I made a quick one-night trip to Chongqing last week. As Erik reported recently, Chongqing is really one of the most sexually open cities in China. I was last in Chongqing about six years ago and things have certainly changed a lot.

On this particular trip I stayed at the Marriott and a few minutes after I got into my room I saw a name card on the floor by the door. I didn’t notice it when I walked in and I suspect it was slipped in under the door after I had entered the room. It turned out to be a business card from Angel Escort Services, which suggests that it has been arranged by some hotel staff. The agency’s main phone number is (023) 6384-4341 while the contact person Zhou Li’s number is 6382-8359. It also gives an address at Room 3008, New Oriental Women’s Square, although no street address is available. The card says that young girls are available to accompany you on sight seeing, shopping, social engagements or simply to talk with you. I called up Ms Zhou and was told that the agency charges 200 yuan for its service and tips are to be negotiated directly with the girl, with a minimum of 200 yuan.

After I hanged up I decided to check out the street action. Just as Erikl says, many hair salons openly tout sex to passers-by and they are distinguished by turning on a red fluorescent light near the door. These salons are really all over the place but in certain neighbourhoods such as the Nanan and Yuzhong districts you can easily find 20-30 of them on one block, often five to six in a row. Among them you will also find the straight salons which have the normal white fluorescent tubes. They red-light salons apparently open 24 hours a day, and although many of them will shut down after three in the morning they will certainly let you in if you knock on their doors, as many of the girls actually live upstairs, perhaps in the same rooms where they offer their services.

I cruised around in a taxi late at night, and one of the pimps at one place even opened the cab door and tried to invite me out to take a closer look at his girls. Prices are really quite cheap. One salon advertises its rates on a board outside: 50 yuan for a massage and 80 for a Hongkong-style oil rub which I’m sure includes a handjob, because the girl there told me that a full service is only 130 yuan which is about US$15. You can also take the girls away with you, presumably at a premium. I simply cruised around to do an investigation and did not give them any business. Although the girls are generally quite young (late teens to early 20s) and are of reasonable quality (mostly 6-7 with occasional ones at 8), I suspect they tend to work too hard without proper protection. They also tend to be country girls without any sophistication in interpersonal relations, though some may be well trained in the art of love.

After a quick tour of about one hour around several neighbourhoods in the city I decided to go back to the hotel. At one corner of the lobby, just behind the registration desk, I saw a sign advertising a sauna place. It is located on the 7/F (the hotel probably occupies the ground floor to the third floor, and then the tenth floor to the top. The fourth to ninth floors are apparently used for offices, and they have another entrance at the back of the building, though a corridor connects the office entrance to the hotel lobby through a shopping arcade. They also use different elevators). It seems to be a suite-only sauna, with standard suites at about 200 yuan a session (of 45 minutes) plus massage service of 160 yuan, and luxury suites at about 280 yuan and 180 yuan, respectively, exclusive of tips for the masseuses. According to the waiter, tips are generally 600-1,000 yuan. That means a full service for two sessions would come to about 1,800 yuan, which is very expensive. The place is certainly very well furnished, new and very clean. The suites are quite big and are furnished like a hotel room with a proper king sized bed rather than the standard narrow massage bed. There are also sofas and TV and all that. The bathroom consists of a large Jacuzzi (enough for two at least), a toilet and a sauna room. They can also send their girls up to your room, for a flat rate of 1,200 yuan, which is still not that attractive.

I went back down and noticed a White House (yes, as in the White House of Washington) Nightclub at the basement. Again it is a nicely furnished place but very expensive. A standard karaoke room costs 1,200 yuan. Interestingly, the hotel’s directory completely omits these two establishments. Perhaps they are really not related to the hotel. Anyway I was not that desperate to spend that much money, and decided to called Ms Zhou for help, knowing that as a last resort I could still call the sauna place for an in-room service.

Happily, Ms Zhou promised to send me a girl in 10-15 minutes for 750 yuan for the whole night. Now that’s a more reasonable deal and indeed barely 10 minutes later a young girl came knocking on my door. Yang Yan stands about 5’3” and is well built with tits of about 33C or better. She wears absolutely no make-up, not even a touch of lipstick, but she’s clearly confident that she’s pretty in a “girl-next-door” way. I have to confess that her eyes and lips are very much like those of my first girlfriend, but I like her instantly because she has an extremely pleasant personality. She told me that she has just left school and is working for a travel agency. She will turn 20 next month and hopes to go to university.

Anyway sex with her was very relaxed and enjoyable. We showered together first and then went to bed for extensive foreplays before I entered her. Sounds like you had a good time.

Nothing wrong with giving alittle extra if the girl is deserving. What we generally dislike is paying high prices for standard or less than standard service.

If you liked the girl, go ahead and pay her more. There might be incentive for her to be as good to the next customer, which is a bonus for the rest of us.

Ultimately, it's best to reward GREAT service, rather than NORMAL service. Make it like a tip, which is what most established places refer to it as. You don't tip more for crap service, so don't pay a hooker/escort more money for the same service.

Just some thoughts on this page's messages

Erik: H/jobs and such are very common thoughout China in Barber shops. Out of the 6 girls one sees maybe only 1 or 2 will give full service, the others are younger and not so experienced and are there to lure the punter in. However this is not the rule but is generally the case in my exp.

ChrisC30: There is a lot of nonsense about prices spoken here. Even in Beijing 90% of the clientel are chinese, in other cities probably 99.9%. It is impossible for a lone laowai to drive up prices. One should pay what one thinks the 'sex' is worth. To a rich old man a 18yo is worth much more than to a young 21yo guy. Personally it i want sex than i pay want is asked within reasonble limits of course.

General: Kindness towards anyone is worthwhile and should be encouraged. For many of the girls spoken about within the China section (not the major cities hotels) having sex with a westerner is a once in a lifetime experience, and here we are quibbling over a few 100RMB's, which as we all know is just a few beers in the Hardrock cafe. Your meanness will be remembered by her far longer than you will remember her.

My advise (from experience) : in Chongqing, you can easily find a fine young and beautifull girl for 200 Y. Negociate BJ beforehand. Plus just a 30 Y tip for taxi if she comes to your hotel. (you can cross Chongqing from west to east by taxi for 20Y).

Please don't misunderstand me. I don't like bargaining with the girls myself, but we have to keep their expectations reasonable. After all, there are harder ways to make a lot less money.

Sorry, I don' t quite agree with on one point : what I would like to make people understand is that China IS also a country of cheap sex. In the "little" towns (ie county head cities, 1 or 2 million inhabitants), for one girl picked up from a barbershop, you currently pay 100 ot 150 Y for the girl, plus 30 Y "taifei" to the shop. Total = around 500 to 750 Bath = cheaper than the current average ST rate in Thailand. In ethnic border areas, you may pay prices comparable to those in Cambodia. This is not allways very easy to find, you need to be curious, search and preferably speak chinese, but that is part of the fun. It is just not true that China has an up-market only sex industry.
Even in big cities, when a girl wants 1000 Y, tell her that you know some barbershops where you can have girls for 200 Y, and her price will drop to 500. Of course, she will tell you that these girls are dirty and make a lot of customers, but that is not always true. In Chongqing, I have talked to several 18, 19 year old girls who should be at school, and just because they feel bored, want (or need) money and to get some excitment, they show up from time to time in the barbershop owned by their friend, to pick a customer or two.

You right about Chongqing. I was there to check up woovictor's comments. The girls should really be in school and they are on the line once a while to earn some pocket money and enjoy sex; sometimes.

Upon arriving in Chengdu, I wondered, why there were SOOO many salons and tea shops, and yet, I only say businessmen, random guys and police officers hanging out there.

If you can speak a little Chinese, you can definitely cash in on the action. Even if you're just foreign and you step into an establishment, be prepared to be led to the back room for "massage". Below are some details.

If you're in the Chengdu and your bored, wander down a side street, almost any in the whole city. I've explored northern, eastern and western all the way down to Sichuan University, Second Ring Rd. to Second Ring Rd.
Many Beauty Sallons (especially with the pink light and many girls, but no customers), Massage parlors, Kareoke, and Tea Shops are all great places to expect some below the waist service.

Here are some hot spots:
From Er Huan Lu, go south down Sha Wan Lu.
Pass the HuiZhan Chaoshi (market) on the right and walk south another block to a small 4 way intersection with a light. Turn right and start your adventure. You'll pass a couple adult products stores, pass through a poorly lit block and then enter an area wear there's obvious ass for sale. There's various massage parlors offering cheap (30 to 50 Y per hour) massage with a tip of 50 to 100 per BJ or 100 to 200 to nail that tightness! Wow, and it's tight!
I've discussed prices with some chinese "gentlemen" walking out of these joints, had little ON the SPOT interviews, and heard they get to hit it for dirt cheap. Another spot. DixiaShangChang (underground market) downtown. Most of it is legitimate, but enter in front of Xiongmao Cheng (panda town). IT's all kareoke rooms w/ beds and tv's, "tea boths", a locked dancing rooms. Go at night. It's fun!

Other tips:

College girls:
Undergrads in Chengdu tend not to give it up! Graduate students will spread it, but don't think you're going to date 18 to 21 Y/O college students and get anywhere fast.

D-ba (disco) and International bars: Both are way to expensive many are 40 to 50 Y just to get in.
Plus taxi, hotel, drink, and girl fees.. after that, you've spent a lot of money and for what?.. to cum 1 or 2 times? Not worth it. there are plenty of hotties for cheap.

Chongqing... Stayed at the Marriott for two days last week. City is changing all of the time. Almost all of the barbershops around the Marriott are now gone(since last January) and high rises are under construction. So, I checked out the resources in the hotel and the other services available.

As I walked around the hotel, some guy gave me a card for the Emperor Commercial Service Center... a real catchy name! But, the card said... "Give you Girls Commercial Service"... This I understood. So I called, 13038398677. I was told a girl was 300 RMB. I was on the executive floor which requires a key in the elevator to access the floor, so I was shocked to hear a knock on the door 15 minutes later. Two cute young girls came in and so I was faced with a decision of 2 for 600 RMB or the cutest one for 300 RMB. I opted for the cute one alone and it was worth every yi jiao!

Later, I took a tour of the sauna/massage center on the 7th floor someone mentioned in an earlier post. As reported, you can get a VIP suite with double bed/sauna/whirlpool and a girl for a total of about 1,200 RMB, 580 RMB for the room and about 600 RMB (up to a 1,000) for the girl. I don't know what causes the price for the girl to go up. I asked to see the girls and was shown three very cute girls and I got the idea that they had many, many more available. The actual name of the S/M center is Offshore Power Club. I guess the Marriott doesn't want to be associated with it.

Later, I spoke with two of the young girls working at the White House nightclub/KTV in the basement. They told me that you don't have to take a room to have a girl come to your room. So, the next night, I went down and met one of the mamasans, Kitty Song. She escorted me to another bar in the back and brought out 6 girls. One was very cute and I picked her. As I waited for her to change clothes, Kitty told me that they had 60 girls working, but not all were available to go to the room. The cost was 600 RMB for the house and the girl gets 1,200 RMB(2,500 for the night)... not cheap, but very easy. The girl accompanies you to your room via an elevator in the back.

You must have had better luck than us. We found Chengdu pretty much the other way. Most of the REAL action has been run out to the outskirts of the city. Again we found it to be opposite. We had some taxi drivers take us around to some mommies.. but they didn't want anything to do with foreigners. Keep in mind I'm average Chinese height so I shouldn't present the 'big foreigner, big dick' thought. My two friends are Chinese-Americans and one speaks fluent Chinese.

The ones on the outskirt that would do foreigners wanted to jack the rate from 150rmb to 400+.

Thanks for the info, we'll try these out next time. I'm not sure if this is some of the places our taxi driver took us or not.

We only stayed in Chegdu a couple of nites because we found it 'dead' in comparison to action we have found elsewhere in China. Chongqing was much more open and girls/mommies seemed much friendlier than in Chengdu.

There is a city about an hour outside of Chengdu with lots of action. It is actually a little tourist city that families go to but there are lots of brothels there each with several girls. Rooms are 25-50yuan for the whole night. They bring girls to you and you pick what you want. Sex is 100-125. All night is 150-200. It is a great place to go and spend a day or 2. You can take a bus there for about 8 yuan. If you can't speak chinese or you dont have a chinese friend to take you there then forget it. The place is called Huanglongxi. I'll trade more information about it if someone will give me good information about action in Chengdu.

I wish I could tell you more about Chengdu, but I really did not find any interesting scene out there, apart from the airport. There are a few massage places just at the gate of the airport, with male pimps calling you as you pass on the road. I have been once and had BJ and sex for about 200 by a sexy Sichuan chick. For me, chengdu is nothing compared to Chongqing.

Just go to the JieFangBei (Liberation Monument) area in the evening and wander around for a while or sit on a bench, and many people will come up to you with business cards for massage / escort / kareoke services. Most speak no english though and I doubt any girls will speak any english at all. I can speak chinese ok but not good. I was there a couple weeks ago and after about 10 people approached me I finally said ok bring a girl to me right now. The guy asked how much I would pay and I said 300 yuan. The girl came and she was really cute so we went to my hotel and it was very fun. She ended up taking off the next 2 days to hang out with me but I gave her about 300/day buying her stuff and shopping so it wasnt free. She said to keep a girl the whole day would normally be 800 yuan. If you dont have a room, many places have rooms to go to. Because of SARS rooms are really cheapright now, I was paying 160 yuan for a nice room at the WeiXianLou Hotel which is a 2 minute walk from the Monument.
As far as 100/200 yuan sex goes I have no idea where to get that in ChongQing. I didnt see any pink-lighted barbor shops anywhere near downtown.

True... Action in Chengdu is not as great as Chongqing or eastern Chinese cities. I went traveling thoughout the west: to Xining, Lanzhou, Kunming, Chongqing and back to Chengdu. I returned to find many, as many as 50% of the nearby "hot spot" sallons and teahouses closed. This seems to confirm my point that they are undercover brothels.

If you're coming for to China for sex, then don't even bother coming to Chengdu. You've gotta be skilled or handsome to find a hottie here. Go to Chongqing, show your western face, and take off your pants fast! It's that easy.

Here¡'s an approach: Go over to the Tianfu Guangchang ¨C Chunxi Lu area. It¡¯s full of pretty chicks all day long. Find a beautiful girl walking alone, walk up beside her, and say something silly or classy. I almost always have a conversation (meaning I don¡¯t get snubbed), and 30 or 40 percent of the time it¡¯s one leading to a future ¡°bed date¡±. Well, since I had no reply to my request for an update on the scene in Chengdu, I had to come here and figure it out myself.
There is no shortage of action. I found the BBS situation to be as laowai described. The shops are everywhere. I found a lane off of Kehuabei Lu between the Jian Zhong Hotel and Sichuan University with about 7-8 shops full of very good quality talent. Although they started at 300-400, I managed FS for 150RMB. Full body tongue bath and BBBJ, followed by anyway I wanted it with absolutely no rush. I am pleased to report it is also business as usual on Shawan Lu and adjoining streets all the way up to the California Hotel. These are just to name a couple of concentrated areas.

I recommend the Sauna in the Water Hotel, 21st Floor. I cannot remember the road, but it is in the center of town, but not on one of the main roads. 2 hours with FS in a VIP room with steam and a huge jacuzzi tub for 500RMB. Need I say more?

Reporting on Chengdu.

Shawanlu : Several red lit barbershops, but seems you can only get HJ in there. Cute young girls, but not willing to do anything else than HJ.

Alley near Jianzhong hotel : Thanks to OldAsianHand, I have discovered this great place. Half a douzen not red lit barbershops which offer full service. Selection is OK. They all have (dirty)private rooms upstairs or nearby. Difficult to negociate FS for under 250 Y. BJ is posible but you often need to insist kindly but firmly. Also, the girls don't leave the premisses easily. I managed to have a girl come to my hotel at night, but only after she has finished work, because she had given me her mobile phone number the first time and would trust me.
All in all, not as sexy and open an atmosphere as in Chongqing, but definitly the best place in Chengdu at the moment, as far as I know.

Huanglongxi : an old traditional village about 50 km south Chengdu. Busses direct (1 hour 15 mn trip) or indirect (2 hours trip), depending from which bus station you take it. Actually, the place is better for a day out in a charming old chinese village than for sex. Cheap and clean room for less thatn 50 Y. This is not a ***** village as you hear sometime. Not quite the Svai Pak I was described. It is indeed very easy to have a girl in your room at night and I visited a place to drink tea by the river, actually a brothel with ST room, but did not see any beauty. Could have had ST for 150. However, I was there in the afternoon. Maybe at night selection is better.

I fund this hotel call "New City Hotel" near my office got a KTV on 2nd FL...their got girls in the KTV will go with you to your room.I went there a few time they have about 10 to 15 girls there you can pick from and it work like this. Reporting from Chengdu, views that this town are dead are grossly exagerated. First, the Sichuan girls are an attractive lot. Often short and with nice bodies. Accessibility is easy if you follow the WSG and your instincts.

I walked looking for the Holiday Inn and found a street with 7 barbershops. The first one quickly turned into a 300 RMB GFE negotiated with pointing to the Y. Enthusiastic FS.

We are not competing in the same category. You must be an expat with comfortable salary. I am a tourist. That is why I still prefer Chongqing over Chengdu. There, there is very good selection of Sichuanese (the best girls in all China) for 200 Y in your hotel including BJ.
In Chengdu, I agree with someone who told here earlier that Jiulong department store, near Tianfu square, should be an excellent place for hunt. If you like the sensation of these hundred of girls shopping cloths on several levels, you must go there. It reminded me of a big store in Shibuya, Tokyo, with hundred or even thousands of trendy young girls shopping alone or in small groups.

My trip was a great one since I only had a small window that business would allow, Monday through Sunday. The UA deal fit perfectly. Since I’m on the subject of timelines I will add that Sunday in Chengdu is totally different comparing with my Midwest city. Things are not closed and girls work too. They work seven days a week and Sunday is definitely a day for making more money for most of the city. (God, I love those Chinese.) I would not recommend Chengdu as a quickie because it’s a big city, it is not easy getting around just a few days, and there is lots of tourist type structure. It is definitely a local friend could show you the mongering paradise ( or you understand some Chinese). People love to help you out when they find out they are happy to dealing with a foreigner tourist (some of them do know a little English).

At the Chengdu International airport(a tiny one), jumped in the first taxi and off we went. I asked how much. He said RMB100. I told him no way RMB 60 and he was happy. I did exchange some money and I hate starting my trips off haggling with a fucking taxi driver. The airport is out in the fields about 15-20 minutes away. Its pretty much flat farm land until you get into the city. Did I feel scared, not really. I gauge things more now not on what I read or hear from the news or the government but more of how I see the locals react. The night was cool and the air is clean and fresh. The city had your average mid-large size feel to it. As soon as you get into town you are inundated with taxis, cars, motorcycles, and bikes(millions of them) flying around like rats. Chengdu has lots of construction sites which cause some air quality problem. After a quick fifteen-minute drive we pulled up to the hotel.

I stayed at Holiday Inn which is fucking expensive for Chinese standard. It is a good 5 star hotel, manicured entrance way with bell boys waiting out front, marble floors, and tastefully decorated interior. The ladies that worked there were beautiful, spoke minimal English, and were nice as hell. They had the best website out of the ones recommended. There is a sauna/message place at the basement which cost you RMB250 for a message and extra RMB400 for full service. I don’t recommend this place for veterans because you could find same quality service for less than half that price at any barbershop. For those new in mongering, this is a really nice kick area.

I jumped into a taxi my first night and instructed him to take me somewhere I could have “fun”. He said he knew just the place and took me to a “massage parlor” about 40 minutes from my hotel. It is definitely an upscale place but pretty affordable place. After pulling up from the street, you will see a large gate. My taxi honked his horn and a guy came out to open the gate. I was subsequently let in to a fairly nice looking house and a “mama-san” type directed me to a little waiting area and gave me a menu to browse. There must have been at least 10 different types of massages described ranging in price from RMB100 and up. A standard, full-service, hour-long massage with a chick of your choice was RMB250. As I was checking out the menu, I look through the waiting room window(kind of like a window shopping at mall), and there were about 10 chicks sitting there. The girls ranged from 4 to solid 8’s on my subjective rating scale....

I have a dentist in Chengdu that is very good. A root canal with a three-tooth bridge and another epoxy filling were done for a total of five hundred dollars. Here it would have cost $3500.00 minimum. I just had a bridge reglued and a temp filling here it was one hundred fifty roughly. A friend had dental work done in this clinic too. He was told would cost $4000 in States I think it cost him $450 here. A crown is about $75 I think. If a person does not have dental insurance it could be worth a trip to this dental clinic. I just got back from ChongQing and must say that although I have very good experiences with ChengDu girls that CQ girls are fantastic.

And I agree with John Siron, I have seen the best breasts in China from Sichuan girls.

After years of lurking I'm finally putting in my first post. Having lived in Chengdu for over a year, I've had quite a mix of experiences. Reporting on everything would be rather excessive so I'll try to summarize.

Chapter 1: The Discos. In 2002, had a good winning streak at Kakadu (found freebie all-nighters 3 times in a row) but then my luck turned bad and I couldn't find anything. Eventually found two more gals who became semi-regular freebies. In 2004, found mostly for-money deals at Top One, 200 or 300 rmb for ST or LT (all-nighter). Also found a freebie all-nighter at Top One. None of the above spoke English so my Chinese improved fast. Phone numbers are very easy to get, but often lead nowhere. Had many bizarre experiences, like the girl who invited me to sleep with her, then finding out that "sleep" really means "sleep". Some friends of mine prefer Age of Red but I've never found anything there. Different strokes for different folks.

Chapter 2: The Girlfriend. One of my 3 scores at Kakadu became more or less my girlfriend. It was one of those dramatic "laowai falls in love with a xiaojie" stories. I could write a book about it, including episodes about secretly folllowing her, meeting her parents, suicide interventions, taking pictures together in the park, finding condoms in her trash, you name it. The short story is that she was very charming but I was bothered by her constant lying, trying to hide her life as a KTV girl from me, and trying to manipulate me into a more serious relationship than I want. We fought a lot and broke up, later becoming friends, but I need to keep some distance so as not to get trapped.

Chapter 3: The BBSs: ST FS is readily available for 150 or 200 rmb, if you know where to go. (If they insist on 200, try to negotiate with whomever seems to be in charge that next time should be 150. Don't go over 200.) The small side street just south of the Jian Zhong hotel (as mentioned on this board) is good, especially the shop with a green and white barber pole, next to a DVD shop. I also found a nice place near Chunxi Lu, not easy to describe how to get there. The girls there are from Chongqing I believe, sort of the girl-next-door types, not slutty-looking, maybe rating 6 or 7. I like them because they're nice people. Note that, unlike western mongering havens like Amsterdam, girls in many of these shops are picky, they only do the guys they like, and speaking some Chinese seems to be essential. FYI, the vast majority of BBSs don't seem to be set up for FS, having no private rooms, but who knows, they may have private rooms nearby. When exploring, try to find BBSs with private rooms, or just get a low-end 50 rmb massage and then during the massage be nice to the girl and then bring up the topic of extras, or at least wait until you're in a room alone with a girl before you bring up this topic. I have no info on BJs since I tend not to do that.

Chapter 4: The KTVs: Didn't explore this much as it seems relatively expensive and more suited for a group, not a lone mongerer. I did make friends with a manager in one KTV on Kehua Bei Lu (the one marked "Disco") and he hooked me up with a gal for ST who I brought home, and she was a really bad lay for 800 rmb. Went back a couple days later and had the exact same experience with another gal, so, no more KTV girls for me. If you want to blow lots of cash, the KTV at MGM is the top of the line. I went once with a friend for a line-up, then didn't choose any girl and we left, none of the girls having given me a good feeling (but I only saw them briefly).

Chapter 5: The Saunas: "Ou shi" ("european style") seems to be the code word for massage with HJ. If you ask them up front what it is, they'll just say it's an oil massage. This can run you 300 rmb or so for 90 minutes. If you're into HJ, saunas offer a nice alternative to BBSs if you like a nice environment. If you ask for Chinese-style, Thai-style, or anything with an oriental name, chances are it's just legit massage, but this can vary. I know one sauna with FS, and I never found out until I had been there many times and eventually made friends with a Chinese guy who is a regular there. Without that connection, they seem to make it difficult to find out it's available. Basically, on top of the 50 rmb or so sauna fee, you need to pay about 150 for a hotel style room and 400 to the girl, totaling 600 for ST. While the environment was great, the lay was average, so I didn't go back and do that again. I'm not sure whether to give the name of the place because they seem to want to be discreet. Another sauna I found offers two massage options, one with HJ, and another where the women gets naked and rubs you all over with her body, or so I understand. I didn't try the latter option because I think she was giving me a bogus price, she quoted me some number over 300 rmb and I suspect it's less. I should go back there with a Chinese friend. This sauna is a smaller one and I don't remember the name. The larger ones are HaiLan, XinTianDi, FuLiGong, and Camp David. The saunas in the major hotels probably offer FS but at a hefty price.

Chapter 6: The Bars: Carol's and Shamrock are the top hangouts for laowais and girls seeking laowais. I avoid those places unless friends want to go. They tend not to be xiaojies, more like girls who want to "catch" a foreigner. I'm not into those games. There's an interesting bar called One Way Club near the Carrefour on Babao Jie. The patrons are usually just Chinese, mainly mid-20's on up, an older and classier crowd than the discos. The reputation is that there's a lot of married Chinese looking for lovers or one night stands. You might find some same-night action, or maybe get some phone numbers that lead to next-day action or something. Some friends of mine have had some luck finding freebies, mostly via getting phone numbers, at Empty Bottle, which seems to be packed every night, mostly Chinese clientele, and many are open to chatting casually with foreigners. Personally, I don't find freebies as often, I'm not sure why, but I think you can find a lot of opportunity if you go down the looks scale or up the age scale a bit. I've found that young, good-looking girls tend to expect to be taken care of in some way, e.g., taking them shopping. Also, if you're looking for bars with xiaojies, the high-end would be the Rainbow Crown nightclub adjacent to the Crowne Plaza (3-8-1.2 as I recall, meaning 300 rmb for a gal to sit with you, 800 for ST, 1200 for all night; the sit-with-you fee should be waived if you take her out for ST or LT), and you can find cheaper (e.g., 2-5-8) at some smaller hotels, e.g., the bar in Chongqing Cygnet hotel. I never tried it but I know because my girlfriend worked those places.

Chapter 7: The Streets: I've never found SWs in Chengdu. I did approach a woman on the street who I had seen in a legit massage place (I waited for her outside after my massage was done). She turned out to be married but was open to having a lover. After being with her a few times, she said I must not see other women, so that was the end of that. She did also ask me if I can introduce a friend of hers (another married woman) to any of my friends, so I did. Chengdu seems to have a reputation for married people rampantly having lovers, so I jokingly call it "the city of swingers with secrecy". But it seems like you have to be married in order to join the club.

Epilogue. I was once told, "everyone finds a different China". This seems to be especially true in Chengdu, different foreigners have widely different experiences. A lot seems to have to do with knowing the right people and getting introduced, or speaking Chinese. Unlike Shanghai and many western cities, Chengdu is just not set up to cater to lone travelers who are complete strangers and don't speak the language. On top of that, there is a lot of ambiguity in the culture, many Chinese will tell you one thing (like "married people rarely have lovers") when the opposite may actually be true. Many of them want to put a positive public face on their culture, or want to make generalizations that fit their own views (e.g., one saying most married Chinese are happily married, and another saying most are unhappy). I also get the impression that China's closure to foreigners decades ago is still in the mindset, there may be situations where being a foreigner closes doors. In some ways, it seems like the Chinese, or the Han ethnic group, or the people of a given city, are like a big family, and outsiders are treated politely but differently. The only solution I know is to speak some Chinese, make friends with some locals who know where to go, and be respectful toward the people you encounter. I do think there's a strong emphasis on being discreet, so westerners who blow into town looking for the red light district may be disappointed. There are some pearls to be found, and I have had some concern than making their business more "public", such as via a forum like this, might be offensive to them and result in them going further underground, or becoming more cold and commercial like in the west. Paradise lost? Only time will tell. In any case, good luck and happy mongering. (I will also post on the Shanghai board, see you there.)

That was such an excellent report! Thank you for posting it for us! Welcome to the land of the contributing non-lurkers. If only half of the new "regular members" contributed information like that report, this would be a completely different forum. Unfortunately, too many just continue to lurk while mindlessly typing "reports" which contribute nothing on wasted bandwidth.

I have lived here long enough to know that China's most beautiful women and those that are the greatest in bed come from Sichuan and Chongqing Province. If you're a dedicated monger, it really doesn't take very long to figure that out.

Just for fun last night when I was dining with my colleagues, I turned the conversation to "which China province has the most beautiful women". This was a table of all professional Chinese men, and I just wanted to hear what they would say. They were in universal agreement: Sichuan. When I mentioned Chongqing they all agreed, "yes, yes, also Chongqing". Wow~! How shall I thank you guys for complimentting my hometown in such a way. hehe. I mean I really got birth here, in the maintown of CQ, and spent nearly 20 years in this mountainous land. Of course I could also speak the smooth dialect (chongqingese).

Well, Erik is right. Chonging and sichuan's summer is extremely hot. Max temperature could reach 40^C degree sometimes even higher, and the air above contain so much vapor that additonally make human unbearable. But since weather is hot, many eye candys would appear (short dressed belles) in the streets and allies.

Chongqing and sichuan province do have many beautiful girls. But their features are a bit different from that of northern girls.

They are relatively more small, short, petitie, slim and white. Their arms and thighs are so slender that you can't imagine. Personally I favour tall large women not fat ones. And also they like to tie up their hair to ponytails. You could see absolutely most girls in style of ponytails. hehe. For me, this is a bit out of trend I think.

Then lets talk about the food. Chongqing 's food is really spicy. Whatever food you perfer will always contain some red peppers. I don't know whether that flavour would suite you.

Well. I could say different persons got different tastes. Although sicuan girls' face are more petite, skin more smooth, I still perfer dalian girls. That is the main reason I live here in north.

Thanks for the encouragement. I will return to Chengdu in a few days and am open to any joint mongering suggestions. After a few weeks, I plan to go touring around China for a few months, probably starting in Guangdong. By August, it's possible I'll be back in Chengdu, or just about anywhere.

While there is certainly a lot of talent walking around Chengdu, I've developed mixed feelings about the place. Mongering opportunities do exist in the city (as I've posted), but finding anything outside of the sex-worker scene (a girlfriend, semi-regular lover, one night stand, etc.) can be rife with difficulty. Some folks like Laowai seem to have a knack for coming up with clever methods, but in general I have the feeling that there is so much trouble in finding and dealing with freebies that it's hardly worth it. It would be interesting to find out what those Chinese businessmen think about this, my guess is that their experience of Sichuan girls is mainly just with xiaojies, and they might tell you that if it's not about marriage or money, sex in Sichuan is trouble.

The good thing about our hobby is that we can sample different flavours. It is nice to eat Sichuanese, but sometimes a guy will want Dongbei food instead. Chinese ladies are like Chinese cuisine, they have different flavours but all are satisfying in different ways.

In Chengdu, I had so much luck with the amateur action that I never needed to try any professionals out. I believe it was suggested below that the malls are good hunting grounds. This was the case for me, just go to a mall and stare at a cute girl who is staring at you. The rest will take care of itself.

Clubs are also very good places, just give it a shot. My experience sleeping with Sichuan girls suggests that they really love sex, therefore the experience if often very pleaurable with them. The other "spicy" girls, from Hunan and Hubei are good too in my experience.

In my first year in Chengdu, I didn't go to xiaojies because I wanted to explore girlfriend/freebie action. While I had some luck, maybe one or two new scores in a good month, far better than I'd do in the U.S., I grew tired of hunting, dating, dead-ends, and pressure. This includes nights going out and only getting phone numbers that don't lead to a date, dating too many times with no sex (see Club Report, above), having the girl bring a friend on a date, and then there are the 19-year-olds who want to sleep together but not have sex. I find far more of these situations than actual scores, and I've wasted a lot of afternoons and evenings this way. Is it similar with you guys? I must admit that Chengdu has picked up a bit and offers at the moment a very acceptable BBS scene. If you find the intersection of Yulin nanlu and Caofang donglu, well it is the whole block south-west of this intersection. Start by walking down Yulin nanlu, you will see 3 BBS on you right, then enter the little lanes and you will find another 10 or 12. They are not red lit but easily identifiable. 150 Y for ST. They all have separate and secure rooms nearby, if you don't want to stay in the dirty back room. Nice selection in some of them.

On the other hand I don't recommend to sleep in one of these hotels at the airport, even if you have an early flight. the jian zhong alley is not near the dynasty. i have not tried the sauna or ktv attached to the hotel, but there is a fs sauna at the water hotel close-by. take a right out of the hotel, first right and then left. hotel is around 25 meters down on the right. you need to take the lift up to the sauna. i paid 500 rmb all inclusive in a vip room, but i heard of other mongers paying up to 700 rmb for the same service. there are also a couple of bbs rep001tered around the alleys in the same area, but they are hit or miss.

In brief, for El Faguoren and others, here is my appraisal of Chongqing and Chengdu, from the point of view of a short duration staying guy who does not speak much Chinese.

Chongqing
Pros: You see these lovely girls in the street and you think: “Wow! I’d love to have one of them”, and you can find some easily and cheap on the mongering market. Mongering and entertainment spots are rather concentrated and of easy access. Maybe I was lucky, but I only got very clean girls.
Cons: very polluted city with thick fog. In June, it is already very hot, and when it is not hot, it rains. Few tourism opportunities. If you don’t work, high risk of boring during the day.

Chengdu
Pros: very nice city, clean air, lots of tourism opportunities, lots of entertainment, not boring during the day.
Cons: less concentrated scene, it is more difficult to get to know this city during a short staying.
Intermediate: Not such easy access to pussy as in Chengdu, but it may well provide as much interesting opportunities once you know your way around. Risk of stinky pussy.

This evening I tried out the Prime Hotel Sauna. It is actually called the Prime Hotel Ginza. There is also another Prime Hotel that may be nearby, but I cannot confirm the location. It is located within walking distance of the Crown Plaza. Come out of the Crown Plaza, turn left take the foot bridge across the street. It is directly across from the McDonalds. As I left the Crown Plaza I was aproached by many guys giving out name cards with girls pictures and phone numbers on them. It looks like you can call the number and have the girls come to your hotel room. I might give that a try tomorrow night, but tonight I was on a mission to visit the Prime.

The hotel itself is 3/4 star quality. The sauna is on the 6th floor of the hotel. I have once visited a KTV on the 21st floor of this same hotel that was OK. This was only my second visit to a sauna in china, and the whole experience was very nice.

When I first arrived we were told 600 RMB for "everything". I did not try to negotiate as that seemed OK.

For those not familiar with the sauna scene you first enter a locker room where you take off your clothes and lock them away with your valuables. They made an effort to show me the locker was locked, and then gave me the keys. Next we went to a shower area, then into a hot jacuzi type pool. They also had a steam room and a sauna room, and 2 massage tables where a Chinese man would give you a traditional massage.

As a side note there were many Chinese guys walking around without clothes on, and I can dispell all of those rumors about Chinese guys being smaller downstairs then westerners. I did not make it a point to check everyone out, but it was hard to avoid seeing the full monty. All of the equipment I saw was the same size wise as you would find anywhere, some curcumsied, some not.

After you finish the bathing portion of the sauna you go back to the locker room, dry off, and they give you some pajamas. I am a big guy and they fit, but just barely. Then down a long hall where there were serveral small rooms with beds. The mama brought in several girls to choose from in groups of 3 or 4. I picked the one that actually smiled at me inseead of looking afraid of the forigner.

Went to Chengdu for a quick overnight trip last week. It was my first visit in about three years, and obviously a lot has changed. I got in late at night and as soon as I had checked into the Sheraton I had to get to work writing a report. I'm on a three day business trip in Chengdu.

I decided to try the Prime hotel sauna, as suggested before.

It's a very nice place, clean, etc. I decided to opt for the waterbed treatment.

I got tied up with female business associates and my client and ended up in a pub. I met up with a former freebie, but it did not work out since she brought a friend along and went home before my business associates wanted to leave the club.

I get myself into these situations from time to time and usually just give in to demands to avoid any trouble. Did I do the right thing? Should I have just called the hotel security and told them I had an unwanted guest in the room? Should I have tried to be more forceful and throw her out physically?

Since you had business associates and clients on the same floor, I believe you did the correct thing. I would have fought it more if I was alone. At the end, I would gave her something but a lot less. I'm sure she would have accepted less than what she was asking (300RMB) especially if hotel security came. Suggest maybe next time booking a room on a different floor from you clients and associates. Even booking a room on a different floor might not help if something BIG happens.

I might be in Chengdu, Sichuan area for vacation in April. If I see her I can give her a hard time for you. For example, I could call her to my hotel and waste her time.

There is this sunna, Call "Da Ban" near by the 3rd ring, on the west side of Cheng du city. They got everything a regular sunna should offer, shower ' hot tub ' steam room '. For 48rmb.

After you finish with the sunna, they give you a robe to put on, and you head to the rest area, with TV and sofa.

And they will give you two small manu in "Chinese", one for food and beverages one for Special service they offer.

I'll skip the one about F&B and go to the one about special service. They got two type of massage on the manu, Hong Kong style for 298rmb and Macau style for 398rmb. I never tried the Hong Kong style, I figure if I can't be happy with the 398rmb plan, I know I'm not going to be satisfy with less money at the same place. When you enter the rest area, the waitress will lead you to a sofa to lie down, you can order some F&B from her, or wait for the mama san come to you. Mama sam will ask if you need a massage and what kind of girl you like or you have a regular massagist, If you do just gave her the number. Or just ask her to set one up for you, if you don't like it just change it, I never tell mama sam what I like, I think it's just a waste of time and a chance to make an ass out of myself.

All the girls work on sequence, unless the customer ask to mark certain girl.

It’s official, my new favorite city in China is Chengdu. I recently spent about a week there on business and taking ALL things into account (not just our favorite hobby), it’s the best time I’ve had in a Chinese city in such a short period of time. The atmosphere is quite laid-back, the locals like having fun, the city is pretty clean, most Western creature comforts seem to be at hand, the food is great (I love spicy), and the weather is pretty good. I don’t know what living there long-term would be like but it seems like a pretty good place to live. But enough mushing about the city, here’s what I encountered concerning our favorite hobby….

BBSs

This was the only real lowlight of my trip. I spent some considerable time looking for them including the ones that had formerly been reported on and never really found what I was looking for. Only saw a single pink light my entire time there and that was a strictly a HJ place for 50Y (pretty good though). Other than that, I did see a bunch of random shops with normal lights here but it was frustrating not being to find a solid RLD. Do they not use pink lights in Chengdu for some reason? I ended up having much more luck with bars than I did with BBSs in Chengdu. You can check out Carol’s Bar and Shamrocks on Renmin Nan Lu, Si Duan (Section 4). The former is pretty busy on the weekends and has more of a student crowd, the latter always seems to have a bunch of slightly more mature expats interspersed with Chinese in their twenties. Would have picked up three attractive office workers if I hadn’t been on a date with another girl at the same time. There’s also quite a number of other restaurants and smaller bars up and down this section of Renmin Nanlu as well.

Also stopped by the One Way Bar located just north of the Sheridan previously reported on several times on the board. Indeed, I was met by dudes in the Scottish getups on the first floor and whisked up to the sixth floor where the bar is located. I made the mistake of spending the first hour ‘browsing’ the crowd. Instead, when you get there, immediately fill out the intro card at your table (you might need help from your waitress if you’re Chinese is poor). Once you’ve filled it out, it goes into ‘circulation’ per se – the host between acts will read out your info and then people are free to make connections after that by sending you an sms or actually coming to your table. You can also post your info at the front bulletin board. I did see a couple of semi-pros there who were available for 500Y/night but they weren’t really my cup of tea. I had a couple of Guinness’, enjoyed the acts, flirted with my waitress, and left around one. The next day I actually got two phone calls from women who had heard my listing and were looking for dates but were both quite startled to find out I was a foreigner. I had forgotten to mention that on my card!

You can also try your luck at the Empty Bottle and The Music Room, located at Yulin Guangchang on South Second Ring Road. Went there while on dates with my freebies and saw lots of potential for pick-ups.

Clubs

Decided to devote one entire night to hitting hard the clubs located along the South Second Ring Road just west of Renmin Nan Lu. There are four or five of them in a row, Fox Club, Chivas, Mix, Babi, etc., and all of them are connected in the back by the mall they’re attached to. There’s also a movie theatre located in the complex. Honestly, it was hard to figure out the lay of the land, mostly because the clubs were absolutely packed to the brim (it was Friday night) and it was impossible to hear, do, say anything. Also stopped by the One Way Bar located just north of the Sheridan previously reported on several times on the board. Indeed, I was met by dudes in the Scottish getups on the first floor and whisked up to the sixth floor where the bar is located. I made the mistake of spending the first hour ‘browsing’ the crowd. Yes and no. You can also go fishing for contacts by using the search function on Messenger.

I wish I can say I had a set of magic lines but I don't think I do. I give them a quick intro about myself, tell them I'll be in a town, and that I liked their profile. I just tell them that perhaps it would be nice if we got together and maybe they could show me around as I don't know the city. My main goal is to get their phone number or at the very least, their msn. From there I contact them, filter a bit depending on what I learn about them, and then meet up. The girls I described were all ones who were willing to go to bed by the first or second meeting. The others I simply dropped as I determined it would take more time to get into their pants than I had to spare.

I know others fish by being relatively explicit about they want and that way can cut to the chase. Me, I don't mind getting to know the girls, both because I like to meet new people anyways as well the general pleasure I get from wooing and screwing a nice normal girl who had no idea coffee at Starbucks would lead to my bed.

Spent a frustrating time in Chengdu on the weekend. Had two nights, so was pretty certain something would be happening.

On the first night I had a colleague in tow so couldn't do anything until almost midnight when I managed to shake them off. We had been to two bars in the bar strip next to the river (on the south side), sorry not sure where it was but there were 20 or so bars. All locals know it when you tell them a row of lots of bars next to the river...Anyway it seemed it would be a tricky place to pick up, as all of them seemed to be groups of friends sitting around tables playing cards or dice games. It would be hard to find an obvious opportunity.

After ditching my colleague I checked out two clubs in a new nightlife area five minutes from Wuhou Temple. There appeared to be freebie opportunities, but the girls were all in groups, with not a lot of eye contact happening. Obviously not pros. Therefore left there and headed to the Sheraton area. Found the one way bar by accident, and went in about 1.30am. There was one possibility sitting alone by the door, who quite obviously was checking me out. However was not that interested and otherwise was dead quiet, so left (to my regret later). Could not find anything else in the area, so eventually went back to my hotel alone and wiser for the next evening.

The next evening started earlier, at Carol's on Renmin Nanlu section 4. Lots of freebie opportunities, however rather than invest time trying to convince one I really wanted something a bit more guaranteed, and would not mind some expense. Poked my nose into Shamrock down the road, but did not look like a very good ratio. I saw that there were a lot of bars across the road, so guessed some of them would have opportunities on offer. These were however all empty (on a Saturday night!), so kept walking a stumbled across a couple of discos on a nearby side road. After a short while I had attracted the attention of three girls sitting alone around a table (I stand out) and one of them blew a kiss. Not needing a second invitation, I went over. they turned out to be ethnic Tibetans from western Sichuan somewhere, in Sichuan for a month for 'fun'. However before putting the word on, the one I was chatting to was whisked away by a local or obviously already knew her. The other two then suggested I depart, and literally five seconds after I did two other guys who were known to the first one took my place. Obviously they had some deal going on already. Shame as these girls were hot.

Left and made my way back to the Sheraton area again, looking for the mirror bar as posted here previously. Could not find it at all, so made my way back to One Way Bar as a last resort. It was too late however, everyone was matched up and no more opportunities. the manager told me I needed to come earlier (I guess about 10pm would have been best).

Therefore two very disappointing nights in Chengdu, with no success at all. It might have been a different story if I had tried for a freebie earlier in the evening instead of wandering all over Chengdu! I received a lot of attention during the day time as well, so if I was there for longer freebies would not be an issue...I therefore recommend doing your homework and lining them up via online chat beforehand as LittleGoomba did.

On the last half day there I decided I would not leave completely empty handed, so went to the sauna on the 21st floor of the Water hotel (it is Water in Chinese as well, although pronounced more like "War-tour"). It is not a sauna setup as per in Shanghai, rather it has about 8-10 self contained suites. I was ushered into one of them as soon as I arrived, and an attendant asked what I was after. He then stated the room fee was RMB288, plus tip to the girl was 'up to me'. As soon as he said that however he asked how much I would give, and when I told him I would pay RMB600 all up he said it was too low. He insisted on RMB1000, which I told him was nuts. We eventually settled on RMB800, with me bitterly complaining that it was more expensive than in Shanghai...I should have pretended to walk out however after the frustration of the previous two nights, and with three hours to kill before my flight, I decided to go for it anyway. Was offered a lineup of two, presume would have been better if it was in the evening (this was 11am). One was a bit on the weighty side, however the other had a nice figure with a 7/10 face, so went for her.

First the girl lead me to the shower, and then quickly to the bedroom. The girl turned out to be a real trooper. Any position desired, and despite going on for much longer than usual (the time of day I suppose!) were no complaints from her. By that stage I would normally be getting "are you done yet!". Actually she was suggesting positions to try, and seemed to be really enjoying it. So either a good GFE or a good actor, I would like to think the former! In the end it was probably worth it, although she did have an obvious scar on her abdomen, which was a bit off putting.

Anyway, I would recommend it if like me you don't have time to invest in freebies, but be prepared to negotiate!

All in all Chengdu seems to have a lot of opportunities, however do not expect to find any obvious girlie bars, rather it is a city where I would follow Goomba's approach.

You only need to go to the BBS street near the Jian Zhong hotel in the southern area. Take a taxi to this hotel (maybe 20/30 RMB from center). Go down the street (with the hotel on your right side), and it is the first street on the right, you cannot miss it! I think it's the first street, maybe it's the second one. But when you are there, you know you are in the right street! Thanks guys for the directions, I found the alley. Unfortunately the selection was pretty horrific except for one shop with three thin, taller girls. One look though at their chain smoking miserable as miserable can be expressions made me decide it wasn't worth it.

This actually crossed my mind a few days ago.

While it feels like I've scoured a million AFF pages looking for my type of girl, I almost rarely read in detail their self-written profile unless its in English. My Chinese is fair but I don't have the time, energy, or ability to do anything but skim the introduction and look at the details (i.e. age, body, height, education). My gut tells me that naturally there are some girls who would be open to being a semi-pro but that being said, I doubt that this crossed the mind of 99.999% of them when they first signed up. Anyways, the primary clues to their openness would probably be gleamed from their introduction. I also look to see if they're a casual drinker or smoker (often means they're more open).

Santa, the village you are refering to might by Huang Long Xi. It's about 1 1/2 hours from Chengdu. I went there a couple years ago and it was like a brothel-town. It is an ancient little city and somewhat of a tourist attraction. I have no idea if there are still ladies for rent there. It was 100 yuan per girl, 150 for all night. I went with a chinese friend and he knew the places to go. A room was 50 yuan for 24 hours. Really cheap! And you could order up girls all day long. Traffic Hotel used to organize daily bus tourist trips there (not for the whoring). I wish I could give directions but I've forgotten.

Not quite the Svai Pak I was described. It is indeed very easy to have a girl in your room at night and I visited a place to drink tea by the river, actually a brothel with ST room, but did not see any beauty. Could have had ST for 150. After reading all the posted threads about chengdu, it sounded like prospects for fun would be unrealistic. I was planning to go to shenzhen. Thankfully though, all previous reports on chengdu are inaccurate --I have found the industry in chengdu to be very healthy and vibrant.

This is my first report on this site, so please forgive me not knowing website jargon. I landed in chengdu 3 weeks ago from the US. I bought a bicycle and prowled the streets late at night. Here's the situation:

Pedicab guys are the conduit for one channel for beautiful young ladies. I have personally drilled 2 girls I bought from pedicab drivers in front of the Minshan hotel near downtown. The pedicab guys are very aggressive and will come up to you. Quotes for a girl range in price from 200st to 800LT. A 300rmb ST girl is hot! Mine were 20years old and 22years old. Great face great body nice teeth and shaved, and small breasts, but I look for small breasts on a girl. I paid 500LTfor 20 yr old girl. She told me she got 200rmb from the deal. I would probably budget at least 2000-2500Y for a decent apartment within the second ring road. Chengdu isn't a cheap city for housing which I found out when I went apartment shopping with my CD gf a few months ago. Naturally, I have no idea what kind of accomodations you considerable acceptable. 2000Y will probably look like a clean, furnished 60-80m2 modern apartment without the whitewashed walls, faux wood panelling, and grimy toilet and gas burner that I hate about most Chinese apartments. You''ll also want to live within the 2nd ring road as Chengdu is kind of sprawling and taxi bills can add up. I find the public transportation annoying mostly because the city isn't on a grid so lots of buses have weird routes. I'd probably pick a spot close to Sichuan University (Kehua Beilu), Disco Alley (South 2nd Ring Road) or near one of the BBS alleys (ie. Railway) for guaranteed sex.

You can find a decent apartment, 100sqm, in southern area on Renmin Nan Lu 4th section for 2000rmb. If you want a 1 bedroom, can be even cheaper, about 1600rmb.

it's like csun213 said. you can live anywhere you want -- as long as you've got the benjamins nobody cares. chengdu is wide open. in fact, based on what i have observed, waiguoren are preferred clients for landlords in these parts. we are deemed as desirable from a financial perspective, and one can use this a leverage when negotiating a rental agreement. you can "peel off" roughly 10-15% from the asking price of a rental.

I even remember foreigners getting busted for renting in local housing in Beijing. However, all has changed now. You can pretty much live wherever you like nowadays.

So not only can you live anywhere, but the unemployment rate is quite high in Chengdu (CD). As a result, it's a buyers market in the flesh trade.

There is so much prostitution in CD, that it staggers the mind. With a little bit of effort and language skills, there's no limit to availability of women.

For example, tonight I went out to suinianhe. It can get pretty dicey out there -- a drunk man wielding a butcher knife chased a guy down the street on an electric bike (If you go, you must be comfortable being surrounded by CHinese men and women -- I like it personally and have made some solid friendships). Regarding directions, I'm using a 50 cent map I bought here in town -- so it's not great. Dongfeng is east of city center. It begins as east renmin near tian fu square, then turns into dacisi rd. Dacisi rd turns into dongfeng, and dongfeng turns into suinianhe. Suinianhe, just under the second ring has a park where people congregate for weekend dancing. It also serves as the location for prostitution. It would be impossible to miss should you find this location. It may be a seasonal thing, I'm not sure -- all I can say is that it's in full gear right now. There are also a string of bars both farther east (1 more block) and north about 3-4 blocks (although I haven't tried them yet). From the park you may also travel southfrom the concentration of SW's and find yet more ladies lingering around. SOme nights are better than others -- there are some very pretty young women and some really worn-out veterans -- it's hit or miss. Personally, I'm pretty picky and I've seen other pics on this site, and quite frankly the pics I've seen aren't ladies I'd spend time with (Sorry). That being said, Suinianhe is worth a visit, should you be in this area and don't want to spend a lot of cash.

Regarding girl friendly hotels. For example at Suinianhe -- let her worry about that -- she'll find you a place don't worry. It will also be free! Should you want a LT date she can get you a fangwu (room) for 50rmb or you can go to her place for free. If you do a Minshan hotel girl, then tell the pedicab guy to get you a room -- don't pay more than 50rmb. You'll get a clean room for the night. For massage parlor girls (see below), I just stay there at the parlor.

As I've said previously, Upmarket ladies can easily be had on the north corner of the Minshan hotel -- you don't evne need to get out of your cab. As soon as a foreigner shows up, you'll be offerred a girl from the pedicab guys who loiter around -- They make a call and a car shows up with the "inventory" Be picky though, because some really lovely women can be had through this channel -- price are from 300ST/400LT.

To get to Ma'an, you need to head north from Tian Fu square on North Renmin road. Just after you cross the river, head east on Xinghui. Ma' An is the second of the major streets heading north south.

My favorite place I've found so far is just east of Xinhua park. There's a triangle which is packed with massage parlors and hidden brothels close by. You go to the massage parlor, and order up a girl -- ask them to bring you several to choose from -- these girls can be truly exquisite. Prices are only 100ST/300LT. I typically stay in one of their very acceptable bedrooms on the premises included in the price. It's great!

I have a "friend" who works at one of these places and he takes really good care of me (last time he took me to the hidden brothel to pick my girl (which also has an apartment to use included in the price)-- I repaid him for this generosity by buying him a ST girl) -- So tonight I'm gonna try going directly to the hidden brothel for.

Ok, So when I heard about the fabled yin sha lu pussy market, I came back out of retirement, and sniffed the air for the sweet scent of young hot pussy. Like any good StrayCat, I found what i was looking for, and I went to yin sha lu. It's a small street with massage shops that serve as fronts for the sex business. It's definitely far removed from the bright lights of the city, but there's no reason to be afraid of this place. I ws there at 2AM on a Tuesday.

The people were very friendly, but pricing for (kuai yi xia) ST started at 500rmb. With my limited Chinese skills I haggled ST pricing down at 1 place to 120RMB and another down to 200RMB.

The girls are looked OK, I was informed however that their is a hidden brothel where I can choose from many beautiful girls -- tonight I didn't bother fucking -- just showing my face and let them work for my money later -- maybe I'll go back to see if there's really anything worth while there. I didn't see 20 shops as stated in the previous FR, but more like 10.

Should you go be advised: this place is a pretty undeveloped area. If I were a big fat hairy old foreigner whose belly is so big that they can't see their cock when they look down, then I would stick to the big and overpriced mainstream hotels for sex. But if you like "mixing it up" with the locals, then amybe this place is worth a look.

Unfortunately, I was told that other foreigners do frequent this area, and perhaps this is why it is so expensive -- I told the Laobans I would only pay 100rmb maybe 150rmb if they had something special, and few would accept this offer.

Personally, the east triangle still rules the CD landscape -- it is cleaner, more developed, Cheaper, and most importantly untouched by the outside world -- my little Shangri La if you will --

At the end of the day all pussies and mouths are all the same, with little degrees of difference between them -- anyone who comes to China for sex has basically 2 choices: discovering the undiscovered -- the brave adventurer, and the Mc Donald's style.
