no question it's a toss up. What I am thinking is this.
Congo obvious due color.
China due size.
Turkey due they "type" of fur and skin color.
So that leaves the Eastern Block and the Mongol Gal.
Well, after Korean's and Japanese, Mongolian gals are my fave and I have had plenty. The typically (at least those I have had) are a bit more "full on" in terms of presentation so I am thinking make up, nail polish etc makes Miss Mongolia No. 4.
The Russian & Ukrainian are a toss up although the few Russians I have had (around 5 - 6 only) aren't quite as careful with the make up, nail polish etc.

Had a little time after finishing business in the St. Regis so crossed Jianguomen Street and explored the are south of it, behind Scitech Hotel. As this comes close to Beijing Railway Station thought there must be some action. Turned out action has been as molst of the Hutong areas there are bound to be disassembled according to the papers on the doors, so the BBS where only empty ruins. It you are currently in Beijing you may have noticed an increase in visibility of law enforcement. This is due the the opening yesterday (Wednesday) of the annual Chinese People`s Political Consultative Conference. I stoped by the Pig on Tuesday night and it was dead. Lot's of guys, but only 4 girls. We also went to Hollywood (now located in Absent), and finally Maggie's. Hollywood had may 20 girls, and Maggie's we crowded.

As the promising reports made me curious and I had to proof the point that FS for 200 RMB is even for a sucker like me possible I visited the area once on my own and also teamed up with the King of BBS (this time without his bike) and we explored half of Beijing' s most important sights in one long evening.
In general you must know where the action is and you better speak some Mandarin and know the rules or you easily may end up in an overpaying disaster or a frustrating cannot find anything. You know your way around and have the invaluable help of the king you may get rewarded. This evening like Sammy has reported there is some congress in town so the central action is very limited. So I do not report on these, anyway it is all Andreas who deserves the credits, he knows everything, so ask him, buy him a nice dinner or just have the fun of windowshopping BBS style!
Currrently the most promising area in terms of shop density and girls available is clearly the reported Quingniangou Lu. Purely Chinese living quarter with some business hotels and our business plain in the open. However there is a lot of uniforms and I advise not to hang around too obvious for a too long time and/or create trouble. Not an area for newbies in my opinion.
We looked at maybe 10 shops and negotiated prices or just made a close up inspection of available SPs. You must look a bit and be able to negotiate and be a little patient. Some shops close while they have customers, some always look their doors. Just walk the street up and down until you see something you like, negotiate the price, enjoy and leave through the backdoor.
I ended up with a nice, professional lady recommended by the king after my initial choice decided during but before full business that laowei are not her thing and we parted in friendship, no pay asked. Damn what a cute spinner, but if they are afraid for whatever reason, pushing makes no sense.
I had been there a few days before but the sweet Shenzhen girl was also not available that night. So you need to compromise.
In general this is currently by far the best BBS area in Beijing I have found or been shown in this case but I would still advise to be careful or at least get the initiation by a senior member if you are a newbie. BBS are not for everyone, it is fast food, it is dangerous to some degree and a good place like the described can very fast be destroyed by in Chinese eyes inappropriate behaviour.
Price is 200 RMB for FS and (B or C) BJ but you need to firmly negotiate. Not all shops offer FS by the way so ask before you throw away your clothes in the heat of excitement.

It's National People's Congress time again in Beijing. That bright, shining light of democracy, which runs every year from 5 to 15 March, puts a damper on our hobby.
I imagine places like Maggies would still be fine (I don't go there much these days), but saunas and BBS are being careful.
I went to the sauna in Zuojiazhuang Xijie (Huanxisha:?) on Friday night. I'd only got as far as the locker area when one of the guys came up to me and said, "sorry, no action right now; the most you can have is a foot massage. " I asked why, and he said, not entirely to my surprise, that it was because of the NPC meetings. "Come back after 15 March, " was his advice.
I thought maybe Huanxisha, being well lit up and on a crossroads, might be more cautious than other, less visible places, so I cabbed it to the Regency, tucked away as it is on the side street off Maizidian. But when I went down to the counter, the friendly papasan chappie said, "sorry, it's NPC time. " He did say, though, that the afternoon was OK, but from 7pm onwards they only provided genuine massages. "It's a sensitive time, " he said.
So there you are. Not a surprise, but annoying nonetheless. It's the price we pay for living in the capital.

EnjoyI'd like to thank Jude Bright for the address as I could not of enjoyed a session today at blue lake if not for his post. Unfortunately, his post was not linked to Blue Lake VIP so I decided to make this post to make it easier for others.
My taxi driver told me that while no one knows "Blue Lake" or Lan He, everyone of them knows Jing An Shi Chang (Jing An Market) So that may be helpful if you forget to write this address down.
I went on a Sunday night, it was very busy and all the VIP rooms were on reserve only for card holding members. Was told that VIP rooms do not need to be reserved in the Afternoons (before dinner) The bed in the small rooms were comfortable but the small size really took away from the experience.
Ticket price was 168 + the 1196 for the Full Packet. The lady was nice enough to give me a mini tour of the place as I mentioned it was my first time. Throughout the process I mentioned that I was recommended here by a "business partner" who was a member at their club. Usual shower stuff, there was a room for "Assisted shower" though I don't if it's a guy or girl doing the scrub down.
Was led upstairs after I freshened up and given the tour. There were a lot of old Chinese guys walking around, must be a popular place. Was shown three girls, did not send all of them back to see more selection. Picked #30 from Hu Bei, a little thick of body but that was something that I wanted after a slight bruising suffered at the hands of repeated bony pelvic slams. Given the usual Sauna experience and finished with in the one hour mark. Was told that "Bao Yei" LT, was 2500 RMB start.
Finally during the check out, the cute tour guide told me they would only charge me 1164 this time as they used member prices as they were under the impression that my friend comes a lot. I guess it really does pay off, not only in service received, but monetarily as well, to seem very experienced. (Probably saved me 200 rmb! that's FS BBS at qingnianguo!)
Was definitely a positive experience as I usually go to slightly lower priced Saunas in Beijing. I would still rate the luxury and quality of my experience at Heting in Shanghai at better than this. And at 600 RMB "happy hour" prices, a much better value as well. Alas, my job is here in beijing so I guess I'll just have to stop eating to save money for mongering!

After such glowing coverage, I had to check out the Qingniangou Lu BBS cluster. I agree, it's the best such cluster in Beijing. Having said that, not all the girls are ones I'd want to be naked with, and it's hard to get a clear impression from a walk-by. You really have to enter the shop to see what's available, so patience is a virtue, as others have said.
FS for Rmb 200, but no BJ. I think she originally asked for Rmb300, but didn't haggle when I presented my counter-offer.
It definitely helps to speak Chinese, but I think no Chinese would definitely be OK, provided you have an open personality and are willing to make your intentions clear through other means. What is clear is that these girls' first reaction to a foreigner is to be cautious and wary. Once you prove that you're non-threatening, they will loosen up.
Also, contrary to a previous report, exit B from Heping Li Beijie subway station, which is the northeast exit, is the most convenient, if you want to reach the eastern section of Qingniangou Lu, not exit A2. Just walk one block north from the subway station and turn right, though there are also a few shops on the western section, as Andreas Wang reported, in which case A2 would be slightly closer.

Bloody freezing last night and it took about 30 minutes to get a friggin taxi from the hotel as nobody wanted to drive it seems.
Made it to the Den for a few drinks with the elusive Beijing Fox. A table of Mongolian Sisters showed up, but they seemed to be focused on some food more than work. They went to Maggies about the same time I did anyhow.
The dance floor area was closed off due to it being Tuesday I suppose. So the remaining areas got pretty well filled up. Zhuren arrived with a small party of ladies just after midnight. Some others congregated around him quickly after that, and his zone became a primary bender. Elva, one of the M's employees, soon got started on her patented dances on the chairs, and that all became a girlie fest as a number of them all started dancing around together and groping anything that moved. Funny to see your observations on Xiu Bar. I was there for a little while on Wed night, and yes, the younger crowd was doing everything they could think of to look as trendy as possible. Pretty silly, really. But there were some smokin hot babes walking around in dresses that wouldn't have enough material to qualify as miniskirts. Saw a few Chinese WG's (the better of the pack), a few fat Mongolians, and a couple Trannies.
The really bad part was the "Jack Daniels" was simply brown water. Not a fuckin drop of alcohol in it. 65 quay for a watery coke just didn't cut it, so we hauled ass outta there fairly soon. Beijing mongering is SO easy thanks to Sammy_T. The essential information about where to go and advice on what to pay for which women is dead on. This forum should have a "sticky" flag that makes his Beginner's Guide to Beijing stay as the first posting. I have written similar overview pieces (see end of this post), but without as much experience as Sammy. It was great to have someone very familiar with Beijing write one that I can just read and use.
I have been to Beijing maybe 8 times before, and have always found girls on the 3rd Ring Road not far from the hotel, or sometimes in the hotel elevator. They usually ask 500RMB but have taken 300-400 RMB. The girls have generally not spoken much English, but have given reasonably good experiences. By looks they have ranged 4 to 7, by attitude and skills 5 to 7, and probably ranged in age from 20-30+. Service time has been rushed and 30 minutes (rare), or unrushed for about an hour (usual), but one lady I saw several times spent most of the day with me and stayed for dinner and beyond.
I decided on this trip to see what all the fuss was about at Maggie's. Being jetlagged from fresh arrival, I arrived around 3:30AM on a Saturday night. There were plenty of guys, and enough girls for those who wanted them, but maybe 2:1 guys to girls. If there were Mongolians there, I have not learned to distinguish them from Chinese girls yet.
I sat around and watched for awhile. Given the time, I expected that some unpartnered girl would find me soon enough, and she did. From Sichuan, she speaks English reasonably well. Light-hearted, laughs easily to make me comfortable. She's a bit older (late 30s or a little more?) and neither thin nor fat.
As an experiment, I told her it was my first time to Maggie's (true) though I had been to BJ several times. So when it came to price, she quoted 1000 RMB, which I knew was too high, but I wanted to see how high she would ask. I told her I was probably too tired for tonight (almost true) and she said she didn't think so, that she had simply asked for too much money (true, but I expected it). Considering her age, the closeness to closing time, her English skills, and Sammy's price ranges, I offered 600 RMB, which was quickly accepted. Given the hour, I might have gotten away with a lower offer, but then the service/attitude might have been worse, since rock-bottom prices can lead to rock-bottom attitude and service quality.
In the taxi I asked how old she was - again, experimenting. She asked how old did I think? I said 25, thinking that it was probably late 30s / early 40s, and she thanked me in a way that confirmed my private assessment. She said if you ask a Chinese woman her age, you will get one of two answers: no answer, or a lie.
There were a few things not really on the menu - kissing was, not a lot, and no DFK. Touching was, but no fingers inside her - very concerned about cleanliness and hygene, said nails can never be made 100% clean. She enjoyed some DATY, wasn't enthusiastic about BBBJ but did a little despite her health concerns (I am tested and clean). The main course included 3 positions that I chose. She was very friendly and reasonably cooperative, but I have had much better, especially in Bangkok. This was an average+ experience, more on attitude than performance.
She has a regular job, but has clearly been a working girl for some years. She certainly knows her way around Singapore (as do I)... but claimed to get higher prices than I normally pay there.
She did not rush things, and hung around a while after we were finished, per my request. When I gave her the negotiated amount, there was no whining for more, just a nice xieh-xieh ni.

In OT (Orchard Towers - directly opposite Hilton Hotel in Orchard Rd) the ONLY bar you will find them is Ipanema - in front doors - up escalator - bar on your right.
I have NEVER seen any Mongol in any other bar in OT - not even in Top 10 when it was in full swing maybe 6 to 7 years ago.
But the best haunt for Mongols in Sg is not OT but Brix in basement of Hyatt Hotel. Always Mongols in here - ALWAYS. Expect to pay higher prices in Brix though - they will ask SG$500 - should be able to get them all night for SG$300.

In general my experience is that in SEA (namely SGP, KL, Jakarta) the choice of Mongolian girls is way less enjoyable than what we have in BJ. This also applies for Brix.

after a long flight, a therapeutic massage can be just the thing. dragonfly @ yan sha offers a 1-hour body massage (also foot, or shiatsu, and body massage can be with or without oil) for 135 rmb. that's probably more than the places inside 3rd ring road, but it's a 5 minute walk, and about half the price of a massage inside hilton.

I checked out the Qingniangou Lu BBS area on Saturday and wanted to say thanks to Andreas Wang for the great information.
Cost was 200RMB for full service with very little haggling needed after the initial offer of 300RMB. From what I have seen of Beijing BBS so far this is the only area that seems to specialise in full service. Most other BBS you will really struggle to get full service in my opinion.
I dont speak any Chinese but just used the international language of love (right index finger poked through circle made with index finger and thumb of left hand) and had no issues.

just found out these days that chaoyangmen waidajie 朝阳门外大街 just south of guangdongdian beijie 关东店北街 has another half dozen bbs. just walk northwest from the jingguang centre 京广中心 from the third ring, or cross the street from the chaowai soho and head southeast and you will come across them. the setup is similar to qingnian goulu, shops at ground level of residential buildings. i did not sample yet, but fs was on offer, initial quotes were above 200 but went down when i left.

I have never met a mongolian (or russian/uzbek) who did not expect a reasonable price so I normally don't negociate when dealing with them. Has anyone been to Absenta/Hollywood? It seems like everyone has been in and out of Maggie's. Just curious if recommendations from there are better.
Alas, Hollywood is but a hole in the ground waiting to be replaced by a new shiny Russian hotel. Its like an old, if smelly, dark and dirty, friend passing away. As for Absentia, the old Absentia is Absent and is now being converted into a smelly, dark and dirty old friend.
I will be in Beijing from April 1-4. Thinking of staying either at the Grand Hyatt (close to Tiananmen square) or the Park Hyatt (Chaoyang). Mongering @ night and tourist by day is my agenda for the short visit.
Grand Hyatt is a good choice, rooms a bit small so MAKE SURE YOU DEMAND A KING SIZE BED. Once you ram 2 beds in those small room its difficult to conduct any form of sexual gymnastics. I don't know the Park Hyatt and Chaoyang is half the city, so I make no comment on that hotel.
When you talk to them, you may want to give them some fatherly advice that SH is a bit risky at the moment, and will be for the Expo duration. There is a reason to the demand/supply imbalance in SH. I don't know why, but Mongolians don't seem to do too well in SH anyway, and tend to come back to BJ real quick. During the great drought of 2008, whole contingents fled to SH, only to return after a few days. Currently, whoever is trying to cash in on the huge demand in SH is heading into a snake pit.
Totally agree - all my usual hangouts are closed or have been redeveloped. I also agree Mongolians don't fare well in shanghai, for that matter most non-Chinese don't fare well. The cost structure is too low because the place is teaming with Chinese service providers. I have to admit the Chinese girls in bars normally provide poor service, but the ones from the sauna's provide excellent service. Most of the Chinese girls in bars are temporary service providers so lack experience, but the ones in the sauna's must go through some type of intensive training. I can just image day 4 of training - "well girls, where are we up to, fellatio or the correct way to handle an erect penis" or “Lets see your homework” or better yet “Susan stop day dreaming and pay attention to the anal sex demonstration”. What I would give to be a fly on the wall in those class rooms.

As a man of the world and a connoisseur of fine hotels you will enjoy the Park Hyatt.
Reasons:
- Park better than Grand (as you well know)
- The Park has the Xiu Bar on premises, with plenty local talent (a bit hard to tell apart from civilians, but you'll figure it out)
- Very short taxi ride away from Maggie's
I found the Hyatt Internationals always very understanding to our hobby, all over the world. The Berlin Hyatt is especially accommodating. I sometimes have 10 ladies in my room while we wait for my clients to finish their business matters. So the Berlin Hyatt always upgrades me to a suite that is on an elevator right (actually, left) next to the main entrance. Which spares us the walk of shame through the lobby. I endorse this comment. I've met a couple of Mongolians in SH ans none of them stayed too long. I've wondered why? Maybe, because Beijing is a smaller market and people (punter and provider)are more familiar with each other. SH instead is a larger pond with an over supply of sex and a fuck and run mentality. 1 hour sauna are the plentiful and I get the impression that not many punters are interested in getting more than a quick release.

I have been to Absenta/Hollywood a few times since the old hollywood was torn down and relocated to Absenta. The same group that was managing Hollywood is still in charge - same bouncers at the door, same bartenders, ect. They require a 50 RMB cover charge - which was not required at Absenta but has always been required at Hollywood. They do have a show, similar to the old Absenta show.
As far as the girls go, it is the same as before - they all sit around in groups and wait for you to aproach them. Nothing really special. Being in China I have become use to the smaller frame of Asian girls, but if you are looking for a girl with a bigger chest then you can probably find her at Hollywood.

However, I cannot see the harm in PM ing phone numbers to members who have posted before. I would be happy to share numbers in KM if you come there unless a girl had asked me not to. Regarding meeting at the Pig or Maggies, some of us just are not into that. I usually stay on the west side of town where I have friends and connections and I never go to bed after midnite. Those places are too far for me.

I agree, providing phone numbers often ends in disaster in more ways that I can describe - both for the girl and the guy. Its always better to go out and do the meet and greet process. I do find it strange when I read about mongers who wants a low effort solution - which normally replies on phone numbers and web sites. While calling someone and having a girl appear at your hotel room is low effort, what if she looks like margaret thatcher. You can say no, but then all you have is mary palmer and her 5 daughters to amuse you.
After all how much effort is involved in picking up a girl from the pig - you normally get mobbed as you enter and are often lucky to get out without a massive semen stain down your pants - explain that to the hotel staff as you lead your new found friend into the lobby.

The Pig, St Mary's and AbsentElephant are all zero effort monger locations. You can cover all 3 in about 2 hours. (Good idea for a tourist tour I think).
And if you are shy, the pig and St Mary's are perfect, but even in AbsentElephant - which is filled with pissed off looking girls - all you need to do is point to a girl and wave her over. You don't even need to get get off your pigu.

You all be a bit easy on GaoShou. Trust me, he has "been there, done that". Last time he had been in Beijing we went on a tour around the city, browsing shops.
If this time he's not up to that, I'm sure he has his reasons. That and different folks, different strokes. I have been to Maggies myself again yesterday for the first time after 10 years and was a bit shell shocked by how loud the music plays. Elderly people like me beware: place full of womenfolk, youngsters and hoodlums (SammyT, BBB, Fernando) just like at WuDaoKou! Maybe I am paranoid, but I think there was also prostitution going on.
But maybe the place will grow on me. I'll give it another try on Friday and see how long I can handle it this time. On the up side I just realized how close by it is. 10 minutes bike ride max. So for future reference, if any of you is at Maggies - I'm probably close by and can come over on short notice.

As disclaimed before I am neither a bar nor an especially mongolian fan, mainly due to a lack of experience. But forced by the majority of the seniors in this town I completely unwillingly (irony) made the Pig/Den/ Maggies tour with some of our most respected contributors here and must revise my opinion at least partly.
Firstly there are do-able and affordable girls in the Pig, actually the selection is rather large, especially if you stay a while, as a lot of girls float in and out during the night. So it pays off to stay there with some friends and watch Billy showing his excellence in attracting and molesting good girls. IMHO the quality in general is still a bit on the old and heavy side but everyone has its own taste. Found a pair of totally GFE and C cup size Chinese ladies who made a nice double for the rest of the night. Taking them into Maggies before taking them home heavily increased their service quality, it seems Chinese gals are still not easily able to get into the bar without male attendance. So why not play the gentlemen. Strange looks by the security guys, but I mean they watch Andreas old bicycles, so what is the issue with two nice girls.
Secondly Ms is a must see attraction. A little loud but bursting from talent, OMG, never thought I would actually like to be in a bar, but just watching is priceless. As well as Marys agressive sales pitch and looking at the nice bar girls, so sad they are off limits, what a waste. So I had to go back the next night and met a nice Mongolian but given the overwork and lack of sleep of the night before decided to not risk another bad experience (my history with our Northern Sisters is average at best) and took her this afternoon. Not the most beautiful but what a service, of course tried to get things done fast, but as I refused she really did go the extra mile to make it worthwhile and seemed to genuinly enjoy it herself. I remain firm that the pricing is very high, even for Beijing, unless you have one of the superstars, but these girls really like what they are doing and so do it well. So I am happy to be converted and have a new field of activity, so hope to see some of you there one day

No chinese skill are required if you do the Pig-Absent-Chocolate-Maggies tour. Actually a splattering of mongolian, arabic and russian would be more helpful - but all these girls have english skills. You will only have an issue with language if you try a local establishment, which i do not reccommend until you find your feet. There are a lot of girls working since the party congress, so I sure you will enjoy yourself. Also, if you wish to make this a regular hobby, better join up so you can get PM's.

I finally got around a while ago to trying out the Regency sauna, subject of many posts here (though not so many lately). It has its charms; I liked it enough to go back several times. It also has its peculiarities, and it's taken me a while to work those out.

It's been 4.4 long years since Jack left Beijing, but I have now booked my flights, and will be back for a short visit and a reminisce in late May.
Having previously contributed both editorial and photos to ISG during the years 2003 - 2005, (and have RTFF in recent times), I was hoping that the present lucky inhabitants of Peking could return the favour, and offer some local knowledge of the current scene.
I understand that all the old favourites are still there (Maggies, Den, Pig etc), so don't need updating in that regard.
I will be staying either close to Sunshine 100 (where I previously lived), or a bit further up Jintai Rd, between the 2 Chaoyang Roads. I would welcome any general advice on (particularly) massage places (shops and outcall) around that area. However, as I will be free during the day, I am not confined to there.
On a more specific note, are the 150 yuan BJ shops along Chaoyang Road, immediately before and after the 5th Ring Road overpass, still in operation?
Look forward to your help - in the meantime I will continue to read the forum.
Having now done some further research, including a search under the word "andreas", my questions have pretty much been answered.

I was in Beijing a couple of months ago and had spare time to sample the Top Club near the Great Wall Sheraton, just about a block on its left. It is a sizeable standalone building, in some sort of European art deco style. I got there on a Wednesday evening. Upon entering, I was shown to the right hand side for the men’s bathroom entrance, and had to remove my shoes before getting in.
Upon enquiry, I found that they had a few VIP suites (two to three only, I don’t remember now) equipped with bathroom, shower and sauna. I told the waiter to reserve one for me, and after stripping down, locking up my valuables (and not-so-valuables), I didn’t bother with a shower there and went straight upstairs dressed in the pajamas provided by the establishment, barefooted. On the third floor, the mamasan greeted me and showed me into my suite. It was quite a big room, with a sitting room (sofas, TV and mahjong table, etc) upfront, a bathroom and a bedroom in the rear.
I sat on the sofa, and the mamasan explained that an all-inclusive package would cost 1,700 yuan (about US$250, yes, not cheap at all), and would allow me to use the room for some hours (not that the girl would stay with me for four hours). I thought it was okay, and asked her to send the girls in. The masseuses came in groups of three, and after four rounds I decided on a well-built Dalian girl.
She was quite tall and pretty, and looked very much like my previous Beijing freebie girlfriend (who was also from Dalian). When I raised this issue with the mamasan afterwards, she said she could arrange for a new bedspread right away. This might be true, but I thought it would be too much trouble. After all, there is a big difference between lying on a damp mattress and on a plastic bed where water flows freely.

It's interesting seeing reports from different mongers, often newcomers to beijing, as they sample the veteran Northern sisters, especially when it's one of the girls you know.

Passions is both a “disco” style club, as well as a KTV bar, and it is known for having the best looking Chinese girls in all of China. It is also known for being one of the most expensive bars in all of China. A room in the KTV will run you 3,000 RMB per hour, and the tip for the girls is minimum 600 RMB. If you want KTV, you don’t want Passions – there are much better options elsewhere, and it is my understanding that there are no ‘extras” available in the KTV. On the other hand, the bar in not a bad option for those with little time and/or experience and a lot of money.
When you enter you will see a bar area, then a dance floor and stage. On the left and right of the dance floor are some booths and tables. In the past the girls would be sitting around these tables waiting for customers, but it seems now they all sit in an area on the second floor above the tables. If you look up and to the left you will see the reflection of some people walking around up there. That area is full of hot, young Chinese girls. We arrived around 9 pm, which seemed like perfect timing as we were able to see all of the girls arrive and head upstairs while they wait for customers. We took a seat at the bar and watched the parade of beautiful girls enter. There was always music – either a DJ or a soloist singing, and around 10 pm a girl came out and began to pole dance on a little stage behind the bar. She did not take off her clothes, but she did look very sexy.
I spoke to one of the waiters to find out how things work. I was told that the girls were primarily sitting up stairs, although there were a few also sitting around downstairs. These girls were basically the KTV girls, but they were available to come down to the bar to “chat”. For a girl just to sit and talk/drink with you it will cost you 600 RMB. I did confirm that this charge is not per hour, just a flat rate for however long you stay, but you will also need to by her drinks. I just had a Carlsberg Chill beer, and it cost me 60 RMB. If you pick a girl to take home with you it will cost 3,000 RMB. The deal is actually struck with the girl, not the staff, so there may be a little room for negotiations, but not much. I assume 3,000 RMB is for short time, but I did not get a long time price. I was told that I could go upstairs and take a look at the girls, and pick the one I like best. I did not partake, but I do have a few suggestions if you decide to choose the Passions route:
Pay the “talking” money and get to know the girl
If you have already resolved to spend an ungodly amount of money for a girl, I would do my best to get to know her before dropping some serious cash.
Pick a girl with which you can communicate
If you do not speak Chinese, and she does not speak English, there will be very little chemistry. No matter how much you may think being with a young, beautiful girl is good enough, trust me when I say that personal chemistry can turn an ok experience into a stellar one.
Understand that often the best looking girls give the worst service
The best looking girls often get by simply on their looks alone, and have no need or desire to provide good service. They don’t have to worry about repeat business, as they will always get chosen because of their beauty, so they will not put much effort into the act.
Agree to short time, but find out the price for long time
This way if things go well and you decide to extend her stay you already know what it is going to cost you.
Don't pay up front
if the girl is nervous about getting paid, then show her the money, put it in an envelope, and put it on the table. Tell her you will gladly give her the money after she provides satisfactory service. If she will not agree, let her walk. I know it is hard to do, but it is much better than the regret you will feel after paying 3,000 RMB for 15 minutes worth of mediocre sex.
Before someone comments about spending so much money, and ruining the market, ect., please note that Passions has been around for over 10 years, and prices have always been at this level. Their primary clientele is rich businessmen, and they will never lower their prices.

5 or so years ago I used to come to Beijing at least once every 3 weeks or so and usually stayed for a week. And Passions had always been the "highlight" of my stays then - and it was those prices which made such visits something to look forward to, as I realistically would want to (or rather, can afford to) only go max once per visit.
And in those days, I recall that the "sitting fee" was only RMB 500, ST was 2K. Forgot exactly how much LT was (didn't LT too many times) - but I think it was already 5K.
I also remember one day sitting with my buddy at the area between the Sheraton and Passions (just a wall type thing) and oogling the gals as they were coming to work. It's like buying an exotic car and not worry about the maintenance cost. If you need to think about the cost, don't go here. It could leave your wallet much thinner if not empty.
However if you do have dough to blow in BJ, this is the spot. I have only been here a few times, each time I'm in BJ, but it is a regular go-to along with one other high end KTV, and the few nicer nightlife venues. The best thing about this place is the talent. These girls are going to be smarter than your average working girl. I was here last time with a decent size group and 2 of 7 girls in our room spoke decent English, singing some classic songs too. They also sing really well if that's your thing, ha it is a KTV. The senior bar backs and manager level people all speak decent English.
About the pricing: yes, 2010 pricing is 600/girl. That includes the hostess who pours your drinks and pops your bottles and manager who brings you the girls. So if you go in a group of 4 guys and get a girl a piece. That's 3600RMB in tips. Rooms have a minimum of 3000. That's barely enough for 1 of their cheapest bottles and a fruit plate. 2 bottles will break that minimum.
Bottom line is, if you're going there with a few guys, plan on spending some dough. Is it worth it? I'll let you decide.

My first time mongering in Beijing. Thanks to the various posters on this board for their experiences. Arrived into Beijing on Thursday afternoon and eagerly anticipated a night of cruising the bars.
Went to the Pig @ 9:30pm and the place was half full with mostly Chinese girls. I am a Chinese American myself so I had some fun meeting the sisters. There are some very pretty girls there that were eager to go but I told them that it was early and I wanted to make my rounds.
Went to the Hard Rock @ 11:30pm and the place was DEAD. There were a few girls at the bar with some patrons but I would guess the place was 20% full. The band was pretty ordinary and I left there @ half past midnight for Xiu.
Xiu was about 90% full with a very good band. I recognized them from my times at Spassos in Bangkok and spoke to the black lady singer. I started meeting-up with the same girls as I saw in the Pig (You guys are right) but was eying this petite young thing (May I believe). But one of the girls from the Pig (Lily) from Shenyang kept asking to go back. Lily is one of those Russo-Chinese girls (light skinned, large breasts, thin, exotic look) that I love and we went back. She is very sweet but the 9 large beers I consumed over the course of the night killed my drive. Had a nice round in the morning and sent her away with 1,000 RMB. Probably wont repeat with her.

"Hard Rock Café (HRC).
Located right next to the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel. You standard Hard Rock Café you will find in many big cities around the world, except working girls start to show up around 11:00 pm. You have to pay a 100RMB cover charge to get in every night except Wednesday. The cover includes your first drink. They usually have a Pilipino band playing that is not too bad. To get a good view hang around the stair case behind the bar. I would venture to say that 99% of the single girls there are working, and they can all speak some English. The Hard Rock is a tourist trap, so there are some non-working girls, but it is easy to distinguish the pros from the straight girls. I was only following a bar guide that was posted on this forum a few months ago.

Thank you for your report from Hard Rock Café in Beijing. I am surprised but glad to hear that the girls are back again. Last time I was in Beijing, it was in September 2009, the place was new renovated and there were no girls even at midnight. I asked one of the waitresses who told me that the girls were not allowed to be there at all any longer. Before the renovation and the Olympic Games it was interesting to watch what happened about 11pm when all the girls were entering and the hunting began. Maybe this place is not the best on, but in one way I like it. It is not too big and the music is also quite good and the girls are very different, so there will nearly always be some who appear to what you like. As you mentioned there are Chinese, Mongolian and Russian girls. Last time I stay at Hotel Landmark Tower, the hotel in direct combination to Hard Rock Café. I will be coming to China (Beijing) for the first time expecting to arrive on Sunday April 10th and staying for a week. While I have had plenty of mongering experience in the FSU and Brazil, this will be my first time coming to China. Of course, I will start my trip with a visit to Maggie's and hopefully will branch out from there. Truthfully, I have no experience what so ever with Chinese girls of Mongolians for that matter (just Kazaks and Turkmen girls) so I am look forward to meeting a few Treasure's of the Orient. Last time I stay at Hotel Landmark Tower, the hotel in direct combination to Hard Rock Café. I good 4 star hotel and a girl friendly hotel – no problems even in the night.Billy also used to say at Landmark years ago - but eventually they posted guards at elevator entrance and REFUSED to let w.hores go to your room.
Indeed one w.hore from Hard Rock showed me how to enter through Landmark Towers rather than Hotel entrance - up to 2nd floor I think then walk across.

This is my first post and my first time sharing with you. I am European and I have mongered in most of Europe and in some parts of Asia. Due to the nature of my work I get opportunities to monger for free where certain great looking girls would be attracted to what I do and. (too identifiable).

I will be going to Beijing at the end of this month for Business. I am terrified that due to the World Expo in Shanghai "business" will be a bit down. What do you think about this? Thanks. This helps explain the difference between my experience and many of the reports here. I guess I have left before the good looking crowd arrives. But when I am in Beijing, I am usually jet lagged and have work to do the next day. That, plus creeping middle age, and having a couple of drings onboard, seems incompatible with starting my evening activities after 1 am. Any explanation for what the available girls are doing earlier in the evening? I surely wonder if they work late because they prefer their customers to be half conscious. This is also a difference between them and the girls working outside the hotels, who mostly disappear late at night.
These days, the matter is very easy: Everybody who has a Maggie's name tag works for the bar. Absolutely unavailable. Unless you are in the marrying or permanent BF mood.
The single ladies arrive between 12 and 1. No name tag, fair game.

You might as well save the effort of posting. Everyone knows that you and your pseudonym's reports are fake. If you want your business to succeed, focus on delivering a good level of service, then word will get around. As it is, you are simply letting people know that "Angels" is to be avoided.
It's a pity, because I know from my own group of fellow Beijing visitors that there is a demand for a reliable, good quality, outcall service. This is particularly true during the week, when time is often short. In its absence, we visit M's, Chocolate etc since this reduces the risk of disappointment.
