I have spoken to many over the years. Almost all have come from rural areas where there is not a whole lot to do. The alternatives are also stark. I think the mongering scene has another 10-15 years in its present form. When the countryside has its GDP raised 4 times, the supply will dwindle and become more expensive. Also there will be plenty of takers from the excess of local males. In fact, there will be sex tour groups to Thailand, Philippines, Burma etc.

China's economy is growing at 10 % compound. Population control took hold when Mao began to loose his marbles. A combination of greater prosperity and fewer young will lead to the whole scene changing. I suspect the pricing will be the first to reflect this.

One of my first weeks in China I hooked up with a hot physics student and was later surprised to find out she had three sisters even though her parents weren't rich and she wasn't from the countryside. Having lived here for a few years now, I know now that many of the things I believed about China were either incorrect or gross generalizations.
I'm glad some parents here have multiple kids because as my physics hottie was the second sister, I would not have had the chance to do her behind her dormitory!

at the risk of boring you all about SheKou I was there again last week after a visit in December time. I love this place.
The bars in Gong Ye 1 Road and just behind are still in good business and the gals are just as pretty and willing as before but the asking price has gone up.
In the past they start at 300-600 for overnight but go down to 150-250 with some bargaining.
This time they were start at 1000 and playing hard to get, especially early evening. But at end of the bartime, as the closing time approached, they droped the price to more acceptable rates. Obviously they want one or two STs in an evening OR they want you to sit in the bar and buy lady rdinks. So I recommend take a nice dinner and a walk, then scout out your prey by visit severalbars, maybe buy one ortwo drinks and then take her out at closing time.
As usually the service was very good with the three different bargirls I took on three different nights (all mid-week) and there was plenty action. All did multiple positions, BBBJ etc. Two of the gals offered (or were persuade to offer) AR and all offered morning "wake-up call" with BBBJ. One of them was horney as hell and we took a pop at 5.00 am, then we sleeped a bit more and took another pop at 8.00.
I stayed in the HaiTou hotel again so I could save some money and also be in the action area.

This does not apply to special minority ethnicity in some places like Yunan, XingJiang etc. .

150-250 overnight?! Those are some very low rates, especially for A) Shenzhen and B) a foreigner-concentrated area such as Shekou. I shudder at the thought of what quality of gals are available at this price...do you have any pics from a typical Shekou gal at this price?
From my very limited Shekou experiences, I developed the image that Shekou was for past-their-prime SWs, and/or gals that couldn't make it in the more central areas of Shenzhen, and/or non-Chinese gals (I saw higher numbers of Philippina bar gals in Shekou than any other place in Mainland China).
Massage with FS for 100 RMB...now that's a deal I can't even get in many rural towns, let alone Shenzhen! If Shekou wasn't such a pain in the ass to get to from where I am, I'd try it out. But I do get a chance to go there from time to time to travel by boat to Zhuhai, so I'll make an effort to try it out and write a comparative report.
Seems like you're the sole king of Shekou PE! Keep those reports coming...

You must have extraordinary bargaining techniques...or else the girls are willing to go with you at closing time for so little so that they can sleep in a bed with clean sheets and have a shower, etc., in a decent bathroom for once...my steady girl in Shekou lives with two other older girls, and they all work in the same bar. If you're standing in Seaworld, with your back to the boat, you can make out the characters on the top of the building, at about 11 o'clock (directionally). Anyone have any report about this place?
No offence intended, but the girls I know in Shekou all consider the Hai Tiao to be barely distinguishable from a *****house, btw. How does it compare, comfortwise, with other places?

I have had 250 overnight in Tangxia. I picked her up at 1130 pm and it was a "local" BBS near Her Ping hotel. She was new and GFE. She stayed until 11 am the next day after breakfast. I gave her another 200 because she was such a good sport.

Haven't ventured North of the border from Hong Kong for a long while, so decided to check out the scene in SZ a little bit. I went to a place with a friend before and he gave me a number of a manager of a KTV in Sha Tsui, so I decided to go up by myself and a newbie monger for a change.
The plan was simple, go up through Luohu train from Hong Kong at about 4pm, and arrived at the border at 5pm. Not a lot of people there at the border, so everything was rather smooth. Called and got the location of the place, taxied there for abou 30 something RMB to get to Sha Tsui. Walked through the road and mamasen from both sides of the street approached us for some business, we kept our eyes straight as we had already booked a room. Got some covers at the store and then the manager came down to pick us up.
The place moved since the last time we came during June last year. Newly renovated room with a minimum charge for 388 and another 100 tip goes to the girl who pour you drink and select songs for you. Asked to get some girls, and in 5 minutes time, 4 mamasen with 20 girls came in. All young in their 20s and my newbie friend was already star struck. Girls are from 5 to 8 range I would say, and I picked one who looked like 18 and had good see. My friend's choice was a wilder one who had great legs.
We ordered 18 beers which just met the minimum charge and we only managed to finish 13 of them. Stored the rest under my name and we headed to the room for actions. Price for girls is 2-3-6. 200 for just singing with you, 300 for a shot, 600 for a night out. If you are paying 200 for someone to sing with you, you might as well pay that extra 100 for the shot. My hands were already all over her big see while we sang and drank, so I was freaking ready to blow the load.
Rooms upstairs are very crappy, like the ones for the BBS. 60 for the room and extra 5 for a cover if you needed one. Don't expect these girls to be skillful. Normally you don't get a BJ but a straight laid. Once you got these girls down for a couple of drinks, you could easily get away with some DATY, fingering and DFK.
Anyways, not much to describe for the shot. The total damage was 418 (some kinda tax I think) for the room, 100 for the girl who pour drinks (she is very nice to play with so I wouldn't mind paying), 300 for the shot. Splitted between two of us = 600 / head.
The rest of the trip was some decent massage in SZ. No shot there as we went to a normal massage place for real relaxation. The trip costed 1000 for each of us, but we got a full afternoon of fun and stress relief. My friend loved it for his first time Mongering and I am already planning for a repeat!

On the corner of Fuqiang Lu and Jintian Lu, there's a spa. It's called the Oriental Palm. It's not as nice as Queen, but it's a pretty good substitute.

The street in Shekou I was referring to in connection with toys, is Shangle Street. At the southern end of it, away from the BBS action, is an excellent legit massage place. The company name is MeDo, and with a clever redesign of some very tired SZ buildings they have turned it into something like a spa. Me and my sweetie and her roommate had 2 hours of massage, private room, TV, 3 masseuses, for 210 RMB total. Highly recommened for rejuvenation puposes.
Obviously I have no idea if the girls (not stunning) are available for extras, and rather tend to doubt it. There seem to be plenty of other places for this.
WARNING: I always change money at the Shekou ferry pier. This time, I did not get a pink receipt as usual, just a scrap of calculator paper. The money was 10 yuan short...fortunately I paid attention, and got the clerk to correct it. Don't know if this was a legit mistake, or... From now on, I will count every single note, you bet!

Raz:
First it was the Big O going to GZ, next it was ShaZui being shut down and now you off to ZH, is nothing sacred. Who will be left to recount the intense vacuum generated by the Famous #21? No one. I feel like the last of the species, kind of like the last tawny lion hunted out of existence.
By the way, tried ShaZui again at 5 PM on Thursday. It was quite dead, though I found a girl. Average looking but much preferred doggie. Twist my arm. Good time, but worth going back for??? Well, likely no. Gave her a 20 tip for being a good sport.

i like to think that i can bargain reasonably well. but there is more to it than that. guys who just storm in and wave dollar bills around spoil it for others and they get what they deserve: bad service and high prices.
my tactic is to pick the right time, pick the right gal and pick the right approach.
at closing time, the bargirls still want to earn some money. and they also might want a nice hotel - as you say, some of them live in pretty squalid condition.
pick a girl who looks interested -and interesting. maybe not always the most "stunning" but one that will appreciate being selected. i am (usually) nice to the girl. "you look after me and i'll look after you."
i have heard from some girls - in sz and also in other places in china and also in hk, singapore, thailand etc that guys sometimes refuse to pay the full amount agreed or even steal from their bag when they go to bathroom or even don't pay at all.
one girl told me that she went to a room with a customer in nanhai once and they had sex for a while and then he phoned his buddy. he came in and they forced her to have sex again with the other guy - raped her - and then they kicked her out with no money.
the hotel security were no help to her because they just took her outside and sent her away.
if you charm the gal a bit and amuse her you can get a much better deal. i have had "second-night free" in the past and one bargirl a couple ofyears ago became a freebie for a while.
of course the best way that you can get a good price is to talk to the girl in mandarin (or appropriate dialekt). if you speak only (poor) english you will not get best deal. most of girls in sk bars speak not much english and if you are french or spanish or russian with bad english, you will lost the bargain.
as for the haitao hotel - it is good quality 3star. they refurbish some of it recently and last two times i stayed in the new-refurbished floors. some poor guys stay still in the old rooms but the new rooms are good quality and goof value and very convenient for the bars. i think soon all floors will be refurbished.

You might be looking in the wrong part of SheKou, my friend!
Yes - ther are some old hags working the streets looking for easy prey among the lauwei who have had one too many beers as they walk back to their hotels, or who are not willing to look for the better quality in the bars because they are frightened to go in there.
But the bars are packed full of young cuties. I dont think I ever did see any Philipinas there, only mainland Chinese. Most of them are in the 5-7 range (my opinion).
Pictures? Yes. I have posted many MANY pictures of my conquists in SheKou here on the site. You can see them in the ShenZhen thread and in the Photo Gallery. There are probably 80-100 pictures of maybe 20 or 30 different gals since maybe four or five years ago until 2006. But on my last two visits I did not take pictures because I did not have any camera with me.
You can judge the quality for yourself. You don't like the quality? No problem. I liked the quality. :)

Things change so quickly, it's hard to say which bar might be really hopping next week. My gf in Shekou says the week nights are too slow, and the weekends are too hectic. So go during the week for more choices, imho. The rota in a bar can change from night to night, and some girls who are there just aren't available for take-out (<clears throat> to make a point....) A bar which looks empty and dead may come to life in 30 seconds after you walk in.
The mamasan usually has a list which she calls up if you want something that's not right on hand, but this list is usually in an order to ensure the girls get equal opportunities, thus you may not get quite what you're looking for ... the one time I tried this, the girl who showed up ("She's beautiful!", the mama assured me, "she looks like an Indian movie star!!") looked like the evil younger sister of Queen Nefertiti...I passed (politely, of course) and went on to the next bar and read my earlier posts for that reasonably happy story.

It's not that long. It's a little over an hour to the Humen Bridge from Zhuhai, and CP is about 30-40 minutes from Humen. 2 hours is plenty to get to CP from Zhuhai.
On the corner of Fuqiang Lu and Jintian Lu, there's a spa. It's called the Oriental Palm. It's not as nice as Queen, but it's a pretty good substitute.

i don't remember exactly what the rates were. the bill would typically come out to about 250+ with foot massage, body massage, and tips. at queen spa, the same would typically come out to around 400+. they have the typical services offered at most of the big spas in the city. foot massage, foot scraping, ear cleaning, head massage, etc., etc. they don't have as many specialized massages as queen spa, and they don't have the private rooms with the tvs where you can watch movies on the 3rd floor. the oriental palm is not as big as queen, i figure about quarter the size, but it's still pretty spacious.

So better late than never, I was in SZ for 3 weeks in November. Great thing I went when I did and Sha Tsui was still a happening place. My god I never seen anything like it in my life. It was like candyland. You might try another area such as Seibu in DongMen or behind the Oriental Regent hotel on Shennan Lu. Justco is a complete waste of time, there are may 8 girls back there now.

Not defending China; but I had lived in a few Third World countries in my life time; I think the part about "Cheating" is everywhere especially in the poorer countries. A nice couple of experiences to report and a hotel recommendation.
The hotel is Shanshui Trends 1098 YanHeNan Rd, LouHu. It is very close to the railway station and the shopping there is attractive for the watches, purses, ect.
It is newly opened and part of a small chain of hotels. I paid about 50$USD. It is also close to the Shangri La where I went to use the business center.
Walk out of the Shanshui and turn right. Proceed about 1. 5 blocks and you will see an Indian restaurant and bar. It is connected to a hotel lobby. In the back of the lobby is a BBS with a young mama and a handful of girls. I did not have any hassle and was quoted a fair 200RMB.
First girl was mechanical but competent. The second was extremely playful in a shy way and fun. Both ST and just what I was looking for at the time.

SM: Seibu is in DongMen across the street from the PangLin Hotel. Go to GuoMao subway and it is about a 5 minute walk. It is a rather small and old Seibu and not a real high profile one that taxi drivers will know well. Go to the area behind Seibu and you should be able to find the shops easily. The selection is quite ok, not as good as the old ShaZhui but not bad.

I was down in LuoHu and decided to visit the Pink Buildings. It was early afternoon and thus not optimal shopping time. I did a tour of the area and did not find anything outstanding, though I did not some of the soapy places open and was slightly considering one, but felt an urge for something a bit more. Well, I've just returned from my first trip to Shenzhen. I spent the two nights in Lowu; the first at the Golden Luohu Hotel and the second at the hotel next to the Shangri-la. I know these hotels well and have stayed in them many times. They are budget, but good value and well located.

That's a very good question.
Definately avoid ALL male street touts who approach you. Most of them are thugs. Many female street touts are also dangerous.
Spend a lot of time reading the forum and taking notes. If fellow members recommend certain locations and say it is ok to follow the mommies, then it probably is ok.
Keep ALL of your valubles and money locked in your hotel safe. Keep a photocopy of your passport and visa on you. I keep an extra atm card hidden in another location just in case something happens to the safe. No need to be paranoid, just being careful.
Send PMs to other members who you think might be in the towns you are visiting and then try to hook up with them. Yes, they are total strangers and not your usual friends, but you will find that 99% of them are very cool guys.
OAH and the boys including newly initiated Pleasure Dude went to Seibu BBS. Nice to meet with other mongers beyond the names here including old timers ike Tangxhen and Csun.

there are about 40 shops rep001tered and hidden down very dark and narrow alleys.
the golden luohu is on the southwest corner, just outside the village.

Over 100 " shops" have had ceilings electricals ripped out all and all the furniture thrashed and thrown on the outside pavement. At this very moment there are around 50 cleaners picking up all the smashed mirrors, ceiling tiles and wall coverings. The only activity is the cleaners instead of over 200 beautiful girls.
Those LE creeps must really have a bug up their asses to do this type of damage.

A little I am not surprised, because Seibu was not a good location for action. Too close to tourist hotels, too much local traffic, too visible. ShaZui was a far better location, as it was very out of the way with no tourists.

I passed thru at 9pm and there were girls working out of the shops while groups of Hon Kong Mongers were stepping over and the cleaners sweeping up the broken glass.

Haha, of course it was a joke to get some talk going on here. They always raid, during major holidays, when a VIP is coming to town, or during special events like the Canton Fair (read DG raids). They know where the xiaojies work and what goes on, they don't need us to tell them this.

I was in SZ Friday night and took the opportunity to do a bit more research on some points raised recently.
Firstly, I devoted a little time to the apartments directly behind the Shangri-La. In the hour or so that I was shown girls there in various apartments, by various mamas, I never saw any worth doing, nor of a suspect age. Perhaps the previous poster was just surprised by how youthful some Asian girls can look.
Another thing I find interesting is how the quality of an area changes so much and so frequently. Lots of cute girls, and, contrary to my previous visits, much better attitudes towards foreigners. I spent some time individually with 3 lovely girls @ 150 RMB each, and wondered the alleys with a big smile! Ahhh, SZ in the spring.
Next I caught a bicycle (5RMB) to the Seibu area, or as I have been informed, Xiang Xi Cun (is that correct?) to have a look firsthand at the reported carnage. That area too was alive and well, with the usual high quality in evidence. I spoke directly to a familiar mama there, and was told clearly that it was NOT a LE action, but rather a crackdown on illegal electrical wiring and lighting. Apparently many mamas don’t get the proper paperwork for all the pink and blue lights they install for our benefit! I walked around for a while, and found that many mamas were asking ridiculous prices for services. I was quoted 200RMB, and even 300RMB by one!
I refuse to overpay on principle, and to that end I now carry a very helpful jpg in my camera phone that I show to the mamas. Taken from the extremely helpful ‘Chinese Words & Phrases’ section, I have written ‘150元 做完付’ which (I hope) means, ‘150 yuan, I will pay after the service’. As I speak no Chinese, this little jpg cuts right to the chase, and helps keep the market stable. I have attached it if any others wish to adopt its use. The upload process has a 648x648 limit, so the readability may be affected.
I left the area without indulging, but there were many fine girls there.
To end off the night, I took a taxi out to Sha Tsui (about 45RMB). This visit could be compared to a recently ended relationship. You know, sometimes after it’s over, a guy has a few drinks and decides to call up his old girlfriend for a booty call. He goes over to see her, they have sex, but it’s a mistake. The passion is gone. All the great things he remembered about her have changed; it’s just not the same anymore. He goes away feeling empty and disappointed… that’s how it was going back to Sha Stui. I believe that the SZ government really wants to put a stop to the industry once and for all. They will use any excuses like licenses and such to harrass the operators.
Just this week, I visited the BBS in Futian by the Walmart around 5PM. Since Seibu has been raided by the police, I think the pink building area is another place that has great potential. On my last day in Shenzhen last week, I decided to venture toward the pink building to check out the soapy place. It was pretty easy to find right across from Bank of China on Renmin Road. But to my disappointment, I didn't see any girl I like at the 4th store in the first ally.
I decided to walk around the area to see if I can find something else. It has been written that 'mongering as we know it in Shenzhen is coming to an end' (OAH), while I tend to agree with this statement it does not mean that mongering will ever go away in Shenzhen. It will change locations/styles and we will change with it.
I have been told that the bar street in Shekou near the Nanhai hotel will be demolished in June/July and turned into an international school. A great way to clean up an area. Too bad this area was sometimes fun. I know that the girls in these bars will not just disappear but will find a new location, perhaps a new barstreet will form nearby.
In Nanshan, I frequent the small BBS strip near Nanshan SEGA and the McDonalds. I can get what I want, when I need it here for between 130 and 150. In the 5 or 6 shops, you can find maybe 40 to 50 girls (total). Not a romantic setting but still effective.
At night after say 9pm, there are streetwalkers in this area too. I have seen them after 1AM so the SW may be regular in this area. Try the street with the SEGA BBS and the street at the end of the road. Easily more than a dozen girls. I have been quoted 300 and accepted at 200. You can probably get LT for 300 if you try and have a place. Please don't offer too much or you will damage this new market.
I still visit Dachong and BaiShiZhou (BSZ) for BBS hunting grounds. You can find happiness and excitement in the small lanes. 130 to 150 for full service in house. Take away is possible too. In BSZ, there are at least 30 BBS spread throughout the small laneways. The hunt is part of the fun and it is interesting walking the small streets. Take care not to get lost.

"A while ago there was a posting for a small strip behind Nanshan Sega (lane between SEGA and McDonalds). THis is only 5 minutes walk from Nanshan Hospital. At the other end of the lane is the International School of Sino-Canada. I've driven past several time however tonight I made a paid stopover.
Observations:

I went thru Seibu yesterday during the afternoon about 3pm and the place was business as usual. The place is not finished at all. You are just going to have to be aware that due to LE presence, business hours are going to change so if you decide to stroll thru at 8pm after dinner the shops may be closed. If the shops are open get the gals name and number for later. A lot of the gals have to wait in the shag flats upstars during the times that the shops downstairs are closed.

Sure nanshan is mostly residential but that is possibly part of the attraction for me.
The streetwalkers in Nanshan are in front of the International School of Sino Canada. I haven't confirmed if the streetwalkers are teachers or staff at the school but it may be worth investigating, even if I am too old to go back to high school - some other mongers here might find it suitable. As far as I know there is no signage "drug and prostitute free zone" near any school in China, including this one (unlike many places in America).
I wish I could tell you the street names but I did not know. There are other areas in Nanshan too for mongering. A little west of the hospital and closer to Shennan Road is another crowded residential area with perhaps a dozen or more BBSs in the alleyways. You may be able to find a subWalmart branch near this area. (If you find the Shekou/nanyou walmart you are not in the correct place.)
Being a residential area is a good thing. Crowded village areas almost always have many BBS to service the locals. The Chinese locals also need their fix and this is what you will find in this locale. Enjoy the alleys but be on the safe side and leave your valuables at home/hotel. I never had any problem (in perhaps 50 times of visiting Bai Shi Zhou) but don't take chances.
For those of you new to Shenzhen and staying at the Crowne Plaza or Intercontinental, Bai Shi Zhou is your closest BBS fix and is a good alternative to Crowne Plaza's pathetic VBar.

If your meeting her at the Windows of the World, thats at the opposite end of the metro line from the train station. If your plans are to return back to the train station area for dinner, you can go to the Shangri-La Hotel which is a bit pricey, Sundays Restaurant which is a Hong Kong joint inside the HK departure building and there's a couple of places in the Luohu Commerical Center, such as the Greenery Cafe .....

Most all hotels are girl friendly if the girl is under escort by the guest. Some of the 5 star hotels may not allow guests in after 11 pm, even under escort. If your talking about girls coming to your hotel at night unattended or doing lineups in the hotel lobby, then you might want to stick with 3-4 star Chinese hotels and avoid the 5 stars and International places.

The Laurel Restaurant at the Century Plaza Hotel (just up the block from the Shangrila Hotel is very good. I took two senior staff to the restaurant about a year ago, we had some great food (foie gras appetizers) with a nice bottle of Italian wine to boot, the total bill came out to around 650RMB. They have a cheaper restaurant on the first floor of the hotel that serve both western and some chinese food. The food is just okay...

Went back to SZ with my wife for a shopping trip and stayed two nights at Queen Spa. Although it is billed as a "clean" joint that offers no special services, I did receive something of an HJ during one of my massages. Not near the train station, but the most obvious place for Western food in SZ in in Shekou, if you don't mind the long taxi ride. Trattoria da Angelo (in Prince Square) beats most HK restaurants for Italian food (the only wood-fired pizza oven in Southern China.) I mention this, because after long experience of dragging Chinese girls to Western restaurants, I find Italian food is the one Western cuisine they will eat without question.
There are a bunch of steakhouse places as well, lots of choices in general. There's Mustang Sally's, and an Argentinian-style steakhouse next to The Terrace Bar (can't recall it's name, it's two shops up from Starbucks) which has reportedly 'friendly' waitresses on the lookout for gweilo bfs -- and who look pretty cute in their cowgirl get-ups. Just got back from another one-nighter in SZ and learned the hard way that the hotel next to the Shangri-la is not girl-friendly. I'll get to that in a second. I started my afternoon looking for a legit massage and headed into one of the parlors in the pink apt complex. For $70, I had a great 2 hour massage by an older, unattractive but friendly woman. The girl also scammed you. That same situation has happened to me many times. First, this is difficult to do, but insist she turn off her mobile phone before you take her. This is the hotel located literally right next to the Shangri-la. If you're coming from the KCR, it's the building right after the Shangri-la. It has 2 lion statues up front and several touts trying to rent you a room.
First time, I stayed at the "hotel" on the 30th floor. They gave me a keycard which allowed me access to the lift. The hotel on the 12th floor did not; I had to ask the guard to beep me into the lift. I paid $150/night each time. Must be Xia/Shang Sha Cun then because I knew Sha Tsui and had been there numerous times, just never got it translated. I always refered to it as "Heavens' Gate". This area I speak of can be seen from Bing He Highway in Futian and yes, it was talked about in old posts but was wondering if anyone has been around there recently.

Posted a report on Xiang Sa a couple of weeks ago and the place was swarming with LE.
As far as MGM goes, it is in Xia Sa and if doing drugs with kids and shaking your head to loud music is your thing, this is the place to go. Ask your wingman what "Fing Tou" means. 2 weeks ago both the KTVs were closed down but may have opened again. There was little BBS action there and was more of a Sauna place with FS. I don't actually think you can get a legit massage there at all.

I stayed at the Hedong Hotel, I think it is right next to the Walter. Hedong had a BBS on the second floor, mainly a stable to send up to the hotel rooms. No real massage services. Not worth your time, IMHO, as the quality was pretty low. Pretty sure you can walk in off the street and try it. If the Walter works out, let us all know, I often stay in that area.
BTW, the BBS area going north, just off of Bao'an street was pretty good. I stopped by one day early April and it had about 7 shops with 5-10 girls each. We stopped by there briefly, if you recall, about a year ago. This is not too far from the stinky river. :)

Not a big difference mind you, but best to stick with ShaZui as the most correct.
I have been down there a few times post crackdown and the nature of the area and methods to get services has changed. Now you will not find the large number of girls out in the alleys waiting for your review, though you will still see a much higher ratio of girls in the area as compared to any 'normal' area. The way to get a girl is have a mommie go get you one. Find a nice mommie and take your time to let her know exactly what you want. Give her a good 20 minutes to go to wherever she needs to go and find you a selection (typically 3) and make your pick. It is far less preferable than the old system, but such is life. It is very close to the Fumin subway station which is currently the end of the shorter of the 2 available subway lines. When you get out of the subway, look for the Ren Ren Le department store. Find the MacDonald's on the corner. You will walk down that street, the one running between RRL and Mac, past a park on your right and then turn left. Go down that street for 1 block - you should pass the basketball courts on your right and another small park like area to your left. You will find Venice KTV on the left at the next intersection just next to the large fruit stands.
Hope that helps. There are actually shorter ways to get there, but don't want you to get lost.

If you are staying at the 4 Points Sheraton, you can go out the lobby door, turn left and walk down the block to the first intersection. It is a short walk. Turn left at that intersection. Then walk another very short block and at then turn right at the first street you see that you can turn right (not the one behind the gate but the one you can drive down). On your left about about 20 meters you will see a rather large Sauna Spa. Sorry don't remember the name but will get a card next time and post.
Upstairs you will find the sauna spa areas, rest area. The place is not opulent like many of the SZ Spas. I would rate it about a 6, clean but nothing fancy. You can get a happy ending for about Rmb200 on top of the about Rmb100 for the sauna spa massge. Quality is so so IMHO. About 5 /10. Just ask for the oil massage and that should get you lubed up!

if you just ask for the standard fare in the sauna/massage joints, you cannot get a massage. the girl will only pretend to massage you for a few minutes before offering you hj and fs options. in fact, most of these girls will get pissed off and cop a bad attitude if you refuse the extras and tell them you only want a massage.
on the other and, i found that most of the places do have girls that can do a legit massage, but absolutely no extra service is available, not even a happy ending. they call this the "doctor" massage or something like that. i forget the chinese name for it. you just need to ask for this when you arrive. the hourly rate is usually more expensive for real massage.
having said that, if real massage is what you want, i suggest you go to the medical clinics. many of them offer massage services by properly trained professionals. other traditional chinese medical treatments are also available such as the glass balls, back scraping, medicinal steam treatment, medicine ball, etc. and foot massages with all types of additives.

I stayed at the Yangfu hotel on fuhua lu. Behind is Fu an jie which is perpendicular to Fu xin jie. Immediately behind the hotel are several alleys with BBS. 150 take out to hotel. Also on Fu xin street, there were many other massage shops with girls wearing uniforms. The shops are not your usual BBS, its brightly lit and has many young girls waiting. This is a good alternative to Seibu.

Ferry from Sheung Wan to Shekou is 110HKD, or about the same as the airport express to HKIA. KCR to Lo Wu is 35HKD - on the KCR website, seems like there's a connector train which gets you close to Shenzen airport?
I suppose that in the end, if you don't care about time, is definitely a whole lot cheaper. There's also the benefit of flying into Hongqiao airport rather than Pudong, about 45min time savings if staying on the Puxi side.
Did a search on "airport" and most of the discussions were the reverse, getting to HKIA from Shenzhen.

The fact that it is written in Traditional Chinese make those people who speak both language (Cantonese and Mandarin) reads it in Cantonese. The whole of China uses Simplified Chinese except for HongKong and Macau. However when comes to Names of Companies and Places, most of the time they will write it in Traditional Chinese. Taiwan uses Traditional Chinese too!

If you are coming into Shenzhen and flying out via Shenzhen Airport, My advice is to use Huang Gang. It is the same if you are going to HKIA.
If you are going to Hong Kong or Kowloong. Than do the Lo Wu.
