Unless you are dating them and in a mutually gratifying (gift giving) relationship you should give them money. Its as simple as that.I got to say that I don't agree with you. I stayed only short time, recall there were 2-hour and 3-hour options. It is my only experience with a short time hotel, but having RTFF it seems to be on the nicer end of the spectrum. Waiting in line for the taxi is like waiting in line at Disneyland, holding an "E" ticket (yes, this shows my age) {translation for some. Back to the Eden, do note I booked a Superior Room and not a Deluxe room; was scared of a Deluxe (bottom tier) room because I once stayed for a week at Mingle on the Wing in either a Lite or Single room and it was bad really bad. Would like to try the VIP or Super-VIP at Eden sometime don't know price because need to call for price of those rooms (were booked when I was at Eden, and did not think to ask about price).

There are so many bars closed or under construction in Wanchai now: Spicy Fingers, Delaney's, Boracay, Old China, the place next to Old China that has been empty for ages. I have heard stories of landlords raising prices till the bars were not viable, or a few wealthy companies cornering the market either one the real estate or on the bar business. The stories are never quite clear. Anyone know the story about what is going on?OCH has been bought by the operators of QV. Will be called Churchills though waiting for a liquor licence. Guess it will be different to QV.

If any of you have been in Dubai before, then something like Cavalli Club, Cirque de Soir or Provocateur. These are the best and hottest night clubs in Dubai with VIP private tables. These places you either bring your own girls, or find some upscale WG who are always there in big numbers.

More Pinays than before but quality was not to my taste nor prices or attitude. When I nicely declined the offer of one lady she stormed off and out of Makati. I mean, really? In contrast when I asked another lady from the same country to leave after one pop she was happy with the ST fee. No drama, it was just no fun for either of us so why continue? But I found the SP rather aggressive this time. HK Cafe seems the place to go but the younger and nicer ladies seem to prefer party with younger guys. So no luck for me.
As also 141 is getting really bad and unreliable (price on the Internet 500, in the room 700) I am not sure HK is still a good place for our money IMHO.

In my eagerness to re-acquaint myself with the hot spots of Wan Chai, I meandered down towards the bars about 9. 30 pm. Too early I know. Its only 6 months since my last visit but how things have changed dramatically. Several well-known and previously busy bars now closed – renovation work going on and, more importantly, a distinct lack of talent.
First stop Joe Bananas. Heaving but it seems to be attracting a different clientele. Called in at Neptune111 – surprisingly busy and lots of girls plying their trade and looking, as usual, for ladies drinks. Some of them are like magnets drawn to you but I always refuse if asked to buy a drink. A rather attractive Philippine "visitor" sits next to me and starts up a conversation. After about 10 minutes I buy her a drink on the basis she has not asked for one and I get her digits as it is too early to make a commitment. $160 for a margarita!
I excuse myself with a promise I will return (I hate lying to them) and call into Insiders looking for a girl I met there last year. Only 2 girls in the place. Then on to NM where I meet Miss "E". Carrying a few extra pounds but then again who I am I to comment. For some unknown reason I sus that a good night might be on with her and we quickly agree LT for HK $1000. Back to the hotel about midnight and I was not wrong. Lots of GFE. After a couple of sessions I want her to leave about 3. 30 am as I am jet lagged and she is happy to do so on the basis I see her tonight. The more I visit Wan Chai the more I like NM. Last trip I met a lovely girl there and had a great time with her. Also pulled a lovely Indo / Javanese girl from Hong Kong Cafe that same trip. Hmm, maybe it's just the Indonesian girls I like so much!
Honestly while that is part of it, there's something about the cramped space in NM that I like. Last trip it was pretty quiet in there, hoping the crowds start picking back up before my next trip early in 2016.

At 11.00 pm, I make my way to Wan Chai with a mate I bumped into earlier in the day. First stop is HK Café. Almost empty.
Had a look in Amazonoa. The place has about 90% guys. Not my scene.
Drawn back to Neptune 111 as NM is out of bounds due to last night. (My new friend has sent about 20 texts today wanting to meet me in NM).
Neptune 111 quite busy with lots of girls and we decide to have a quiet beer sitting in the corner minding our own business.
This lasts for about 5 seconds before we are approached by 2 sisters just arrived from Singapore. They were from Manila and had been working in Singapore for 6 months but their visas had expired. Just arrived in HK. Could not get rid of them without being rude so talked to them for a while. Eventually bought them drinks. Well, about 4 each to be honest.

Sorry, not a lot to report.
Work detains me until midnight and involved some "hospitality" that resulted in too much of an intake of alcohol before I ventured to Wan Chai. Streets surprisingly quiet for a Friday night but the usual bars on the main road looked busy.
I must confess to having had "room service" in the afternoon from a DH that I met a year or so ago and with whom I have kept in touch.
She totally drained me so there was no way I could perform twice in a day. Neptune 111 busy again with loads of talent coming and going. The usual suspects were there and making their moves but I clearly indicated that I was off limits and not available for ladies drinks. Rose from last night was particularly pushy, and better dressed, but it was not on. I have a good memory and last night's performance meant she was not on. Her sister looked a better bet.
I meander back to my hotel about 3. 00 am, being accosted all along the road by an increasing number of SW on the prowl, particularly around the MTR.
Saturday was a dead night for me. Along with some business colleagues we visited Neptune111 again about midnight. Place was packed with a wide range of young and not-so-young girls trying their best but quality was certainly missing. No action tonight. Must be getting fussy in my old age.

A busy Sunday work-wise prevented me from sampling some DH delights on their Sunday off so did not make it down to Wan Chai until about 11.30 pm. Looked into Escape. I used to think it was the best place in days gone by when it was Fenwicks. Certainly busy and a different type of girl there. Many elegant, well dressed and good looking girls, not pushy as in Neptune111 and I got the feeling you had to make the first move. Bet they did not come cheap either. Plenty smiling at you as they passed by however and a lot of Vietnamese.
A couple of beers (expensive at $156 for two) and I was off. Streets very quiet so ventured into Neptune 111 where you are immediately pounced upon from all sides. Several very drunk girls as well and not taking an answer. The 2 sisters approached and we had a friendly chat and they were keen to resume acquaintances but I feared a repeat performance so declined.
Several more approaches but you could sense a desperation on their part. Business is not good for a lot of them.
Cut my losses and left for an early night. For research purposes only, I talked to a couple of SW at the MTR but on a closer look at them, they did not look a safe bet. $1000 quoted but were prepared to drop the price. No thanks.
As an American under 40, I just can't get into the Wan Chai bar scene. I will talk with a couple of the girls briefly or even with them on occasion, but buying drinks and flirting with a hooker that I will have to (over) pay for sex seems like a big waste of time to me. Now if it's a non-working girl, then certainly, I do it myself. But when it comes to strictly busting one, I'd rather just pay for sex and get on with it. So that being said, I do prefer walk ups. I do look on the 148,161 sites, but only to find the buildings, not a particular lady. I actually get a kick out of knocking on the door not knowing whom will answer, it adds a little suspense to the experience.

Lost at the races so hoping for better luck with the rides at Wan Chai.
First stop NM. Only a couple of girls there at 11.30 pm. On to Neptune 111. Busy and attacked right away with some of the most persistent girls yet. A bit of a mixture tonight.

Only went to Neptune 111 so don't know about any other place. Arrived about midnight as had been working most of the day and early evening. Interestingly, I got a couple of texts from my "NO" lady from last night asking if I was going to Neptune 111. She does not even have a phone but was using a friend's. No sooner in when she is over. A few WG's around but nothing appeals to me.
Head for HK caf and lo and behold my Philippine friend is there, waiting for me she says. The place is busy and the dance floor packed. Off we go without even another drink and I get her to leave about 10.30 am the next morning as I have work to do. Needless to say I did not get much sleep so all is well that ends well. To be honest I'm totally done in.
I doubt if I will see Crystal again so be warned and careful of her and her cousin Annie who will be in Neptune 111 for the remainder of their stay. Unless of course, you are loaded and keen to help out the less fortunate. I'm working all day Sunday so no opportunity of sampling the DH market.

Last weekend was in Wanchai and seeing the crazy rush to get into makati went to a quieter bar Insiders. Relatively quieter and empty had just a few Fiil's / indo babes. Found 2/3 interesting ones before choosing a Filli who was cheerful, had nice assets and importantly also did not pester me or ask for a drink despite me playing with her for more than a hour. She was happy with my offer off 1500 HK (if satisfied in the morning) else she would take 1000. Very GFE with holding hands as we walked back to Novotel (my stay) giggling, cracking jokes. After a busy day I wander down to Neptune111 with a business colleague about 11.00 pm. Streets and bars look quiet except for the one more or less next to Neptune 111 (can't remember the name). It is packed.
Neptune 111 fairly busy and we order beers. 10 seconds later in come Crystal and her cousin, both looking good. Being the gentleman I am, a round of margaritas is ordered and gratefully received. Crystal seats next to me and after a while Annie is off to find a customer. She soon does and later on disappears out the bar. Crystal and I are getting on well and making arrangements for a visit to Philippines next year. Another offer to see my hotel room is declined – this time she says she is waiting for Annie to return. She does not like the idea of girls going off with punters but it seems to be OK for Annie to do so. You get my drift. I'm having a pleasant time and about 2. 00 am decide time for bed (myself unfortunately). By this time the bar is all but empty. I'm not too bothered as I have had enough horizontal refreshment to last me for a while. We part on the best of terms with a promise from Crystal to contact me and see me on Monday afternoon before I leave for home. She does not have a phone in HK but uses Annie's. The promise was never realised. Now there's a surprise. Annie's phone number is deleted from my list.

Few months ago I bought a ticket on their webstie for tound trip Bangkok - Hong Kong. 3 days ago I got an email from them where they inform me that my flight schedule had been changed. The problem is that they don't wrote my new revised timing nor attach a new e-ticket.
I send to them 3 emails but they never answer me. Tried to login in on their website but is function very bad and I'm unable to manage my booking.
So I have to travel between 11 days and don't know my flight schedule. This morning I called their representative office here in my country but is just a travel agency and they cant check my flight status, so they can only solicit the company via email.
My suggestion to all members is to avoid this company! I travel in Europe with many low cost company but no one have a bad service and lack of info like HK Airlines.

Now there seems to be a Thai nest in Jordan along temple street. From other forums, research indicates 120 HK dollar for short term. Just my cup of tea. But can't figure out which building or any close landmark and these walk up signs in Chinese is a bit confusing. Anyone have any Intel willing go share.

Thanks for the reports, very informative, will spend one night in HK next month and the info helps, from past experiences I really hate neptune 3, it is a high pressure hard core bar for my tastes and patience, and spending us $20 for a drink seems crazy for me. I usually prefer HK cafe, or even escape which I feel is not thta high pressure to buy girls a drink.
I think wanchai is a hit a miss place, mif you are lucky you can find a new phil, indo or vietnam semi pro and have a nice time for a reasonable price or you get the hardcore philipines or Indonesian with all their issues. I avoid colombians as I go to Medellin often and get girls for $50, also avoid africans even though I fine some of them attractive I just don't trust them.

It is the worst of all the bars for pressure to buy ladies drinks. I only go there out of habit really, and Sam the Manager is usually good with us, putting up a few beers now and again. Once you get to know mamasan Pearla, you can also ask her to keep the girls at bay, but at the end of the day it's partly her job as well to extract as much out of you as possible. I have also noticed over the years that it is one of the busier bars in an era when there is a definite drop in numbers around.
Will be staying at the Holiday Inn in early December. I have always enjoyed the scene at Hari's Bar in the Hotel and made some great pickups there. I have heard remours that the number of WG's have decreased due to changes made by management. Can anyone update me on the scene?

Browsing around other areas, I thought I'd contribute some up to date info on Temple Street.
There are mainlander streetwalkers along this stretch of road pretty much all day. I've seen them out as early as 7 am while on my way to work. Usually there are clusters of them towards the far end by the arch near Kansu street. There is also a Circle K around Ning Po St. Where they tend to gather around. They stand around for 15-20 minutes and go back to their rooms for a bit so if you are there and you don't seen girls, just circle around the temple street area once or twice until they return. There are also solo girls walking around you should be able to spot around the area as you walk up and down.
Many of these girls are in and out on two way permits and tourist visas so the quality will vary from week to week and I've spotted a few stunners over the years. If you see one you like approach, make eye contact and flash two fingers indicating price and see where it goes from there. Bargaining usually starts at 200 and depending on the girl she will take anywhere between 200 to 400. Mostly I pay 200,220 and rarely more than 250 but I don't blame the girls for trying to get away with charging far more than that. The service is always the same, they will take you up to a small room nearby or around the corner, once you are in they will either wipe you down with some wet wipes or let you shower alone. The girls will sometimes partially undress or just remove their underwear for a quick and unremarkable pump and dump. They wipe you down again once you are done and it's out the door.
Right on the corner of Woosung and Nanking on the opposite end there is a small 7/11 on the corner, there is a hotel right next to it and mostly during the day and early evening there are two or three chinese girls with a mamasan hanging about, they usually start bargaining at 250 or even higher but try to get it down lower.
There are also Thai girls in rooms that change locations every few months all along Temple st. If you can spot the mamasan sitting on a stool on the bottom of the stairwell, make eye contact and she will ask you up. Locals are charged 150 or so, I've heard some tourists and white people especially paying for a bit more but should not be higher than 250 for a quick 15 minutes. Service with the Thai girls is generally good, quick shower, BJ and sex. Sometimes I pay an extra hundred for a second round, some girls agree and others ask for more.
There are also massage places along this area and on Shanghai St. Parallel to Temple St. Where the girls wait outside hand out flyers. Most of us stay away from them as they are ripoff joints with girls mid 30's to late 40's in slutwear pointing out 168 hkd to 250 hkd massages then once you are up there ask you for an additional one or two hundred for a handjob.

I recently referred to the walk ups as a treasure hunt and last night I struck the mother lode! It was at the Parkes building and she was Thai (from Chiang Mai). Very tall for a Thai gal, spoke some English and had a very nice NATURAL rack. I didn't even have to ask for a BBBJ, she just went to it. She even got me off while being on top; in most cases I'm the one that needs to do all the work in order to obtain that release us mongers cherish. I lived there for a year, and still get back every month. Am back Sat for a week with my bro. I agree it is definitely quieter, has been since Halloween 2014 and the horrible events that occurred. Since then many places quiet, lots of bars closed temporarily or permanently. Don't get me wrong, it is still good, just not so good. Now you can walk into Makati midweek and be one of 5 people in there, or any of the other places. Shame.
Anyway, I don't monger there, freebies are easy to find and I have enough friends there. Be nice to the girls, they will be nice to you. Love your reports Jack.

Have spent 3 nights in Hong Kong, Neptune 3 is full of scammers of the Pilipino variety, crazy bird wanted to charge me to take her clothes off and tell me wouldn't put out as agreed. Could not find any indo girls at all, and thai are thin on the ground, New Makati seems the busiest spot after about 10.00 pm. Sprung a barebacker out of there, wanted $1500 for all nighter. Bit much, but I was missing it.
New Makati the busiest? - My sources tell me NM had around 20 people at Midnight on the last four days. And that includes an invisible mamasung who brings three or 4 Filipina's You are right about Nep 3 aggressive ladies who atract older gents who are happy to have 4 or 5 ladies surrounding them. Reckon Nep 3 does well on drink sales.
Amazonia, Nep 3 and HK Cafe get much bigger crowds than NM. Actually NM has gone back to crowd numbers in the Laguna days. Escape is doing best of all the bars but is around 50% white girls and 50% Asians.
Indo ladies. Also a strong group at makati, usually a couple in Nep 3 and Amazonia. Usually around 10 in HK cafe and 4 to 6 in Escape. Many have disappeared because their refugee status was rejected and a few work online.

Harks back to the long lamented wonder years of the late 2000's, when pimps in the vicinity (apartments a couple blocks away, closer to Nathan Road) would bring customers, Caucasians no problem, upstairs, typically offering one of three or four farm-fresh delicacies. That seems to have been cleaned up, but if anyone's got news I'd love to hear it, too.
Many thanks to everyone who has shared their mongering experiences here, and I would like to add my experience from a recent 3 night visit. First night was in Macau, so I will post on the Macau boards, but needless to say, a very FUN experience in the saunas there!
I stayed at the Wharney Hotel (or "Horny Hotel, as described by a Pinay WG, LOL!) smack dab in the center of Wan Chai, and that was a great choice. Upgraded to the Executive Suite, and got free breakfast, a very good deal.
First experience was the famous Fuji Building, which was just a few blocks down the road. Went there at about 5 PM, and the place was hopping with lots of mongerers checking out each floor.
I made the mistake of knocking on the door, which I was later told was not following protocol, so make sure you ring the bell rather than knock. Lots of good looking ladies, and I was making mental notes and wanted to go back after checking out the available ladies, but upon returning, already missed out of 2 out of 3! The lesson here, get in while you can, otherwise, you might miss out!

I read a lot about Pinay and Indo girls, but for one reason or another, I'm just not that attracted to them. Escape was my favorite, and it had a very strong international flavor, which was nice. Met some Colombians, Russians, Filipinos, Chinese, Mongolians, and even a Turkish lady! Had my eye on a Chinese lady sitting by herself, and made good eye contact. But by the time I walked around the bar and came back, she was already scooped up by another monger, and was heading out the door, LOL! South American and Russian WG all started quoting rates at HK3000 to HK $2500. Definitely lots of eye candy at Escape, and it would be where I would spend more time next time I'm in HK. I will be in HK for a night and was thinking of staying at a sauna / spa that provides service and let's you stay overnight. This could save me the price of a hotel. 25 hours of airports and flying, finally made it into HK around 730 pm tonight. Many thanks to the fellow hobbiests here on this fine site answering questions from sim cards to mongering strategy. Very very helpful for first timer to Honk Kong. Staying right by Jordan station, so decided to drag my tired ass out around 10 pm to get a lay of the land (it's a pun). Hit temple street hoping for a mamason to smack me on the leg and ask this farang boy if he wanted to taste some thai tonight. Didn't happen. Plan be, hit the walk up sites for Jordan. Bit Remiss in not proving some Intel of street action after my walk up activity. Walked temple street and the one adjacent closer to Nathan. I thing it's woodsong. Saw one fat chick and two Africans, the latter seemed a bit spaced out. They didn't have enough money to pay me to frake them. It was the lower area of temple before the market. Same with woodsong. Now, a bit more interesting; there was a cluster of at least 5 at temple where it ends and a big cross road. I think that was Jorden street. I didn't approach as I had just had my wick waxed via my first wall up experience. I then headed north and picked up temple again, and woodsong past Jorden. There was definitely repeat action on side street. Meet two working ladies, one had poor attitude likely cause she did speak English and understood that I was just scouting for the next day. I have been mongering in Wanchai the last couple of years the last being in 2012 , was a regular to the Escape scene so regular that I had my dinner or supper always in escape it has one of the best Philippine food of sinigan soup, Crispy Pata and Fried Rice I used to have there with the ladies of course and even the waitress, bar tenders and Nepalese security were good friends of mine and they only told me about Bar 109 and Players (Previously Bridge). I never liked the atmosphere in Amazonia or the bar opposite to it on the second or third floor named after some forest or jungle like theme. Also I personally didn't find any good stuff in Neptune III or NM opposite Bar 109 on the first floor so Wanchai for me was escape or if no hunt then BAR 109 or Players for the after hours scene have had some amazing times in all these places absolutely crazy I must say.
Never I have paid more than 1000 to a indo, Philli or Thai chic only the Latin Americans were 1500-2000 depending upon the lady and time but all the Latinas were GFE or PSE I must say, never ever I had a bad experience with them as I used to see them multiple times either in HK or GZH in Kama almost same girls doing the GZH: HK scene. The best times in Wanchai have been those Sunday DH in Bar 109 and then the jungle themed club on 2nd or 3rd floor on the corner next to Amazonia awesome is the word I should say for these horny indo chicks, absolutely insatiable in bed.
I have no clues about HK Cafe maybe I am missing some place as it seems the place is on Lockhart road in between escape Amazonia and bar 109 but don't recollect the exact location. There are some amazing reviews about it and some good pickups to be had from here I should say. Do enlighten me about this place so I can take an excuse for a mongering trip to HK for visiting this place.

Think there is some misinformation about Wanchai.
Laguna closed in January. Business bought by ex-owners of Fenwick. Apparently they can't get an alcohol licence. Believe it has been sold on. No idea if and when it will reopen.
Bridge closed in April. Think problem with alcohol licence. Is being renovated. No idea what it will become.

If a DH has a curfew and she is late more than once, she can be terminated. The DH needs to toe the line and follow the rules.
Over the years, seen many DH fired for being out past their curfew, even if it was under an hour. Always make sure they have plenty of time to get home.
If you are lucky, you get one that is allowed to stay out on her holiday (presumably with an auntie / sister). They could also be from Macau and allowed to have a monthly paid weekend in HK by their employer.
Recently had a DH that wanted me to go to her place, as everyone was away, and would not go anywhere else. Go figure. Very stupid. I declined. Building staff, security or neighbors will rat them out.
If you are lucky, the DH can group several vacation days together and spend several days with you. Rare but possible, especially during periods like Christmas and Chinese New Year where there are many extra vacation days. But, IMHO, don't get them fired because they want to try and "bag" you. Read the Philippines threads. Those ladies do not really plan ahead.
If you meet them in Wanchai, they are most likely looking to party. If you meet them elsewhere, there is a possibility, but not as likely. I have known a DHer who illegally lived out. She worked part-time for 2 different employers, but she was still working 6 days every week (to survive). The employers were happy with this arrangement as they did not have children, and one employer couple made a larger living area by eliminating the maid's quarters.
Some DHers have their day off during the week to coincide with the employers' time off work (they have to work Saturday and Sunday).
But 3 consecutive days and nights without working! That seems extremely unusual.

Though this was tightened up by immigration around 8 or 9 years ago. Some DH stay out if they can staisfy immigration there is no space for a DH and the employer usually finds them a studio type apartment nearby. Ten or 12 to a room / s is a different situation and is usually ladies who have overstayed their visas. Then there is the group of DH who have bought an employer or are sponsored by boyfriends. They often stay alone in studio apartments and tend to frequent bars at night.

I went walking up through Wan Chai and could not find the New Makati. Did it go out of business or move?
Today is my third day in Hong Kong, and I've struck out in Wan Chai on both nights I've been in town thus far (Friday & Saturday, no less! I'm not sure if it's the slightly rainy weather, but the bars just don't seem to have as many girls as I've seen on previous visits. New Makati was practically empty on Friday, but a bit busier last night. Still nothing like I recall from trips a couple years back. Escape was Escape. That is, plenty of hotties around, but all asking ridiculous prices, and it still seemed more of a sausage fest than usual. Hong Kong Cafe was probably the best, but again way more dudes than ladies. I wonder what gives.
So, on to striking out: On Friday I thought I found a unicorn in HKC. A slim, pretty Shanghainese girl named Coco. She was giving all the right signals (though asking too much money, of course), but it was getting late, I was getting drunk, and feeling horny, so I agreed to $1 k S / T at my hotel. At 3:30 AM no less), so I bailed and went for a kebab instead. Probably a better investement because despite about 20 Coronas, I woke up feeling pretty good this morning. By the way, ALL the girls I talked to were asking crazy prices - even at Hong Kong Cafe they were starting at $2k S/T, negotiating down only to $1.5k. Ridiculous, especially as it was very very late.
Tonight, Emma and I are supposed to get together for dinner, so at least I should get laid.
Here's a question for the regulars: am I missing any bars? My circuit includes NM, Neptune 3 (which I hate), Escape, Amazonia, HKC, and Joe Bananas. Are there any other bars in Wan Chai where ladies congregate? Seems there must be one or two I'm missing.

I agree that Wan Chai has got quieter over the years and if there are now less WG's than guys about then the price will go up. Chantik just a few days ago explained the reasons for the reduction in the number of girls.
Looks as if new areas might need to be explored. Kowloon side? But there are still gems to be found in the Wan Chai bars. Why don't you like Neptune111? I know the girls are pushy for ladies drinks, ably encouraged by Mamasan Pearla but the prices are usually payable with a bit of negotiation. Insiders is another bar but I never found it to be busy but again, you only need to find one to make your day.

I lived in HK for about 12 years and loved the place. On a whim, decided to go there for a few days last week.
Being the organised guy I am I already lined up my dates in advance thanks to the dating sites that abound.

Reckon you guys have short memories. Since when has it been 500 at Escape / Fenwick for an overnighter. I know locals who are regulars at Escape 7 or 8 years ago complained they couldn't get girls to go all night for 700 or 800 - Girls would not budge unless 1000 - Until recently sometimes you could get lucky and get a ST from Fenwick / Escape if your hotel was in Wanchai.

Example,
when I first went to Rio in 2006 I was paying the going tourist rate. It was about $45 USD for about 2 hours and $70-90 for all night.
On my next visit, I found out I can go to other places for 1/2 price. When talking to the girls later, I calmly reminded them of the cost at the other places and I was in a better position as to how much I was willing to give them for a ST romp. Sometimes it worked. It pays to be educated on current rates.

Based on reports here I knew the talent would be less and the prices high, so I had invited a Thai beauty over from Bangkok to stay with me. That turned out to be a good move even I had to cover her air ticket; I just love the vibe of Wan Chai and have seen the decline in number of cute WG's over the past 10 years. Those left are old and well past their prime. I had a swell time with my girl but the bars are a pale shadow of their past (6-7 years ago). Hate to chime in with bad news, but I visited for a few days in December, and the usual haunts were pretty depressing. I had a meet up with a DH I knew from back when I lived there, but the bar pickup scene was much worse than when I was last there 2 years ago. Even Bar 109 on a Sunday looks to be exclusively working girls now.

Well for my last night in town, I took the easy road and repeated with my Thai spinner friend. She mentioned maybe meeting for dinner when we were saying our goodbyes in the AM, so I figured I'd stay with a sure thing rather than take my chances in the muddy waters again. She came over to Kowloon and we wandered around TST looking for a Thai restaurant she knows, but it turns out it closed, so we found a nice Italian place on Knutsford Terrace. After dinner she coyly mentioned that she'd heard about a bar nearby, in a hotel, and asked me if I knew any place like that. Said she heard it was a nice bar and wanted to check it out. Of course I knew she was talking about Hari's, and knew she wanted to do a little discreet professional reconnaissance! It was still early, before 10 I'm sure, but there were already maybe 6-10 ladies in the house, so any questions about whether or not Hari's is "back" can be put to rest for the time being at least. Unfortunately it was really loud in the bar and we decided to sit in the outer area, so I didn't get a chance to do any serious reconnaissance of my own. But first blush I didn't notice any real stunners, and I think the mix was about half Asian ladies, half European and / or S. American. I'd say definitely worth checking out in the future if anyone happens to be in TST.
After Hari's we decided to go back to Escape so we hopped on the MTR (HER SUGGESTION, by the way, in case anyone is thinking I'm a cheap-ass for not taking her in a taxi). She gave me the lowdown on coming and going with or without a lady at Escape, BTW. If a lady comes to the bar before 11 with a gent, she can leave together with him, no problems. If they arrive together after 11, they have to leave separately. She thinks it's because the management doesn't want to get in trouble with the police, but I'm not sure why since all the other bars don't have that weird restriction. She even left right after we got there to go change, and despite coming back alone, we still left together later with no issues since we got there right before 11. Odd policy. Anyway we hung out, got a little drunk, had a great time at the bar and then headed back to my hotel for even more great times. It was a nice evening, a good end to a visit that started out in the shitter with the stinky PRC girl.
Despite what seems to be a definite downward trend in terms of the overall scene in Wanchai, and an upward trend in terms of prices, I do still quite like to visit, and I haven't given up yet. I wish I had occasion to visit more frequently, but I'll definitely be back.
Oh P.S. To jackthelad, regarding Neptune 3. To be honest I really can't say exactly why I don't like it. It's really the only bar area with bars full of working girls, and yes they're all freelancers so no bar fines, etc. There's another bar area on Hong Kong Island where people occasionally report finding a freelancer or two, but it's hit and miss, not even worth venturing there IMO (that area is Lan Kwai Fong). LKF is overrun with tourists these days and not even worth visiting just for drinking IMO, although if you're a club guy I think there are a couple popular clubs there. Finally the other bar I mentioned, Hari's, is another outlier. It's in Tsim Tsa Chui, in Kowloon. It's worth dropping in if you happen to be staying in the area, but it's in the Holiday Inn hotel so it's mostly tourists plus a few working girls, compared to 100% working girls in select bars in Wanchai. It's also pretty small, so you'll be lucky if there are more than 10 working girls, and they're much lower profile due to the mixed nature of the place.
Your prices are too low also; inflation's a *****! On my recent trip I didn't really poll any ladies on pricing, but the stinky PRC girl wanted 1500 S / T and I talked her down to 1200, and I think my Thai Spinner was a bargain at 2500 L / T. It's on Lockhart Road, same side of the block as the kebab place, Istanbul Express I think. Hong Kong cafe is on Jaffe Road, which is the same street as Joe Bananas. Cross the corner there, it's on the opposite side of the street from Joe Bananas.

Wanchai is not that big. Just two streets 3 blocks long. The MTR exit on one end and the police station at the other end. Easy to walk and check out all the spots. Don't end up inside the western end though.

I find that I am in bit of a quandry if you will. I have the opportunity to spend a few blissful hours with a lass tomorrow afternoon, before she resumes "real life" in anticipation of CNY. Vice and Vulnerability.
Hong Kong's laws don't make prostitution illegal, but that's not to say that sex work here isn't criminal. Soliciting sex is illegal. The law also states that it is illegal for more than one prostitute to work on the same premises—sparking a widespread city phenomenon known as the one-woman brothel.
The implications of a one-woman brothel can be hard to stomach. There's a strong risk of violence—and death—as these sex workers, mostly migrants, are alone in their apartments with potentially abusive or homicidal clients. They aren't allowed by law to hire security or have another sex worker keep watch.
"These laws make them vulnerable," says Mabel Au, the director of Amnesty International Hong Kong. She gives the example of the March 2008 killings, when four sex workers were murdered in three days. There are*more cases, and it appears that no one is particularly interested in investigating these crimes.
Au recognizes that local efforts to protect sex workers move slowly. Discussions in the legislature about how to provide greater protection in the sex industry are few and far between. Some district councilors, most often around election time, want to eradicate sex work altogether, says Au. "I don't think a city can make sex work disappear. It's very natural everywhere," she says. *"Sex workers are also residents—they just have a different business. ".
The Local Sector.
Sex work in Hong Kong isn't just for migrants. Local NGO Action For Reach Out works to support women working in the city's sex industry. According to its most recent report, 2,658 sex workers and their families visited its drop-in center between July 2014 and June 2015: Just short of 85 percent were from Hong Kong, up from 77 percent the year before.
A serious problem for sex workers from the city is that they've come out of local schools with no sex education. In Hong Kong, sex education in school is not mandatory—and the type of education, if it's offered, is at the mercy of the school.
Some girls are so uneducated that they've washed their vaginas with Coca-Cola after sex to try and prevent unwanted pregnancies.
Advocacy group Zi Teng is one of the most prominent NGOs representing sex workers in Hong Kong. One of their advocates, who goes by "Miss Lee," says that "there is not really a law promoting sex education in secondary schools. It's totally up to the school. We know that some schools won't talk about sexual behavior in sex education class, and some teachers will only scare the students into not having sex. ".
Lam Po-yee, who runs advocacy group Teen's Key for young women working in the sex industry, says that she's had girls come to her NGO who were so uneducated that they've washed their vaginas with Coca-Cola after sex to try and prevent unwanted pregnancies.

Teen's Key specializes in helping women under 25 years old and*sees a lot of girls who go online to sell their bodies. Before the advent of mobile chat apps, these girls would typically work at night clubs. But now Lam says she gets about 30 new cases a month of these so-called compensated daters, each of whom uses three to five accounts on forums and apps such as WeChat to solicit their services—making the number of compensated daters in Hong Kong impossible to count.
Trans and Trapped.
It's impossible to put a face to Hong Kong sex work—and it can't be stereotyped by young Hong Kong girls on their iPhones or mainland women in grimy one-room brothels. Eric Sin Man-hon is an advocate for Midnight Blue, an NGO that works with both male and transgender sex workers. He says that transgender sex workers—who are most often migrants from the mainland, Thailand and the Philippines—face especially acute problems. Namely, they feel a need to keep their penis despite their desire to fully transition into women. This need is two-pronged. First, long-standing Asian family traditions that scare them into thinking they must be fathers. Second? Sex workers with breasts and a penis can charge more.
Midnight Blue sees anywhere between 20 and 40 cases of transgender sex workers seeking support every month. Again, the number of these sex workers is impossible to count—they're either migrant workers, asylum seekers or illegal residents, often leaving as quickly as they came.
For these sex workers, life can become uniquely difficult when they run into problems with the law, says Sin. If they are incarcerated, their heads are shaved and they aren't allowed their hormones—and if they're sent back to detention at the Immigration Department, no one knows which cells to put them in. Sin and his colleague, who uses the name "Rain," say that transgender sex workers detained at immigration have complained of being locked in solitary confinement from seven to 14 days, sometimes longer. There is no window, a light is kept on for 24 hours and they are only allowed 10 minutes outside of the room each day to take a shower.
Rain says that between 2013 and 2015, Midnight Blue recorded the arrests of 37 transgender sex workers. Nine of them are post-operative—they have vaginas—but they were still searched by male correctional officers because of the sex listed on their ID cards. All 37 were sent to psychiatric facilities at some point. They told Rain that their heads were shaved, they were given male uniforms and they had to use the same toilets as male inmates.
Thankfully, that policy might soon change. A judicial review was filed in January 2015 to challenge the detention policies of transgender prisoners, spurred by the June 2014 experiences of a 20-year-old transgender woman sentenced on drug charges. *The woman alleges that she was examined by male doctors while correctional officers stood by and ridiculed her, that the hormones she'the been taking since she was 12 were cut off, causing her to grow an Adam's Apple, and that she'the undergone a string of sexual assaults while being detained in police stations and correctional facilities. The lawyer handling the case, Patricia Ho, says a substantive hearing is scheduled for August 8.
These are the stories of three Hong Kong sex workers: Xiao, Lilly and Saanvi. Their names have been changed for their protection.
Prostitute at 35.
When Xiao sees her ex-husband and two little children on Sundays, she talks about her exhausting week selling wedding dresses. She recalls busy days of white lace and white smiles. She makes girls' dreams come true.
But Xiao's never told her family that she works at a foot massage parlor. She's never told her 10 and 6-year-old that those foot massages turn into sex. She's never told her ex-husband that since their divorce two years ago, she's become a full-time sex worker.
For Xiao, working in bridal fashion is a fantasy—and on Sundays, with her family, she lives the life that she wants to live.
"The worst part about men is that they're ma fan (troublesome)," say Xiao, speaking from a dingy apartment in Mong Kok that doubles as an NGO office and a makeshift health clinic. The walls are lined with condoms on strings and anatomical charts of vaginas. *.
"Work is no good. Men are no good. They're too demanding. " —Xiao, 35, prostitute.
Xiao is from Dongguan, China's notorious sex capital—just over the border in Guangdong province, where the Chinese government has been cracking down on spas and brothels. There she worked in a hotel concierge, cleaning and making coffee. Xiao moved to Hong Kong with her husband 10 years ago—"It's money, money," she says, "we came here for money. " She worked again at a concierge and life was relatively good, until the divorce. That's when, at 35 years old, Xiao became a prostitute.
The parlor she works at doesn't explicitly advertise sex. "I work there from noon to 10 at night, Monday to Saturday," Xiao says. "My boss, he brings men upstairs from the parlor and I take turns with the other girls," she tells me. "But sometimes work is no good. Men are no good. They're too demanding. ".
Xiao shares a tiny apartment with another woman, not far from where she works in Kowloon. She might pull in $10,000 in a good month. But while Xiao keeps up a girly effervescence, one subject roils her—her eyes turn red and she retreats into herself.
She says that the police scare her when they raid the massage parlor, lining women up, pointing at their heads and demanding to know where their boss is. "When we say that we don't know where he is, the police officers insult us. ".
But today, dealing with the police is not her top priority. She's looking for another profession and a way to support her children. Xiao is certainly conscious of her age—and that her job at the parlor has an expiration date. She gives it two more years.
"I would do fashion if I could do something different," she says. "Right now it's all work. I don't have time to sleep and I don't have time eat. I don't have happiness. ".
Punters on the Phone.
It's surprising to see that the girl sitting on the couch of another one-room NGO is a Hong Konger. Lilly is 23 years old*but the tiny patches of rosy acne on her cheeks make her look like a teenager. Legally an adult but with the appearance of a girl, she's the perfect candidate for compensated dating.
Lilly is a quiet rebel. She was kicked out of secondary school in the New Territories at 19 for being difficult—not showing up, not studying—and she cops a little bit of an attitude with me, too, answering only what she feels like answering, with a soft voice and a smile.
Lilly is in touch with her mother, who still lives in the New Territories, but who has no idea that she is a sex worker. Lilly will never tell her, either. Mom thinks that she makes milk tea at a restaurant, which is what Lilly did for almost a year, at 21. But, like high school, she just couldn't hold it down.
Faced with the challenge of making an income when she realized school was no longer an option, Lilly scoured the internet and saw that girls her age were posting on local internet chat forums, selling their time by the hour. She copied their profiles, added her own picture, and left her MSN Messenger handle.
"The first time I went on a date, the guy was so ordinary. We met at a train station so that it would be safe. We went to have sex and it only took him 15 minutes. Lilly says she'the never take money just to accompany a man—maybe dinner and a movie—without sex. Those compensated daters make just $100 an hour. Money is important to Lilly, whose only days off are when she gets her period.
Times have changed since Lilly started out. The days of having to use internet chat clients has been left behind for the convenience of WeChat, WhatsApp and Line—that's where she fields punters now, from her mobile phone. But with the digital revolution has come a serious challenge for Lilly.
"Pok gai (drop dead)," Lilly sighs. "All the cops in Hong Kong, pok gai. ".
Lilly doesn't meet new clients anymore—she only uses repeat clients, "stable," she calls them—because a few years ago she was arrested by the police during an undercover sting. A cop pretended he was a punter and, when he met Lilly in the lobby of a hotel, cuffed her and brought her to the police station. There's a legal argument that soliciting sex on the internet could be interpreted as soliciting in a public place, and therefore illegal in Hong Kong.
She was held for hours in a freezing room until a cop finally came with confession papers to sign. Lilly says she didn't understand what she was signing. An NGO advised her to pay the fines handed down by the court: She couldn't afford a drawn-out legal battle. Lilly is a five-foot-tall convicted criminal.
Lilly isn't happy with her work, although she says she enjoys talking to her clients. But she hates the sex and she doesn't know what she'll do next. For now, she's volunteering with an advocacy group that helps sex workers keep on top of their STD checks. Sex work shouldn't be stigmatized, Lilly thinks—and working against this deeply ingrained Hong Kong mentality is important to her. "I make my own money, and I don't take it from the government," she says. There's a long-standing stigma against those who apply for social welfare: Lilly's a Hongkonger, after all.

She knows that she will never return home for fear of her life—and her mother has never seen her as a woman. Saanvi tells her mother that she doesn't make enough money to afford a phone or computer with a camera when they use Skype to communicate. Her mother will never know, she says. Saanvi still sends her money.
That fear from her hometown even now follows Saanvi—sometimes, she realizes that she's deeply afraid to tell her friends here in Hong Kong that she's transgender, despite it being obvious. "They knew I was different at home because of the way I spoke," she says. "I spoke like a woman and they could tell. ".

But despite her identity, Saanvi has no plans to transition fully into a woman. She wants to keep her penis. Her penis is her moneymaker.

Saanvi's been arrested twice; both times she went to prison. And prison proved highly problematic for Saanvi. The second time she was incarcerated, a psychiatrist intervened with an evaluation and Saanvi was sent to a psychiatric facility for the rest of her sentence. She says she spent most of her time there in solitary confinement, and again she wasn't allowed her hormones.
Because Saanvi's asylum case is pending, by law she's not allowed to work. She's driven to sex work by her need to buy Premarin estrogen tablets—and crystal meth, which keeps her awake when she works. Saanvi has just started a profile on Tinder, a possible route to settling down in a relationship, perhaps even transitioning out of sex work. Yes you can get sex in AC cheaper than that, but not on Fields / Walking Street! What does suck about AC is the infrastructure. Side walks, what are those? Filthy homeless children begging for money, unpaved streets, street vendors pestering you while you eat lunch. I would say I still love Angeles over HK for mongering, but not by much.

Thanks.Your best initial shot is the walk-ups via sex 141 dot com. Just knock on a few doors to see what's available before making your decision. Keep in mind once you enter, you're obligated to pay. There is a few active forum that will also guide you on the same site. Initially you'll be turned off by the sleazy buildings and stairs but it's absolutely safe.
Other option is backpage but YMMV and $$.

Lots written in these forums about both places. Believe they even have their own thread for the novice Punter.
Agreed, walk ups are the way to go. Like the other guys said, the buildings are decrepit (inside and out), but its all good. The ladies are there to please, well maintained, drama free and charge a good price. The other great thing about the walk up circuit is that there are so many of them in Kowloon that it should be easy to find a gal that suits all of your needs and they're all within walking distance of the subway.
You'll need about 5-6 hours at the minimum RT, or you could spend the night.
It's by far the best sauna experience you'll ever have. My fave Familia Nobre.

Here we go again. It's 10.15 pm and I'm off down Lockhart Road towards the fleshpots. Streets are strangely quiet but the "men's bars" such as Old Vic and the Dog House as I call them are doing a roaring trade. Not many girls about. First stop Neptune111. Really nothing to report that would be of any interest to punters.
I had room service this afternoon, provided by a friend I met a couple of years ago who I have kept in touch with. She totally knackered me with her non-stop sex drive and just wants to go at it all day. That's me done for the next few days. We did venture out about 10.00 pm for fresh air and ended up in Slings Bar right next to the Hong Kong Café. Work commitments mean I don't get to Wan Chai until just after midnight. The streets are quiet for a Friday night, so much so that you can actually walk on the pavements past the busy bars. 1st stop Neptune 111. Busy with lots of available girls. There are so many of them that you won't have to worry about variety. If you really want to be adventurous might I suggest trying Temple Street. The brothels there are mainly Thai and are even cheaper than the walk ups. Look for an old Chinese woman (or man) sitting on a stool next to a door way that leads to stairs. They will escort you to their monger den and you can choose from there. You will also find several PRC freelancers walking about in the Temple street area. Most don't speak English so it can be tricky.

Afraid the last couple of days / nights have gone by in a flurry of drink / sex / work and I've lost track a bit.
I recollect not going out on Saturday night partly because of the weather and partly to re-group.

Insiders was quiet, HK Café all but deserted and several others were very quiet. The only place seemed to be Neptune 111 where there was a $500 charge for gents and $100 charge for gents although we were waived through. What's that all about? Nothing inside there to turn our heads although there was a steady stream coming and going. The evening was spent at a working dinner and at 11.00 pm we ventured back. Amazonia was packed but frequented mainly by Thais who you could not have a conversation with them due to their lack of English and the loud band. Perseverance might have paid off. NM nothing to write home about and the H G Café was busy but the girls far outnumbered the guys. A 35 year old Philippine who we will call Miss M was sitting on her own at the busy bar and we struck up a conversation which inevitably and eventually led to the basics. Very willing to leave for $1000 and a very pleasant night ensued back at the hotel. It could be too disparaging to say she was like a real Pro. , but she certainly knew how to keep the customer happy. So much so I arranged to meet up again for dinner on Monday night, followed by another session in the hotel, before going back out to Neptune 111 which she had never been to. Feigning illness, I decided to cut short the night just after midnight and after a few drinks, allowing her to return to her favorite HK Café where she hoped to add to her income. No cash changed hands which was rather surprising. Neptune 111 on a Monday night was busy one minute, empty the next. The band, fronted by a young sexy singer, was worth listening to.

Hello everyone,
I'm going for a short stay next week in HK, would anyone kindly offer some good choices here? I look for quality service and nice young girls. i prefer brothel or sauna etc, such places offer rooms for action, i don't want to bring girls back to hotel usually.
I've never been to HK before (usually I visit German fkks), so any comments are welcomed. One friend (he's not from local though) told me BOLAN road (not sure about the spelling) is a good place to visit, is that true?
