But do you speak Chinese? Or how did you manage to negotiate with mamasan? Signs?No negotiations, really. There's a set price list. The cheapest option is a regular massage. The second most expensive involves hands. The most expensive option (I think it's still under 300 RMB) can involve everything. The front desk staff likely speak enough English- I've seen foreigners chilling out in robes playing XBox and watching TV and very likely enjoying the services of the young ladies there. Depending on which way you come from, the Water Way Spa is located next to an off ramp from a highway.

Also invest in a good quality map or directory, some of the directories and maps are in Chinese and English and include bus routes and subways.
You could read some posts and mark potential places to visit on the map or directory and see how they pan out against public transport or, if nearby, either for walking or taxi.

The Crown Plaza City Center you mentioned is located on Huanshi East Road in Yuexiu District, though the google map shows it's in Tianhe (Dong'an Road). Since you want to find a place near your hotel, I'd like to recommend Ocean Hotel Sauna Center to you. The sauna center is only about 1 KM away from your hotel. Address: 4 / F, Ocean Hotel. 412 East Huanshi Road, Yuexiu District.

Sad to report, that Ocean Hotel Sauna Center is no longer in existence. It looks like they have renovated and the 4th floor is now a conference center. When I arrived a wedding was in progress on 4F. After wandering all over trying to find the Sauna Center, the hotel staff informed me that their only massage now was an arm massage available at the Salon the 1st floor.
Disappointed, I considered heading to a Sex Shop that was right next to the Ocean Hotel, but the place looked quite seedy so I passed.
Instead I headed to the Waterways Hotel. Not knowing a word of Mandarin or Cantonese, nor understanding the system (which I should have understood having read this forum) , I looked like an idiot there. After getting my wrist band and heading to the 4th floor changing area, and putting my clothes into the lockers, I wasn't sure what I should do. One of the male staff there took me to the massage area and showed me a price list for various massage offerings on the 4th floor. I could tell they were standard massages being done by the male staff. After repeatedly saying "spa" and being met by bewildered glances, they directed me to a set of lockers where I changed from my towel to the standard pajamas. They then pointed to another elevator that led to the higher floors. I think I went to the 11th floor where I was met by the spa staff. They showed me a variety of massages and more elaborate multi-hour spa experiences. I didn't know if one or all would lead to a happy ending, so I went with one of the more expensive RMB798 + 10% service charge packages. I felt like I probably way overpaid, but I did get a nice exfoliation treatment, good length massage, a bath in the jacuzzi, followed by another full body massage and HE. The HE was okay, not great. I was happy I got something, given the failure at the Ocean Hotel, but I knew I wasn't coming back here.
The next day, I headed out to the Deyi Sauna. I knew understood the procedures a little better. They didn't show me any options, but figured they knew what I wanted and asked me to pay RMB398 up front. For this, a nice young girl (probably a 6 or so in the looks department) , gave me a nice full body and nuru massage, licked all over, rimming, prostate massage, followed by CBJ, and Full Service. Another nice massage followed, after which I felt the need for round 2. I was motioned to pay another RMB300, to which I complied. Round 2 was even better. I was satisfied and plan to repeat here.
Overall, I have no idea whether I got a good value or did the right things, etc. But I thought I did well for not really understanding the system or being able to speak a word of Mandarin. Hope this review is of some help.

It has been some years (!) since posting in here, but since I am in Guangzhou for a few days I want to share a spot that I really enjoy a lot.
It is a massage at Guangzhou South Avenue, directly northwest of the crossing to Xingang West Road.
You can recognize it by all the flashing lights in the evening, a woman standing there and a sign with different prices. The procedure is pretty straightforward: Go to the. 2 floor, follow a fuwuyuan to a room and get 70 minutes (?) of massage in which the masseuse comes pretty close (basically it is like hugging and cuddling sometimes) , followed by a HJ with oil. 178 RMB or 198 RMB (that is a new option) is the damage, plus 5 RMB for a one-time-use-massage-trouser.
No full service, no kissing and the girls wear their clothes.
The girls in there are no stunners, but their service attitude is really pretty good, always very satisfying experience. Much better than any other HJ-place that I ever saw in China.

The only one I found was at the Nan Yuan the Jiu Dian&21335; &22290; &22823; &37202; &24215; , located behind / beside the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The roomboys discretely told me that they have a sauna floor. It was not a fully functioning sauna like the ones in Changping, just regular hotels rooms where they have a few WG's.

Street action around Garden Hotel area is not that great, and is hit or miss. I don't think you want to count on that. Even if you find somebody, I would be very cautious about the girl and your own safety. The street on the side of Garden Hotel is interesting and has many restaurants frequented by expats. Easun Hotel is semi girl friendly. You need to register the girl you bring back while you might have issue return with a girl on other 5-star hotels close by.

I was strolling at the Laodong Square along Nanhai the Dao and saw this sign for a foot massage. I asked what services they offer and they answered foot massage (mu zhu) and body massage (dui you). I asked if they had something more to offer, they answered none. So I took the body massage for 168rmb.
While getting the body massage, I chatted and got friendly with my masseuse. Thanks guys.I think you will enjoy KTV clubs more if you are in a group, and if you can speak some Chinese. It is difficult to find a girl who speaks English in KTV clubs. There are a few clubs which have similar setting as Kama, but Kama is probably the only one where you find multi nationalities. Majority of them are Colombianas. Since you are Latino, I think you will do find in Kama. They know you are not from LE. But bear in mind that there is a crackdown going on all across China. I don't know how the current scene is, and how this is impacting our playgrounds in Guangzhou. Maybe some local guys can share updates on this. I did receive a message from an old amiga a week ago saying she had got back to Colombia. It became too dangerous and too much hassle deal with working in KAMA.

Due to the crackdown I changed my plans from staying in CP and CA and instead went to the Golden Dragon Hotel in Macau. Wanted to do a KTV but the were only two of us, one of which is a native PRC and I am an old lawoai. They offered a early bird special of 1 1/2 hrs KTV and a girl for 1 1/2 (1 shot and done!) hours for almost 3000 HKD. With that super deal came two bottles of beer and a couple soft drinks-WOW-such a deal I found very hard to pass up! (That is a joke!). If you wanted a better package, longer KTV and a LT girl you were in the 8000 HKD range. Passed and went for a walk instead. I have read quite a bit about the various saunas in Macau and may be FORCED to partake of one, but I doubt it.
General conclusion: Macau is not the place for a lawoai who does not speak the language and doesn't have tons of $$$$$ to burn. In retrospect, I would have been better off to stay in CA or CP, even with the crackdown and ordered room service.
As it is, I am totally bored and wish I could find a mix group to join up with for at least a little KTV fun. Oh well, I guess it is live and learn. If there is anyone around either today or tomorrow, just send me a PM and we'll see if we can get together for something. Mrclen

I arrived in Guangzhou the day after the newspaper article on the crackdown was posted. I saw a SW every night in front of my Hotel near Ouzhuang station. They were good looking, only asked for 400 RMB. I got great service from them. No clock watching. Each one stayed at least two hours. Everything was on the menu. Never got a no at any attempt. DATY, fingers, BBFS, DFK. 2nd pop, etc. (I didn't attempt anal). It was like getting that quality service in Thailand. I recently visited Guangzhou during winter and what I did I is I went to BP to find a service provider, usually what happens is.
You call they ask for the hotel number so they can find where you are usually its about 1,000-2,000 rmb I wouldn't worry about the police to much.
They don't usually do their "job" unless they have to and when they raid a place its usually because of narcotics in one of the Donggguan places.

I moved to Guangzhou back in February. I arrived just after the crack down started. I've been lurking on this forum since then. I have to say what I've read on this forum and what I've experience on the ground has been two different things. Let me start with the street walkers, then I will move onto the massage places.

Great post! There is no doubt that action is still available if you know how to find it. Dongguan was hit the hardest since it was way over the top and targeted. That said, in comparison, Guangzhou was never the best place for mongering even before the crackdown.
SW: Can you tell us where you are finding the SWs? Around Garden Hotel? How much are you paying them? What time are they around? Most mongers prefer the talent younger than 30's. There are many freebies available in the 30-40 range if that is what you want.
MP / Sauna: I think your "no police" theory is correct. I never have a problem being offered a HE either. And, I get offers for FS although usually not available onsite. I need to call in advance and rent a hotel room nearby. Have you tried any of the saunas that used to provide FS before the crackdown?

Regal Club seems to be exclusively for men. It is a lot more expensive than South America and only has a 10th of the services and size. However the massage rooms are great. The rooms are very dark and they have a massage table and a bed. I wonder what the bed is for? The girls are hot, in sexy dresses, and flirt with you. I've visited ytd and it's still available but it seems like do it quietly. Today I also visited blue coast and it's also back to usual. HJ is offer when you chose certain package. I think Guangzhou is back to live. So no worries. But I prefer food and service at blue coast and ossoto. Cheers.

May not be relevent here, but the manhattan intn'l hotel was disappointing, so shifted to La Perle Int'l hotel, LongKou Dong Heng street, much better.
As recommended by an ISgian, checked out Yue Tan Sauna, and came through the soft hands of petite leila.

I am also planning a trip to Guangzhou. Will be there in 2 weeks. Anybody has been to Kama recently? Is it still open as usual? My 2 amigas has gone back to Medellin since my last visit. Before their departure, they both told me the LE had been checking on the chicas that made it very difficult to work in Kama. With the recent City wide raid, I don't know if Kama has been affected?

There are still tradition Guangzhou style saunas operating in town where you can get a good massage and HJ. Just was at Aqua Vale Sauna this afternoon. The usual locker room, TV watching area, dining area, footies available. Had a massage with #18 from Hunan. 90 minute massage, two HJ pops. My body, especially the legs were sore. So yesterday evening I decided to go to Deyi Sauna. I took the metro to Ximenkou station because of it's location on Renmin Beilu. After getting off, I started walking north on the right side of Renmin Beilu looking for #680. I must have walked half of the north part of the city passing Huanshi Lu, Panfu Lu and the Marriott until the Train Station. I could not find it. What did I do wrong?

Long time lurker both in Beijing forum and now Guangzhou for some short time. Hope to start giving back to the ISG community.
I recently relocated from Beijing and is now looking if I can find similar establishment as I frequented in Beijing. In BJ I enjoyed visiting the massage place focusing on the massage, you get a room w shower and bed and after changing to the gorgeous underwear you get a decent oil massage with some teasing and some minor action following.
Here in Guangzhou I have tried two saunas (shopping centre & hotel) in the Gangding area and got myself a massage and some hand action and roaming as a finale. But I do prefer a little simpler arrangement skipping the lounge chair and food.

Before my visit to Kama last week, I was not sure if the place was still operating. I couldn't get any response here when I asked for some update info. Well, the place is still the same, loud and alive, same band, same waiters and waitresses, same annoying flower girls. Drinks are now starting at 75 RMB. If you buy a few rounds for the chicas, the tab can add up quite fast.
I saw some new faces from Colombia, and the overall girl quality was not too bad that night understanding this is China, not Latin America. I will rate most girls at the club between 5-7's, with a few 8's including some very exotic looking girls from I guess, central Asia. The DJ still played solely Arabic music to suite the majority of the clientele there. I am not a fan of the music, but I guess most guy that came here enjoyed it.
As my 2 regular amigas have gone home to Colombia, I hooked up with another Paisa, a little spinner for ST, $100, not a bad deal considering how far they have to travel to work in this club. And in Hong Kong bars, they are charging 3 x the price. For toda la noche is between $200-$300 depends how you negotiate with the girl.
I have been to a few bars in Guangzhou during past trips, and Kama is the busiest club of all. Yet there have been very little discussion about it in the past year. Well, the whole Guangzhou thread has been very quiet.

Guangzhou is clearly not the best FS mongering place. It depends of course where you are located now (there are worse places), and whether or not you speak chinese.
But Guangzhou is nothing to compare with Shanghai which has plenty of supply; or with Hong Kong.
Basically, Guangzhou has KAMA bar, but you will hardly find any stunner there.
30 minutes from Guangzhou is Dongguan which used to be the chinese mecca but after quite severe raids, it is not at all what is used to be.

This place located at 320 Chang Di Lu on lobby level at the back. Closest Metro station is Yide Lu on Line 6. I had read previous report on forum with prices for FS and for HJ. Now only a HJ is on offer.

I don't know if it has FDA approval for such use. Kamagra is generic Viagra, made in country where Pfizer no longer has the patent and charged monopoly price. The medication ingradient for Viagra and Kamagra is the same. Fake is fake, meaning it is just inert powder of something (chalk?) pressed together and stamped into the Vigara shape and dyed blue. If you think fake worked very well for you, then you would not need ED medication at all.
I saw the article you linked to when I Googled phentolamine. What I cited was a review of the medication from Oxford for its use in ED, not just one article. There are a dozen trains daily and even during the Canton Trade fair, I've managed to get on with just a few hours advance purchase.
But if you must, then just contact your hotel and instruct them to pre-purchase your specified ticket.
Majority / most Guangzhou hotels regularly do this and will probably just charge you 5 or so yuan handling fee.

The Guangzhou to HK "straight through" train schedule hasn't increased in frequency in the last 13 years, so it's been getting progressively harder to get tickets as demand has increased. One solution is an option that is much more accessible in frequency as well as a bit cheaper, although a bit less convenient, because you need to walk across the border at Shenzhen along with the masses. But because the trains go much more frequently (about every 20 minutes as opposed to every 2 hours roughly (as with the straight-through option) it can often actually get you to HK quicker than the straight through option would have.
Here's how you do it: Buy a ticket to Shenzhen (I recommend the East Ticket Office -- accesible from a separate, little utilized entrance to the East Station around the side of the building. Just get the taxi to let you out before he drives into the station -- you don't want to go in; walk around the right side of the building (doesn't even look like you should be walking there! But you'll see the entrance sign in 30 seconds; it's very near. You can get to the ticket office before you even go through bag security. Tickets to SZ are 79 RMB or 99.5 for First Class -- nice seats, and even have power outlets to charge your laptop / device. About 1 hour and 15 minutes later, you'll pull into SZ station. Follow the masses and look for the signs that say Hong Kong. You need to go up one escalator at one point. Then it's just one line to leave China and another to enter HK. Once you're through you'll be at LoWu station and can use your Octopus card (or buy one or a Single Journey ticket) and walk down to the train (KCR) which will take you to Hung Hom for around 30 HKD (I'm guessing) And they also run very frequently -- I'm guessing about once every 5 minutes.

One point is that depending on the time of day, the crowds of school kids, parallel traders, mainland tourists etc can add 30 to 45 minutes to the time taken to get through China and Hong Kong Immigration points in SZ.
You are quite correct about the outside location of the ticket office. Good information. It is hard to find if you can't read Chinese as the English signs are often ambiguous or lack clarity. And night time the task more difficult. It seems that quite a lot of the newer stations (such as Guangzhou South) locate their ticket offices away from the main concourse and often on the outside of the building. The reason is most probably to reduce congestion at peak times.
BTW, I have passed many Guangzhou-HK through trains over the years, and they have always seemed to be at least 50% empty (or more).

Long time lurker both in Beijing forum and now Guangzhou for some short time. Hope to start giving back to the ISG community.
I recently relocated from Beijing and is now looking if I can find similar establishment as I frequented in Beijing. In BJ I enjoyed visiting the massage place focusing on the massage, you get a room w shower and bed and after changing to the gorgeous underwear you get a decent oil massage with some teasing and some minor action following.

I was in Guangzhou last week for a few days. Many people around given the Fair. I was willing to try outcall service. And ended up being unsuccessful. Still, with trial and errors, and mailny errors, they are good things to learn.
1. The websites such as chinaidaily or craiglist: 100% fake pictures. When you ask them to send picture, they find billions of excuses.
2. Paradise Club which claims to be the only site to have real pictures (or let me correct: which simply claims all other websites have fake pictures), seemed also shaky as they refused to send me pictures; telling me "if I send you picture, how do you know it is a real one".
3. The hotel lobby was a nest of whales: fat and old girls.
4. The "guy with the cards" in front of the hotel, showed me pictures on his phone, but it was almost exclusively Russian and Columbian for 2000 RMB. Not what I was looking for.
5. I then turned to Wechat (google translate as I speak 0 chinese). I managed to connect with some girls. Long story short, here are my advices:

Probably met them at KTV. Generally Guangzhou KTV stocks the hottest girls, IMO, in dongguan. They are very expensive. I personally can't afford it. Plus you need to build a repore with these girls I've been told by a supplier who lives parttime in Guangzhou. Going prices start at 4500 for the incredibly hot girls. It is parallel to Huangshi Dong Lu and one block just before you get to the stairs before the Garden Hotel. There is another building you can use as a landmark, but I forgot the name of the place. This place located at 320 Chang Di Lu on lobby level at the back. Closest Metro station is Yide Lu on Line 6. I had read previous report on forum with prices for FS and for HJ. Now only a HJ is on offer.
Set up is like a sauna, with locker room, male attendants to help with putting your clothes in the locker. Shower plus a soaking pool which I never saw anybody use. 10 yuan for shorts and shirt out of a wrapped bag or plain ones for free. Sanmao Hotel at 374 Huanshi Dong Lu. This is actually east of the Garden Hotel and off Taojin Lu not on the main road of Huanshi Dong Lu. Go to 4th floor and there is a small reception area. Only one choice and that is 318 yuan massage. The elevator is toward the back of the hotel. The front ones will bring you to a chess club and not what you want. I love this spa. It is way more upscale than the Sanmao. A bit more expensive but 5 times as big as Sanmao spread over several floors. Food is much better too with a cafeteria style dining room. During meal time, it is like a large Chinese buffet with over 20 dishes of food. In between meals, you can order noodles and snacks but the menus are in Chinese only. The lounge chairs have charging cables for iphones and android devices. When you are ready for a massage, one of the helpful hostess will arrange a girl for you based on your preferences. I've been a busy boy recently.
Yesterday I went to Longkou W road, and saw several massage places there. Go to Gang Ding Station and go out Exit A. Walk West until you see Longkou Xi Road. Turn right onto that street and keep walking. On you left hand side you will see several massage places. The Team Anal Ease Hotel seems to be out of business. At least temporarily. My usual mode of operation for purchasing tickets fot local flights within China:
- I check flight schedules on ticket. 9588.com.
- I determine which flight (s) I want time wise and pricewise.
- I always use the hotel's travel desk or (in case no travel desk) go to a local travel agency with instructions which flight I want. Knowing all ticket prices in advance can prevent you from any unpleasant surprises.

If may indulge the board with a few questions (I hope most want mind since the Guangzhou board is a little slow and there is not a board for Sanya).
1. Ever taken the train from Guangzhou to Sanya? Takes longer but always been a little fantasy to have train sex in a private car Plus the train on the ferry seems cool too.
2. Would you stay out at one of the self contained resorts? Or closer to town? She requested a nice quiet place in nature away from the city, but I know Chinese women loath the sun. I am afraid during the day we will be bored if we do not stay near the downtown area. Which might be a good thing, but I do enjoy a variety of restaurants and do not want to be stuck at only one place. Is it easy to go back and forth? Any hotel recommendations on a hotel in the $100-$200 a night price range?
3. I am assuming in Sanya there will be little trouble with unmarried guests in the same room if I am willing to register her also. Which is what I have done in Beijing and Shanghai.
4. Any other recommendations for a better vacation spot to take her beside the beach. I am a little worried about taking the beach. Some Chinese do prefer the mountains more. Not sure if she swims either.

2) Stay in Yalong Bay. There are many restaurants, overpriced, but it has the best beach, the cleanest water and it is away from, but not too far away from, downtown. The hotels are in your price range (if you are talking 100-200 dollars, not RMB) EXCEPT during National Day week, October 1, and during Spring Festival. The beach is not used by locals, so it is clean and uncrowded.
3) No problem checking in.
4) There are mountains in Hainan, one right next to Yalong Bay, if you are bored.

I have been a member a while, but rarely post. I come to China twice a year usually for the months of April and October. My best punts have been thru WeChat using the Look around feature. 1. You may or may not be even given a visa, depending on your nationality (unless you get one before you leave your origin city).
2. I don't have any local knowledge of Guangzhou. I have, for the last 6 years, considered it a sexual desert and so I have stayed away, even though it was only 1 1/2 hours from where I lived. Others may disagree!
You could go to Dongguan or Zhuhai, where there is a little bit of action, but my recommendation is to save your money for more enjoyable destinations.
You missed out by 2 years, when ChangPing in Dongguan was the ultimate sex Disneyland. There were 100's of hotels with KTVs and saunas, some of which had line ups of more than 300 girls. The good ol' days (sniff)!

Good news is you get a 10 year visa, so you won't have to do this again for the life of your passport.
As far as Guangzhou goes, Baiyun Airport is in the middle of nowhere. Huadu district (in which it's located) is simply a factory district. No P2 P opportunities there. I used to work 12-15 weeks a year in Huadu, and I looked everywhere. The only play opportunities I ever got was local freebies who wanted to spend the night in a nice Western hotel. Rather than packed 3-4 in a one-bedroom apartment (or worse, 8 in a factory dorm).
Consider it a chance to rest up before your fun in Manila!

I don't know why you need to fly China southern just to save a hundred bucks, if you flying out of LAX just take CX or PAL time is money too I will never do a 12 HR transit in the airport.

Sorry for being such a clueless traveler when it comes to China. That $240 fee pretty much puts the kibosh on my plan to enter China for 6 hours. That and my total lack of language skills convince me its better to cool my heels in the terminal. My passport expires in 2018 and I think if I had a reasonable chance of going back to China in the next 3 years I might try it but honestly it is pretty slim. The beauty of the Guangzhou airport is once you exit the Customs and Immigration hall, head downstairs to the subway stop that is located right in the terminal building. You will need some coins or small bills to buy a token from the ticket machine. The machine has English. And just click on the map for the station you want to go to. Http://www.travelchinaguide.com/images/map/guangdong/guangzhou-subway.gif.
There are many sauna / spas in Guangzhou. One I went to is at the Taojin stop on line 5. It is located in the Ocean hotel. See post # 2458 a couple of pages back. From the airport on line 3, you can get there in less than an hour. You have to change lines twice but suggest you don't do so at the Guangzhou Railway stop. That station will be a sea of humanity!
The Sea Palace has comfy recliner chairs where you can sleep, charge your phone and watch your individual TV, decent food and includes a massage with happy ending. All inclusive at 368 cny plus a tip for the locker boys who are the only staff not paid but rely solely on tips. IMHO a far better way to spend 11 hours compared to sitting at the airport. The staff don't speak English although the cute petite masseuse #16 did a little. When you are ready, just go up to the hostess desk in the rest area and tell them you want your massage.
I'd suggest leaving well before midnight to head back to the airport as the subway closes around that time.

Ikks.TWOV has been around for years with the main change being its expansion to more and more cities. Guangzhou is the home city for China Southern airlines so it is very unlikely they would change rules for that city. In the last 4 years I have done the 24 HR /72 HR through Beijing a number of times and its actually a great way to enter China as the immigration lines to the counter are usually a lot smaller.

Have been to Guangzhou multiple times after 2014 crackdown and have found many establishments empty or non operative.
One of the oasis still available is Kama Club.
What a club with a collection of Latinos, Arabs, CIS & Local girls.
I have never seen a perfect collection of Latinos especially Colombians in this part of the world for this price.

Actually, a number of Chinese friends have told me that there are VIP / hotel rooms upstairs for the rich. Well, perhaps the club has been remodelled, or maybe just that you did not qualify.
I do have some more information regarding the club (from a long term Guangzhou resident), but according to your logic, I would be a jerk to provide this information. So I won't! And I could not give a fuck!
And I don't know whether or not you picked up the vibe that obnoxious, loud disco clubs are not my scene! So I am certainly not going to visit!

My experience is that WGs extend their 'use by' date by shifting overseas where they find new appreciative customers. If they are young and beautiful they tend to stay in their home country and fawned over by the locals. I agree that there are always exceptions.
