I paid another visit to the Chun Xiu Sauna and had mixed experiences.

I went around 8PM so the place was not crowded. I also found out that it is a mixed place as I saw some European ladies ( Russians ??) on the stairs heading for the 2nd Floor bar area. They were in robes so appeared to be patrons.

The changing room staff tried the PJ game again starting off with ridiculous prices I just ignored. I understand a lttle mandarin but in a situation like this it is best to use the dumb Laowai act and just say no and at one point I even made like I was going to leave. Eventually we settled on a 30 RMB pair which is OK but a pain in the a-- getting there.

Upstairs I was presented with a grand line up of "2" (apparently no one else was available - more likely it was these girls' turn ) - they were 823 and 828. I had been with 823 and while she was good it was not spectacular as I had experienced in other places. This left 828 . I checked 828's reviews after I got back and wish I had done so before, An earlier report said that she was mechanical and a bit of a "cold fish" I agree - very mechanical no undo touching and definetely no kissing. I had to threaten to throw her out to get her to even loosen up a bit. This is very unusual for me as I usually have a good rapport with the girls -being in my 50's helps. Total damage for the "hour" was 919 which i s too much based on what I got in return.

I don't think speaking Manadrin would improve anything as I do fine elsewhere with my limited vocabulary and sign language. The stafff all know what we are there for so once you confirm they take it from there. The only thing I regret is not being able to complain properly about poor girl service or the little scams people try.

In summary I am becoming more and more dissatisfied with Chun Xiu both with the PJ game and the wide variety in girl cooperation. I will probably not return

BTW someone earlier mentionned a sauna on Guanggu Lu or Guanggumen in south east Beijing - do you have any more details ??

I also went to Chun Xiu Sauna and I won't go to that place again.

Here my reason for not going:

- they try to sell you a stupid pajamas
- could not choose the girl
- the girl was "cold fish", no kissing, no BBBJ
- massage itself was not as good as I had in Shanghai
- too expensive, more than 900RMB. In Shanghai I paid only 550RMB for a much better service (kissing, BBBJ, 2x coming, rimmjob) with a very beautiful and motivated girl.

Someone mentioned another Sauna for 500RMB near the XiBaHe bus station. I found the bus station and checked the area but couldn't find the Sauna.

This week I met up with a few friends mid-week and we decided to check out the Russian hang-outs. First we went to Absinthe. If you are walking from Maggie's you would head west (right), down the street. The first intersection with a stop light you will see the Moscow Restaurant. You should cross the street and keep heading west. At the next major intersection turn right (north). You will walk down the street and see a large building on your left. Absinthe/The Elephant Bar is located in the basement of this building. There is a lot of neon, and escalators take you down stairs, so it is hard to miss.

We arrived around 10 pm on a week night, and it was not that busy. First impression is that it is an upscale place. We sat down at a table and ordered some drinks. It is setup similar to a dinner theater, with a large stage area will they will do some performances - dancing and singing in both Chinese and Russian. Girls in show-girl style outfits, but nothing special to look at. There were maybe 4 girls sitting at the bar. I made eye contact with them and got a smile, indicating they were in the game, but none of them were worth crossing the room. A majority of the tables were empty, but a few tables had girls sitting at them. I approached a table of 3 girls and asked them if they would like to join me and my friends for a drink. They were not rude, but not friendly either, and simply told me they were waiting for someone.

We did order some of the bars name sake liquor. It was served in a very interesting way - they bring out 4 martini glasses and fill them with liquor. They then take several bar glasses and stack them one on top of another, on top of the martini glasses. Next they take a snifter of brandy, set it on fire, and pour it down the glasses. It flames up, and you drink from the martini glasses with a straw while it is flaming. Worth a trip to the bar just to order this drink!

Around 11 pm we headed over to Hollywood. It is also in walking distance from Maggie's. This time you turn north at the first intersection, where the Moscow Restaurant is located. Hollywood is located on the left side of the road, just before you get to the Ritan hotel. Paid the cover to get in, and learned that no, this does not include a free drink. 4 big Chinese bouncers at the door took our tickets. Once inside we made a loop around the bar. It was full of Russian girls, and a few Mongolian girls. As we looked around the room some girls said hello, and others made eye contact, but this was mostly the less attractive ones. The attractive ones just sat there talking amongst themselves. We settled at a spot at the bar and ordered some beers. There was a group of girls standing next to us so I tried to strike up a conversation with one that I thought was cute. Her only reply was "800 RMB, one shot we go back to your hotel." That was it. She smiled, and seemed friendly, but was not about to engage in any additional conversation. We saw what looked like a female Russian pimp - a woman too old and unattractive to be on the game, who looked like she was in charge of the girls. I approached her and asked if she was in charge. She just said I was mistaken and turned and walked away. I could understand all of this negative attitude if the place was crawling with guys and the business was so good that they could turn people away, but there were very few other guys in the joint. After my friends struck out in a similar manor we decided to walk down to Maggie's where we all felt at home, and had a great time.

While the Russian girls intrigue me, I do not think I will be heading back that way anytime soon.

While I too am always baffled by the distant and seemingly unfriendly attitude of the Russian women, I think that it is mainly a different mindset that causes them to appear so aloof. (Eastern European women, especially Russian are a different breed mentally) I have had take-out from Hollywood many times and without exception, once free of the Hollywood, each girl was a good companion and occassionally bordered a GF experience. I saw 6 BBSes on the east side of Chunxiu Lu between Dongzhimenwai and Gongti Lu. A cluster of three were just 200 meters south of the Chunxiu Lu sauna. There was also a larger BBS on the west side of Xindong Jie (which runs parallel to and is just east of Chunxiu Lu) just south of Dongzhimenwai. I was with my GF here, so wasn't able to go in to inquire about prices, etc. From the street, the selection looked good, about 3-4 girls in each, and some of them looked hot--very leggy and some were actually busty.

I reported on some of these some time ago. In sum, the place I visited offered only hand jobs and was not terribly friendly. However, it could be that the other places are better.

This place is an upscale sauna that looks about as big as the Chunxiu Lu sauna. It's called Taipingyang 太平洋 (Pacific), and it's right off of Gongti Lu just east of Chunxiu Lu. You have to drive or walk inside a big set of gates and then follow the signs into an alley off the right that leads you to the parking lot (with BMWs and Benzes) in front of the main entrance. I haven't bothered to do a search on this place, so there may be other reviews.

I was looking for FS, and this place intrigued me. I kept saying to the guy who arranged for the girl that I wanted full service--quan tao, quan shen, shenme dou baokuo (everything's included). i try and stay out of these type of discussions, because i have discovered one mans poison is another mans food, thus it all depends on the perspective of the viewer, but as i have a reasonable amount of experience with russians i though i would add my two bits.
what's good about russians
1.for those who like european features, or are even neutral, russians can be gorgeous. russians in russia, as long as you are not cheap, are gorgeous. some mongers like looks, i am one of those and i spend a lot of effort finding good looking birds – although i can testify that the more average looking girls will provide better service. sometimes having a gorgeous model type russian (or thai, or chinese) under you moaning away while you are pumping away like a crazy man has a certain aphrodisiac effect. russian in beijing can be very nice also, although the ratio is not as good as good quality clubs in russia, especially the lap top dancing clubs in moscow. but i have always been able to find some one who is near model-quality.

Hopefully this is the last post I make on this issue, in the past senior members on this forum have admonished other members for overpaying and "ruining" the market. I'm not sure how this is any different. If western prices are praised, aren't we encouraging everyone to setup a $3 website and increase their prices 5-10x? Finally I have found the KTV (or Sauna) near XiBaHe bus stop. The easiest way to get there is taking the subway. Get out at the station: guangximen (光熙门) and then cross the big street. To give you some info on your surroundings (I would know, as I lived across the street from the Hua Du for about 4 years).

You can get a HJ in the Hua Du hotel salon, no full service as it's curtains only and no private rooms (as of about a year ago).

The hotel you see when you turn right is the Kunlun Hotel. I've never had an issue with any of the girls on the street or the pimps.

The hair salon directly across the street from the Hua Du gives massage with HJ's and some other play if you go in there often enough.

The Salon you mentioned when you turn left from the Hua Du, go 30 meters, and then turn right is legit as it's tied in with a fairly large upscale hair salon.

If you turn left out of the Hua Du, and keep going straight and cross the large street, you will run directly into a masage place that can actually be quite fun. The girls are there for obvious reasons, and they are light hearted and fun and can certainly provide what you're looking for. They also have take-out.

So, if you go to Hua Du again, there's a little more lay of the land for you.

Mongering situation is not good at the hotel:

a) From 5-6 pm you usually find one or two couples of girls sitting in front of the reception looking for customers. Girls is a big word, in my opinion they are well over 30 y.o. so nothing for me.
b) There is a guard at the elevator block, usually looking for the papers of the girls. You see a big note (the old Soviet rule) that all the gusts have to be registered and no one is allowed after 23.00 in the room.
c) There is a unisex hairdresser in the hotel. Inside at the left you will find a massage. They asked me if I wanted but the girls was not what I expected… by the way I do not know if there is a FS or only a massage.
d) In the hotel there is, after the elevator block, at the left, the usual hotel shop with a little bit of everything: razor, toothpaste, some underwear, etc. Including Viagra and Cialis! But this will be a chapter on Viagra section, because it’s quite interesting…

This is my 2nd report and please bear with me if I made any mistake.

Stayed in Beijing for 2 weeks and explored several massage places:

99 Center Massage: E-Tower01-Rm703 (South of Kerry Center). They advertised on "That's BJ". The place is very clean and high-end. The place is legit, and the massage is so-so, and the ladies are around 24 and up. They have several massage packages, and I got the oil one around 200RMB (don't remember the exact price). I stayed in Kerry Center, and called their hotel-massage to send someone to my room. 90 mins for 380RMB. (I know it is pricey, but is very convinence). Unfortunately, the lady is on her 30s. I wasn't interested to ask about extra, and she did not hint anything. So, 100% legit massage and the massage is worse than 99 and www.clublesfleurs.com.

Two nights later, I called Kerry Center hotel-massage again. This time, they are sending me a Mongolian (21 yrs.). I was so happy and my "little brother" was also very happy and was trying to get some attention from the lady. I was touching her, and she kept moving my hands away. Hi, sorry, I have not been to these places in a while. The first one mentioned is likely to still be there. Just my hunch. Re finding the first sauna I mention: It's in a small retail complex. Has one of those oversized neon signs and is on right side of the retail complex. Next to it (on left) is a restaurant and a hairdresser. Plus there is a small hairdresser in the right side inside the sauna lobby itself, which you can see from outside door)

The Tianlun Dynasty is going to be closing (not sure when or how long) for renovations. Too bad, the sauna/KTV sounded like promising backups and the price was right. Back to the drawing board, reservation cancelled.

I believe the Regent is close by, and has some good reviews (as a hotel) on other sites. I didn't find it in this page, though. Would anyone like to comment (or offer comparisons to other well-reviewed higher-end hotels) with respect to the important matters pertaining to this board?

If the PIG is anything, its variable. I have been to the PIG when it was full of very nice lookers, and other nights where it was terrible. I think you have to be prepared to go elsewhere by 9:30pm if you can't find anything to your liking. As for why to guys pay a lot for low quality - convenience i would suggest. However I have found the girls are normally willing to negociate and do provide good service (esp the chinese), so while far more expensive than SW's - its not too outragious.

However in general i agree with you - I like the PIG, but I have to admit that on most nights I end up elsewhere to get my hit.

Update - There are a lot of new girls in town at Hollywood and while i have to admit the selection can very very variable also - esp if the girls think its a slow night - it looked pretty good to me last friday. Last year there was an African summit that took place in Beijing. Around 6,000 people from Africa traveled to Beijing for various meetings. This was described as being a trial run of many of the procedures that will be in place when the Olympics is held next year. Things actually ran very smoothly. The US pushes China to change from an export oriented economy to a consumption oriented economy. A couple of years ago, I had some great experiences from the MPs listed in the Japanese magazines with their awesome insert maps. FS was around Y600. After a lot of searching, I found some real model quality. However, those places were no longer operating when I looked again a year later.

Then the problem became how to choose among the dozens of incall MPs listed, especially since there is so little to go on to make a decision. I really didn't have the time to go look at the selection at each one. That's why the detailed report by Worm earlier on Soho MPs was great. But to really benefit me, I would need to know how to find the two incall places he mentioned among the dozens listed in the mags.

I found a new centrally located BBS during one of my wanderings this week. It is on Waijiaobu Jie which is a hutong running west of Chaoyangmen NanxiaoJie. Nan is the street running north from the main railway station and the International hotel is on the north east corner of Janguomennei Dajie.

The BBS is about 5o metres in on the right ( north) side just past a refrigeration store. The young lady was attractive , mid 20's and a good body and personaity with a little English. The BBS routine is typical with a broad range of services I paid 500 RMB and was fully satisfied. I probably could have bargained down a little but 500 is OK and she was worth it. I will go back later and service should even be better the second time around.

Wangjing area, which is not far from Lido Hotel, is populated by many Koreans and to a lesser extent, Japanese people. Don't go in the main door for the apartment building (up a couple of steps), as I did, and then try explaining to the guard what you are looking for. Instead, about 15 meters to the right of the main door is a side door (over where the bicycles are parked), and there are some steps and a ramp going down. Go down the steps, the place is immediately on the right as you get to the bottom of the stairs as Mojo888 mentioned.

2) Price - I am happy to report that for the month of July they have a special going - 20% off all prices. So the 160 kuai massage is now 130 kuai.

I had number 39 today - not bad, can't really recommend compared the glowing reports for other masseuses. She did the job, however. I will try some others next time - I imagine with the "sale" on I'll be there quite a few times in the upcoming days. They are helpful and used to guiding people to these massage places. They are fine about letting foreigners in to the first floor massage places. For some, you need to input room code to enter the building (for Room 101, the input code would be 0101). The guards will normally help you, our just tail someone else going in the building.

Wangjing New City is an endless resource of reasonably priced mongering possibilities. Here's two places that I've explored many times, with good success. They are close to the gate called Area 3, North Gate (san qu, bei men). Both are FS places that pose as normal massage palors. They do have normal foot massage setups as you walk in and do offer that service, but also offer more.

Prices: Both places below are RMB300 for FS. The girls vary from average to good. I've found some cute nubile gems with great attitudes and service many times. You have to just look and if you don't find something that suits your fancy, go on to the next place. The selection changes frequently at each place.

No. 1: in Building 323, Room 105. (first floor). What's cool about this place (and it's not the only one like this in the area) is that for FS customers, they take you up to the 13th (? ) floor to a normal apartment and you have a private room with adjacent shower all to yourself. Usually about 8 girls to choose from. Occassionally there could be other occupants in other rooms in the apartment. Of course you can shower before/after.

No. 2: Building 325, Room 102. Very close to above place. Unlike most buildings in this area, there are two main entrances to this building. Go in the entrance on the LEFT--you'll know you are at the correct entrance if you see a basement stairs with a sign "Cheese cake cafe". From lobby, go to right and enter door. Need to input code. First report; I've been lurking and conducting research, thanks to all of your advice. I hope to post more detailed info as I learn, but I've already noticed something that may help.

I, too, was pressured into buying silk pajamas at ChungXiu Sauna before I knew anything. Now I just ignore the staff and get my own. As you exit the shower/sauna area heading back into the locker room, there is a glass front cabinet immediately to your right, containing all of the complimentary, yellow pajamas. They often cover it with a towel so that you don't see it. Just reach in and grab yourself a pair. At that point, the staff already knows that you know the score and they won't say a word.

Other than that little scam, I love the place. 817 and 823 are good to me. I saw a petite beauty in the hall last time but didn't get her number. I've got to try that!

Though I can't confirm I suspect they offer FS as well. There is a massage in the range of 359 or so (don't remember) that includes FS. Though they don't speak English they tried to explain using sign language.

Since I was not sure I would get I went in for 298 massage. It was inclusive of a nice HJ but she didn't undress.

Total damage was 298+48+60.

I think that one is called "Shi Yi" ( 世一 ), and they have a big sign saying the "bath charge" is RMB 48. The place does look more upscale from the outside than what you described. Well, I guess you really can judge a book by its cover.

I've gone past there so many time and always wondered what kind of service they provide. I will probably give that a try in the next few days.

Do they allow you choices of girls? And do they have a large selection?

Beware of this scam in Biejing. my experience happened at Wangfujing walking street. here it goes.
I was walking early afternoon when I was approached by this reasonably beautifull young girl tall with big boobs. She said do you speak english. I said yes. She said in effect she wants to learn more english and she is going to school to learn english and she wants to practice with a foreigner. I said ok. To get acqainted better I told her to eat lunch with me. She tried to take me to a tea house but I did not like the look of it and did not feel safe. So I said I wanted to go to KFC to which she agreed. We talked for an hour about lot of things exchanged phone numbers and parted. So far so good.
In the evening she called me and asked me to meet her at KFC. When I went she introduced me to her male "friend" saying he is her classmate. She then insisted we go to a bar to have a drink. In the bar both of them order a bottle of wine and I stuck with jack daniels. My mistake was not looking at the menu. They also ordered a fruit platter.
To cut the long story short when the bill came it was 1600 RMB. All this time she behaved like My GF kissing touching etc. I asked the waiter why the bill was so high. He showed me the menu and for a bootle of Chinese wine it was more than $100 US. What can I do. I paid the bill. I was furious at myself for falling into this scam. I left them saying i had a meeting.
Next day she called me again and wanted to drink wine. i had already wised up. I said ok just you and me go for drinks. She said her friend wants to come also. I firmly said no. So I met her . She was alone. After walking few steps she got a call. She said her friend wanted to give her a book and she has to wait for him. Very soon he was there and he insisted he wants to come with us too. I said no. We started walking again in the direction of same bar, to which I said I am going to take you to a better bar. In spite of her objection I took her to a bar restaurent. She did not want to order the wine anymore. So we had dinner and parted. Later I called her and told her I know all her scams and if she wants to be my friend she has to quit scamming and be my friend. She apologised profusely and became my friend . We went to forbidden city, great wall etc together. I still could not get her into bed because she said she is a virgin and seventeen years old. She is trying make money during the summer time doing this scam.

Thanks, Sammon. From reading the forum, this seems like another variation on a common theme, and the advice of the senior members applies: don't go with anyone, anyplace of their choosing. Art students, etc... you name it. You set the rules. This is particularly important for those of us who don't speak the language in any country. I don't remember if I've done my "safety" cliffnotes, yet. I meant to, there is a wealth of good information here.

I've lined up 2 young ladies (rather, they claim to be young ladies) on the web, one looking for language exchange, the other which seems more like an independent or non-pro (let's not quibble over these terms, she may be a complete pro of course) just looking for a little something on the side of her regular job. I plan to meet them in the hotel bar, or a starbucks, KFC, whatever. Nothing is free. Even if they seem like "freebies" you still pay one way or another, and you need to control it and manage the risk or exposure. If I order a bottle of wine with my GF in the US, I look at the price. If I'm eating out with an SP in the US, I look at the price. If I can't see the price in China, I'm gonna ask, dammit, before I order. If that offends someone in the restaurant, I'll take my business elsewhere. If that offends the girl, then she is probably scamming me. If she needs money, I'm happy to pay for what I want. If she's 17 and a virgin and just wants sightseeing, well, that isn't my cup of tea. Each to his own.

I think more than a few mongers also advised mongering sober in Beijing, particularly for lowei without Chinese skills (is "without Chinese skills" a necessary qualification, or is that implied by "lowei"?). As much as I love a good drink, I think this is excellent advice.

1) I checked out the Saunas in Maijiabao Rd and I finally found it.

Tried the Sauna, manicure and a Fullbody massage (really proffessional) and later the extraservice. I talked to the manager (mike) about the prices because they only have a pricelist in Hansi. He told me that the Usual (fire&ice, catbath; BJ, FS) for 70min. Is about 1280 Y. Thats quite expensive. But I tried a nice girl from Sichuan an she was worth the money. Cute, friendly. Lovely. No good massage but. Very sensitive. End up with rd about 1600 Y for 5 hours.

2) Didn't find the SaunaPlace near 4th ring road. And decided to go to Chunxiulu for the regular program. 80 min. FS- Nr. 802. A little bit to slim but with a nice smile. Very loud. I've been following the thread a bit. Noticed that the average M's price seems to be creeping into the 8-- range?? Hmmm, I've never left more than 5-6 for a nice gift and been pleasantly rewarded in exchange (lt). Is this a firming trend by the girls - or are you guys softening up on the prices??? 800 is the rack rate. The rest depends on your negotiation skills and, as you have noticed, the time of the night.

On a slow night, at 2 or 3am the girls get desperate and often are drunk. At that point, any money made is better than none at all.

After you have established a repeat business relationship, price often isn't even discussed. I pay the maiden in the morning, and she takes it with that "how-much-did-you-give-me-this-time" look on her face.

Ever since I've known St. Margaret's (and I've known it back when it was behind the Worker's Stadium,) 800 was the asking price, because back when, 800RMB equalled 100 USD. If you want to do a little currency arbitrage, pay the girl $100, and you get her for around 760 ...

Re this first sauna I mention, it is definitely open: start from Sanlitun / Zhaolong hotel and head east ( Gongtibei rd/ Nongzhanguan rd); after you pass 4th ring road on the road make right on second traffic light (not counting one crossing light). You will see a home inn on the left after you make the turn. Go to second small retail cluster on the left. It has a hair salon / restaurant / sauna. Building no. Is "114" and it is just before the first intersection and a kfc.

I was just at this place the other day, and the problem in finding it is they always have the lobby lights on dim and it looks like it is closed. But it is very much open. A sichuan girl (no. 20) is amazing. Again, rmb300 for oil massage with breast massage. Moderately nice place, clean and decent nice overall. Friendly service.

This place seems to be total rip-off. They charged 349 Y and what I got in return was a HJ and half an hour of just light touching in the name of massage. Girl # 6 was just average and her skills in massage was absolutely nil.

They made a mistake (on upside) while totaling the bill and corrected after a lot of hassles and also while returning the change they made a mistake (on downside).

WangJing MP is by far the best solution cost wise.

Went there a bit before the may holidays. As this was the first sauna I've been to. I have no comparision. But I thought the place was relatively clean but rather a bit small. The sauna is at least 2 floors. Checked in. Showered. Went up. Ordered the 600 service. That included BJ and fs. The girl asked me if I wanted a BBBJ at no extra charge. But I declined. Don't know if thats offered to everyone. But hey. I like to be safe. As reported before. There is a 800 service. But that only includes getting oiled down and having your own hole played with on top of the 600 service. I heard there was a 1000 service. But I have no idea what that throws in. As I mentioned earlier the place isn't that big. And so they only have around 10 girls to choose from. At any given day they have around 7-8ppl to choose from. They do let you choose who you want but the choices arent many. Though there are pretty good looking for the most part. Which brings me to my question. Which sauna in beijing is relatively bigger with a more diverse pool of ladies to choose from? I don't like the whole we'll just send some random chick to your room. And you can keep turning them down until you find the right one. That wastes a lot of time.

I found a guy who could speak broken English. He told me they have a normal massage that costs 300 and all inclusive package for 1000. There was no choice in-between as you mentioned.

I went to the Wangjing 419 MP today. It's all that everyone says it is. I got #22 and as someone else has said, she's good. I do wish they had a shower though. The wipe down afterwards just doesn't do it for me. Also, I asked for the 160 yuan massage but when I went to pay, they only charged me 130. Don't know why.

It's really easy to find. Just get off at the subway Wangjing west subway stop. The bridge back over has a left and right exit. Take the left and just walk straight on that road. Eventually you will reach an intersection with a big nautilus like sculpture on it. The Starbucks is also on that intersection. Just cross that intersection and it will be on your right. Go down the ramp to the right of the guard and it's the first door on your right. It's just a regular massage place. You pass all these old ladies getting foot massages.

The WangJing MP certainly is attracting more and more ISGers these days. I havent visited for probably over 1 year now. I cant believe theyre actually reducing the price and not increasing it! Make the most of it. Remember, the thing I always liked best about this place, is it's open 24hrs. Your second comment is valid I hate to see places either swarmed by lurkers or raided and that is why I try to be a little "obtuse" as Zhuren notes in another post. My purpose was to confirm the existence and quality of the places mentionned in the earlier reports. I know of at least three examples in Canada where places, reviewed on this board, were raided the very next day so while I am in China now I am still reluctant to be too specific. At least it is better then not posting at all.

Re PM's between Senior members- I agree 100%. It would be great if it happened in reality. just a quick note about novotel xiang due to a search on this thread where some questions were asked in the past.

overall, this is a good deal at $70ish usd in beijing booked through orbitz the day before arrival.

good location for the subway at 50m to the station entrance.

close to major shopping street and forbidden city.

rooms are adequate with very reliable and fast internet. actually best speed i have had in a hotel for a while at a cost of 80 per day unlimited. also wifi in the bar area.

taxi:

silk rd 11rmb

zero problems with guests at any time. tested day after day as late as 2 am. the doorman staff is helpful.

has ktv which i tried to check out upon my very late arrival at 2am. received negative report from a turkish guy in the elevator about cost. then the manager of the ktv told me that they were closed but walked me back upstairs to the hair salon (look for checkered pole). i was offered massage by a 6/10 for 300 and oral for 1300 more. did not partake for obvious reasons. the ktv manager did tell me that at earlier hours, the have 12 girls to choose from. but i wanted to explore the beijing landmarks like the pig and maggie’s so no further research was done.

i did have an unusual problem with the food in the buffet restaurant. i ate two breakfasts and one dinner there and every bite of every cooked food item, from fried eggs to bacon to veggies just did not taste right. i am not one to have high expectations about hotel buffets. some are ok and some are better and they all just serve a basic purpose. but there is a problem here with ingredient selection or maybe the soap that they use in the kitchen is causing a problem. i do not know. strange really.

but there is a japanese restaurant on the second floor that was surprisingly good. order the buffet and it is menu based. order, eat, and order some more. all small plates of hot and cold dishes and all just well done. there is one buffet option for 160 rmb which includes all you can drink beer or saki. this can be a real value for some. of course you can order booze from the bar ala carte. i had a lunch and a dinner there and was happy with both. service is better at 6pm than when they get busy at about 7pm.

be aware that there is another novotel only a few blocks away that this can cause confusion with drivers.

I was able to find this sauna place. When I first walked in, they require me to take off my shoes and then go into the shower/sauna/pool area. You will see a home inn on the left after you make the turn. Go to second small retail cluster on the left. It has a hair salon / restaurant / sauna. Building no. Is "114" and it is just before the first intersection and a kfc.

I was just at this place the other day, and the problem in finding it is they always have the lobby lights on dim and it looks like it is closed. But it is very much open. A sichuan girl (no. 20) is amazing. Again, rmb300 for oil massage with breast massage. Moderately nice place, clean and decent nice overall. Friendly service.

Don't know how many of you folks get up to the Huilongguan area (north of Beijing in Changping District).

I recently tried a sauna just off the Huilongguan exit of the northbound expressway.

Damage for an hour of FS was RMB 788 + 40 or so for the showers, etc. Seems to me quite a bit cheaper than the FS places in town. (Although still more expensive than my favorite saunas in Shanghai.)

The police occasionally target Hollywood - last week was one of those week. I understand they caught 2-3 Russian girls which was a shame. Staying at a Home Inn in Beijing, I get these cards slipped under the door, so I called one up on Friday in the daytime to arrange a "nooner." (The service I tried has a phone number ending in 3665, we spoke Chinese.) They start the negotiation at 600 but will accept 400. They said it would take 30-40 min. for the girl to arrive, but I waited for an hour. The girl was somewhere between dumpy and cute, so I'll give her a 5. My strong advice is to use Q or AFF, at a pinch go to some high class KTV's, in some, very rare places, students may work part time to earn a bit of extra cash. The disco's - like babyface - may be good. But apart from these "high-energy" investment options - I have no idea where you will score a real college student.

I do find it puzzling why guys go crazy about college students - professionals normally give much better service and in many cases can look a lot better. Pay her the 'normal' fee first time - RMB800.

Treat her VERY VERY well - like she really is SPECIAL - if she provides what you want - then negotiate again for future visits to yours and her mutual satisfaction.

If the first night is no good - go and repeat over and over until you get what you want.

I have 4 or 5 'regulars' who visit me daytime / evening in hotel at 'reasonable' rates - always first class service and we are BOTH happy.

Well, I have a negative report from Beijing.

Arrived in the Capitol city this afternoon. Took a cab from the airport to my hotel - The Landmark. It has been previously recommended as a girl friendly hotel.

After showering, getting caught up on some emails, and taking a bit of Viagra (I had just come in from the US and thought I would need the lift), I headed over to the HRC about 10:00.

There was not alot of play there at that time, but there was one gorgeous Eurasian babe with whom I exchanged smiles. I took a seat at the bar and eventually she joined me. She was about 5'9" with perfect breasts and of Russian/Chinese origin. I love Eurasian mixes and thought I hit the jackpot. We hit it off well and agreed on the standard 800 rmb.

About 11:15 we headed out to my room. I always give the girl my room number in advance in case of questions. Well, we were stopped at the elevators to the Landmark by security. They were adamant about not letting her up to the room. I offered to register her (and the scene was mildly embarassing), and it was no go. The kept repeating that no guests were allowed to be registered in the room or allowed in the room after 11 pm. Frankly, I was a bit taken aback as this had not happened to me in China in over 8 years when I actually checked in with someone (a girlfriend), and they would not allow her up to the room.

One of the problems is that I don't think the girl had proper ID on her, but the Landmark staff was pretty adamant that she was not coming to my room.

The end of the story is that we walked out of the hotel, exchanged phone numbers (I gave her 100 rmb for her efforts) and promised to meet at 6 am. Meanwhile, I was really psyched up about this particular p4p (and I rarely get that way about any p4p chick), and now I may just have to search the forum for a nearby onsite locale. Someone had mentioned a bar where they had rooms and I wish I had remembered that for this instance.

Regardless, I would not recommend the Landmark if you have any intention of mongering here in Beijing.

In several posts I have clearly indicated to avoid both Landmark and Sheraton as they will on MOST occasions refuse you entry after 11pm.

I do sympathise with you - I hate this practice and it really does stuff your night.

Next time stay at Kunlun Hotel - just around corner from Landmark - a bit more pricey but contact them directly and ask for CHEAPEST ALL INCLUSIVE price and you should get about RMB1,100 weekends or RMB1,300 weekdays.

HouseMost service apartments are GF. Guards often pretend they didn't see you when you go in with a girl.

I actually managed to catch a 30+ freebie in one of my recent stay. I met her in the elevator and asked her if she liked to have dinner together. After dinner, I invited her to my room for a drink because she was staying in the same apartment. She agreed. To cut the story short, we made out and she was extremely wet & horny. Very nice GFE session. So you can be daring in the service apartment too. Many female locals traveling from other cities often stay in service apartments. As a rule of thumb, the more stars a hotel has (and the more money it costs) the higher its gfriendlyness. In China (and not only in China,) you can always try to drop a tip on the guard, a smoother transaction than registering a short-time guest.

The more sophisticated ladies working the Great Wall hotel circuit usually have a change of sedate clothes. That (and a tip if she comes often) usually gets her by the guard. Just don't waltz in with a babe in hot pants and her boobs hanging out. (In more sophisticated markets, the girls also carry a stash of the approriate key cards ... but this practice hasn't made it to China - yet.)

Decent hotels such as the Hyatt or the Hilton won't dare to disturb the well-being of their paid guests. If you stay there often, the concierge or bellman will even see to your well-being .... just keep it smooth and discrete.

Many Chinese hotels have their in-house operations (a "health club" and a KTV on premises) and they try to keep out the competition. Again, a small donation to the guard may change things. If it doesn't, change hotels.

The Landmark and the Sheraton may be special cases. Both are in a district which is often mobbed by very aggressive touts. I hate having business meetings at the Landmark, because sometimes the taxi can't even get through the throngs of touts, and twice I had to physically remove one who came through the taxi door ... The Sheraton, home of the pricey Passion, has own business interests to protect also ...

One more item: In an international hotel, it sometimes helps to request the manager to come to your room immediately. Don't argue with the guard. Politely get the guard's name - write it down in front of him. Then go to your room, don't waltz to the front desk. Call for the manager to come to your room. Sit him down and tell him brazenly that a stupid guard by the name of ..... ruined your evening, and that you lost money, and that you are highly dissatisfied, and that you will change hotels tomorrow. You appreciate the hotel's concern for the security and safety of the guests. But management also must care to the well-being of same. Yadda, yadda. I did that once or twice, and it worked miracles.

PS: Another brazen approach is to inform the front desk that you want "the second breakfast and the video on demand on a separate bill" when you check out. That tells them that you are a professional player who's not to be trifled with. If they don't get it, change hotels.

FYI, rumors that Maggie's will be closed during the Olympics are ... well ... just rumors. Actually, they are unfounded garbage.

To the sounds of "We built this city on rock'n'oll" ISG conducted an exclusive live interview with a representative of Maggie's management.

ISG: "People say, you will close down during the Olympics."

M: "How many drinks have you had already?"

ISG: "Answer the question."

M: "We'll be wide open."

ISG: "Wide open, but all Mongolians will be sent to Ulan Bator?"

M: "Easy on the alcohol. The place will be in full operation. Actually, we will expand the place shortly to allow for more guests."
