I find it very hard to believe that no one that I have helped in the last two months, both in the forum and via pm, has had sex with a Bangla girl.

I'd like to share some of my experience of yesterday in Dhaka. I keep visiting Dhaka thrice a year and I normally stay at the Westin or Pan P.
Last night I was at Pan Pacific and thought of checking out the 1s floor. I will post this here as this is the only really active thread on Bangladesh, and everyone should see it.
The government is likely to change in a few weeks. The likely replacement party is the BNP, which has a sizeable very conservative segment. I expect there to be mild "crack down" on prostitution until the new party can get their new bribery system in place.
This will not affect "foreigners" themselves, but may affect a few of the more visible places of entertainment, if only temporarily.
What will be affected is personal contacts and independent suppliers that are not on the bribery list. They will be made examples of how the new government is cleaning things up. Now is the time to protect your personal contacts by disclosing them only to persons you have had previous contact with via pm. If someone new wants you to share via pm, a personal interview first is the safest. Personally, that is the way I ALWAYS do it.
We mongers are not the only people that read this board.
All should be back to normal within a couple of months after the elections.

In a political climate like exists here in BD, the opposition party would be all over any hint of impropriety.Well Larbo the fact that Purbani hotel belongs to the government is true, but the hotel you're talking about is Hotel Ruposhi Bangla formerly Dhaka Sheraton as we all know. The reason Starwood Hotels and Resorts (the parent company of Sheraton) moved out was the disagreement with the government about the particular issue you mentioned. The government owned 49% of Sheraton from the very beginning and now owns all 100% of Ruposhi Bangla after Starwood Hotels moved out. And also Ruposhi Bangla has kept the 5 star status as Sheraton did too.
As far as the topic of the policy of "No Guests" in Purbani, IMHO I think it has to do something with the fact that this country is a Muslim country not political. I hope this would clarify your question Larbo.

LarboYes Larbo, the government has no part in Westin and Sonargaon, the parent company of Westin in Dhaka is a Bangladesh company though which is fully privately owned. Though Bangladesh is not a very conservative Muslim country any government owned entities are subject to some form of Islamic regulation, atleast what I know from my knowledge. So maybe that is the case in Purbani.
Useful inputs from other users might shed some more light on this issue.
I also believe this discussion is on topic as you said, mongers need to know the attitudes of the different hotels here in BD.

Hotel Purbani is not a govt. Owned hotel. There may be other reasons for not allow girls in rooms or there may be other secret routes to land girls in rooms which I failed to find then.

You can try Platinum suites in Banani road 11. Also I would have suggested you hotel 71. But the current political situation is not suitable. You can now easily bargain with the hotel as situation is bad now and they have less customers now. I say try Platinum suites for 70/80usd net price.

JohnieOne more I would like to add here, that is Rajmoni Isha Kha. Was stayed in 2009 in less than $60. Nice rooms and located almost city center. But the cons are you can not find street girls over there. You have to depend for your honey on the supply of hotel crews.

I do travel to Dhaka 3-4 times in a year and have been staying in either Pan Pacific, Ruposhi Bangla & Westin. I'm aware at all these hotels do have girls available in the bar at night which one could take to the room. Apart from these hotels, are there any other good hotel which follows the same pattern?

My last visit I stayed at PP. Was here for a week in October. On my first night, went to the 1st floor bar and was delightfully surprised at the quality and number of ladies. I've mongered all over the world (Brasil, Singapore, Dubai, Canada. Places of notable mention). My issue at that visit was that I think I overpaid at 20k. Went back a second night and got the price down to 15. Promised myself that next visit, I would max out at 10k.
I'm back in Dhaka today and, again at the PP for a week. Tonight I will sample the fare and see how successful I am at keeping the price down. Report will follow. I recall seeing some fine poontang and am hoping to find the one that got away from me last time. Long legs and gorgeous.

You can get the girl down to 7-8k at the max. I have stayed at PP few times before and found the girls very expensive comparitively. It is better to stay longer until the closing hours of the bar so that you bring their rates down further. They become more desparate to be picked up. I shall be there at the end of this month so hoping for something around 7k.

You are assured of getting the girl of your choice, and she is assured of getting a client. She will almost always cut the price a bit for a sure thing. Most do not really like sitting in the bar trying their best to get selected without breaking the rules of the bar regarding proper decorum.

Have been visiting Dhaka every quarter last year. Then due to political scene, could not visit in December last year. Now back again in Dhaka.
Every time I stay in Pan Pacific but this time due to cricketers, had to stay in Ruposhi Bangla. PP 1st floor bar is much better than RB ground floor bar, in terms of space, music, choice of drinks and of course quality and number of girls. During my first visit I met a girl Asma in PP and ended up spending every night in Dhaka and at least 20K taka per night on her including her drinks and food. During my last visit I had befriended a cute girl Shona and we are still in touch. During my last visit, couple of times she did not even accept money from me. Well, I think I fall in love with her, whenever I visit Dhaka.
The point is that since she came to my room one day (last year in June) she was blacklisted from PP hotel and not allowed to visit even the hotel's bar for 2 months or so. This is something stupid all these hotels have started. Even in Ruposhi you cannot take the bar girl to your room but you can take one from outside the hotel. WTF? I prefer picking a girl from the same hotel and take her to room; but seems this cannot be done in Dhaka anymore.
Last June, last day before I left Dhaka, I stayed in Dhaka Regency and my bar gf Shona visited me for 2 hours in evening (7-9 pm). Them charged me 50% of room rent for the 2 hours that my guest visited me. So stupid. Went to the 13th floor bar in DR also, but it seems to be a stupid joint just like RB. Girls come and sit with you, drink if you offer them and ask for money too. PP is much better in that case. Only issue being, you can't take the girl from that hotel's bar to your room, even during the day. Else that poor girl is blacklisted. Well! I'm like sex, but I feel for those girls too. They do it for a living, or maybe extra money, whatever.
I visit Chittagong too during my course of travel and am heading there tomorrow. The only hotel I ever stayed there was Agrabad. On the first floor there is a bar and the show is run by a sexy girl Putul. Have got her number too. She arranges for girls to go in your room. But quality is not as good as Dhaka. And none of them can speak English.
Well, I'm from Delhi, and considering the prices, quality, ease and availability of girls in Delhi, I still feel that Dhaka is not only too costly, but also includes too many hassles. I even thought of trying the escort sites in Dhaka, but just can't make up my mind to take the risk.
So far I'm happy staying in any other hotel and calling my bar gf Shona to my room. She's young, tight, great sex, nice to talk, very chirpy and at times good too. She does not push or pester for money nor does she ask a fixed amount at least from me. If I was a Bangladeshi, I sure would have married her. But them I'm well past heartaches and now just on to lower back or at the most ache.
For any expatriate, its a bit tough to find a real gem in this
fraud saturated country. But options are not dead.

I have visited "The Siam Oasis Spa" at Road-55, Gulshan-2 quite a few times. It is a very nice and clean place. All rooms are separate with attached bath having hot & cold shower, shower gel, fresh towels etc.
You can make appointment over phone. They have various types of massage and other therapies. They used to have both Thai & Bengali ladies for massage but recently the Thai ladies had to leave due to visa complications.
I always chose the hot oil massage (2800tk). I Have had massage from a Thai lady once and the other times from Bengali ladies. One thing I can guarantee, all of them are very well trained in giving massage. For extras, you have to be polite. Try to start a conversation. The Thai ladies were more open. They asked about extras themselves. In my case, near the end of massage she asked pointing to my crotch whether I want massage there. I said yes and she asked 2000tk for it! So amusingly this appears to be the most active forum for expats in Bangladesh anywhere on the internet. I have been a long time monger and reporter of my activities over on the Vietnam pages and was hoping that someone would be prepared to help me out.

So the best way to check is go early and sit in the bar so you can get a clear picture of what you are about to do as they walk in (sorry I am a sucker for good looks). Visited Smile last week. And here is my report:
Location: Opposite to German Embassy, they have a sign on the intersection along with names of other tenants of same building. Hard to miss.
Opening Hours: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM, I reached there are 9:20 PM but 5 girls were waiting for me as I called at around 8:30 PM that I was on my way.
Quality of Girls: Terrible. Really guys, I will not visit second time. Street hookers are better!
Damage: Tk. 3,500 for the room + 1 hour massage. The massage quality was way below par.
FS: Mechanical, no BJ, Additional Tk. 1500 to the girl.
The girls said other than the 5 I saw, there were 2 more girls who worked there. But with the quality I saw, I can guess how the other two will be like.
Not recommended.

Stayed for a week at Hotel 71 about a year ago. It's a good hotel, cheap, but saw no girls around and I doubt if it's girl friendly. I think it would be difficult to sneak a girl into your room as there are staff and cameras around. The rickshaw wallas waiting outside can take you to girls if you ask, but it is more expensive than if you find them yourself or go to the regular places other members have reported on.

I recently spent 3 nights in Dhaka for the sole purpose of mongering. I'm personally into the low-end brothel scene and had headed to Dhaka with the main purpose of visiting the brothel / hotels in Banani. Here's a report on my time there:
Day 1.
I landed around 2:00 and was able to clear immigration easily. I took a taxi to my hotel in central Dhaka and arrived there around 4:00. I'd done lots of research beforehand to familiarize myself with the city and its layout, and recognized when the taxi passed the Kakoli bus stand and the hotels. I was pumped!
I'd arranged beforehand to meet up with a member of this forum who was kind enough to spend several days showing me the ropes in Dhaka. He has my sincerest thanks and deepest appreciation, as does the other forum member who helped us connect. I picked up a sim card for Bangladesh but found that it didn't work with the phone that I brought to use as a BD phone, so I ended up contacting my new friend in Dhaka and he and I agreed to meet around 18:00. This was a good choice as it was in the mid-30's during the day and cooled off significantly later in the evening.
We met up as planned, made our introductions, and hopped on a rickshaw for a little tour of central Dhaka, after which we headed for Banani. It was a 20-30 minute rickshaw ride to Banani. My friend is a frequent flyer of sorts at various mongering destinations in Dhaka and has contacts all over. He and I walked by the hotels to assess whether or not they were open, and from the outside there wasn't much activity (usually there are 3-4 pimps waiting outside each hotel entrance but we saw none). My friend had me wait down the block while he went back alone to chat with a pimp he knows. His return brought bad news: the police had recently raided the hotels and they were shut down for the foreseeable future. Damn!
Fortunately my buddy had other ideas, and we hopped on a rickshaw to meet up with a pimp who has contacts with a few private flats in the central Dhaka area. After a 30-minute rickshaw trip we'the arrived only to be denied admittance to the first house as they weren't interested in taking a westerner. Fortunately we checked with a second source and he brought us up to a private flat on the 7th or 8th floor of a normal residential building.
There were 4 girls in the apartment and none of them were what I was seeking. They were age (19-28) but all were a bit on the heavy side. For reference I'm looking for a girl (18-19) and thin as a rail. I said "no" to all of the girls but the pimps were insistent that I pick one. I simply wasn't interested so instead I bought a girl for my companion (1500 BDT).
Afterwards my friend spoke to the pimp and asked him if he'the be able to locate a girl more to my liking. The pimp agreed and asked us to come back the next day.
Day 2.
I met my friend around noontime and we discussed what our next steps should be. He proposed that we take a trip across the river to Daulatdia, the largest red light district in Bangladesh. I'the considered this option in the planning stages of my trip but eventually decided against it based on feedback from the members here on ISG. My friend was confident though as he's been there before and had a pal who would be able to go with us to help guide us to the right girls and avoid any potential pitfalls. We decided that we'the head out to Daulatdia that evening!
In the meantime though, we still had that pimp in the private flat to visit. He said that we should meet him after 15:00 so we decided in the meantime to go see a film and get lunch at a large mall in Dhaka.
We finished with the film around 16:00 and grabbed a rickshaw back to the private flat. This time we actually went to an apartment on the same floor but next door to the one we'the visited the night prior. It seems like these guys in the residential buildings move around often to avoid scrutiny by other tenants.
They'the found a girl that was nice and thin, though she was a bit older than we'the discussed, but it was certainly still a good deal and for 1500 BDT she was mine ST. She provided covered FS in a bedroom on site, and despite being a bit rushed, it was overall an enjoyable experience.
Now it turns out that while waiting my accomplice couldn't help but keep himself from one of the other ladies on offer and ended up going with her! Same price for him - 1500 BDT. And he said that she gave a mean BJ.
After we were through at the flat we decided to take a break and meet up again later, so I returned to my hotel and got some rest in preparation for the long haul to Daulatdia later that night.
We got together again around 21:00 and unfortunately my new friend's contact who was going to accompany us wasn't up for the long trip out there so late at night as he had other business to attend to. Oh well, we forged ahead just the two of us.
To get from Dhaka to Daulatdia you must take a bus from the city (we caught one at Gabtoli bus stand) to Aricha port, the ferry terminal across the river from Daulatdia. Once there you must board a ferry to cross the river and then take a rickshaw to the rail station adjacent to the brothel.
We reached the rail station around 01:00 and proceeded to find a room in a local hotel immediately across the rails from the brothel. The hotel wasn't anything to write home about. A small room with a fan, mattress, and dirty sheets; there was a communal squat toilet and a hose in the bathroom for showering.
Day 3.
The power goes out frequently in Bangladesh. In the city this was fine as my hotel had a backup generator but in the country you just wait it out until the power comes back on. I woke up around noon because the power had gone out and the fan had stopped running, turning my room into a sauna.
I went out and knocked on my companion's room and we decided to visit the brothel at dusk when I'the stand out less, not to mention when the temperature would be lower! He was concerned about me being aggressively accosted by the girls trying to sell their 'wares' in the brothel, and the less visible I am the less we expected it to happen.
My friend spoke with the folks downstairs at the hotel and we found a man who was willing to accompany us into the brothel for 500 BDT and help us find girls. We planned to meet up at 19:00 to head over.
A quick hop across the tracks is all it took and we were in! There was a small fee to enter the brothel (maybe 50 BDT?) and you get a little receipt that you need to return when you exit.
The brothel itself is a labyrinth of narrow corridors with girls everywhere. There are small courtyards that extend out from these corridors with a fistful of rooms opening onto each courtyard. Each set of rooms around a courtyard is run by a mamasan. We walked around a bit, surveying the girls that were lining the corridors, and eventually stepped into a courtyard where a beautiful girl was available that was to my liking. She was perfect - 155 cm and 55 kg, probably around 19 why / o.
I took the girl into her room, which was basic with a fan, bed, table, dresser, light, and curtains over the windows. We undressed, she applied a cover, lubed herself up, and away we went. We finished after 5-10 minutes. The damage was 500 BDT. Yes, $6 to bang a sweet young girl!
After that we continued the hunt, finding another girl. At first I thought she was my type, but upon reaching her room it turned out that her tits were really saggy. After dinner we went in search of one last screw and found it in a courtyard that seemed like it was at the furthest reaches of the brothel. The girl looked 18 or so, and was similar in size to the first girl I'the had that night. She quoted 300 BDT. Sold!
Once we got in the room things were looking good. The power had been out but it came back on as we entered. She took off her top and her tits were fantastic: firm and well-formed. Overall it was a fascinating trip. I wish I'the had more time to explore this fascinating country and its women.
