I would love to see some of your conversations.

Okay, there is definitely action in the big sauna on Chunxiulu just north of Dongzhimenwai. We went to check it out last week. As usual, the nice manager tried to sell us a 7K membership. Run, tell them to fuck off or do whatever you want. In the open with people around not much is likely to happen.

Okay, there is definitely action in the big sauna on Chunxiulu just north of Dongzhimenwai. We went to check it out last week. As usual, the nice manager tried to sell us a 7K membership. We insisted no way, just want the "an mo" which costs 1367 (1200 plus 167 door fee). Yes, it's expensive, but this is Beijing. It was a bit busy, so had to wait for 30 minutes. Also, the girl later told me that due to NPC, many girls went on holiday, but more would come back. The up side is that there are some real stunners at this place, easily in the 7-9 category. Usually, your first choice will be a 5, but wait for the second round, and someone decent will show up. My friend and I both landed someone decent.

I followed the reference in beijing nightlife guide dot com to a place convenient to central Beijing (inside 2nd ring, Chong Wen district) , Ba Ti Li Ya Thai Massage. You can find the address on that forum. Service is complete, but I was in a rush and not in a position to negotiate a good price for complete service. That is right folks, Beijing apparently has their own 141 community. Since most of the people go down to CP for that kind of QQ / part time fun my mind was always set that it only happens there. I was very wrong. After stumbling upon that one Chinese monger site and being active for a few days I finally managed to coax a QQ out of a Chinese monger. OK fellas, so I decided to play the Craigslist game. I had one that seemed like scammer and one that seemed maybe not so interested but possibly a real hook up. Of course the scammer came through tonight. Yes, I saw the warning signs but for some stupid reason I wanted to see if I could beat the game (I didn't).
To start off she was way foward about my phone number and hotel room on our initial emails (clue 1). She asked me my name several times after we emailed back and forth (clue 2). I finally talked with her and her english was very good. I suggested we meet near my hotel (but not at it so I had an escape route). After a bit of phone tag she asked for me to come meet her half way in between where she lives and my hotel (clue 3). She was very persistent in meeting there for a number of reasons. I agreed and went. She sent a picture of a cute girl but she did not match the picture (DING DING. I knew this was a scam but felt like I could beat it). We met by the Crowne Plaza. So she walked me down the street and started to go into a back alley bar, super smart guy that I am, I figured this would be where she scams me. So I convinced her to walk around and we would go some place else. So we went to a downstairs pub on the main street, same block as Crowne Plaza. We started with beer (cool I thought I am winning) then she got a phone call and asked if her friend could come so I said sure (I don't mind buying beer for two ladies). When her friend got there they orderd wine. Little did I realize that the wine was like 180 yuan a glass. Anyway to make a long story short. After the third round of wine I called it quits and got the check. Total damage 2400yuan. A coupel of beers, some wine, a fruit plate, and tea. Yup I lost the game.
It has been said here before (but I was waaaaaay too smart to listen) don't do the Craigs List thing. The women will scam the yuan right out of you. I can't wait for my next Thailand trip. BJ is way too expensive for me.If, for whatever reason, you feel the need to bring a girl that you're suspicious about to a bar, take her to the Sanlitun area. I'm not saying that every bar there is above that sort of thing, but there are enough that you can trust to be reasonably straight with you. Try Aperitivo, Q Bar, The Den, Beer Mania, The Tree, Smugglers, etc. Search through the Beijinger's directory for more suggestions if you need them. And definitely avoid all bars in the Wangfujing area. That neighborhood is so saturated by scammers, I wouldn't be surprised if all the non-hotel bars were in on it. If she refuses, you know what her game is and can walk away.

I tried this place again yesterday. Had more time, but still the rate is not the best.
They want 198 for basic massage. Complete service on top of that is 600. They would not budge on price.
The rooms are basic, mostly bed. I literally had a wall to wall bed this time. Plenty of bed space, not much floor space.
I asked the Mamasan for the pretty girl, hoping I'd get the one I saw walk in the previous time. Sure enough, she showed up. She is tall, slender, big smile, big eyes, long hair, young, shapely. Very pretty Henan girl.

So, first time w this, thought I'd share my experience. I called angel. I don't speak any mandarin, & her English was ok. Don't play this game!In my experience, the WGs in the international bars do speak English (basically a job requirement) as you say, but I don't know any of them where the going rate is less than 1000 rmb these days, especially if you want at least a 7-8. A possible exception is that late a night a girl may come down in price if she doesn't expect any further business. Plus, their deal with the bar is that you have to buy them at least one drink. And you end up paying for taxis, no matter what. My experience in bars has been hit or miss, and I'm usually too jet lagged to hang out into the wee hours anyhow. In Shanghai or (especially) HK, you can go to a bar street and expect to find reasonably priced, English speaking take out, and the girls are entertaining enough that it is worth an evening of bar bills. I haven't had that experience in BJ bars for at least a couple of years. If you have some better suggestions, I am seriously interested in hearing them. There are certainly cheaper agencies in BJ than Fiona's, and I've had some real winners from them. And I'm often not looking for conversation. But it is rare to find an English speaking one from Angel or Kitty. You get what you pay for, IMHO.

Everyone else I've encountered on QQ has been an apartment where different girls are cycled in and out of. They tend to be cheaper. 300-500rmb ST. 800-1000 LT. I've come across some great ones, but the past couple of times I've done it they were fairly substandard in terms of looks and service. YMMV.
There seem to be a few services that have you meet at an intersection, give you a girl who then brings you to an apartment or hotel. I met one at Tuanjiehu subway station. If you go with one of those, I'd recommend not paying until you get to the actual room. I paid upfront once. After the antibiotics treatment, the infection was gone, but it took another several days for the skin to recover. But with the recovery, my desire for the sport then finally came back as well. I was lucky it was no herpes. While herpes will remain in your body, chancroid is gone when it's gone. So, I cannot infect anybody else now after recovery. But due to the delay of the proper treatment, things became quite tough.

WondererOk so I'm headed to Beijing in a week or so and as considering using Angel's service since there were a few good recommendations here. However, I am concerned, especially with Wonderer's post about STD potential. I've not done this before and not considering this to be a regular thing, prefer to keep it a more rare occasion.
I plan to do it protected. However what about STD's that can be caught even with condoms such as herpes or warts? According to internet, those just require skin to skin contact and are life permanent. What do people here on this board do or think about this? Is there any way to be "safer"? Is Angel a relatively clean and safe place? I've not seen much discussion about the safety practice here. A bit more money here and there isn't so much of a big deal so would rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks.Thanks for the interest. I try to answer here as much as I can. First, the hospital is not a well-known one, but that's not the point. Actually in the intial phase, the differentiation between herpes genitalis and chancroid is difficult. The symptoms are pretty much the same. Then, herpes is much more widespread than chancroid. The latter is actually relatively rare. So, I don't blame the doctors. And for the lab: it is in both cases, herpes (then even more) and chancroid very important to start the treatment right away. In particular for herpes, you need to start within 72 hours from the first symptoms. Otherwise, the chances to reduce the virus are much smaller. Therefore, it is normally necessary to start the treatment even without the lab test. And, given the much higher statistical chances for herpes, it was correct to start with that (anti-virus) treatment first. As a matter of fact, it is less critical to start the treatment of chancroid somewhat later than herpes. So, in case you are not certain, it is still better to start with the herpes treatment. If there is then no improvement within say two days, then the symptoms also become more differentiated and it becomes clear whether it is herpes or chancroid. In case a lab test was made, the results are also available in a few days, but then you might not need them anymore, since either the treatment was successful already or the symptoms are more pronounced.
Having gone through all this, of course, I also made my studies on the internet and found quite some valuable information. Hence, after two or three days of unsuccessful treatment of herpes, I conculded myself that it must be chancroid and checked with the doctor again. Due to the better differentiation of the symptoms at this stage, the case was then clear. The treatment with antibiotics was then quite effective in relatively short time (3 to 4 days) , and meanwhile it's all history.
And, to answer some other questions: we did it uncovered, since we both just came from a medical check with all thumbs up. However, during these tests they normally don't see other std's than HIV. If there is no active recurrence of herpes, they will not notice it. And, if the lady carries chancroid bacteria, she does not necessarily have symptoms. It is actually quite often asymptomatic. And not every man who does it uncovered with her will get the chancroid. Of course, if you do it very wild and your brother might get some irritation anyhow, it is easier to get. And we did it quite wild.
In case of chancroid, condoms provide relatively good protection. However, in case of herpes, it depends on the stage of the herpes. If the lady has open sores, herpes genitalis is highly contagious, and already some liquid from the sores may transmit the disease. If there are no open sores or in case the virus is not active (sleeping and waiting for the next recurrence) , the risk to get it is very low. The only real problem is just before the recurrence, when the sores are almost not visible, but already produce contagious liquid. A condom still provides protection, but the risk is higher.
Having said all this, I hope it helps some fellow mongers to understand the issues and risks better. For my part, I will still be in the game again in future, but will use condoms if I don't know the girl for a long time and don't know her history. I guess this is a good advice anyhow.
And one more point. I was able to contact the girl again, from whom I got the chancroid. I spoke to her and told her what medicine to take to get rid of the risk for her customers. She understood the issue and said that she will take the antibiotics. However, I am not sure whether or not she really did so. This is beyond my control.

WondererSo, I read Sevbad's review and called Angel last night. Asked for Ting Ting and the girl she sent was quite short with a nice body. The girl's sitting fee is 1, 000RMB, but you also have to pay mami 1, 000, waiter 800 and KTV stewardness 800. Plus the drinks, it is quiet expensive. But the girls worth it.
Some of other places are more cost efficient, but, the quality of girls are also discounted little bit.

Had a good send-off Friday night. Got an afternoon tune-up massage with HE to get things started. Then I had my fuck buddy come over to the hotel for awhile. I spoke with Jackson about it recently, he acknowledged that it is a bug in the script he wrote that "improves" the prose in posts. This is the script that does things like removes smileys and makes legitimate characters like the ellipsis, which he doesn't like, go away.

Last night was at Chocolate and boy the quality has gone down immensely. I remember over an year ago, I used to take a good 8-9 every night during my stays and then it got down to one every alternate night and then 3 months back, it went down to one during a trip and this time looks none!
The quality of CIS WGs was bad. Bad because I have seen the best too. Barely 5-6 rated; none of them were doable from my standards.
The Afro WGs seem to have been barred from entering the place since I couldn't see any. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday and Sundays have usually been quite. Perhaps, same reason for the 8ers-9ers not being present. I hope so.
The music was nice as usual; price on the drinks haven't changed in almost a year so good on that too.
Haven't touched maggies. Will try tonight.
Any tips on checking out some meat in places other than Chocolate or Maggies would be good.

I spoke with Jackson about it recently, he acknowledged that it is a bug in the script he wrote that "improves" the prose in posts. This is the script that does things like removes smileys and makes legitimate characters like the ellipsis, which he doesn't like, go away.

it's hard to write an expressive post for some of us with only comas and single periods available.yes. as you will learn, jackson has very particular tastes in the content of posts placed into isg. he does not like "web speak", improperly formed english, misspelled words, bad grammar, and the like. he wants the comments to be well written.
he is so particular about this he wrote a script to find the things he personally hates and "corrects" the text. it is heavy handed, but he is the site owner, and overall has provided an exceptional service. i have complained to him about the inclusion of the ellipsis in this set of pet peeves, but he argues that it is sufficiently misused to justify inclusion.
i've learned to live with the restrictions. unfortunately there are bugs too, like the problem with chinese characters. i offered to fix the script for him, but he would not consider it (and i understand his concern).

Was cruising around the Lido and 798 area looking for MP's and there are a PLENTY. Check out where Taipingzhuang middle street is. If you go along there until you are facing a big, wide arch with 4 big red Chinese characters on top, you are at the entrance. I was there tonite. To be honest, its alot better than Huoying, quality wise. There's about 15-20 Mp's in the area but about 10 within the first 100 yards on left after you go through the arch.
I tried out 2 tonite. ALOT of good looking dolls in my opinion. In the first place I went to, I chose a girl maybe 21-22, slim but not too slim, I had a horn just lookin at her in that dress. When you pass the first blue light MP on your right about halfway, its time to stop. There is another one further down on the corner on the right hand side (Definitely my next destination, girls look young a cute). The first one on the left (across the road) is the first place I tried. A nonstarter but VERY sexy girls. Further on around the corner to the left is where I popped in.
These are 4 that I found around here but there are probably more. If you find more please let us know.

TaipingZhuang Middle street starts about 200m north on the right handside. Follow that road all the way until, in front of you is the big arch with the 4 Chinese characters on it. Bingo.
I am not here very long and my Chinese is not good enough for giving taxi drivers addresses, so this is the best advice I can give you mate, sorry.

You could easily find a dark hole to hide in while observing the service providers lounge around the bar and stay their for as long as it took to find someone which suited your tastes. There was also a greater selection.
Still I have to expect it as the one constant about Beijing is that nothing stays the same.

You can filter to ask to only see Women (which is what I did). Once you've found someone you want to try to talk to, you send a very short greeting (about 40 English characters or so. Though the actual number is based on Chinese characters I think) and then the person will either accept to connect with you or not.
On my first evening playing with Weibo I spent about an hour flirting with women who were around my office in Shanghai at 10pm. Hello guys.please no flaming responses, just looking for some help while staying in Beijing. I am 1x a month visitor to HKG, SZx and PVG and know the places and scenery very well in those places. However I am complete newbie in Beijing and given the location of my hotel and hours of workshop / conference I will be attending, I can use some pointers.
I will be staying at Crowne Plaza (Address: No. 106 Zhi Chun Road Hai Dian District Beijing. 100086). I stayed there last year and I swear to god, the hotel is in boon docks and I did not see any possible places to get some action anywhere near that goddamned hotel! I desperately need some help if you know of any places near this hotel.any clubs, pick up bars etc. I know the famous places in BJ such as Maggies, Suzie Wong etc but I doubt I am anywhere close to those places. Also given the BJ traffic, I doubt I can have a successful expedition out to any of these bars and bring home the goodies. During my last year stay, I had to fly in one of regulars from Hong Kong to BJ for 3 days. This time around I want to see some local action.
If anyone has any advice, it will be greatly appreciated.
