Not to be discouraged, walked over to Le Nest. No cover charge. Good DJ playing techno. Setup more like a big pub with most people sitting around in groups on the main floor facing the DJ playing drinking games and getting smashed. I can confirm the JW SOHO shop is good for HJ-type happy endings. Do not make the mistake of going to the one with Thai massage. Upon entering, I was given a menu written in ENglish and Chinese. 70 minute oil massage is 198rmb. I ask for that and get shown to a room upstairs. Nothing fancy but clean. A tall girl, short hair, cute smile, about a 7-7. 5 in looks department came in and motioned for me to change my clothes. She pretty much doesn't speak ENglish other than a few words, a bit like why CHinese. I found out she's 28 years old and goes by the name of Yuenyuen. She started on my back, good technique, strong hands, and eventually pulled my shorts down and kneaded my ass. While doing so I asked how much extras are, she said for a oil happy ending, I'd have to pay her 300 and pay 200 downstairs. I wasn't sure if this was way too much, but I guess it sounded average in the end. (know a guy who is a regular punter in Tiantongyuan and claims to get FS for less that but he's ABC). Anyway I agree and she proceeded. This is #28 that I wrote about two weeks ago, she's delayed her leaving until the end of this month. Price for massage is right, RMB 198. Price to her is RMB 200 to 300 now. Used to be 100 but too many foreigners are happy to 300 to 500 for HJ, so most of the girls in the neighborhood now have a minimum of 200. If you do go back. 200 tip is fine.
About finishing early, she will finish early if either other people are waiting for the room or if she's not sure if you're finished. But usually has no problem at all if you take the shower and tell her to finish the massage. I mean literally tell her "legs" and then "arms" then "head". I regularly go over the 70 minutes.

If not for the girl you mentioned, I wouldn't go to this shop.
For a better price the place at the top of chunxiu lu near dongzhimen is rmb 225 with everything inclusive, better rooms and locking doors. I still prefer Wangjing RMB 168 for HJ and massage but it takes time to get out there.
For a better massage and better HJ, one of the side streets has a professional massage place that gives the best oil massage I've had in Beijing for something like RMB 168. I got a discount card there so get 40% off of that price. HJ is extra 200 tip. Again, used to be 100 tip but too many guys are overpaying. They also do outcall inside 4th ring road. PM me for details.
Hope everyone can stop paying more than 200 for HJ. And stop tipping for anything less that mindblowing service. Even then the girl receiving the tip is probably thinking less "that was for good service" and more "I've been charging foreigners too little".

For a better price the place at the top of chunxiu lu near dongzhimen is rmb 225 with everything inclusive, better rooms and locking doors. I still prefer Wangjing RMB 168 for HJ and massage but it takes time to get out there.
For a better massage and better HJ, one of the side streets has a professional massage place that gives the best oil massage I've had in Beijing for something like RMB 168. I got a discount card there so get 40% off of that price. HJ is extra 200 tip. Again, used to be 100 tip but too many guys are overpaying. They also do outcall inside 4th ring road. PM me for details.

First my aplogy using your post for my clarification, it was in no way intended a personal attack. Everyone here is an adult and I respect all decisions made even I may call them stupid but that is not the purpose of this forum. That is IMHO providing information. So people can decide based on others experiences and not what SP tell them. I amy be naive but thta is my intent. I realise that different experiences and circumstances lead to a better or worse negotiation position. I was only challenging what sounded like me an acceptance of a 500 RMB standard for HJ and I disagree with that.
Of course Guo Mao is one of the most expensive places as is Maggies these days. I do not go there for our hobby because I have better options. These may not be available to everyone for logistical reasons, lack of language etc. I realise that. But I still think it is fair to point out what is possible because it brings others in a favourable negotiation position. That is my POV.
I do not know a place near Guo Mao where you can get FS for what I mentioned and I tried Van Palace and found the service to price ratio not for me but there are FS BBS inside the 3rd ring for these prices, send a PM to the king of BBS, Andreas Wang. The situation in BJ is changing almost daily, prices have gone up, regulation is stricter to some extent so the choice now is pay up or get to know the rules of the game here better for getting much much better service at much less prices. But again whatever rocks anyones boat is fine with me.
Now I better go to visit my 200 RMB 22 year old Shandong sweetheart because I need bust a nut. But that is indeed not in Beijing, sorry.

Arrived in Beijing yesterday 20/4 for a few days, seems there are not many options here for a lone ranger like myself.
Last night hit the clubs at Workers' Stadium North Gate, Vics, Mix and Le Nest.
Vics was heaving with a mix of Chinese and foreigners, including a sprinkling of the odd middle eastern, indian and african punter. Didn't spot any FLs but there were a couple of eastern european-looking older girls who might have been 'looking'. Saw the odd cute girl but they seemed to be either in a mixed group or in a pair but it didn't seem they were open to being 'fished'. There was a group of 3 Chinese girls who were a little drunk on the narrow and small elevated dance floor, saw the taller one speaking to a Chinese guy on the way out. Cover charge RMB50, jack and cokes were RMB40, very liberal on the booze and served in a big tall glass. Mix was a cool club, split into 2 sections. A hip hop section and a techno / pop section. Both sections were full with groups at tables. Seems to be a trend in Beijing of booking a table and loading it with loads and loads of booze (a cannon plus more than 10 bottles) and mixers (dozens and dozens of cans) and drinking only a fraction of it. Cover charge RMB50, jack and cokes were RMB45, also very liberal on the booze. Didn't spot any FLs here either but there were 2 Chinese girls with a Chinese guy at the bar, caught glances at one of the girls but they didn't seem open to being 'fished' either. Later on will head to Maggies, which I hear is popular with Mongolian FLs after 12 am. Any Beijing old hands who can recommend a good quality FS sauna / bathing house here, would be much appreciated. From China world tower, walk past the French bakery towards Silk Street and you walk past the building after about 500m.
I didn't realise there were 2 spas there though. I go up the escalator, turn around and it's in the corner.
I will look for the other one for sure.

Try looking to see if your connection allows for a L2TP type connection. I use that with my OPENVPN and I can connect no problem. It cuts out from time to time, but 90% reliable.

Yes in general tipping a hooker in China makes no sense, we agree on that. Same as overpaying. China is not the States and has no tipping culture as such. Also tipping someone you will never see again and probably already levied the foreigner tax on you is stupid. People asking for tips are even worse, do not deal with them.
However I did tip once or twice for exceptional service, I treat the ladies with courtesy and sometimes go out tip them with a dinner or small gift. And I never regretted it. Doing these things in the right way can go along way, especially in China where trust and connection (I not want call this a relationship) is so difficult to get, especially as foreigner. You will get the reward on the next visit, especially from people who do not have much in terms of money or affection.
But again most people believe throwing money around or tipping can get the same results and yes, that certainly does not work. If I buy an ice-cream and pay twice the price it is not cool. Price expectations in BJ especially in M are insane and certainly no need to tip here.
But again BBB did not do this and again you do not know the whole story. He is much more clever than he seems.

I had some free time today so I thought I'd check this place out. From Chaoyang Park (where I live near) it is quite a long haul. Because of the great directions from earlier posts, I was able to find this area very easily! There are many mp / bbs ripe for the pickin'! As a matter of fact, tipping in America is now used as a replacement for wages to offload more of the salary an employee makes directly to the customer. It has lost its original intent and meaning. You think I am BS'ing? What is the hourly wage of people in restaurants? It is the only profession you can legally pay less than the minimum wage. Why? Because in the service industry in the US, everyone knows waiters make it all back in tips and the federal government knows people who earn tips under report their earnings, so they assume you earn at least a minimum amount in tips. Why? Because tips are considered wages.

There were no 'extra' fees paid to the front desk. I never pay for extras at the desk in China apart from at Van Palace where it seems to be the normal way (They do that in Hong Kong where you pay the desk and not the girl)

If I may add some perspective to your perspective.
Not everyone visiting the Guomao MPs lives in Guomao. I know of one guy who was commuting there from the Olympic Park area of the north 4th ring road, passing right by WangJing on his way there. Another guy I've met was going to Guomao MPs lives near Chaoyang Park, exactly 1/2 way between GM & WJ.
Regarding taxi fare between GM & WJ, I'd estimate it at around rmb25, a bit more or less depending on where in Guomao and, of course, traffic. Round trip, should be closer to 50 than 160. For those less concerned with time, subway fare will cost exactly rmb4 round trip. WJ MP prices range from 160-198 for the oil massage. Accordingly, cost for a trip to WJ XC from Guomao area should range between rmb164 (subway & least expensive MP) to rmb250 or so, all in.
Regarding overall cost, your equation neglects to add any additional fee to the girl, usually a prerequisite in GM. In WJ the price includes HJ and typically more. Sometimes, much more. This is, for me, more of an annoyance than a cost issue. I dislike the "a la carte" attitude; additional 100 for this. 200 more for that, etc.
Having said that, for me the attraction is the attitude of the MP management and "technicians" (as they're known in Chinese). I won't go into detail about that, but I think others on the board who've been to a few of these places know what I'm talking about. Recently I discovered an MP at the back of the Twin Towers near Guomao. This could be convenient for those who work or live near the CBD.
The place is on Yong An Li Zhong Jie, about 150 meters south of Yong An Xi Li.
I went in without knowing what was available and took the 138 Japanese oil massage.
It was pretty obvious from the look of the place, something extra was available.
After some 20 minutes of massage, the girl offered HJ with 3 add-on options. Cheapest was hundred something, maybe 168, which is just a HJ. 268 for HJ and freely touch. And 368 for getting naked and breast massage.
I opted for 268 and the girl then proceeded to massage my ass, groin and finally release. During the process I was able to touch and finger her freely. She was in no hurry and told me she can massage it slowly, keep it hard until whenever I wanted to release.
She told me that to save money, next time I can just go straight to the HJ. 268 only.
There is no negotiation on the price, seems very standard and also paid at the front desk, no need for tip to the girl. Also they take UnionPay cards if you don't have cash, not sure about Visa.
Now, the girl I had was not young nor that good looking, but did have great breasts and knew how to give a good HJ. Haven't seen any other girls. From the board at the reception, they have about 5-7 girls on duty.

Maybe I can add some comments.
I've been to many MPs in Guomao, WJ and Maizidian.
Guomao is by far the most expensive, but also have the best environment. Note that there is also no guarantee that extras will be offered. Cheapest is 200 CNY per hour for oil massage and 200 minimum tip on top and not all allow touching, but you do get a very good massage. All the girls are neatly presented. But you are looking at 400-500 for a HJ.
WJ gives the most guaranteed result for the cheapest price, but it is a bit to travel. This is not a problem for me as my office is located near there. The girls there are okay, but some may rush the job and really the massage is so so. Environment is just acceptable. Maximum 200 for a HJ.
Maizidian is somewhere in between. 150-200 CNY per hour for oil massage and 100-200 tip on top, but at least you get the full hour and good massage. The rooms are clean, but small. About 300-400 for a HJ.
When it comes down to it, you get what you pay for and where it is convenient for you.
I've had really good experiences from all three areas, but I do feel Guomao prices are a bit high for a HJ.
Other place that I have found to be good are on Chunxiu Lu (best one used to be 300, now 400, which makes it less appealing).
I've only ever found WJ MPs to have HJ standard included in the oil massage, all other places have to tip / pay extra. Please tell me otherwise.
I guess this is the biggest plus for WJ, you don't have to negotiate, there is no break in the massage routine, it just flows.
As a rough guide on the tip.
If oil massage is under 150, tip is 100.
If oil massage is between 150 and 200, tip is 100 or 200.
If oil massage is 200 or above, tip is 300.
If I may add some perspective to your perspective.
Not everyone visiting the Guomao MPs lives in Guomao. I know of one guy who was commuting there from the Olympic Park area of the north 4th ring road, passing right by WangJing on his way there. Another guy I've met was going to Guomao MPs lives near Chaoyang Park, exactly 1/2 way between GM & WJ.
Regarding taxi fare between GM & WJ, I'd estimate it at around rmb25, a bit more or less depending on where in Guomao and, of course, traffic. Round trip, should be closer to 50 than 160. For those less concerned with time, subway fare will cost exactly rmb4 round trip. WJ MP prices range from 160-198 for the oil massage. Accordingly, cost for a trip to WJ XC from Guomao area should range between rmb164 (subway & least expensive MP) to rmb250 or so, all in.
Regarding overall cost, your equation neglects to add any additional fee to the girl, usually a prerequisite in GM. In WJ the price includes HJ and typically more. Sometimes, much more. This is, for me, more of an annoyance than a cost issue. I dislike the "a la carte" attitude; additional 100 for this. 200 more for that, etc.
Having said that, for me the attraction is the attitude of the MP management and "technicians" (as they're known in Chinese). I won't go into detail about that, but I think others on the board who've been to a few of these places know what I'm talking about. When I first moved to Beijing years ago I tried a few places in Guomao but felt that the girls got very jaded very quickly. There is, as they say, no accounting for taste, but I had much better experiences in WJ than in Guomao MPs.
Perhaps someone who's visited a few MPs in both places recently can add more insight to this thread?

1. It should not cost 80rmb to get to WJ from Guomao. It should cost an average of 50rmb in normal traffic from past experience. So a round trip would cost approx. 100rmb if you catch a cab both ways. Since you can get a basic HJ there for under 200rmb, it's still worth it since you can pay anywhere from 400-500 rmb for a basic HJ in the Guomao area. It is wasted time that puts me off heading to WJ. But if you're a single guy, you probably have lots of it.
2. A basic HJ in WangJing area often means fully bared titties included if you ask politely. In the Guomao region, you often have to pay more money to see titties. (extra 100-200rmb)
3. The WangJing places are operated BBS-style. So your HJ is inclusive which is always a better deal. In Guomao, it's never inclusive. You have to negotiate and personally, I hate having to do this every time with a new girl or new place.
4. Small tips (100rmb?) in WJ area allow for fully naked HJs with your hands free to explore as you like. They always ask extra (making a grand total of 600-800rmb for a HJ) for this near town.
5. It helps that WJ is dominated by Koreans who are often on less spectacular packages (compared to Western countries). This helps explain the lower tip expectations.
6. I don't feel that paying more near Guomao provides any guarantee of better service. Often the service standards are comparable. Heck, for more than double the price, I'd expect better satisfaction but this is not often the case.
7. I miss the BBS experience. At least you can pick a girl you think looks acceptable. When you're new to MPs, you have to go through the routine of meeting unattractive ladies and poor service before you find something decent. I'd rather go through that experience at half the price if I had the option. You don't get to choose (while they sit around) at MPs.

In fact, I think the "Hunanese Cartel" merits some credit for the cost effectiveness of WJ MPs. All of the MPs discussed here are operated by this group of brothers / sisters / cousins. While there is some variation between them, they all have similar "cultures" & business practices. Other MPs in WJ have to compete against them, so tend to follow their style.
If you live near Guomao there are one-price alternatives that are a bit closer to you. These places have showers and the girls sit out front so you can pick. I'll send you a pm with details.
In my experiences girls rarely ask for tips in WJ. Many girls try hard to make you happy so that you will come back; the most successful have a constant stream of visitors who request them. This means they try hard (no pun intended) to satisfy. It also means, though, that the most attractive and / or best service girls are in highest demand. You are less likely to get one of them if you walk in and take whoever is assigned. Accordingly, I suggest always requesting a specific girl, even if you have no idea who it is. Randomly picking one off the board (the one with the little balls with girls numbers on it) will yield a better probablility of getting better service / looks. Better still, you can simply ask the hostess for advice (ietall, best service, best massage, prettiest, etc). No need to be shy; they know why you're there and they've heard it all before.

Got the 1. 5 hour massage with #5. She insisted that fully naked HJ was 800 and that BBB and the other guy who'd visited before me had paid 800.
