Hey SZ,

Just curious:

Is dressing the only way to identify a Xiaojie from a legit girl?

While sitting at lobby bars in hotels looking at those girls walking in and out, I sometimes wonder who are the Pros and who are not. Example in CP, we know that most of them walking in are Pros but there are some that are legit, looking at them some of them just falls into the "grey areas" where we just could'nt tell. Besides; those KTV girls usually dress nicely.

For me I sometime use my nose and instinct to judge. If she uses strong perfume, it is likely that she is a pro.

I believe there was a discussion on this couple of weeks ago but the answers was not clear.

Good Question! Had she cleaned her shoes and/or changed to something a bit more conservative (i.e. she had on a cream color dress with dirty red high heel sandals) I am not saying this is what triggered the guards to stop her, but from my observations, it seemed it was the only thing out of place.

I used to work p/t as a store detective years ago, but I remember going through training and in my actual busts, normally the thieves acted or dressed in a parcuilar way.

Same goes for the WG's as well, usually there's just something about them that makes them stand out from the norm, be it make-up, clothing, shoes, hair, perfume or mannerisms.

Ace , when we all had our conversation about how to spot a WG . I think we all came up with 11 things to look for. #12 was your perfume remark. Very interesting. The smoking one got a little out of hand.

What did my ex GF (40 years old) that I know was an ex WG ask me to bring her from the states a year ago. Yeap , perfume. WG's have to stop working because of age or other reasons , but you just can't take those old habits from the WG.

IMHO Your comment confirms my quote about the HK to SZ Bao Ernai sex Express. SZ has the highest growth rate of non-SZ citizens compared to most provinces in China. I am sure many of these implants are VERY beautiful women from all over China mostly for the Bao Ernai sex express. What I am saying is SZ has a logical reason for all these good looking women. Money, sex and HK business men.

IMHO:

1) In every city or country there beauties. We cannot compare in terms of numbers because in there are a lot of girls in SZ because they are all there to earn a living. People rush to the bigger cities because there are more opportunities to sell their "products" ;) . A larger numbers of those girls in the bigger cities are from the poorer country side. In richer country where most cities are equally well off, the beauties are more distributed. And that may be one of the reasons why we term that there are less beauties out on the street. Moreover, in the richer cities or countries, there are lesser needs for the girls to be pros because they have better educated, and have better jobs.

2) Beauty in the eyes of the beholder = self explanatory.

3) In the more modern and bigger cities, girls tend to make up more. There will be a big difference between a village girl who does not make up as to one who does. However there are exceptions that those villager girls that are naturally beautiful. If you see one, grab her before she is gone.

I had seen some really beautiful girls back home working as Pros in those dance club downtown LA. They are a couple of blonds, red heads, etc... These made me draw to the above conclusions.

The bao er nai (or yee lai, in Cantonese) are just a continuation of the tradition which the Communists (and the British in Hong Kong) tried -- and failed -- to stamp out. I was watching a movie called, “Raising the Red Lantern”. It was about a guy having four wives in China around the early 1900’s. Each one of the wives were jealous of each other. The movie was banded in China for a while.

Now today in the Muslin world, it is legal to have more than one wife. For example, in Brunei, men are allowed four wives. The Sultan of Brunei, once the richest man in the world, has two wives. I once knew a Muslin guy who had a wife in USA and one in the South Africa. In the western world it’s illegal and you be in jail. Humm, I think I want to covert over to Muslin. As ManonsanBoy boy posted Sha Zui is recovering and now some shops are open with girls available. It is not what it once was, but it is about 50% recovered. You dont need to work with Mamasans to get the girls now, though that is available if you like. Don't discount a good mamasan as they can help a lot expedite the process.

I selected a girl from Hunan who was reported to have good service. As billed she did provide good service. She was not the best looking but nice enough. Standard fare of 150 with a 20 tip.

A few days later I went by Seibu and there were plenty of girls there also. Chose a Hubei girl with a nice smile and big breasts. The smile thing is important here as it shows what you are going to get. She was willing but one of those girls who gets too easily 'yang' so can only take very mild play with her D cups. Again it was 150 rmb plus a small tip.

If I wanted to get a girl I think Seibu has more girls and would be better, but Sha Zui for me is much closer and thus much more convenient for me as getting out of DongMen can be a bother. A couple of members PMd me regarding less expensive hotels in the Shekou district. I'm posting the information here as I can illustrate it with photos, and it may be useful for anyone else planning a visit. I've found there are lots of options if you don't want to fork out a lot of dosh for the Nan Hai or Haitao hotels, where I guess many westerners stay. They both cost a lot, but are the most convenient for the ferry and chicken street bars.
The Shui Wan Baoli hotel is in downtown Shekou, 5 minutes walk from Seaworld. It's quite small but in the heart of the action. I've been told that a single room costs 100rmb per night, but you can see the confusing tariff sheet for yourselves. They have a travel agent within the hotel, but the staff have very limited English.

On the opposite side of the road from the Shui Wan Baoli hotel is the larger Hua Yang Hotel (see the first picture). The pretty receptionists spoke English quite well, and quoted me 220rmb per night for a single room. This includes free internet and breakfast, and also free lunch if you stay 2 days or more.
Just round the corner is another choice the Day Day hotel. They quoted 150rmb per night for a single room.
I get the feeling that all these prices are highly negotiable.

Another choice if you're feeling brave is the so called Chiagra. Some kind of herbal concoction, it lists various ingredients such as ginseng, antler, cow penis etc, but seems to work. I suspect they are laced with viagra. Anyway, they are sold in bottles of 9 capsules. It costs 20rmb per bottle, and you should take 2 capsules a time.
Genuine Cialis is available, but I was quoted 400rmb for a box of 4 (20mg), but the same will set you back only 360HKD in Hong Kong.

They'll bring hookers into the rooms for you while you're drinking, and if you fancy the girl, they'll drive you to her place and back for a quickie (Total 200rmb). The LE are using young plainclothes cops that wait and follow mongers up to the apartments after they leave the shop with the gal. Smarter BBS operators will normally use a guy to take you up to the apartments separately. A WG told me she saw a Hong Kong monger being dragged out of a building by 3 plainclothes cops and it looked like he had been beaten up. He could have thought they were fake cops as this is a common scam to extort $$$ out of mongers cause their reaction is to be scared to being caught with their pants down and pay to get the hell of of there.

There are pros and cons to take-out. I was at Wal-Mart in Futian, Shenzhen. Stayed at the Vienna Hotel a 4 star hotel. It's a very nice hotel close to the BBS's by the Wal-Mart area. A single bed is 218RMB with a discount card. In the Wal-Mart BSS area, there are about 7-8 shops all lined up on one side of the street. I went to the LAST BBS on the road and took a girl for ST. The price was 150RMB. Both mamasan and the girl knew I have been shopping and walking around. Paid the mamasan 50RMB. Walked about 1 minute towards Vienna Hotel and she then said, “There’s a time limit of 40 minutes”. I was thinking about going back but we went ahead to the hotel. Went to the backdoor of the hotel. A guard sitting at a table tried to stop us but we just ignored him. I think there was a sign-in sheet since it was around 12:30am. After getting to the hotel room, we both took a shower. Afterwards, she then said, “It took 20 minutes to get there”. Now I know why she was taking her time, walking and showering. She was killing time. I then was expecting also bad service. She looked at the clock and said you have this amount of time left. I argued a little for more time but finally said OK. It was for 30 minutes. So we went ahead with the service. Sadly,the little guy wasn’t getting happy since the little guy believes she was stalling. Each time I wanted something, like for a BBJ we argued. About 10 minutes before the 30 minutes was up, she said it was time to leave. She said it takes 10 minutes to take a shower. Yes, I was upset and I never finished. Decided to go back to see her mommy and complain. I didn’t pay her yet. Went back to BBS and we timed it. It only took 6-7 minutes with her taking her time. I showed her my watch and she checked her phone. She then knew she was wrong and changed the subject. My complains to the mamasan were to no avail. I ended up paying the rest of the money of 100RMB because I did not want to cause any trouble.

My point is if you option for take-out, you MIGHT be change for the time getting to/from your place and be asked for a transportation fee. If there is a bite to eat before or after, don’t expect the time during the menu is considered with the ST price. Then you MIGHT have the mamasan calling, informing her it’s time to leave. You have time limit. Nevertheless, I do agree take-out is much safer and cleaner. Then you don’t know when was the last time the sheets were changed or the towels was washed at the BBS either.

I guess there are some pro's & con's to this, but there is also pro's & con's to going back to their place! As Bob said, plain clothed police beating your ass and dragging you out of the building. I would prefer just to be SOL and give up the 150, rather than take a Rodney King beating.

From my experience, I would rather have the girl on my turf, rather than on hers. Normally, the Seibu girls do takeout for an extra 50 rmb if you are staying/living close to the area.

Most ask for $200 to leave the village but you can normally get away with giving them $20 for the taxi ride back. Then there are some that won't do takeout at all.

my main concern is having a good high speed internet web connection.

All the saunas/massage joints I've been to (the number climbs weekly), you have to wear the little pajama things. If it is a FS massage, be rest assured they will not stay on too long once your securely in your room and/or done with the legit part of the massage.

Also, getting a good BJ to CIM is few and far between down here. If your lucky enough to even find one who will blow you longer than 5 minutes, your doing good.

I was there end of June. My original goal was to look for the soapy massage place that I used to frequent. To my surprise, the bbs along the alley was changed or remodeled to a point that I could not recognize which bbs was the soapy massage. There is one exception to this. There are shops in China that specialize in BJCIM. They will blow you for as long as it takes for you to CIM (though not swallow). Cost is 130 each time. I was taken to one in Shenzhen by a friend, but I have no idea how to get back there (it was on the second floor of a residential high-rise, and there was no sign or anything), and I got two girls to alternate BBJ on me while the other one sucked me above. It was sweet. When the time came she took it all in her mouth and then proceeded to hawk up a storm. I will try to get the location from my friend so that I can share it.

There are pros and cons to take-out. I was at Wal-Mart in Futian, Shenzhen. Stayed at the Vienna Hotel a 4 star hotel. It's a very nice hotel close to the BBS's by the Wal-Mart area. .

The old SW action in front of McD in Futian was not wasy to spot as SWs were not actively looking for johns. Passed by few times to make sure they were SWs. I just found that SWs are safer rather than MP's apartments.

Nearest subway stop to Seibu is probably Guo Mao station, which is the stop right before Luohu. Guo Mao station stops at the Kingglory Mall. It's about a 5 minute walk from there.

None of the 3 Sheratons has any action near by, at least not walking distance. The 4 Points is about 5-7 minute ride from both Shui Wei Cun or Sha Zui. The Black Sheraton is a bit further away. The Sheraton on the beach in Yantian is pretty far from any P4P places (almost an hour by car) except a couple of small KTVs around there.

EDIT: After thinking about it a bit, the Black Sheraton is not too far from the Exhibition Center. You can probably pick up a SW on the Caitian Lu side. Also, there might be some places in Shatoujiao near Yantian, but I haven't explored that area in recent times.

The Grand Holiday is near the Gang Xia station on the subway (go out the back and walk north towards KFC and Hoba). Seibu is near Guo Mao. It's 5 stops away, probably 15 minutes. If you don't want to go that far, you can just go to the Las Vegas KTV there. It's more expensive, but if you're just there for one night, you might not care.

2. Darker Skin

The best way around Chinese filters is to access the internet through a non chinese ISP. For example, I use cable, so what I do is go to the web site of my cable provider which also allows me to access my email via the web.

Don't sign in, but use the search function or the address function of the cable providers (or ISP's) home page to get where you want to go. The worst case scenario is that you may have to do it a few times to get where you are going.

I would say you pretty much hit all the spots. I would post some pics of what Chinese consider pretty, but I have a personal policy against posting pics of women on this site. Think of Vivian Hsu, I saw her on TV today. I think most Chinese would agree she's very pretty. Very light skin, round eyes, small pointy nose, small mouth. She is a little on the short side though. Guangdong people also have a slightly differing taste from most mainlanders. GD people tend to prefer their women a little more fuller than people from other provinces. I doubt what you're saying that girls won't be "kept" if they are not tall, or have white skin, huge in the chest area, or somewhat "meaty." Guys like girls in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I would say you pretty much hit all the spots. I would post some pics of what Chinese consider pretty, but I have a personal policy against posting pics of women on this site. Think of Vivian Hsu, I saw her on TV today. I think most Chinese would agree she's very pretty. Very light skin, round eyes, small pointy nose, small mouth. She is a little on the short side though. Guangdong people also have a slightly differing taste from most mainlanders. GD people tend to prefer their women a little more fuller than people from other provinces. Good taste bro. Northeast beauties with maybe Manuchurian blood - AKA Dongbei girls. They have north Korean and Japanese features. It's hard to find non-Han Chinese girls or Manchurian girls. I heard there are some tall Mongolian girls work all over Beijing even in Los Angeles according to my Japanese friends living in Torrance/Gardena.

As for color of room - forget it as they take you to an aparment which all appear same - tiles 5 story or so building. Normal price is 150 RMB and pay after you are done. I must disagree that most Chinese people consider Valen Hsu to be pretty. My Ch male friends are always ripping on her and laughing at her as being ugly. I think this reiterates the idea that not all ideas of beauty are the same especially for Ch guys.

What they don't like about her is that she looks like a rabbit. And her front teeth go in two different directions. The other strike against her is that she is way past her prime, which was a decade ago. Do you see guys going for "kept" girls that are ten years after their prime? I think you should come up with a better example to illustrate what you think is the true Chinese conception of "perfect beauty."

Take away the fact that she's a known singer, and she "appears to be just a very cute common girl."

Does she look short in the pictures? She was about 6' tall with heels and about 5' 9-10" without! Walking around in Shenzhen, very few girls reach 5' 9" (without shoes). Also, I think a lot of Ch guys do not like their girls to be taller than they are.

Hi All,

I finally have a weekend off work and was looking to head Shenzhen this weekend. It's been about a year and a half since I was at the infamous Sha Zui. I would have headed back sooner but the police crack down has just killed the place.

I saw in an earlier thread that Shazui is back at around 50% of it's prime. Could anyone advise on the present situation. Also, are there any new KTV's that have sprouted up since the majority were torn down 2 years ago.

If shazui is really still closed, I would probably head to the Pink rooms behind Seibu. Can anyone tell me what time is best to head on over to check out the action.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Waited in front of the Booze store at the entrance to the village on Saturday and saw a cute tiny hottie with great looking rack on display buying cigarettes in the shop with another average lokking gal, her real sister. Unsatisfied with the quality of Seibu BBS today, I jetted off to the "Pink Aparments. " I have to say it was a groovy decision. One thing I like about the Pink Apartments is that the action is not in the alleys hidden away from the everyday scene, the girls all hang around in various convenience stores. Maybe, these shops should be renamed "convenience store BBS. " (Can we start a new acronym guys? How about CSS to go with BBS for "convenience store shop? ") It's more integrated, which makes it seem more acceptable and legitimate. The girls and mommies seem much nicer and more accomodating than the Seibu area. Reject requests by mommies to take you up to rooms and show you girls. It's a waste of time to do it that way. Go straight to the CSSs.

I had trouble picking as the quality of the girls did not impress me. I spotted a cute one who avoided my gaze every time I looked. Well at last got to try the seibu scene.

Stayed at the Lotus Hotel across the road from the pangli. Cost 265Rmb for the night, an Ok hotel girl friendly but no room safe.

Did an early prowl of the BBs before lunch. The alleyways are quite intimidating first time up but once youve walked them you quickly realise they are pretty threat free.

There must be about 20 BBS shops with 2 to 8 girls in each average to quite stunning. I did take out and was quoted 200 which seems the right price acording to the forum, They did not try to rip me off as a first time gweillo.

Selection was good and girls all in good humour trying to sell each other off

My Girl was I thought stunning had a great body and a good size rack must have been about 20. She was a bit of a limp fish though and the only thing that got her really moving was a small vibrator I carry, other than that probably not worth a repeat.

Hedong and Friendship definitely are girl friendly.
There was a report about Greentree not too long ago, and the author wrote that it was. You might look up the report. The others I don't personally know. Although, as a general comment, most hotels are pretty open except for the 5 stars, and even they can be depending. Some hotels have a screener in the lobby elevator area after a certain hour. (Hedong is not THAT close to Dongmen pedestrian, also doesn't have an in-room safe).

Most hotels are girl friendly unlike say 10 year ago. It's different if they try to go to your room by themselves unless they know your name. Hotels often post a security guard with guest names/room numbers in front of elevator. This is a good thing as better than getting pimp phone calls late at night or girls knocking on your room or stack of business cards below door.

I've stayed at many GZ, DG and SZ hotels (Holiday Inn, Nanhai, Crowne Plaza and new Intercontinetal last few days) in last 10 years and never had a prob.

Enjoyed meeting many fellow mongers and especially old friend Moody and new friend AG and 3 more gents (not sure about their msg board names).

Two back to back nights of partying at CP (AKA Central Pussy?) left me worn out with take out girl action, 2 KTVs (forgot names) and early morning stop over at BBS. Moody and I ventured out to SZ KTV on the 3rd night and his date turned out to be awesome singer.

Wingman, I left SZ yesterday (Tues). In Taipei now and heading to Penang Thrs then back to boring US. I'm coming back to Taipei in Sept and hope to swing by SZ/DG on next trip.

New Intercontinental SUCKS in terms of hard to find and service but one of the nicest hotel I stayed in China (on par with Hyatt in SHAGhai). My KTV dates were impressed. I changed taxi FOUR times to get there from Shekou last Sat as no taxi driver understood Intercontinental. It's goes by totally different name in Chinese. Just get in a cab and dial the damn hotel and have hotel operator tell the driver where to go. As for service - it SUCKS. Bell boy and girl do not give out taxi info card, no coffee in my room on 2nd day and it took them 20 mins to bring coffee to my room as they did not understand "coffee pack". Hell they serve instant coffee too. Tried to nap on Sunday but damn construction noise kept me up. Be sure to aske them to put you on a room facing Shennan road and not rear of hotel. Front desk and other staff are clueless and it was about bad as back in 2000 when Holiday Inn first opened.

On positive side is that new border crossing in that new bridge near Nanshan opened. No more nightmare on Huanggang and seamless transfer within 1 building (leave PRC and enter HK).

Be sure to head out to infamous Seibu BBS action. Take the subway (right in front of Intercontinental) and get off at 1 station before Lowu. Hard to describe which alley to take. I had a good time when I met fellow mongers for mongering and dinner afterwards 3 months ago.

Chang Ping in DG rocks!

This was my second time in Shenzhen. The first time, last year, I had the good fortune of having a friend set me up with a GFE provider for two nights so I never had to look around. This time, I was on my own. Since I speak very, very little Mandarin, and I was staying at the Four Points Sheraton, a 5 star hotel, which is presumably girl UNfriendly (5 stars), I thought I was SOL. But the forum came to the rescue. I read a lot about Seibu but had no clue how to get there, no address. I found a post by someone who said the Panglin hotel was nearby so I figured I'd go out on a little expedition and see if I could find the BBS alleys somewhere. It took about 20 mins by cab from the Sheraton and when I got there, another 15-20 mins for me to figure out where the BBS alleys were (it's actually very close, I just had no clue where I was going so roamed around aimlessly for a while), but my persistence paid off.

The scene is not only alive and well, it was the best hotty per square meter situation I've ever seen, and I've been to Shanghai, HK, Thailand, Vietnam, Madrid, TJ, and more. (Haven't been to Brazil yet, but am planning a visit there soon... I love Brazilian chicks.) I would say that the range was 4-9, and I'm a pretty tough grader, the average being about a 6.5-7, but the good news was that I could find at least an 8 at one out of every 3 shops, and there had to have been about 25 or so shops open, most of them full of girls.

For those who aren't as familiar with Seibu, Seibu is the name of a big Japanese department store which is across the street and to the left (visible) from the Panglin Hotel, which can easily be found on Google (look for Panglin Hotel, Shenzhen). You have to walk behind the department store building structure where there are dozens of small shops, including some legitimate BBSes that only provide haircuts. When you get there, you have to walk in the narrow alleys and for a 3-4 alley block, you'll see dozens of "holes in the wall" with girls sitting there waiting for johns.

Based on the info on the forum, I stuck to a 150 price and never had any problem with it (I am Asian, so maybe white guys will have more of an issue...). The first night, I chose a 9-9.5 Schezuan petite girl who was absolutely adorable. Maybe my lack of Mandarin skills contributed, but I was unable to get her to do BBBJ. It was covered, then any position I wanted. The second night, I did take-out with a 7.5-8 (but awesome natural breasts) by pulling out my hotel card and pointing to it then making a pillow with my hands and laying my head on it to indicate I wanted LT and her to stay over, which after a few minutes, the mama finally understood. She asked for 800, but I eventually got it down to 400. Anyway, a couple of tips for first-timers like me. First, make sure you have them wash themselves while they was you beforehand. Some of these girls get high mileage and the first one (the 9-9.5) was obviously very popular. She wasn't exactly smelling like roses, if you know what I mean. Second, if you are going LT with a girl, make sure to bring your own condoms. A lot of these girls carry only one, so you'll be SOL after your first shot.

Day one, Friday and I was too tired to venture out of the hotel.

Day two: After working all day and then back to the intercontinental hotel I went to the room to check my notes. I took the metro to the right stop but was not able to find the Siebo, It was my fault I should have prepared more, I did after walking a long time find an area that was similar, it was an area of a bunch of lanes between buildings that had mammas and pappas touting girls. it was late and I was tired of walking so I went for it. For all I knew this was the Seibo area, but I found it today and it is not the same. I finally returned to LA... Almost got stranded in HKIA as my Malaysian Air flight was delayed by 2 hours and arrived at 12:30 AM thus blowing my chance for 1 more night in SZ/DG. Go ahead and read the ISG threads and don't stray away from Adelita's, HK (no HK sluts there) or Chicago off of main drag. Yep, overnight rate is indeed 1, 200 RMB in SZ's "better" KTVs. It's pricey as it was 800 RMB couple of years ago and can't say SZ KTV girls are any prettier than DG girls. Just cost of living increase for SZ I suppose.

Although you may see the odd 1 or 2 roaming around Shenzhen from time to time, it is not the best place to find Russian girls. There used to be one girl working in a BBS behind Jusco. The lao ban yang wanted 400 RMB for her ST. We recently saw a couple walking the streets nearby the Seibu BBS. Some of them are dancers/entertainers in stage shows and occassionally turn tricks on the side or hang around 5 star hotels and upscale bars as Santa mentioned.

On the other hand, there are hundreds in Beijing. Hollywood is a great place to start. Check the Beijing thread for further details.

Hong Kong is another option, but you will have to pay double the price compared with Beijing. You can save the flight ticket money after the first pop.

There have always been expensive (high class) and cheap (lower class) KTVs.
If you want old Sa Tsui action and prices, go to Sa Wa. The place rocks. Had gals playing dice and stripping in the rooms. Charge was 150 / 300 / 500. Quality was mainly 7+, but as always with any KTV, you better go with someone that has been before if you don't want problems with the bill. Not a Lao wei freindly place, just like the old Sa Tsui. I have been to cheaper KTVs in Lo Wu and Xiang Sa that are also 100 / 300 / 500 but the gals and the rooms are not as nice. Places like Las Vegas and Queens Road are supposedly upmarket and charge accordingly. You just gotta know where to look.

BillI agree with the previous posts. Your better off in Macau, e. G. 18 Sauna. Always some really cute Russian ladies there. I never tried one there but they are really lookers. A bit pricy but easy to reach by ferry from Shenzhen. Get some nice mediterrain dinner and your Russian as desert (maybe a nice Vietnames in between for warm up), back to Shenzhen. Apologize for asking a non mongering question, but would really appreciate your advise as I am not familiar at all with the new Guangzhou airport (believe its no longer Baiyun?):
Need to send my visitors who are here in Hong Kong to catch their plane leaving at 9 pm (back to the U.S.) at Guangzhou airport.
I figure on taking the direct train from Hunghom to Guangzhou East and then take a taxi to the airport.
Then take a taxi back to Guangzhou East train station and catch a train back to Shenzhen. The questions I have are:
- Is this a good plan/any one have a better way to do this?
- Are trains still available at approx 9PM from Guangshou East to Shenzhen? Or is it from another station in guangzhou?
- Are there other means of transport from Guangzhou Intl airport to Shenzhen? i.e. a direct bus or perhaps a train line?

Just got into town, and although it isn't raining, boy is it hot! In an inexplicably stupid move, I made a date with a store salesgirl (cute and could speak English, need I say more), went on said date, had terrible sex, and can't get her out of my hotel room at the moment. Here are two take home points, IMHO. It is not too difficult getting dates here, many regular girls are extremely nice and looking for a boyfriend. Nevertheless, whatever the temptation, avoid freebies as they are often more trouble than they're worth, end up costing more (time, mula, effort). May I once again recommend the demimonde of legit massage places (usually advertising as "foot massage"). For starters, you can try Fu Cheng Foot Bath Center, on Nan Shui Lu, off of Gong Yuen Lu. The girls there are often interested in dating nice gweilo customers. Either they have moved up in the world from BBS type operations, in which case the offer an excellent GFE, or they are on a downward spiral towards the bar scene and the sauna-type places, in which case catch them while you can. I have had several nice freebies this way, with minimal angst afterwards.

While there has been a general recovery from the crackdown several months ago, there is one area that has further declined. The area behind Jusco at Zhong Xing Guang Cheng is basically finished. A recent trip there yielded only 1 mamasan and no girls on display. Of course there are a number of 'legit' message places where they are now touting sex. I have not done one of these shops as they tend to run much higher prices than the old BBS so I herd. Maybe the plan was to move the business indoors so they lightened up on the 'legit' places. Next time I go by I'll ask what the going rate is.

Santa, you seem very reasonable in your comments and advice. I agree that picking a hotel is not always intuitive based on internet information, and very hard to find on this thread.

As you and Csun have mentioned, the JingPeng has internet and a safe (both my standard criteria), but overpriced. As such, I passed on it and don't have personal experience. There are older posts saying that if you say you were sent by Mr. Sun, this could get you a discount.

I previously mentioned Hedong hotel. There is internet access, but no in-room safe, very girl friendly. They do have individual safe/lockers behind the lobby desk.

Haolaideng Jiudian or Horaton Hotel mentions an in-room strong box on the website plus internet (have not personally stayed).

All the above are 3 stars. As for 4 stars, I have stayed at Metropark and liked it very much. That is where I am currently staying. After my trip to CP today, I am returning to SZN and staying at Huizhange Hotel.

No, Tangent is absolutely right, the Nan Hai Hotel is adjacent to the ferry pier at Shekou. You can choose between ferries to Central, Kowloon, or Hong Kong Int'l. airport.

If you are flying in from Dalian to Shenzhen AND arrive during daylight hours you may take the boat from Fuyong (5minutes from shenzhen airport) to hong Kong (Central). Boat will take about an hour.

If you arrive after the last boat, you can take the coach from the airport to Hong Kong crossing at Huanggang. Total travel from Shenzhen airport to your destination in Hong Kong will be at least 90 minutes and depending on the border possibly more than 2 hours. I do not know where the coach will go in Hong Kong, it may be able ot og ot Jordan/TST, MongKok, Tsuen Wan, KwunTong or my favourite WanChai.

Also during daytime hours, there is a bus from Shenzhen Airport (SZX) to Shekou port with a connection to ferry in Shekou to Hong Kong. This seems silly compared to taking the ferry from Fuyong unless it is not available. Airport to Shekou should take 30 to 60 minutes by car or bus.

You should be able to take this bus and stay at the Nanhai hotel in Shekou for overnight fun. The Holiday Inn and Kempinski are also nearby. The HI and Kempinski are about 15 minutes from Shekou port by car (in direction of SZX). You may want to ask the bus to let you off 15 minutes before the port if you want this option. Best action is near Nanhai. The bars near the Nanhai were quite busy tonight.

There were very few streetwalkers on the main strip up to the McDonalds at 9:30pm. Perhaps they are out later.

The BBS strip further inland is really doing much better now with many more shops. I drove by these areas this evening.

An alternative route to Hong kong from SZX is the new bridge/border crossing called Shenzhen Bay. The border is fast here and HK taxis are waiting on the other side. Fare from SZX to Shenzhen bay by taxi would be about 80RMB. Bus to Jordan from the border is 35HKD, buy your ticket before entering the customs area.

I am in Dalian in a week or 2, I hope the scene there has improved but I expect more of the usual.

It's not a must to buy a bus ticket on the chinese side of the border at Shenzhen Bay when returning to Honkers. Once you pass by Hong Kong customs, you may choose the B2 bus, which costs about 8 HKD to the Tin Shui Wai KCR station. This takes about 10 or 15 minutes, and the buses run every 15 minutes or so. From there you are connected to most anywhere in Hong Kong via the KCR and MTR trains. It's a fast and cheep alternative way to get to Shekou also.

There are a new rail line to Shenzhen from Hong Kong to Huanggang border run from 6.am to midnight , So he can now chose 2 line form Tsim sha tsui east stations in kowloon one that go to Lo wu or Huanggang this line will go all the way to guangzhou soon it is a faster than the KCRC line, can any one in Shenzhen know if the subway stations in Hunaggang border are open yet connection to other parts of Shenzhen .

Yes, the subway has been open for a few months already. I took it last time I was there in June.

There's a bit of confusion about all this. The new spur line of the KCR (Kowloon-Canton Railway) opened last Wednesday. This line splits at Sheung Shui from the old KCR mainline (the one which terminates at the Lo Wu border point) so trains leaving TST East now have two destinations. The new terminus is Lok Ma Chau on the HK side, and you can cross into SZ there through the new checkpoint/customs point. If you get on the wrong train heading north, I think you can change from one to the other as far as Fanling. It's not a part of the MTR.

The problem with this new spur is that the crossing point is pretty much in the middle of nowhere from both points of view. After you cross into SZ, you are in a wasteland with a few taxis and minibuses, and very little else. No doubt it will be developed, but right now it's hardly in 'Fu Tian' except in an administrative sense. You can pick up the SZ metro at the Huanggang station there, but I don't think it's direct (i.e. you have to get out of the train station first.) The following link should help:

The KCR and the MTR (the 'subway') are being forced into a merger by the government. This is a still a political football here, which continues to be kicked around without any clear idea of how it will pan out. A plan was announced a few weeks ago for a special train line under this new plan to run from TST to Guangzhou in under an hour, but this has been widely derided as just political posturing by the HK government under pressure from SZ authorities, who are advancing a completely ludicrous scheme to make HK-SZ a 'mega-city'.

Recently, I stayed at the Kempinski Hotel in Shenzhen. I noticed that there haven't been any posts about the hotel yet, so I'd like to add my experience. When I'm in Shenzhen, I don't often have time to make it downtown for the BBS action, so I decided to try the hotel massage service. The Kempinski is a beautiful, new, 5 star hotel, so I wasn't sure if I could even expect 'extra options' with a massage, but I figured it was worth a try.

I went down to the 5th floor wellness center and told the girl at the desk that I'd like a massage. She spoke english quite well and I was given the choice of a massage in my room or in one of the private rooms of the 'wellness center'. I said my room, and then she said that she could do the massage, or the girl standing next to her. I paused for a moment because they weren't super hot, and I had assumed that there were other girls for this task, I thought she was just a receptionist. Then she added that I could choose from a few other girls if I'd like. I said yes and she called some more staff to the desk. Two more girls showed up, also wearing hotel uniforms, and stood around so that I could choose. One of the new girls looked pretty nice, the other ones looked a bit young or not my type, so I selected the one that I liked. They noted my room number and I returned to my room.

Five minutes later, the girl arrived at my room. She was about 5'8", slender, with a very nice face. It turned out that she spoke virtually no english, and so everything was conducted with hand gestures and nods. I showered and then the massage began. I had ordered the oil massage (338 RMB), and it was very good. (I had a massage at a legit place the previous night, and this was just as good.) After almost an hour of massage, while rubbing near 'the area', she begins giggling and making the handjob gesture. Eventually I get her to write down some prices, 500 for HJ and 1500 for LT. This was way more than I was hoping to pay, but when the little man is talking, it's hard to say no. I talked her down to 1000 for FS, but that took a while.

Once the price was set, she got up and took off the hotel uniform. The clothes were a bit baggy and were concealing a really nice figure with long legs and nice sized breasts, hidden behind a thin little bra and matching panties. She went for a quick shower, and then got on the bed, took of the towel, and proceeded to give a vigourous CBJ. Lots of licking of balls and below, and this girl didn't give up after just 5 minutes, like most girls in China seem to do. Then she rolled onto the bed and gestured for me to get on top. I am returning to SZN and staying at Huizhange Hotel.

Absolutely DO NOT stay at this place!! (1008 Jianshe Road) Although it is close to the HK crossing, absolute dump of a place. Something slightly sinister about it too. No lobby or reception, just a desk on a higher floor. Despite me making a reservation through ctrip (they had my name), the person checking me in wanted me to give them the price quoted to me. They could not take a Visa credit deposit (probably just as well). There are a bunch of beggars and runners in front of the buildings constantly badgering you when you enter and leave. The room smelled of mold, air conditioning didn't work (although the air was moving through the vents, three hours later the room was warmer than the outside). I complained within an hour, and got different replies (need to keep thermostat above 15 or it will not work, the governement mandates it keep the rooms warmer, etc.). No soap provided. Bed was moist with a slight musky odor. By the third hour, I left with no refund. There was no apparent recourse. As I was asking to cancel the whole stay, 2 guys came in and stood behind me (as if to remind me not to make trouble?). I would NEVER recommend HuiZhan Hotel to anyone!

Just a note to thank those who posted information about ferry service from HKIA. I took advantage of that last week (Thursday night, August 16) after an exhausting 16-hour flight from Newark. See http://www.xunlongferry.com .
Bypassing HK customs is really worthwhile. The ferry company retrieves luggage, then 200 HKD for 30-minute ride to Shekou. Chinese customs at Shekou had few customers. It was really a breeze. My only complaint is the dearth of taxis at the Shekou terminal. Because I had luggage and the rain was pouring down, I was forced to pay a gypsy cab 100 rmb to take me to my hotel in Futian.

Well, my first post, so let me start with a review of the Carnival Club in Shenzhen, which I visited today.

I'll start with directions, I'm sorry, but the ones previously posted here confused me a bit, I had to ask for directions several times (had to show people the website's - http://www.jnhh.com - map on my iPhone) before finding the place. Take the Subway, get out at the Da Ju Yuan stop. Take exit C1, when you get to the street level, keep going straight about 50 meters, until you hit a cross street to the main - Sheenan Road - street. You will see a fenced Parking Lot across the street, the club is to your left on the side street, behind it.

Facilities: An amazing place. As mentioned before, 4 stories high, awesome Spa, dry and steam Sauna, lots of space for relaxation

Staff: Courteous and helpful, could not have been any better, even if I don't speak any Mandarin

Prices: Here's the latest price list, all in RMB (copied straight from the flyer, not sure about some of the terms ....):
Chinese massage: 118/90 mins, additional 45 min 58 (special right now, normally 168/90 mins)
Thai massage: 138/90 mins, additional 45 min 68 (special right now, normally 188/90 mins)

Had a hell of a time making her understand I wanted an additional hour, had to call someone from the outside to make her understand. Strong hands, she beat the crap out of me;.). Could not even mention about a happy ending. I had a better massage in Shanghai, right to the left as you exit the Crowne Plaza Hotel, go about half a block. And it costed me less; in 2005 I paid less than 20 USD, and that included the tip

Damage: 5 hours there, 3 having a massage, came up to 252 RMB, and that included 50 RMB as a tip to the girl (please don't flame me because I over tipped her, she was very nice.). She was straight about wanting tip, but pointed to a sign on the wall (in english) stating that tipping was optional, I'll give her points for that. Plus 8 RMB for the roundtrip subway fare

Overall, IMHO, a good experience, probably a 7 or 8 out of 10. Would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Recently went to the 3 main areas of ShaZui, DongMen (Seibu), and LouHu (pink buildings). All went reasonably well and all areas are active enough that it was reasonably easy to find a girl.

ShaZui has girls available in the shops. Normally they start being available in the early afternoon, but later is better. I was there about 6 pm and while not near its former glory days, it had enough to make a selection. The girl I selected was a bit more of a pro than I normally go for, but she was pretty hot looking. On undressing it was clear her breasts had been 'enhansed' but the scars and lack of proper proportion tended to make me think it was not a good thing. With clothes on she looked great, but during the act it natural would have been better. Smallish nipples on C cup girls just did not work. In general good enough time for 150 rmb, and her quick exit after the deal leaving me to dress at my leisure was actually a plus. A little time to finish a water I always bring with me, straighten my clothes, check that I was not forgetting anything, etc.

SeiBu had a nice girl but her style of what Chinese call SuiJiao (childlike) was a bit annoying. I know I have the chinese level of a child, does not mean I really like childlike, but I guess I need more language practice. Standard terms and conditions applied, though she offered to go to her apartment and spend time with her big breasted friend. Maybe next time.

Pink Buildings are always a bit dependent on the mamasan. The girls hanging around are only a small portion of the total it would seem and a mama will pull the girls you want, though dont expect a big selection. The girl pulled for me had a nice body, but a bit young by my standard. Too easily yang, a bit limited to mish and little play experience. Nice was her attitude about penis size, in that she wanted a quick inspection before agreeing. After inspection her relief was obvious and a bit charming.

I won't flame you (too much), but Holy Shit Batman, did you pawn the Batmobile to pay for this? Considering you got the better deal with full sex, I wanted to say this, since most part-time mongers like to do exchange rate values:

A 500 rmb HJ equates to $67 USD, wouldn't it be more cost effective to spent 10 rmb on a bottle of baby oil and a box of tissues and just use your imagination?

1000 rmb for FS equates to $133 USD, which is a far better deal, but still way over priced. You mention just one round with her, which indictates to me you paid 1000 rmb for ST and not LT. An overnight KTV girl goes for 1200 rmb in Shenzhen, which means you can screw her multiple times.

If you say you want a "private" massage in your room, then they know that what you really want is sex and will charge more.

If a guy comes to China on business and blindly goes into this, then he has an excuse as to why he paid this much, but you are posting on ISG which means you are fully aware of prices and how things work and chose to disregard the norm.

I agree that high end hotels do charge more, and I guess paying $133 USD (Assuming you are from the USA) does seem like a small amount to pay to screw a young, sexy Chinese girl, but this is the reason they charge so much, because guys like you are willing to pay their over inflated price.

As I said in the DG thread, the girl is tasked by the hotel to give you a massage, if she wants to provide "special services" then she sets the price, not the hotel.

this is my first time to post report so please bear with me. i have recently been twice to the palm spring sauna in futian. very fancy place run by hk people. had a massage by a beauty therapist - more expensive then normal massages but what the hell - she gave a nice hj. place was very clean and luxurious decorated. expensive by china standards for just a hj - rmb400 including tips. but if you are not into any chances and want a clean and decent place to let off some juices - this serves the purpose.

Hotel name is Home Inn and on the 2nd floor is a sauna/massage place. Here it is all business. RMB450 for FS with all the usual frills. Last a good hour. Girl is okay say 6-7. If you are not happy with what they send in you can ask to change. Saw some 8's running around after i finished. I guess this place more for the straight mongers who don't need want to waste time and get straight down to the fun.

I live in SZ but have been away for 3 months. Though I live here, I occasionally stay in a Luohu (Lowu) hotel to play.

First the hotel: I stayed at Shenzhen Guangxin Hotel which had darn nice rooms for the price (though no English channels on the TV). It’s a bit off the beaten path, yet very close to the action. Prices, of course, vary depending on day and your bargaining skills, but are listed as: Singles Y220 (of which they NEVER seem to have any available) Deluxe Y288 (not deluxe, but very nice) Super Deluxe Y360 and other rooms priced at Y358 and Y428. I have always been able to get a discount, most recently a Deluxe for 268 (from the listed Y288). So check the list and try to get em down by simply looking a bit perturbed OR saying (if you know) Chinese: tai gui le (too expensive). They usually succumb at the drop of a hat.

There’s another list of prices at a MUCH higher rate, probably for holidays and such, so don’t always expect these low prices.

The hotel is located (damn, can’t remember the street) 2 blocks west of Dongmen Road, from the Panglin Hotel, go west (on Jiabin Road) for 2 blocks and turn left (south). It is located right near the Guomao subway station (very convenient) on the west side of the street. They are girl friendly, but will ask the girl to supply them with her national ID card. No sweat.

I was there well before the SW scene picks up, so I went to the Seibu BBS area. Must agree with the others, the numbers here are quite impressive and the quality (for a picky person like me) is very nice. I think there was a misunderstanding. Hotel SPA girls do not do LT for 500RMB in any hotel I have ever stayed at in China. The lowest price I have ever been able to negotiate is 300RMB ST. 400-600 RMB ST is the norm in Shenzhen. IMHO, she agreed to ST for 500RMB; you kept her LT and did not pay her for it. You may have been lucky they did not wait for you outside the hotel. They probably just chalked it up to your lack of language skills and did not want to jeapordize their relationship with the hotel.

Hi there guys, thanks for keeping a good active forum. It was my second trip to Shenzhen, first available mongering trip. Last time as well as this time I stayed at the Jinhui Jasper Hotel in Nanshen. A little bit of a walk from the last metro stop. Bus stop is baishizu.

Got in late at night from Ningbo, didn't feel like going anywhere, called the spa and asked them to send a girl for massage. About 200, then I said special massage and the lady fumbled the phone a man came on the line and asked if I want special, I said yes, its 600 (I forget if I paid 600 or 700) I think it was the former.

Around 5/6 oclock in the afternoon went to this big complex in Nanshen. If you're in a taxi it'll say something like 'health town' and spa in big letters. Biggest tell all is some golf shops in the same complex, it comes on the same side of the road as the intercon and the theme parks. I've stayed at this hotel twice. I have to say the best vip spa rooms I have ever experienced. Very clean, very spacious, very nicely appointed chair, two beds one with the rods on the ceiling for back walking or other activities, and another large one. The steam showers are great and clean. All in all a place I would go just to relax. If only the TV had some good english channels, well, next time I'll take my own mp3s.

Your concern and advice are all well appreciated. This was my first earnest mongering trip. Prior to this only the AMPs in my various cities of residence. Towards the end of the trip I could have used a pick me up, and it did work. Between choosing actual V or the Chinese herbal variant I choose the lesser of the two evils IMHO because I am skeptical of anything in China which is marketed as original or brand name.

Of course hits and misses, no guarantees in life, use at your own risk. I'm not a through and through skeptic though, I think the mattel case etc. Puts a dark light on Chinese quality, but if the indians can get quality right I don't see why the Chinese can't. There are quick buck artists all over the place but I would imagine that the Chinese have more at stake there. Of course internal consumption goods carry a different story.

So, all you expats travel back for medical care? I figure the public health stuff is pretty bad and crowded, but nothing private?

Friend of a friend went to a doctor recently, was told your hearts in very bad shape, you need to start on all these pills, etc. Went to another doc for a second opinion, was told he's healthy as an ox! Poor bastards now looking for a third. It used to be just lawyers you had to watch out for.

Now to tell you something I would not believe if I didn't see it with my own eyes and do it.

Right off Shennan Road just past Wenjin Road in an area called Hua Bei Ling, (also refered to as the Wal-mart area in Luo Hu) I found 50RMB ST girls, only 50RMB for 15 minutes, no blowjob or any frills, wham bam thank you mam, "50rmb" its incredible if you don't mind the girls telling you to hurry after 10 minutes.

How to find it:

Hi Guys, heres a random question, because I got a few PMs regarding the Chinese V. Now I consider myself and generally young and verile man, but if you're paying for it, and especially with the mechanical WGs this stuff lets you get your money's worth. Especially if you really want to stick it to them! Bad pun inteneded. This was my first time trying

I tried the following three types on the recommendation of the pharmacies. The one titled 'Strond Root' I got from (I think) the medicine shop (american chain) in Hua Qiang Bei. For about 120RMB it is good for four doses (8 pills total in two each packing). I had asked for V and that was 139 for 1 shot. This was the best. Anyone have any other suggestions?

The other two I got from the big Chinese pharmacy in Hua Qiang Bei right out of the metro stop. The bottle is useless, I think. The other is about 95RMB it comes in three small boxes, with each box having 15 pills. I can't read Chinese and don't know how to take this stuff, I popped about 5 and nothing. Can anyone translate?

Also, wanted to know about condoms. Is it wise to carry from home or buy there. Some countries you can't get the larger size ones which are easier and not quite restricting of the blood flow?I experimented with this pill recently, mainly to see if I can keep wood when my girl turns out to be a starfish. Bought them at a drugstore beside the Seibu BBS alleys.
