic menu.

I chose Anna, sweet young slim, 1 m65,19 she said.

Room is downstairs, mattress on the floor, looks OK.

When lying naked there she came, she ask for her top, I said ok remove it so she did, bottom also, only keep underwear. Nice view, small round and firm tits. Massage start on back. I ask some question and also if she can come to hotel at night. She said, I don't have ID. Hum hum. But she said she will do tomorrow and get it in one week. Let's see.

Not real massage but quite good in fact. When flip, she do all body and say she go to [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) and after caress. OK.

She come back, I ask to remove underwear, a bit reluctant but she did.

Then caress everywhere, I try on nipples, very very sensitives. Hmm, then I put one finger and both nipples and finger in pussy she start making noise, more and more and then had a big cum, so nice. She hide her face behind her hands. So cute.

I ask for condom, she say yes but mouth and then sex in pussy will cost 100 kar. I try to lower, the only cost I get is sex in pussy only for 50 kar.

But as I have other plans for right after I don't accept. I continue cuddle, and ask to massage her, she say ok, so I did a full massage of this nice body, sitting on her, including pussy, tits, so nice.

Then time is over, I give 20 kar for her and 25 kar for massage.

Very nice moment with Anna, so sweet and gentle, I hope to meet her next week at hotel.

She agree for one Pic but without face, then she check it and laugh. Nice Anna.

Some questions: 1) Is my understanding of the situation correct?

Pretty much, but it does depend on venue and the people. There are bars in Tana where the girls are not as easy to land, and if you troll on Facebook you might encounter "je ne suis pas une pute! But in most places it is just that easy.

2) If so, is it because mada girls want to be with white men? Or will this work with Black / Asian / any foreigner?

It is mostly because they are poor and the economy is so bad that the AR40,000 that you give them for one night is equivalent to 1 week of work at the average salary level. So the pros that are making that much every night are bringing in 10 x what their fathers or brothers make. This is true all over subsahara africa as already pointed out; but in Madagascar it is reinforced by the tradition of a "cadeau" or gift in return for sex, which is strongly rooted in the culture aside from mongering by white guys / foreigners.

3) Will this modus operandi work with an older guy? I'm talking late 60's.

Yep, some girls prefer older guys, and in fact that is also culturally rooted. Malagasy friends have told me it is easier for a man over 40 to get a young girl (20 or younger) than it is for a man in his 20.

4) Can I survive in mada without any French at all?

Yes but it is good to learn some basic words and sayings. A few Malagasy words go a long way as well.

I will land in airport of Tana, Ivato, and will try to buy a ticket at the airport office of Air Mada in order to proceed as soon as possible to Sambava. Therefore I plan to find a hotel in Ivato for (hopefully) not more than 1-3 nights, depending on availability of flights to Sambava. Meanwhile going to downtown Tana and spending those few nights there instead of in Ivato doesn't seem to be worth the extra hassle. However, I wouldn't want to be without female company even so while in Ivato. What is the situation in Ivato: is it easy to contact and pick up girls there as well? Anyone with experience in Ivato? I gathered from BrasilSoccer that he wasn't too successful over there. Anyone with more encouraging experience in Ivato? Thanks a lot.

Thank you so much for the detailed and informative response. I am very curious to know about the Madagascar culture now, especially on how sex money and age are related. Thanks again! In Tana, you will notice children, pre-adolescents, tweens, whatever sleeping on the streets, clustered together when it's cold. You'll notice young mothers, perhaps impregnated on their very first menstrual cycles, carrying swaddled infants and perhaps (likely) asking you for money for food. Its been said Malagasy society is matriarchal, but should you wonder why when you seen a 12-year-old girl breast-feeding her infant in the street? And, does this make you curious to know more about the Madagascar culture now? The equation is people are desperate poor and will do what they can to survive, while meanwhile you have money: that's how sex, money, and age are related.

Both are mongering destinations and I can't decide which is better as each city has its own cons and pros.

I arrived two weeks ago with premier class and not as I mistakenly reported with cottiss. Reason are that cottiss office is a few KM out of Tana Center and need to reserve a few days before using Taxi. Premier class office is inside hotel de mellis. Cost around 95 K and I used the oppetionity when booking to try the breakfast buffet at the Mellis. 22 K and I loved the fromages.

Majunga become the premier holiday destination in Mada both for locals and for retired from french, Mauritius etc. They comes for 3 months so its means that all hotels are full particularly when I was there Aug 2018 was holiday. Generally hotels in Majunga are not a good value as I saw 7 of them. New Continental Hotel was the only worth but it was full. Price range from 42 K at Hotel Bella Maria no A/C but firm mattress and very good for mongering to 95 K at New Continental Hotel. Don't even think about central hotel its run down.

The tourist belt start at Av Barday next to "central hotel" via Avenue de la Republique then Av de France and finally Boulevard Poincarre which is the Beach road known as Port de mer. This is where all restaurants facing the sea.

Port de Mer has new gastro pizza which is junk food and new LA Promenade Terrasse which is a restaurant also serve nice food, coco shakes and Pizza 5 levels above Gastro.

Girls can be found in the tourist belt but some may be dangerous so be careful to check if the photo on the ID match the girl face. Also taking photos are a bad idea and can be used against you from that area.

To get more real and adventurous mongering experience I went to cottiss station around 5 PM and many girls was walking you can take them directly to your room.

Overall, majunga is definitely a sex destination, no need to wait for nightlife, with many mettiss girls and some lighter skin. Many girls where very responsive and ready to go to the room without talking to much. Simple as that.

Since I don't like to stay long in any city as I prefer small out of the way towns with beach. From Majunga I went to diego and also had a great time. This will be a separate report.

Small story from Ranohira, isalo Park, where I spent two nights and a beautiful trek in the area for 13 kms with a guide. I stay "chez alice", nice hotel with small bungalows facing isalo mounts. Hot water ones are at 43 k and good restaurant for 25 k full menu three dishes.

The village itself is really not for mongering, one bar at the center, red walls with THB written, everything seems to happen there. But girls are very shy, difficult to get numbers apparently. So my guide offer to negotiate for me and did it with a nice chick, ok for 7 pm at my room. I wait there but the guide was obliged to come with her due to long sand road in the dark. Then she showered, very very shy, smiling, and we had a very good sex session even a bit fast. Then she dressed and I gave 15 k. She refuse it. I ask what is the pb, and after some time she said 100! I say no but 20, she say ok, I gave but she was not happy and left.

For those who like treks, this a good place for trek for some hours or even up to 3 days, everything organized by the guide, no need for special equipment. My 13 km small trek costs about 200 k including meal cooked in the park and surrounded by lemurs.

Security: now 40 km before Ranohira, fiana side, and 40 km after, tulear side, have to be avoided after 5 pm due to bandits attacks, everybody take care of that here, even police who has fear of bandits protected by "grigri" they say.

But by respecting these timings there is no problem.

And if some of you like to watch the sky u should know that there is the most clear and wonderful sky I have ever seen.

Hi all, now I am in mangily 50 km west of tulear.

I follow advices from Amadeus and Brasilsoccer and others.

What a wonderful place!

I am at Bella Donna with a restaurant with a French chief who was cook on luxury yachts, Bill gates for ex, doing cooking like in 3 stars Michelin restaurants!!

First was at bungalow 7, beautiful inside, brand new, wide bathroom, 80 k night. But not very privacy due to the restaurant and reception very close.

So I moved to number 2, facing the beach, Pieds dans l'eau, balcony on the beach, 90 k, a bit more ancient but very good for me.

There I see all girls walking on the beach.

One masseuse was sitting just in front, nirina, 34 years old 2 child's but still nice body and tits.

I waved her, agreed for 10 k 1 HR, she asked 15 k, and she came inside. Started shower, then she kept underwear and started massage, and surprise as the massage was good one with naked masseuse and the noise of waves behind us. Hmmm nice.

Not many teasing but good massage, all her body was accessible during massage. Then she ask for sex, said 30 k, but I didn't want, so ask 1/2 HR more of teasing for 5 k. She did, very nice teasing but wanted sex. And she left.

Right after, sunset was over, I went for a bath, 20 m and in a warm water, so good.

By going out of water I noticed 3 girls close to me, but chatting together, I said Hello, no answer but giggling, they looked a bit young. Hello again, they came, one was a bit chubby, 1 very small but nice and the other quite cute, slim also.

We said names and I ask ages, 18 all three. I ask for ID's, they say yes we have, we can bring. Do you want massage?. Let's see today may be. If they have real ID's.

On the afternoon I walked a bit toward village, and met Tina on the sand road. She said she is from tulear for some days here renting a room. Very cute, quite tall and slim.

I took her number and called her after lunch.

She came and we had a great session together, she slept all night and left at 6. May be I will call her again tonight, tomorrow she will be back to tulear.

Chocolates did great job when I proposed to her, she was so happy. I gave her 20 k and she left.

Mangily looks like a small paradise.

Thanks for all advices in this forum who helped a lot!

Pics from my balcony and Tina.

Dear Albert,

Your perception of the situation is not correct those ROBBERS the so called DAHALO operating mostly in Southern Madagascar have slaughtered many families during the night stabbing to death even chidren and women. But they are not protected by voodoo what you called GRIS GRIS but by the numerous corrupted officers of the country involving government members, police force, high ranked military and even the actual presidency of the country ruled by a criminal!

That country sucks! It is probably one of the most wicked and corrupted countries in the this World! Be careful with your safety. Especially when approaching women you can become a victim of extortion or fraud!

While mostly cattle owners are targeted and people impoverished as the dahalo steal whole herds of cattle and export them for slaughter. Madagascar can be very dangerous if you fall out. Recently a french national escaped from Tsiafahy high security prison. No fun. And it cost you a lot of money to get out. He bribed the prosecutor and Minister of Justice. A Canadian I heard of had to shell out 5000 Euros in Tulear to get off the hook shagging m. Rs. Allegedly of course. The money is shared between the Judge Prosecutor Police and Family of the girl.
