>>Mobile brothels manned by cell-phone toting operators are proving to be a hit in Chennai, according to a new study.
For those in the trade, running a mobile unit makes sound business sense as it cuts down on operational costs of renting a building and bribing the cops. As for the client, it promises 'pick and drop' facility of sex workers at a place of his choice.
More than 17 mobile units operate from cars in the city, according to Chennai-based NGO Indian Community Welfare Organisation (ICWO), which works with Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs). The ICWO estimates the volume of sex business in the city at Rs 3.33 crore per month in its latest study.
According to the study, there are 6,300 women sex workers operating from all over the city, around the year. "They are spread over in all parts of the city," says secretary, ICWO. The sex workers have been broadly classified as family girl, street worker, brothel based, and mobile. Family girls form the majority of the lot, numbering 4500. There are 350 street workers, and 90 mobile workers, according to the study. It was found that 55 percent of the sex workers came from Andhra Pradesh, 24 percent from Tamil Nadu and 11 percent from Kerala. The study identified 150 full time brokers and an estimated 4500 part time brokers. It has been found that clients are serviced at 'normal houses', besides brothels, hotels and lodges. These houses are used for short-term stay and rent is paid for the hours used. At least 91 such houses exist in the city. According to the study, an estimated 11,111 paid sexual encounters take place in the city.

The scene in Pondy is also very dry only. But there are caberet performance in two hotels, one is Mars other one I forgot the name. Quality of gals is better in Mars. I think there are abt 3 shows. Go to the one that gets over by 11pm, when you come out walk slow, some one will approach you for gals.
Insist that you pay after you see the gals. He will take you wherever the place is, usually the quality is 5. But the place stinks. You can negotiate with him to take the gals to your hotel.
The best thing you can do is take an auto and quitely ask the driver who will happily locate you some gals, quality is better. He can also take you to some hotel where they do not make fuss abt having gals.

I learnt from my friend that a wide variety of girls are available in a posh bungalow located near Mylapore bus stand. Came back from a business trip to Chennai. Here are my experiences:
1. Called a Service Provider "Ka*****" who was very vague. I was told that she visited hotels. However she claimed not to know the hotel i was staying at (which by the way was in the centre of the city and very well known). She insisted that I come to an apt someplace of her choosing. There were also voices of several men in the background.
She gave me an address and When I checked with the bell desk they said it was wayyy out in the suburbs. My intuition said something wasnt rite so ditched that plan.
2. Called my regular contact who said she had someone new working with her.. 23 year old who doesnt speak any english. They were supposed to show up at 8PM which they never did. Got a call finally at 8:30 saying they couldnt make it and they would come the next day. Lo and behold at 9Am the next morning they were at the room door. The 23yrd old name "Soni or Sonu or Sony or whatever" was slim, dark and average looks. Performance in bed was a 5/10. I guess its as much as you can expect for 2K.
At least I have tried 2 sp's in Chennai... I have been asked not to giv out the contact number of the SP except to "reliable" people. LOL wonder what reliable means... in any case post here some details about urself and when you will be in Chennai and would be glad to share.

Hi folks,
Just landed the day before yesterday from UK. I checked into a hotel called Savera. The jet lag killed me. I gulped a couple of beers and just crashed. Last evening, I started chatting up with the room boy and then tipped him Rs.100. Generally asked him about the girl scene. He told me that he would be finishing his shift by 7 pm and would not mind accompanying me. And also said that he would take me to a place. But suggested that I book a cab and even suggested his friends cab which costed me around Rs.250. The deal was to pick us up and take us to the joint, pick up the girl and then drop us in the hotel.I waited and was ready by 7 30 pm.
He landed in my room around 7 45 and then we marched out into a suzuki van. I am not familiar with the topography of madras, since I have been to this city only a few times and most of the time the girls were already booked in advance.But I wanted to some how find the location.
The only land mark was that bang opposite a studio known as Vijaya Vauhini Film studios ( I wrote this land mark on a piece of paper) there was a lane. The van went into the lane and stopped opposite a tea shop which was on the right hand side hardly 20 metres from the entrance to the lane. He told me to get down and accompany him. On the right hand side of this lane were a few bylanes. In one of the bylanes, the girls were just hanging out ala Bombay Kamatipura style. They were oggling away.But he just whisked me away into one of the houses. The girls hanging out on the doorway looked between 25 and 45.There were some cuties too.
But inside the house were small rooms like pigeon holes. He then suggested that the girl could remain in my room till morning and that the cab will pick her up in the morning and drop her back and I just need to pay Rs.150. I agreed and went to my room. It was a true GFE experience and just fantastic.And I think for less than USD65, it was just fantastic for a whole night of fuck which included, AR, oral, CIM and fucking in different position. This morning at 7 30 am the cab guy knocked the door and picked up the girl and went.I paid him Rs.200 instead of the Rs.150, since I had no change. He also said he did not have change and I said fine, just keep the change. I tipped her Rs.300. The entire rendezvous for under USD 100 is I beleive pretty cheap. In fact Arul has promised to take me to a guest house of the film fraternity tonight, which I will post. watch out tomorrow for my posting.

Wow! Vive La Madras. Who said finding a joint in Madras is difficult or some decent place is not there at all. As committed, Arul, the room boy in the hotel landed at 7 15 pm itself. He speaks good English. I told him that I would take him out for a drink. But he suggested that we can have it at the guest house where the Film Fraternity meets. The same cab turned up. So out we went in the cab. I asked him for the name of the place and it was difficult to pronounce. He was good enough to spell it for me. Thiruvanmiyur is the place. As we entered the Mahabalipuram Road, there was a temple on the left hand side and after the temple a few 100 metres away we saw a police out post. They did not stop us and a couple of 100 meters after that on the left had side was a Car Garage. Bang opposite the car garage on the right hand side of the road was a mud road, steeply going downwards. The car entered the road and then he took the left turn. I asked him the name of the guest house and he said it was popularly known as the T Rajender Guest House.On the right side of the road he entered the last gate. The security stopped us and spoke in Tamil. Arul indicated to him that we are regulars. He opened the door. We went inside about 50 metres and there was the car park. Just before the car park on the right hand side was a house with a few cars. But we did not go there.
On getting down from the car park, we went to the bar which is in the outside of the main guest house. Had a few drinks and Arul asked for one Vijay Kumar to come. There were a few girls hanging around there. All between 18 to 25. Arul told me that they were all small time film actresses.This Vijay Kumar came and sat with us and as I was scanning the girls, he said since I was a "white" guy, he could offer me a special girl for Rs.10,000. I asked him as to what that special was and he said she was a TV actress. He summoned the girl on the intercom. She came out. A stunningly good looking girl, very shapely. I would rate her 8 out of 10. Her name, he said was Mahima. I do not know what her true name is.He said that she was an upcoming TV actress. I agreed and I asked them to join us for a drink. Vijay Kumar excused himself but Mahima joined us. The deal was for a whole night. Then Mahima excused herself and said she will join me in the room and maybe we could continue the drinks etc there including dinner. She spoke decent english. The room charges were extra and he said it would cost me Rs.2000 for the room and the check out time would be 12 noon.
I paid the bill, and offered Rs.500 to Arul. The liqour cost was pretty steep, Rs. 150 per large. But since it was an exclusive place, I gues the prices are also exclusive. Meanwhile some more girls came in.Arul indicated to me that atleast 3 of them were film actresses. I generally checked out on the price. And Arul said, "dont try them sir, they charge you exhorbitant and are pathetic in the bed. Your choice is good since she is new". Some korean or Japanese guys landed up. I could figure out they were from the oriental part of the world, because I have been living in Jakarta for the last couple of years. They joined the film actresses for their drinks.
Vijay Kumar came and indicated to me that the room was ready. I paid the money and they wanted Rs.1000 more towards the food and drink deposit. I was told the room service would be there the whole night.As I stepped into the lobby of the guest house, I found a beautiful swimming pool, round in shape. No one was swimming. But he said if I wanted I could use it along with the girl.He also said this pool is normally used for film shootings.
There were 3 floors and the place had about 30 rooms. Looked more like a five star hotel. The room that was given to us was a large one. The bed was 8 feet by 8 feet. Pretty large. A dining table with 4 chairs and also a sofa set thrown in.The room was airconditioned and for 2K it was a steal.The only thing missing was a lift. Had to walk up the stairs. But worth it. But the most fascinating thing was the size of the bathroom. It was really huge with a jacuzzi in it. Just fantastic. Mahima suggested we have a bath in the jacuzzi. It was ok with me.But she was insistant that I use listerine for the mouth wash before I hit the jacuzzi. We had some smooching session in the jacuzzi with the water just banging my back. It was great. Came out of the Jacuzzi and to the bed, had a great BBBJ and CIM. Had another drink and continued with a great fuck. She was really wonderful in the bed. Had 4 sessions through the night.And tried the 5th this morning but could not cum and so gave up.

I am a Sri Lankan living in Canada.
I am planning to Visit India for the first time in 2004
I recently visited Havana, Cuba for the first time and had a great time. Cheapest place on earth for girls. Only $30 for all night.
Only difference is that in Havana, I pay the girl directly and she got to keep all the money.
In India, I would imagine that the brothels and pimps would get most of the money. They treat the girls really bad like slaves.
In the case of Ramani, The brothel wouldn't have paid anything to her out of your Rs 3000. It would probably be kind to tip these girls generously, if you like their service.

But even if you do not find him, I have very clearly given the landmarks and I am sure it would not be a problem finding the place. In case you know the local language then you can obviously find your way through.Its only "white" guys like me need to be chaperoned because of the security concerns

Another one for Chennai.
Was in Chennai last week for a brief stop before heading off to singapore. My regular service providers were both out of action that week (talk about a coincidence).
So I decided to try the adverts in the health section 2 major english papers in town. Most of them said they would send a guy over for full service but no women (sheesh had to tell them it wasnt my cup of tea).

It appears I may be visiting the wonderful place called Chennai in the 1st quarter next year for the first time ever. I was hoping to get a little more information about it.
From reading the earlier posts it appears that taking women to your hotel room is very bad. What can happen? I am asking in all seriousness, is there a law against it?
What tips would be helpful - I know I need to find this Arul guy :-) . I have no idea what hotel I will be staying in - do you have any suggestions?

Chennai is not as dry as it made out to be. Last month I was in Chennai for a week. Initially, it appeared to be dry. Tried the Ayurvedic massage way somewhere in T. Visited Chennai recently, I think things are looking better than a year ago, however it still remains one of the worst cities in the country for mongering I got a chance to stay only for couple of days, however I tried my score as much as possible within that time. The first set back was that, most of the good contacts that I developed over a period of time have changed the numbers. This included the contact of an ex-producer from film industry that got me a budding actress for 10k 3yrs ago. Yeah. What a loss?
As I started looking out for the new contacts, I also wanted to try someone that I knew from before. She actually arranged a very nice girl last time around, she and her husband (an employee in a small company) runs the show secretly. They actually live with their family, with the kids and parents, however they do this as side business very discretely for extra bucks. They usually do very strict screening, however they recognized me very easily, set up a time and showed up at their home.
After some coffee and chitchat, a girl showedup, must be 20, from mumbai, wearing tight jeans, t-shirt etc, a typical mumbaikar style, wouldn't rate very high, may be a 6 on looks dept, however my small head was already in control of my mind (as it always does), negotiated price to 3k fot ST and got into the room.
She was very friendly and talkative but she seems to be a beginner in the business and don't really have any skills. I thought she was playing games, but when I got into her I kind of realized that she is infact new. She was really really tight and I had to be patient with my way through.

On my way back to Chennai, got the car driver into a friendly chat and he told me that he dropped a pimp and 2 very nice looking girls at a hotel the day before that. He called up that guy, initially he was reluctant, but then called us back and quoted 10k. I was really short on time and tried to negotiate price for an hour. He didn't agree, was adamant that the price is same for a night or 10mins. I didn't like that and didn't proceed.
Car driver also told me that one of the resorts on ECR(way to Mahabalipuram) has some strip shows and all the fun can be had. Apparently they charge a very high door fee, just to keep the number of customers low, but he wasn't very sure about the exact location. He said he can get back to me next day with all the details. Well, I don't have time. This has been my problem always, I have very limited time, and by the time I develop contacts, I am out of the city and when I go back they all would have changed the numbers.
I learned that Chennai hotels are not really girl friendly. No matter how expensive the hotel is, they are just paranoid about it. I am actually thinking about renting a guest house in my next trip. It will probably cost about the same, but atleast no hassles, though you need to be a bit careful about safety especially when you are dealing with people in this industry.
Summary, Chennai has eased up little bit. I figured that as we are finding it hard to catch hold of right girls/pimps, they have the same problem too. So, if they feel that you are a good client, they will be after you and really putting in efforts to please you.
I still have some of those numbers, will share them with the senior members or for number exchange through PM.

I paid 1500/- I guess. And 200 Rs tips. There were two ladies. One lady for the usual massage and after that another lady just for the extra service. Somehow I didnt like that idea at all.
I would say overall it was 5 out of 10 (dont go by the marks, my expectations are too much. Hehe. :))

There is a massage parlour near Duraiswamy subway. Instead of getting down the bridge from the Pothys end, go to the left and there will be a new apartment, and on the second floor there will be a parlour. The charge is 1500 with massage and HJ. I didn't ask anything, may be she would have accepted, I don't know. A bit fat and should be 30+.

I was quite excited when I got a mallu MP on my 2nd try and she invited me over with all services.This was in T Nagar. It turned out to be a frustrating affair with the mallu girl - a sweet one with a sandalwood smear on her forehead went about the business of massaging with absolutely no frills. even my best charms and sales skills did not have any impact on her.
Wisened I tried all the nos in the Hindu ; but this time I was point blank. All these MPs tempt you on the phone saying "special services" and invite you over. Once you are there , there would 3-4 stupid males hovering around the reception that you just cannot bargain or ask for specifics. So I made it a point to cut short all frill over phones and asked specifically if they provided HJ/BJ.
I hit paydirt on my 10th (or so) call. This was in Nungambakkam.
I had a 30 mt normal massage by a petite sweet mallu ( another one) and then another one took over for the next 30 minutes. She was about 6/10. Pretty cooperative. did a HJ/ squeeze the boobs, prompted a Russian.. Was ready for a complete strip had it not been her RED day( i have heard this often.. cud be ruse)
It was an OK experience in an otherwise dry place.Not sure if I would try again.
Some learnings..
1. Most of the MPs are run by Mallus
2. Most of them do not offer extra services for the first timer.
3. I am not sure if they do for the 2nd and 3rd timer
4.The special services they say over the phone is just a ruse to make you go there

I agree with you Jay. The so called special services offered through phone especially if its a Mallu MP just mean that they have a SP package with head massage, facial, pedicure & manicure and a "Special bath" by the females (hold on. Don't expect any extras other than that.

I agree with Hot Guy. All the ads talk about "heavenly relaxation" and "fulfilling all your expectations". Then its the usual rob down which sometimes can turn out to be a massage.
The deluxe package usually includes facial. pedicure and manicure, all amateur jobs. Then theres the special "rose water bath, which two females will do" that is just a rub down with a towel sprinkeld with rose water.
Its only occasionally that some like Jay hit paydirt. Whenever you try negotiating with the gal receptionist its only a matter of time befor a slimy male enters the discussions. The gal afterwars pretends she cant hear your suggestions and requests.

I finally made it to this place that was mentioned in the forum. It is in Nungambakkam.
Its made up to look lilke a regular Ayurvedic therapy center - posters of tarditional massage, medicinal oils lined up on the shelves and a proper reception desk. The guy at the counter recited all the "packages" ranging from Rs 1000 for half hour and Rs 3000 for two hours; the last involving two "females", pddicure, manicure, facial and a rose water bath..
Since it was a trial run I asked for the half hour deal, paid up and did not ask for anything special. I doid mentiopn that repeat vists depended on how good my first experience turns out to be.
I was ushered into the airconditioned room which had a neat bathroom attached. On the massage table, which had obviously seen better days, there was a blue pair of fresh underwear.
The girl, (mallu, 6/10 for looks, 8/10 for her figure) gave me a reasonably good massage and off and on her hands seemed to go somewhere near the vital area but not quite.
After half hour she indicated that m time was up and I pretended to be disappointed and said "thats all ?" and held her hand and told her the massage was fantastic . ( A small lie for a good cause !)

But recently my eyes caught with the Ad for StepInn in Hindu. I called them but I came to know that this is in T Nagar. otherwise you have to chance it...one possibility is to park somewhere near hotel deluxe in t nagar and wait for someone (hopefully not a traffic cop !) to approach you.

Thanks for the tip. I've never felt comfortable in the mp environment, because of all the various externalities that one has to worry about. Are any of the better hotels GFE friendly, where you can meet women at the bar or where a discreet employee can help you connect with someone?!

I can't believe you guys are still writing about your non-adventures in this stinking shit hole of a place.
Having been there a number of times on business, I can say that there is no action worth chasing. The massage chicks are as ugly as hell and the so called "movie star" is just a washed up extra trying to fleece you for Rp10,000. Forget it. Chennai is a place full of self-righteous prudes.
The only advice I can give you regarding this dump of a city is to get the hell out of there as fast as you can. Head to Thailand, Malaysia or anywhere that free market trade and the laws of supply and demand exist.
I can't see why some corrupt government minister or some high ranking police commissioner just doesn't legalise the world's oldest profession and let everyone release their sexual frustrations. It makes good economic sense. For a so called secular state, I find India rather puritanical and washed over with religious fervour - even at an official government level.
Everyone in Chennai wants to do it, but can't get it. No wonder everyone is so frustrated.
