I'm going to try to get to that specific one tomorrow afternoon. I know about Hanwang Road, but I can't find Siluhualu on a map. What's the name of the place? What do I tell the taxi driver?
Is this the same place as Roman Holiday?
Weekend venture to Yanjiao turned out to be worthwhile. Luckily had a Chinese mate who knew the ropes.
Arrived at this massage place at 11. 30, bit late really, earlier is better I think? Plenty of guys there at that time.

There's a good HJ / FS place just to the West of Jiaodaokou. To the south of the Andingmen Subway station. If you go to the West of Jiaodaokou on the North side of Gulou Dong there are two massage places 100 meters or so in. If you pass the Guitar Bar and Restaurant you've gone too far (confusingly, there's a Guitar Bar guitar store on the south side of the street, but this is an actual restaurant on the North side). The massage places are a set back from the street, behind a &23567; &21334; &37096; and a public bathroom. You can see the neon of the shops from the road.
Of the two massage places, the one facing Gulou Dong is the one to go to. The one around the side (facing West) , is a substandard service. I was quoted 200rmb for a tuiyou, but when it came to do the deed she said that was just for a massage, and wound up making me pay another 100rmb for a boob job.
The one facing south is very straightforward. They have between 1-3 girls at any given time (5-6/10) .200HJ. 300FS, dingy but not frightening accommodations. Its open 24 hours. The girl I've seen there had long fingernails, so there was no pretense of an actual massage.

Happened to visit this sauna as it's just at the intersection of G102 and Yanlin Road. Took a quick bath then went up to the third floor. Went to Roman Holiday as it was frequently recommended. Totally, it's a relatively high end sauna with nice layout. Took a quick bath in the first floor, then up to the second floor, a clean massage place. Then up to the third floor, FS area. The first lineup of 5 girls were not nice, a bit too old. Chose no one. After about 5 mins, come the second lineup of 6 girls, only a girl from Jiangsu is nice. Chose no one again. Another 5 mins, come the third lineup of 6 girls, only a girl from Jilin is nice,. Young, tall, slim, above average looks. 258 just for fuck, no BJ / BBBJ. 398 for fuck plus BJ / BBBJ, one hour. 600 for FS set, one and a half hours. Couldn't make it to the the outskirts of Beijing for Roman or the other recommended places here, but I found a Chinese website that is basically a repository of user-contributed KTV / Saunas / BBSes / MPs / etc. Unfortunately it requires payment (by means of China Mobile or Unicom charge cards) to see the addresses. I don't recommend this as the prices are exorbitant, but based on the titles you can figure out where there are concentrated areas of BBSes and MPs. Since I was in Haidian, which doesn't have many reports here, I went to an MP on Beiwa Lu near the northern intersection. During the afternoon found a few BBSes / MPs that were definitely WGs only. Went to one. HJ for 140 (price was firm). Service was pretty good and the WG was attractive, but they only offer HJ and the price is a tad on the expensive side. If you're in the area and don't want to travel far, it might be worth a walk down Beiwa.

Let me know after you have been there. So I tried it. The place is huge, with two elephants out front, but well past its prime. When I went, a few days ago, there was almost no one there at 10pm. Ditto to CW2's request. Last time in BJ, No. 8 was closed and that was the highest end sauna, though service varies. If anyone living in BJ has current info on high end sauna and KTV's post or PM me (us).
Last summer during the crack down, I did go to one upper class, but not best KTV that was opened secretly. Only way I knew was the TSRJ manager I knew went to work there. Think special elevator with key to a non-descript 4 star hotel with hidden floors decorated to 5+ star for the KTV.

I have also had this experience, specifically, last summer during the crack down. I went to a handful of big well-known places. My private driver even told me he knows there's service in these places and I was paying him by the day to drive an audi, not like a cab meter, so no incentive to bring me any where to get petty cash on the side. I went in and they all asked me to register or if I was a "member". I said it was my first time and produced my passport. GM. Try writing Chinese in your post. Check the "posted" post. If it doesn't show Chinese characters, then edit it (again using Chinese, to erase the number spaghetti). Usually, for me, the 2nd time (after the editing) Chinese appears. But not always. This erratic showing of Chinese probably depends on a number of things (including your computer, the route from your machine to Jackson's machine, and the use of any proxy). Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

One place that is popular with ex-pats (and therefore welcomes foreigners, which is not always the case) is located near the Kempinski Hotel. I'm sure Beijing regulars know the place I mean. (In the post-crackdown mood, I'd rather not name names; PM me for details.) I'm not sure I'd describe it as "high end", but it's reasonably presentable. Some of the girls are cute, and they've just in the last few days brought a batch of new girls into the place. It can be cautious with new walk-in customers (ie, those not recommended by someone) , but this rule is relaxed for foreigners, on the assumption that a laowai is unlikely to be a police stooge. FS is rmb1, 150 for 70 minutes (as I said, not cheap!). Sessions with two girls (shuangfei in Chinese) are a house special; they do it rather well, but it costs rmb1, 800 (as I said, ..)

405; Just down the street from the famous 419 Bldg. Both 405/419 are just inside the WJ New Town complex's gate that is close to Guangshun S. St, near the corner that has a Starbucks / Nirvana. As you go in this gate. 419 is to the right. 405 to the left (down the street a few buildings). It's on the first floor with a door to the MP right at side of building closest to street. Can't miss it. So 405 is one of the top places in this WJ MP scene in my opinion. The nicest setup inside in terms of rooms and general look of the place. They typically have great girls that are attractive and have a good attitude. There was a large turnover recently and I'm not sure about the lineup of the current team.
419 (a) : Massage Parlor in basement. Just to right of main entrance to building is the stairway to the basement. Good reliable service with HJ & HE standard. RMB160 or so. One hot girl that I know: No. 78.
419 (be) : To the left of main entrance and just to the right of a restaurant called TERRACE is the entrance to a 2nd floor Massage Parlor. GMI assume that you are using Safari; have you try going to System Preferences / International / Language and choose your language text preferences. Now open the Language and text preference. You will have to drag the language you want to prefer and then close the Safari and relaunch it again. You can use the short cut command+q key to close it.

Is the first place on Jiaodaokou or Gulou Dong street? It is 100 meters or so to the West of the Jiaodaokou intersection on Gulou Dong. About half way between Cafe Alba and Jiaodaokou on the North side of Gulou Dong. If U-turn right at the first public bathroom you pass on the north side of the street while walking West on Gulou Dong you will see two massage places set back from the street. The one facing south (towards gulou dong) is the good one. The one facing West has been disappointing.

I've called dozens of girls from Craigslist in the past few months. The first funny thing is that most of them quoted a very high price at the begining, such as 2000 rmb for ST, then negotiate to 800, even 500. So it seems almost reasonable to think they will send the same girls at different prices if you don't negotiate with them.
The second funny thing is that many of Craigs girls have several different phone numbers even a dozen. So when you complain a bad treatment and turn to call another girl, actually you do deal with the same 'she'.

I went on a Friday, and stayed from 6pm-10pm. It was mostly dead the whole time.
The service:
Shower was okay. The hot tub was not turned on, nor the sauna.
The rooms: Smelly, disgusting, and barely cleaned.
The regular service: Okay. I hope you like getting stared and pointed at for being a foreigner. Pretty unprofessional, everyone acts too casual. Especially the girls.
The girls: NOT GOOD. They brought in a group of 5s and 6s. Bad breath, bad teeth, sloppy looking all around. A request for a different lineup yielded blank stares from the staff.
The girls' attitude was not great. A few of the girls, especially the ones that are closer to 7s and 8s, just walk away, and claim they won't have sex with laowai.
I picked a 6 with garlic breath just to get one out of the way. She wasn't bad, but during it I had to pretend I was having sex with someone else. That's a pretty bad sign.
I sat around and got some reading done, but when the lineup got worse, as well as the attitudes, I just headed home.
I've had great times from the most unexpected people, so looks and quality are not super big deals for me. Attitude and performance mean a lot more. This place fails at that. IMHO, girl quality from the later usually better.

Went to Roman Holiday as it was frequently recommended. Totally, it's a relatively high end sauna with nice layout. Took a quick bath in the first floor, then up to the second floor, a clean massage place. Then up to the third floor, FS area. The first lineup of 5 girls were not nice, a bit too old. Chose no one. After about 5 mins, come the second lineup of 6 girls, only a girl from Jiangsu is nice. Chose no one again. Another 5 mins, come the third lineup of 6 girls, only a girl from Jilin is nice,. Young, tall, slim, above average looks. 258 just for fuck, no BJ / BBBJ. 398 for fuck plus BJ / BBBJ, one hour. 600 for FS set, one and a half hours. Chose nobody and back down to the second floor for a rest. In a word, the quality of girls was just so so, as it did in Fucheng Water SPA, but expensive. So it's not worthwhile, IMHO.

I'll write a report after I check those places out. Take the subway to Guomao Station (Line 1) and head east along Dawanglu. You'll come across a huge bunch of people waiting for the long haul buses, all being some variation of bus number 930. You should be able to get on just about any one of them. The cost is 5RMB without the card and (surprisingly) 2RMB with. You'll want to get off the bus at Yanlinglukou (Yanling Road) or if you're bad with Chinese, the third stop after getting on the bus, or the second stop after its gone for 30 mins without stopping (highway express bus straight to through to Yanjiao after all) If you look to your left out of the bus, you should see 'Villa de Norway', a spa that no one has mentioned about so it's definitely not with special services.
Once you've alighted, follow the road till the intersection, cross it and head north. When you arrive at the next intersection, go west (so you're slightly backtracking here). Eventually you'll run into the peach colored building that is Roman Holiday.
For the other saunas (which I haven't explored yet) it seems that it's further down the main road you alight at, so head to the second intersection after alighting and explore around there.
Hope my directions aren't too cryptic to figure out. If you're taking a taxi, best not to do it alone. You'll be expecting to pay about 100rmb+. Black cabs are actually more worthwhile and if you're lucky, you'll encounter one that's short of one passenger and he'll offer to take someone for 10RMB. Same case for the way back. And do note the buses stop at 8. 30pm so make note of that.

If the buckets and creams for foot massage are never used, it is probably obvious to the police. So they go all out, do everything, then add a little twist along the way and at the end. Hard to get busted that way, unless the client is police. And I know some of the girls really do only perform massage, no extras. He probably assigns them to the ones he is suspicious of.

The police first raided a dimly lit, three-room foot massage shop. The owner, a woman surnamed Xu from Sichuan province, said her ex-husband had previously run the business, which she said was legal.
However, after a police check, the services provided by the shop went beyond its foot massage business.
"The shop was suspected of offering sex massages," said Peng Jiang, the head of Pingfang public security bureau, adding that the partitions in the rooms were not transparent, as the law stipulates.
The owner's license was revoked and she was fined.
After that, the law enforcement officers found another unlicensed massage center that was locked. Police officers eventually forced their way into the room.
As they did, a woman rushed over from a crowd of residents and said the shop belonged to her, adding that there was nothing in it.

"Most owners open shops there because the rent is cheaper and it is hard to spot the rooms," Wang said."Some who are suspected of running illegal businesses will face administrative punishments and some may face a criminal penalty if the cases are serious."
Sometimes commercial officials were confronted by violent protests from wrongdoers, but these can be avoided if the police cooperate with them, he said.
However, Wang added the most important thing is to increase regular checks instead of waiting for residents' reports.
Police have already closed 224 hair salons and foot massage parlors in Beijing for being engaged in prostitution and have arrested 715 people since April, according to previous reports.

Thanks for the help.IIRC, that Hilton requires a room key to get to the floors where there are guest rooms. If that's the case you'll have to meet them and bring them up to your room. Like any large hotel, there are plenty of people coming in and out so you don't need to worry about people giving you trouble.
Walking around that neighborhood at night you'll get plenty of offers to bring you to a brothel. I would recommend avoiding them. I've heard plenty of stories of people being ripped off, and no success stories. Another scam you'll run into is attractive girls trying to practice their English with you and suggesting that you talk over tea. They'll bring you to a place where you'll get stuck with a very large bill.

KTVs are mainly if you have a good / decent command of Chinese and like having conversations with the girls / singing karaoke songs / drinking copious amounts of beer. If you're looking for straight action then certain outcall providers would fulfill your need quicker and at a cheaper rate. 2. Can't answer about the best service, I don't use them. But you will need your passport to get a room. You might get a girl you pick up to get the room for you, then text you the room number. But thats not a likely scenario for outcall girls.

If you go to Andingmen Nei, there's a hutong across from Guozijian called cheniandian hutong. Its on the West side of the street, I believe at the third light south of the second ring road. Not every girl lists their qq or phone number, but if you check around enough of them do. You can also email the girls through the site with your contact info. I sometimes use a HomeInn for meeting my friends, because HomeInn has 4 hour rates (100RMB). But, according to the HomeInn and my friends, not all HomeInns are licensed to register foreigners. So, perhaps the law restricting where foreigners can stay has been rescinded, but I think hotels are still required to have a license that allows them to register foreigners. The HomeInn explained this to my friend, and also provided us with the names of a few of the HomeInns that allowed foreigner registration (don't ask me for it, I don't have it).
So perhaps you were not correct to argue with the proprietor. There may still be issues for them, just different ones. (But, I'm no expert on this.)

Slightly off-topic but I know that, in Shanghai, there are a few black WG's but the ones I'm aware of are all freelancers or work privately via agents I. E. Don't hang out in well-known bars / club mongering destinations. In one case, I know one (western) agent / pimp who 'manages' the appointments pipeline for one or two African ladies there. 1. Repetitive ads. Most have a pattern. Once a week, every day, every Friday, etc. How professional! I ignore these.
2. Taglines. Sometimes the pictures change but taglines don't. A feeble attempt on their part to re-invent identity.
3. Phone numbers. New picture, new tagline, new ad content but same phone number. You need a good head for numbers to spot this one.
4. Good English. All pros post ads in good english. Newbies might not.
5. Rates. Newbies are sometimes inflexible with rates or too flexible. This is a hit or miss but when you are speaking to a person you have more clues in her voice, confidence levels, etc.
6. Conversation. You can always fire a few questions. Where are you from? What services you provide, etc. This will give you more food for guess work.
7. There are many posts claiming to be students. Try quizzing them about courses, uni, etc. I hit gold once with this question.
Again, this is not a science but if you do it once a month or so you could spot a newbie

I have just had five days in Shenyang followed by, what will be, three nights here in God's Own City. Shenyang produced little other than a remarkably anodyne, but relaxing, massage at, I think, a Korean establishment just south of the North Station.
I delivered myself up to the tender mercies of the Beijing taxi and, after a couple of false starts, got to South Gate, Ritan. Maggies could really be anywhere in the world. Reasonable rock, plenty of familiar beers and enough laowei guts (mine included) to sink a battleship. But it does work. A quick spin around the bar, sit down, order a beer and you do feel at home. Anyway, a short conversation agreeing on 1k5 and it was back to the hotel (Days Inn Forbidden City. I know, horribly American but cheap, cheerful, central and a breeze for getting the goods in after midnight). The order of the night was predictable with her soft, wet and accommodating, and myself knackered, pissed and pretty well useless other than to give her a good licking. She left with the Mao's, I stayed with the head ache. A good experience and, with a little less Red Star wine, could have been spectacular.

Welcome to Beijing. Regarding Google and ISG: good luck with that! Google and China are not friends, so it is always a good question what you'll get back from a Google search, if anything. Best to get a VPN set up and access your favorite services within that, and only within that, and never try to do a direct access to ISG from inside China.
Personally, I'd also steer clear of announcing exactly where I was staying, while posting on your exploits. If you must declare your location, I think it is prudent to do the post after you have departed. Call me paranoid, but there is little harm in a little prudence.

I went out to Chaoyang again last night and, after the normal dumb show with the Beijing taxi. They really do seem to think a customer is an imposition, especially when they don't want to go to Wangfujing, Tianenmen or similar tourist spots. I ended up back at Maggies. I had a nice walk round and was tempted by Mongolia again but, in one case fell off the floor when 2K5 was mentioned with not a blink or attempt to negotiate. Others were more accommodating at 1K each for a delightful pair.
After a Murphy's the very helpful doorman put me in a taxi on the way to Chocolate. A wee bit different, like comparing the country pub, with all its comforts and characters (Maggies) with a swish international club. But they didn't turn a hair as I sloped in in shorts and T shirt. The beer was more expensive. A 'beer menu' I ask you! But there was seating and a friendly looking array of CIS. Great English and more of a sense of humour than the average Chinese / Mongolian. The young women agreed at 1K LT and I was off back to Dongchang. She really was spectacular, fair haired, fair skinned but it has to be said, not a lightweight. She did seem to care about her job and we spent several sweaty hours before both turning over and going to sleep. God, it was almost like being married, in a good way.
I was pleasantly surprised as I understood from various parts of this forum, especially the UAE, CIS women are expensive, often drunk and agressive and clockwatchers on a industrial scale. In this case no and I leave Beijing for now with the usual smile of a European with fond memories of things he aint going to see again soon in the UK.
