after my pleasant experience at haus kha (courtesy gk) i reached gurgaon where i was going to be for a few days. i had a klpd experience in an aura spa in bombay colaba but it has mirrored walls which i had found to be a real turn-on and so could not wait to try out antiklpd's advice to go to a spa with mirrored ceilings.

went to the anitklpd recommended spa and as time was a constraint (i was due for a meeting) and bathing after an oil massage always takes a long time, so opted for a dry thai massage. i went at a time when there was only one therapist available. i must say that antiklpd must have gone their some time ago as the place was a bit run down. the ni therapist took me to a room and i found no mirrors. i protested saying that i had come here on the recommendation that the rooms had mirrored ceiling. they said okay and took me to another room which had a full length mirror on one wall. i asked about the mirrors on the ceiling and they replied that they don't have such a room, they have only a room with mirrors on one wall. maybe antiklpd had said mirrors on the wall and i must have misunderstood, so i said okay and proceeded with the north indian therapist.

I was perhaps more influenced by the cleanliness particularly the sheets and the towels and as ambiance is closely linked with cleanliness and Sauda was so good at the massage as well as the extras, so perhaps my grading. However as you have given the place only an above average grading in ambiance, could you tell us the Spas with the definitely better ambiance and also which Spa perhaps has the best ambiance (off course if extras at least HJ is not available then the Spa does not count ).

from the entrance a flight of stairs takes you to the reception area. this flight of stairs was slightly dirty and not so impressive. the reception did have a reasonable ambiance and was quite spacious and different. their rates were higher. whereas at other spas a 60 min oil massage costs in the region of 2-2. 4k (without any deal) here the rates were 2800- for 60 min. i asked for the therapists suggested by rajesharddick. both were not available and then had to go with the therapist given by the reception. i was taken to the room and again a disappointment. the rooms / cubicle was even smaller than the rooms of the other spas, and it was not even clean, with the wall slightly dirty (i was wondering how ak had commented that the rooms were bigger and more plush than the other spas ). the therapists was average. she gave me an average massage and for extras she said that at this spa they give nothing further than hj and the price was fixed at 2k. no amount of haggling moved her and finally as could not waste an investment of 60 minutes had to accept. surprisingly for some reason inspite of her best efforts i could not achieve a happy ending. after she had been pummeling jhonny for quite some time i gave up and told her to let it be. when i went for the shower found that the water was only coming at a trickle and she took me to another room for the shower. when she took me to the other room i suddenly realized what ak had reported. this room was larger that all the other rooms, was much better decorated and even had a huge bathtub apart from a shower. though here also the water was coming out of the shower only as a trickle. i asked her how many such rooms they had and she said only one and they use it only for emergencies. i thought wtf, what kind of emergency is there for a massage with extras. probably this was a vip room for their favored guests and so ak had got that room because he was favored or because of his appearance / personality. however the overall experience was below expectation and even below average. with such high charges and not so good ambiance or cleanliness it really is not worth it. our old favorite at mahipalpur is by far much much better. and so finally my delhi trip came to an end but can't wait to find some excuse for another trip.

Sometime ago my comment / inquiry after coming out of the famous Mahipalpur Spa and seeing the board of Sushanto luxury Spa had elicited response from our Guru AntiKlpd (and surprise of surprises he had not got even a HJ there) as well as a few others. The impression I got from all their reports was that this would be a Spa with bigger rooms and ambiance and class a cut above the rest. So with great expectation on my last day in Delhi (this trip) on the way to the Airport made a foray for the Sushanto Luxury Spa.
However the overall experience was below expectation and even below average. With such high charges and not so good ambiance or cleanliness it really is not worth it. Our old favorite at Mahipalpur is by far much much better. And so finally my Delhi Trip came to an end but can't wait to find some excuse for another trip.Have been reading about your search for the holy grail, wish that you find it soon.

was in ggn for a short visit. tried the usual things. jd and cl's. not a great experience- sp (woman) asked me to come to some hotel in sector 13. visited the place, looked appalling / seedy and the receptionist asked for id. beat a hasty exit. next step as expected visited a mall and surprisingly landed at jmd. of all places landed at l*land. was tired in any case and opted for a 90 min session. the experience was decent, no extras offered. the ne therapist smiled and said no, perhaps because she was the one who was seated at the reception. hopefully will have a better experience the next time.

After much planning and information gathering, my most recent trip to India left me with barely enough time to visit the (in) famous Blue Led spa in GGN. As soon as I entered the mall I was able to recognize many other places I had read about on this forum. Anyway, I selected Balinese massage and paid the guy at the desk (papa san?). 1) Blue Led Saket- During my first visit at their Gurgaon location I got the indication they are opening new spa in Saket. Finally I accidently found it in famous mall where rock cafe is.
