Hi,

I'm in Shanghai for 2 Nights. I was told Manhattan and Judy's are good clubs for CIS girls? Anyone who can recommend a good escort service? CIS or other countries as well. Appreciate your help.

ChinaLover. Your experiences seem very similar to mine back in August. I was criticized for not RTFF and being stupid for following touts. Some of the "elder statesmen" of the board even went so far as to accuse me of making up the story. I am sorry that happened to you. I think we both learned a valuable lesson. If you want to read what happened to me and my friend read #9105 - "Shanghai Shakedown" on August 8th.

It's pretty bad when you have to watch out for so many different characters in China. If its not the crooked cop, then watch out for touts. If not the touts then watch out for the thieving cabbies. If not the thieving cabbies you better watch out for the "students" trying to convince you that a nice Tea ceremony would be good. If not for. You get the point. I think the number 1 export of China must be DIS-HONEST people waiting to SCAM at every turn.

Thankfully I am in a tropical island right now and headed to the beach where the weather is very nice. Never any wind. Just really HOT ladies.

I have had good experiences in China in several cities during years and I always feel safe.

Maybe overconfident I missed to read these pages and I missed any common sense. Few weeks ago after being several times in Xin Tian Di and in Nanjing Road. Pedestrian (between People Square and the Bond) where I saw many people offering services to tourists (now I know they are Touts scammers criminal bad people), even when the police were nearby. Stupid me I felt confident.

I accepted following one of them to a place (almost in the corner of Dianchi and Yuanminyuan) and my experience was horrible. First they charged me the fee for regular service, and at the end a threatening guy came, and demanded a large amount. I said no. He became very threatening (fight attitude), even pushed me and called his friend. It was very scary, the confrontation lasted several long minutes. Since I was alone and inside their place I imagined they could do anything bad to me and nobody would ever know. I finished giving him 800 and I was happy I left and I was not hurt and alive.

I noticed that in those two places (Xin Tian Di and Nanjing Rd) the Touts follow all tourists, and the police there see that and do nothing. Some people like me lack of common sense follow them and get in horrible trouble. The incident was several weeks ago but I still remember clearly each second of that terrible moment, and the stupid guy threatening me, it is a horrible memory-feeling.

Right after the incident I went to the police station (Ningbo Henan), three blocks from the incident. I talked to the police there (female police) but she offered no help, I even believe Police know and do nothing.

I believe Shanghai is a good place but common sense is a must like in any place in the world.

Please never follow the touts as many people already mentioned in this forum.

I also hope the police there starts being honest and protect the tourists, or they will forever have a bad memory of the city and the country.

If one does his homework (RTFF) and becomes a member there are many benefits. Of course there are crackdowns like anywhere. Shanghai remains an excellent venue for our members.

I also hope the police there starts being honest and protect the tourists, or they will forever have a bad memory of the city and the country. This forum is also about giving hints how to move in Shanghai and what to avoid. I think there are warnings on every second page about not to follow touts. I assume you did some reading before.

In some cases particular people think they are still smarter than the crowd posting and warning here about the monger risks.

In some particular stupid cases, people think of themselves as "street-smart", but then, do fall into each and every possible trap, which can occur. I think they simply should stay away from places like Shanghai and enjoy the wind and the sun at safer places, because they are de facto too stupid for the place.

Hello fellow mongers,

Hi from India,

I am scheduled to be in Shanghai In the 3rd week of Feb. For three nights.

Any pointers towards good places / streets for MP / pick up clubs / night life etc would be very appreciated.

Need advice on reliable places, and promise to return the favor if any one needs help in India.

Thanks in advance guys.As an Indian, go to "Kaveen's Kitchen" for dinner. It is opposite of the Hilton (close to the corner Yanan Lu / Huashan Lu). Ask the owner, Vic, to show you of his magic. You will be amazed!!

From there, the "action" (Judy's / Manhattan) is in a walking distance.

Enjoy!

It has been a while since I last posted a report but after two years stuck in Europe I am now back to the nice places where actions worth reporting. I recently got a nice experience with WeChat while I was staying at the Marriott Pudong. As I was experiencing WeChat I was receiving lots of invites and I picked up one from a lady named Cici. Cici was a masseuse working in the Spa attached to the hotel. We doesn't speak any English so as I don't have a clue in Chinese we were using WeChat translator only. After a while she offered me a room service for 1200 RMB. I obviously argued saying that 1) this is far too expensive 2) I was looking for a more intimate kind of service. We then continued the chatting during the day and as the tone was getting friendlier and as we were getting closer to twilight, she then said she wanted to give me a massage for free in my room. Wow nice! We agreed and we was at my door sharp at the agreed time. Cici is good looking in her mid 30's a bit chubby with beautiful the cup boops. After she entered in my room she prepared a towel on the bed for the massage, undressed in underwear and then started massaging me the back. The massage was good quality although a bit too soft for me. Few smart touching aroused me enough to be in good shape when she asked me to flip over. When I was lying on the back then massaged ma legs and suddenly without any notice I felt he hand on my dick and she started giving me an excellent non covered blowjob. After few minutes I pulled her up to kiss her and as she was obviously enjoying I started licking her pussy and we had enjoyable sex together. Afterward I offered her a drink at the bar and we agreed to meet again the day after. The day after we had another passionate session and as she was sucking me for a second round she received a call from her sister who was arriving from her province so she had to go. I gave her 300 RMB for the taxi and we agreed to meet again the next night. For some reason she couldn't make it (her sister was keeping her busy and I had to leave the country) but we kept in touch on WeChat until my next visit two month later. The night I arrived she was waiting for me at my hotel and we went directly to my room for a great session after I offered her favorite Chanel perfume. She stayed with me the whole night so we also enjoyed sex the morning. As it was obvious that she was expecting a serious relationship I decided to break up. She accepted no problem. Total damage for 2ST and one full night: 300 RM (taxi) + 70 € (perfume). I can give her mobile to any senior member showing good track record on this forum but please be careful: Cici is a nice person who deserves respect and attention.

I was staying at the Marriott and based on the good reports I read, I decided the pay a visit to Sha Na Na. This is a nice place kinda up market. The massage menu is pretty large. Receptionist speaks a decent English. I opted for the 120 min massage in VIP room (larger and equipped with a shower). I was allocated a 35-40 years old masseuse named Winnie (n°95) dressed in white mini shirt and polo. Winnie is nice, pretty and speaks a good English. She offered me a drink before the massage and I had a shower while she was preparing my tea. She gave me a paper short and insisted I wear it (I don't like). After I finished my tea she proceeds to give me a very good quality massage on my back, thighs and legs with several proper touching at the right places while we were chatting and flirting. It has always been very clear that the happy ending was on the menu so I felt relax during the whole session. Then she asked me to flip over and the quick negotiation started. We agreed at 300 RMB which no given compared to the place I now in Paris but I know Shanghai is an expensive place. The finish was excellent. No time pressure I think it was 20-30 min of excellent penis massage (as opposed to HJ I can do by myself). Winnie was using oils and she did everything to make the pleasure last longer, stopping when required until I couldn't wait. We had a lot of fun together joking all the time. After I came, she cleaned me and I had a final shower. I left the place relax and destressed. I really recommend "Winnie 95" although the tariff is pretty high. I visited Winnie twice during my stay before I flew to Manila to have a couple of days with my girlfriend. No reports about that (this is private) but you can read about the rest of my journey in Singapore forum.

Is Shanghai worse than anywhere else? I don't think so. Many cities in the world have scams operating openly.

I remember in the 90's in Bali, there were a scams (usually involving a false gambling debt, or a broken promise of marriage) that were so prevalent that the Australian government had very prominent warnings on their websites and Qantas used to hand out warning brochures about the scams on every flight. And many victims ended up losing large amounts of money or even ended up in prison (Police were involved in the scams). Probably still happens today! Interesting that the instances I observed were all run by Chinese!

In Hanoi, I have been stopped many times by SYTs claiming to be university students and wanting to practice their English, haha! They always wanted to go to a place of their choosing, even though sometimes we were only a stone's throw from my hotel (the Hilton next to the Opera House). Once 2 girls followed us inside Bobby Chinn's restaurant, but refused to have a coffee with us and quickly left when the waitress approached us.

In Shenzhen, some of the smaller KTVs take advantage of naive or drunk groups and pad the bill alarmingly and a few threaten violence. And of course following an unknown tout to an unknown destination is significantly increasing the risk that something bad may happen. There was even a kidnapping case in ChangPing some years ago, where one of our well known ISGers saved the day by getting the hotel to change the key code to the victim's hotel room and detaining one of the girls that came to get the victim's other credit cards.

I am sure that other ISGers here could add to these stories in many other cities in the world. The main criticism that I would make is that airport immigration and all Shanghai hotels and tourist agencies should hand out warning brochures.

IkksNo country will ever openly admit their own police is corrected and or can't control crime. Maybe torist agencies abroad should or would, me it even in that case it is like "don't buy this trip".

We know a lot of people, especially tourists, are often emotionals and would take some negative advice like "it is a war front".

There is people scared to fly turboprop planes as they are small and have propellers.

There is people deeply scared to go in a country after a terrorist attack (it is probably safer than anywhere else after the attack).

There are some nationalities that can be sort of manipulated by official news.

My corporate sent an alert a week ago to be cautious if we travel to Istanbul and Ankara. Wtf?

So go imagine immigration handing over a brochure like that.

At the best you can hope on friendly suggestions front the hotel, or friendly suggestions for your travel agency. But they'd feel weird in telling you that, trust me, as you could say "I am gown up and I know how to travel".

Every time I have to transit through Shanghai Pudong Airport, I have to wait in long lines without thousands other travelers, who do not enter China, but have to wait for about 1 hour in line to show passports to Chinese Immigration workers. These workers don't seem to have any means to check the passports. They were just looking at them for no reasons.

After showing passports, travelers are rounded up like cattle to wait in another long line to wait for 2 antiquated X-ray machines to screen their luggage.

Some of those travelers risk being late, losing their seats on their connecting flight.

The Chinese immigration workers do not seem to know or to care for the needs of travelers. Most don't even know how their immigration system and procedures work. The Chinese immigration workers were horsing around, having fun at their posts, seeming to delight in humiliating foreigners, making them submit to their stupid, nonsense rules. They act in slow, inefficient and very unprofessional manners.

The facilities at Shanghai Pudong terminals and gates are very poor. The waiting areas at the gate were freezing cold because the door to the outside tarmac was stuck open. There were very few or no food or drink sold, not even water fountains. China Eastern was ferrying passengers by buses to board their planes in freezing open weather. Some of those passengers were from warm areas like Los Angeles; they were freezing on the tarmac in their summer clothes, while the other passengers took their time clogging up the aisles looking for their ideal overhead storage bins, and the flight attendants were not doing much to speed up the boarding process. When I got to the plane's door the top of the stairs, I had to tell the chief attendant to speed up the boarding so the rest of the passengers won't freeze to death outside the plane.

I ran into some of the rudest passengers and workers transiting Shanghai. Of course I also ran into Yoko Ono, her son Sean and 2 young and tall body guards, being led through special VIP lounge without waiting in line to the plane, which was a China Eastern flight code share as a Delta flight. I hardly think Yoko Ono would get any attention from anyone or should deserve special treatments at airports.

These stupid and rude immigration workers cause very negative impressions of inhospitable and unfriendly attitudes of Shanghai and China to foreign travelers. I have not seen this poor service and attitudes in other airports in China. I will get on yelp and give China Easter a zero for their passenger services. I will also be sending my complaints to the leadership of Shanghai. Any bros witnessing this poor service should make their complaints to appropriate authorities.

Of course Shanghai leaders may tell me to stick my complaints up my ass for the Chinese New year.

Also, I recommend avoiding China Eastern Airlines at all costs. American & United run their own flights to Shanghai.

If I read correctly, the news is about a raid done April 2015, raid done to only one establishment. The bad experiences continue to happen in recent months, and there are many touts with several of those places, not only one. As my report says there are many touts in Xin Tian Di and Nanjing Rd, targeting tourists, and they recruit many tourists almost in front of the police.

As I said I like China a lot, great country with good people. What happened to me doesn't make SHA a less better place, SHA is a great city. It can happen everywhere with so many tourists and those gangs taking advantage. My mistake for not RTFF and not seen the value of other's advice, trying to outsmart myself, overconfident, stupidity, hot little head, lack of common sense, etc. 100% my fault, I accept.

I just hope that my message helps others for not having the same stupid mistake I did. I also wish LE pays attention to the issue if people complain.

We'll see if those goofballs are still out at People's Park and Nan Jing East trying to lure tourists. It might just be a one-off.

As the forum has repeatedly advised, Shanghai is a remarkably safe city if you use approved services, including escorts, bar girls, saunas and massage parlors. If on the other hand you deal with touts, including "college students" and taxi drivers, you've got a nearly 100% chance of getting ripped off.

From what I heard some places should reopen in Minhang during the CNY.

That includes some of the MPs on HM Rd. Reason being that large scale raids are less likely during the CNY itself.

However if it does happen (was meant to start reopening this afternoon), I was told they would probably be shut down again at the end of CNY.

It seems people are afraid that the January raids were just a warm up for a bigger event to come the weeks following CNY.

Stay safe.

Do you seriously think it is JUST the Teahouse scam that gives SCAMHAI a black eye? It couldn't have anything to do with having a 9 MM put to your face after being taken to a "massage Bar" by a tout now. Could it? This place is OVER PRICED and too dangerous for even me. I hope Donald J Trump is elected! USA Rules!

For reference, I'm Asian and grew up in Canada but I speak decent Chinese. This is all a lot easier if you speak Chinese or know someone who does.

Minhang, Yangpu, Putuo, and Hongkou districts have the most plentiful and cost effective mongering opportunities because rent is cheaper but they're still near the city center. There are various ways to gain access. Websites, QQ groups, WeChat, or local friends.

1) KTVs: price range 1500-3000+ per person.

Chinese guys don't come to these places strictly for the sex. They do this for bro-bonding and business purposes, or whenever they feel like having a bachelor party though no one's getting married. Go early, like 6 pm early. The later you go, the bigger the chance that you'll be stuck with the leftover girls of the night. KTV is broken into two stages. The party in the room, and the sex afterwards. The first stage is obviously cheaper if you go with a larger group because you can split the cost of the room and the tip to the mamasan and DJ. You also need to pay a separate tip to the girl whom you picked to party with you. Be prepared to pay 1000-1500+ for the first stage at a minimum. Sex with the KTV girl is by no means guaranteed; it's usually a negotiation between you and the girl, and sometimes she will refuse to go with you. If she's interested, she'll suggest that you all go for hotpot afterwards or something similar. Be prepared to pay an additional 800-1500 for sex, though in rare cases it can be had for free if she really likes you. I don't recommend the free route though (lots of potential drama down the road).

Final note, KTVs are broken into two broad categories: "herbivore" places ("suchang") and "carnivore" places ("hunchang" In herbivore places, the girls don't get naked and the most you can do in the KTV room is probably just kiss them. In carnivore places, you play these games where everyone takes all their clothes off, and you can do pretty much everything short of actual sex in the KTV room. Girls from carnivore places are much more likely to have sex with you afterwards. I know some KTV girls from herbivore places that claim to have never had sex with a customer.

2) Saunas: price range 500-2000.

I sometimes go to these places if I'm bored and have 3-4 hours to kill. Unlike at KTVs, sex here is guaranteed. You can do the sauna stuff (it's usually included in the price), relax for a bit, and then when you're ready, pick a girl from a lineup of anywhere from 3 to 20+ girls (depending on the size of the place and how busy it is). Girls are categorized (priced) based on height, fairness of skin, facial features, and which part of China they're from. Not on service. Most are in the 800-1200 range. Stereotypically, girls from places like Sichuan and Hunan tend to be shorter and less pricey, while girls from Shanghai and Beijing tend to be expensive. Service time is 60-90 minutes depending on the place. Service standards are on average the best out of all mongering options, because girls in these places are usually fined if a customer complains.

3) Massage parlors: price range 200-450.

There are four categories of MPs; ranked from cheapest to most expensive: massage+HJ ("tuiyou" or TY), massage+BBBJCIM ("koubao" or KB), massage+sex ("ganmo" or GM), and nuru massage+sex ("shuimo".

Quality of the girls in these places aren't necessarily worse than the less expensive ones at saunas, but they're definitely higher mileage and probably less educated. Service is about the same as saunas, but the rooms and beds are much smaller and usually not as clean. It's also a bit riskier, because these places are busted by the local police more often (maybe once every 3-6 months). To minimize the risk, avoid visiting these places between the hours of 6 PM and 11 PM, because that's when 99% of raids occur. As long as you avoid this period, you should be safe.

4) WeChat outcall girls: 800 for ST, 1400-1500 for overnight, plus cab fare.

I've negotiated with these but never actually had one come over in SH, so can't comment. They're everywhere; just use People Nearby on WeChat or use Tantan (Chinese Tinder) for a bit and an ad with a naked girl pic and WeChat number will show up after a few swipes. I've had a few outcalls when traveling to other Chinese cities, and I must say the service is significantly inferior to saunas / MPs. There is absolutely no quality control, and they upsell or leave early whenever possible. As others have said, pay the girl after the deed to ensure at least a passable experience.

5) Tantan / Tinder: free. ?

Had some success with both of these apps, but it's hit and miss and very much a numbers game. Usually requires a coffee or lunch date to gauge their interest and intentions. Most Chinese girls are just curious about Tantan and aren't actively looking to hook up. The best sex I've had in SH is from a Tinder hookup though, whom I now pay for regular overnight booty calls.

6) Final note on getting the WeChat of working girls.

I get the WeChat of nearly every working girl whose service I liked, though in my experience it may or may not be worth it. Whatever you do, don't tell anyone (especially the establishment) that you have their WeChat; most places fine the girls between 500-3000 for giving out their WeChat to customers. I've converted working girls into a freebies before, but at the cost of a LOT of drama. I've also gotten working girls to come over to my place for as low as 200 plus cab fare, which is both cheaper and safer than doing the deed at a sauna or MP.

The bottom line is, my advice is to always pay for sex with working girls. They'll view it as a transaction and save you a lot of headache down the road. It also makes sense cost and safety wise.

If anyone has a contact at either place, I'd greatly appreciate a pm with the info. I was at Bodi once, but always feel I get better service if I have a contact in hand (and never been to siyuan).

I can help with information (contacts) in the gubei / min hang area.

Cheers,

Taz.

BTW: seems min hang is starting to open back up.

For reference, I'm Asian and grew up in Canada but I speak decent Chinese. This is all a lot easier if you speak Chinese or know someone who does.Very nice summary of the options available to Chinese speakers. The other option I've tried was banyou.com which is a freelancer site. Prior to going to the Philippines earlier this month, I've never really had much experience with freelancers but I found out that a good interview technique is very important to filtering out the non-GFEs you may encounter on banyou or wechat.

Gents,

I am led to believe by many WGs in Saigon, that there is a favored haunt (bar / club) that specialises in Vietnamese girls. I know many a girl that has gone to Shanghai for a week or two, but I have never been successful of finding out the name and location of this specialty bar / club.

Please send me a PM with details.

Kindest regards,

Can wear your street clothes to your private room. But it is pretty far south min hang, I found there to be much closer alternatives.

Thank you for the advice. My understanding from speaking with locals is that yes: FS is available in a lot of bath houses, but the qualities of WG are not good: many are older with not so hot bodies (saunas had been or rejects?), and services are short and mechanical. I guess that is why prices are cheap: in the 160 to 200 rmb range. And there will be problem with communication: No English !!
Caveat: all these are hearsay. I do not have first hand experience with bath houses.

Certainly, an excellent summary, many thanks. I actually think saunas are great value, when compared to other Asian cities, but sometimes tricky for non-Chinese speakers. Unlike Thailand, this city primarily caters to locals, not foreigners.

Plenty of options in Shanghai. Cheap BBS to high end providers. Plus cuisine for all over the world. I'm having Jiangsu or Sichuan or Fujian soon. All depends on where Auntie arrives first.

I can't stand the environment or rushed service at most BBS.

KTV cost is somewhat unpredictable and a waste of time on non-essential activities such as wine and drinking games.

Picking up girls at bars or ordering out-call can be a completely hit or miss experience with inflated prices.

Saunas at least provide some quality control over the service and usually at a fixed price.

Yes, not all saunas have multi-lingual staff and they may respond differently to customers that do not speak Chinese.

I don't recommend the free route though (lots of potential drama down the road)...===============================================

Will be traveling to China for 5 weeks, visiting various cities (Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Chengdu, and maybe more). But will have relatives in tow for most of it, so not much free time. I do speak fluent mandarin, but have difficulty reading and writing.

However, will be flying solo in Shanghai MinHang March 12 to around 19th (could change, who knows). Read probably the last 40 pages of this thread and SNG as well (is membership recommended there? Looks like Sauna and maybe picking up a FL at Judy / Manhattan's is the route I'm going for some P2P. However, I also really like legit massage, so will definitely hit some of those up, P2P as a bonus. Any recommendations for hotels that is reasonably close to both (I'm thinking about a JinJiang Inn close to Hongqiao)?

My PM's should work.

I think Metro 9 option described by Staid Lo back on 10/20/15 is better than the line 2 option described, although the turns after you exited from the #3 exit should be left on Pudong South Road and left again into the square.

Like:

Lineup: You pick at the fish bowl. All are dressed in same uniform dress, so you may not be distracted by the dress alone.

Service: The one I had (#617) gave great service. She was decent looking (to each his taste though) . She hopped right into it without wasting time on the B side. So I got pretty much the full 70 min of play. Many time you get a perfunctory BJ with providers, but she gave one of the best, LONG lip service. It was very close to GFE, and she cuddled for several minutes afterwards because the 70 minutes session was not up yet. Highly recommended.

Price: for a well appointed place in the high rent district of Pudong, the price was very cheap. 580 rmb for a 70 min session of dry grind if you checked out by 8:30 pm. (No Nuru massage)

The manager said the price will go up on March 1, to 600 rmb if check out time is before 8:30 pm and 700 after. Still a bargain, especially if you get good service like I did.

Dislike:

Not only do you have to undress in a common area, they do not give you the pajamas until after you do a long naked walk to the common shower area, and then repeat the long naked walk back to a place to dry up in front of a couple of attendants. When I was there, there were 7 or 8 buck naked guys in the change room, shower and towel down areas.

I qq one of the Minhang saunas I had visited a couple of times previously to " make an appointment" on Sunday (2/14). The manager said the place was open, but many girls were still not back from their trips home. So I told him I will wait till later on in the week for the visit. I qq him today and there was no response. I texted him, and again no response. I was in the area anyway, so I just pop in. The door to the place was locked and plastered by two stripes of official seals in the form of an X, announcing the place had been shut down by the MinHang Police Department. The same thing was on the front door of a "foot massage" place in the same block.

I feel bad for the staff if they had been arrested. The girls I spent time with there were very nice and pleasant. I hate to think of them in such a jam. At the same time, I shudder at the thought that I could have been there during the raid. I do not watch local Chinese TV news or read the local papers, so I do not know if those successful raids had been publicized by the LE.

Found a gem who's been working in an MP and now willing to do takeout FS for some extra cash. Some of the regulars here have tried her and gotten super service. PM me for more info, no I'm not getting a penny out of this, you deal with her direct, I just provide contact info.Have another GEM, this one a sauna girl in the Hongkou area, available for takeout FS at your hotel. Pretty sure no one here's ever tried her. For those who love visiting the romantic greek islands, I think she's available for that too. Absolutely zero English so you probably should have a translation app on your phone handy. If interested PM me for details. Same as before, you deal with her direct, I'm not her pimp.

They rarely allow kissing, let alone deep French kisses. I do not know why: they do BBBJ, which carries much higher risk of catching STD than a peck in the lips.I guess it is not a matter of risk, it is a matter of intimacy. In Europe, whether you get French kisses is highly depending on how is the chemistry between you and WGs in the clubs which don't require WGs to offer GFE. So obviously, better-looking and more charming you are, or longer you know the WG, higher chance you get GFE. Here in Shanghai it is very difficult for foreigners to have some sort of chemistry with WGs. I am pretty sure they do GFE with locals.

Yeah, ordinary Chinese girls don't meet guys on wechat and get together at 11:00 pm. Ordinary Chinese girls actually want sex (or at least sex with the hope of a relationship) with Western guys, but you have to meet in other ways. Finding someone who want to improve her English is a great way to go.

Last week on a weekday, right after CNY, I happened to be in the neighborhood, and decided to give it a swirl.

Got there around 6 pm ish, this is truly a family joints. Dads bring their boys to the shower, and Jacuzzi area, and damn, people smoked everywhere, in the locker room, shower, and even resting area.

After shower, got a tiny little towel to dry off, went up there for a short rest. Kinda dark in the room with recliners and big screen tv. Providers walking around feeling me up and asked I wanted to go with them. I instead took a girl with blue uniform for an hour massage. She took me to the room beside the resting area, it's a shared room with glass door, so obviously nothing extra was offered. A girl from shandong next to us was quite flirtatious, got an ample chest and nice face, next time I will pick her. My girl was quite talkative from anhui, a bit chubby, but none-the-less provided a decent massage.

After the massage, I went back to the smoky room and rest. 1 by 1 they come by to solicit, and I took 1 to do the deed. Nothing to write home about. At the front desk, they asked for a bit under 3 maos for all the services rendered.

In summary, if you are looking for cheaper alternative, and a la carte, this may be your place, but don't go there with the expectation that are good looking, they are not, 2 caught my eye with sorta sultry MILF look, but I did not have another round left in me to try them.

Thank you northsouth for the referral.

SL.

The girls were (none older than 30, I'm pretty sure), in good shape and cute. The one I walked off with was a no brainier and even had a nice butt, which is somewhat hard to find in Asia. I'd say she even seemed excited as she basically skipped while leading me to my room. There was no group rub down for me. I suppose I could've done that, but every girl I talked to offered the "full package (FS). " There were a bunch of the massage chairs around with guys getting legit rubdowns while chain smoking, but that's not what I was there for. As for the wash, I think people really do go in to get washed and scrubbed down. There was even a boy and his father there just for the wash, so I think the funny business upstairs is just an extra that some people take advantage of while many others just go for the wash and a hard rub scrub or legit massage from a male masseuse (in full view of everyone at the bath).

I'm not an expert on this part, but just my assumption: I'd guess it's extremely unlikely you'd find a first time wg in most Shanghai saunas, and perhaps impossible to find a physical virgin. Anyone know if Kang Ding is open (and safe) now? I'm getting conflicting reports. One of the mamasans there messaged me saying KD will be closed this entire year due to safety concerns. But then I messaged one of my regular girls there, and she said it had just re-opened, and she was still working there. Strange!

Its quite common for managers to leave a place and promote another one faking the old one closed. Or sometimes when it really closed, faking the new one is a new location of the previous place when in reality both have nothing to do with each other and its just the manager trying to drive his / her old business to where he / she went.

On a side note, don't forget the G20 is in China this year http://www.g20.org/English/ so expect the winds to be also based on events around these meetings.

IE: today / tomorrow finance delegations are meeting in Shanghai.

The report continued.

Been milked almost twice tonight. Unfortunately not the happy kind.

Teahouse scam.

Attractive lady adds me on wechat. We chat a little in Chinese, agree on meeting later straight away (red flag, I guess no Chinese girl would do that so easily? Meeting point was a Star bucks to have a chat over coffee. It was 23 pm already (red flag). I Arrive at the meeting point, of course the Starbucks has closed. Much to my surprise the girl is very pretty and comely and super friendly in conversation, not reserved or shy at all (red flag). She suggests a place nearby and we get into a cab, enticing very smooth convo. Arrival at that place, very run-down and back-alley-esque and my rising suspicion has dawned on me: It's going to be a KTV / Teahouse scam!. Our chatter quickly becomes a monologue of her questions as my chattiness comes to a halt. I try to tell her to stop a few times to no avail, she insists on going inside with the typical KTV manager lady when I eventually stop right before the room demanding that I did not agree to this, I've turned around and started walking away, but gently grabbing my girls hand telling her I want to go somewhere else, no KTV. I try to let her keep some face. She doesn't throw a tantrum, we go into a cab and she suggest to go some place on the Bund. I let her and this is when I realized that she began texting frantically. I manage to catch a glimpse of her homescreen: it was covered with Wechat apps, around 15 - 20. I guess all different identities huh. I let the cabbie drive some more and then I've let her know that it has been getting too late and I'm going to go to my hotel. She protests but I'm telling the taxi driver directly and affirming it a few times even. So when we get there, I get out and she's asking for the cab fee. I reply that she wanted to pay for the first ride anyways and that this is her chance, I slam the door, bye bye.

If you get into a situation like this: let her and everyone involved keep their face as much as possible. Of course if you get in and already had a sip then you're done.

When I got back to the hotel, called the spa to arrange for a love sister. The girl came up to my room, very mediocre looking, was asking 2000 rmb. I told her 1000 rmb and I knew it was a mistake but I just had about enough and needed some release. The deed was very very bad.

The report used to be very detailed, but was not submitted properly and most was lost. So I'm cutting it short now.

Almost got scammed yet again:

Gone to 'the shelter'. Filipino lady dancing, seems to know the DJ etc. We didn't pay too much attention to her, but incidentally bumped into her by the door when we decided to leave for another place. Asked her where to party, she suggested a place 'fabric'. Same pattern as above, engaging you in conversation, but this time she had been contradicting herself a lot. But to our luck, when we went there it was empty. We left, she scrammed.

I have had many similar situations and my buddy lost $2,700 USD. Not good and I feel Scamhai is the shit bowl of the world. Here's a little joke for you -.

Question. How do you know when someone in Scamhai is trying to scam you?

Answer. When they breathe.

For reference, I'm Asian and grew up in Canada but I speak decent Chinese. This is all a lot easier if you speak Chinese or know someone who does.

Thanks for the report. I'm ABC. How do you discreetly get the WeChats of the girls? Don't they have security cams in the rooms?

I continue to enjoy using this outfit for a quickie. Most of the providers are rather attractive, a notch below sauna girls but certainly ok. I don't care for the negotiation, and if the provider pushes it too far, I just take the massage and HJ for 268. For an extra 100. I expect to see them naked and unlimited roaming. I know there are foreigners that they sucker into 200 or 300, but it's simply not worth it. At 600, you'll get more for your $ at a sauna.

There are more than 30 Spring Massage places around Shanghai. Never even considered FS given that it's just a massage table.

I agree, this is a good one. But I wish the 268 girls gave as good a massage as the 198 girls (no he). I really don't care for the silly fake tongue thing the 268 girls do. I'd rather the time was spent getting my knots out.

Also, have you found another list of Spring Massage locations? SNG has about 20, but some have closed.

My wingman is a Taiwanese ABC in his late 30's, speaking perfect Putonghoa.

He went to Suzhou to meet with a young Chinese girls he was head in heel in love with, intending to marry. He showed me her pics. She looks skinny, pale skin, like a doll. In real life she's about 30 lbs heavier and look very ordinary, below average. She said Chinese girls all use Photoshop to make them look skinny and smooth in pics.

He went down to Shanghai with blue balls. A pretty young girl talked him into a massage place 500 Rmb full service. She gave him quick sex, then the bill came to about 7000 rmb. He was arguing with the manager but a few burly guys came out, so he just paid it.

Then he was talked into going to a bar by another cute little girl. He told me he read about the bar and tea house scams in ISG before, but she was very cute and very insistent so he went with her. He does not even drink beer. After some teas and conversation with the girl, they gave him the bill for about US $5000. This time he made a big fuss so a couple muscular guys grabbed him and roughed him up, twisting his arms and elbows. He was in pain, so he paid it with his Amex card. They took US $5000 from his card then tried again next day for another $5000, but Amex had been alerted it did not go through. He was scared shitless.

He did not report the incident to the police but claimed fraud with Amex. After a lot of justifications, Amex refunded the $5000.

I got scammed out of $100 in fake massage and karaoke joints in Vietnam, but always had sweet, pretty, sexy girls in China and never been cheated. Lucky me.

Interesting. The manager had changed her qq handle. The Kang Ding group was hijacked and redirected to a sauna near the Shanghai Swimming Aquarium. If you do not look carefully, you may assume it is a new branch, but ir is not. The place is more expensive than Kang Ding. SNG discussion forum said it is closed until MAYBE after the Lantern Festival on Feb. 22.Sinofaguo is right, often the "manager" (in fact they are "sales guys" who get paid per head) change the place, get fired or what ever and their business base are their customers. If they follow him / her, the business go on, if they keep in the old venue, he is "out" of the game. So it's popular to trick around in a case like that and call the new place a second branch or tell the customers the old venue is closed.

Unfortunately this is not the case with the Kang Ding Lu Sauna. One of the "leaders" in this area has changed and shit happens, the new one is no one who has a "good relationship" with the guys who run the sauna, so there was no other choice than close it. And we have been informed, that there is no "schedule" or plan to reopen there. So seems there is only one more thing to say: R. I. P. It was a nice place and not so far outside!

Also the 45 sauna as the "follow up place" for the Min Hang Sauna has actually the same problem. They still hope they will be able to "built up the relationship", but till that will work, they also no able to open again. But we already researched some good replacements. We will do the checks and page updates next days. Luckily there are still hundreds of saunas in Shanghai (even it get less and less).

Have a good time.

LOL, I'm also ABC from Taiwan, and I think he deserved it too.

Just being able to speak the language doesn't always mean you understand it in their social context.

But following touts in Shanghai after he got scammed in another city is just plain dumb.

BTW, be wary of girls in the "English Corner" in parks and schools.
Many parks and schools in Shanghai feature a little part in the park called "English Corner/英語角" where locals approach foreigners and practice or exchange languages.
Apparently some of these touts and girls have setup shop at these places.
A friend of mine claimed he got scammed by two "really hot" girls he met at Fudan University's English Corner.
After two pots of tea and an hour of chit-chat, he was charged a bill of 3,000 RMB at a cafe near the school.
He said he ended the conversation prematurely when he started to notice the girls are more interested in his occupation and how much he makes more than anything else.
He can't quite remember the exact location, but he says it was definitely within walking distance.
I suspect he was led toward the alleys outside the South Gate of Fudan U.

Recently I noticed a interesting establishment on the corner of Weifang Lu / Pudong South Rd. It is sandwiched between a cigarette store and a restaurant and from the outside looks like some KTV. At the entrance they have LCD screens showing love hotel style rooms. I also saw some young couples go in, so I figured you might be able to bring your freebee there for a discrete encounter. One day, I entered the place and made some inquiry, the front desk guy showed me around, it is indeed a hotel with nice rooms, I got the impression they rent short time too, but the communication was a bit difficult. Does anyone have some more info. Thanks.

Checked out my favorite haunt yesterday : Hongsong / Hongjing Lu. Have not been there for months and the streets look very different, no more bright pink shops stacked with girls waving at you. Most shops were closed and only a few had girls sitting in darkness. I mean who are they trying to fool, still operating under darkness? Anyway I did not feel like exploring further since the darkness prevented me from properly checking out the goods. Ah, back in the good old days...

Checked out my favorite haunt yesterday : Hongsong / Hongjing Lu. Have not been there for months and the streets look very different, no more bright pink shops stacked with girls waving at you. Most shops were closed and only a few had girls sitting in darkness. Most of Minhang is like this since a change in the local gov. As soon as they open, the police will knock at the door for inspection.

Its been that way since 2nd week of January. Rumor at the begining was about the death of someone in a sauna near HongMei Road but the total lock down has been going on for nearly 2 month now except the week during the CNY (as the police was on vacation). Some places reopen with lights turned down and even then they will still get controled from time to time.

The fact that some highly connected places have not been able to reverse the situation in 2 months shows this is a hard move...

I don't go to saunas as I prefer the MP scene but usually check which one advertise / don't to see the safe / unsafe places. If you look at chinese websites theres no more saunas listed in the Minhang district (nor in Jing'an district although the lockdown is less severe there as there are still many MPs opened) but a bunch of them in Hongkou and a few in Changning, Jiading and Zhabei.

How do you get the very busy sauna girls over at your place, I mean they work every day from lunch time till late. When they are on their week off, they usually take a rest and do not seem very eager to do some side business.I don't know either. But I think they do have some days off (maybe extra days for their period or sick leave?

I've met quite a few girls who like to talk about shopping. A lot.

I've actually received a call from a lady working at 999 like 11:30 PM, she asked me if I was interested in joining her for hotpot at 2 AM?

Of course I declined because I had work to do the next morning.

Sinofaguo is right, often the "manager" (in fact they are "sales guys" who get paid per head) change the place, get fired or what ever and their business base are their customers.

The boss of 45 must be going crazy, if my information is correct, he just 're-opened' that place last February and just opened a 2nd Hi-end place down the road this past November. Seems he had a lot of power. Not to mention the money invested.

The girls normally work at least 12 hours a day, and the only days they mostly not work are their "red holidays", which is a time you also not really want to spend together with a sauna girl. So mostly they are not interested to date customers "outside". Combined with the fact, that this is a "No Go Rule" in every sauna, and if their management would find out, they will be fired and it would be hard for them to find another job, because many of the managers are share experiences like that. So a girl must trust a customer a lot before she start to date him. Mostly that happen when they just quit one job and they are free till they start a new one. In this time many of this girls try to find out, if they also could survive with their "old customers" as freelancers. If successful, they go on, if not, they will work in the next sauna.

The MP and sauna girls take 40-60% with the rest going to the house, so they probably make about 200-500 rmb max per customer.

Most of these places do let the girls take a few hours off if they are "red popular".

99% Chinese guys do not tip so the girls don't make any extra cash.

These girls are in the business for one thing only. Money (not the sex like some would think).

It makes things 100 times easier if you speak the language. Get their wechat ID, remind them that doing take outs give them 100% without the house taking a cut, tip them a little (while you're still seeing them at the sauna), send a few text once in awhile so they remember you, be willing to pay just a little more. I've had success, they all seem willing if you make it worth their while.

The challenge though, is to get the girls to shave, if you somehow managed to convince them to do so, I'd sure like to know how ...

Seems like only the independents go bald. A few WG in the Suzhou bars shave. Lots of massage gals are married so shaving would not go over well with the hubby. Try DATY. That might loosen them up to do takeout. But money is the only incentive, really.

Hey,

I'm interested in whether there's a bar where you can pick up WGs that's a bit more relaxed than Judy's or Manhatten's. Somewhere you can sit down and have a few beers in a more relaxed environment, but still take a girl home if you want.

Thanks

Armed with a sound portfolio of good photos it is very easy to approach girls on the street or even in Starbucks. Much better than endlessly lurking on Wechat etc. A few times I met a massage or sauna girl outside for a shoot and once my reward was a nice BJ in the park where we took the shoot. My final 'shot' was best ....

ThanksHi JMac. I was just at Purple Mountain hotel this past weekend and there are a few WGs who hang out at the lobby bar. I have hooked up 2 out of 3 nights there! They look like regular "plain-janes" but trust me. Behind closed doors they are little tigers.

Try the scene at bar rouge its been a while I was there but it has a super sexy view overlooking the bund, there are two parts to it one is a closed nightclub and the other is an outdoor bar kind of scene have seen some hot Latinos and gorgeous Russians there also.

Also try the club near the Mint just opposite side you walk a small part and there it is: I forgot the name but it is a 3 tiered place, nice relaxed mostly for local Chinese but it has some beautiful girls for pick up plus the lazy atmosphere.

Hello: I will be going to Shanghai for an exhibition from the 7th of April until the 11 of April. Looking for suggestions as to where to stay and possibly a good KTV to go to. I am an older white guy and enjoy the KTV atmosphere. Not much for the sauna or BBS but my consider if all else fails. Price is not a real problem as this is a business trip, but want to keep it within reason.

I have been reading the forum quite a bit and see suggestions for going outside certain "ring roads". Area suggestion are welcome but I will only have evenings to play. Thanks for any help in advance!

If you're solo, you may be better off with saunas or something in your room (pick up or outcall). Saunas and pick ups are fairly well reviewed here, do some searching. Probably your best bet for outcall is SNG. Also easy to find with a quick search.

Thanks for your input. I've only done the sauna thing one time and was quite disappointed with the step 1, check watch, step 2, check watch, step 3, check watch, approach. But maybe it is time to try again.

I have not delved into the KTV scene. I do not think KTV is cost effective and I do not want to listen to drunk guys singing off key. But I had seen scores of really gorgeous hostesses going to work at high end KTVs like Passion (in Chinese: Heavenly Paradise on Earth) and the one near Beijing Road West close to the US Consulate. Spending an evening in those places will cost you. Getting into a sexual thing with the the girls from those high end places will be an expensive proposition, if they would even go for that. They are looking for some rich sugar daddies (and there are plenty of local RICH guys looking at them as mistresses) for long term arrangements. (Can you afford to buy them a car and a flat? You are talking millions in US Dollars) Maybe you can look at the KTV section in Shanghai Nightlife Guide. They had arranged KTV crawls in the past in places you can more easily score, without blowing a big hole in your wallet..

Heading to Shanghai for a weekend (Mar 18-20). I lived there back in 2010 but would imagine the scene has changed quite a bit since that time. Not interested in the KTV scene but more so the saunas. I will be staying near Zhong Shan Park so looking at some recommendations close by. Focusing on good looking girls and moderately priced options. I used to hit up the Holiday Inn Shanghai Vista up on Changshou Road and sometimes the random barber / massage shops on Anyuan Road (may be another road up there, it was a while ago)- not sure if that is still a good area for playtime.

I will probably hit up Manhattan at some point. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up. Thanks in advance for any suggestions / recommendations.

North south is right but if you are on Shanghai nightlife guide. Check out the escort girls. They have specials for 1000 rmb for an hour or 1300 for two hours. The girls are well reviewed.

If nothing there suites your fancy go to Judy's and do a viet pick up.

I just got a text from my friend Lili. (see my old posts) She is s viet I had fun with. She is in SH now. Unfortunately I am in the USA.

I have digits if you are interested. There are better than Lili. She just struck my fancy and was pretty GFE for me. YMMV however.

Actually, any evening around dinner time is best. If you're referring to the girl watching the clock, or being so mechanical it feels timed. I've yet to experience that (I use saunas extensively). For sure, some are a bit more mechanical than I'd like, but have yet to find a clock watcher. And I really enjoy the nuru service.

Hi all,

Just wanted to share a recent experience with you. Been living in SH for about 5 years now and every so often I like to check out the saunas. I had a really good experience with M30 a few months ago at Tang Dynasty but the curiosity to try new places has kept me looking. Truth is, it's probably not worth my time. I made treks to Hongkou twice, got the be&S both times which took me back to Tang Dynasty (even though it's on the other side of town). I prefer quality with facilities and girls (I like mine taller than 168) so I'm paying for it.

Anyways after a disappointing run to another lesser known sauna I ventured to Minhang (south of the airport) this past weekend. Contacted my guy, he told me that they had 70+ so I made my way over. Bit of a mess trying to get to the establishment as I went to the front door but was ushered to the side of the building to head up the elevator. Got to the lobby met my guy and was taken to the changing rooms. Made my way into their labyrinth and saw 40+, many of the models were 8's and 9's. Pricing ranges from 900 to about 1580 for the top girls. Koreans and foreigners will probably run you closer to 2 k. It always takes my breath away and I starred for about 5 min before I made the tough decision of choosing T26.

What a stunner, this girl had a slinky silver dress covering an athletic body with see cups and wore the classy Louboutin style heels (not into the clear stripper heels). We made our way to the room, got undressed and set up the nuru bed. Very attentive during the whole process, included a back massage with her butt and finished the wet portion with a nice BBBJ. We got dried and we moved onto the bed where she gave me a quick cat bath. Flipped me over back to some BBBJ, capped me and had a very intimate session.

Following release she went out to grab some hot towels to put on my sensitive areas and we laid talking about our lives. Fingering her again, she got wet and proceeded to another BBBJ but I just didn't have the strength as I was pretty spent.

Quick shower, got dressed and we headed out together back to the main level.

I'm not sure if I've been lucky, but I've had solid providers. Why change when you can get something so consistent that meets expectations?

Cheers,

Taz.I admit I do go to KTV's alone, at least in the area I am familiar with, Shandong province. It is not too expensive when you get into the 2nd and 3rd tier cities. At least that's my limited view. I can spend 900 to 1200 RMB for the room and include one to three bottles of Badiu (probably spelled wrong) mixers and snacks, as I don't drink beer. Include one or even two girls to sit (I am probably not as picky as some others) at 200 to 300 each with rates 2/6/9 up to 4/8/1400 and my total outlay will run about 2000 to 2400 RMB, including one LT girl.

However, I do prefer to go with a group of three or more, it cuts cost and can be more fun. But I have had some fairly wild evenings alone in a KTV with a couple girls!

Around People's Square and Nanjing Lu you will have many touts coming up to you offering all kinds of things. Rule number 1 of mongering is: DO NOT go with touts. Even if they look hot or offer super deals. Their goal is to take you to someplace where they will relive you of all your money and give you nothing in return. Never follow touts!

I looked at the SNG indy section. I found it somewhat strange that most of them don't accept Asians.I think this is a a misunderstanding. The girls often refuse Chinese customer, not Asians. And for that there mostly the security point is the reason.

There has been a case last December where an agency in Min Hang district got busted after a client (who for sure was an undercover cop) called.

The police after the girl offered "extra service". And if the customer is no Chinese, he also could not be an undercover cop, so more safe for the girl.

Nevertheless,

Have fun.

I was in Shanghai on business and have always had a great time in Asia. Girls are usually fun and finding local freebies is sometimes easy and sometimes not. So sometimes I revert to pros / MP / Backpage or CL.

This night I was feeling like going for a stroll and seeing what I could find. I went to the ATM got 2000 RMB and went for a walk. One block down the street I am met by 2 pretty girls, in there 30's. They ask if I want a massage or a girl. So I said yes. And we start talking. I mentioned that I wanted 2 girls but only wanted to spend 500 RMB. When they agreed I should have known I was in trouble!

Now, its really late 2 am and I am now thinking with my lower head! They said that I had to go with them and I could pick out the girls. FUCK, I have been doing this long ass time, andI knew that this was a bad idea! So I told them no, and started to walk away. Then the prettier of the 2 catch up with me and tell me "hey, this is all good, we just can't have girls out here on the street, just come and pick 2 girls and then we will pay your taxi back to the hotel". FUCK. I fell for it. I got in the taxi!

We drove for about 25 minutes and now I am thinking, fuck I need to get out of here. But we finally get to the establishment. And it looks like a normal KTV. I see other guys walking in and walking out. So I go in with only one of the girls.

As soon as I walk in a 2 customers with 2 girls are walking out. One of the guys looks at me, laughs and says "good luck buddy". Again, I am thining "I need to go". But know I am being led up stairs and into a small room.

The girl I met on the street tells me "OK, this is how this works, a girl is going to come in and get you warmed up, then you can pick from all of our girls and we will take you back to the hotel".

In walks a youngish 20 year old girl. Says Hi, and starts taking my clothes off. And starts trying to force me to get in her and stuff. I keep fighting it saying "listen I just want to leave" but the door is locked!

All of a sudden 2 guys walk in, saying that I owe them A LOT of money! The girl leaves and I am told to empty my pockets! I take the 2000 RMB out and say "this is all that I have".

The boss says "don't fucking lie to me!" and now the big guy is patting me down. He finds my wallet and takes all my cards out, asking what the limits are. I told him that they are all low and he is better off taking the 2000.

This is where it starts to get fucking really bad. He is typing up numbers on his calculator and comes to a figure of 195,000! He looks at me and says you owe me $195,000 US! I start laughing (not a good idea). I tell him I don't have that fucking kind of money!

Now I had 2 ATM cards and 4 credit cards in my wallet. He didn't find my main ATM as it was in a sleeve and it just looked like receipts. And my main work credit card is an airline card and it looks more like a frequent fliers card than a credit card. So he didn't find those. What he did find was one ATM for a 2nd bacn account that I sue for "playing" with only 400 US left in it and 3 credit cards that have VERY low limits on them.

So after 2 hours of arguing and making me wait, with different big guys coming in to scare me. He finally comes in with a small guy with an credit card machine. Now when he was out of the room and one of the big guys was "watching " me. I made sure to take my main credit card that looks like the airline card and my main ATM that was in the sleeve and I put them in my inside jacket pocket. I acted like I was scared and throwing up into the garbage can. Now all that is left on the table are my small $ cards. So they picked one of the cards on the table, and and ran it for 1000 US. It got declined! He was PISSED he threw the machine started yelling at me. He tells me "give me the 2000!" Then tells me to get out of there and that I am lucky!!

I have NO idea where I am, I have NO money and I didn't have the name of my hotel with me. Long story short, I finally got a taxi to take me to A Hilton, from there I told them what happened and they helped me get back to my hotel!

It was a scary fucking night, but in all honesty it went much better than it could have!

Did I learn my lesson!? NO. I ended up getting a girl off of Backpage that morning when I got back! I had to relieve stress! A ffew days later I did get my freebie and had a lot more fun with her! But damn I need to be smarter!

10 years ago I was taken to a coffee shop above KFC on Nanjing Road. Pretty girl touching me. You get the picture. One beer comes. She gets coffee, then the fruit arrives. At the time to pay I say "I'll pay for my beer (50 rmb on the menu) She can buy what she ordered" Voices raise in volume. I get out of there for 100 rmb. Then the strangest thing happened. The elevator will not let me out on the ground floor. I exit in the basement, then out to Nanjing Road tourist street through the kitchen of KFC. The KFC workers in the kitchen were really startled to see my round eyes. First time it was at a tea house near People's Square. Second time the Art Student near the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Gullible is my middle name. I went back to the tea house the next day and caused a big enough stink to get back half of my money. I still have some of the "Art" from Beijing.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions / recommendations.Lots of sauna in Hongqiao area, should be easy to access. Price tag goes around 1 K /90 min.

Can somebody start a thread strictly about rip offs in the city and how to avoid them? The rest of us want to move on to sharing the good places and providers.I think that's a good idea, but to sum it up: If anyone approaches you, it's a rip-off. (That includes taxi drivers, street touts, friendly students inviting you to tea.) There are some great escort, massage, sauna, free-lance, take-out options all highlighted in these pages.

Hello,

Will be in Shanghai first week of April (if anyone's up for a beer just PM me) and as it is some time since my last visit and as things change so fast, just would love some info.

Is 999 still running? I had nice times there but that was some time ago.

I was told sauna at Shanghai Hotel has closed down its services. Is that correct?

Recommended spots by now? Sacrosa and Tang Dynasty?

If anyone has some indy girl, or Judys / Manhattan FL to recommend please PM me with numbers. Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

Hello Shanghai,

I'm a regular to guagzhou / Hong Kong. However, this is my second visit only to Shanghai.

First visit was short and pretty hectic to take time out. Coming to the point. I love what Kama Club in Guangzhou offers. Russians, columbians, arab.

Is there a similar place in Shanghai? If so, then which hotel should I stay to be closest to action.

Much Thanks,

Sam.

My friend. Sorry to hear of yet another SCAM in the shittiest city of scams. Didn't you RTFF? I say that in a kidding way because that is the level of understanding I was met with back in August. Read Shanghai Shakedown. I am not really sure why but many of the elder (read way the fuck older) statesmen questioned me because after a similar encounter I wanted nothing but bad shit to rain down on Shanghai (and I still do BTW).

I must say it is pretty pitiful that this forum needs a dedicated section just for scams. That speaks VOLUMES! SCAMHAI is the most corrupt part of the world. SCAMMERS all around you.

I just left and wish I never had to go back. BEWARE!

We are offering an olive branch to the troll of Shanghai, who sadly, is being forced to be here against his will. He was criticized because of racist statements and beligerant attitude. We are offering him his own personal venue to vent and rant. Meanwhile, the rest of us, who actually choose to be here will continue to share our passion. Most people learn from their mistakes. The troll is stuck in the third grade, not moving on. This is China. Step aside. Move on.

Yes, they changed their name to JiuYuan and have taken down the logo.

But the last time I checked they are still running at the same spot.

Yes. It's gone for quite awhile.

I would recommend Bodi or SiYuan.

Staying at a 3* hotel near Shanghai Stadium in Xuhui. Probably not the greatest idea in the world (in room WiFi is horrible and limited to 1 device at a time). But I booked early and got a seemingly good deal. It seems rather iffy on girl-friendly (although I haven't tried). There's a surprising number of Caucasians (male, female, and couples) staying here.

Scouted around and it's within 10 minute walking distance to three MP's, one them being Spring Massage. Tried that one out, got a young 20's girl, curvy, and playfully talkative. Y398 includes full nudity and standard he finish. Later that day, I wandered to another one of the MP's (it has SPA written on it). Rooms are not as nice (smaller, but still clean). Girl was probably low 30's, OK body. Y288 includes a choice of HJ or BBBJCIM finish, but panties stay on. Girl also offered FS for Y300 extra. PM me for more info.

Takeout seems hard. The girls work from 11 am-2 am (although they'll be let go early if no business). Anyways, need to check out the Shaanxi places Beijing listed below.

Also, if anyone is going to Judy's this week, I'd be game.

I will going to Shanghai for the first time on the 8th of April. I will attend the Shanghai boat show. I have made reservations at the Shanghai Sunkist International Hotel in Pujiang Town. The hotel says they have a KTV in the hotel and I do enjoy KTV's. Does anyone have any information on this hotel? Or the surrounding area where I might be able have a bit of fun? It is possible that I may have one or two buddies with me, but don't know for sure.

Marilyn I assume you meant the one in pudong century ave?

It's been replaced with a budget hotel (full season? But SN still going strong, was there recently, girl was goodl looking and friendly, good service but not exceptional, return visit might help.

It's close to sacrosa, so if you can't find what you like, just walk down the block.

Cheers.

I stayed at the Bodi Boutique in May.

Pros: Sauna in the same building. The girl selection was good (25 girl fishbowl) when I was there in May. Just stay away from peak hours as 2 years ago I was given a selection of 6 girls in a hallway after 2 locals chose before me. . 550 RMB / night is a good price for a very large suite. If you don't mind walking a couple of KM, there are a lot of restaurants on the road that runs parallel to Longyuan.

Cons: It is difficult to get a taxi out of there so plan an extra 15 minutes while the doorman stands out there trying to flag one down.

Carage
03-15-16, 01:46
While Bodi is still next to the middle of nowhere, getting a taxi is now easier with the prevalence of taxi apps.

You can try to request the doorman to summon one for you if you don't have or don't know how to use the app already.

Uber is available in Shanghai too.

Otherwise, JinXiu Rd metro station is actually within walking distance (15 min).

It is on Line 7 and will take you to LongYang Rd or the mall at the end of the line, HuaMu Rd (Kerry Center).

There are many dining choices at both stations, ranging from cheap (20 RMB / person) to very expensive (2000 RMB / person).

Line 7 can also bring you across the river directly into the heart of PuXi. (Multiple stops in JingAn Temple & XuJiaHui region).

But if you are trying to get to the LuJiaZui Financial District, then your best bet is still a taxi.

Jb.Two hotels which are much nicer than Merrilyn and both right across the street (less than 100 M) are Purple Mountain and InterContinental. I would stay at those two places before Merrilyn.

Cross the street and you're at Siyuan, and down the block there's Sacrosa.

If you chose to stay in that area, I can recommend another sauna that's in Yangpu district, taxi ride should be around 20rmb. Better selection than these two places, PM for info and address.

However, if I will do anything dodgy like bringing someone back to my room, I'd prefer to stay away from other conference goers who may figure out what I am up to. Haha.

But more than that, Kerry is pretty expensive especially if there are big fairs going on.

I'm actually thinking Jing'An Temple area. Same line 7 as the Metro Stop near SNIEC. Anybody know any Saunas or night spots near that area? I've done some research but have absolutely no idea what's in what area.

The 5 star entry for hotels in the JingAn Temple area is Hilton. It is within walking distance to Line 7 subway, but more importantly, to Judy and Manhattan. A basic room will cost you around 900+ rmb a night (pretax) if you book through Ctrip. A cheaper hotel will be Equatorial around the corner, about 6 to 700 rmb (pretax) . An even cheaper one is Shanghai Hotel, where the famous Shanghai Hotel Sauna used to be (but the sauna is closed). A room there is around 500 rmb (pretax, 4 stars still). All three are closed to the pick up bars mentioned. And there are a few MP in that area. (HJ and BJ) For saunas, if Kang Ding reopens, it will be close enough, but Sacrosa and SiYuan are 6 ot 7 subway stops away on Line 2. Red House is about 20 rmb taxi ride away if there is no traffic jam.

My regular place near South Shaanxi and Xinhui has been closed for a few days now. I also noticed another place down the street hasn't reopened since CNY.

Is it windy anywhere else, or is LE clearing house in this part of Jing'An?

I'll be leaving SH soon. I just wanted to say that #76 at Spring off of Maoming is the best I've encountered in China. Nothing extra, but her technique is amazing. She's a serious wrangler.

Regarding VPN's: Pretty much every $100 home router built in the last 3 years has VPN capabilities (using OpenVPN). If you know what you're doing, it takes about 10 min to setup. I think it's much safer than a paid service because, what's CGov going to do? Block out American ISP's and essentially crippling their own Internet in the process?

Anyways, back to my day.

Stopped by Shaanxi 851 in the early afternoon. Unfortunately, they appeared closed (chain link on the door). Did some scouting around the area. The foot massages next door looked legit (you could see rows of people getting foot massages). There are some barber shops down the street, but they looked legit as well (one of them was iffy, but I didn't feel like trying my luck as I don't need a haircut). Went to Min and got a standard he. There was a curious looking spa (with 2 pink uniformed girls standing outside) across the street from Min. Decided to check that out as well. It's fully legit; for Y100, they offer a full back massage. Girl is probably low-mid 20's, fully clothed but obviously good body. The place is also upscale and clean on the inside. Girl did give a nice back massage with a full exfoliation (if you have back acne, you should check it out). Hurts right after but now my back feels hella nice. If I lived here, I'd probably go to this place once a week for the exfoliate.

Later in the evening stopped by the "spa" massage place (not Spring Massage) near Asset Hotel. Picked a different girl this time. Got a youngish (mid-late 20's) spinner with A cups. Just arrived 3 days ago from the North. Ironically, she's friends with the previous girl I tried and got FS from. So no surprise that FS was offered from her (plus she hates CIM). I offered the same tip (300). She looked surprised, so I assume I could've gotten it for a bit less.

Sam.Try Paramount. About 1 block further away than the other hotels mentioned but the elevator bypasses the lobby and no ID check and no 'walk of disgrace'. It is about 40% cheaper than the Swissotel (which I have stayed in the past, it is very nice but expensive) - and if you get one of the upper level floors at Paramount it is very good.

I like Manhatten as you do get to inspect / interview the girls before. And they all speak English. Have been to a couple of Sauna's (Bodi) - very good but miss the conversation.

Gentleman,

It can be difficult as a foreigner but much more so for people of African decent sometimes in Asian countries. We speak 0 mandarin so we will be looking to do business through established channels.I would not have too many worries about the sauna clubs. Not many of them refuse black customers. I have been on nightlife tour with some black guys several times already and not any time we had a problem to enter the sauna clubs. But for sure we visit the clubs already used to foreign customers. I would not show up in a sauna that is not used to foreigners without Chinese skills, otherwise should not be a big deal. But don't forget to bring your own condom, if there is anything true about the rumors. Chinese saunas sometimes provide really small covers. I had the case already where a German guy (who was not oversize) on a tour came from the session and did not have sex, because the girl failed to put the condom on. Which was no issue for another black guy of the team, who was totally surprised that not everyone bring his own condom. From that day on I also prepare that for the tour clients. Good tip from my point of view.

And I just checked my database. From more than 50 independent girls who filled out our survey including which kind of customers they not serve, we have only 9 who selected "black" (they also can refuse Indians, which is selected significant more often), so even there would be 20 or 30% of girls who would have a problem. Because of any reason, that means also that there are always 70 to 80% of the girls who will have totally no problem with you and your friend. And many of the girls who filled the form are former sauna girls, so it's nearly sure that the sauna not built up an restriction like that.

Over all, no need to worry from my point of view, and if you get some problems, feel free to contact me and we can make sure that you will show up in places where you guys will be welcome!

I do not know if that is that much of a negative. There are CCTV galore everywhere inside the hotel, so LE or any person who wanted to know, will see you having girls coming to your room anyway. To have the hotel at least get some information on the girl you hardly know, but allowed into your private confine alone, may actually have some safety benefits. (provided the ID is not fake and the hotel staff can recognize fake IDs when they see them).

You may find it "hit and miss" unfortunately. I can only speak about Bodi from experience. I have been there twice with my good friend who is African Canadian. We had no problem and neither of us speak the language. I have been to Bodi several times with mixed results in the line up. 30 girls to sometimes only 8. I cannot say whether or not some girls opted out of the line up due to his presence or not. According to him all was good and he was treated well by whoever he picked. He has been back a few times on his own too.

For sure you will have no problem pulling viets from Manhattan or Judy's.

Good luck and welcome to Shanghai. Thanks so much. We will have such a short time there we definitely are trying to focus on likely hits. We won't have time to waste. Where is Bodi? Do you have an address?

Lots of stupid stereotypes in China. You might encounter some sauna girls who will not go with you due to size considerations. Whites also get that sometimes. But why not give it a shot? Like another poster said, Judys and Mandhattan would be a pretty sure thing.Thanks. I have heard that Whites and blacks can be left alone due to size concerns.

I would not have too many worries about the sauna clubs.

Over all, no need to worry from my point of view, and if you get some problems, feel free to contact me and we can make sure that you will show up in places where you guys will be welcome!Excellent. Thanks.

Definitely walkable, a little over 1 km.Definitely walkable as Arizona says. Typically will take a cab back home if I am with a girl though. Tough walk in the high heels. Make sure you negotiate the trip. The cabs outside Judy's & Manhattan will not turn on the meter. And will try to rip you off. No more than 20 RMB. I have had some try to charge 100 RMB.

I guess that gets them off the hook.

I had a Chinese massage girl girlfriend for a year and she would visit me on every trip to China. The Hilton was strict about registering at that time. After we registered her as my guess a couple times, she could sign her self in without me. (I stayed there often and am still a known customer by many of the hotel employees).

This was handy when she came over when she got out of work at 2 am. She could then come in the room and wake me up other ways (haha). I eventually gave her her own key but that was after quite a while.

{S N I P}Hmmm! "It takes about 10 minutes to set up". To connect to what? Your Playstation, or indirectly to a porn site on the other side of the Great Firewall of China?

I am sorry, but your information is totally incorrect. I respectfully suggest that you look up VPN on Wikipedia.

China has at critical times (terrorism alerts, CCP conferences, assassination attempts on Xi Jinping etc) blocked the IP addresses of servers of some of the commercial VPN providers, but those companies were able to quickly switch to other servers. Business, of course, use their own dedicated VPN service in their networks.

BTW, China is able to break into PPTP and L2 TP quite easily, and if they identify the IP addresses of a connection in which they are interested, then they are able to read the transmitted messages in seconds (not quite real time).

I recommend that mongers who are concerned with security use the VPN's SSTP (Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol) which, I admit is a bit slower because of the additional encryption used. And, of course, if you are really anal about security then you can use the Tor onion.

I am back in Shanghai. This is my first unsupervised trip. On previous visits I have always been chaperoned by my wife, making mongering all but impossible. I did scout a few places on previous visits but was not overly impressed and did not see anything of great interest to my darker side. Nor do I find most of the reports on this forum very helpful. At any rate I have a few days to kill before I go to Nanjing on business. Report to follow next week.

My first two nights I spent at the Shanghai hotel. Sadly, it was not the most monger-friendly place. The hotel spa is closed but they have a MP where I met Linda. Very pretty young lady. The captain assured me that the oil massage included a happy ending but whispered that the lady does not remove clothes even if she comes to your room. I did not partake even though she was quite beautiful. 400 RMB for a hand job is a bit steep, I think. The captain also shared that lady does not do BJ.

That same evening, my first—I had just arrived after a grueling 14 hour plane trip—I went looking for a Family Mart. I walked down Wulumqui Rd and turned left on to Changlee Rd. And low and behold: a hole in the wall type MP. Lady lured me inside for 100 RMB massage. She grabbed my dick and said 200 and I get hand job. So I relented and followed her to a small cabin. She had me lie down on table and immediately unbuttoned my pants, grabbed my dick and started pumping like there is no tomorrow. Meanwhile she unbuttoned her blouse and let me grope her be sized firm tits and my hand encountered no resistance as I traveled up her leg. No panties. She raised up her skirt and let me fondle her hairy pussy. Boy did that ever look yummy. I beckoned for her to take me in her mouth but she declined. At that point I was not even hard but shot my load. Felt bloody good after long plane trip, but I would have liked to continue for a bit longer. Before that though we were joined by her colleague, who offered two lady special. More of the same, I take it. But I was content with just one lady. Both ladies were doable, I should add.

The next day I went to Spring Massage (2nd floor, Yanke Plaza, no 17, south Shuicheng Rd). Thanks to mongers for the helpful tip and address. One of the most frustrating thing in Shanghai is to get a taxi to take me where I want to go. No one understand anything I say in English. Even though I have the address they just don't know what I am talking about. Get your taxi captain at your hotel to write out directions in Chinese characters. I eventually made my way to this plaza where there are a number of MPS, including a Bamboo Massage (doubt it is anything like the one in Bangkok, though) and a spa with a giant sign reading just "SPA. " According to another report it is a good place.

So there I am. I pick no 58, a pretty 30-something lady with a nice figure. Not a whole lot of choice. 60 minutes for 400 RMB with happy ending and BJ guaranteed. 60 minutes. She takes me to a small room with a massage table where I shower alone. She returns and starts to the usual back rub. Gradually, she starts to pay attention to junior and stroked me between my ass cheeks. Finally, she flips me over and rubs me all over for a while Then she leaves and returned after about 5 minutes with some hot towels and stuff. This when things get interesting. She undresses down to her flowery little fluffy panties and starts to rub me. Put some kind of hot rubbery thing in her mouth and starts to blow me. Feels good. But she clearly wants me to shoot because she keeps pumping. I ask for BJ and she puts a condom on and quickly and expertly blows me to a CIM. Wish it were uncovered. It is good. She keeps sucking until I am totally spent. She leaves me to shower and that is it. I wanted to tip her but she said just pick her next time. I paid at the front desk and left but I may go back. One of the mongers says he got a CIM uncovered from one for the ladies. Which one? This one was nice enough but there was minimum of groping and I barely got my hand inside her panties but did manage to sneak a good peak at a nice full Bush.

Today I changed hotel and returned to my old place, The Bund Hotel off Guandong RD. Nice hotel and cheaper than the Shanghai. 1000 for two nights on hotels.com and the mattresses are soft! One monger complained about the Shanghai in this respect and he was right.

I took a stroll down east Nanjing Rd and encountered some interesting scams. A girl selling fake Louis Vuitton offered to be my guide and seemed honest and not bad looking either. My wife and I have gone with similar girls selling fake name brands before so she is legit in that sense. She said maybe we can be friends. Wonder what that means. Might see her tomorrow. But then I run in to these two girls with a guide. I take their picture and they started. Claimed to be tourist guides from Shenzen on a first trip to Shanghai. Wanted to take me to "tea house" to experience tea ceremony and speak English! What a crock. No thank you. Watch out guys. They speak excellent English and are overly friendly. I have heard that they overcharge you and have a muscle backup to extort whatever you have.

My hotel—the Bund Hotel—has a MP but prices very high and no guarantee for full service. The female clerk in charge was rather dismissive of any kind of happy ending and finally said, "up to lady. " Not a good sign. Other than that this is a very good hotel, centrally located about a 20 minute walk from the Bund and around the corner from the Westin, inexpensive and a super breakfast, I usually don't even pay, just mingle and eat. LOL.

In my neighborhood around the Bund Hotel there are a bunch of MP, off Hankou Rd. Standard price of 400 RMB for oil massage with HJ probably. But girls are reluctant to discuss services included and pretend not to understand the word "happy ending. " Most girls are old pros, though, and probably deep throat a dick or two or three every day. But nothing for an old timer like me who likes them young and fresh off the farm. Therefore I strongly recommend Chengcheng Massage at 557 Hankou Rd. No 2 is a cutie pie. 26 years old but looks 18. We talked and negotiated a good price for a "very happy massage" including FS. I pushed her down to 500 (from 800-900) and she promised to join me in my room. I can almost taste her sweet little pussy. Wonder if she shaves, hope not. Most of the girls I have encountered in other parts of China are unshaven. We'll see if no 2 shows up later tonight or not. I wonder. Otherwise I will go back there tomorrow for sure. She was tall and slender with A-sized tits and a svelte body. Very shy but seemed to agree on BJ and FS. I would definitely like to go with her but was not in the mood tonight and don't like the massage table encounter for a full experience, if you know what I mean. I could have taken her to hotel right then and there, she said, but I am resting tonight. I think she fancies me though. Good chemistry. Hope she wasn't turned off when I left. She asked for my room number, which I gave her. L feel kind of shagged out today already, but at age 70 my juices are running dry. No Viagra to be had in pharmacies. Too bad. I miss Bangkok.

I am curious to try one of the expensive MPs but kind decide which one. And finding them may be a problem. Will go to Bodi Hotel or Purple Mountain Hotel tomorrow. I have heard there are some good MPs in the area. But they are in Pudong, far from here.

So, thus far I am kind of disappointed. Where are all the barbershops. I keep hearing about? The CP is having some kind of congress so a lot of the action has dried up. Maybe in two weeks when I return her.

Other that not much to report. The Chinese food I have had so far kind of sucks. I get better Chinese food in the Midwest for crying out loud. What I really don't like is the poor quality of the meat. Chicken is mostly skin and bones, very little white meat. Also prices for everything are ridiculous. And Chinese men still like to spit in the street all the time despite a government campaign and taxi drivers don't like to give change back. Always carry enough small bills with you. If your fare is 25 and you give them 40 it's like they expect the rest is a tip. But taxi is cheap enough, about the only thing that is cheap in Shanghai. Moreover, so many of the young males are so impolite. Bought some apples today in a store and the guy says. Nothing. "Thank you," I repeat and just get a blank stare. BUT I received some help from a cute student when I was buying my metro ticket. Young people tend to be so much more polite and even speak some English.

I will check in again and hope that my fellow mongers will file more informative reports in the future with actionable and above all more precise information about location and prices for services rendered. That goes for the Shanghai Nightlife Guide as well. I don't mean to sound ungrateful but info is good but could be more precise.

Next day I encountered another "tea house" scam, this time around the Westin. Same routine. Sweet talk and a picture and an offer to experience real tea culture. That and a huge bill and being roughed up by a few Chinese dudes. LOL. This guy was visiting Scamhai with his "sister. " I wanted to say "how much for your sister?" but refrained. No need to get into trouble.

Later in the day I went back and talked to no. 2 and sad to say, she is not willing to engage in FS at any price. She take off for 800 and offer "handy job" (cute) but nothing more, so I did not partake. 500 is too much for what I can only assume is a frantic HJ to make me come as fast as possible is way too much. For 800 she would remove clothes but who knows what that means. "No touch. " Well, I am sorry I led you on. I led myself on too if that is any consolation. By she sure is pretty to look at and maybe some of you guys will have more luck than I did. BUT I checked many area MPs (in and around and no one was willing to preform even a BJ, much less anything else.

Someone slipped a VIP MP ad under my door while I was watching TV in my room. Didn't notice. Maybe a friend of the youngish housekeeper who stopped by to fix my remote. But no personal visit or anything. Probably prohibitively expensive. I was rather looking forward to receiving the proverbial night time phone call: "Massaggee?' No such luck. I have heard that this is still quite common but maybe not in Shanghai.

On to the soapies, I guess, but $100+ is a bit steep. Maybe I'll wait until I get back to Bangkok and treat myself to a few willing lasses.

To anyone out there, please share any info you have on soapies in Shanghai: name, location, price and services rendered. I am much indebted to you for any actionable intel.

My first two nights I spent at the Shanghai hotel. Sadly, it was not the most monger-friendly place...Invest a few bucks here so you can send and receive private messages. Most of the regulars here are more than willing to help out. For as much as we spend at these establishments, I really don't understand why someone wouldn't pay the $30 for a full membership on ISG.

Seems like you're into into the MP scene. There's the Buddha place, Shaanxi Lu, Changshoul Lu, Beijing Lu, etc that's just to name a few in the Jing'an district alone. These have been reviewed extensively here in the forum, maybe you just didn't look back far enough. There are good ones in Baoshan, Hongkou, Changning that I haven't seen mentioned here.

Barbershops. Haven't seen these reviewed for awhile. The ones that I'd tried are on Anyuan Lu, but these had long been shutdown. There's a stretch of them in Pudong but I'm not into the BBS scene so you'll have to search the forum for that.

Soapies. I'm assuming you're refering to saunas with FS. These range from low 600's to 3 K and are all over Shanghai except for Minhang district.

Viagra. Yes you can get them here WITHOUT prescription. You just need to know which pharmacy to go to.

Tout scams. You nailed it right on the head. There are literally hundreds of posts here about that, I don't need to elaborate.

Rude people. Welcome to China. I wouldn't suggest visiting the 2nd or 3rd tier cities if you find these behaviors in Shanghai unacceptable.

Bad food. Welcome to China. Hint, if you thought the Kongpao Chicken or Sweet and Sour Pork or Moogoo Gaipan back home were the best Chinese food you've tasted, try looking for them on the menu here in China where if I'm not mistaken is the birthplace for Chinese food. It might give you an idea how authentic the Chinese food you fell in love with is back home.

Get yourself PM capability here, we'll send you in the right direction. Great post though, thank you and please visit again soon.

Shanghai is a world class city. You can find well made food from any cuisine in the world. From reasonable price to high end. Also bbs to high end saunas that westerners will never see unless you are invited. Take Arizona's advice and cough up the $30. Much is shared by Pm. Chine can be crude and rude, especially the men. And for me Beijing is bad for crudeness and pushiness. Nothing personal, really. Some of this westerners can never get used to. Get over it and enjoy what is good here. Welcome to Shanghai! A great place for our hobby.

I am back in Shanghai. Roaming Viking- Great, detailed report, many thanks. Shanghai will never reach Bangkok's lofty heights, but it has its pleasures. You should certainly be able to get good cuisine (even Western) in Shanghai, so keep at it.

I'm a bit surprised about the taxis not giving change. Almost never happens to me, but whatever. You were quite savvy about the teahouse and other scams.

For a real beauty in Shanghai, I'm afraid you have to cough at 200-300 at a sauna. You'll get some pretty girls in the 50-100 range but not a 9-10.

Recently I went out for a small walk around town and was completely unprepared when I suddenly found myself in a hail storm. With sufficient official help we were brought to a temporary shelter where we were provided with basic care. Since my clothes were not very wet, I did not stay very long, but some others needed more attention. I will never forget the warmth and hospitality that I enjoyed that moment. May I kindly advise ALL travelers to pay attention to the daily weather forecast and act accordingly.

Because at most higher-end saunas the price starts at close to 900 RMB now, and two regular girls cost about 1500 RMB per session, that is $200+ range.

On second thought. It was your money and it would be entirely up to you to decide how to spend it. My post was not meant to say that I have the right or ability to entertain any opinion as to whether what you paid was worth it.

Hi all,

I am now in Nanjing but my keepers won't let me out of sight for long. However, the other night I had a few hours off and made my way to the Daxingong metro station and headed south, I think, on S. Taiping Rd, where I have heard there is some action. Sure enough, on Yanling Alley south I found a smallish kind of MP where the mamma san promised 30 minutes FS from her girls for 300 RMB. There was one pretty little thing in her skimpy little fuck-me negligee who looked promising. But then I remembered how I had heard that some of these places offered a very rushed service. After only 10 minutes or so they say the time is up. So I did not partake. Besides they probably are not that clean. The place was not exactly very posh. Other than that I saw nothing. I walked around for a good two hours but saw nothing of interest. Earlier in the day I had visited the Confucius Temple and on one of the road leading to it I saw an MP with skimpily clad WGs. But they claimed they only did massage only and were positively horrified when I suggested a happy massage, gesturing to hands and mouth. I am not having much luck but maybe tomorrow when I once again had an evening to myself. Then it is back to Shanghai and I have promised myself that I will try my luck with no 2. Wish me good well, fellows.

That stinks. It was my favorite haunt. Were both the "sisters" still working there?......

I was thinking about planning a personal trip back to Shanghai in the fall. The way things are going there will be no reason left to go there......except of course Judy's/Manhattans and SNG

Stay safe Steven, we need you now more than ever.

SamDo not warry, There are many new one come out. Get a qq account and you will receive many info. I am going there next month and will try a couple if I have time and opportunity.

I'm a bit confused about the last part, I assume you are talking about 200-300 US dollars.

Because at most higher-end saunas the price starts at close to 900 RMB now, and two regular girls cost about 1500 RMB per session, that is $200+ range.Yeah, I meant dollars. It's true you can get girls at a lower price (US $150, or 900 yuan) at the saunas. They're the lower-end sauna girls, often very pretty and doable, but not the higher end, which seems to start at 1200 yuan.

My in house spy says 1808 Beijing Road spa is closed.New leadership in Jing'an district causing many raids.

Last week I visited a Spring Msg in this area which had all the curtains on the room doors removed, all the shower taps in the rooms also removed and you had to shower in a dedicated room outside along the corridor.

Ladies were wearing jeans / fully covering cloths rather than the usual outfit.

I don't go to Jing'an too much so it does not affect me much but Shanghai between Jing'an and Minhang is definatly under high pressure.

Big thank you to all the members.

My experience of 3 nights in shanghai was rather average.

1st night. Went to red house sauna, the place is dingy. More scary to get in. Then the collection of girls was below average. Sex was mechanical but passable.

Girl: 6/10.

Effort: 7/10.

Place: 4/10.

Damages: 1000 yuan.

Will not repeat. Should have probably chosen a better sauna.

2nd night. Went to manhattan. The place is half the size of Kama (Guangzhou). It was packed. Mostly viets. Girls were average. Mostly 5 to 6. Occassional 7/8. No out right stunners. Came back to swissotel with a pretty viet. Tall. Great ass. SEx was good as well. 1000 yuan.

3rd Night. Went to Judys. The girls were below average 4/5 rating only. Didn't find any pretty ones. There were some from thailand. Looked more like ladyboys. Some africans. Viets. Wasnt worth spending 1000 yuan so came back empty.

Following my post about a visit to the weatherman some seniors pm me for details. Given the operational experience I was privy to and the extensive check-in procedures, I would like to make a few additional remarks for all members of this travel site:

1. Despite the general upbeat travel reports in the forum, the chance of being caught in a hail storm is very real!!

2. A hail storm comes unexpected and with massive rain force. Ad-hoc rain protection is not possible. One has to rely on the many weather station staff who will look after all your needs.

3. When out on the street during the storm, all pedestrians are on their own and no one knows what will happen next. The Shanghai weather is way more extreme than what most foreigners are used to in their home countries.

4. As advised by Lonely Planet, always stay calm and polite when in unfamiliar situations, incorporate "when in Rome, do as the Romans do. ".

5. Given the large size of Shanghai, there is a centralized and specialized weather bureau which supersedes district bureaus and has ample specialized meteorological staff and large meeting rooms for receiving their guests.

6. In order to keep track of their many visitors, detailed personal registration takes place so that future visits are facilitated.

7. Great care is taken to segment visitors according to their specific status, some are awarded extended VIP treatment.

8. No effort is spared to make visitors feel safe and comfortable, padded floor to ceiling rooms and high res TV.

9. To ensure that you do not get hurt or lost during the transit from the storm area to the weather bureau, special rain hoods and wristbands are provided for free.

10. While the bureau is located in a non-luxurious establishment, the weather forecasting hardware is second to none.

11. While many vistors are perhaps very VIP in their daily lives, a visit to the weather bureau leaves them much impressed. They are even impressed by the most junior staff who completely capture their attention.

Hope this helps to improve your stay in Shanghai.

No offense to anyone, but this talking in code seems to be one of the silliest characteristics of this thread.

In the highly unlikely event Chinese LE cares to monitor this site (unlikely given the tiny percentage of foreign mongers at each destination), they would be just as likely to crack a code. The use of "windy" as a quick euphemism has devolved into a full-blown language. This causes somewhat ineffective communication and sometimes casts doubt on the authenticity of the communicator.

But I also agree what started out as somewhat amusing has turned into downright silly and is now getting to the point of being more annoying than helpful.

I am back in Shanghai after a few uneventful days in Nanjing and decided to splurge and go to a real MP. I selected Grand Elite, aka as Sacrosa (according to their business card and other posts).

I had some initial difficulty finding the place despite good intell on this board and the Shanghai Nightlife Board. I took the subway to Dongchang station (line 2). Exit 4. Down Century Rd to Shangcheng Rd. But do NOT cross this street. Instead, turn right and head down Shangcheng about 200—300 meters until you see a lot of neon signs. This the plaza. You will see a Harvest Festival on your left. THEN you will come across the famed Burger King well behind and well hidden from Shangcheng Rd. Now I could smell pussy in the air and knew I was close to my target. I entered the building called the Hua Cheng Building / Tower, a modest high rise that is home to the Whopper on the street level and exited on the 5th floor. 1085 Pudou Rd South. Phone number is 021-XXXX2261. No name on the establishment but this clearly was a sauna. The air inside was very warm. At the reception I inquired about prices. 600 RMB for 70 minutes with "everything very happy. " I knew I had come to the right place. But then I was puzzled by all the young effeminate bathroom boys and for a moment thought I had come to some kind of gay bathhouse. They were all over the place, providing me with towels and slippers. But they reassured me "lady, lady. ".

I was escorted to a common dressing area, where I left my clothes in a locker, showered and, wearing a silly little outfit (shorts and a matching top), was taken to small waiting room. I waited here for about 15 minutes before I was escorted to a viewing area. It was five o'clock in the afternoon and clearly very busy, but I did not like to wait for that long. Next I was taken to a viewing area and selected no 288, clearly the best-looking lady in the establishment. The other four ladies were doable, with one almost as nice, but they looked away at the critical moment and did not seem to have the right sparkle in the eye. My lady did and was visibly flattered when I immediately selected her. She took me by the arm and paraded me down to a small room with a quite large bed in it. She left me for about 10 minutes or so to change into in a sexy outfit. Now is when the fun started (and the clock, I should add).

After some small talk in broken English she began to undress me and then disrobed completely, revealing a stunning body. For the next ten minutes or so we made out like crazy, it was a true free for all. She was stunner, absolutely gorgeous. Fully rounded B+ cups, a nice Bush, and long legs that were as firm as her tiny ass. I settled in for a prolonged DATY, which she enjoyed immeasurably. I spread her her long pale lips with my thumb and index finger and went to town, feasting on her delectable pussy. Her pussy tasted like honey and within just minutes she was sopping wet. I think I made her come more than just a little bit. My fingers penetrated her fully and I could tell that she was ready. But was I? I then straddled her and she gave me a nice BBBJ with her tongue whirling around the tip of my tool until I was semi-erect. At my age I sometimes struggle with maintaining an erection. She capped me and I managed to begin a mish-style fuck with her legs wrapped around me. Boy did it ever feel good. But then I had to [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134). Nothing like having to [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) in the middle of a fuck. Age or nerves maybe or the cold weather. Or was I just mesmerized and intimidated by her beauty. I have to say, in all my years of mongering I have seldom seen such a perfect specimen of the gentle sex. At any rate, I did not recover my powers and after another half-hearted attempt at penetrating her I settled in for a massage and CIM finish. She took the first gulp like a champ, I should add, but spit in the waste pin next to the bed while I continued to shoot every which way all over the poor thing. Then we just lay there cuddling for the next 15 minutes or so. It was really nice down time. Finally, she gave me a light massage and we talked. She was curious about my Listerine mouth wash, which I always take with me, thinking it is a good shield. She tried it and agreed. Better than the stuff she had. I helped her find it on her I-Phone and then we parted. I will definitely be back. Hopefully I will be in better shape next time to fully enjoy her treasures and show her what I am capable of.

Sorry guys, I would love to spill more beans from my recent encounter with the weatherman (spend some 8 hrs enjoying their hospitality) but given my 'celebrity' status now I have to be careful since I am not a passing tourist. Lets just conclude here that my main purpose was to show the other side of things when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. What I saw / experienced made quite an impression on me (subjective, I know) and I have to continue my life here. But what most surprised me was the well organized nature of the weather bureau, their intel and ability to dedicate large resources to their efforts (around 60 FTE were helping out at the storm site that day). The speed of weather change from happiness to despair and chaos among the pedestrians when lightning struck will be in my memory forever. Also some were physically 'cared' for, grown up man were crying.

Now, you can all put this aside as minor mishap etc, but it is like a traffic accident you read about in the paper, what is the chance it will happen to you? But just think for a moment about your course of action. Also, since I can not remember reading in this forum an eye witness account of a heavy rain storm, I thought it useful to share my personal travel experiences. However, if some members find the language / info to generic, so be it!

Now back to the main news.

Just a quick review of Sacrosa. I had been since the "fish bowl" area was remodeled. It's a nice touch to have the girls on a little stage.

Chose 380. Great gal from Haierbin. She's a tall (in heels) spinner. Nice and slim. That's how I like them. (Other girls on the line up also doable). Once we got to the room, she asked if I wanted the service or zuo ai. I did not really answer as I am not a huge fan of cat baths. She started at my chest, and worked her way to a BBBJ. After a bit of DATY (she has just the right amount of fluff), about 40 minutes of every which way. Finished off with CIM. She was very GFE, lots of DFK. Would repeat.

Looks: 7.

Service: 8.

Attitude: 9.

Not a hint of weather. Everything was in full operation.

Sorry my contributions have dropped off. I'll try to get back at it.

No offense to anyone, but this talking in code seems to be one of the silliest characteristics of this thread. You are 100% right and thanks for your hint. Like most others here I also often forget, that this threat will also have a lot of people they are not into the "local code" and we all make it much more hard for them to get a idea about the Shanghai Scene. I remember how long I need to get clear what "LE" stand for. Confused me several times till I first time found it in a context where the meaning got clear by that.

But honestly most of this "codes" are not placed to confuse the "LE", the reason is simply that each group will develop their own "code" for communication very fast, and even people not do it on purpose, they will take over the "coding" to show their "membership" and to get the touch of an "insider". Easy psychology process in every group to develop some own communication way. For all the guys who don't believe it, I recommend to check out the Singapore forum about the Shanghai Sex Scene. You will find out, that you will have no idea about at least 10 words on the first forum page already (and don't think a dictionary would clear it.

And about the "LE (=police) is reading, so there is a need to hide clear details. I honestly not believe, that they need our threat here to get any information. Who was here in Shanghai the time the East Asia Conference was happened two years ago will know, that they not need any "basic" information like it will be shared here.

During the conference time all sauna clubs, "naughty massage shops" and so on had to close. And they have been closed! And even I used the time to find out, which massage shop has "extra service", because there have been places which 5 shops in a line, 4 have been closed, one keep open (so for sure this one has no happy ending).

And the key point is, that the police closed even the small shops directly, if they not closed their shop in time. There have been situations, where the police simply came over and blocked the entry door of some "naughty" shops. So since that time no one can tell me, that the police not know exactly what happen in which shop, down to the smallest happy ending massage salon! So there is no need for them to "research" in our forum, I am sure! And if they like to do web research, than there are still several Chinese forum pages about Shanghai Sex Scene which provide much more locations, details and they are even in Chinese, so more easy to handle.

From that view I would say we not really need to worry what kind of information we share here.

But for make it more easy for new visitors here, I would recommend that we all should read our post before the upload with the "view" of a "Greenhorn"! Than clarify the points which would follow up to confusion and we will avoid a lot of "stupid questions" and safe a lot of time for our new visitors here! For example it does not need a lot of effort to write "Sacrosa Sauna" instead of "Sacrosa" or "Manhattan Club" instead of "Manhattan", but I am sure it would be very helpful for "first timer" to Shanghai.

I often think about that, when I read the answer "RTFF" (Read the fucking forum). For someone who is into the topic already that would be an easy solution, but for someone who has no idea, it's nearly impossible to get what he is looking for in an acceptable time.

If I research for a new city page, I often start with a "general overview research" in a forum. And in average I need around 8 (hours to get an overview how the sex scene work there. At least for the case that I don't have any idea how the "sex business" work in that country. But think for yourself. You want to find out where you can pick up a girl and you want the related details (location, price, selection, how it works and so on). If you try to solve this task by "RTFF", you will get totally lost I would guess. For example one post talk about his pickup in Manhattan, but he will not clear that this is a bar for only to pick up Vietnamese girls, another post will discuss about the rates of Viet girls, but not mention that this is the "pickup rate" in Manhattan and so on. I would guess you need to go back hundreds of posts to find the details you need to go there.

And we should also not forget, that all countries are different. For example in Shanghai you not go to a girls bar for pickup, while this is normal in Thailand. You will not find any strip club or Gogo bar here, how should someone who come first time to Shanghai know, that here he need to go to a KTV to pick up a girl?

I often chat with visitors on our page, who have no idea, that a sauna offer sex service! And when I think back, it was new to me too. I remember I refused several times when my supplier first time wanted to invite me to a sauna. I saw us sitting naked in the sauna, sweat together with a lot of old Chinese guys and not really get attracted by that. And I really was surprised, how the local TV station could have so many studio branches. For several days I thought a KTV is a TV studio till I found too many of them and asked my assistant for that. Just because in Germany we call places for sex FKK club or brothel since prostitution is legalized, so I never had even the idea a KTV, spa or sauna would provide sex. But without a background like that a forum research can be a really hard stuff for someone who come first time to China!

So I think if all of us try to post a little bit more "Greenhorn-orientated", we could help our newcomer a lot.

Just my point of view.

Codes are just shorthand. It is much easier to write 'windy', rather writing about police raids, checks, scheduled closures, crackdowns and yandas. The codes are not intended to 'fool' the Police (and actually I think the acronym 'LE' is so well known that when used in context, the meaning is very clear.

Orh Kui Tao. But totally no need to use dozens of slang names and acronyms which even confuse experienced members.

Singaporeans use whole bunch or acronyms that are often derived from the Hokkien language. For example OKT (Orh Kui Tao), which means pimp or tout.

I always get a laugh when I am conversing about video surveillance and CCTV. The Chinese inevitably think I am referring to the state run TV stations.

Let's stick to plain English where possible, but if you are copying a sauna service acronym or euphemism, it would be helpful to also write the English Meaning.

My in house spy confirms that BJ Road spa was closed by LE and that her place nearby was visited. She suggests that a morning visit for favorable weather. Possible low clouds and windy in the late evening. I was outside Monday night as a man and woman removed large plastic bags and those big zip up garment bags migrants use. Has anybody gone to the the owner's spa in the alley at Wanhangdu / Wuning road?

Based on the great post in the Suzhou blog, I have explored around in Shanghai a bit for this, and have had a little luck- found one. This is in Minhang, not too far from the Jiaoda main campus, called Lianming (32852;26126;33310;21381. This is on Lianming Lu. Not so easy to find, but its there- can look up in google maps. Entrance is on a side of a building- need to look for this. Can watch people coming in and out- and will find it. Entrance fee is 20 RMB, and no questions were asked. Can then go up and check coat, etc. Buy tickets at the counter for 20 RMB each- so give these to the girl, not cash.

I went there on a Friday evening, a bit too late (9 pm)- it closes at 10:30. Pretty busy. According to people I talked to, it's less busy Sun-Thursday, with a lot more girls compared to guys. People there were very friendly- best to speak Chinese. The staff asked how I like it, how I like the girls, etc. I also talked to some of the customers, who where certainly surprised to see a Westerner there. Got the usual stares- but these are normal stares, not glares. Some then even tried to hook me up with girls they know there (there seemed be many regular customers). One older man even showed me how to best grope a certain girl.

Some of the girls were nice, some not so nice. Few sauna level. Many were dressed rather racy. Talking to these girls, some are there every day, some occasionally. Some have been there a while, and some only a few days or weeks. I think there is a fair amount of turnover. I asked a couple of the girls, and they had never seen a westerner there before, though one had danced with a Japanese. Most will assume that you do not speak Chinese, until you do.

It was not hard to find dance partners. Same process as described in Suzhou board. After each dance I would go over and sit or stand in a different place, and check out the scene. No need to take every dance. As in Suzhou, it's one dark / slow dance, followed by light / fast. In the dance, as grabbing and other groping were the norm. The floor was dark, though maybe not as big as the Suzhou places. With some girls there was no talk, and some talking throughout. In a couple cases it got pretty passionate, and in others the girl just went through the motions. I danced with a couple 2-3 times, and built a decent rapport. Let's see if they are there when I go back.

I think I could have gotten some phone numbers or wechat, though as this was the first time I left it- will do this next time. And I'm not sure I would push for any same day stuff until I know how the place works better.

Taking to the people there, they say there are a few other Wuting in Shanghai, but not many. There is one in Qingpu, which is smaller (and a bit far for me), and another in Pudong, which hopefully I'll be able to thresh out.

So something else to check out. My suggestion is that don't get there too late (opens in the afternoon), don't come in too big a group (may attract undo attention), make friends with the locals, and go with the flow. Good luck.

This has been my local as it's the closest. But boy does this place look like a slump working girl house.

Lately, there have been a constant supply of Russian / Ukrainian engineers. Me like. Price is reasonable at 1680 RMB. Probably the cheapest white engineers one could find.

I had a few awesome consultation with the Russian / Ukrainian engineers lately. But the standard of room is a *****. Despite having an army of Ayi cleaning the room, it was just messy.

Last night, I paid an extra 100 RMB for the VIP room which is a suite away from the crowd. Nice decor, but crappy hardware, the shower ran like weak [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134), we had to ask for towels and sheet, out of tissue (HELLO? Sauna 101? There's a TV but with nothing to show, the bed is slightly bigger but same vinyl bedding with a thousand people's semen on it.

A slump working girl house. But I like it, because it gives me what I want.

Problem with "windy / rainy weather" metaphor is it makes it nearly impossible for most of us to understand what a poster is getting at, especially since most deploying this "prose" are non-native English speakers. Don't want to disparage any poster, but given the proliferation of Internet trolls, imprecise language will make me question any poster's authenticity.

In his 1st post on the arrest, the poster said "I did not stay very long. " In the more recent post, he said he spent "some 8 hrs enjoying their hospitality. " Maybe absent the "rainy / windy" metaphor, I would understand him better.

Again, not to cast aspersions on a poor monger who was detained by the police. Nothing but sympathy from me for this gentleman. But it makes a helluva difference to us all whether it was a brief police encounter or whether criminal charges were filed, and why some mongers faced more severe consequences.
