Anyone have info on good pickup bars and saunas in the Pudong area near the Shangra La Hotel?
This is the first time I am visiting SH.
I will be ina hotel at xuhui Shanghai.
Looking for some awesome sensual massage, spa experience and recommendations for Incall providers.

Most of the larger sauna establishments probably pay a large protection fee to operate, so they can be presumed safe. If there is something wrong, the management will usually turn business away.
Since you will be staying in Xuhui, I would suggest you to try out 999 Sauna.
I don't know much about in-calls in Shanghai, but my experiences in Beijing is pretty much hit or miss, and it is usually on the missing side unfortunately.

Thomas JeffersonFrom the airport, take the Maglev train to the end. 7minutes. Get a cab from the line and go to Bodi. 5 minute ride. 1245 Longyuan Road. If I remember correctly. Google it to be sure. Longyuan is one of the roads by the Train Station. Go into the door on the left. You'll be from the airport and back in under 3 hours with a 60-90 minute session in the middle. Girl will be a 7-8 and it will cost you 880.

Just found this website and joined as a paying member. I have been posting on the USA site for a while now under the same username.
Anyway, I have been going to Shanghai on business for about 10 years now. I resisted getting into the hobby until about a year ago and now I am hooked.

Sharing experiences and, thus, using the best of feed-backs here has always been my way. As well as sharing when I have something to share. Unfortunately, not much. Hi. Where are you staying? As to your original question, I know of only one place where BJ is "on the menu". At almost every other place, it's YMMV. I recently visited the famous HaiLang sauna. My third time. In Shanghai. As others have noted, it may be a bit hard to find, not because it's in a isolated place, but is in the middle of a busy street, stores, homes and shops.
The official address is Zhong Shan Xi Lu 1277 or 1279, and it's near the Hongqiao Street station on Line 10. [See the enclosed pictures for the Chinese address, and location]. Next to it is an entrance to a complex. Go inside and make an immediate left. You'll see guys in suits and tuxes and ask them for Hai Lang and they'll take you inside.
The place is very well organized. Just say or point that you want to go upstairs. They speak enough English. You'll be asked to deposit all your belongings in a locker and given a key, pajamas and slippers. They are very particular you don't take your phone or any money with you (they don't want you tipping the girls). You'll be taken to a fishbowl. visited a sauna in luwan district on dapu road. it's about a 5 minute walk from the dapuqiao subway station (line 9) and it's connected to a green tree inn (ge lin hao tai). heading south down dapu road (before you hit xushi road) to the right you'll see a green-neon vertical sign along the edge of a building for the hotel. beneath that there's another small neon sign that reads "massage", though if you walk past at night you might miss it as the sign doesn't light up. anyway, in between some (legit) barbershops and convenience stores you'll see the entrance to the hotel. the reception desk is to the left, the elevator is straight ahead, and then there's a hallway that veers right. the hallway to the right leads to the sauna. if you ask the hotel staff, they can direct you (it's a little hard to find). eventually you'll take a different elevator up to the fourth floor where the sauna is.

As Nanjing 580 is closed, tried the place people on this forum called Si Yuan.
It was hard to find, may be I missed the directions given in the forum but here it is anyway.
Find hotel Merrylin. 818 Zhangyang road in Pudong, very near century avenue underground station.
Go in to the hotel, straight to the elevators. 3rd floor. No signs, nothing.
You walk in, told the price (880 for an hr or bit more) , lead to changing room with secure lockers. It is very far to the center (Bund area) , you go through Nanpu bridge to pudong, it is on that motorway, on the otherside so you need to pass it and turn back, at the middle of nowhere!
Taxi was 50RMB from Bund.
