I was in Shekou a trip postponed from December and found usual fun in SheKou near NanHai hotel girlie bars.

This is first report. Sorry if this isnt the regular format.
I went over to SZ on Thursday Aug. 13th. to meet with one of my supplier for a few hours so I figure I have to time have some extra fun. I took the MTR from HK to Lo Wu Station and then switched to the SZ metro and got off at Guo Mao Station. Get out exit B I think. I have not had any Traveler's Checks in over 20 years. I did not think they even issued them anymore.

If you don't want to pay a T/T fee (some banks do it for free if you maintain a certain balance in your acccount, you can just use a foreign ATM card in China and leave your money at home. Some China banks charge a fee for withdrawl if you do not have an account with them.

There is heaps of info on Shenzhen here but due to crackdowns people will not post the information. Which hotel are you staying in BaoAn (near the airport)one? two show on Google maps but both have the same address make sure you have the right address in Chinese for the taxi driver. If you do not need to be in Baoan for business and have gone by the map showing it in Louhu well HK actually change hotels . Good news is BaoAn has many interesting places too visit not too hard too find if thats were you need to be.

Hunting just look down side streets, Look for pink lights in shops or Spas Most have big blue neon signs with a palm tree, if they advertise a massage for 388 that may be what you need. 138 is the normal massage with a smile at the end that far out you would not have to give a tip to the girl. During my last trip to China. I encountered a local 5 star hotel called Sunshine hotel. The sauna was a non-FS sauna as told to my by the manager. The price though was expensive and normally reflects FS. Did the crackdowns also effect this fine establisment?

I believe the Sunshine is a 5 star in China hotel standards which equates to a better 4 star on International hotel standards. The location is just across the street from the Panglin. I reckon the rooms are better at the Panglin (used to be Hilton) but the FS sauna with room service makes the Sunshine convenient for lazy mongers with deep pockets. Like I say, one only needs to walk out the door of either hotel to find more action than he can handle.

What probably happened is that your mommy is not back from the New Year holiday and gave her phone to another person so she would not lose her regular customers. This had happen to me when my regular mommy was still home. She returned later and took back her phone from the other mommy.

I would just show up and see what girls the other guy have. I don't think they can arrest you for just showing up.

Technically, there are actually three Crowne Plazas in SZ; 深圳市, 福田 and 南山. Personally, for the price that they are charging . . . I would not stay in the one in Nanhu Road but that is the one that most people think of when you mentioned Crowne Plaza within the city zone of SZ. The one in Futian (oversea chinese town) is much nicer and it is right smack in the middle of Windows of the World. International hotel standard and like most international five star hotels . . . it is not girl friendly. The one in Nan Shan is considered the suburban area of SZ, I never been so I wouldn't know anything about it.

Went to this spa last month after searching thru fun161.com. I don't read chinese but am getting good at using babelfish & google translator.

Spa is on 3rd floor of chinese style hotel, it's supposed to be 24 hrs but at noon I could hear the hair dryers going & most of the girls were getting themselves pretty. Shown to hotel type room with big shower, tv, dvd & queen sized bed with an air conditioner that didn't seem to be working. Papasan brought in a girl for my approval & first one looked fine, so I said ok. She went to get her supplies & we showered together, which she have a very thorough cleaning. They have those funny "U" (or sideways "C") shaped chairs which gives her access to clean your balls & crack really well! (heard about these chairs in japan, but never see one until now). Back in SZ after many months absence I went back to Seibu to check up on the area. Having read up on that there was a crackdown in effect I didnt know what to expect so I had prepared some backup in the form of 2 addresses to nearby saunas with HJ service.

This is info going back at least a couple years back - but I used to hang around Shataujiao - a small town next to the Yintian container port and Daimeisha beach, and is a RMB 50 taxi ride headed East from Luohu. (there is also RMB 3 buses!)

A lot of Hong Kong guys keep their 2nd wives/mistresses in that area as there is a very convenient/un-busy border crossing right on their doorsteps - and a lot of these mistresses moonlight at the small KTV's around STJ. The ones close to the border used to be 1-3-5, (At the Shataujiao Hotel, and 4 or 5 around that area. There were also BBS's at 150@). There is also a higher class KTV at Wutongshan (2-5-8?), plus a friends tell me there are now one or 2 nicer ones that just opened up (they haven't been themselves - golfing buddies - who just saw them in passing).

OF COURSE I only show the good looking ones!! And it's all a matter of numbers - do enough gals and you're bound to end up with a few good ones!!

And as far as cost of living etc is concerned - actually STJ is NOT that expensive - even compared to CP. I used to rent a very nice 2 bedroom furnished apartment in the nicer(est) building at STJ for RMB 1,500-1,800/month and the restaurants there are NOT expensive at all. Reason being that STJ has always been a sleepy little town that caters a lot to the truck drivers who stop over between Hong Kong and the Yantian container port.....and the border there used to close at 19:30 (it's now 22:00 I think).

So you end up with a lot of these gals being kept by truck drivers/HongKong guys who needs fast and convenient access to them for as low as RMB3-5,000/month - and thus the gals' wanting to "moonlight' whilst their BF's are safely back in Hong Kong.

The area is also a transit point for guys going up to Dapeng (factories AND where a lot of the Chinese drug barons in Europe/Netherlands originate from), Nan O (fishing, seafood town), OCT East (golf courses and amusement area), Dameisha (beaches), Danshui/Weichow (a more rural version of CP - sort of) and the Daya Bay nuclear power plant - plus it's where traditionally a lot of smuggling activities between Hong Kong and China occur.

My suggestion on STJ is just one response to Jetsetter's wish to explore venues close to/in SZ. Most guys know about Luohu, Futian, Shekou, HaTsui, Sha Tsui etc but STJ has always been off the radar of mongers - especially foreign ones - and hardly gets a mention on ISG.

Had a 3 day layover in Hong Kong and decided to cross over the border to Shenzhen and see the action there. Checked some reports and thought the lotus hotel is a good address. Booked the 9th floor rooms. Quite nice for 415 rmb per night, no breakfast provided in the hotel. Anyway I did not come to eat there, haha.

1. Went to the massage in 3rd floor, nice decoration clean, you undress, take shower, if you want sauna, get your japanese pyjama and go to the common waiting room, where you can relax, watch the worldcup football games and get a nice footmassage (real good one!). But the football was quite exciting so I almost kicked the massage girl in her face after on goal of my team, hahaha, everyone was laughing.

Asked for the massage, which is 268 rmb and was led to one nice room, on the way there I saw many girls all dressed the same sexy way. ALL looked really good! I got one of these cuties as well and she did a real good massage, very relaxing, I almost fell asleep, after one hour front side and she slowly came closer to interesting areas, no sleep anymore now. Also you are not allowed to travel outside Shenzhen SEZ, I don't know where Dafen is but if outside you might get into bother when travelling back through the checkpoints as they often check PP.

Finally I could find something near shangrila. The mamasan whispered me something on the street and I told her I can't speak Mandarin. She just pulled me to a building two blocks away. I think you can get a Chinese visa in one day in HKG. It was very expensive when I checked earlier this year through a hotel TA. 400-500 usd. There may be somewhere less expensive.

US PP holders can not get the Shenzhen SEZ visa which you get at the SZ Lowu / Luoho visa office which is located upstairs after you have left Hong Kong prior to entering China. If you turn up there without a Visa and not on the OK list for a SEZ visa you are liable to get a fine.
Most western countries are ok except US. If you search a lot on the net you can probably find a list of countries that are not ok but not a definitive list on who is allowed, at least that is what I could find when I was trying a while back to see if I could take my Phil GF there. (Did not find out)

Fast Eddie 48I checked in a small hotel near the main train station in guangzhou, they asked for my pp. I told it was at the thai consulate, to renew my visa for Thailand. There was no problem. BTW you can get a visa at the border by CTS hut it takes hours and cost not 100 but 600 hkd$, that s the best solution if you stay more then 5 days. Overstay is 500 rmb a day un China.

The best bar in Nashan is the V Bar( in the Crowne Plaza Hotel). There are usually some fun loving girls in there on Friday and Saturday night.

I think you should able to get it if you have this before and have a company letter, the Chinese goverment make it difficult for everyone during the 2008 Bejing game but they raise the cost already, the last time I got one is back in 2002 is 95 USD back then.

From your hotel to the Crowne Plaza, the distance is about 2-3Km. You can walk but I would not in this heat and humidity.

Yesterday around noon I got my smartphone stolen by an organized group who were operating at HuaQianLu subway station. After exiting the station, there was a bottelneck, since the pavement was blocked by construction (or even by the robbers). Suddenly at that emtrance there were a few guys blocking the way, pushing each other around and another guy from behind picked my phone, even though a friend was directly behind me and we were very aware of the situation. I'd never thought something like this could happen to me, as I always keep a hand on the phone on my belt when in a congested area, but since they started pushing around I got distracted for the fraction of a second which was already enough.

Dam annoying thanks for the warning,You always need a back up of data on your phone in Shenzhen I had my back pack opened near the same area a few weeks ago, but felt the zip get pulled turned round and slowly chased the little punk for some fun. Keeping it on your belt in Shenzhen is a no no. You can tell Hong Kong people they have their backpacks on the front. Another tip wear your shirt out over your pockets.Also watch for the scam were people in need have to borrow your mobile they can run fast I lost mine that way.

1. When you leave the bank or ATM stop and just look around first before walking away. There are people waiting outside who will follow you and distract you and pick your pocket. It happened to my friend.
If some think someody is following you closely just stop and let them pass.
Once the theives notice your are aware of the surroundings they will vanish.
2. Sometimes when you are walking your phone rings. Generally you answer the phone and keep talking while you are walking.
Do not do that . This happened to me. A guy knowing I was distracted put tongs in my pant pocket and tried to lift the cash. I felt something and just turned around and caught the guy and hit him. I still had his tongs in my pocket. I took it out twisted it and threw at him. He ran away. I was going to hit him again when his supposedly co-conspirator said no-no.
Since nothing was stolen i did not chase.
3. Watch out for small kids who you think are just playing on the sidewalk. They intentionally bump you and pick your pocket. Walk away from them.
4. Do not carry wallet, passport or anything valuable. Just carry only enough local RMB you need.
5. I have heard some thieves carry knife so that they can slit your pocket area and get access to the money.
6. I have not heard of any girls who pick your pocket or steal from you.
I have had total stranger girls stay with me overnight and they never stole anything and they never went through my things looking either.
But still if the money is out there in the open they maybe tempted.

All these thieves exclusively target foreigners only.

Meihua st Hotel sauna 3rd floor (hotel name is Runguang)

May 14-19 2010. Stopped many times, never had a bad room or any bad luck there. Just had to wait for about 15 mins one time, then I told the manager I was in a hurry, so he just rushed some girls and I up to the next floor of the hotel. Service was great, all the girls I had were fine, nothing outrageous, but some good ass. I would say about 7-9. The first I had by far, she gave unbelievable blowjobs, I didn't get her name or anything, my fault. But damn, she blew me away. Thanks guys, for the SIM card info. Just got the regular card (no data) for 60 RMB. Got the card from Indus Kitchen an Indian/Pakistani themed restaurant opposite my hotel. He also gave me a special number prefix to use for cheaper international calls. The hotel had a free internet cable so did not need a data card.

Landing in HKG I took a shared limo to the Shenzhen hotel for 170 HKD. It was far better than taking the train.

Stayed at Century Plaza Hotel in Luohu. Nice 4/5 star hotel. They upgraded me to a room with a view and a king size bed for free. The hotel has a sauna and a massage center. Got a girl to come to my room for 150 RMB for massage. Looks about 7, attitude 7-8 and full service a 9+. The xtra cost me 200 RMB.

Opposite the hotel are 3 massage parlors for less. Foot massage for 58 RMB for 2 hrs which I considered a better bargain tha BKK. At the other massage parlor (forget their names) I was given a photo spread of about 30 ladies. The massage (after the shower and change to their robes) was quite good. However, the girl was reluctant for the xtras as their is a glass window on the door. Finally for 100 RMB she decided to give a HJ. Must say it was very good. She had the skills to die for.

When there is a window that is uncovered in the room, there is no full service. That is a hint and the rule. The girls can not cover it.

Thats the normal rule but have a look for a strip of Velcro or a convenient coat hanger. Also see if any are blocked of on the way to your room, but with the clampdown there is not much in massage parlors. Expect too see more girls move too BBS as the tips have dried up you don't come all the way from Hong Kong for a massage.

It is not safe to venture out at night in Shenzhen if you don't know the area well ,58 rmb for a foot massage in a nice place is the going rate at Lowu that cheaper than Bangkok got one last night for 250 bht one hr no shower ,snack and drink .

visited the sauna that was mentioned, and was exactly as weaver described it (thanks weaver). although only having been to a few saunas in shenzhen, i would rate this one as the best one in terms of facilities, service and price. unfortunately didn't get a chance to try the girl that was recommended (as she was busy), but was able to choose one from the computer.

the rooms are quite nice and clean, for people who want to stay over night. furthermore the 268 includes 3 additional (non-sexual) services of your choice (i.e. foot massage, facial, head massage, etc).

as with weaver, i don't think it is appropriate to post the name on the main board, but any seniors that want to it can send me pm.

It only offers HJ, which is the same as the other few saunas that I ever went to in Shenzhen. I just travel to SZ frequently, but don't live there, so not familiar at all. But if you go thru some pages of the thread, there are a couple of mentions of FS being offered at certain saunas.

By the way, can someone give me the cross streets for Seibu? I've walked all around the area that I suspected it to be in but didn't find it. I did a search, even on Googlemaps, but it seems as the info was wrong.

Also, I assume there are more than 1 seibu in Shenzhen, as I saw one at a Citic Plaza/Jusco, near KeXueGuan Station, which I believe isn't luohu.

Thanks for the quick response Black Jack. I know of several saunas that offer FS however I am always looking for new grounds. Also the appeal of picking a girl from the screen rather than one by one or several lineups sounds like a nice change of pace, lack of FS or BJ is a disappointment to me though

I've learned that using google maps with gps is not the best choice since all china maps are purposefully offset. Switch to satellite view and try to discern what street is what and go from there.

The pay site that Jackson uses is completely separate nothing to do with this site, and not even blocked. As with all on line transactions you could just deny it if anything "bad happened". In the past in my business before Eposs we had to keep all credit card numbers slips with signature for 6 months. Its no big deal compared to being in a sauna when raided in China, or catching the clap.

By the way, can someone give me the cross streets for Seibu? I've walked all around the area that I suspected it to be in but didn't find it. I did a search, even on Googlemaps, but it seems as the info was wrong.

Also, I assume there are more than 1 seibu in Shenzhen, as I saw one at a Citic Plaza/Jusco, near KeXueGuan Station, which I believe isn't luohu.

The problem is that the old Seibu that people reference is closed now. Cross streets are Jiabin Road and Dong men nan Lu. Take exit B guomao station Turn left when you get to Dong men nan lu. Action there is not that great these days.

No way man.. that place is sort of by itself. There's a little area with restaurants if you head left outside the hotel... but other than that, nothing around, especially any mongering activities.

I suppose if the hotel bar has something going on, you may get a freelancer, but you'll have to take a taxi to go anywhere...

Last week I was in SheKou again on route to Shanghai and I escaped my local agent for visits to happy street near Ferry Termnal.

All the bar-girl shops on Gong Ye First street are closed now and they will not reopen.

I'd say a good percentage have in-room safes.

But I did stay at a reputable hotel in Luohu (forgot the name) which was pretty ok but the safe was next to the reception area of the lobby. Kinda like in a bank where you are in a room and put your stuff in a metal box and then they take the box and lock it up. Then give you a key. Point is, you'd need the staff to open and get your box every time you want to get something out of the safe. Pain in the ass.
