i'd been to this spa since it is pretty close to where i stay. i was on a tired long trip and wanted some good massage to relax my muscles. didn't want to drive all over. so went there. quoted 2.5 k for an hour massage. but took a basic one for 30 minutes with steam. assigned a therapist jayanthi who is from mysore. looks like a very very very average lady! because of tiredness couldn't think of anything, went ahead for the massage. was given a langot (not the usual disposable undergarment. she started the massage, it was quite decent. conversing in local language, but johny was not interested to be touched by her, so didn't pop up the question of extras. had steam, had bath, paid & left the place.
pros: basic decent massage. and that is only the plus.
cons: towels are very dirty, no refreshments given before or after, over priced for their quality of spa experience (1300 for a 30 minutes massage), no attached bathrooms.
only two female therapists are there. she told hardly they get 2-3 customers on a working day. weekends it will be little crowded.

i was surprised to see there are no doors, only curtains. anyways, she has asked me change and provided pajamas and t shirt. the massage was really good and she didn't gave me a hint at all. finally, i asked that i wanted to take off clothes and if that works for her. language was a problem and it took some time to let her understand.

So took the voucher and visited their Sadashivnagar branch to try my luck as Indranagar branch was not there on the groupon offer.

The way I manage the risk is to never pay in advance and show them the agreed amount if necessary. However, I've been out of the scene for a while and you may not be able to get away without paying upfront, after which, the SP will disappear and the only way to coax the girl to give you good service is to hold out the promise of a good tip if she pleases you.
If you'll be renting a car and driver, insist on either following the SP's vehicle or have him travel in your car.

Another example of how we have senselessly given in to illogical price hikes by SP / Indies worth only a fraction for their looks and service. See this report in Delhi forum of 2 k for Russian. Even if that price is only for regular clients, you can still get an idea how much the normal rates would be whereas here in our city, people are willing to pay up to 3 k for Pooja of JPN for 1 shot who by their own admission isn't much of a looker nor a provider of any decent service. To add to the bad events happening in the forum comes another story of bad luck.
There is this small time madam I knew since years who gets contacts of Indies who want to earn some extra money in their spare time for whatever reasons. First of all let me introduce myself. I joined this forum way back in 2007 but had to travel to US for a long time and just came back in February.

It would generally appear, based on the forum writings, that Bangalore is not a great place for mongering. Over-priced, not enough supply, poor quality and choice. For someone who just wants a genuine, good quality and unforgettable experience, where do they go? It sounds like there's no options but to try the usual girls who don't get good ratings and then over some time you may come across one choice SP or girl who then becomes the preserve of the elite.
As I've mentioned to a few folks here, I'm making a fleeting visit ti Bangalore and would like a genuine experience but I don't want to spoil it for everyone else I. E. First of all let me introduce myself. I joined this forum way back in 2007 but had to travel to US for a long time and just came back in February.
