Wow, you are in for an experience. If you have never been to Asia you must visit Pattaya, Thailand, if you can. Check out the forum, one of the most active on ISG. If you have the option, this is a no-brainer (unless you have a taste for Filipinas, in which case a trip to Angeles City, Phils, would be in order). For Bangkok you're looking at a two hour flight from Hong Kong (Emirates and Ethiopian seem to offer the best rates, $230-$280 USD; downside is their flights arrive late at night (nearly midnight by the time you clear customs; plus another 90 minutes taxi to Pattaya). But you get a decent beach (even in Patts, which is the pitts by Thai beach standards, but good enough) and, um, sex heaven, straight-forward, no-nonsense be. S. (now, then again, some might like the bar-talk / dancing to a Phiipino bar band buildup) like you will have to deal with with the freelancers in the HK Wan Chai bars. In Bangkok and Pattaya you get to ogle what's on offer. You simply can't get that in Hong Kong. If you are limited for time, Macau is fine, though a pricey option, geared toward saunas.

I will be in HKG for couple days at the end of NOV. It will be my first time in Asia. I will have few more days to stay and enjoy and I am not sure if I should stay in HKG or head to BKK. I will be passing though HK this Saturday for a two night stopover. I've been to HK several times before but this time wouldn't mind trying the Wanchai LT scene. As I don't have much time I want to be informed and prepared. I have RTTF and have a good idea what to do and expect but I still am having trouble getting around a couple of things which I hope my fellow mongerers can advise on appropriate etiquettes.
1. Which is the best pub to pick up pretty indo, Chinese, Vietnames or African girls and what is the best time?
2. How can you tell which ladies are in the game? Do you look at them in certain way or do they approach you?
3. I assume you have to but the ladies drinks while you talk to them. Are the drinks expensive or bar prices? Should you buy the lady's friends drinks too or just the one you are interested? How many drinks are reasonable before you negotiate a price and leave?
4. What are appropriate LT and ST prices for lookers? Does it vary according to nationality?
5. After closing the deal do you just catch a cab back to the hotel? (I will be staying in MongKok).
Sorry with the questions but I won't have time this time round to learn the ropes by staying a few nights.

If you been watching the Real estate price in HK the last few year you should know the answer, Hong Kong hotel is one fo the highest in Asia, if you want to stay here cheap there are many hostel in TST but still cost you 300 hkd for a tiny room, I don't even stay in HK anymore just go across the border to Shenzhen or go to Macau 200 hkd you can stay at the new Galaxy resort.

I am new to the HK board, but I have been reading the Philippines board avidly for a while. In the last few days, I have been reading here that DIA is a great way to met ladies from the Phils and Indonesia who live in Hong Kong, and even to meet Chinese ladies.
Is there anyone with experience in both locations who can tell me if DIA is a reliable way to meet non-pros / semi pros in Hong Kong? And, what the differences are between finding a fuckmate in Hong Kong vs Manila? Should I concentrate on pinays? Or, are all of the girls potentially worth getting to know?

For some reason Hong Kong hotel prices have gone through the roof. I got a good deal for 800 Hong Kong in Wanchai all inclusive through priceline in Oct.
Hotels are much cheaper in Shenzhen, China 45 minutes away by train and as good a mongering place as any with better girls and prices.

You either love it or hate it. As for me, I think it is great. Went down about 11. 30pm on Monday. First stop Joe Bananas. Busy and a few known faces from the last time I was there but I was only window shopping. Walked through Escape to go to Neptune 111. It was fairly busy for a Monday night but mainly guys. Neptune 111 was busier than I expected with plenty girls available and making their presence felt. Monica from last March comes up and right away I am no longer window shopping but she has a customer. She makes it obvious she will be up for it with me. I collect a few phone numbers and leave, headed for Neptune 11. The streets are busy and plenty talent around. I get talking to a Filipina girl. 26 years of age, who is sitting at the bar. She is cute, nice face and "looks good". We soon hit it off and now I buy her a drink. I like the idea that she has not asked me, unlike I may add the vultures in Neptune 111. We soon do the business and she is happy to say to me "Its up to you" when we talk pricing. I agree $1000 LT and she is happy. What's all this about hefty costs in previous reports?

Has to be totally GF as the reception is on the 7th floor and you get an elevator from the ground floor straight to your own floor, by-passing the reception.
Hopefully more to follow but Monica is on my radar for this pm. At $500, a good bargain!

Great! I am happy for you Jack. Our price points of 1K is most likely had with the independent Filipinas. Most of them who are managed insist on 1. 5K and up. Let's hope that the rest of your forays into Wanchai yield you the same results. I think the time of the night when you shop makes a difference as well.
Good for you for securing Monica for an afternoon punt. I've tried arranging these before, but the girls oftentimes have had such late nights that they are still fast asleep at 5pm.

Even though I'm moving to HK in early January, I'm going to need to stay in a hotel for a few weeks while I look for a serviced apartment. I will most likely stay at the Charterhouse. They gave me a long term rate of about $135 USD. That's a bit higher than they usually charge me.
Jack, glad to see you are back in action and reporting on the scene. I figure I will hit that area near New Year's before I get down to work in HK. I try to stay under $1500 LT and have had some amazing bargains at a bit less than that in 2010.

Tuesday night and I'm late through some business having held me back. It is nearly midnight when I meet a freind in Joe Bananas and I have "had a few" as they say in my part of the world. Full of Thais again.

No report for Wednesday as I am still knackered from Tuesday's exploits and decide to have a sex and alcoholic free day. I'm in bed by 10. 30pm. The plus side is also a saving of about $1500.
I venture into Wan Chai on Thursday night about 9. 00pm. The navy is in town and making their presence known. The streets are packed and it is a problem even walking along Lockart Road. First port of call was Joe Bananas. Half empty and very few girls around.
A quick pint and it is on to Neptune 11. Busy but not a lot of navy around. My Monday night conquest sees me and comes over, and I for some reason think that the navy might reduce the possibility of a later conquest so decide she is worth another go. We are back to the hotel in no time and pay a visit to the Karaoke bar on the top floor of the building. It is empty but really plush and comfortable, She gets up to sing and boy, can she belt it out. Amazing. An hour or so spent there was good fun and she looked in the mood. Down to the room and then downhill from there. She was too interested in asking me to take her to Macao on her visa trip etc etc. A quick bang and that was it. In my part of the world, when you work on a Sunday, you get paid double time. It seems this practice has spread to Wan Chai.

Cut a short story shorter, I have arranged to meet Donna from last night in Amazonia. She is not there and the place is busy. A text from her indicates she is in Traffic where I head. If the going rate is now 2000hk for ST, I think I am better off with 141 hotel reservation girls. I believe you can still get a Japanese pretty for 1500hk to 1800hk, and mainland Chinese girls for 700hk to 900hk. Last year there were plenty of fairly attractive Chinese FL's available on Mody street for 500hk to 700hk. I hope that scene is still happening. And of course there is still 37 Dundas. But Hong Kong is getting way too expensive. This may be my last visit. I hope not, but there are alternatives for entry into Asia. It has stopped raining so I make my way to Amazonia right on 11. 00pm. It is packed and the ratio of girls / men is good so it should be a buyers market, Maybe 2 girls for every guy. Getting ready for my move to HK in a few months. While I have budgeted enough to enjoy at least one night in Wanchai per week. And Sundays too!. I'm getting nervous about the prices. Just sounds ridiculous. (Though JacktheLad's reports are always a welcomed voice of reason. Thanks Jack!) I noticed a slight increase last Christmas and New Year's but only one stunner quoted me $3000 LT and she was GORGEOUS but I met her in Joe Banana's or a similar place I didn't usually frequent. She was Thai and dressed in a way that you could have taken her to any function with no one aware she was a WG.
Anyway, this pic is the girl I got last New Year's Eve. She was great but she promised LT for $1500 and then wanted to leave after. When I got mad, she gave me all my money back (!) because she didn't want me to be mad at her! I gave her half of it. A fair amount for ST. And she left. Her attitude wasn't great. Esp for an Indonesian girl. But the sex was.

I never paid over $1000 LT and have just finished my final 2 hour session for $600. Neptune 111 may be your best bet and if you are not too fussy you will get anyone out of Borocay for $1000 or less.

Thanks for the updates Jackthelad. Your spending limits for ST and LT are reasonable, and I hope it helps others learn there is no need to overspend. My budget is generally 1000HKD for long term. During chatting the girls learn that I am not new to Wan Chai, and I don't mind buying a couple of drinks before and after the deal is made.

With great regret I would like to inform you that Neptune II in Wanchai is a racist bar. Any Asian who wanted to enter the bar was charged 150. 200 HKD and this did not include any drink. All whites were given free entrance. I appeal to all, irrespective of their race to boycott this bar. Let us bring some sense of humanity in them. The bouncers too were playing dirty. I am not against anyone personally but the system. Let us put an end to all this crap. Thailand is much better.
Obviously I will not be in a position to monitor the response as I am flying to Dubai from Colombo and there I cannot access ISG though many are able to do it.

I am Indonesian and get charged to enter bars in Jakarta and Bali. But white guys / Asiana / Blacks get free entry. Go figure!
I understand your disappointment but it has been posted on numerous occasions that Asian men may be charged to enter a bar. Anf to clarify even further. This doesnn't apply to all Asian men. Once you have been a few times and have been spending money. You will probably get free entry.
These rules are in place for two reasons.
1) Too make sure that customers spend money. Experience is that some groups of men spend little or no money. Have white friends who are barred from some Wanchai Bars because they refuse to buy a drink.
2) Working girls have a distinct preference for caucasian men. So these rules are partly at the whim of W / L's.
Comment about Jack not consuming the A Grade meat.
Think it depends on whether you want to eat quickly or feel every morsel of food digest slowly through your stomach.

The 2nd assistant manager at Neptune II is a personal friend of mine and a reasonable guy. Your variables are much the same as mine. It is a problem sometimes trying to talk to new prospects and that's why I vary the bars I go to but you usually gravitate back to your favourites. At least now if I indicate to the Mamasan in Neptune 111 that I just want a quiet drink for a while she can keep the vultures at bay. But only for a short time.

I am on that bandwagon as well. I haven't been to Wanchai in a number of months due to the fact that the hotel prices have gone up so much and I am too cheap to pay two sessions pricing for a hotel. I miss the "scene" in HK a lot and always enjoy the the fact that the girls take a little time to make themselves pretty. I, too tend to gravitate to places where I have had previous success, and I think it pays to show some appreciation to the staff for their help.
I think I know that maybe I have been at this too long, I was in a "club" in Shanghai, when in walks this beautiful Viet gal. She took one look at me and we both smiled and knew the night's plans had been made. She was the first Viet I ever had, and I met her in Fenwick three years ago. It is a small world! I am on that bandwagon as well. I haven't been to Wanchai in a number of months due to the fact that the hotel prices have gone up so much and I am too cheap to pay two sessions pricing for a hotel.
SkyIf it helps, I just paid $625 a night for a superior room at the JJ Hotel in Wan Chai Road. Good value although the rooms are cold due to the A / C. So you need someone to keep you warm at night.

Went to the bars in wanchai, and found this little indonesian domestic helper. She was not the most pretty in there, but she had a smile to die for.
She was 1, 60 m tall, slim, be cups (without bra a bit hanging). Very friendly attitude, so I took her to my nearby hotel.
She did a good job, and after one hour I asked her if short time is ok, and she agreed to go home.
I just gave her 500 hkd + 100 hkd for taxi, which she happily accepted, with big smile in her face.
I was happy, and I really cannot understand that people still pay 2000 for a short time lady, as in so many reports.

Kool with regards racism it is not the type of racism to which you refer. What you will find though is that virtually everyone in Wanchai bars are not indigenous to HK, including the bar staff and bouncers, the hookers and the punters. English is the main language and it is a time to get away from China and Cantonese. I could not not go to a Chinese club and do not expect to see them in ours. The Navy just get in the way and it is quite right that they should be charged entrance no matter what "race" they are. There are clubs in New York that I wouldn't get into too, is that racism or just because I wouldn't fit in?

Who cares what Chantik looks like? Or whether the poster is really a man or a woman.
Based on my 5 trips to HK and multiple, many visits to Wanchai, the information provided in her posts matches my limited experience.
It also matches things I've been told by girls who frequent the bars there.
I welcome his/her posts.
I always get the impression that there are, essentially. 3 versions of Wanchai:
1) this is the world where the guys in suits, or sailors, roll into town for a few days, find the hottest and most provocatively dressed gals and look to have the most excitement quickly without too much care about cost.
2) people like myself, and JacktheLad and a few other posters, who may be frequent visitors and / or locals who enjoy Wanchai and make connections with the gals there. We're the sort who maybe don't' pick the most obvious gals and we tend to get (most of the time) ripped off less often and get (at least in Jack's case) a better value if you want to be crass about it.
3) these are the people (locals probably) who enjoy Wanchai as a fun area to hang out in and go drinking in. They are not necessarily the sort to pick up girls there but they like the vibe of the area and hang out there, maybe at The Wanch or Amazonia just to hear music.
But, to most outward appearances, that world of 1 is what Wanchai looks like to newbies or outsiders.

You've got to love Hong Kong nights in November. At this time of the year, you can party outside without the sauna factor and your boxer shorts stay dry. The frigid, snow laden winds from Mongolia are nowhere to be seen and short skirts are still practical. I'm aware of this as I wake from my afternoon nap without the usual pool of sweat that I am accustomed to. Sweat or not, its shower time followed by trimming in appropriate areas. Its a special night tonight, so presentation is more relevant than usual.
Cleaned up and wearing fresh linen, I am the classic thirty-something 'gweilo' working in Hong Kong, lightly freckled and still optimistic about the state of the world.
If you were to ask me what I do here, the simple, (and honest) , answer would be that I don't actually know. Most days excepting holidays, I occupy a desk for a few hours a day, join my colleagues for a long lunch, then usually get home by 1 pm. In return, a large amount of money is transferred into my bank account each month, an arrangement which suits me and keeps me in the manner I am accustomed to.
Closing the door to my apartment on the way out, I am greeted by Maydel, the winsome DH who lives with the Chinese family next door. I love the way she rolls the 'are' of 'sir' in her smile filled Hello. She is a simple girl who loves nothing better than to cook for me most Sundays and attend to my needs which are many. Living close the MTR station has its advantages, although I prefer not to use the disease incubator styled trains unless there are no better options. Tonight as usual, most passengers are sleeping while standing. In a kind of soporific daze, while I on the other hand, keep an eye out for touts and pick pockets. I find myself gazing at the couple across the aisle and realize its one of those awful Indonesian 'partnerships' where one girl makes herself as squat and ugly as possible, while the other ends up looking half decent. I have little time for these 'lesbians of convenience' and judging by the looks of several passengers, my sentiment is shared. I am reminded of Oscar The Grouch babysitting Katy Perry as I give them a last glance and leave the train.
I exit close to the fragrant harbor in an area notorious for several things, including drunk sailors and sardonic expats with ego's matched only by the size of their wallets. Some of them I actually work with, but there is no recognition.
On another occasion I might stop and join them for a few cold ales, but tonight is different, I have a rendezvous to keep and time is short.

I love HK but there's something disturbing about the local Chinese treating the DHs like slaves, never mind that most Filipinos may have had some college back home, and never mind that both Filipinos and Indonesians usually speak better English than some of the poorer locals.

I am Chinese American and it is a constant struggle not only in Win Chai, but even in Beijing and Shanghai. WGs all prefers whites and want to avoid Chinese men. This does not apply when it is not a bar setting, like a sauna or KTV, or even outcalls, and in those venues, Asian male is often prefered.
Well, it is a bit of extra work, so I usually just make sure I have my US driver license with me plus a few US credit cards and so far, those things are good enough for all the situation that I have encountered; except that time when I was prevented from entering Amazonia, being told that place was for members only, WTF, and they actually have this small plate prepared on the entrance wall exactly for this execuse to exclude people they deemed not worthy of entering their place, where I actually usually out spend most white guys.

Being Indonesian we don't think much of Chinese people. Then again we don't treat them well in Indonesia. Not giving them Chinese / Indo's full residency right.

It actually does not bother me much as I have seen it everywhere all the time. I actually want to take my time in the bar, to feel the girl, to dance with her, to buy more drinks and get both of us slightly drunk, which will usually lead to much better session later on, hahaha. It did become a problem for me, but only once, in Wan Chai, when a Viet girl suddenly left after a few drinks without giving me a reason, and later that night another girl told me she was very worried that I was a cop, as I looked like one, being really fit and such. Anyone thinking of visiting Hong Kong must know a few things when planning your visit:
There may be bigger weasels in the world, but I haven't encountered them. When it comes to money, expect the locals at all levels to try to get as much as possible from you. Maybe they think they are being clever, but just like all weasels, they are just being short-sighted greedy weasels. Hotel prices change by the minute as do the services to which they agreed. The money exchange places, which are everywhere, routinely insult your intelligence by posting absurdly low rates. Think that I don't get that the "culture" is all about bargaining? Trust me, I get it. I have negotiated many multi-million dollar deals. These people are not negotiators, they are just conniving weasels.
Hotels: Book early and check multiple sites including the hotel's. Be aware of cancelation policies. Know what room type you booked and what is included, for example free breakfast or free internet. If they can screw you out of something, they will. Be wary of upselling. Get what you paid for and stand your ground. One site used by many in HK is www.agoda.com.
Exchanging money: Know the official rate by visiting www.xe.com. Exchange only as much as you need at the airport. Exchange places are everywhere. Go to several of them and offer to pay the official rate. The official rate now is about 7.8. Most places were displaying 7.1 which quickly went to 7.6 when I scoffed at that. I ended up getting very close to the official rate from a couple of places.
Massage places and guys trying to sell you suits and watches are everywhere. Read the various forums and plan ahead. This is one city where you can lose your ass if you don't.
Actually Indonesians get on very well with Thais and Japanese. Big dislike of Malaysians and Singaporeans.There's a lot of hostility between the Indonesians and Filipinas; I have noticed very nasty glares from Indonesians at Filipinas I have escorted in "their territory" of Causeway Bay (Filipinas dare not enter Victoria Park). Their stories are second hand but I do not have any reason to doubt them as the transports (contractor / delivery van or compact cars) and setup are often there.
