Some of the bars on street 130 (Honey Pot, Angry Birds and at least one more I believe) have $15 BF on Fridays and Saturdays.I wasn't aware of this. I didn't take anyone out of Angry Birds when I was in PP in December, but I did take a couple of girls out of Honey Pot mid-week. It reinforces that one must get all the relevant information before committing to taking a girl out ie. Cost of barfine, cost of girl, what activities she'll participate in, whether she bareback (if that's your thing) etc.
Recently, my wingmen and I spent 6 days in Phnom Penh (PP), Cambodia. My regular wingman and I have been there 2 years ago, but only for 4 days. This time, we picked up 3 more punters from Thailand and all 5 of us descended on PP. Another punter had visited PP once before and the other 2 never.
We stayed at the Grand Waterfront hotel on 130. I reserved through Agoda and picked their smaller room by mistake, more like a studio. The normal room is much bigger and only slightly more expensive, at $50/ night. They have even bigger rooms for slightly more but I heard from the wingmen that the window AC unit cannot cool them well enough.
PP has not changed much from 2 years ago, maybe a bit dirtier. At the corner of our street, close to the river, there was a homeless family staying on the street. That area looked scary and smelly, pretty bad. The family had 2 young children and I felt sad for them. Some of us did our best to spoil them. We went to lunch every day and we were not very hungry. Hence, there was plenty of leftover food for that family.
From the punting side, I noticed that prices have gone up, to the point that they are much closer to prices in Pattaya. But the chicks were much friendlier and less mercenaries. We were always quoted tourist prices and I for one rarely negotiate. But I was happy with the service. Most of my mongering was concentrated in 2 areas, the bars and Darlin Darlin (DD). Other folks ventured elsewhere but I did not, as I am a sucker for eye candy.
I picked up 2 lovely ladies at DD. One of them was Cambodian and turned out to be a star fish, a waste of money. The other was Vietnamese and was a different story, the best of the entire trip (Thailand / Cambodia). She was eye candy, even DDG (drop dead gorgeous) with a stunning body, slim with nice curves, and customer oriented. Her service bordered on the PSE (porn star experience) side. I ended up seeing her 4 times for all night. At DD, the girls were asking $100 for short time, and $150/$200 for LT.
I also picked up a few chicks from several bars around the hotel for short time action. The girls wanted $50 for short time action, but were willing to go for $30/$40. However, I found the bar scene annoying, as the girls would swarm around you and pester you for drinks all the time you are there. Two of us were softies, so the girls kept picking on us and we ended up with large drink bills every time, which tainted the experience a bit. I eventually learned to manage the damage from LD drinks.
We also visited a massage parlor, on the 5th floor of the Soul Golden City hotel, one afternoon. That was a complete disaster. 3 of us picked girls and we all had a disappointing experience. The girls wanted $100, and they would not settle for less than $50. Yet, they provided lousy service, no kissing, no BBBJ, no touching. My girl was eye candy but I could not get it up with her. I was so turned off that I got up, got dressed, tossed her a $50 bill and left in disgust. She tried to get me to stay but I would no consider it, I was so pissed. She did not speak a word of English, yet when I tried to communicate with her using an app on my phone, she did not show any interest. Incidentally, we had a similar experience 2 years ago at the Yang Mei MP. So, no more MPs for me in PP.
Overall, I had a good time on this trip, as my Vietnamese chick was the highlight of the trip for me. Next time, I will focus my effort on DD and the bars, no more experimenting.

I have been in PP for two days stopover again and would like to add my 2 cents to the overall "pricing"discussion:
Yeah prices been spoiled. Yeah its not like 10 years before. But PP is not like it was 10 years before.
My experience is: ST 20 to 30, good service. LT 40 to 50, good service. Can be hit or miss, depending on girl, mood and time of day.

But let me be frank: If you are really overweight or ugly or into all too exotic practices then the prices may explode for virtually non-existing service.
That doesn't mean you have to look like a movie star, but shave, clean teeth and fresh shower may reduce the damage by 50%.
My experience is: If you look cheap the prices go up. Even if the girls ask for 100, if you offer 50 LT with an accommodating smile they will accept. If you tell them that you don't pay 100 $ for a w* then they will likely turn around and go.
I usually treat the girls like they treat me and they e-mail and SMS me even when I go back. Certainly no love but they do seem happy to see me whenever I get back.
Whether you get a hardened hooker or a sweet countrygirl depends on your picks.
Word to the wise: Do NOT Believe anything the girls say. Do NOT get involved. I had my time with a Khmer girl and it took me a few weeks to find out what she was. .
Still, many girls are nice. Just don't expect too much. If you are willing to marry, things may be different, but I ain't.
Avoid Soraya Mall. It's really getting a dump and too many drugs there. Lina Vong a / k / a Sreyoun Aihdisdiz is back in town. Soraya - after some stint in the countryside, avoid her like the plague. She gave a buddy of mine the syph a few weeks ago (he said his condom ripped, may be true or not, she does offer bareback in all 3 h's for 10 or 20 $ tip to support her drug habit).

I was in PP last year December for 4 nights and stayed at Lux Riverside hotel for $220.
I had a beautiful room with king size bed, only downside was the view from my room (gallery with entrance to other rooms). But it was girl friendly and the front desk always rung to check if everything was OK when girls were leaving.

Close to action and the night market. I stayed there many times and can recomand that hotel. By the way, it is for sale again. I also just stayed at Indochine 2 on 130st (because Sary's was full) and that was fine as well. Same deal with the locked gates and 'security' not caring who you bring back.

I just had this friend of mine come back from PP. Although he said for the most part he loved the ID tell me that there was a very scary encounter. He wen to this area known for FL called what NOM or something like that. He picked up this girl, asked her how old she was and was reassured she was over 18. But is there a method of telling how old she is?

Watch out for codeine preparations. They are on the restricted list (Schedule II of the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs).
Schedule II products are only allowed for medical or scientific use but - contrary to Schedule I products - do not necessarily need a prescription, although many countries do require it and/or limit the quantity that one may carry at any one time (usually not more than needed for its intended use; hence "stocking up" is beyond that limit).
Best to check what the customs and border authority requires in all countries you pass as even with a prescription you can get in trouble when passing customs if you failed to declare or do the proper paperwork.

Just had another lovely weekend in Phnom Penh. Because I booked late I ended up at Zing hotel next to the central market. I can confirm that this is a girl friendly hotel. They just take the ID of the girl and you will get a call from reception when the girl leaves to check if everything is ok. (which I always think is a nice touch).
I just ended up doing the bars between 104 and 136 and must have been to about 15 of them. Most of them are quite nice. I like the scene in PP. So much more relaxed than Saigon.
One particularly crappy bar was Bar 136 on St 136. I was literally hounded for drinks. They must have asked 7 or 8 times within the first 5 minutes. The girls just stare at you and the only English they speak is "Buy me drink". Needless to say I was gone within half a beer.
On the other end of the spectrum is Honey Pot Bar on St 130. This place has the most comfortable bar stools, the girls are overall good looking with a few gems. They do not hassle you for drinks which is great, so it actually feels like the drinks that you offer are appreciated, not expected. And it seems that at least several of the girls do go out with customers. I managed to take out on two different nights which was great. Bar fine is a bit higher than other bars with $15 on Fri Sat, and $10 the rest of the week. I recommend this place, and will certainly be back soon.

Just back from another 3 weeks mostly in Phnom Penh in May. I stayed that the De Art hotel, Street 106, in the middle of the action between 104 and 136. I paid $30 per night on Agoda. I can confirm this is a girl friendly hotel.

The pricing debate comes up eternally. What is really not understood enough is the bad dynamic of the price war. Before, lets say ten years ago still the prices were hardly mentioned, usually fixed the girls paid afterwards without being consulted. A tip of a dollar or two meant something. The girls in order to survive tried to get more repeat customers by giving good service. GFE. Some mongers were not happy with that they tried to get more personal leverage by throwing more money at the girls. It worked. But the girls learned that there is another way to make more, rather than give good service learn to gouge. There goes the service. Now in many places like the girls are not interested in going with you rather just extract money from you at the bar instead. And if they go out with you they are in a hurry to go back there.

Demand sets the price, and the price sets the demand, that is a basic rule of Macro Economy on a free market.
Inflation is influenced rather by surplus of money or goods, while there is a lack of money or goods on other side.
Cambodia didn't became suddenly a next Singapore, and their people didn't become suddenly more educated, so the inflation and price is not set by the rise of their economy and income.
But what happened is that more of westerners came to Cambodia, and started to trow money around themselves, which did push the prices up.
If some idiot comes to a country, and pays them for 3 days a monthly wage, why would the other girls then demand less?

Prices in PP increased way more over the last ten years than anywhere else in SE Asia.
Up to 5 years ago, it was a quite common 30-20-10 dollar rule. 30 for LT, no BJ was - 10, shower and dress after 1st round was. Another 10 and with just 1 dollar motorbike tip a girl walked out often with just 11 dollar. Talking now about Street 104 bars, excluding Rose Bar where the girls pretended to be more upscale than all other bars. And never any issue the day after when you returned to the same bar. Also the time of all the Viet girls in Walkabout, 15 dollar ST. And ST up to 2 hours. OK when you paid 10.
They would ask for 15 but then you added 1 as tip for motorbike. Virtually no questions.

I just spent the better part of two weeks in Phnom Penh, and I'm sorry to say that I didn't spend a lot of time in girl bars. In fact, I only took one bar girl home the whole time. Khmer girls are hot and awesome, and I've got some charisma so I managed to get a couple of nice girls without any P4P.
My experience with girl bars and bar girls, however, are as follows: the night I landed it was kinda late when I got in so I passed out and woke up around midnight. I decided to head to Candy Bar. It was a Wednesday night, so I instantly got swarmed by girls; there were something like 7-8 girls all trying to rub my shoulders and get me to grope them. Of course they were trying to get me to buy them drinks (which I did) and play games with them (which I did). This went on for probably over an hour, maybe two. I know because my clothes smelled like cigarettes when I left, and I don't smoke. Anyway, I decided to take one of the girls home (cute, looked 19-21, nice thighs and ass, but when she pulled her tits out they looked a little deflated. Which was a small mystery because I didn't see a ton of stretchmarks, though there were a little, and I didn't see a cesarean section scar but her pussy was nice and tight), and I paid for her barfine and all the girl drinks and it came to a grand total of $41. I gave the girl $25 for our ST romp. It was basically a quickie, not a 2 round ST stay. She tried to upsell me, but I was not about to be swindled.
I popped my head into a few other girl bars, but I didn't take any other girls home. There was a girl with a nice rack in Angry Birds, but when I realized they were fake I lost interest. There was a really cute young number in Peaches, but she doesn't go with customers. Buyer beware. That thing all the other gents are saying about "make sure the girl will leave with you" is absolutely true; I was so disappointed. Fortunately I figured that out before I bought more than one drink. There were literally no other attractive girls in the joint; stay away from Peaches.
The place I got dragged into more than once by the girls outside was Heartbreak. It's a karaoke bar that they can make into a smallish dance club if they or you feel so inclined. You can smoke weed in there; it's the only girl bar that allows it that I was able to find. Anyway, the first night I paid a little over $20 in lady drinks and didn't take any girls home despite several advances from a few girls. The second time I went in, they totally screwed me. After 3 rounds of drinks (the third of which I didn't want at all, and insisted that only 3 girls got drinks for. Which of course they billed me for 6) the total with no barfines came out to be $66! WTF! Needless to say I was very disappointed. They even tried to sell me marked-up weed. If you happen to go to Heartbreak and see a girl you like, barfine her ass and leave; don't pay stupid prices for lady drinks like I did. Maybe don't buy lady drinks for the whole bar either.
Lineup at 16:30 today was OK. All the chicks were light skin so I threw out the Viet / Khmer notion. The two youngest / cutest girls were walking out of fishbowl as I was walking in. The best looking remaining girl wasn't trying to get my attention. Place is overpriced and if I had scored the top 2 cuties I would have settled for $10 normal and no more than $20 yam yam. I wasn't spending over $30 to partake.

This report is pretty thin on details and might be read as an advertisement for LE Cyrcee. It's not an advertisement, but definitely an endorsement. I was in Cambodia on business and wasn't really free to wander the bars, and bringing a companion back to my hotel wasn't an option. Also, scads of years ago when I visited Phnom Penh, I was free to roam and never got around to visiting the Secret Club. Anyway, I worked (yes, worked) through the weekend and decided to hit Cyrcee on a very rainy Sunday night about two weeks ago. The place is easy to find if you know where to go, and I had made a daylight trip over to central market for the sole purpose of reconnaissance.
I walked in about 8:00 pm And thought I had died and gone to heaven. First, there was a whole bar full of pretty women. You can quibble about what "pretty" means and first impressions are sometimes misleading, but the visual impact was a whole bar full of pretty women. Next, the ladies all gave a loud cheer when I came in. WTF? TTG's entrance doesn't produce the sense of shock and awe that was common in my youth, and it took me a few seconds to realize I was the first customer to come through the door that night. (Remember, it was raining, and raining hard.) I pushed yes, pushed my way to the bar with women all over me, literally, and ordered a scotch.
Once I sat down, some sort of order was restored. I think the ladies have some sort of hierarchy, and about 4 of them stayed with me at the bar for a bit. Once I asked one girl her name and bought her a drink, the others disappeared not really: they retreated to the seats around the bar. I finished my scotch and settled the bill. She asked if I wanted a 3-some (no)(I think the girls are required to ask) and we talked money for about 10 seconds before we left for the short-time hotel almost exactly across the street. The room cost was $5.
In the room, we undressed she had a very nice body. She was an accomplished and enthusiastic bed-mate. Lots of play and no hurry to finish. One shot and done, however. The third night, my choice was actually borderline voluptuous not often seen in SE Asia, in my experience, outside of Indonesia.

The short-time room was tolerable, but just barely. Someone has mentioned (below) that the girls will come to the customer's room. I'm not sure that is worth it for short time, but to each his own.
The website for LE Cyrcee (www dot cyree dot com) has a few pictures that give a pretty accurate picture of the looks / quality, but there were many more ladies in the bar than are shown on the website. (I'm not sure of Jackson's protocols for listing other websites!

Firstly about the website TTG misspell it try Cyrcee rather than Cyree. As for my own experience, pretty much like what TTG wrote only I wasn't very impressed with the gals, my costs AT the bar was 10+3.5+2.5=16+tip.
There was two gals I think were attractive a slim gal that was always playing with her phone and a plumper innocent looking one named Lin or something like that. I made the mistake of following the advice of a pp senior and not discussing price pretending I was regular customer. I actually have been to LE Cyrcee 4-5 times starting in 09, but never took any girl. Anyway I took her back to my hotel on st51 without any probs and service wise I couldn't complain, the issue was the body, she had saggy breast for a 21 yr old given that's she had a baby last year, makeup off and in the light she definitely wasn't as cute as I originally thought. Anyway time to leave and I handed her 25 dollars as was suggested by posters. Nope she refused telling me that it was 40 blah blah anyway I wasn't going to make a big issue over that but I wasn't going to roll over and die, I told her this wasn't my first rodeo and handed over a extra 5 so a grand total of 30 dollars for short time. So the total costs for this was 45 dollars incl barfine, considering what I can get for 45 dollars elsewhere in Asia, and the fact that I got some young never been pregnant girls for some starfish sex for 10 dollars in Phenon Phen. I'm my personal experience given that I'm more into looks than service and don't mind adventure fucking, I personally would prefer 4 adventure fucks with younger and prettier gals tho def less service, than what I experienced from Ly Cyrcee. My two cents. The take home message is definitely clarify the price before taking the gals back to the hotel. BTW I asked a few of LT was possible they said no (the ones I liked) but some of the older once came over and offered LT to me.

There are still quite a lot of houses in disguise. If you have a motorbike, you just ride around town and be observant, not hard to find. These shops mostly with Viets, not big usually with 3-5 girls, they disguise as salon shop, massage shop, coffee shop, restaurants, last year even found one as small grocery store with 3 young Viet girls sitting around. But these shops come and go so quickly, every trip with 6 months gap, you don't find these shops anymore they have moved. For me the best way to find these shops is to rent a motorbike and ride around town, they are basically all over the city, last trip I even found a small restaurant right in front of Pontoon, and there are always 3-4 girls sitting inside, and I went in and tried to order food but was told they only have beer, and turned out to be one of these shops as well, room in the back, paid 25, Viet lady, but I am sure Khmer locals pay maybe 15-20.

Can you give location of this massage?There are cheap massage places everywhere once you get out of the riverside area. They tend to have a sign advertising massage for 10,000 riel. I'm sure any tuk tuk driver would be happy to take you. Heading up Hwy 5 parallel to the river, towards Svay Pak, there's a lot within 10 minutes of 130st (which is where I stay). Well I just came back from Phnom Penh, and the things got a lot worse then they were earlier.
Night 1.
Went to the Butterfly Bar on the 136 Street at about 8 pm, not many customers but some hot chicks were inside, a pair of 8-8. 5 and several 7's, rest mediocre.

I said to myself OK fuck it I go to another one, so I went to the Pascha Bar, 7 or 9 girls inside, no customers.
All chicks are mediocre and 2 or 3 in their late 40 s, one was a 7.
Ordered a drink, and a lady drink to the 7 and asked her to go with me, so far so good, paid barfine 15 $ and the drinks 7-7.5 $.
So we went to the hotel, started the session and after 5 minutes she cummed, went to the bathroom to dress, and demanded 50 $.
I made the same mistake as the previous poster and haven't discussed the price beforehand, so we had some drama and in the end I gave her 40 and said to go away.

Although I find that very hard to believe, if it's true it's outrageous. All other nights were almost in the same manner, I go to a bar and try to barfine the hot ones and get rejected, those who went with me to the hotel start asking for 50 $ even after we cleared the price beforehand.
I am in my 30's, good looking and not fat, I also spent 2 weeks in Pattaya prior to Phnom Penh and hat a blast there for less money and without any hustle.
Here not only you are expected nowadays to overpay them, but in the end you don't even get any service for your money...I guess it pays to remember that you're not out trying to pick up a date; you're trying to hire a prostitute, so being just because you're middle aged and not fat (I'll ignore the good looking part as that's subjective) doesn't mean they're necessarily going to fawn all over you. As I mentioned before, many of the true hotties can make a very comfortable living off lady drinks. Why would they go off fucking random strangers if they don't need to?
As for the prices in PP being steep, I do agree that they've risen very quickly without the quality necessarily keeping pace. Still, this seems to be the same in many places. The barfines in Angeles City have also increased quickly whilst the standard of girls in the bar has fallen.
Personally, I enjoy PP as a destination far more than I do Pattaya. Obviously it doesn't have the variety that Pattaya does, and the prices are comparable, but there are still enough girls to keep most people happy. We all have different tastes and whilst I could happily spend a month between PP and Sihanoukville, I find Pattaya does my head in after a week.
Well I just came back from Phnom Penh, and the things got a lot worse then they were earlier.
Phnom Penh might be good for those who like to endless fights over the payment, service and so on. But for people who want it to go stress free, I think it would be better to spend your time elsewhere.I don't understand why you guys have so many problems in Phnom Penh. 1. What is the process after landing at the airport. I assume I will have to fill out an immigration card like I do for Thailand. I know I will have to bring a passport style picture for the visa but at what point does that come into play? When I'm going through immigration or just after? I also know the visa is around $30.
2. What is the average cost for a tuk tuk from the airport into the city? I have seen somewhere that is it in the $8-15 but haven't been able to confirm it.
3. The girls. Are the beer bars, places the same as in Pattaya? What I mean is, do you simply walk in and look around before settling on a woman to talk to?
4. Most important, how do you tell if the women are of the legal age? Yeah, I can ask for the ID but, since I can't speak / read the language how do you determine their age from their ID?

I would concur with AskeAske, it's been some time since I visited but I had good 5 days. There are those odd cherry girls but more for the picking comparatively. Besides we also have Naga and Pontoon to hunt. So things should sail smoothly unless one is being stuck up about the experience he has had in LOS or Philippines.
I have been planning to return for quite some time and hope it works out soon. My guess is that the only thing if was to change would be the prices in PNH.

I see so many guys wandering in bars not knowing how to find what they want. But all you have to do is ask. That's the advantage of having good bar western owners and managers present on site every day. The girls at these bars are all of legal age and the bars seem to to be run ethically but again chat to the owners / managers and they will show you how to read the ID cards and help you. These guys live in Cambodia and spend every night dealing with these sorts of questions and probably know more than most of the people here whose experiences are based on less time in country. I always found these guys willing to give up to date and accurate info on the scene in PP. You can branch out from the bars once you get a feel for the place. Just my opinion!

When entering a bar the wrong girl approaches you for a drink ask her if the one you want is her friend, point at her. They obviously are all friends. So the wrong girl will initiate the switch for you. You are being approached by the right girl and she asks for a drink, order your drink. Then after she brought it over ask her if she is on the period, which is what they often say when you want to take them out, then ask her if she goes out with the customer, and only then after 2 yes you will buy her a drink. All this you do in good humor of course feeling them up and so on just ignoring the drink request. When you actually then decide to take them out do not ask: how much? Instead offer her 20 $ st or 30 $ overnight, long time. That gives you a good starting point for the negotiation, although 20st is already enough.
For the "old enough" question sadly is almost irrelevant nowadays, however you should ask them their age and later have their ID checked at your hotel. They know how old she is.

My point with my age and looks was not to brag or something like that, I mentioned that only to explain that my rejection was not based on my age, looks or attitude, but solely due to the economical reason.

I also agree that some of things could be avoided, but that is the point which I wanted to bring up that nowadays you have to be strict and dominant to get what you want.
I personally don't like 5 min discussions about the price or when they try to squeeze more money after sex.
In Pattaya I rarely was asked for higher price then the standard one, and after 1 min I would always bring it down to a normal one.
Here is the opposite thing, even when you mention the normal price they still try to get these "magic" 50 $, so in the end you have a lot of stress to get your thing under your conditions.

First, apologies for not replying in time to some PM's. I had some really demanding business travel and an equally demanding personal trip to the Kingdom of wonders and haven"t been able to read up.
I was in Phnom Penh fot 10 days mid / end of August to sort out some personal matters. As I had hinted in some earlier post, I had made the mistake to get involved with a girl early this year who quite caused a bit of trouble.
Long story short, I wanted to fully understand what and who I got involved with. Turned out it was worse than one could expect, and since by stuff with her is sorted I figured a little warning may be in order. My intent is actually NOT to badmouth the girl, that would be a bit quite narrow-minded.

What I did not know when meeting her was first, that almost all drugs pushed around Soraya come from her and that she, together with a Barang and a Khmer dude, organize most of the girls not only around Soraya.
She loves to ask guys to smoke up a bit on drugs, first selling them the stuff for triple price and then calling in PP police. Luckily, I have an aversion against anything which does not come in longneck bottles, but apparently two guys had to bribe their way out. She also makes pictures or vids, and copies phone address books for the purpose of blackmail. Most of the girls around Soraya are seemingly indebted to her and will do her bidding. That includes Ara, a stunningly petite, 22+old Khmer beauty, Nay, slim, 20+, petite but big boobs, Chanya, 25+ mute working in the first establishment on the right of Soraya and a few others.
It seems like she has access at least to some low ranking police in PP, enough to make some blackmail scams possible. No matter if allegations are true, in PP you either pay the blackmailer or the police to get out of any jam. I narrowly avoided it by taking the first flight out of there, and that's a first for me. I did not believe she could put pressure on me when I filed some complaints but learned otherwise.
Now I don't want to be a spoil sport and PP is still lots of fun. Outside Soraya. And that includes Pontoon and HoD. Her influence is Zero.
- Be careful what girl you take out.
- NEVER EVER allow a local girl to use your phone.
- lock your stuff and especially passport in the safe.
- DO NOT do drugs. Especially not with one of the girls. If you get involved in any kind, QUADRUPLECHECK any story.
- Be VERY careful if a girl changes her phone numbers frequently.
- You still CAN get SIM cards without registration, But either way, again, avoid lending phone, card or both to a girl.
- It is a good idea not to give any girl your real name or home adress.
- I noticed that some guy in the hotel taped the action in my room. Not sure if that was his personal little enterprise or if he did that on L. 's behalf. Needless to say, he does not have any tapes, got fired and needed some medical attention. Still, gives one something to think about especially if you are married.
I never had such issues before and figure I won't have them again. I got lucky this time and was smart enough to check certain things although I should have employed some measures earlier. Another guy she worked on was in head over heels, he "loaned "her his daughter's college fund and, upon learning who and what she was resorted to physical violence which is always the worst of options.
I do not figure anyone on here would be lured by such offer, but just in case: L. Is also offering her daughter for services. I do not know if for real or just for purpose of blackmail, but anyhow, you should be clear that such thing constitutes a crime in almost any jurisdiction and will get you in deeper trouble than you can imagine. I have thought long and hard whether or not to post this on here and can but hope I have not violated any policies. For this reason I have omitted the email addys I have of L.
The pictures where she has those injuries she sent me after the guy whose daughters college fund she gambled away had messed her up and she needed money. Since I knew by then who and what she was I did not feel inclined to help.

From there you go along to the payment desk to the far right. They'll process your visa and put it onto a full page of your passport and give it to the payment officer. When you see the payment officer with your passport, go to the desk and pay.
2. Don't worry about taking a taxi / tuk tuk from inside the airport. Walk out to the road (follow the others going the same way) and there'll be plenty of tuk tuks lined up out there. I paid $6 or $7 (can't remember) in April to go to 130st. You may be able to get it cheaper if you bargain heavily but I was ok with that amount.
3. The bars are mostly indoors although some have an outdoor seating part. Be aware that not all girls go with customers so verify that she'll go with you before you invest heavily in LDs.
4. If you're concerned about legality, just don't go with anyone you have doubts about. I've not seen any bar girls in PP who even looked borderline legal so it's never been a concern for me.
Most of all, just enjoy the place and have a great time. It's a lot less manic than Pattaya which can be a nice change.

Hope this report provide some pointers for first time monger / visitor in PP.
Logistics to getting into PP:
1) If you have already applied and printed the evisa (you can apply through https://www.evisa.gov.kh/, it costs 37 USD) You directly fill the arrival & departure card and go for the immigration clearance. You'll save 30 minutes of your time.

4) Buy a local SIM card, just after the arrival exit you can find 4 - 5 shops (opp to costa coffee). For 5 USD they have unlimited data plan. (There are half a dozen telecom company, after inquiring a localite, I chose Metfone Sim. Smart axa signal also found consistent).
5) Airport to Downtown: If your hotel doesn't have pickup service, you can take airport taxi just opposite to the arrival (it ll cost 12 USD fixed price). For tuk tuk you need to go little further or outside airport (costs 6-9 USD). Yet another Cheaper option is to take local bus BRT service (its only 1500 riels to city. The bus stop is located outside the airport and is at walkable distance. There are three routes, wiki it before this, you can save time and money.
Where to stay:
1) Most of the hotels are guest friendly. I did confirmed at the reception and they said no issues if girl brings ID along with her. After the girl leaves, they call you to double check that everything is fine. Depending on your budget and the activity list you may chose one in street 51 Bar street / Street 172 / Riverside / Guest house street.
Where to find girls:
1) Its easy and there are many outlets to pickup girls from the bar. (read prev report on the happening spots Cycree, Candybar,69 and many or simply stroll nearby bar area).

Been in PP for a few days with work so options to bring back to hotel not easy. Decided to try Cycree to see what that is like. Found it very easily and walked into the bar. Keep $1, $5, $20.00 as these notes you will use mostly. Hotels you may pay by $100.00 notes. If you change your money to riels, you'll need a suitcase to carry the riels with you! Most things are cheap and hence you only need to carry small amount of currency with you. Generally, only in the country side riels are used more. But you do your simple conversion of $1 / 4000 riels are pay accordingly in dollar or from the bulging pockets where you have kept your riel change!

I've been reading my way backwards and am now in July, 2016 posts. I have also read the fantastic reviews from IllusionHeart from August, 2015. Thank you everyone for your contributions. My apologies but I will likely have a few newbie questions this week. Yes, a field report after my 2-3 day trip will follow.
Out of the places I have read to date, LE Cyrcee is likely the place I would lean towards. I like simple easy pick a girl and go type places. Thermae in Bangkok would be the best example of what I like. Most of the girls show up around 6 or 7, although they will be upstairs putting on make-up. The girls need to come in early, or else the bar penalizes them by not giving them their commission for their lady drinks.

My first option was Ho Chi Minh over PP but getting info on Vietnam is like pulling teeth and would be too frustrating for me to go to a place, see a super hot girl, only to find out she doesn't boom boom. I spent some time bar hopping and want to point out some things.
There are alot more lady boys. For the well trained eye, they don't hold up against ladyboys in thailand, so veterans should be able to spot them easily.
Many bars seem to have 1 or 2 lady boys mixed in with the girls. This is not my preference because the ones in PP are on the aggressive side and I'd rather not have one stroking my arm or face in the line up with real girls. I prefer how it is in thailand, where ladyboys have their own bar. Its not 100% true, but mostly.
Candy Bar is a ladyboy bar. A few real ladies mixed in, but avoid it if you don't like ladyboys.

Barfine is $10 at every single bar I went to. I hit up about 10 of them. I think its standard across the board. The price of the girl is negotiated with the girl. A few random thoughts and experiences in PP last month.
My thanks guys, to all the info I've gleaned from your posts in the last few years.
I had 10 days there tagged on the end of 8 weeks in Pattaya. In short, I liked it, next year I might share my time 50/50 between Pattaya and PP.
Cheap beers, good willing girls, prices ok, fun sightseeing, hotels reasonable, I like a swimming pool for daytime relaxing.
A few girl experiences.
I like mine a bit older 25-30 even up to about 40. At my vintage it's not enough that they've got tits, mouth ass and pussy, for me they need some experience in how to use them.

The city is finally modernizing. When I was here 3 years ago, KFC was probably the only Franchise. You now see a wide range of business. Many of which cater to foreigners.
Sorya Mall has a grocery store. Like a real grocery store, with brands and items from the western world. Prices are labeled and fixed now. No more haggling for every item you want to buy. This is a sign that things are getting better.
There has been significant improvement in Sorya mall. There is an actual food court. They are using a cash card system. Which is annoying, but I understand why many malls do this. The food selection was actually pretty good and facilities appeared clean and modern.
There is an internet shop near Cycree. I happened to stumble across it while walking from the mall to Cycree. Never thought I'd see the day. This isn't like a cafe that has free wi fi. It was dedicated to computer gaming. I peaked in and it was mostly locals, so I am assuming it caters to the higher class. I don't think many locals can afford to sit in front of a computer and play games all day.
Now if they can just do something about air quality, PP might not be half bad.

For me I landed around 4 and it took me just 10 minutes. It's not like Bangkok where you have to wait. You go to Voa counter, there are three windows, you give passport at first window and walk to thirds where you pay 30 usd and you have a visa.

I surprisingly like it a lot in PP. I extended here another 5 days. Similar to Pattaya on a MUCH smaller scale. I will write something more detailed when I get a better grasp of the scene. Everything except Naga / Darling Darling is within walking distance. Oddly I find many of the bars mentioned often on boards the ones I do not prefer. Rose bar on 104 was not good at all. I met a friendly girl inside though. Angry Bird, Honeypot, or Loco on 130 disappointing. I will try them again now that I am staying longer. I prefer the girls at Sweet Lemon on 136. Some of the lesser known bars I can't recall the names to. I just see what I like and go in like I did at Playboy (forgot which street) and Top Ten on 104. Cyrcee was great one night with 3 very hot ones and terrible the next night so I can see the mixed reviews. it's all about timing. Darling Darling was ok but for the 150 price tag vs. 50-100 LT for a 136 or Cyrcee girl I'll take the bar girl. DD girls were not any better than the top bar girls. I also got the dreaded head turn from some of them. that's not happening in a bar. Bars are fun. Walk in, greeted by DFK. I usually choose 2-4 girls I like and buy a round of drinks. Then cut them. I spent some time bar hopping and want to point out some things.
There are alot more lady boys. For the well trained eye, they don't hold up against ladyboys in thailand, so veterans should be able to spot them easily.
Many bars seem to have 1 or 2 lady boys mixed in with the girls. This is not my preference because the ones in PP are on the aggressive side and I'd rather not have one stroking my arm or face in the line up with real girls. I prefer how it is in thailand, where ladyboys have their own bar. Its not 100% true, but mostly.

I always have at least 6 with me when I travel. Last time entering Laos I passed over a pic that was probably 12 months old (I had very short hair then).
The immigration officer looked at it, then at me, then back again and said with a smile "You look much older now". He let me through.

The bars have a different 'flavour' in each street.
Streets 104 and 136.
Filled with tourist-focussed bars. Very loud music, girls often aggressively seeking ladydrinks, bill padding, a general in-your-face attitude.
In street 136 try Corner Bar 136, VVIP, Xanadu, Helicopter bar, 69 bar and Sweet Lemon bar. Candy bar or Butterfly bar if you want some ladyboys. In street 104 try Rose bar (40+ girls), Airforce and Rouge bar. Oscars has live bands each night.
Street 130.
More upmarket bars with some great girls and a more relaxed feel.
Honeypot bar, Angry Birds bar, and Loco bar are the best of the bunch. Happy Times and Simply the Best may be worth a quick look. Two new small bars, X-Dream, and Black & White seem friendly.
Street 118.
Fairly ordinary bars here. At The Office bar is the best. It has girls dancing on the inside balconies at weekends and a smart interior. Island bar for ladyboys.

Hit the bars on 118. More in and out bars. Hit Blue Bird on 130. Some decent looking ones. The one I wanted was too lazy to get off her ass to follow me into the club.
