Had a trip to Kolkata. It was my first time visit to MT Bangur. Called the spa when I reached near the spa area however they told me over phone that Ria is not available for the whole day. Still decide to try my luck & went directly to counter & asked about Ria. The counter girl was not willing to give Ria however, the spa owner was seated in the reception & he arranged Ria for me. Have been inactive for some time. But wanted to update all with some of more recent spa visits -.
1. Galleria mall spa, ground floor- nice place with counter at 1500. However they have just 2-3 options I guess. I used Miss Happiness as earlier recommended by someone here. She's young but a little wierd as [Non-English text deleted by Admin].
2. P thai spa Alipore. Tried couple of packages here. All local. I guess Thai are out of business these days dues to LE issues. Even the Thai spa etc have only NE. Or are the thais back? Counter was 1500 with all services available. Nothing specific to write about but was a good release. Any recommendations here?
3. SP. Tried one SP (locanto advertised) who arranged something at one of the hotels on Park street. Probably the subject was staying there and all SP and network were sending customers one after another. Not a good experience as she was totally uninterested and looking over worked (overtime hours are everywhere).
4. Thai Oriental, alipore- again just 2 options available. One local (fat) and one NE (manly). Best avoided.
I think SP business is very dicey and spas are better. But again its trial and error unless you find the right one with the right regular.
For spas do you generally ask the reception counter to show you the options. I mean is that okay thing to do generally. I rather think will tey it sometime. Or atleast ask the chosen therapist to introduce others at end.
Any spa suggestions with therapist in south kolkata welcome (I donot like dingy places though).

Just had another awesome experience at the very famous Bangur Spa. It was very less crowded yesterday, though I had pre-booked Ria first.
