I haven't visited one during my last visit in GZ, but I had imagined that BBS would not offer much luxury except pleasure.
As I realize you are one of the most experienced in GZ forum, could you tell us where is the best place to pick up girls? Any specific bar? Is there still a lot of action around Garden Hotel?
Please clear the picture for us if you know!

I do not monger much in the city since I stay in the suburbs. That said, I was by the Garden Hotel yesterday and still saw the LE hanging on the corner across from Starbucks. I didn't check the situation on the other side of Huanshi Rd. in the direction of the Gitic.
I have not been in the bars in a long time so I cannot comment.

You will find FLs as usual around Garden Hotel, in the street beside between Starbucks and the Tang disco, on the other street side around the bars there (Hill Bar etc.).
The quality is mixed, I never experienced it as great, its a hit or miss. I had some hits the last few years, even some regulars but rather seldom compared with other bigger hunting grounds in China (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, DG).
I would not be scared by the LE in this area, they belong to it like regulars.
The bigger problem is that the hotels in this area are not GF, with the Garden as the top runner with the "off-limits-policy" after 11 pm. But after 11 pm the life starts for me. If you search than you will find some hotels mentioned here which are different. The Ka Ying is one of those addresses along the Huanshi Lu. Its not a five-star place, but excellent for all mongering activities.
I am talking mainly about FLs, not about the BBS, KTV or Saune scene. If you are patient enough, not fixed on a certain type of girl or narrow minded in your expectations, then you will get your share, may be not every night, but then every second.
I am a frequent visitor in GZ since ten years and I have been seldom left this city disappointed. I am somehow fixed on happy nights in the LT mode which is generally more difficult than ST. When I have been hunting from place to place fixed on a special type of girl, driven with a short time window then I have been never successful in Guangzhou, because simply there is no big selection: its not Wanchai, not Nana, not OT, not TongRenLu.
But on the other side when I left my day behind me in a relaxed mindset, sitting over a beer in Cave, Tang or Hill Bar without the compulsive behavior to find a certain type of lady now and not later, . Then I have been almost every time lucky and with a satisfied feeling on the next morning.
On the first view all those places in GZ are not attractive. But if you give yourself the chance for a second relaxed view you will find always a jewel for the night. Then its in your hand to have done the right hotel selection in advance (which is the bigger problem because of this damned restricted policy in most of the big hotels).
In my observations this situation has been stable over the years in GZ, with or without LE, during the trade fair or outside these two hot periods. Of cause the price negotiations are more difficult during the fair time.
The reports on GZ in this forum are like flashlights with a short lifecycle: one day the "Street of Gold" has been excellent during a certain night, on another day its near Tang disco or the street behind the Garden. The places are not really changing, but the extend of activity can be very different from night to night. So don't be fixed, stroll around, be relaxed, take your time for a "second or third view", then you will have success even without the "latest flashlight" reports here on ISG.

I would be very happy if that is true.No, I never had any other experience beside Chinese girls in GZ.
I have seen once in a while African ladies, also some Russians in the disco scene, but I was not hunting for them.

I will be travelling to GZ on November 1st, 2008 for the first time. I have done mongering in places like Bangkok, Singapore, Kualalampur, Toronto, Winnipeg, Montreal and a few other places. However this would be my first time in China and Guangzhou to be more specific.
I have been going through a lot of reports posted here by a lot of experienced mongers and have gathered quite a bit of knowledge. Yet I feel I need to have more info. I will definitely be posting my reports with pictures after my visit to GZ(will be back on the 8th Nov.)
What I have gathered so far is that Street walkers are found around Garden Hotel and Starbucks with some hanging around the nearby club Tang/Hill bar. I also recall a few members mentioning about Law enforcement people hanging in the corners. Now my question is:
1. Are they of any trouble? What if they catch me talking to a SW and bargaining?
I guess the prices range from Rmb 300 ST to Rmb 700/800 LT for SWs. Please let me know if the info is right or wrong and how much do they usually increase during the canton fair time.
I also learnt that KTV, Sauna and spa's are places where Full service can be acquired. I understand they charge a bit more which would probably range from anywhere Rmb 500 to Rmb 1000 for ST. I guess I have to bargain with the mamasan/papasan about this. I also found out that Sauna's/Spa's sometimes only offer handjobs and with some exception to blowjob (the infamous fire/ice)
I also got to know that there are BBS which caters services with relatively cheaper price than the sauna/spa/KTV.
Now, my question would be to all of you guyz who've been to GZ and experienced the heavenly pleasures:
1. Can you please mention some good KTV/SPA/SAUNA places with their addresses?
2. Can someone please tell me about the Club Tang scene/Hill bar scene where I am actually planning to go for some freebies if possible for the whole night.

I have a detailed report coming guys, but I mention the important points:
This is not a GF friendly hotel. I had a big discussion with the hoitel manager to let a girl come up to my room and that was before 11.00 p.m. After 11.00 FORGET IT!!!!
The restaurant is VERY chinese food oriented
There is not hot water all the time
The breakfast is also Chinese oriented.
Most of the stuff doesn't speak english
If you don't mind about all these things, HAVE A PLEASANT STAY!

You can find many SW around Mcdonads, opposite China Marriot.
I don't have much time now for full reports, but I will be reporting on this weekend. I can give you some information.
I hate to dissapoint you, but most of the good hotels don't allow any guests in the hotels after 11.00 pm during the canton fair. The good news is, that the girls know hotels that cost RMB 80 and the job is done.

Sory for the non mongering question, but I know I am dealing with experts of all types here. WHat is the best and fatest way to get from the GZ airport to Hong Kong? I read about the GZ to Shenzhen bus and train, are they the same?
I stay at the Novatel at the airport my first night. Any action there? I arrive late and will be wasted but a nice massage or special attention would be well received after my travels.

I arrived in GZ and got a taxi to my hotel. I was staying in South America Grand Hotel. FYI, don't take any taxi from the drivers within the arrival area, but get out of the airport and get an official registered taxi. Ii was cost you much less!
I registered by an escort site (paid USD70) and got the tel. numbers of about 15 escort girls in GZ. Most of the numbers did not exist any more, some of them did not speak english and one of them was not living in GZ.
Just two girls were available to come, so I invited one of them to come. They were not really in the top of my list, but I didn't want to get out of the room and go for hunting, since I was already tired from the trip.
We agreed that she would come at 10 p.m.
She came on time and I got a tel. call from the reception that a guest is waiting to come upstairs. I told them that I am expecting a guest and I aksed them to let me guest come to my room.
I was looking forward for the nice time I would have!
After more than 10 minutes, nobody came, so I decided to call the girl and ask her where she was. She was very upset and told me that the manager refused to let her come to my room. I was very surprised and went down to find her and talked to her.
She was waiting outside of the hotel and I could see that she was realy upset and stressed. So long nice evening I thought.
Anyway, I took her and told her to come upstrairs with me and I would settle it. We went to the lift and up to the floor. I knew that there is a security in front of the elevator, so I didn;t expect that the problems were over. As expected, the guard stopped her and called the manager. The manager came after a few minutes and explained to me that it is a rule that during the canton fair they don't let any visitors get in guest's rooms at night and not even in the day, if they don't carry passport with them.
Unfortunately the girl didnt have her passport with her.
After some long discussions, they let her to come into my room till 11.00 p.m. It was already 10.40 p.m.
The girl was quite stressed and so was I. I was very disappointed, because I was going to stay there for another 2 nights and I would have the same problem each time!
Anyway, we went to the room and hat a BBBJ and a quicky.
11.10 p.m. she was out....
Things got better in the third night. More to that coming next week, since I have to go now.

However there is no detail info about this hotel other than it is close to Garden Hotel.

Thanks. My God, . I have given a very detailed description how to WALK from the Garden Hotel to Kaying.
Beside this there is a well known worldwide search-machine (you don't need a proxy for this page in China, its such easy.):

. What a wonder, I don't know which God provides all the informations with address, stars, prices, map. Even the address for the local taxi driver from remote hunan. If he is able to read, which I guess since I have a high opinion about Hunan people (. Of cause mainly about the girls from there.).
Then after all the stress in your research work we will be very happy to know what are the results. Please make a little contribution within this forum what are the results of your work.
Then continue to ask and we will be very happy to answer all your questions on a level which will be more in accordance with the intentions of this forum and what might be not answered by the well known search-machine.

Anyways,about your question....yes mate,this hotel is a Girl friendly hotel and doesnt have any problem in allowing girls after 11pm. U just have to register them at the front desk if she's staying over night. Secondly,it's very cheap compared to other hotels. I must let you know that this is a budget hotel with the price of USD$ 29/night after canton fair. I stayed at the business suite which isnt bad.

Finally found some time to write my second report
I returned to the hotel and was quite tired. After 2-3 hours of relaxing, the hunters instinct woke up!
I had a plan: Since no visits were allowed after 11.00 p.m., I should arrange a visit at 8.00 p.m.! The plan was to find somebody this night and invite her to come on the next evening to my room. I took a taxi to the Garden Hotel and walked to the bars on the opposite site. I only saw one SW and she was not nice at all.
I went into a bar and took a seat, but the music was extremely loud and I wouldn't be able to speak with any girl, so I had a drink quickly and left.
I walked around for a few minutes and saw no action. I didn't have much time, since it was getting late, so I took a taxi to the China Marriot.
As soon as I got out of the taxi, I realized that the situation is much better here. A few girls were waiting for customers and also two "agents" were all over me. I talked to one of them and asked her if she has russian girls. She answered yes, but told me that they are expensive. I didn't have a problem with that, but I told her it's for tomorrow and not for today. I took her card (you can see it in a previous post of mine) and was ready to leave. She asked me then if I wouldn't be interested in a chinese girl for tonight. Ii told her that my hotel is not GF and she said she can take me to a hotel just nearby for 80 Rmb. The girl was there in no time, even before I agree. She told me that she would come with me for 400+80 for hotel.
The girl was very young and cute. I couldn't refuse. We took a taxi and went to the hotel. Very basic, but not dirty as I was afraid of. For the case, it was just fine.
We underessed, had a shower and went to bed. She wanted to give me a CBJ, but I insisted on BBBJ (my favorite sport :)
It was the worst BBBJ of my life..... The girl was doing it really wrong! After a few minutes she was complaining that she could not do it any more and it was fine with me, since I could not really enjoy it. She then jumped on it and enjoyed the ride...
I finished in this position and I was ready to go to the hotel for a good night sleep.

I had arranged the Russian girl to come to my room at around 8.00 p.m.
Unfortunately the agent called me and told me that the girl was working all night and she wanted to relax before coming to my room. I explained to her the problem with the 11.00 p.m. limitation again, but she said it wouldn't be a problem, because she is not chinese.
I went for a clean and professional massage in the hotel spa and returned at around 10.00. She called me and said that they are coming now. I said ok and went to the lobby to wait for her. They showed up half an hour later, but the girl was not the young sexy girl I asked for!!!! She was at her late 30's with some more kilos than I like. I told the agent, that this is not exactly when I was expecting and she wanted to negotiate price :D. I said "no thanks" and went to the elevator to go upstairs. She then told me that there is another girl much better and she would try to reach her. I had nothing to loose, so I sat with her in the lobby and waited. It was very funny to watch her trying to arrange girls for every westener she saw in the lobby :).
She was calling and calling and calling, but no results!!! To cut the story short, she arranged a chinese girl to come and if the security would let her pass, I would pay after in the room.
I was very surprised that the security (the same that didn't let the other girl pass) asked her a few questions and then he let her pass!!!! I think the girl that came on the first night had a really bad attidute with the security guy and that's why we had such a big trouble letting her in.
I think her name was Lili. She was very nice and really did everything I told her. BBBJ and many positions. I thought I paid for 1 round, but she stayed for a second round as well. It was a nice surprise! I was very happy, so I gave her a good tip!

Has anyone got info on the scene in Zhao Qing? I'll be there from Nov. 30th til Dec 2nd for a holiday. I'm staying at the Dynasty Hotel which has a sauna. Does anyone know if it offers full service?

I went for a clean and professional massage in the hotel spa and returned at around 10.00. She called me and said that they are coming now. I said ok and went to the lobby to wait for her. She was calling and calling and calling, but no results!!! To cut the story short, she arranged a chinese girl to come and if the security would let her pass, I would pay after in the room.
I was very surprised that the security (the same that didn't let the other girl pass) asked her a few questions and then he let her pass!!!! I think the girl that came on the first night had a really bad attidute with the security guy and that's why we had such a big trouble letting her in.
I think her name was Lili. She was very nice and really did everything I told her. BBBJ and many positions. I thought I paid for 1 round, but she stayed for a second round as well. It was a nice surprise! I was very happy, so I gave her a good tip!

For GF Hotels, in general the higher price hotels the more girl unfriendly. In other words, the cheaper hotels are more likely to be GF hotels. Sorry cannot help specifically with Hyatt and Carlton.

This happens every year, newbies asking for help and information during the fair in April/Oct. They promise to post a report afterwards. When the fairs over, majority will disappear and only 2 to 3 might post a report.
This is why I never post a reply to their queries in the first place. They ask all the newbie questions, do not RTFF and never post a report.
They arrive in GZ with pockets full of money, overpay for action and leave the WGs with the impression that all foreigners are BSD. After they leave, it always takes time before the girls to return to reality.

You are right there, but because I like it clean and luxurious, I have decided that next time I will not have a GF hotel as priority. I will just go to a cheap hotel when I need it to make the job and return to my nice hotel.

Many SW near China Hotel Marriot. A few reports back I attached a name card of a lady that can arrange to send you girls anywhere in GZ, in case you don't have much time for hunting.

I'm not going to ask for freebies, but since I am relatively new to mongering I am hoping I could be given the tools to help myself.

Finally, what's the best way to go about asking? What do I say? I don't want to seem awkward about it like the last two times.
I'm currently slated to arrive in Guang Zhou tomorrow (not sure which hotel yet) for two nights.

There are some telltale signs for BBS. Pink lights, girls just sitting around, nobody getting their haircut. Normally, if they are wearing a uniform, it is HJ only, especially with "WenZhou" in the name of the place. If not, it is usually FS.
For sauna, it is a bit more difficult. Normally, the higher end joints only offer a HJ. It is the lower end places that offer FS. Legit saunas have a common shower and dressing room, sauna/steam and pool area, etc. FS saunas just have the rooms in which there may or may not be any sauna or steam facilities in the bathroom, sometimes just a standard hotel room. If they take you directly to a room, you are almost guaranteed. If the give you a key to a locker, you are probably a HJ at best.
I usually get straight to the point and ask if I am not sure. There are some politer words to use such as "Chen Tao" (sp?) for FS.

I never had any issues with LE. Saunas with FS seem to be legal. Massage parlors also. I was impressed that once in a massage parlor that nothing else except HJ was allowed, the girls wouldn't give me a BJ even for 1000 RMB.
I asked a driver once to take me to a FS sauna, but he didn't understand. Maybe you should have a picture with you of a man having sex with a lady! :D

You have made some good points, but if taken completely literally, I would never leave my hotel room. I know you are very cautious due to your own personal experience in the past.
One must be vigilant wherever they monger, however, I still reckon, although it is technically illegal as you state, the chance of getting busted in China nowadays is pretty low and it is pretty safe to walk around GZ if you follow a few basic rules like don't follow anyone to an unknown place. And, mongering with a wingman is always a good idea.
That said, I would not suggest a newbie laowai monger to wander into the very local mongering areas alone without any language skills or experience. I do it because I have a little of both.

I was carefull and always watched me back, but in certain cases I put my self in a higher risk than I should have had. I was lucky and everything went well. I never carry passport, credit cards or valuables. Only sufficient cash for the fun of the night!

I can not help you much, because I find SW more exciting, but I kindly ask you to report how is the situation with the hotels on "normal" days.
If you read some of the past reports, during Canton fair you are not allowed to bring a guest in your room after 11 p.m.

I stayed at the Garden Hotel. Without any information I ventured out around nine to look for some action within the vicinity of the hotel. On the opposite side of the hotel behind the Best Western Hotel, I came across a sauna called Bayun Leisure Center. They had a menu in English with 90min massage + HJ at RMB400 and 90min massage + BJ at RMB600. Icould get the BJ option down to 520 which was probably still overpriced. Performance of massage and BJ were ok, but nothing to praise or complain about.
Back at the hotel I happened to share the elevator with a mama-san and one of her Girls whom she was probably delivering. She had a room key card and the security guard knew her. She asked me whether I wanted a room service, but I declined for obvious resons. As I left the other morning I didn't get her tel number either.

Is Huashi gonna be a Girl Friendly hotel - Oh I know I know - most hotels in china ARE GF - but this hotel is suppossedly part and parcel of and invested by the Huashi South China Normal University. PLus in the past - when trying to check in to a hotel close to the GZE train station with a "friend' in tow - had been told outright that they will NOT allow unregistered "guests' in and that if I wanted to register my friend in, I must also produce matrimonial proof!! True!! And this was only a year or so ago!! (plus of course I see all these posts about hotels not allowing 'guests' in after 11 pm during the now past Canton Trade Fair)
2. Tianhe Tianhe.... should not be a problem for "good" saunas/K-OK at the - or a nearby - hotel - right? But I really would not have the time to partake of these pleasures and would need to conveniently go to a nearby BBS or do a call in to my hotel room. Question is - where are these BBS's in Tianhe. If not - anybody got good phone numbers to call?
3. This may seem a daft question - but what would you guys suggest as far as entertaining/hosting my couple - a Youngish very highly educated and rather conservative professional couple? Any good, reasonably priced and native to GZ type restaurants, Bars, Clubs? Must see sightseeing places?? Jeez - when was the last time I played "regular tourist?"
4. Come to think of it - what is the name of that Big Disco surrounded by a Chinese type garden with sitting out areas here and there on the side of a hill. It's in town and a very pleasant place to have drinks and chit chats - whilst ogling the young and stylish GZ Yuppie crowd. Anybody know which place I mean and the address? (Damn - I used to go there pretty regularly everytime I get to GZ in the past.... and now I've forgotten??!! Jeez - OWL's probably right ... I AM getting old!!)

In my last stayed in GZ I tried the massage for 199, it basically sucks, however the girl told me that if I was interested, and then she showed me the menu with Sauna with "beautiful girl" for 498 or so. But I was disappointed so rejected the offer for next time, which came last night. So I told the hostess to get me to the Sauna, she took me there after walking a large corridor and a staircase to the 3rd. Floor, where two girls with a decent enough English, explained to me the service available oil massage with HJ for 498 or BJ for 598. I chose the BJ, the girl offering the service was very specifically " can not touch the girl only with mouth"! ? , after that the typical routine of getting undressed shower and into a small room with two massage beds. It was early in the afternoon so the place was deserted. After a few minutes my girl came, a bit on the chubby side, with nice attitude, looks on the 7, started with a sort of massage but got directly to play with my little bro. After some 10 mins. See my report about the same sauna two posts below. I was there around 21:00 but it was deserted too. I didn't let me trade up to a BJ for some time until she phoned the manager and after a short discussion over the phone she offered 520. I also insisted that I only have BBBJ or nothing. I spent the night at the Guangdong Victory last weekend. It is a really nice hotel on Shaimian Island and excellent value at around 450RMB on elong or ctrip. A beautiful place but lots of Americans adopting Chinese babies gives the place a bit of a weird vibe.
I had done some research before I left and a very old post mentioned full service in the Sauna but wasn't very specific. When I checked in, I asked the bell boy (in Mandarin) if the sauna was full service, he said it was and also gave me a mobile number for delivery (ie not from the sauna). I went to the sauna and asked discretely again about full service, the receptionist pulled out a calculator and punched in an amount somewhere around 500RMB.
Unfortunately I had to go out to dinner and ran out of time to sample the service. Hopefully another monger can use this info to try it out and add another place to reasonably few options in GZ. If anyone goes, please post!
Funny, I have just been at the Victory Hotel last weekend and after I had seen that Sauna place at previous visits at that hotel I decided to give it a try this time.
I stayed at the Western (new) building which is a 2 minutes walk away from the sauna. You can bring a girl to your room but you cannot use the elevator without your room key (which is not the case in the eastern building). In the afternoon I met a "BBS-take-away" in the elevator. She just finished with her customer and offered me her services but I declined.
However, the business hours of the sauna are from 1 pm to 6 am and I went there in the evening at 8:30 pm. And oh yes, they offer full service. I tried the whole package and after more than 3 hours inside I paid 600,. RMB. I had the sauna, foot and leg massage which was just so-so (each massage was 38,. RMB) and 90 minutes in a private room with a bit crazy but very enjoyable, tall girl from Chongqing. It seems they mostly have quite tall girls there: a Chinese guy ordered a specific girl at the foot massage room and as she was not at work the manager tried to call her. Without success and so they brought a line-up in the public massage room and all of the girls were taller than 1. 65 m. As I was a first-time customer they didn't sow me a few girls to choose from but as I liked the Chongqing girl the first moment I saw her I didn't complain.
English was spoken by all managers and overall it was a quite relaxing and comfortable time. Only donwside was that they try to sell and charge you for everything (massages for feet, legs, arms, pedicure, pyjamas and even the tea and fruits). One further thing I have never seen at a sauna: in the public massage room the have a kind o business center with 4 computers connected to the internet and I don't know whether they charge for the use of it. But it wouldn't be a surprise though.
My girl received a text message from a guy from Shanghai after her job with me was done at 11:30 pm and she asked him whether she should come to his hotel (China Hotel), so it seems that regular customers can pull out the girls from the sauna to their room.

That's what I did and I did have a good time in Guangzhou after all.
First, I got invited to a Beauty contest at Baiyun Convention Centre (don't even think of going there without arangements for transport out as there's nothing else there - and definitely not taxis!!) and it was quite an experience. I was made to come early for the rehearsals - which is when (according to my friend) the time to get to know the gals and extract a few "contacts." OH OK, there were a few plonkers who just drank as much free wine as they could wrangle from the exhibitors - but for the most part, most attendees did seem to know how to do wine tasting. This was followed by a brief tour of the BBS areas behind the Garden hotel - but then it was time to go to OAH's buddy's Italian restaurant at the Home garden Mall for a deliciojs meal.
Early morning is NOT a good time for mongers - and thus I decided that the best thing to do was to arrange a city tour for the young professional couple I hosted. Now I'm an expert on the tourist sites of GZ!!!! (yeah - right!!). The Chen Clan temple, Sun Yat Sen memorial, Jiamen island, Ersha island ,the 5 Goat statues, shang yia lu, beijing lu - been there done that. Even buying RMB75, 30" real pearl necklaces at the jewelry wholesale market. Yup, done that.
Some highlights are those places I knew from before -
- Made in Kitchen Fusion Restaurant (8/F Mayflower Mall, Beijing Lu), that magnet for the GZ yuppies with the dramatic lighting, catwalk, soaring roof and totally out of this world toilets (anybody want 4 X RMB10 discount coupons I was given when paying the bill?),
- The Golf Club (N. Gate of Yuexiu Park, Huanshi Zhong Lu) - a KTV/Disco main building smack in the middle of a park with a labyrinth of outdoor seating areas, pagodas, huts spread all over the place - where one can watch a parade of the young and beautiful of GZ.
- Teem Mall in Tianhe (thanks for the heads up superforce!) which is just perfect for the visitor to browse and eat at.
OH OK, I did do a bit of mongering - dropped off at the intersection of Zhongshan Daidaoxi and Tian fu Lu (close to where I was staying at) I wondered around and managed to get a quicky HJ as I was tired and couldn't bother to hunt up any other services. A bit expensive at RMB100 - but what the heck. It was conveneint!!

There are cheaper rooms at this hotel and although I didn't bother to see them, I figure that they are really old and run-down - and not worth to stay at for the RMB 60-80 savings. But for those wanting real bargain accomodations - this may be a good choice as the location - (like I said, just behind the Garden hotel and most of the ISG publicized mongering locations) - cannot be beat.

SEAJI stayed in the cheaper rooms and they are OK good 3 star. Hotel is a green from my experiance. Is a massage room on one floor, but is not mentioned. I did not sample. Plenty of talent all around this area from bbs to street girls, to bar girls and high end and Russian. First thing first, have you considered Dongguan - Chang Ping, Chang An, Dong cheng, Houjie etc for your mongering activities instead of Guangzhou? Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and even areas just outside of GZ like Foshan or Panyu? NOw, I ain't no expert on GZ - not by far - but I can pretty well assure you that mongering in GZ is NOT going to be as easy or as economical as in other areas close by. You should RTFF the Dongguan and Zhuhai threads.
Second, may I ask why you would ask about Russian gals....when you're gonna be mongering in China? Why not take advatnage of what is on "special offer" in china - which is of course - Chinese Gals!!

SEAJAnal in Vietnam is mostly a no-go unless you are really really lucky. Cambodia is also not great place for anal, some do so but thats the exception. Best bet is in Philly or Thailand- but stick to Pattaya for the most selection in this dept., also the best place for 3 somes. Also agree that I won't be looking for Russians in China, unless a beauty lands on my lap for free.--IMO

If you really want a Russian, and frankly I wouldn't hunt for one, they basically jumped me at my hotel, you will find them in tang club opposite end from garden hotel, expect quotes of at least 1000-2000 plus, frankly not worth it.

At 4:00AM, there must have been 25-30 SW on the road running perpendicular to the Bravo Hotel. Some of them looked pretty good and I suspect they might have been left over KTV girls that ended up empty handed at the KTV.

I am pretty sure that the Rosedale Hotel is girl friendly. There are 3 BBS that I know of off of Jiangnan (Zhong?) Lu but they are difficut to find.
Directions: From Rosedale Hotel, head down Jiangnan Lu towards the Haizhu Bridge. You will see an Agricultural Bank on the left side, turn left into the alley next to it. There is a tree in the middle of the road about 150 meters in. The first BBS is just past the tree on the right side. If you keep going past this shop and follow the road to the right and down a hill, you come to a T intersection. Turn right and take the second right at the public toilets. There are another 2 shops about 50 meters in.

On my trip to China, i stayed at GZ for a night. Having stayed in many places in Southern china, I have noticed one thing about GZ taxis. Shenzhen's Taxi start at 12.50 and in GZ, being such a large city, their cabs start at 7 bucks or is it 8 bucks. I was shocked to see that their cab fares to be so cheap. But later i realized it's probably because of the following reasons:
1. GZ is a lot more spread out than Shenzhen. Therefore it takes lot more money to get from point A to point B.
2. GZ is an old city, built around or on top of another old city. Therefore their transportation routes are really messed up and inefficient. This results in heavy traffic, one of the worst in China, and it takes a lot of time to get from one point to the other, even if it's only 2-3 Kilometers, just waiting in traffic alone makes you pay more than in Shenzhen.

5. green

I did manage to sneak out twice during the 4 days I was there. The first night was Saturday. And went to the Sauna at the Victory Hotel at 53 Shamian. Just 4 blocks from the White Swan. The entrance to the sauna is on the west side of the hotel on a side street. The managers all speak english. And the facilities are very good. Very clean showers, steam & dry, chairs with individual TV's. Took advantage of the Full Body Massage. Taken to a room where I was introduced to a very attractive 21 year old woman. 5"5", large natural breasts (made for a great body massage), slender. Just my type. I was given the option to change. First time in GZ, here for the Canton Fair like everybody else.
I booked the Silver River Hotel on wotif.com as it was relatively cheap (for Fair time price). It is out of the way being a bit north of the GZ East railway station (14 RMB taxi ride actually).
Not really a 4 star hotel and the rooms are a bit shabby and although I was on the 10th floor the traffic noise was still high. Must say, the bed was comfortable and I slept very well for the two nights I stayed.
Anyway, I RTFF before going and was pleased to read they had a barber shop with take outs in the tiny shopping area beyond the lobby.

Quick report on Marriott hotel.
Taking girls in here from off the street outside McDonalds is fully possible - however you will be asked to sign the girls in by the security guard. I had some business in Guangzhou end of last month. Unfortunately during the Canto fair, so prices in hotels were up.
I stayed in Panyu (South-East Guangzhou) in a Chinese hotel called Nan Fan Yiyuan. Hardly anybody spoke English, but they had some english-students there during the fair to assist.
The hotel has a decent restaurant and a sauna / massage center. Good, but rather expensive. A decent massage with hand-job in the center costs 265RMB. You can also take girls to your rooms for 2 shots for 520RMB.

I checked into the 168 motel in Luoxi last night with a freebie. I noticed some WGs hanging around the parking lot in front of the hotel and there was a call shortly after I checked in. First of all, don't you know that all SW ask for more than they will accept? Most in GZ will go for 200 RMB ST during normal times. I get them for 100-150 RMB in the suburbs. Second, do you usually give waiters a 33% tip for good service?
With all due respect, I suggest that you stop paying such ridiculous prices in GZ or stay away altogether. It makes it more difficult for those of us that live here.

I am an ABC long time reader of the forum and have finally had a chance to travel to China. Now I have returned and can post my first report. I speak and understand barely minimal putonghua as in enough to get by when asking for prices, ages and home provinces. I speak and understand a Cantonese dialect not widely spoken thoughout the province but it is close enough that it helps me be able to say that I can get by with minimal Cantonese language abilities.
I have visited Gaungzhou and stayed at a friend’s place in Dashi town in the Panyu district near GZ. I have RTFF and learned about BBS, Sauna and KTV. My mongering activities were restricted to solo opportunities to venture out and the first time out I thought play it safe and try a hotel.
When I RTFF, I learned that most business hotels have extra services. I visited the KingFive Hotel in Panyu at 588 Yingbin Road across from the BMW agency; there is a large banner welcoming visitors to the Canton Trade Fair above the front entrance. The large menu for Massage in the lobby showed the most expensive option being the VIP Korean massage for $198 for 90 minutes. Up to the second floor and asked for the VIP massage, I did not negotiate since this was a published price. The hostess showed me to a room which was a regular hotel room with large bed. Gals came one at a time for me to choose, I chose the second one who petitie and cute, early 20’s from Guangdong in a tracksuit uniform. I showered by myself as she watched tv. The oil massage was very good but only feeling of her legs was allowed as she would step back as I worked my way up to her thighs. As I explored more on foot, I came across some service outlets. First one which I saw but did not sample was up a short alley across from the side entrance to the Panyu Xiang Jiang Hotel at 538 Yingbin Road in Dashi town. Good report on BBS action in Dashi. I will try to find the BBS you refer to since I often monger in the area.
That said, more and more BBS in the Panyu area are being shut down. I went hunting with Mr. B on Sunday late afternoon.
Nanchun: There used to be over 25 BBS in this town. We were told that only 1 was left and they only had 3 girls working at night. A motorcycle took us to a smaller village nearby where they had 6 girls in a room. Price was 100 RMB ST, but the quality was 2-3. We passed.
Shiqi: All the BBS, including the HJ places were shut. There used to be 15-20 places in the center of town.
Shilong: One of my favorite BBS is history. They opened a legit place there. All the FS BBS are gone. There are only a couple of HJ joints left. I went into one and selected a girl. Rate was 40 RMB for the HJ + 120 RMB more to stick it in. No BBBJ available so I walked.
A motorcycle guy approached us and told us everything was shut and offered to take us to a new BBS nearby. Off we went. There were 6-7 girls in the shop, most of them doable. BBBJ is usually not on the menu. Problem is that they try to upsell you early in the session and if they are not successful they rush you out with a quick plain HJ.

You will find some action in HuaDu which is the closest reasonably sized town near the airport. There are several decent 4 star hotels there. QingYuan is further away but there is more action there. Home to the former "1,000 girls street" which no longer exists, there are still some BBS open in the area after dark and SWs near the hotels. There is a new Novatel that I stayed at last year.

your discovery is correct. guangzhou is not the best mongering location by far. if you have the time, i suggest you get on the train to cp. it is only a 45 minute ride and offers everything you can imagine with cheaper prices and more of it.
guangzhou:
ktv is expensive and hit or miss so i rarely do this in gz. many girls will not go out for whatever reason. check first before they sit for long. st starts at 1k and up compared with 500 rmb st, 800 rmb lt in cp.
bbs is usually "slam, bam, thank you ma'am" service. prices are from 130-150 rmb for fs on premises. there are less fs bbs in town now and they are rep001tered all over the place. i was just up the hill (past paddy fields) behind the garden hotel last week and all the hj places are closed too.
sw are near the major hotels e.g. the garden hotel but le troll the area frequently to run them off. a few minutes later, they are back. prices start at 200 rmb for st depending on the season and your negotiation skills. many will start negotiations at 800 rmb.
saunas range from completely legit to fs and everything in between. for example, some girls will give you a bbbj even though it is supposed to be hj finish only. the sauna in the metro building on tianhe bei lu is an example. generally, the places with the better hardware are more legit and those a little rundown offer more services. the sauna at the victory hotel (posted often) is generally a good option for hassle free fs at a fixed price. there are more fs saunas on the outskirts of town e.g panyu.

Better choice is to come few days before, and go to tang to scout. Tang without canton fair is not the same club as tang without CF! We came earlier and tang was our first addres, we spent fantastic night with hotel continuation (of course we paid 2x normal rate due to our ignorance), but when we came next evening when CF started we were in shock! Previous night we were almost "kings in club" where it was only a little number of people and foreigners, and next day, we couldn't even go inside because of the number of guests.
Anyway, we always go there for business, but we decided to visit Guangzhou for little fairs, and the problems ended.
For me personally, the greatest news is that CP is so close to Guangzhou, and we can mix our goals (mongering and business).
But even if Guangzhou isn't a greatest place for mongering in China, I don't know other, so anyway I miss it very much, here in Europe.

In my previous trips to GZ, I usually take a bus down to ZH after work and return the next morning. The bus ride to ZH is much longer then the train ride to CP, but I figure the quality down at ZH ktv would be far better then those in CP. Maybe I am totally wrong on this and I should have just head straight to CP, but I usually stay at 5star hotels (company will pay) and I can find only one such in CP and I also keep reading about safety issues, while ZH is totally safe, to me at least.

I am new to this board and I am eternally grateful for all the info people have contributed. I will write my report when I get to Guangzhou again in Sept.
In the meantime, I wonder if anyone had experience with both CP and Zuhai?
In my previous trips to GZ, I usually take a bus down to ZH after work and return the next morning. The bus ride to ZH is much longer then the train ride to CP, but I figure the quality down at ZH ktv would be far better then those in CP. Maybe I am totally wrong on this and I should have just head straight to CP, but I usually stay at 5star hotels (company will pay) and I can find only one such in CP and I also keep reading about safety issues, while ZH is totally safe, to me at least.

I was under the impression that CP mostly have factories girls but ZH has many Macau girls taking breaks in ZH. I have looked up photos of CP girls on Hongkong and Taiwan websites and they are usually not to the quality I found in ZH KTV.
I only go KTV, by the way, so I have no idea about BBS/Sauna, as I enjoy the singing part very much.
About hotels, I can see dozens of 4-5 star hotels on elong, ctrip etc in ZH, but CP hotels are not listed on such mainstream travel sites. So do I just book them from hotel websites? I would much prefer have my room booked before heading down there.

They are normally "over the hill" and unable to work in the better venues. Most are in the 3-4 range and some are downright scary to look at. Just one step above the hutong girls for 30 RMB. FS can be had as low as 60RMB without BJ. They normally want 80-100 RMB for BBBJCIM. I have not seen anything decent in the area for some time, but I got lucky the other night. This area is not for the faint hearted. These girls have no scruples. I've caught them with their hands in my pockets whilst giving me head before. The one time I elected for FS, I was taken to a boarding house with rooms lined up and one shared bath. When the girl insisted I leave my clothes in the room during the shower, I bolted. It was an obvious set-up. You really need a car to monger here but I suppose you could hop in a taxi and cruise through, as well.

There is a train just about every 15 minutes GZ-CP and it's only RMB 50 or so (forgot) and like you said, it takes less than an hour from GZ.
As far as safety is concerned, it is a consideration just about anywhere in China - but its just because of the sheer volume of mongers coming to CP = ergo the sheer numbers of CP "incidence - that makes it seems as if CP is really all that bad.
Zhuhai is also quite bad - but the scenic and holiday like atmosphere that makes it seem as if Zhuhai is all safe and tranquil

And to answer your China specific question - yes, Sex diseases ARE a problem in China - especially since there are a lot of gals who may be infected and NOT know about it as they are asymptomatic. Then there are the AIDS villages where the people are so poor that they resort to selling their blood as a means of survival.... and of course contact AIDS.
Then there is the China specific problem of Hepatitis which is rampant here - and you can easily contact hepatitis thru sexual contact. So yes, be careful..... but this is not only in China but anywhere. OK??

There is an ICBC bank there and right next to it there is a small street, walk along that street around 200m until you reach the end, right in front of you will be a cool sauna it's english name is winalite gulf!.

I have read from some other forums that people have been able to pick up hot chicks from those bars in bar street in Guangzhou along the river.
I wonder if anyone knows more about that. There are generally two areas of of bars along the river, on the south or north side. I know there are plenty of SW on the northside, but they are mostly old and ugly. I have never seen WG on those bars on the north side, except I heard a lot of people finding hot girls inside baby face, but that is a similar situation as Tang club and gets really crowded.

So besides Karma, do you know any other good places? I have seen report mostly around that area of GZ but very little on the bars along the river.
Tang and Cave and Gypsy King are all totally hit or miss and extrememly rare to have any quality.

I just spent a few days in GZ I had planed to take a freebe who got the red rag so left her behind. I did read some of the reports but most were on the west side and I found the ones near the 5 star hotels disappointing in the past. Also I had no action outside my hotel middle of no ware big mistake but the freebie was the planed entertainment.
The master is correct head to Dong gang. GZ is dead are you sure its in China? The one SW I got was so bad average score -5. I got a motor bike taxi to take me some ware it was a 40 rmb leg massage that was it. Not even me naked great but not what we or I wanted.
Be care full on the subways they go a long way fast and finish early I had a scary taxi ride for miles at a cost of 80Rmb. I also seen nothing walking around couple of signs I did see possible they were all locked up. As I use the buses normally in SZ so this way you get to see a lot of places, but in GZ I always take the subway so miss this great mongering tool. Next time I will line up some freebes on MSM. or stay in Dong gang. And too proud to ask the forum. As a footnote saw a place as the train pulled out.

I am a GZ regular and I don't know what can be found in GZ as only the few bars and a few saunas (in the East) only have HJ at best. I will try to explore on my upcoming trip next week.
I do know I would reply with whatever I know if I can help, as I have also been through this business of spending hours to try to read every post but ended up not finding what is really needed; and would be best if people can just ask on this board, as long as they will make the effort in helping others later on.

But I still got some questions:
1. As I understand from the forum concerning being GF and having FS saunas the most siutable hotels to stay are Victory Hotel and Ka Ying Hotel (Guess now it's called Sherwood Int.) So can anyone give me an advice about these two hotels concerning their distances to Pazhou Center? And any other suggestions about hotels?

Huanshi Dong Lu is home to Gipsy King Bar and the Cave bar which seems to border on the edge of p4p if your mum lets you out late. Reading the forum it seems to be a lucky place. I should have tried it last week but my brain was dead and I did not read the forum enough at least 10 times. its all there when you return haha.

ThanksI do not have up to date info on this but judging from my past experience and all the crack down happening around GZ, I would say non of the hotels in that area can bring WG back after 11pm. I found the Hotel Canton and the President Hotel are the best bets. I tried many hotels in GZ and those two I never have trouble whatever the hours and the rates are quite good but might be difficult to get a room, probably due to precisely the reason you were asking. Both hotels have nice rooms and both walking distance to subway.

I was busy in Guangzhou all day with work and at 10pm I still have a document that I must read but I was not able to concentrate. Here I am in South China reading some miserable paper when everyone else was having fun. Then I thought maybe I can read that on the train? I called BSD and asked if it was too late to come to Dong Guang Chang Ping (cp) and he said I just needed to get the east station before 10:40 to catch the last train. I said, ok, please book me a Clipper steam room and I rushed back to my apartment in TianHe to pick up a few things and got a taxi that dropped me off at the station at 10:35. The train from Guangzhou to Shenzhen was really comfortable and the 40 min ride to cp was just what I needed to get myself focus on reading that damn thing.
Checked into my room at 11:40, asked BSD is he can find me a small ktv room (at such hour in such a short notice!!!) and he worked his magic and found me a room at PP with 400 minimum. To make a long story short, I had two pretty girls singing love songs with me before the clock struck 12. Even though the DJs are the leftovers from all night’s picking, I was able to find good quality rejects(sitting girls) from other rooms. Since I wanted to try the HK-Taiwanese routine of ktv drinking followed by sauna, I let both girls go at 2:15am and got the SMS from BSD that a very pretty 56* will be waiting for me at Clipper. While waiting for my bill, the two DJ chatted with me and the prettier one asked where I was staying... wow, what should I do!!! Well, since my mind was set for trying out DG sauna and 568 was waiting for me, I took down the DJ’s number for the future and went back to Clipper. To make a long story short, BSD was absolutely right, 56* had a stunning body and great service….. Next morning I got up at 7 and back to GZ office at 8:45.

Hi all.
Oh yes I did RTFF and twice.
But I still got some questions:
1. As I understand from the forum concerning being GF and having FS saunas the most siutable hotels to stay are Victory Hotel and Ka Ying Hotel (Guess now it's called Sherwood Int.) So can anyone give me an advice about these two hotels concerning their distances to Pazhou Center? And any other suggestions about hotels?
2. There are many clubs mentioned here: Tang, Cave, Gypsy King, Kama (or Karma? ), Celler, Hill. Are these all open and is there anything new to the scene? (Besides South American, Russian, and Chinese ladies)
3. Do you have any other places to suggest (saunas, BBS, KTV). Ok I know alot of names are being mentioned here but since I can't get to them all I would like to try the most worthy ones (FS is inevitable).

I am not familiar with Ka Ying Hotel, but the Victory Hotel is on Shamian Island and not convenient to Pazhou. It is not necessary to stay in a hotel with the sauna. Other saunas are not located in hotels. Pazhou is on the outskirts of town but the subway access is very good. Suggest you stay near a subway station somewhere near the Garden Hotel. This will put you within walking distance to SWs and the clubs. I've not been in the clubs recently. Tang is probably your best bet. The Elephant Bar across the street from the Garden Hotel is an option to test your freebie pick-up skills.
The BBS scene is pretty dead at the moment. KTV is expensive in GZ and not advisable if you are traveling alone. There is a FS Sauna on Yingbin Road in Panyu that is pretty close to Pazhou. I posted about it earlier. I cannot remember the name but it is in a 3 star hotel about 1 km past the Chimelong Hotel on the right side of the road. There is a billboard with a hotel room advertised right out front. You can't miss it. Another couple of options in town are the sauna in the Baiyun Hotel and a sauna next to the Mayor's Building in TianHe. I still reckon the Victory is the best since it is very foreigner friendly.

I have only been to a 2nd tier ktv in GZ and the girls were 5/10/15. A typical small room on any ktv with girls would typically have 1000-1500 minimum, but the worst part was the mandatory tipping for everyone who entered the room, including the cleaning lady. The 5/10/15 is also misleading as only the 5 applies since GZ ktv girls never go out, especially on a first “date”. It is pretty much they are all waiting for the guy who comes back for her again and again and who will agree to buy her an apartment, before she would go out.

Sure enough, just as a report from a couple of years back said. SW's will start to show up outside the Marriott at about 9 in the evening. They are not shy about selling their services. Most are dogs and aggressive at that. I finally found one, after shooing away 5 or 6 that would not qualify for an Alpo can. She seemed nice enough and the price was sure right. 200.

It is shown as Neihuan Rd on the map as it runs on top of Heng Fu Lu. Your best bet to find that place is to start from Garden hotel and head toward Taojin North Rd, as Karma is a short right turn into HengFu Lu emerging from TaoJin North Rd.

Also, Tang is much closer to Garden hotel and pretty much the same group girls would start off at Tang and gather at Karma later.

East Train station, definitely by train, unless you have missed the last train at 10:45pm, otherwise it runs every 15 min, so it is more like a subway train.

This is a very common practice in GZ KTV where many of the girls will not go out with customers. It may be a laowai fear thing, but I have seen many refuse to go with locals and overseas Chinese too.
It is imperative that you ask the mamasan or the girl before she sits down with you or at least before the test period expires if you want to take her out.

If you walk down the alley at the side of the Marriott you will find some BBS with takeaway service for 130-150 RMB ST. I've seen some pretty good talent there in the past.

Too late to go to CP last night so I decided to check out the usual places and found Gypsy King was closed due to renovation, Cave bar had few SW; Tang was still full of them but all old and fat. Head over to Karma and at 1am still barely anybody there, much less in terms of WG.

If your Chinese friends are taking care of the bill, then they should know better? The most expensive ktv is in TianHeDongLu, sitting fee for a girl is 1000. No set fee for take out as most never go out.
Simplest solution is to arrange for one ktv trip to CP and get at least 2 girls to sit with you and get both phone numbers. Then ask one to come to spend GFE weekend with you in GZ. Contact BSD to make needed arrangment.
CP girls are much nicer and simpler and will treat you really well since you have the easy picking of them, while the GZ girls will have easy picking of desperate business travellers who only know Garden hotel and not much else.

CP is Chang Ping in Dongguan, Guangdong province and if you want to RTFF, go to the Dongguan thread.

On my return trip, I decided to take a different route, mainly because I don't want to risk missing my flight from HK airport. A bus/van ride from GZ, CP or SZ seemed risky; and flights from GZ to HK was expensive and not available everyday, or when they do have the flight, it would require getting up really early in the morning.
I then decided on the Zhuhai ferry route, which departs at 9:30 so I can sleep(have fun) till 8:30 in the morning. The key is to make sure the flight departs after 12:30 since there is a 3 hours requirement between Zhuhai ferry and HK flight. My Chicago flight was 12:45 which just worked out perfectly. There was also a RMB100 tax refund that HK government was paying anyone to take this route. When was the last time you were handed a 100rmb by just getting on a comfortable 40 min ferry ride?
Actually, the main reason to go down to Zhuhai was the girls. I will write a separate report later as it can get quite long.
