The Grlden Dream Sauna at the Baoan Hotel in Pudong is full service. (Baoan is near the Purple Mountain Hotel, and not far from the Intercontinental) It is a massive facility. You can see photos of the sauna mixed in with sports facility pictures by following this link.

Pictures of the Sauna are accurate. THe rest area is huge and has lounge chairs with individual TV screens. The sauna bathing area is large enough for a pro football team.

They use a server system, but the manager doesn't want to lose face by putting a substandard lady in the massage room. Service time is 90 minutes and damage is about 780 RMB.

Number 968 is from Dongbei. She has a face that looks a little like the brunette-with-bangs in Pulp Fiction. She has the most majestic rack that I've seen in years. Spectacular. True-to-size 38Ds that have a slightly upward turn, like those old-school Playboy centerfolds. And she has plenty of ass too. Round ass at that. She is not slender, she is meaty. But this is good, as she can take the dick like a champion. Though she does CBJs, her massive rack and GFE attitude while fucking your brains out makes up for it. The set up is for the first 45 minutes to be a full-on massage, the second 45 minutes tis o grind you into the earth. By the way, she will titty fuck you with vast qualtities of oil on her hooters. When the door opened, there was a line of KTV girls 20 yards long rarin' to go. I didn't go in to check it out though, as I was on my way back to for round two with the queen of racks.

Hi Jetsetter, thanks for asking about the girlfriendly place; I have been intending to write and have postponed too many times.

I found a place like that near Jin Sha Jiang Rd. Subway station (line 3/4). It is called Clear Water Bay. To find it walk out of Jin Sha Jiang station (all exits lead south), you will see a Toyota place on the right. Walk under the elevated tracks south toward the river. On your left is the Riverside Hotel, next is Clear Water Bay. There are only Chinese signs until you walk in. This building is 3 stories and has many windows. There is a doorman. Very nice appearance from the outside.

When you first walk in you can take an elevator on the left down to a standard sauna and bath, with many types of hot rooms and baths; or you can take the elevator on the right up to the VIP area.

I first tried this place back in the summer while here with my boss. We wanted only the sauna. It was a very hot day and we wanted to refresh between meetings.

While we were in the basement bath area we were offered to go up to the VIP massage area. My boss declined and I followed his lead.

However I returned a few month ago and went for the VIP.

I believe that it was 880 rmb, but I am not positive.

I went in, asked for the VIP and was led to the elevator on the right. I went up and had a bath and a sauna. Next I was led to another floor to wait for a bit. I think it was the 5th floor. This area was very well appointed with leather furniture and new TVs. After a moment an attendant who could manage a little English came to verify that I wanted a FS massage.

He asked " make law? ". I thought, " yes! Congress! "

I said yes and we returned to the 4th floor and a very nice room. I thought the room was nicer than the Hotel that my company had provided me.

After a short wait a young lady came to the room.

There was no line up, but I would have very likely chosen her, she was an 8 in my book. She had long hair, to her waist. She was tall and full figured.

She told me her Mongolian name was Ha Ma Ji Da. I did not get her number. She also used a Chinese name like, Chen Jin, or something.

I am not sure of how long the time spent was.

This was the first time I had a fire and ice.

After the service she asked me to sign a receipt.

When I returned to the locker and the check out on the 4th floor I saw a few other foreigners speaking English. I managed most of this with out any Chinese language skills.

The rest of the facility was very nice. I saw families there who were enjoying the restaurant.

I think you could take a friend and slip upstairs from the basement.

Price; 880 (I think- don't really remember)

If someone (with some Chinese language skills) tries this place out, I would be interested in knowing if there are any discounts or coupons. Also is there a fishbowl?

Based on below report I went to this sauna tonight (Friday) and I have to say that I disagree with Applecrate.

The Sauna is indeed very nice but definitely not so much more nice as others in SH. I had a line-up of 7 girls, all not good-looking, except for 1, which I obviously took.

She did some basic massage, was very friendly, but did not want to do FS, because of the size. In the end she did it but not with so much pleasure which did not make it nice for me either. I payed 894RMB for 60 min (not 90 as stated on the menu)

Apart from this (I could be unlucky with the girl) I think this Sauna is a no-go compared to others, too pricy for not more fun or better decoration.

Just IMHOAgree with your assessment. To be sure, I have visited quite a few other Saunas since I wrote my commnetary on New Happy Garden back around CHinese New Year. (Heting Elite, Baoan Hotel, and Wisdom Spring on 5F of Hi-Tech Plaza in Puxi.)

These three have as nice, if not nicer decor.

As for your service commentary, the same thing happened to me. Yes, I went back when I was in Puxi and pressed for time. Knew it was overpriced, and did it anyway. The girl was cute, but only so-so in service as the size complaint came up. Basically, it was not a good experience. TIme was also a little short.

Again, I've revised my view of this place downward, and will not be going back. Perhaps if I would have posted my "second visit" commentary, then you could have saved the bucks for a better place.

By the way, in the near future I will post a report about another Shanghai sauna (with a server system) that actually segregates the girls by those who can -- and cannot -- service foreigners based on their ability to handle the size. It's the only place I've found that does this to avoid a "sizeable" problem.

With the limited amount of time you have to "research the board", I think you will find the airport quite nice. It takes a bit of time to get anywhere from PVG as it is a ways out of town. Enjoy your transit.

Yes, Shanghai airport is very nice and you can spend 8hr transit here.

There are alot of things to do.

I think you should spend a few days here before you fly back to the US, but you will need a China visa in advance.

I went to the Peacock once since it had been talked about so much here and didn't like it that much. Enjoyed Le Yuan more. Peacock always tries to upsell for RMB100 tip. Girls aren't anything to write home about. Facilities are worse than Le Yuan, but better than the Nandan Dong Lu one. Nandan Donglu service was superior to either though, not to mention cheaper.Where is the Le Yuan one located?

In 8 hours I think you can do something. It is about 75 minutes from Airposrt to the nice places in center. The sauna's open only ate 2pm with nice girls showing up after 4pm, so this is not an option for you.

The only option is to take a taxi to some BBS on Xiaomuqiao Lu, just south of Xietu. If that is not your taste you can have special massage at Peacock just around the corner on Xietu Lu. You can easily find it with the Peacock sign above the door.

It's been almost a year since my last post just before I left Shanghai last year, so I haven't had anything new to contribute to this thread since. But next month I'm back for a short while and hope that I'll be able to update my reviews.

I'm hoping the places I had visited are still there! I know I may be able to dig it out of a years' worth of posts, but does anyone know if the prices have changed since last year? Not that I mind if they have. I just need to get back into the 'know' of what are the going rates in the sauna's these days.

Definitely I'll be heading back to B2 (#5 still there? ) and Sarcosa (think it was #595 I saw then). And hopefully the three other places I (and Bloom. You still here? ) reviewed.

I'm counting the days!

What is recommended for an 8 hour stay that starts at 7am?Of Interest:In the lobby of the Motel168 Dazhong Merryling Pudong Airport Hotel (PVG) Can't miss it. It's outside between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You can access it through the underground walkways.

Inside the door-- imediately to the right as you enter the lobby - is a "Massage / Spa". I went to check pricing two months ago while waiting on a flight to arrive.

To be sure, I've did not have time give it a try.

But here are a few things I remember.

- The girl at the counter spoke pretty good English and walked me through the offerings. She seemed to 'hint' that the service was quite good.

- I always look at pricing, as many places with a 600-800 RMB price tag tend to offer full service. Seems like their highest priced item was in the 800 RMB range.

- There were two girls in uniform who kept entering and exiting the desk area. Both were in the 6-7 range in looks, but I would not kick them out of bed for eating crackers.

- This is a Motel 168 after all, so it's possible full service is on the menu.

Three possibilities for this place.

1. It's an overpriced massage joint at the airport that, well, gives expensive massage.

2. It's an overpriced HJ joint located at the airport where you might be able to talk the girl into full service.

3. It's a full service joint at Motel 168 airport where you'll get slam fucked by a rough-and-tumble airport horizontal bop artist, and, well, still get hit with a 800 RMB price tag.

Who knows?

Again, I haven't had a chance to try it, so can make absolutely no promises.

But, it is an option at the airport.

In the direction away from Xiaomuqiao. Le Yuan has mirrors on the ceiling (at the rooms that I have used) which is a nice touch. No one eve tried to upsell me at Le Yuan. still you should RTFF or at least search on Pudong
Take the MagLev and in 10 minutes you are in Pudong, not exactly in the centre of the mongering but from the station a short cab ride will take you to some establishments in that side of the town (Wolrd Plaza, Sacrosa, etc etc).
RTFF is alwasy the quickest option, at the end.

Not looking good for you. While I've done what you are suggesting on a 5 hour layover in BKK, I don't think it can be done at PVG.

Figure you have at least 30 minutes to get through immigration/customs providing your plane even lands on time. Then probably the fastest thing you can do is jump on the Maglev to Longyan station (another 15.45 minutes depending on your timing. Train leaves every 30 minutes from PVG). By the time you get to Longyan, it may be 8AM at the very earliest; probably closer to 9.

Then from Longyan you can get a taxi to a spa in Pudong (another 30 minutes depending on traffic). Only problem is that it will have to be a 24 hour place.

Remember, it is 9AM! Most spas don't open 'til 1PM. BBS's are usually later than that. Then once you find a place to do the deed, you have to turn around and make the trip back to PVG. Remember, there is no easy way through immigration on the way out. I have spent more than 1 hour waiting in line in the past. Especially for a flight that leaves around 3PM.

If you can find a 24 hour spa you have time. But barring that, your options are limited. I recommend you double dose the vitamin V before leaving LOS. Then spend the 48 hours prior to leaving BKK f*cking your brains out before you leave. -

The Wu-Jong road # 418 did not disappoint.

While the damage is steep, but the girls were attractive.

I chose #20 from An Hui. She is about 4 foot 10 with natural B cup.

So at this place, you do not take shower before hand.

Basically the girl washes you first.

After reading 2 reviews on this Sauna, I had to go as well..

I can just say I agree with the 2 reviews, it was a great experience and you can simple call it the best sauna I have seen so far.

3rd Floor 777 Si Ping Road

When you walk from the south to north on Si Ping lu you see a sign 777 at a restaurant, I made the mistake to go in there, you just have to walk a bit further to the corner of the building and you see the wall with black glass, thats it.

Inside: Bob is very friendly, fluent in English and shows you the way.

I was there today at around 6PM and had a choice of about 8 ladies, most of them good looking. I chose 112, very prety petite girl.

She did the basic stuff as described by Apple before, was very good service, but not completely GFE. Her body was just stunning so I was happy anyway.

At the end we had 15 min left and we had to wait, I wanted a 2nd pop but she did not let me unfortunately. That was the only bummer.

Overall: I will come back and advise the others as well, this is something you have to experience for 700 RMB.

I'm just on location at NanDan during the foot massage. Thank you for the reccommendation. The service is great and the performance/cost better than Peacock. They'll see me here again.

I think I know Le Yuan. I was there a couple of times last year, but couldn't find any benefits over Peacock at that time. (I even thought they are under the same management) have to try again.

The SH procedure has been described many times, so I will skip that. The selection this day was some 10 girls. It is hard to make a decision when you look into that room.

I had a very nice session with no52, She does not speak much English. We managed to communicate very well.

The session was more a GFE experience with two pops in one hour. It seems like the 650 RMBs are only for one hour, but that was enough for me.

I've been looking through this forum for a nice bbs in Shanghai, and somewhat all the massive information just overwhelm me to a point of confussion. I'll be staying in Holiday Inn Downtown near the railstation next week, this is my 2nd stay in shanghai. First one was two years ago at the same hotel, only managed to get service through the room massage which was not very entertaining and cost me 1,000 (yikes!)

This time I'd like to wonder around, and managed to sort out few places based on reports from few brothers here:

Am I missing something from the list or is there any other place recommended? I'm looking for a relaxing place with nice facilities/girls and since I can't speak or read any Chinese, language would be a problem. At Peacock it's easy because you usually point at the price in the small menu list.

I read before that here it's somewhere around 220 RMB.

How would you compare the facilieties with Peacock?

999 = Yu Ping's. Located near Shanghai Stadium. Take the Metro Line 4 to Shanghai Stadium (not Indoor Stadium! ), exit 3 and keep walking until you cross a street (Stadium is on your right). Keep going straight about half a block and you should see on the opposite side of the road a 999 sign overhead in red.

WP = World Plaza. Take Metro Line 2 to Dongchang, exit 3 leads you straight to B1 of the mall. Take the stairs leading down to B2. There's an open glass doorway and usually a male attendant around.

SongShan is on Song Shan, one block east from the Huang Pi Lu Subway station (Huang Pi at Huai Hai) and half block south of huaihai. Look for the arch and a lane with KTV signs.

Well bros, I too visited NHG this last week. It was a total bust. The only positive thing was that it was close to the Hilton. I was jet lagged and did not realize SH was closer. Brief report.

Howard Johnson All suites on Yan An West road is a good choice. 580 weekend price but if you call ctrip and book you can get the room for 480 then upgrade at the hotel for their special free breakfast and free internet for a hundred and change. Nice suites and very girl friendly.

Spontaneously I would reccommend Bangkok, but at second thought, I suggest Shanghai, because on tongren Lu you can find Chinese, Philippina and sometimes Thai girls. So you can sample all three at one place.

Spontaneously I would reccommend Bangkok, but at second thought, I suggest Shanghai, because on tongren Lu you can find Chinese, Philippina and sometimes Thai girls. As the local entertainment guide I feel I need to put in my 2 cents.

SH compared to Thailand or the PI is a completley different scene.

First, for most people it is hard to navigate without Chinese. If you have been around China for awhile then it is much easier. Most newbies to the scene find it intimidating the min they get into a taxi at the pudong airport and find that without a hotel map pre-printed from the hotels website or the address in English your not going to get very far.

In Thailand or the PI English is almost every where to some degree. In SH good luck finding anyone who speaks English unless your are where the expats are or at a expat food or beverage establishment.

If you just want to get laid as much as possible, after reading what the posts have written, you will be fine as many posters give the addresses and locations in a very detailed manner. As for cheap sex, in SH there are places where you can get over night for the price of a sauna and there are even cheaper establishments I don't reccomend if you are faint of heart. If you go to Wuzhong road starting around the corner of Guilin Road for example there are shops with girls in evening gowns on both sides of the street for about two blocks. If language is a big problem for you, get a copy of the SH daily at your hotel and call one of the numbers for the escorts or after 11 PM show up at Tong Ren road and take a Chinese, PI, Viet, or Thai back to your hotel. I agree with all this, emphatically, except the part about "free is very possible". Not in those bars, at least - those are 100% WG bars.

I also never heard (besides this post) of anyone paying 500HKD (or even 700) in those bars, but times have changed since I was last there, so negotiation might be more easy. I usually paid 1000 to 1500, for reference...and in the strip clubs (read:rip off bars, but have some super hot girls with amazing performances) I have spent 6000 to 10,000 (total bill). Anyway, I don't doubt that 1000 is easily possible now, and wouldn't be surprised if cheaper (for the less pretty girls). The Chinese, Russians, and Columbians will insist on more, but for no good reason that I can see (in fact, for the latter two they'd have to pay me boatloads to even talk with them, but tastes vary).

Well, I apprecaite the extra input, but I think I'll stick with my original decision to just go to Bangkok. This boils down to a couple of factors: time and money. I'll be making the trip just one week, so I'm not going to have the time to go all over the place, no matter how tempting that might be. As for money, well, I've been tracking the value of the different currencies for a week now, and the Chinese money is consistantly running somewhere in the area of five to seven times the value of the Thai money. So even though a "LT, high-end" girl in Bangkok might charge 2500BHT, it still comes out a lot lower than most of the prices quoted for Chinese girls.

Actually the currency difference is about 5.4 times, give or take a few tenths from day to day.

Yes, I believe Thai girls are both better quality and less $$. Some people like variety, and for that nothing beats HK, but for the most bang for the buck (pardon the pun) Bangkok, or perhaps even better, Pattaya, are the best places on earth.

Jintai road, what can I say?

A friend came into town and wanted a tour. I remembered about 3 months back and another time even further back when I went to Jintai Road and saw the hottest smoking hot bunch of BBS girls I have ever had the pleasure of picking between. I just hadn't been there since because it is totally out of the way for me. I wanted to show him the best, so I took him there, and man did I regret it. After making 2 laps before settling on a shop that actually had 2 girls good enough for us both to take one, we walked in and the mama-san demanded 300. I said, "okay, 300 for two." She said "no" and didn't even counter-offer. I walked out telling her to burn in hell. It was obvious to me if she was out of the shop the girls themselves would have accepted the normal price.

I would have refused that if we were anywhere in Puxi, as we could hop in a cab to another BBS district, but in PuDong there is really nothing worth a shit in the area to go to as a back-up plan. The service was shit and the girl I had actually I had to argue with her just to switch positions. She wanted 50 more for a BJ. (I know to mention this early in the bargaining, but I don't care enough to be bothered.) I guess my friend's chick was okay. If you go out there definitely only go with chicks frantically waving you in the shop.

By the way, if you want 100 kuai full service in that area with some really slutty chicks, some willing to bareback, then ride a taxi south from the JinQiao Lu station (closest station to Jintai road) SOUTH on JinQiao road past the bridge about until the taxi hits 12 on the meter. Last time I found a nice chick there with awesome service, totally relaxed because of few customers. Unfortunately tonight it kind of sucked and we couldn't find a shop with two good ones, one for each of us. (If i was alone I definitely would have gone for superior service for only 100.)

I've read much of the posting here and in some of the other areas covering SE Asia, and to someone looking for some good p4p action, there is much to recommend many destinations. I hope to make a trip later this year, and I've more or less thinned down the places I'd like to go to three:

Bangkok
Manila
Shanghi

From everything I've read, Manila and Bangkok seem to give the best value-for-money, as the prices for even the best girls is fairly low, either ST or LT. On the flip side, the cost of getting to either of those two places is close to double the cost of getting to Shanghi.

Why should I go to Shanghi and not either of the other two places?

Any regulars want to step forward to make the case for your city? I'm open to any arguement, reasonable intelligently phrased, so how about it?

I can recommend Angeles City, Philippines
Direct flights to the local airport Clark DMIA are serviced by some budget carriers
Tiger Air via Singapore
Air Asia via Kuala Lumpur
Cebu Pacific via Hong Kong / Bangkok

Or if you are in Manila you could take a cab there (about 2 hours P1500 away). There is also a bus service for much less.

Compared with Manila, the hotels are cheaper, the girls are cheaper and they are concentrated within a small area.

Like Manila, English is widely spoken, usually better than Thailand/China, chances of you connecting with the girl mentally is therefore higher and that leads to better GFE, IMO.

I just got back into town after trying to find some stuff some bros had requested.

Here's what I have found:

Cialis (Tadalafil) 50mg Tablets – 250 per bottle of ten

Levitra (Vardenafil) 600mg tablets – 300 per bottle of ten

I still have a few bottles of the stuff I have used most often - “Cialis” (Sildenafil – Viagra active ingredient) 35 mg capsules - 250RMB per bottle of ten.

Although the silver box and aluminum vial of the sildenafil capsules say Cialis, this is actually 'generic Viagra.' It is made from sildenafil citrate, the same as the prescription brand Viagra in the USA.) This is what I have used most, and while the bottle promises 72 hours of activity, I usually get about 48.

REAL Viagra and Cialis sell in pharmacies for around 100RMB per tablet, so these are twice as much 'bang' for less than half the cost.

Granted, these particular 'generics' are not FDA approved, but other expats in the area have used them quite a bit. Several of our brothers on here have used them, and I personally have used these as well, with happy results. Still, keep in mind the same precautions you would observe with any supplement, and as with anything, YMMV.

I've noticed it can also be embarrassing to visit one of these stores as an expat – you stand out, and the ever-helpful a-yis are urgently suggesting all manner of items – each of which they will assure you is the greatest thing ever made. Plus, if you do not speak much Chinese you are not certain what you will get.

Having enjoyed the delights of the Shanghai Hotel, I thought that I'd try something different and 999 seemed to keep coming up on everyones list.

Found the place easily enough. One wrong turn when I got on the wrong train a #3 instead of #4.

Welcomed in and taken to locker room then shower, then change into PJ's. All been pretty well detailed. It was Sunday afternoon, and the place was humming. Lots of punters and lots of girls. Up to the fish bowl, and to be honest the choice was too much for my little eyes to comprehend. I just wanted to dive right in head first into that room. Selected #923, who stood out from the crowd with a nice big rack. She seemed nice to start with.

Waited for the room, it was still being cleaned when we arrived, that was my first put off. The cleaner then left us alone. Well I have to say that the whole experience felt like a manufacturing process. Disrobe, scrub down, soapy massage, shower, lie on bed, cat bath, tit massage, flip, russian, toe f$#K (? that was bizzare), BBBJ, cover on and hump, shoot, clean and go.

Very mechanical as if each stage in the process was only allotted a certain time. I couldn't wait to get out of there, and will not be returning. As I say YMMV.

Damage Y680 for 1 hour.

Ah well, at least I can cross it off my list.

ESES is correct about the Pharmact on Baihua Lu. It's in the strip of buildings that includes a small video store, pet foor store, Biyuntang Massage joint (not recommended). The pharmacist (guy) speaks English. He only has the 5 'V' per box size. No singles. However, he does have 20mg 'L' in singles for 100RMB.

500 Wuzhong Rd is non-soapy massage joint with FS for 580rmb. Been many times and always excellent.

Wuzhong Rd (LU) is a famous road in Shanghai which runs parallel to, and is between, the Yan An Rd and Caobao Rd. It is on any Tourist Map. No 500 is on rh side coming out of Shanghai. Turn in and go behind the "Yellow" car mart shop. There is a hotel entrance round back. Go in. Straight to elevator to 4th floor.come out of elevator and turn right into Spa. No Chinese is needed. They know why you are there!

Well I arrive In Shanghai for the GP on 15/4 for 6 days and wish to make the most of my stay. So I have RTFF and consequently decided to stay at the Shanghai Hotel! Other must visit places appear to be Sarcosa, Heting Elite & 999.

Any other must do suggestions would be appreciated! But bearing in mind this is my first visit to Shanghai and I only speak half a dozen words of Chinese if any local monger is looking for a wingman it could be in both our interests.

Gentlemen,

Visiting Shanghai for a night and cannot decide which hotel to stay. Can anyone recommend a hotel that also has a bar with working girls (Freelancers).

From what I have read at the forum the Hyatt (Cloud 9) apparently has some freelancers over there. Considering staying there as it is only for a night.

I'd expect quotes from 2000 to 5000, though I'd think you could haggle down to around 1500 for ST (I'm gonna take a wild guess and say 2000+ for LT). Some members here may debate this, but pointlessly - whether someone says they could pay less or not, for most people this is most likely the reality.

Anyway, I don't know too much about hotel bar WG's, but I'd suggest staying at the Hilton in Puxi. There are bars right across the street that are sure to have much more selection, Julu lu is walking distance, and Tong Ren lu is a short cab ride. All will have vastly more selection at much better prices.

I'm also heard there are WG's that hang around in the Hilton's first floor bar, but again have zero personal experience with this.

LAST TIME. It's at No. 500 Wuzhong Lu.. Ok. First part is the number of the establisment, second part is road name. Not to difficult surely.

It's due west of the Hilton/Shanghai Hotel area about 10 mins by cab. Everyone knows the road.

Wuzhong Lu is a famous rd in Shanghai. Actually there must be at least 20 Spa sauna's along the road and I'm certain most of them do FS. 699 is another one and that does. Also there are many BBS along the street.

It's really a sad day. What remains of the twisted shambles of The Village is but a bunch of trees, a wreckage sites, and a few dark alleys where you can be shown a few girls and the guys will try to demand 300 kuai. I grew up there, in a sense, and the village will always have a place in my heart. It was there for me as a friend when I needed one, it taught me many things, it was a mentor to my entry into mongering, and it soothed me when frustrated or down. What remains today can do none of these things, and is no longer worth the hour long bus ride and 2 kuai it takes to get there. I hereby declare you "the former Village" my old friend. The only other area I've seen of adequate concentrated splendor to be worthy of a long trip, instead of just perusing the limited selection in the local neighborhood, is JinDing Lu. I think it is a worthy successor, and not only that — in the last few months many new shops have opened there. It is flourishing.

I did have one last absolutely excellent experience in the village with a fresh-off-the-farm beauty for 150, but the selection was limited enough that that was just pure luck.

Spent 3 days in Shanghai, had a great time...

Went to Tongren Lu, Manhattans and Judy's unless you have no other options please avoid, the prices have not really dropped and the quality is crap, old ugly and the 1 or 3 nice young Pinays had way too much attitude for my liking.

However went to Zapatas much better looking crowd highly reccomended if you want to put in some effort guys... Much younger and much better looking then Tongren Lu crowd.

Went to Shanghai hotel cant remember the number but got the standard service good as always but as my Chinese is very limited its a really mechanical game which is not for me...

But I found a KTV girl that speaks english tall about 170 cm really nice and spent 2 nights with her, was great because we could communicate between the sex thing good value at 1500 rmb for about 15 hours...

So looking forward to coming back to Shanghai....

I was in Shanghai for business on June 2008 (sorry for the late report!) and had the chance to check on the local scene, guided by information on this thread.

I first went to “999”, near the Stadium, for what was one of the most interesting experiences I have ever had in all my years of mongering. Confident of what to expect by the information I had gathered here, I was greeted like a regular (all those foreigners look alike anyway, right?) and taken directly to the changing room. The boys helped me out with the key to the locker and led me to the shower/sauna area. After the shower, I indicated I wanted to choose a girl and was taken to the display area. It's really a sad day. What remains of the twisted shambles of The Village is but a bunch of trees, a wreckage sites, and a few dark alleys where you can be shown a few girls and the guys will try to demand 300 kuai. I was in Shanghai last week and have visited China several times over the past year. I stayed in Shanghai Hotel and on my first day in Shanghai this trip I was approached by a lady in Shanghai Hotel telling me that sex is available for 300 rmb. I told her that i am going to my room and will come down in 5 mins.

From past experiences in Shanghai I felt that this could be a trap so I emptied every thing from my pocket in my hotel room safe and then came down. This lady told me that I have to follow her to another place which is like 5 mins walk from the hotel. So I followed her and ofcourse she took me to a pink bar where I was put in a room and then introduced to a line up of girls.

I picked the one i liked and I said I want to leave with the girl as I have no money in my pocket. Still I was told to sit down while girl changes her clothes, so I sat. The girl didn't leave the room instead they quickly brought champagne for the girl and me. I said i don't have money on me and the girls said it is complimentary.

I started to have a feeling that this is not going as planned I again said i want to leave with the girl to my room and told the girl to go change. This girl started to try to take my clothes off. I just told her NO and told her in hotel room. She still didn't leave.

I was asked which room i was staying and i gave them room number. The guy left and came back after 5 mins probably confirming my name and my room number.

Later I was told that I can leave with one of their goons and he will collect the money from me at the Hotel. We walked from Pink bar to my hotel and i was a bit briskly and in front of the guy who was to collect from me. As we approached my hotel. The goon following me tried to tell me that bring money outside. I just ran into the hotel and i started yelling that no come in the hotel and collect your money. The guys just left.

As soon as i walked in the hotel i requested them to change my hotel room and explained everything to the manager at reception. He gladly changed my room and I warned the guy not to give my new hotel room number to any one.

I didn't incur any further problems in Shanghai, but i really think that if you don't follow your instincts in Shanghai you can be in much further trouble then you bargained for. In short I rather do my mongering elsewhere. Since i was on business in Shanghai, I did monger other days but only at places reported on ISG.

Lesson learned "Don't take any chances in Shanghai or for that matter anywhere in China."

Jinding Lu (金鼎路) is about 20 / 25 kuai (day/night) north-west of Zhongshan Park by taxi. Unfortunately I don't know any convenient bus to go exactly there and very few taxi drivers seem to recognize the name. The best way (since I assume 99% of anyone would be coming from closer to the city center) is to go to ZhenBei Lu & Jinding Lu (金鼎路真北路） and then get your driver to go all the way to the west end of Jinding Lu. The newly opened shops start from the west end.

(Sorry to be shoddy on the information, but I think once I said "go to the West end of" to a driver and since the road actually continues on somewhere further West where there is nothing, I got lost, so that's why I suggest just going West from Jinding & Zhenbei until you reach the end.)

The best thing about Jinding, unlike the former village, is you don't have to wait until 8pm for it to open. I've been there at 2pm and found nice chicks. The BEST I have seen, prime time, though, was a few weeks back at about 1 am where there was a mind-boggling selection of chicks that I wanted and it was hard to make a choice.

Also tell anyone asking more than 150 to get lost. They're usually nice about not ripping you off here, and I've actually gotten full-service for 130 when I didn't discuss the price and the girl just 'assumed' give me the, I guess, normal Chinese price.

I haven't heard of Xiaomuqiao Lu, thanks for the idea, a lot of shops there? Just walk on the segment relatively close to the Damuqiao Subway stop or what? Thanks.

You took a small change by bring you hotel key with you. What they might do
is take your key and go into your hotel room and rob you. Even if you change your room because they know your face, they might wait for you when you leave your hotel. They might follow you and find a good place to teach you a lesson.

On the other hand, if anything serious happens, you know the bar's location to bring the police or friends. If you did have sex at the bar, most likely they feel you will not go to the police because it's illegal. They just want to make you feel guility that you own them something and want you to pay the scam.

Will have to check out Jinding in near future. Yes, near Damuqiao in Xujiahui. Xiaomuqiao lu + corner of Xietu Lu. Then head south down Xiaomuqiao. Not a huge number of venues, probably 10 all told. Some lookers there though. They will try to get you for 300 FS, but you can negotiate down to 200. Haven't gotten lower than that though. Anyway, good luck!

SGolden bell is quite good but expensive and does not offer FS. What you do get is a great lounge waiting area and spa's with views out over huai hai park and a great massage with happy ending. I'm in Shanghai for two weeks, first time here since stepping into adulthood. After becoming rather bored of the clubs and bars (which are mostly overrated IMO), I started to explore the more vivacious options. After reading some reports here on 999, I decided to give it a try.

The first thing you'll notice when you step in is that it is a highly guarded place (most likely the organsation pay protection fees to the local police), and feels completely like a brothel. They welcome you with about, 10+ young waiters all keen to undress you and show you their goods. They begin by asking you if its first time there, and where you're from (they took some whack guesses on where I come from, which I found pretty funny since I'm a local shanghainese that's been in Australia for a good number of years). I'm guessing that this is to see how much they can rip you off by. As it was my first time, and my chinese is fairly limited, I was scammed into doing a back-rub, shower, and milk bathe, which I later found out was a $288 yuan damage.

Finally when I was led upstairs, they gave me a choice of three girls. All seemed very friendly, and keen to do their job. They're probably glad to see a young 20 something asian rather than the old westerners/foreign asians that frequent that place. As a consequence, the girl I picked was sooo overly friendly that completely contrasted the reported "mechanical process" this place served. She asked me what I wanted, what I expected, and if I had any special "needs" (all in Chinese, although she did speak a little english). Result was 90 minutes of pretty much everything I could dream of from such a place, sensual pussy/tit massage, the 'red rope' (I enticed her to do it, saying that i wanted to learn some chinese culture and I heard this was one of the must learns, she reluctantly agreed), a FUCKIN great BBBJ, she was considerate and asked me if I could last if she continued (which I embarrassingly said no), so she got on top and started riding like a stallion. Feeling her wet back I asked her if she wanted to be on the bottom, which she graciously agreed. A few thrusts was all it took, didn't even have time for CIM (which I'm 90% sure she would have agreed to). If have read the forum you would know we all shout "Don't go with a tout! " It is plain and simple. They will scam you. However, don't just assume this is a China thing. There are touts the world over and they are all after the same thing.

London, Manila, Bangkok, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore.

If anyone, anywhere is foolish enough to go with a tout then so be it. Epseically if they have read through here. There is so much to keep you occupied, the touts really should be out of business by now. .

How to get to 999? What's the address? How far is it from Renaissance Pudong Hotel? I will be there next, would like to try it.

999 is at 999 Tianyaoqiao Road (tea-an-yao-chow). It is located in near the southwest corner of Shanghai on the Puxi side, near the Shanghai Stadium. It is accessible by subway and a 1o minute walk or directly via taxi. If you are staying in Pudong, its not really worth it to make the trek over.

On the Pudong Side, you have World Plaza (B2), Sacrosa, Merrylin Hotel (2F). These are all great places and extensively reviewed in the forum.

As of last Friday, B2 had a sign posted on the door (in Chinese) that stated they were closed for repairs due to a "water pipe".

Today, as of 4:00 p.m., they were still closed with the same sign on the door.

To be sure, there are significant and large-scale renovations underway on both B1 (subway concourse level) and B2 level as well. Ther are many shops and other spaces that have major contracting activity.

My guess -- and it's just a guess -- is that it could be another week until it reopens.

Last month I went two times to JJ Sauna. Nothing has been reported about it since some time, so here is an update.

Hi everyone!

I've lurked here for a while now, but taking some advice, finally decided to register and get posting. A short blurb (but not too much! ) about myself first.

For those who know the game- there's enough lighting to read pupils, not always, but often enough. Thanks for the several suggestions that people have given me regarding my earlier post on this matter. I need to make a few things clear;

Well I have arrived in Shanghai and think a visit to Sacrosa is called for, having RTFF I find the area easily and go into the Plaza/Mall (who's name now escapes me) however the Steak house & coffee shop referred to in the posts is in fact outside in an open area.

So by the time I locate the place I am at the rear of the building so enter by the back passage! (excuse the expression) anyway the doorman have seen it all before so decide to have some fun at my expense by showing me a door which leads to the stairs. Now this must be the fire escape so it is pretty grotty and by the time I get to the 5th floor the sweat is pouring off me as it is rather warm. Anyway at least I am at the right place.

But it is even warmer in Sarcosa and the shower is indeed needed! So after leaving all my belongings in a cubicle and having a shower I am given a sort of Kung Fu outfit to wear and shown to a rest room while the girlies are assembled!

I'd say 85% of them. First - it is usually NOT good to generalize. To me, Chinese gals have way more maturity than their Western counterpart - albeit on and for different "values." I'm talking about *Filial Piety, *Responsibility to Family (to most selling their bodies just to fulfill this), *Actual Plans and willingness to undergo any and all hardship to achieve what they want in life. *Single minded determination to better their lot.

Naïve….? I don’t think so! And in lots of cases, even abrogating their own feelings/values just to achieve what they want. Are you and Ed sure that the gals you met are not doing precisely this – Close eyes, brace, do whatever needed to snare these unmarried, foreign passport holding, wealthy and young guys? Watch out you guys – you may think you’re dealing with “a gal with the maturity of a 17 year old.” But are you REALLY??

Yes, I was once young also and also love being able to count off another conquest; but really, in China – the odds are just stacked way too much in our favor. And I would like to remind you that Mother Nature will frown if you’re only doing this – reeling off another one night stand and/or just to satisfy your carnal desires. You are dealing with REAL persons here – one who’s also got feelings, have pride and dignity – and one who’s comparatively just so much lower on the economic totem pole. Come one people, most girls in China are naive and dream about marriage. I'd say 85% of them. Of course, in Shanghai and especially in a BBS it might be a little different, but all of us who know young Chinese girls know they get married at 25 / 25, usualy with their first or second boyfriend ever, pay a potograph to do pictures "like the stars" (which by the way is ridiculous) and show them to everyone they see. Most girls have their own "stalker", a guy that she met in High School or University and who is convinced that sincerity and time will end up showing the girl their true value. So basically they ca wait for years and traditionnally end up getting the girl when she feels down, get dumped or can't find a husband. Very common un China.

As I said before, these guys can wait months, years before even trying to hold the girl's hand, so when you arrive and get her in your bed in a matter of days, the Geeks / Stalkers usually get VERY VERY mad. So careful, in some cases they might want to fight. They're usually not very strong, but you don't want to get into any kind of trouble so if a guy gets in the way. When I was at unversity I ended up challenging a guy at Street Fighter. They assume that occidental people suck at computer games, so I ended up crushing him in front of all of his friends. His lost his face and never showed up again.

Hi everyone!

I've lurked here for a while now, but taking some advice, finally decided to register and get posting. A short blurb (but not too much! ) about myself first.

I'm young and I don't work. I'm completely new to paying for service (though I certainly would like to give it a shot- no pun intended), and I enjoy working the social scene for freebies. I've been in Shanghai since Aug 2008 and I'm leaving in July 2009. That gives me about 2 1/2 months left to make this last little while an absolute blast.

I don't want to contribute nothing, so I'll share what little experience I do have hitting the clubs for freebies.

I'm sure most of you hit up a lot of the clubs already, so I'll just limit myself to my most recent experience: SoHo.

SoHo opened very recently and got rather poor reviews from my friends. Regardless, I decided to give it a shot and try it out with another group of friends. The music is pretty decent; they remix a lot of the older songs from the 90s. Atmosphere is alright- expect a LOT of white plastic wall decor. For those who know the game- there's enough lighting to read pupils, not always, but often enough. Alcohol per glass is a little pricey, but the bottles are cheaper than most of the other places (we picked up Jose Cuervos Gold for 480ish, I think). One of my friends works there and he kept loading us up with free drink vouchers all night, so we didn't need to get the bottle, but I made the call for it anyways. No cover on the night we went (Saturday).

The average girl there is probably a 6-7, expect to find a number of Western girls in there too. For those of us rolling in dough, there are LOTS of lonely local females sitting at the tables. For everyone else, lots of small groups (1-2 mostly) of both locals and foreigners at the bar. I personally opted for this stunning HB8 Colombian. She and her friend joined us. We shared drinks, I danced a little with them. Closed with a kiss and number- I went to Muse2, she stayed at SoHo. Around 4AM she gives me a call to get my apartment address and cabs over.

I'd certainly like to give the "pay scene" a try though, got a list together and everything. Any of you mongers mind taking on an apprentice? My friend is visiting from Canada, so I'd love to take him some place, on recommendation. If any of you have some free time and wouldn't mind bringing along a newbie, send me a message. I want to put up a question for debate.

Arrived in SH and despite the requisite tired-from-the-flight biz I just couldn't help myself and wandered out for some fun on Wednesday night.

There seem to be something going on these couple weeks. Quite a few places I normally go to are closed down. Does anyone have any insights?

Sun night. Got back to Shanghai at 11PM and was ready for some action! Called Bob first and heard that they were closed for 2 or 3 days. He would not give any explanation, apologized and asked me to call him again in a few days and not to show up before calling. Disappointed, I took a cab to Shanghai Hotel (should have called first) and was told that there "was some police problem" that night and that there was no service at all. Was also warned by the lady at the front desk that most other places were closed too. I decided not to try any other spots, cursed my luck (what are the chances of getting deprived of some action 2 different days there? ) and called in a night. Curious if others had any issues last Sunday (Apr 12th) night.

Too many guys go into China without even trying to understand what it's all about - and end up screwing things up for the rest of us guys who are "in situ" so to call.

But then, even those who are "in situ" also gets lulled into a sense of complacency or worse - arrogance. They get so used to being treated as practically "masters" - simply because of their economic superiority - that they think that whatever they think or do is going to be welcomed and received with praise. That they are entitled to shit anywhere they like as their shit don't stink no more - never mind that "back home' they are nothing more than an ordinary Joe or even less.

Yes China is very welcoming of the foreign visitor - even those who comes just to monger - and yes the Chinese will defer to the wishes of those who comes in bringing $$, have enviable lives - and even avoid confrontation with Westerners with comparatively and generally larger physique (and probably go to the gym more often). But it is SO WRONG how some BSD's act and thinks in China. Would these guys get away with it back home? Or in some other prosperous countries? Think Japan where the gaijin monger practically needs to beg to get any kind of service.

Now, I am NOT saying that all furreners into China acts like the assholes I've described - far from it - and IMHO, most of them are very decent people. I've met and become friends with a helluva lot of these China visitors - but even for these, I've seen how they've evolved into true assholes. Thinking nothing about what others (especially Chinese counterparties) think AND feel.

I've written this just as a bit of a reminder and certainly do NOT mean/want to cause any offense to anybody and this all is of course only IMHO.

So my knowledge is limited, but I spent a few days with upper middle class Chinese in China (successful business people and/or University graduates) and observed how they treated their inferiors. No need for us foreigners to feel guilty! They treat their own people like shit. I believe the situation is similar in Thailand and Burma. I arrive there with some money, then I just adapt to the local “educated” class behavior and the “lower” class will even expect it from me. It does not matter, that at home my status may not be so high at all. Nobody would even believe me. That is what sex tourism is all about. Enjoy as long as you can!

seajjust to offer a different view, from one that has been living in china for a good number of years now. you have a very valid point in that we "expats" have developed a rudeness (you call it arrogance), that would be less than acceptable in any western countries. when i travel abroad, i have to remind myself i am no longer in china and temper my behaviour. i agree with you that many of the long-term expats have developed a pattern of behaviour that on the surface seems less thoughtful. my perspective on why that is so.

i don't believe its because we think we are economically superior. in point of fact, many of these chinese have come by immense amounts of wealth, but in my opinion, in most cases through no inspiring stroke of genius. the bought property in a protected market, they bought stocks in a manipulated stock exchange, the entered into businesses with secured government backing, they stole money or took bribes. they made their money off the backs of the american consumer, stealing technology, and yes the westerners gave it all to them. but even this, admittedly stereotyping, does not suggest to me the attitude exhibited by westerners.

rather, it is the absolute arrogance, rudeness and daily incompetency of dealing with the chinese on daily basis. their pusing and shoving, cutting in front in lines, cutting off cars, spitting everywhere, the noises they make when eating, farting in public, walking into people, their dogs sh---ing on the sidewalk, throwing their garbage on the sidewalk, lack of any type of reasonable service in most retail outlets.

many of us who work with chinese, experience long days, 12 hours plus, home companies that provide us 2% annual salary increases while 8 hour a day chinese insist and get 15% or better. and in case the suggestion is that they come from a lower base, an "experienced" chinese engineer costs as much as a usa with more years of experience. and it takes 3 of them to perform the same job in twice the time. the "high" flyer chinese professionals are arrogant in their self importance, with far less ability than a western peer of equal level, and at the first sign of stress head for the door to attain an even higher salary from the next company. the new labor laws virtually make it impossible to fire any worthless individual with senority, and even to get rid of them, one always pays. then there is the corruption, where a full time audit staff could work to uncover their kickbacks, gratuities, related party transactions. not that one would get a chinese audit staff to do so, as they would never report it. and i won't even get into their total disregard for any human being other than themselves, from polluting the environment (i am not a tree-hugger either), to setting off fireworks at all hours of the night, to stinking up the whole apartment complex as they cook their rotten fish. not to forget the wonderful dinners they serve of boiled camel ass, snake bones, donkey penis and industrial toxic waste (they call white wine)

the list of things that could be cited in regards to chinese behaviour could fill volumes, but after awhile, one does begin to behave like them. i like my size in relation to them, when they walk into me, my size can send them flying. i enjoy, pushing them out of line when they cut in front of me. that rudeness is the chinese way and suggest perhaps we are only adapting.

not to forget the purpose of the forum, then the girls. getting a chinese girl of any age, or marital status, is not a problem. getting rid of one is the challenge. and for the most part, the girls are the only bright spot on the chinese front. true gf are plentiful and the only reason to p4p is so you don't have to be hooked to one girl. once you have a gf though watch out, her male friends will discriminate against her because she is going out with a foreigner, they will actually seek "loans" from her because of her rich bf. many of the cutiest, are flat chested, which is sometimes hard to discover until the padded bra comes off. have to admit though, everyone i've been with eventuates into a sexual adventurer. conversation of a meaningful nature is completely lacking and find i move on more out of boredom than anything else.

finally the basic premise that we foreigners will eventually ruin china, because of our behaviour. i don't agree with that, the chinese will cater to us only so long as we serve a purpose. that purpose and tolerance dictated by the government. once the government decides foreigners are no longer valued, the whole tolerance will evaporate. even in the last couple of years, i've seen a major shift in the value placed on the foreign advisors. as a population we are not liked here in china, we are required. the chinese people as a population don't love us, never have, they want what we have, and for that they need us. today. their fake courtesy in social settings, their apparant deference to us, one has to be here awhile to see what they really think. even the little gifts they give to foreigners, they would never give to a chinese person, all that psuedo jade, pictures, they call it tourist junk for the foreigners. trinkets to the indians.

i am here for the money, plain and simple. with a degree in chinese studies, what i once thought was an intriguing gentle culture, i see now to be a very opportunistic culture. think i am too harsh. who's picture is on all the money and hangs above the great gate overlooking tianamin square? mao, the single biggest mass murderer in world history. stalin and hitler were absolute amateurs to what this man did, and he is their icon. and don't be so niave to think there is a separation between government, business and the people. the best and brightest join the communist party, they are all part of the system. arrogant and rude, maybe so, but feel i fit right in to the chinese system. my opinion and value yours, thanks

A friend of mine (HK Chinese) was in Peacock (Tietu Lu) a couple of days ago. He said, police just came in and told everybody to 'pack-up' and leave. No papers checked. I walked in and they showed me a menu with all the original stuff blocked out. Was led downstairs and one of the guys led me to the first room on the right, as I was walking in the room 3 cops were in there. WTF? ! Anyway, one of the cops just screamed at me and told me to get out. I left and walked our rather briskly.

First off, I didn't freak out totally. But I'd say it was 6 on the nervous scale from 1-10. Secondly, thanks to the Peacock management for using me as phoney 'bait'. Thirdly, based on that. I will never go back to Peacock again. And finally, I'm glad I didn't leave work early as planned, as I probably would have been caught with my hard rod up in vertical mode and my fingers in some chicks ****. And detained.

Some good things coming out of all this is that I've been exploring and finding more 'legit' places that have most girls who give an oily hand. One place I found last night is 'Baihui Massage' at #376-1 Nandang Lu (second floor. Says 'Massage' on huge signage), just a left turn coming out of the Hengshen Lu tunnel that becomes Cao Xi lu. Downside is the girls arent the prettiest, and the environment aint the most posh but if you want a quick and dirty HR. Maybe worth the trip. Ask for #7 from An Hui. She'll try to 'stiff' you for 200 tip, but don't buy into that. I payed 128 for 1 hour oil massge, and tipped 100 for a decent HJ and some titty sucking.

Another quick and dirty place is right down from Tertiary on Shaan Xi Lu. Walk away from Zhao Jia Bang Lu towards Jian Guo Lu. Its in the middle of that cluster of beauty salons. Forget the exact name but they advertise as an 'Australian Massage' place. Somewhat green signage. Ask for the 'for men only' oil massage. I think it's like 228 rmb (yes a bit steep). First few times there I get a nice oil rub and ass massage. I was able to get an HR from 3 girls (#10, #12, and the other I forgot). Most interesting thing is that I did not give a tip, nor was I haggled for one. Again, girls are not the prettiest. But sans tip was OK for that time. Lately I've struck out as I was denied an HJ. Since then I have stopped going.

I hope more guys post info on these little places. Its my forte, too chicken to go to any saunas and such.

I think I may have run into a few of these Chinese.

(1) A cousin of mine (Chinese off spring of my grandpa) told me a friend of his was coming to the States and that I should give him some money ($500 for him and $500 for his friend). Seemed strange. The friend called. I took him out to lunch a couple of days later. He told me he had helped my cousin big time. That he was pissed that I didn't take him shopping the day before and he had a bad time getting around. That in Beijing, he ate every day of the week at a far better restaurant than the one I chose. And then proceeded to order every expensive dish on the menu. He then said he wanted MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! I had the left over food packed up and sent him home with the food. And I never saw the cousin again.

(2) A stranger called my private number and asked to be picked up because he had a "secret message" from a Chinese General (an old veteran and a really good guy). His 'message' was that the General wanted admission for his daughter and her "boyfriend" in a certain California University (without the usual admission requirements of course). Then he took me into the restaurant and treated me quite rudely to show his guests his importance. I simply turned on my heel and left. (I very nearly knocked the table across the room.) I did relay the message, and the girl and 'boyfriend' were duly admitted to the designated university.

I have a few other flagrant examples, but it hurts me to even think of them.

just to offer a different view, from one that has been living in china for a good number of years now. you have a very valid point in that we "expats" have developed a rudeness (you call it arrogance), that would be less than acceptable in any western countries. when i travel abroad, i have to remind myself i am no longer in china and temper my behaviour. i agree with you that many of the long-term expats have developed a pattern of behaviour that on the surface seems less thoughtful. my perspective on why that is so.

i don't believe its because we think we are economically superior. in point of fact, many of these chinese have come by immense amounts of wealth, but in my opinion, in most cases through no inspiring stroke of genius. the bought property in a protected market, they bought stocks in a manipulated stock exchange, the entered into businesses with secured government backing, they stole money or took bribes. they made their money off the backs of the american consumer, stealing technology, and yes the westerners gave it all to them. but even this, admittedly stereotyping, does not suggest to me the attitude exhibited by westerners.

rather, it is the absolute arrogance, rudeness and daily incompetency of dealing with the chinese on daily basis. their pusing and shoving, cutting in front in lines, cutting off cars, spitting everywhere, the noises they make when eating, farting in public, walking into people, their dogs sh---ing on the sidewalk, throwing their garbage on the sidewalk, lack of any type of reasonable service in most retail outlets.

many of us who work with chinese, experience long days, 12 hours plus, home companies that provide us 2% annual salary increases while 8 hour a day chinese insist and get 15% or better. and in case the suggestion is that they come from a lower base, an "experienced" chinese engineer costs as much as a usa with more years of experience. and it takes 3 of them to perform the same job in twice the time. the "high" flyer chinese professionals are arrogant in their self importance, with far less ability than a western peer of equal level, and at the first sign of stress head for the door to attain an even higher salary from the next company. the new labor laws virtually make it impossible to fire any worthless individual with senority, and even to get rid of them, one always pays. then there is the corruption, where a full time audit staff could work to uncover their kickbacks, gratuities, related party transactions. not that one would get a chinese audit staff to do so, as they would never report it. and i won't even get into their total disregard for any human being other than themselves, from polluting the environment (i am not a tree-hugger either), to setting off fireworks at all hours of the night, to stinking up the whole apartment complex as they cook their rotten fish. not to forget the wonderful dinners they serve of boiled camel ass, snake bones, donkey penis and industrial toxic waste (they call white wine)

the list of things that could be cited in regards to chinese behaviour could fill volumes, but after awhile, one does begin to behave like them. i like my size in relation to them, when they walk into me, my size can send them flying. i enjoy, pushing them out of line when they cut in front of me. that rudeness is the chinese way and suggest perhaps we are only adapting.

not to forget the purpose of the forum, then the girls. getting a chinese girl of any age, or marital status, is not a problem. getting rid of one is the challenge. and for the most part, the girls are the only bright spot on the chinese front. true gf are plentiful and the only reason to p4p is so you don't have to be hooked to one girl. once you have a gf though watch out, her male friends will discriminate against her because she is going out with a foreigner, they will actually seek "loans" from her because of her rich bf. many of the cutiest, are flat chested, which is sometimes hard to discover until the padded bra comes off. have to admit though, everyone i've been with eventuates into a sexual adventurer. conversation of a meaningful nature is completely lacking and find i move on more out of boredom than anything else.

finally the basic premise that we foreigners will eventually ruin china, because of our behaviour. i don't agree with that, the chinese will cater to us only so long as we serve a purpose. that purpose and tolerance dictated by the government. once the government decides foreigners are no longer valued, the whole tolerance will evaporate. even in the last couple of years, i've seen a major shift in the value placed on the foreign advisors. as a population we are not liked here in china, we are required. the chinese people as a population don't love us, never have, they want what we have, and for that they need us. today. their fake courtesy in social settings, their apparant deference to us, one has to be here awhile to see what they really think. even the little gifts they give to foreigners, they would never give to a chinese person, all that psuedo jade, pictures, they call it tourist junk for the foreigners. trinkets to the indians.

i am here for the money, plain and simple. with a degree in chinese studies, what i once thought was an intriguing gentle culture, i see now to be a very opportunistic culture. think i am too harsh. who's picture is on all the money and hangs above the great gate overlooking tianamin square? mao, the single biggest mass murderer in world history. stalin and hitler were absolute amateurs to what this man did, and he is their icon. and don't be so niave to think there is a separation between government, business and the people. the best and brightest join the communist party, they are all part of the system. arrogant and rude, maybe so, but feel i fit right in to the chinese system. my opinion and value yours, thanks

Majority of chinese girl you met simply are attached to you because of the following

1- $$$$
2- a chance to move out of country.

That is the truth.Well I might be yes. But 2 of the girls I'm talking about were RICH and I mean RICH, so I don't thik they got into the VISA / MONEY issue. Like South said, it's more a face thing. In some social circles, going out with a tall and good looking foreigner increases your "face" value as much as a LV bag does.

thats in shanghai. in other cities, people tehd to be less agressive, less money oriented. i did manage to become friends with several chinese girls, i mean friends, no sex at all. been firends for years, and they're the nicest and most honest people you will find. they're the first to be disgusted by some people's behaviour and actually call them "low education people" or "farmers".

true that chinese tend to be exremeley rude, pretentious (the face thing is just ridiculous) and also, racist. but, i've noticed that as the country develops, some people are starting to be less "like everyone else". in short, not all the chinese people thinks the same way, especially in the north or amoung young educated people. that's the people you have to know. finally, chinese people value kindness. over time, if they realize ou are kind to them, they will treat you as a friend, regardless of your nationality, and even if tey treated you like shit to begin with. lon term, always. build relationships.

now let's face it, the behaviour of people from my own country sometimes really disgusts me, and they"'re rude to foreigners too in their own way. maybe not that rude, but pretty lame. see what i mean americans, french, spanish?
