Went to Maggie's on Sat night 12:15. The place was quite busy; I have only been there once before when most of it was closed for renovations (real ones), but it seemed to me there were fewer cosy seats than before. Ratio F/M around 1.2:1 but no stunners still available IMHO. Other thing which seems to have changed: when we last went we were attacked (in a nice way) immediately. This time it was me that started the conversations, perhaps because of crackdown or supply vs demand.
Around 1:15 which seemed late for me left for her place with my first Mongol, a petite said-she-was-Mongolian-said-she-was-called-Aggi (I know that's Mongol for "Jane"). Experience was OK, keen and friendly but not totally GF, a bit rushed as I think she wanted to get back for last pickings. Damage after discussion at M's 900 for ST.

how about a weekly BBS report? Good for your health (more bike exercise) and I could have saved me that useless trip to QNGL, where indeed all shops had the curtains drawn but as most were chained from the outside, maybe that was a hint they were closed. No, they are not usually closed on Saturdays. Something again seems to be afoot in Beijing. Fernando Alonso sent me a shocked SMS on Friday that Qingniangoulu was totally closed too. So after your post I went out yesterday and did a round to check.

Suddenly many BBS again are low profile. Qingniangoulu I also only saw two hidden places "open", i.e. curtains almost closed and hard to spot. Qingniangoulu has always been very sensitive. Always the first to close down at any sign of troubles. I called someone working there and she told me she also has no idea when they will open up again.
Hujialou was a bit better yesterday but similar. Many shops closed and a few only very discreetely open. Same goes for behind the Asia Hotel. At the Golden Dragon Hotel area I one evening saw girls were sitting outside on chairs in front of their closed shops.
On the other hand Chaoyangmenbei Xiaojie area seems to be on the up, don't ask me why.
Eastern Ride
I last week also revisited Liulitun and all shops there were staffed. Had FS (no BJ) for 100 RMB on offer, though that particular alley is extremely local. I last week also did a long ride out to Chaoyangbeilu beyond the 5th ring again. The massage parlors there are still around, but are a very mixed bag of only HJ or FS for not under 300. Some of these gals are just even now to stupid to do the most basic of customer service (as in when you say you will come you come and not keep long-term loyal repeat customer wait for hours)
but this is China, so my defence was more a general advice

If they want you, they will get you, it is that simple.

I am student here, so in risk of losing my place with the university, I just turn on my VPN for anything even mildly sensitive with the great firewall of china.
Most university uses their own VPN to have overseas access. I am actually surprised that your VPN doesnt clash with the Uni's VPN.

I do not use the university's VPN, call me paranoid but if it only costs around 1rmb a day for a personal VPN, why not?

Haidian area around Suzhoujie and Haidian huangzhuang subway station are doing fine.

When a crackdown comes they want to know where to go a do a raid. They need to release the ban on some of these sites otherwise every police office in China would need a VPN to do their research. It's much easier to just release the site from the banned list until the research is finished. They already know about Maggies, it is not news to them. Second option. Local LE's need an influx of black money and need to know where to go and negotiate this. As for coming and getting you for accessing a site, I think not! It is not illegal here to view this site. However it is illegal to distribute pornography eg. The Kappa girl who distributed her video all over the web. She was arrested. Just be careful when you decide to go to the BBS places, they seem to be the ones in the most danger. Seems places like Maggies pay enough money to know when to cool it or let things operate as normal. Eg. The pig not letting girls in at all.

Greetings. Just wanted to share some info before it is all forgotten. First in terms of hotels, The Regent in Wangfujing area is completely worth the $200 they are asking if it is in your budget. Great location, walking distance from ATMs, KFC, killer Chinese restaurants and Wangfujing area.
Always be aware of they guys pimping out the girls, tried a couple and they were all let downs. One girl I can highly recommend is a spinner named Lili or lee lee, short, thick with a great attitude. Not a stunner but her service is great and that is what I look for. Maybe not for everyone, she is hairy, but for those that dig that, this girl is for you. I have her mobile if anyone is interested, not sure of the policy of posting numbers so I won't until I figure that out.
If anyone is interested in checking out some cool belly dancing while eating some rocking Xinjiang food, I can also highly recommend a restaurant across the street from the Gongti Bei Mer (the Gonti North Gate). I will look for their card and post if I find it.

Oh man you have never been to Beijing have you. There are no adresses here, not for BBS and if you cannot find them on Andreas perfect description you cannot be helped further. Andreas recommends girls but theychangetoo often. You must go and choose what you like. Just a warning with no China experience stay away from these places you will not get what you want. No offence, just my experience based opinion.

As school has finally come to an end for the year I find myself with a lot of free time, so since there never were any clear reports or addresses of BBS in the Haidian area I decided to go on an adventure. Equipped with my wallet of some amount of RMB and my trustworthy fully charged electric bike I went to the only place that was mentioned recently by a fellow member.
It took me awhile cruising around Suzhou Jie before I recognized the reddish blue dim of a BBS. On Haidian Nan Lu, between the Suzhou Jie station and Huang Zhuang station I counted 6 BBS with 3 being shops you have to walk into. At the beginning of the street near Suzhou Jie station is a decently looking MP. Stressed from finals, I decided to see if I hit the spot with this particular MP. Went in, and saw two pretty young girls at the reception. I asked for their recommendation and they were pretty straightforward about it. It was until later that I found out why they tried so hard to look unsuspicious.
Based on instinct, I went on a limb and ordered the cheapest 70 minute massage for 178 rmb. After being lead to a room with two chairs, a shower and a rather old mattress I was told to wait a few minutes, which I gladly did watching tv. My wait was met by an ok looking lady (can't say girl because she is for sure older than me, around mid 20s). She told me to change and everything started as planned. After a few casual conversations she asked if I wanted any extra services, that was what I was looking for. I innocently asked about HJ, BJ and FS and she shyly told me that where I was getting a massage only HJs were offered. It was called the zero-service(direct translation 零服务) and one needed to have a girl in mind first before being able to get such a service. I wasn't surprised as there was a LE office not too far from there.
The lady then offered me such a service for an extra 258 rmb and told me that the next time I visit, I can just reserve her number and when in the room alone with her inform her about the 258 service.
In the end, I was able to get a free HJ out of her because she liked me enough. I will be going back there when I have the time and I think it is well worth a try to anyone living in Haidian. The one condition is one has to be friendly and not suspicious enough to be offered such service. Before I left, she told me the reason why she asked if I wanted extra service: I may look like Chinese but I am a foreigner nonetheless; there is no way I could be working for the police. Anyway, I will report again when I manage to find another place.

By advised that it is no BBS. It's a rather luxurious sauna with luxurious prices. But you get what you pay for. Security can be tight, and sometimes the rent-a-cop at the door says they are closed when in fact they aren't.
Directions: Go north on 3rd ring road. Pass Great Wall Sheraton. Don't cross the bridge. Before the bridge, make a right onto Maizidian W Street. Pass Durty Nellie's and the flower market. Road makes left turn. At the next right turn, there it is, on the left.

BEIJING -- "If You Are the One" is a Chinese television phenomenon, one of many popular matchmaking shows on which young people seek mates amid ribald jokes from the host and occasional racy comments from guests.
Audiences loved all the titillation, until last month -- when Chinese government censors came down hard. After a contestant indicated she was angling for a wealthy man with a flashy car, government nannies ordered all matchmaking shows to cut the sexual innuendo, uphold traditional values and ban any talk of women "gold digging."
The censorship is the latest and most public example of the government's new crackdown on vice and perceived immorality. It comes even as China becomes more freewheeling and open, with people increasingly pushing the boundaries in matters involving taste, sex and money -- and the intersection of the three.
In April, public security police in Beijing launched a "hard strike" campaign against prostitution, shutting down 33 entertainment venues -- karaoke bars, massage parlors and nightclubs -- said to be fronts for sex workers. The goal of the ongoing campaign is to "eradicate all social evils" and "advocate a healthy, civilized and high-minded lifestyle," a police spokesman said.
An Internet white paper published last month called online pornography "a prominent issue of public concern" because it was "seriously damaging the physical and psychological health of young people."
And a spate of recent articles in officially sanctioned newspapers and magazines have been advocating a return to traditional moral values and a shift away from the country's expanding get-rich-quick ethos -- including the commercialization of sex.
In an article in the Communist Party Central Committee's official magazine, Li Changchun, a senior member of the ruling Politburo, said the leadership must "resolutely clear out the bawdy pornography." And a commentary in the Beijing Youth Daily said young women who chase after rich men "show they have already knelt down before money."
Two Chinas, two views
The new morality crusade will clearly find some resonance, particularly among older people and the more conservative sections of society -- especially in rural areas -- that remember a more traditional China, where marriages were more often arranged and open talk about sex was largely taboo.
But in today's modern, urban China -- a China of ubiquitous hostess bars, karaoke clubs, pole dancing, suggestive ads, sex shops and intimate radio call-in shows -- the talk of "social evil" risks making the Chinese leadership look old, stodgy and simply out of touch, some say. It's as if the rulers don't realize that for a new generation of Chinese, "party" is a verb.
"Over the past 30 years, with the opening up and the reforms, Chinese society's attitudes toward sex have changed a lot," said Li Datong, a commentator. "Society is more tolerant talking about sex than the government."
Li said that the campaign against vice would fizzle out because of public pressure and that Chinese urbanites will soon enjoy their freewheeling ways unimpeded. Various analysts said the crackdown may also be the government's way of diverting popular attention from other pressing problems -- including corruption in its ranks.
"The more the people think the government is morally bankrupt, what they do is have one of these campaigns to crack down on the public's morality," said Hung Huang, a magazine publisher. "For ages, the government has condoned a materialistic value system, and now they are reaping the fruits of it. To put the blame on the public is just lame."
Public cynicism about the morality campaign has been fed by repeated reports of top Communist Party officials caught in embarrassing situations -- stories widely circulated on the Internet.

TV show controversy
The campaign against TV matchmaking shows began in May and was aimed largely at "If You Are the One," on Jiangsu Television, where a bachelor confronts 24 single women who pepper him with questions. The young women have lights placed in front of them, and they switch the lights on or off to indicate whether the contestant should remain on the show.
In the most controversial segment, a 24-year-old fashion model told a poor and unemployed bachelor who offered her a bicycle ride that she would "rather cry in a BMW than ride a bicycle while laughing."
The comment incurred the wrath of the censors, who said it indicated a materialistic, "gold-digging" attitude that was the equivalent of prostitution. Government authorities also told TV stations to bar the woman from future shows.
Her comment ignited a fierce debate in China, with the model's defenders saying she was merely stating openly what many others feel privately.
"I really don't think it was necessary for the government to get involved and try to tone down the show," said Li Xiao, 27, who was a contestant on another segment of the show and met his girlfriend there. "Even if the show is censored, these kind of thoughts exist in real life." He added, "She just asked for a BMW; she didn't ask for a Benz or a Ferrari."
"I think this kind of opinion is very common. And not wrong," said Yang Yijia, 25, who has twice been a contestant but is still waiting to meet her match. "But it should not be said on television. China is still a traditional country."
Another contestant, Alex Tian Li, who was born in China and moved to California as a child, said the show "is not that overboard," particularly compared with what's on American television. The problem, he said, may be simply that Chinese authorities aren't used to the genre.
"Reality TV is still very new in China," he said. "It's a very strong dose of reality for a lot of people."

I guess the other thing with Maggies is that you really do have to be there after 12:30 am which is just too late. It is not a serious mongers destination and is more of a tick it off the list type destination. I do believe this would have been a great place years ago but i would recommend you dont fall into the "oh you should of seen it before, you really missed out and I am one of the honoured ones who saw it" type of hype.......i first went to Maggies 5 years ago and it was better than it is now but honestly not that much better than it is now.....it was still only 5% attractive girls then compared to the 2% now.

- Never loose time looking at pictures, they are NEVER, NEVER, the real pictures. Explain them clearly the type of girl you want

I need to find a decent hotel in Beijing, so that I am not too far off from the main locations and most of the in-call services are within close range. I was in Fengtai last time around, and most girls found it either inaccesible or charged massive amounts for the taxi as it was pretty far off. Would appreciate some suggestions. I am looking for hotels with in-house entartainment facilities as well, such as spa/saunas, gaming room, etc.
I don't usually go to Maggie's but decided to take advantage of the cool nights this week and walked there after midnight on Tuesday. I was a little surprised by the changes to the layout (larger bar, but less places to sit and a joke of a dance floor) and the "patio" was empty. I stopped posting to the board a while ago and have been debating whether or not I should make this post and obviously I decided to get it off my chest. A few months ago I saw a new face at M’s – new to me that is. She is a Mongolian sister with a distinctly British accent (let’s call her Girl A).
Actually, <b>who</b> is not the important part of the story... so let me continue without those details. After having a bad experience with this girl I was getting ready to post the facts and warn the brothers about this Girl A. I shared with one of our senior members through a text message that I had a bad experience with a new girl. I told I would post the details and he asked who it was. When I told him her name he knew her immediately – she has a long good history in Beijing but has been out of the game for a while. He couldn’t believe what she had done and asked me to wait before I posted anything. Then that night I got a call from another very senior member asking me to please not post anything about her on the board. Out of respect for our senior members I agreed not to post the story.
Now <b>this</b> is the important part of the story… Later that night I went to M’s with a friend and while I was washing my hands Girl A came out of the bathroom with a really piercing look on her face. She said, “I heard you put something on the internet about me! Why did you do that?” I hadn’t put anything on the board at that time which means one of our senior members outed me and told her I had. Why is this dangerous? Because what you say or do to one of the Mongolian sisters will eventually be known by all. In my case they all know that I am a nice guy who got ripped off but they also know I post my stories on the board.
My point is that we should never tell the girls about this board or who’s on it. They can and some have found it for themselves but we should look out for one another and feel safe that our identities will remain protected. I still respect those involved but remind everyone that especially in these times we need to be careful and keep each others trust.

taking advantage of some free time this week i pay a visit to my favorite spot in beijing. wednesday night arrived at m's around 11:30 p.m. already a good crowd in place, a few good looking sisters, by 12:30 p.m. the place was getting even better and a very decent one guy per two sisters ratio. one very lucky guy though was dancing with a exquisite chinese girl ( or just seems she is local talent). not wanting to do any take away i speed off to den about 3 am. to my disappointment the place was empty, probably still too early for that venue, there were about 5 or 6 girls, all with a big built, not my cup of tea, so i had something to eat and a beer and left the place around 4 am, with still no signs of improvement on the attendance...will continue with second night.

Had been to Beijing on Wednesday and Thursday of the last week. My Chinese collegues had told me, that there had been several raids in KTVs organized by the new police heads and just in CTS KTV more than 600 girls had lost their jobs. On Friday their had been an article in the local part of China Daily that those enforcements will continue and will be extented to bars and clubs.
Neither in Maggies nor in Chocolade you could feel a difference from my last visit a couple of months ago. I found that in the past their had been more and better looking girls in Maggies and another change had been, that much more girls are now employed by the club, easily to be identified by the badges they are wearing. My understanding is, that they will only drink and dance with the guests. I had some drinks and left alone, because noone attracted me. I missed my old Mongolian friends from around the pool table.
Changed on both days to Chocolade. Much more people and as always a nice and vibrating atmosphere. A difference I recognize had been that much more girls seems to work there and the regular guests seems to be in the minority now at least on those two days. The professionals had been all around and specially on both bars and the tables around the bar area.
I talk to several girls and they all seems to be on the 1 shot/1000RMB policy without any discounts. Maybe my negotiations skills had been not good enough. On the first evening I took a false blond fom Moscow (Julia) which is positioned in the middle of the big bar on the left side of the club. Avarage in every aspect. The second evening I had more luck and took Natasha from Wladidvostok. (Maybe I mixed the names). A tall and real blond, on both evenings positioned at the beginning of this bar. I am new to Mongering and I am currently in Beijing, in a 4 star Hotel. They have an In-House Spa, which is fairly expensive, but I havent been there yet. However, while walking along the corridor yesterday, I read a sign stating "No Prostitution Allowed". I was just wondering, if this is fairly common or if this would be strictly implemented. I have been planning on In-Call, but this sign has made me think twice?
On another note, do you think prices in Spa's within these 4 star hotels are negotiable and if its a good idea to ask them for FS.

Exterior was quite shabby but was pleasantly surprised by the interior all around. Go inside, swap shoes for sandals, and asked for a menu. Menu was in Chinese, Japanese, and English. Selected the 90 minute body oil massage and waited for the front desk people to call up a girl. They then get on the 2-way with wherever these girls come from... Girl A busy, Girl B busy, Girl C nowhere to be found... Girl D is available... ok... girl D will be right up.
Off to a room we go. I ask to take a quick shower because I'm pretty sweaty and disgusting from the heat and humidity in Beijing. According to the business card, 24 hour home delivery is available at the same price as incall with an additional taxi fee tacked on, so maybe there's an opportunity to negotiate pricing of other services if so inclined once she's at your place.

Then that night I got a call from another very senior member asking me to please not post anything about her on the board. Out of respect for our senior members I agreed not to post the story.
Now <b>this</b> is the important part of the story… Later that night I went to M’s with a friend and while I was washing my hands Girl A came out of the bathroom with a really piercing look on her face. She said, “I heard you put something on the internet about me! Why did you do that?” I hadn’t put anything on the board at that time which means one of our senior members outed me and told her I had. Why is this dangerous? Because what you say or do to one of the Mongolian sisters will eventually be known by all. In my case they all know that I am a nice guy who got ripped off but they also know I post my stories on the board.
My point is that we should never tell the girls about this board or who’s on it. They can and some have found it for themselves but we should look out for one another and feel safe that our identities will remain protected. I am new to Mongering and I am currently in Beijing, in a 4 star Hotel. They have an In-House Spa, which is fairly expensive, but I havent been there yet. However, while walking along the corridor yesterday, I read a sign stating "No Prostitution Allowed". I was just wondering, if this is fairly common or if this would be strictly implemented. I have been planning on In-Call, but this sign has made me think twice?
On another note, do you think prices in Spa's within these 4 star hotels are negotiable and if its a good idea to ask them for FS.
P:S - The spa is not run by the hotel.
Those signs are everywhere. They typically say "no drugs, no gambling, and no prostitution". They are usually in Chinese, and you will see a cartoon character of a police man waving his finger at you next to it.
You can try to negotiate "special" services, but hotel spas will probably not come down too much - they have a captive market. Most spas and bars in the hotels are not run directly by the hotel, giving the hotel an extra layer of protection if the spa gets in trouble for funny business.

JessieJames and I recently visited the Hard Rock. They have a really good band now, and no longer charger a cover. We were there on a Saturday night after 11 pm. The place was crowded, but by no means as busy as it was in pre-olympic days. Many western tourists, husband and wife couples. There were a handfull of Chinese girls working the bar. I did not see any Russian girls, and only one Mongolian girl. Several of the Chinese girls were girls who worked the Lido in the past. If you are looking for a girl who can be a tour guide during the day, and a playmate at night, then the Hard Rock might not be a bad place to look.
Now that there is no longer a cover charge the Hard Rock is not a bad place to chill while waiting for things to get started at Maggie's. The drinks are still expensive, but the band is great if you like classic rock music.

Finally went to M's, and spent the extra money (usually spent at BBS with mixed results) to get myself a Mongolian.

1. You will rarely find any girls approaching clients in those type of places, lots of reasons but the main one is safety. Girls approaching a guy sticks out like dogs balls, thus the bar staff will ask the girl to leave or the police will take the girl away. You need to approach the girls - the working girls normally hang out at the bars - or the seats closest to the bar.
2. The girls going back to a low budget hotel are probably tourists - there are a lot of students, tourists and general non-providers which go to Chocolate.
3. The quality varies, try friday and saturday evening, you will find a number of students - but most will not be providers.

Check out my Chocolate report on April 6th. You need a little eye contact or something for them to budge. You approach them, then they have a little upper hand. But if you give them a little eye response, they will stagger over and it's your advantage. Russian girls can deffinately be a little cold at first. To know why, see my post from a couple of weeks ago. They had a friendly visit from the boys in blue. Nothing untoward was discovered, but this sort of thing understandably makes the management rather nervous.
I'm not sure how other saunas are doing right now. I haven't been to one since all this started in April, since it was clear most of them were playing it safe. They must be hurting financially, though. I can't think they make that much money from the punters who just go in for a shower, a float in the spa pool and a rub down. I doubt if the owners (or managers) did this of their own accord. Presumably the Lido put the heavy on them. It must be killing them financially. On a good night with lots of Chinese and Mongolian girls about, and therefore lots of punters, the P&T can be pretty busy, and the drinks aren't particularly cheap, either. Now, with no girls, there's usually only one or two sad-looking customers propping up the bar and some seriously under-employed bar tenders standing around wondering how much longer they're going to keep their jobs. I doubt if the bar can survive forever with no girls. I'm sure the management will get the girls back in just as soon as they can get away with it. (Though when that will be is anyone's guess.)

My mistake was that, in order to save time, I copied the format from an old posting and changed the key responses. Now, I would like to step back from my previous comment about Lily. I would say it was so so, not perfect (looks, rushed service), hence, I used it only once. It all depends on benchmark and alternatives available. Certainly, I don't recommend it to anyone as every person has different priorities. In fact, I had very good experience with an independent, all night, full gf, RMB500. But, I shall refrain from sharing more about it.

Fair enough, well taken! We are a bit allergic here as recently it went a bit out of hand with the outcall advertising. As the situation in Beijing is difficult now, especially for the more inexperienced ones I personally think we should not make it even more easy for bad intended fakers. You sound genuine but as you said yourself we spotted the copy and past correctly.
Looking forward to more intel, 500 RMB all night I only got once ever do that is an achievement!

Last Sunday night in Beijing was my last this visit – I had to be up quite early next morning to fly to Nanjing so a quiet night was planned.

BBB has exagerated and embelished the story a bit but here are my observations:
1) Not one of the Russians I asked at both clubs were willing for BBBJ in spite of the 50/50 suggested by the one in Absenthe. I have noted this is all the venues with they operate in Asia, e.g. Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, etc. I reckon less than 10% overall will do it.
2) Many of the Russians only do the locals. I am told they are less demanding customers. I reckon the Chocolate is more foreigner friendly.
3) I find many taxi drivers in Beijing do not have a clue where they are going even when you have the exact address in Chinese or even call somebody to explain it to them. Teddy G has an I-phone app that seems to help a lot.
4) I did not like the set-up at Absenthe compared with the old Hollywood. The old place was easier to navigate with the girls around the bar or most standing up and/or moving around compared to all the girls sitting at separate tables.
Confession: OK, so I took the ugly one with the glasses from Maggies. The service was sensational. The COF/CIM was just like in a porn movie. Although she had agreed to the 500RMB, I ended up giving her 800 RMB for her effort. I can be too soft sometimes and give them the whole penny. A typical example of "the ugly ones work harder to please".
On my last night, I was in Maggies with Teddy G. His steady brought a friend that had just arrived from Singapore. Hey,

It was my pleasure to join Sammy's party and met our good old friends Billy and OAH again! It was year 2007, over 2 years ago, when I first met OAH and Billy at Sammy's party. I can tell you this. I have alot of experience with Russian girls.
1. They all do BBBJ. But prefer not to due to safety. Some use that as an excuse. If you insist then you will get what you want.
2. Chocolate is a little more friendlier and they seem to be more at ease. I was there last April. You can check out report.

Most of the time, I only ask about BBBJ on first approach and do not take the issue further after that. I want to be sure so I almost never risk taking them and trying to insist afterwards. I have been burned too many times with Russians and sometimes with S. Americans.
On the other hand, your strategy seems to work for me with most Asian nationalities. Even if they make that excuse, persistence usually pays off in getting what I want.

I have been watching these posts for quite some time, but have always been nervous about posting reports here because I never know what LE might be able to use. On a recent trip to Beijing however, I gathered a bit of intel that might be of interest to the Monger community, without getting any LE interest.
I used to live in Beijing and developed a bit of a stable (as you do). When I was back last week, I met up with one of my friendly Northern Sisters who said that she was doing very well indeed, of late. I was pleased for her, of course but wondered how she could be doing so well when all I hear is doom and gloom everywhere else.

I am a newcomer to China although I have already gathered a lot of experience in this hobby worldwide.
I would really appreciate your opinion on what happened to me recently.
I spent 2 weeks in Beijing, this was my first time. I will start to come regularly there for business trips later on.
I met a Chinese girl in a normal disco (MIX) on a weekday. She said she is a student, 19 y. Old, good looking albeit not a super-model type. Dressed poorly if compared to other girls in the same disco (ie. No designer clothes and shoes, just flip-flops, etc.).
She didn't want to come at my hotel on the first night. Agreed for meeting the day after for dinner, etc.. Everything went well and then she came to my hotel.
She was very affectionate and the experience differed quite a lot from the usual "working-girl" experience, at least compared to my experiences elsewhere. She was really wet and seemed to enjoy a lot.
Didn't ask me for anything, not even the usual "taxi" fees or whatever.
Didn't give her even 1 cent, just like a real freebie overseas or in Europe.
I left the day after (flying home) and kept contact with her promising we would see us again on my next trips, which I surely intend to do.
The point is: why didn't she charge me? Is it really possible that she is genuinely not a working girl?
There are many signs which show she might be a WG or anyway in one way or another in the business: what was she doing alone (she said she was with a girlfriend but I never saw her) in a club? She has many tattoes and piercings and she was very vague regarding her studies (I asked what she studies and then she mentioned she should still start universtity after summer and that she would like to study "maybe computer"). She had apparently plenty of free time (she said university is closed.); she knew too many English words for sex (eg. Blowjob, etc.).
She acted very naughtly in the bedroom showing experience in the field with good technique and lot of initiative.
The fact is: I would like to see her again in my next trips but I wouldn't like to regularly date a "working girl" who pretends to be a "normal girl"; I can easily meet working girls everywhere in Beijing.
Do you think she just didn't charge me because she hopes to become my girlfriend or wife (I'm young and single)?
Or is it really possible, even in China, to have a freebie like in Europe or in the US without any "financial" implications (in one way or another)?

Most of the time, I only ask about BBBJ on first approach and do not take the issue further after that. I want to be sure so I almost never risk taking them and trying to insist afterwards. I have been burned too many times with Russians and sometimes with S. Americans.
On the other hand, your strategy seems to work for me with most Asian nationalities. Even if they make that excuse, persistence usually pays off in getting what I want.

Well educated Chinese speak good english, does not mean automatically they are hookers. When you pick up a girl in a bar back home do you always assume she is a WG?

My two cents. Enjoy it as long as it lasts. Keep your normal guard as you would with any girl or relation. Do not try to find the truth or understand everything. This is China. Even she may not know the why. It does not matter here so much. What matters is you are honest and face saving towards her. She will reward it. But resist the temptation applying our principles to these situations. I had WGs getting mad at me being jeaoulous because I took another girl even doing it very discrete and face saving. I experienced girls loving me by heart still keeping up old relationsships for reasons we Westerners will never grasp. You have found something wonderfull enjoy it as long as it lasts! It does not matter what she is or was, be a little careful and use your common sense. Nothing really bad will happen!

I was given more background a couple of days ago about a police raid on a sauna well-known to posters here (PM for the name, as usual these days). Apparently, there were two raids the same night. We got in another cab and went in search of a condom, but at 2 AM they are not the easiest things to find (not even the local 7-11 that was open had them). By the time we accomplished our mission (finding the coat for my little friend), she had started to lose some of the appeal she had in the smoke and dim lights of M - but we went ahead and accomplished our mission.
Lesson learned - always have a box of condoms handy just in case (and they will probably fit better than the Chinese ones anyhow).

Been a helluva fun time hanging out in the capital and hitting St Margarets multiple times. Was staying close with a small group of the Northern sisters for the most part, just to try that out. I love Zhuren's scheme of buying a bottle of vodka and then just letting the girls come to drink from that. Way cheaper than individual drinks and it maintains a decent number of ladies with you the whole time. :p Last night was a fair crowd, and a nice mix of girls on the whole. If these spaces/sites features rates and/or a menu, a general location in the city, and phone number, then congratulations, you've found a QQ WG agency. The QQ profiles of WG agencies are set up to look like they are an individual's profile including some sort of story of how they're new to town blah blah blah, some nice looking pictures, music, and all that sort of stuff. Based on locations, the majority of QQ profiles in Tianjin were being run by 3 separate groups covering different geographic areas. QQ often will clean up the profiles so WG agency profiles often disappear with accounts being disabled. However, new ones will pop up in their place.

I doubt if the owners (or managers) did this of their own accord. Presumably the Lido put the heavy on them. It must be killing them financially. On a good night with lots of Chinese and Mongolian girls about, and therefore lots of punters, the P&T can be pretty busy, and the drinks aren't particularly cheap, either. Now, with no girls, there's usually only one or two sad-looking customers propping up the bar and some seriously under-employed bar tenders standing around wondering how much longer they're going to keep their jobs. I doubt if the bar can survive forever with no girls. I'm sure the management will get the girls back in just as soon as they can get away with it. (Though when that will be is anyone's guess.)

I was told by a WG that I picked up outside a bar in Shanghai a couple of years ago that if LE picks up a girl on the street and she has a condom in her purse, she is arrested. The last WG I picked up at M's also asked me if I had a condom, which had not happened to me before in Beijing. Maybe the new condom stories are related to the new crackdown.
Speaking of my latest condom adventure, I always thought that WG's would be wary of pictures and videos back in the room. But about a month ago, as I was leaving M's alone on a dead Monday night, a stunning WG (but condom-less) just got out of a taxi and asked me if I was looking for a date. Anyway, here's an update. I got a PM from someone asking for which Chinese dating sites I used despite me saying how crappy they were and for old times sake, I thought I'd try to find one. I forgot how much of a pain in the ass and time consuming process this was as I had lost all my original links during a hard drive crash. Pig & Thistle still deserted with no girls and max. a handful of males emptying their beer alone

The Beer Garden is located outside the back door (Starbucks) around the fountain. Many of the girls from the Pig can now be found at Hard Rock. They are not a bad choice if you are looking for a Chinese working girl / tour guide combo. Plus, now that Hard Rock does not charge an entrance fee it is not a bad place to kill time.
