To get back on topic I was giving an opinion about the opportunity to score freebies in Shenzhen, namely Shekou at the Terrace Bar. I've been there many times with friends from the States who had a very difficult time finding a dance partner, let alone a freebie, when there were lots of women on the dance floor, Chinese and Fillipino. In Fenwicks you can't walk from the entrance to the bar without getting mugged by WGs.

Eh,no offence mate, but you are a very large, and IMHO not particularly overweight, just what I would call a big bastard. I am sure you get many freebies given your stature, and probably a few refusals as they may be concerned about being split in two!

the price was only RMB400! To me, that's a bargain, especially with the quality of service provided in comparison to the saunas in Bading. Has anyone been to a sauna like this, ie. Provides this kind of service?
ChangPing has plenty of full service saunas. High end ones are around 550 rmb.
But just about every town in Dongguan has at least 1 high end hotel that provides FS sauna. Usually a bit pricier than CP, around 700-800 rmb. Competition in CP keeps the price down.
The ones in Bading Street are NOT like this which is just a quick massage and shag! I picked up a business card as I left the next morning (as it’s free to stay there if you get there after a certain time, I think midnight) but can’t find it now. I kick myself for losing it! My question is, does anyone know of a similar place like this IN the Shenzhen area?
None that I have been to in Shenzhen. I would imagine that some of the high end hotels in Shenzhen would have it. I shudder at the thought of what the price would be. My advice: do like all the other HK people, go to CP or ZhangMuTou.
Before this website, I had to rely on Shenzhen taxi drivers for mongering locations and apart from Bading Street, the following were recommended (see attachments):

There's a place across the street behind peng nian hotel. It's underground and it's only $169 about for the same service. The place is not as new as Lotus a bit on the run down side. But they offer this special that if you add 100 RMB on top of 168 rmb, you get to have two girls give you a massage at the same time. That is totally something new to try out if you haven't yet.

The Terrace is fun, but it is a relatively 'respectable' place, which means the management doesn't want to encourage an overt P4P scene there...girls who are obviously out to mob you and your pals upon arrival would not be welcome. That's for the bar streets 500m away. It's quite different from Fenwicks.
I suggest lining up girls beforehand, and them taking them to the Terrace (which all Shekou girls love.) Whether that means chatting them up and/or barfining them at a proper pick-up bar or BBS, maybe hanging around outside in Sea World waiting to get lucky, hitting on a cute waitress at one of the other restaurants there, or going for a foot massage and finding out if any of the cute girls can get off work early, or any of the other means of sorting out a partner, that's for you to try.
My impression is that some of the bars in the Sea World Pit (Mustang Sally's, Paris Kiss (or whatever it was called)) were more of a Fenwick's-style scene, but that was before the flood in June.
So I went after reading about this place. Fuck...#9 was so hot I asked her to marry me during the massage. The massage was terrible because of her nails but when those things started to work on ur ass n crack, WOW!

In Shenzhen you can get non pros. If you can speak chinese you can hook up in the bars. If you do not best way is the massage parlors.
Most of the massage girls are non pros. You can get their number by talking to them nicely. There are some who speak passable english. I have been successfull bagging a few. There are no restrictions for them not to socialize with customers.
They usually meet you when they have no work. There are no restrictions for them like curfew hours etc. They are provided with basic accomodations usually on the upper floors of massage places. They are also provided with basic food. Only thing is they are averse to going to hotel rooms. I have an apartment in shenzhen. Girls usually come and hang out with me when they are not working. I treat them like girlfriends and take them shopping and give them couple of hundred RMB once in a while. They make roughly 4000-6000 RMB including tips a month. One girl even ditched her boyfriend to be with me.
Sexually they are not the best I have had. Not enough experience. According to the girls once in two months they and their boyfriend rents a motel for 2 hours for 30 RMB to have sex. They would love to stay with you And have sex all day. Otherwise their life is spent massaging and sleeping. No they do not have TV in their rooms.
If a massage girl tallks to you nicely she is game. She will ask you if you are alone, what you do, where you stay etc. These are the girls you should be targetting. Not the ones who keep mum and do the massage.
Once they meet you they are ready for sex because they know what is expected. No need to romance with many dates. The first girl I met I took my own time thinking she may say no to sex. The turnaround came when we both went for a massage at another massage place. The girl massaging her asked her in chinese whether we had sex yet for which she replied something like why I am waiting. I took the hint and took her to my apartment and made love. After that all the other girls straight to bed on the first date.

You say that you will meet in public , then they will decide. You make the rules , not them. Many Chinese men smoke and drink and prostitutes would be out-of-business if they start to dictate too many rules. Don't even let them call for a taxi , pick the hotel and if their cell phone rings too many times , tell them off with the phone or the deal is off.
If they don't go for your rules , then maybe they would have been trouble. Its your call.

This is very good advice, and it's what I have been saying since I joined this board. My only comment is, that my regular footie girl was more than happy to come to my hotel the first time, in fact she was the one who suggested it...I have passed up more come-ons from massage girls than I've acted on, just due to my heavy load of 'commitments' hehe...

Where is ZhangMuTou? In Shenzhen? Anywhere near the Lo Wu or Huanggang borders? I’ve never heard of it or seen it on this thread and I’ve read almost 50 pages now!
The reason why I want saunas in Shenzhen is because I’m limited to 3-4 hours playtime every time I’m there on business and going to Changping could take up to an hour and by taxi costs about RMB200. If I take all this into account, then paying that bit extra in Shenzhen makes no real difference as I save time and travel expenses. I’m not as lucky as the majority of you who get to stay overnight in hotels - I’m positively envious! In the near future, I plan to make myself available for a whole day and then I will make my first foray into ‘Central Pussy’ (CP) but until then I’m restricted to just Shenzhen!
In my previous post, I mentioned that I lost the business card to the ‘18 style’ sauna that I went to but I think I may have just found it! After submitting that first post, I renewed my efforts to look for it again and I found one card for which I can’t remember where it is from and when I picked it up. As it’s all in Chinese, I’m not sure if it’s THE sauna (my holy grail) or whatever?! I’ve attached the front and back of the card as 18-style 01 & 02. Is it in Changping? If any kind fellows could tell me what and where it is, I would really appreciate it! I don’t have any mongering friends who read Chinese! If this is indeed my holy grail, does anyone know if this place is still in operation as it’s been 2 - 3 years ago since I was there? If so, I’ll be off for a repeat visit next week!!! From what I remember, it was a mind-blowing experience and I for one can’t wait for a similar experience…

I think image 01 is the club’s business card, 02 is a mamasan’s business card (??) and 03 is the back of one of the cards showing a map of how to get there. This is the KTV (my first and only KTV in China) that I went to with those Chinese businessmen before heading off to that ‘18 style’ sauna in the middle of Nowheresville?! Could anyone tell me where this KTV is? The WGs in this KTV were pretty hot, probably 7 – 9s! I have some pixs of some of these women and if I get enough interests from YOU, I’ll post some up! I know people might berate me for not knowing where the heck I was going but it was my first social experience with Chinese businessmen and I was just going along with the flow! Walk out the front door of your hotel, turn right, walk about 50 feet across the street, you will see a sign with two feet on it, this is Massage Joint #2.
Walk out the front door of your hotel, turn right, walk about 50 feet across the street, turn right and walk past the "huge" KTV and next to the 7-11 is Massage Joint #3, can't miss the girl standing out front of the place wearing a fancy dress.
but if you do, and keep walking straight, you will walk right into the front door of the Fu Rong Massage Joint.....stop walking. Massage Joint #4.
If you are so inclined to try KTV's and don't want to go to the one you walked past in search of a massage, walk out the front door of your hotel and look across the street and in huge letters on the bldg you will see BabyK KTV.
If clubbing and freebies are your thing, walk out the front door of your hotel, look across the street at the BabyK KTV, scan a little to the right and in neon lights you will see a sign that says Crazy Club.
If you want prostitutes and like 'em common farm girl style (much cheaper than the other ones) walk out the front door of your hotel, take about 40 steps forward and look left, you will see a magazine stand. Just stand next to it for 3-4 minutes and the mommies will find you.
If you want higher class WG's, walk out the front door of your hotel, turn left and walk to the next intersection called Dongmen Lu, turn left and walk all the way down to the Panglin Hotel. You will be assulted by many mommies on your walkabout at night.
If you want to explore the Seibu area, I have no idea where that is, so please RTFF because you are already smack dab in GROUND ZERO.
Wow, so much free time to give out such step-by-step details to the freshmen.

To confirm/expand on what Arctic has already said, from the info on your cards:

Panther night club is in BaoAn
Both places are quite far from downtown Luohu, about 45 minutes or so by car. BaoAn is WNW from Luohu, LongHua is NW, if you care to look on a map. So not much closer than CP really.

Long hua town is a factory town about 15 km north of Lo wu , bus #25 cost 8 rmb take about one hr to Long hua main bus stations leave from Lo wu bus stations there are many low cost foot massage and sauna some offer full service, massage start at 55 rmb for 90 min and FS is 150 rmb more .
Unless you have some other business here it is not worth the time to go there the same goes for Bao'an, there are many cheap sauna with service in Futain district if you know where to go .

Went to this place in Chang'an with my Taiwanese friends and was amazed by the facility, service and the girls.
Wusha Hotel is located in Wusha District in Chang'an and has this establishment in the back where there are nice and clean private rooms. Look for a mama-san and ask her for a line-up (make sure you ask for the line-up, otherwise the mama will pair you up with a girl who has not been chosen for a long time).

Depends on your preference really. If you prefer KTV or BBS scene with younger girls, downtown is better than Shekou. If you prefer the bar scene with older more experienced girls where you buy them drinks and stuff, then Shekou is better.

The inner mongolian or Mongolian comment was derived from a long time ago. Back a few years back when you and Tapioca were up in Shanghai and you wrote to me telling me that you had a thing for Inner Mongolians or Mongolians( i stand corrected)
Hunan and Sichuan seemed to the most prevalent in CP, and all of Dongguan in general it seems. Sichuan girls are great and all, but when they get mad, they really have a temper in my experience. Another field report; a bit long in the making, but considering the recent chatter, it seems very relevant. Over the last few months I have made several trips from HK to SZ and I would like to share the info.
First, I have recently begun to take the KCR to Lok Ma Chau more often. The KCR from Hung Hom is about 35 HKD. The new KCR station is clean, efficient, and uncrowded. Clearing HK immigration is fast, then a simple stroll across the river on the enclosed walkway brings you to the Chinese customs. It is huge, with many open counters waiting to welcome you. Exit immigration, then down the escalators to the street. Outside there are few touts, as the area is still new. A far superior experience to the old crossing IMHO. Then walk out to the street under the overpass heading south-ish, hail a taxi, and find myself in heaven (Sha Tsui) in less than 10 minutes.
It’s true, the area is much more subdued lately, but it’s still very fine to me. Attached is a couple of pictures of some real cuties I have met there. All 150 RMB, pay after. That’s my steadfast rule, and attached is a jpg I have loaded into my phone to reinforce that fact with the mamas, as I don’t speak a word of Chinese. I regularly laugh and walk away from high prices to reinforce that I am the customer, and the customer chooses how to spend his money, hopefully wisely. A few months ago, I was out on the town with JBone2, and we stayed in the Seibu area. Attached is the card for the well named ‘Cocky Star Suite Inn’ right across from the gates of the pedestrian walkway. The booking office is on the ground floor close to the elevator entrance. Take your buddies and have a party! Highly recommended.
So too is the Queen Spa. Much has been written about the place, so I have little to add. However, please be careful with the in-out privileges. Before going in, we checked VERY clearly as to the rules, and we told ‘no problem’ to go in and out over the course of our stay, no extra charges. However, when we tried to do it several times for extended periods, suddenly a big fuss was made. Over the course of 24 hours, we had 2 long sessions in the spa, and even slept in our own hotel (the cocky star as above) and shagged a gaggle of china dolls, before finishing with another spa session in the morning. They definitely felt we were abusing the in-out privilege, but hey I did ask CLEARLY! The total charge for my 24 hours was 98rmb. Excellent value, but YMMV.
I have attached a few pics to load into your mobile to show the taxi driver where you want to go, or the mama what you want. Use as you like, although the resizing has made some of the maps hard to read, sorry.
So in conclusion, there is still lots of great fun to be had in SZ, but do not overpay! Good value is important to us all.

BTW - I meant to say. Guys, Dont forgot to take your own condoms because I forgot my usual supply at hotel and YanYan provided hers. My experience is, that if you try to call a waitress "leng leuih", she will think you are trying to pick her up. If that's your point, try it. If you just want more hot water for your tea, well, it might work and then again it might not.
"Siu je" is neutral, and doesn't imply she's on the game. And as to being impolite, you just try to get the waitress's attention in some of these places! "Hey Girl!" is often a necessity if you want any kind of service.

First time in shenzhen and this place was hard as hell to find. It is in the same building as the hospital (community clinic) but the entrance is behind it.
If you plan on doing any type of 'sleeping' I wouldn't recommend this. Single room is situated on the street side and it's noisy as hell. First scan, it is pretty clean but when I uncover the blanket there were a few strands of hair, pubic hair for that matter, on the sheets. If you value comfort, like me, I would say pay the extra 50rmb and go to a 'real' hotel. At least they give you the impression of clean.

Ah back in SZ, of course I cruised over to Seibu. Found the prior spillover section is now deserted but of course they are now standing and loitering about in one huge group (looks like more than before) across the street. Waited for a long time to get my prior provider and watched the cops close maybe lock the back entrances to a few of the alley ways most likely all but didn't bother to check each one. The only ones who were given a hard time on their patrols were the mobile vendors selling SW jewelry out of thin suitcases. Took my old copy of the photo of front gate someone had posted a while back and made my way off. Took the subway to the midpoint station which is easy to identify as its the connection point for both the east west and north south lines. From there I hailed a taxi to take me the rest of the way. If you want a taste of free lance girls in a nice setting, you can try V-Bar at the Crowne Plaza. Be forewarned, there's some nice lookers once in a while, but they talk crazy when it comes to money. That's fantastic based on what I saw saturday night. I walked there twice from I think 5pm to 830pm. ALL the shops were closed (5 alleys). Place is known as Luohu Commerical Center, it is probably the biggest rip off in Shenzhen. It's in tons of tourist guides as the biggest place for conterfeit crap in China and what makes it worse is it is very poor quality stuff all geared for the tourists who think they are getting a sweet deal.
I did some contract work once for a company investigating counterfeit watches, I found out there are 4 grades of counterfeit watches (A, B, C, D) all the shit they pawn off on tourists there is in the C and D range with the majority being in the latter.
Sometimes I buy a few things from there, like XXL Tommy Bahama shirts, but I know when I buy them these are low quality conterfeits and understand they are just 3-4 month disposable shirts.
There is actually much better places to shop in Shenzhen, where you get legit bargain priced western goods, that somehow missed the boat.

That just can't be right. There's no such thing as a "Seibu office building." Seibu (in China) is a chain of Japanese department stores. Seibu, being a very large Japanese conglomerate, might very well have offices, but in SZ they are best known for their department stores. Did you say it in Mandarin? You have to ask for "Xiwu baihua." Since there's a couple of them, you have to ask for the one in Luohu. I find it hard to believe a cab driver wouldn't know where it is and even if he didn't, he could just use his 1990's Nextel walkie talkie to ask his dispatch guy.

Girls at V-Bar will typically ask for 2-3000. If this is your first time in China, then you're going to have a hard time finding the BBS places without a guide. If you want to give it a shot, read this thread to about 20-30 pages back. That should provide you with enough info to manage on your own if you're so inclined.

This is actually in reference to a place in Shanghai that some of you might be famliar with. It is usually referred to as "The Pub", because people don't like to put the real name on the forums (I believe the owners check the forums and don't want their place identified).
In any case, I used to go there quite a bit and really liked just about everything about it. I would love to find something similar in Shenzhen, but I haven't had any luck so far.

Hopefully things there have escaped all the attention by LE. This is my first time in Shenzhen, so it was good sign of things to come I hope.The Kempinski bills itself as a 5 star hotel, so I'm not surprised at the price or the service. FYI, there's a brand new 4 star hotel (The Grand View Hotel)just around the corner next to the new Rainbow City Shopping Center in Coastal City. The place is really nice and half the price of the Kempinski. Also, you don't need to go all the way to Seibu, as there are options much closer (5 minutes) and much cheaper.

I don't do anything at the Nanshan BBS, it's waaaay too close to home for me. Don't shit where you eat.
As for the crackdowns at the Seibu BBS, it's been going on for months now. Probably a couple times a week, but most crackdowns only last for a few hours. That place is getting too popular and well-known for its own good. Service used to be way better there, it's pretty crappy now.
As for the Seibu SWs, most of them are girls with a regular daytime jobs. They finish work around 6 or so, have dinner, and then bus it to Seibu to make some extra bucks. Usually they have to ride the bus for at least 30 minutes because they don't want their colleagues and friends to know what they do, so they don't show up until 9-10 PM.
Hmmm, sounds like trouble in Seibu as well as CP. Wadman and Yellow Fever #2, have you guys been to our favorite little street in Nanshan lately? Hopefully things there have escaped all the attention by LE.

Unfortunately, I have not found anything similar in S. China. The closest self-contained facility with on-site service would be a FS sauna or massage place. You might also be able to get away with it in one of the small KTV rooms designed for only 2 people, but there you would be hit with a room charge on top of the tip for the girl.
Another alternative is to rent a hotel room ST if you do not like the environment provided at BBS. It only costs 50-100 RMB for 2-3 hours.
The issue is that you are never sure about the quality of service like you are at "The Pub".

This is actually in reference to a place in Shanghai that some of you might be famliar with. It is usually referred to as "The Pub", because people don't like to put the real name on the forums (I believe the owners check the forums and don't want their place identified).
In any case, I used to go there quite a bit and really liked just about everything about it. I would love to find something similar in Shenzhen, but I haven't had any luck so far.
If any of you are familiar with the Pub, could you recommend a place in shenzhen that is of similar quality and service? The BBS are okay, and all, but I prefer a slightly nicer environment. Since moving to the South of China I haven't been able to locate a suitable location.
Any help is much appreciated and I will certainly post a report after visiting.

Unlike Seibu, Jusco (LuoHu) and Walmart (Futian) areas, the BBS scene in NANSHAN DISTRICT never seems to be closed by LE.
Remember this is a different district, with different LE and a different customer base.
I have never seen BBS in Shekou, Nanshan (Nanxin Road area), Nanshan Sega strip, or the BBSs in BaiShiZhou or Dachong ever close by LE. Certainly some will go out of business but a new one will open up in the same location or around the corner within seconds.
In Shekou, there are perhaps 25BBS, nanxin area 10+, DaChong 15+, BaiShiZhou 30+ and Nanshan Sega has about 5 or 6 stocked stables possibly available around the clock. Shekou and Nanshan Sega are best for inexperienced mongers, all the other areas require a more adventurous spirit to walk through the villages in search of pink lights.
For those who stay at or near the Crowne Plaza and get tired of the overpriced merchandise at V-Bar, BaiShiZhou is only a 10 minute walk away.
It may not be CP but I will almost certainly find satisfaction in this area without traveling far.
In addition, there are SWs in Shekou and also near the Nanshan SEGA strip.

They give breakfast vouchers, there is a clean foot massage place upstairs, a place called Queen spa across the street (but different than the one mentioned numerous times on this board). Couple questions: they have greeters at the downstairs elevators, did you have any problems bringing girls in? Could you provide walking or taxi details to get to the BBS close to the hotel. Is it the Sega market that you described below, or another (either way, directions from hotel would help this non-speaking monger).

I very much doubt that you would have any problems with the greeters at the Grandview Hotel, as they're getting used to more Westerners, Koreans, Japanese, etc. Just blow by them like you own the place. As for directions there are a few different Grandview Hotels, even in Nanshan. There's another one near the Nanshan Hospital owned by the same group. Easiest way to tell the taxi driver where you want to go is to tell them Kempenski Hotel (Kai Bin Si Ji Jiu Dien). Sorry if my pinyin isn't perfect. I'm definately not a Mandarin teacher.
FYI, you can get FS sauna massage at Haopengyou Sauna on Ho Hai Blvd. , about a 15 min walk. It's 175RMB for a two hour VIP massage, plus the girl (100 HJ-300FS). It's not CP, but it's not bad. Definately a step up from in house BBS. I'll send you a PM with step by step directions.

ShaZui village is close by on ShaZui road and Furong road. Nothing out in the open anymore, but plenty of cheap "saunas". Saunas are 300-400 all-in, which is pretty cheap for Shenzhen, but girls don't look so good. Mamas will also do lineups but you have to follow them inside first; a high-pressure situation which I do not like.
XiaSha and ShangSha have action too, located a few kms west of ShaZui. Again no BBSs.
Or you can try ShuiWei village, on FuQiang road south of BinHe road.
Note: these places cater to Hongkies of Chinese descent, so if you are white and don't speak much Mandarin/Cantonese it can be a bit trying.

OAHYeah. The main problem is that I'm just not as familiar with Shenzhen and since I live in HK and can only go up there when I have nothing else happening on my weekends, I never have the opportunity to really get a feel for the scene up there. Reading the forums is a big help, but it's different when you have first hand experience.
I'm going up this weekend, but it's to meet friends for the holidays so not really a good chance to explore the territory either. Ah well. Maybe another time.

Oil massage in a private room starts at about 178 RMB (extra tips for extra service).
I haven’t tested this because I live nearby, but for those of you who were here late and didn't want to truck it back to LoHu or FuTian it might be a good option if you were going to get a massage anyway.
There are cheap hotels down the road (between the Luna Bar and Manila Bar) for 160 – 200 RMB if you just need a place to crash.

If any of you guys want to get a Subway sandwich. You can get one at the Carrefour mall in Futian near Coco Park and the Exhibition Center. As far as I can tell, it's no different than the ones you get in the US. Subway's not exactly my preferred food choice, but sometimes, you feel like getting a sandwich and finding a decent sandwich is a task in itself. IIRC, it was 25RMB for a 6" one and 41RMB for a 12" one.

百花四路 is the area behind the Pavilion Hotel 聖廷苑酒店 I think , i never been there , its inside a residence compund , above a seven eleven from all reports. The name of the shop 正源美容.
The other one is in Longhua, in a suburb of Shenzhen 龙华牛拦前村福建城口爆店.

I can't your specific question, other's probably know better.
However I would suggest you consider investing the time and money to getting tourist visa at home asap - if you carry US passport, as an example - you should be able to get a one year multiple (at every least the first time 6 month multiple) visa for about $100.

You better talk to a travel agent in whatever country you are in. I've never heard of on the spot visas being issued at HK airport. They still issue visas at Shenzhen entry points for some countries, but significantly NOT for the US...this is part of the ongoing 'visa war' between the US and China. US passports need a visa issued in Hong Kong or overseas. And when you do get your visa, you will discover that the fee, if you have a US passport, is much higher. I have also never hear of a visa exemption for anyone. There used to be special SEZ visas, which allowed you to travel only within that SEZ, and not to the rest of China, but Americans, at least, now need a full China visa to go to SZ or anywhere else in the PRC.
Be careful. If you screw up, they will make you life miserable for a couple of hours and then send you back to HK on the last boat/train/bus.
Also, for US passports, the 6-month multiple entry visa (rem: makes me think of my GF in SZ!) is now HK 1280.00, or USD 165.00.

at HKIA you can go to a booth opposite of the exits between meeting point A and B. The customs officers outside the meeting gates can direct you to it. You do not get a visa on the spot but may take several hours. If you fly in to HKIA in the morning before 10AM just go to the booth where they will assist you in processing the paperwork and may get the visa to enter the china at 4PM. if not you should get it the following morning. if they can not get you a visa on the same day, they have a list of hotels where they get discounted room rates. they are helpful.
I had a friend that came in and realize that his visa just expired and his limo driver took him to the Huangguang border crossing and the officers there was able to process him on the spot and gave him a one time entry (up to either a 30 or 60 day stay). I think the driver must have known one of the duty officer at that border crossing.

Cool you mentionned that place as I was wondering about it. Walked by at night a few months back with Missus Luis1 and when I offered that we go for a massage there she was OK for it.
Is it discreete enough to have fun with your wife a few meters away? and more importantly what are the extra on offer as I'd have a hard time chosing between a hanjob, a CBJ or doing the laundry, and some of the posts in this forum had me worried ?
Besides are all the massage places operating along the same (naughty) lines in SZN and Shanghai?

Yes. It was that bad. The outcome could have been very different and you would be reading my story from a newspaper. I am a seasoned monger. I used to post under a different handle.
The past Wednesday I found myself back at my usual hunting ground Sha Tsui. Even though Sha Tsui is only a shadow of it's formal self, I still prefer it over Seibu due to it being 30 rmb taxi fare closer to where I live, the girls somewhat less rush and the mamasan definitly less pushy. For the last couple of weeks the LE has been rounding up the girls so there were no more than 20 girls around that night. After a couple of pass I was about to give up when I saw a very pretty girl sitting by the door of a message parlor. The message parlor is next to a dental office, which itself was used to be a message parlor. From past experience the pricing structure at those message parlors is usually $90 for the room (which can be negotiated down to $70), and $150 for the girl. Some girls will asked for $200 if the price was not negotiated before hand. Sometimes I prefer the message girl over the BBS girl because the room is much cleaner and in general I get 1 to 1. 5 hours instead of 20 to 45 mins.
It was the first time I was at that particular sauna. A lineup was formed and the girl at the door was picked. In retrospect I should not have chosen her because she was hiding at the back instead of the others who were actively presenting their wares. But I am a sucker for beauty. I was then taken to a nearby upperstair message parlor that was also used by several other MPs. That MP has a residential entrance and is more hidden away from the LE. I had been there many times so there was no alarm. The papasan asked for the $70+$200 upfront but I insisted to pay afterwards as usual. I was trying to be nice to the girl by mentioning that the $70 was for the house and the $200 for the girl. The papasan left somewhat annoyed.
Off went her clothes and I was pleasantly surprised by a pair of 32D on a petite body. But that was the end of good things to come for that evening. She would not shower, do a BJ or kiss me anywhere. She was intended to finish in 20 minutes. One thing I hate the most is being rushed. So I offered to pay her $400 total if she stayed for the full 1. 5 hours (and stop rushing me). She said she would stay only for an hour for the original $270. It went back and forth, and nothing was settled. 35 minutes into the session I had enough of her. Even though I had not finished, I told her I was leaving and would only pay her $270. She demanded $400 and threathened to call her papasan. I retreated quickly into the bathroom with my belongings. Damn the hot water wasn't working so I just put my clothes back on. When I got out of the bathroom she was talking to someone on the phone. I left $270 on the bed but she angrily held on to my clothes and wouldn't let me go. A few insulting words were exchanged. I never use force on a woman but nobody would have blamed me if I unpried her fingers from my clothes. I was glad I didn't because' the thugs that were about to show up would have greatly disagreed.
10 minutes passed and I was only able to make out of the room into the corridor. I was talking loudly so that other people in the passage parlor can hear me. In came the papasan (I believe, I am not good at faces) and 2 thugs. They asked me to go back to the room to discuss (NEVER EVER DO THAT! ) The difference between triads and thugs is the triads can hunt you down, torture you in ways unimaginable and make you disappear without a trace, but they do it for a good reason. The thugs are uncontrollable and unpredictable. If I were in Mongkok I am sure the girl would be admonished but these three guys came with only one mission. To extract the money from me. They would not listen to reason and the situation escalated into violence within one minute. The thug on my left hammer my head with his fist. He did so by jumping up so that he could apply the full weight of his body in his strike. The thug on the right slapped me hard. He then snapped a bamboo broom and pointed the rugged edge towards me. The papasan threatened to leave me with his two buddies. The situation was turning downhill really fast.
I was surprising unrattled and composed. I shouldn't but that probably saved me. Principle and dignity weren't important anymore. I calmly paid the $130. The girl told them I had more money on me (did I mention that she was evil? ! ) but the thugs did nothing more. If I had been any more defiance the outcome would have been very difference, and if I showed any weakness they would have emptied the 10k on me (and possibly did more to silence me). They quickly left. Nobody came to my resue except at the very end when an old cleaning lady showed up and scorned them.
Okay guys. I know I did a million things wrong but no lectures here. Play safe.

I thought message parlor should be saver than BBS. I was wrong. In the future I will avoid girls with papasan and will not let the girls use the cellphone to ask for help. Also a couple of benjamin is not worth dying for.

7th Floor, Lower Block, China Resources Building, No. 26, Harbor Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong SAR
And file the application, you will have your visa by 4:00 PM. You nee to have your passport and one passport color photograph taken in the last six months.
For safety reason, all applicants and their belongings should go through security check at the entrance of the visa office, and any luggage which is not allowed into the airplane passenger cabin by hand, is not allowed into the office. It is suggested that applicants do not take luggage to the visa office due to the lack of luggage storage service around.
This was accurate as of last week and things can change overnight.

You better talk to a travel agent in whatever country you are in. I've never heard of on the spot visas being issued at HK airport. They still issue visas at Shenzhen entry points for some countries, but significantly NOT for the US...this is part of the ongoing 'visa war' between the US and China. US passports need a visa issued in Hong Kong or overseas. And when you do get your visa, you will discover that the fee, if you have a US passport, is much higher. I have also never hear of a visa exemption for anyone. There used to be special SEZ visas, which allowed you to travel only within that SEZ, and not to the rest of China, but Americans, at least, now need a full China visa to go to SZ or anywhere else in the PRC.
Be careful. If you screw up, they will make you life miserable for a couple of hours and then send you back to HK on the last boat/train/bus.
Also, for US passports, the 6-month multiple entry visa (rem: makes me think of my GF in SZ!) is now HK 1280.00, or USD 165.00.To all members,
Don't take chance and waste time always get your China visa in US either from a travel agency or from China consulate, why spend time in China and all the headache come prepare most agent in san francisco only charge 65 usd for a single entry visa that only a 15 usd service charge.

This is highly unusual. May I ask if you (SZphoenix) are a laowai? It's almost unheard of for this to happen to foreigners, as incidents involving laowai are always investigated far more thoroughly by the gong an than things which happen to locals, HK people, or overseas Chinese. I'm just telling it like it is, not being bigotted, by the way. You could have claimed you were beaten up in the dental clinic...

After a couple of pass I was about to give up when I saw a very pretty girl sitting by the door of a message parlor. The message parlor is next to a dental office, which itself was used to be a message parlor. From past experience the pricing structure at those message parlors is usually $90 for the room (which can be negotiated down to $70), and $150 for the girl. Some girls will asked for $200 if the price was not negotiated before hand. Usually if you want FS then the full amount (room and tip) is 400. 600 RMB or so. In the main massage places in Shekou it's on the higher side. (But I've found a few places with lower prices, but the quality is inconsistent.) Other parts of Shenzhen are cheaper. So who knows?

ShaZui is notoriously cheap (and sleazy). It's where the cheap Hongkies go. A "sauna" session there is just a room with a girl, nothing sauna about it. I have always paid 100 rmb for the room, 200 for the girl. Apparently this can be negotiated a bit as per Szphoenix's report.
A few weeks ago, another guy took me to his favourite place in XiaSha (a few km west of ShaZui). The deal in that place was 350 rmb for the room and girl (inclusive). You get 90 minutes, 2 shots. 1st shot was BBBJCIM, and it was a nice long BJ. But 90 minutes was too short for me to queeze the second shot in, girl had an attitude too so that didn't help.
The other guy reported the same about his girl, attitude problem too. We were presented with 1 lineup of 7 girls, 4-5 in looks. The rooms were much cleaner than your typical BBS rooms. So, yeah cheap (by Shenzhen standards) but you get what you pay for.
BTW, one factor contributing to the heavy-handed treatment in Szphoenix's case may be the fact that the girl and the thugs thought he was just going to pay what he thought was fair and then just leave. In a case like this, I always seek out the manager/mommy. If I am in the room with girl, I will tell her that I am going to talk to the manager. This has 2 advantages;
1) You will be talking to the manager in the lobby or some public place out in the open
2) The manager will appreciate the fact that you are not trying to run off (or appear to do so)
Mind you, usually the manager will insist on payment anyway, but it avoids getting the thugs involved.

-CPEActually, it isn't "cie" or "xie". That character is "si" or possibly "sai" (both first tone), depending on the use. It means "to think or ponder". So basically, it's "Si Si" which literally translated means "think think" or "thoughtful".
"xie xie", which means "thank you" uses the falling fourth tone and a second relatively neutral tone.
If you know Japanese, the character is the one used for the verb "omou" or "omoimasu", which also means "to think".

I have been using an online proxy server located at http://www.ievi.net/ whenever the China Net Nannies get too aggressive. Seems to work everytime. Just go to their website, type in the ISG website address and you should have no problem.

I had similar problems with ISG access from Shenzhen at about the same time; had to use a proxy, but could only read reports. Access is normal now, but a couple of non-pornographic forums I go to have become accessible only by proxy.
Wow, quite the bun fight here. I'm going to risk a (slightly) off-topic post. Not that it isn't about Shenzhen, but it's not about mongering. I mean, you can't be banging BBS girls all the time. You need to refuel.
Try out the Teppanyaki place at Jusco/Citic plaza. It's downstairs from the South-east Entrance, next to the Brazilian BBQ chain restaurant. For 150 RMB, you get all you can eat, and all you can drink (sake and beer, at least). Grab a menu, point to the first page for the deal, then start picking out dishes. In theory, there's a time limit, but they're not in a hurry to kick you out. Keep ordering things until you're sated. Relatively expensive for China, but highly recommended.
Sadly, the BBS scene behind Citic is still dead. The saunas are still there, but the alleys are empty. However, "Seibu". The residential/commercial area behind the Seibu store, which across from the Panglin Hilton, was really active tonight. More girls than I recall seeing back of Citic, and it was pretty clean.
BUT, as far as I can tell, most of these type areas have plenty of working girls. If you're new to SZ, find an area with those six-story apartment blocks built around a pedestrian main street. Look down the side alleys for purple lights or barber poles. Quality varies, as does selection, but prices are always 200 or less.
Went back to Sha Tsui at about 5pm and there are definitely a fair number of SWs floating around. I let a mommie take me upstairs to a 3rd floor apartment to be shown some girls can be had for 140 ST. Left after being shown 4 (wasn't easy) as they weren't as good looking as the best from Seibu additionally I was gonna meet up with a friend later to show him Seibu. Well what with prior shut downs plus the girls dodging around fearful of another possible closure (girls were doing disappearing acts). Queen Spa in Luohu is one of the better saunas in Shenzhen. I don't have their address at the moment, but it's very close to the whole Seibu, Panglin, Guo Mao, area. Just ask somebody the location of "Huang shi jia qi," everyone knows where it is.

Actually knew that but I don't think there is a country called Hmong, it is an ethnic race. And those guys that called him a gook didn't ask exactly which part of the Golden Triange he was from.
Didn't think I needed to be too factually correct for the "friendly" banter here.
Just returned from a trip to ShenZhen and used the V bar for convenience. Apparently, there's about 6-10 girls working the bar. All paying a monthly access fee to the guards and service people. From what the girls describe, its a pretty hefty fee, in the neighborhood of several thousand RMBs per month. The girls were all between 25 and 35. All very experienced. There was one especially tall girl about 5-10.
The prices for massage is usually 300RMB with the usual up sell to other services. They will settle for 100RMB for an hour but the massage is pretty crappy. ST services quotes range from 1000-2000 but most will take 600-800. LT is dependent on the girl and I was quoted 2500-4000. Didn't do LT, too much work the following day. I know it's high but the convenience is nice.
If you really want a massage, pass on the girls at the V bar, and go to the massage places about 1KM behind the hotel. They do a legitimate massage, they're good and cheap.
There are also touts and girls working in front of the hotel. Not as many as before due to it being winter. Prices were 600+ but is negotiable. Didn't get to try this option, no time.

Try out the Teppanyaki place at Jusco/Citic plaza. It's downstairs from the South-east Entrance, next to the Brazilian BBQ chain restaurant. For 150 RMB, you get all you can eat, and all you can drink (sake and beer, at least). Grab a menu, point to the first page for the deal, then start picking out dishes. In theory, there's a time limit, but they're not in a hurry to kick you out. Keep ordering things until you're sated. Relatively expensive for China, but highly recommended..There is a place in SeaWorld (Shekou) with this same deal. It's in the line of Japanese restaurants near the Ship. The one with the 150 RMB everything is the last shop located directly across from the new bar called Enigma. This is the same line of bars where Casablanca and Gypsies are located.
It's really a great deal on all-you-can-eat-and-drink Japanese Teppanyaki.

I crossed over from Hong Kong on the weekend via the footbridge in Futian. Some notes and observations.
There are two crossings in Futian. One is "Huanggang KhoAn" and the other is "Futian KhoAn". The HuangGang crossing is by car/bus and is open 24 hours. The Futian crossing is by foot and has a KCR-East train station on the Hong Kong side. The Futian crossing closes at 12:30 PM. Also the Shenzhen Metro (line 4) stops at the Futian Crossing. This is quite convenient from LoHu or other parts of Futian and Nanshan.
Near the Futian Crossing there are TONS of "Leisure Centers" and "Heath Centers" which usually means code for FS sauna. There are also a bunch of KTVs (both large and small). I'm going to check this area out over the next few weeks. The area is called Huanggang Villiage ("HuangGang Cun") and it's about a block or two north of the border along JinTian Road. JinTian road dead-ends at the Futian Metro Station/Border Crossing.
The main locater to use is the corner of JinTian road and FuMin Road. At the northwest corner is a Hotel 283 (or was it 238? ) and written in Big Neon Letters, in English, is "Huanggang Village". So it’s hard to miss. LOL This is at the North end of the zone. (FuMin road marks the north end of this area.)
I had dinner at the KFC at this corner and just watched the parade of lovelies reporting for work about 7 PM. Just walk back south toward the border and also in the neighborhood to the right (west) and you'll see lot's of places. There is a MacDonald's down a few blocks from this intersection back towards the border. Turn right (west) at that street and there are a couple of small, fun, KTV's along there and a HUGE sauna at the end of the street.
Coming north from the Metro station, exit the station on the left side (west) and just look for the neon signs a couple of blocks away to the North. Walk toward them. This is also the direction where most of the foot traffic is going from the station. When you see the MacDonald’s on your right you can turn in there and poke around in the side streets or keep walking north. There is a Rainbow Café there also and they have good steaks.
Bus K113 from Shekou and Nanshan goes right past the intersection of JinTian and FuMin (it turns from going east on FuMin to going north on JinTian). For reference, Huanggang villiage is just east of the ShaZui area. (By the way, Bus 80 from Shekou goes right past the ShaZui area.)
I haven't been into any of these places yet, but I will let you know if I find a good one.

I am planning a couple days of sighseeing/touristing in Shenzhen with a "potential" who's never been anywhere in China except her hometown and the small town where she's working at now. A regular, NON P4P, white collar worker who's agreed to come down to Shenzhen to spend a couple days with me.
I figure that I would take her to Windows of the World and Happy Valley as a start, take her shopping first at dongmen (yes - buy her cheap stuff) and then to King Glory where hopefully she's gonna balk at the prices - we'll see - or rather I'd want to see her reaction/allow me to figure her out a bit better. And the perhaps Luohu shopping center.
First question I have is where we should be staying at ? I had figured the Regency Hotel at Po On rd North (Bao An Beilu) - not too expensive and yet not too cheap - where I can get a newly decorated executive room on the business 8/9th floor at RMB320. Anybody got better week-end rates here? Anybody got a better hotel suggestion?
I've only got 2 days and thus its probably already quite action packed - but that's the reason for the questions here - probably too action packed for me to be able to get into her pants! Any suggestions for a more romantic itinerary?
Like where to take her for romantic dinners instead of plopping at some stall exhausted from all the activities? Specifically take her for nice lunches or high tea at some nice place instead of "grabbing something" in the middle of shopping. A couple of corrections if I may on Sukhumvitter's report.
The correct pinyin is "Kouan."
The area with the tons of massage places is actually Shui Wei Cun and I've written about it many times. Do a search for Shui Wei and you'll see reports going back a couple years. Huanggang Cun really doesn't have as many as Shui Wei. The easiest way to get to the place is on the subway. It's on the "Fumin" Station on Line 4. I've been to several of the massage places, at least half a dozen or so. During the daytime, most of them only have HJ available although if you have a regular, they can call her up I'm told. At night, FS is available at about half of them. Going rate is 300RMB tip to the girl for FS. I have to say, the quality of the girls available for HJ only and available for FS differs greatly. The big sauna place you mentioned is called the Oriental Palm. That place is all legit and a pretty good sauna. I recently got one of those stone massages there and it was very nice.
BTW, nighttime around 8-9PM is when the area really gets going. There are still a few small KTVs/bars open and the girls mostly gypsy and go from place to place where there's action. At the KTV/bars, the going rate is 2-5-7. Don't pay 1000RMB like OWL.

My question would be. Can I make sure that the seibu BBS is behind Seibu Department Store?
And that the Seibu Department store is across the road from Panglin Hotel?

I would suggest dining at Japan Fusion Restaurant, it's different then the Chinese standard fare and a bit exotic. Located very close to this hotel.

Then you must be talking about me, since I give OWL the second hardest time. Yeah, 2 year newbie to the mongering scene in China but many years mongering in Europe before I even found ISG. I would also recommend the Marco Polo in Futian, a little expensive but brand new and worth it, with good restaurants at the hotel and more restaurants, bars and shopping just a block away. Or the Kempinski hotel in Shekou with a new shopping mall across the street and closer to Windows of the World.

Well... if she's from a landlocked area, you could take her to the beach in Dameisha for a day. I used to stay at the Airland Hotel a while back and it's an acceptable semi 4 star place. There's a strip near the highway near the port area that has a bunch of seafood restaurants that I remember being pretty good a few years ago. I used to go over there and eat like half a dozen crabs everyday for lunch.
Another thing of interest might be that aircraft carrier they got parked in Shatoujiao. They have shows and stuff there too in addition to the big boat and ancient Soviet era planes.
If you plan to take her shopping at a mall or something, I think the MixC has the most stuff to look at. They even have an ice skating rink on the 4th floor so you can waste a couple hours doing that. There's a decent Korean restaurant on the 5th floor. If you want a really nice meal, there's a Prince Restaurant there too.
You can also go look out the top of the Diwang Building. I haven't done it yet, but touristy people love that kind of thing. If she likes to look at gadgets, you can head over to the SEG plaza. There's also a nice Haagen Dazs there if you need a break from the walking.
If you want to take her to a nice bar with very few WGs, True Colors on Dongyuan Lu is pretty good. When I was there last, they had a pretty good band on the lower level. If you really want to impress her though, take her to Club Chocolate in Dongmen. That place is just too cool and I've never seen anything like it before.

First of all, Shennan Road is HUGE. It goes from Luohu all the way to Nanshan. It would take an hour by car to go from one end to the other. If you're staying near Dongmen, you could walk to Seibu... but it'll be a long walk.

At night, FS is available at about half of them. Going rate is 300RMB tip to the girl for FS. I have to say, the quality of the girls available for HJ only and available for FS differs greatly. The big sauna place you mentioned is called the Oriental Palm. That place is all legit and a pretty good sauna. I recently got one of those stone massages there and it was very nice.

Can any of your grandmasters help me out here? I'm making a trip down to shenzhen soon. And after reading back 16 pages of post. Information I gather is seibu seems to be the better place to go for BBS (I'm staying at Shennan Road and it seems to be a short walk to Dongmen Road).
My question would be. Can I make sure that the seibu BBS is behind Seibu Department Store?
And that the Seibu Department store is across the road from Panglin Hotel?
Sorry for the dumbass question, . Just never really been to ShenZhen before, and the onlines maps aren't exactly very helpful.

I think you pick it up in front of the Golden Hotel (same side of the road) on Shennan just east of the intersection with Dongmen.
CPexpat knows more about this as he is the one who told me about this bus line.
Or you can just jump in a taxi and say Panglin "Joe-dee-ann" (means "hotel").

If you go down the street that the McDonald's is on, you'll hit the Hawaii Sauna before the end of the street which has the Shangri-La Spa, which is also a legit spa like Oriental Palm. You can get FS at Hawaii Sauna, but you have to tell the lady before hand that's what you want since most people only go for HJ and most likely the girl who comes into your room will only do that. Say something like, "wo yao tebie fuwu," (I want special service) to the manageress. Only reason I recommend this one really is because it's the easiest to get to from the train station and also a bit cleaner than some of the others. To be honest, service is pretty much the same same at all the places. Don't expect the kind of thing you get in DG.
Before the Hawaii Sauna is a smaller place (forgot the name at the moment), that place has some really good foot massage. It's always empty, but the foot massage girls do a really good job. Probably at night it gets busier with all the HK guys coming to stay over night and stuff. Across the street is a hair salon called G&L IIRC. You can get pretty good head massage there. If you like that Japanese all you can eat thing, there's one near the KFC you previously mentioned. Lol, I said that about the Lucky Hotel and at the time it was a better deal than the rack rate. Since my wingman and I were staying there every wekend, I had my manager negotiate a better price for us. If you or Joe Schmo can beat it, then more power to ya, but I didn't see you offering to help anyone.
FYI: My company is in the travel business and we do get corp rates at hotels to include several in SZ, DG and GZ. I never said mine is the best deal, nor do I make any money off helping others, I just offered to help some friends beat the advertised price.
Also, since we are on the subject, we all know OWL overpayed his last time here, many of us have been trying to tell others not to overpay, but you are right, it's their money and they can do whatever they feel like with it. He has this strange desire to self promote himself and glamorize his experiences and since he is a member he has the right too, but I also have the right to respond to his posts.
You and I know each other from GeoExpat, you know I posted a lot there also. I am on a computer 90% of my business day, so yeah, I am active on quite a few forums. Considering I do live here, I know my way around more than the average sex tourist, so if I can shed some light on the mongering scene I try to add my inputs.

last sunday the le and army goons took to destroying all the bbs behind seibu. they loaded up all the furniture from the shops smashed windows and wrecked every shop. by tuesday its still scarce with 10-15 girls standing on corners compared to the 400 on sunday arvo before the crackdown.
they all now hang out on the corner opposite the seibu store and have around 50 touts hassling you when you pass by. tuesday night i was there at 2am and two le on bikes ran right into the crowd of girls and you should have seen them rep001ter and run like crazy, the le did nothing but just scared the crap out of the girls for fun...

so, it was a friday afternoon (about 5pm) and i rushed out of work to jump into a taxi to take me to either of the above 2 places. it took me ages to get a taxi and when i finally did, the driver said that he couldn’t take me to these places. my cantonese and his mandarin wasn’t working out so i jumped out of the taxi and got another one – same bloody story! what is it with these taxi drivers refusing to take me to these places? could it be they’re about to finish their shift and didn’t want to drive me? or was it too far or too short a distance for them to travel? i was in the futian district already. damn! anyway, to cut a long story short, i ended up in my 3rd taxi and again he refused to go so i just told him to take me bading street where i ended up frustrated in a sauna around that area. not exactly what i was planning but it was nearly 6pm and i was running out of time...

Don't know about the Lucky Hotel but like I said I don't have the need to call you on every post and on the whole when you "report" the stuffs worth reading.
Not really interested in CP as I find its same shit, different location. Since you're near Siebu, maybe we'll meet one day and sit in the window seat in Jimmy's to watch the action go by. I don't have a big desire to meet with other mongers as when the egos come out the gals are always prettier, cheaper, better,... and I got guys that hang with me where I am the newbie, better to be a tourist along for the ride that the tour guide. I know this restaurant from Shekou where I arrived last week. It is near this ship but I have not checked it out. I found also one yesterday at Dongguan/Dongcheng at the 13 bowls area. Same service 150 RMB all-you-can-eat including beer and sake
There is a place in SeaWorld (Shekou) with this same deal. It's in the line of Japanese restaurants near the Ship. The one with the 150 RMB everything is the last shop located directly across from the new bar called Enigma. This is the same line of bars where Casablanca and Gypsies are located.
It's really a great deal on all-you-can-eat-and-drink Japanese Teppanyaki.

First of all, Shennan Road is HUGE. It goes from Luohu all the way to Nanshan. It would take an hour by car to go from one end to the other. If you're staying near Dongmen, you could walk to Seibu... but it'll be a long walk.
