You don't need anyone. Just carry a phone with google map. And read the Thailand forum in ISG. Your good to go. Travel alone. Thailand is safe for both men and women. Carry min of 2000 bht and keep evrything else in the hotel locker. Change your currency to thbht from india itself. Bargain for everything. If somone say about 3000 bht for short time. (tat would be cute thai girl). Start bargaining from 1500bht and always book twin sharing rooms!
Make sure your hotel is walking distance from "walking street Pattaya". (avoid Indian hotels) and in Bangkok near Asok or Nana. Asok is close to Sukumvith and Nana is near to Nana plaza and Soi Cowboy. Don't hire any tour operator and waste your money. For assitance read trip advisor. And for mongering read ISG Bangkok forum. Don't trust tuk tuk people in Bangkok. They will take you to shady massage places and if you refuse to take service they will leave you in middle of nowhere.
But Pattaya bike taxi people are so nice they will take you to all happening massage parlour in pattya. Pattya people are more friendly than Bangkok.
