" And Bulai, I bet that a hardcore poon hound like you has been into older pussy many times in your younger days. Come on - 'fess up."

You know what, I'm not particularly proud of the fact, but it is a fact, I have never "been with" a girl/woman older than myself. I started with girls a couple of years younger and the gap got bigger and bigger - now it's about 40 years! Maybe I'm missing something?

Hi guys,

Have a question. I am currently knocking the back out of a young lady who loves to be stimulated. The only prob is she is small, about 5', and I'm' having a hard time finding something useful to stimulate her with before and during sex. I went to the shop on 2nd lvl at ambassador mall, all they had was a vibrating ball which I bought and my gf calls an earthquake machine and won't use, because the minimum setting is still faster than an epileptic on a hotplate, or something so frigging big you could use it on the sydney harbour tunnel. Is there anywhere else that sells a variety of sex toys of various sizes?

Cheers and thanks

Hi forum members,

I was wondering if anyone knows a good program or any good books you can buy, to help me learn the Indonesian language, very well? I have heard of a Rosetta Stone book, and one called Pimesular, or sothing like that. If any one knows which is the best, for learning, could you reply to this message.

I think there two others Mall in JKT, which you guys can find gals or freelance gals.

1. Kalibata Mall; located in Jl. Kalibata Raya...South JKT.

* I rarely hunted here but I heard rate for the gals around 200,000 - 300,000 rupiahs per short time (2-3 hours). Other option if you dwell in South JKT instead of hunting gals to Atrium mall in Central JKT.

2. Metropolitan Mall; located in border between JKT and Bekasi (a satelite town near JKT)....actually it is a part of Bekasi.

Just follow Jl. Inspeksi Saluran / Kalimalang Raya from Bypass heading to Bekasi...this mall is located in the right side, or if you know "jalan tol" to Bekasi barat or west bekasi....turn left after you pay "jalan tol" and just follow this street, you will see this mall at your left. Rate is similar to Kalibata Mall.

I think you can find other "Delta group" here...in Bekasi. Spa with HJ service.
here is the address,
Delta Bekasi;
Jl. A. Yani. Komp. Ruko Bekasi Mas, Blok B 9-11, Bekasi.

Almost all of the little shops that you see by the side of the road selling viagra and cialis have toys of various kinds, although the range may not be that good. There are a few on Jl Casablanca, and one in Tanah Abang that I visited a long time ago - might not be there anymore.

Otherwise, if you visit Singapore, try:

House Of Condom · Lucky Plaza, 304 Orchard Road #B1-12 & #B1-01, Singapore 238863

Quite expensive compared to American prices, but a good range and a fun shop.

If the clit vibrator is too strong, you can also try wrapping it in a small piece of cloth - like, say a (clean!) handkerchief. That softens it a bit.

I was told today that there's this service currently available in Indonesia to which mobile phone users are able to subscribe to -called GRT (?), or something like it- which enables them to trace the caller id (the phone number) of the caller.

Anyone has heard of this service? I'm far away, unable to check and verify myself, so would much appreciate some feedback.

Presumably with this service, you could trace both local and overseas phone numbers, even though the "send my number" setting on the calling mobile is switched off.

If it's true (is it?)- it'll definitely be something to be aware of, as it could potentially hold some damaging consequences.. for instance, if you'd accidentally call from (overseas) office/home to a girl- she would be able to find out your phone number and starts calling you back on that number, for what ever reason she may have, cheers.

I don't know whether it has been mentioned before in this thread, but to those who don't know: if you use a Mentari prepaid card while in Indonesia, you can make international calls (I've called to Spain, England, The Netherlands and Colombia) at the same rate as if calling a local number. Just press 01016 followed by country code+areal code+phonenumber. It's much easier and cheaper than calling from a Wartel!

I suppose that other providers provide the same service, but I don't know the access code of those. Maybe others can help?

a 10 minute call to the USA runs about 12,500 Rps, and a 10 minute call to UAE is about 10,000 Rps.

I think that is a good deal.

Anyone else?

I think around 25-35 PPs in that area; PP is Panti Pijat / old fashioned massage parlour in Indonesia.
Some wellknown PP in that area/ Hayam Wuruk area are:

- Kartika
- Berlian
- Royal Mas

Only these three massage parlour have different procedures with others (below), their procedures is Soapy massage (with soap and breasts) finally happy ending BJ and FJ.

- Ibu Linda
- Ibu Bandung
- Serba Sehat
- Sinta
- Tin-Tin
- Mexico
- Anggrek
- Others etc.

Normal massage and finally happy ending BJ and FJ.

I quoted my own post so that we may choose based on their procedures, and please correct me if I make a mistake.

notice: I suggest you to see the room first, also fixed price for one hour (all-in).

This has nothing to do with Indonesia. However, on this web site in the Thailand section, I just viewed some of the most beautiful pictures I've seen posted. If you check out the last 10 or so pictures posted by username "Alex336" in the Thailand section, you won't be sorry. The last 5 or so he posted are just buildings in Bangkok and such, but the ones prior to that are girls. Even the building shots are fantastic though. Just great stuff.

a new website. I ever been here...for high end spa such as Beverly Hills...we better choose PRC instead of local gals. I heard tip for fuckjob for local WG around 800,000 rupiahs (so you will spend more than a millions for a local WG !) meanwhile PRC rate around 1,500,000 rupiahs / two times cum if we want ( an hour in the room and 30 minutes in whirlpool with them). Compare it with Malaysian board and in USD off course.

oyenk,

you mean the above 3 mp provide soapy massages? like those over at b'kok mp? how long the duration/damages?
hope oyenk doesn't mind if i respond.

kartika is well-known for its thai-style soapy massage. you pick one girl (or even better, pick two girls), go upstairs, and for the first 20 minutes of so you receive a high-quality body-to-body soapy massage, both front and back. then you stand in the tub, get rinsed off, then back to the massage bed for a head-to-toe body licking, blow job and covered full sex.

there's no hassles or having to ask, it's automatically assumed that that is why you are there. the service here is very consistent, they train the girls very well. the house fee is 250,000 rupiah for a one-hour session that usually runs at least 55 minutes (i.e. most ladies won't rush you) and the girl will expect at least 50,000 rupiah as a tip.

there's usually 25-30 girls to choose from. many of them are "not thin" and not necessarily that attractive, but some of then are fairly attractive with good bodies. i've never seen an **** girl here; however several of them are pushing 30. i guarantee you'll find at least one or two girls who you'll like. many mongers have had good luck with cindy however there are several other good choices here as well.

berlian and royal mas also provide this service but it's not assumed, you have to ask ahead of time for it, and only a few of the girls (usually the older ones) will know how to do it.

imho every man in jakarta should experience at least one two-girl session at kartika before they die :d

You're welcome!

Just wanted to reiterate what I wrote in a post on the Jakarta thread - Kartika increased its house fee this week by 10,000 rupiah, to 260,000 rupiah. That's the first increase in the house fee in 3 years - I guess they had to pay for the new green towels that they're now using :D

My understanding is that the girl receives no more than 100,000 of that amount, which explains why the girls all expect at least 50,000 rupiah as a tip, and hope that you'll give 100,000 rupiah as a tip.

The amnount of the tip is up to you - for me it depends on the level of service provided (which is usually very good to excellent) and whether or not I plan to choose the girl again in the future. For example, I've always tipped Cindy 100,000 rupiah, because she's always been worth it, and I always plan to see her again soon. Remember - Kartika is one of the few MPs in Jakarta where the girl always has the right to refuse to go with a customer.

girls in travel receive around 80,000 rupiahs per guest in an hour with that guest, the same share in royal, mtr, sariayu, rasa sayang...etc.

i ever heard that therapist in spa receive 8,000 til 15,000 rupiahs per session (minimal 2 sessions), so per 2 session she receives 16,000 - 30,000 rupiahs. this explains that a therapist receive lower than a wg in jkt. thatsway many therapists offer plus plus service to their customer.

(example from middle up spa and bordello).

Thanks, Jubilo.. yes, I know about the hiding of the caller ID on a mobile phone, it's quite easy. It can be manually switched on and off on most modern mobile phones and receivers only get "private number" or "no caller id" displayed on the phone.

What I am interested in, however, is this new extra service that seems to be available, which not only will display the calling number on your phone (always), but also the location of a caller.

For instance, if someone would call you from Bekasi or Kemang- the phone number being dialed from plus the location (say, +628...... - Bekasi) would be displayed on your mobile phone.

As I was told, this particular service (GTRS perhaps?) was bought at Roxy Mas, Jkt.

Go to the intersection of Jalan Mangga Besar and Jalan Hayam Wuruk. With the Mercure Rekso Hotel behind you, you should see a building on the left-hand side with a large CFC sign, that's California Fried Chicken, flanked by an Indomart and an Alfamart.

If you face the CFC sign, there's an alley on your right, it's the first alley off of Jalan Hayam Wuruk to the south of Jalan Mangga Besar, that's where you'll find Kartika, Berlian and Royal Mas mps. You should be able to easily see the signs for all 3 mps from the road. The Suisse Bakery is on the south corner of the alley.

Three alleys further south is where the notorious Stadium is located (right next to the Mangga Besar bus stop).

The nearest stops on the TransJakarta bus line are Olimo (just north) and Mangga Besar (just south).

In return for this info, I look forward to reading a good field report from you soon!

I'm writing this in the hope that newcomers to Jakarta will see it rather than for experienced airport using forum members. When I came in last time I was approached as usual by the taxi touts and "legitimate" taxi services. I actually witnessed them suceed in getting two guys, in seperate deals, to pay 400k and 500k for a taxi into Jakarta. This is bonkers: these are the same guys who will be paying 1 or 2 juta for a 300k juta girl. I did my usual thing of going to Arrivals and getting a Bluebird which had just dropped off - costing me 100k including tolls and tip (85k on the meter).

I think Menteng was pretty specific - to get what you seem to want, go to BATS at Hotel Shangri-La and CJ's at Hotel Mulia. Any taxi driver will get you there. He makes the point, correctly of course, that the girls there will, in the main, not really be "freelancers" though they will probably do a good job of convincing you that's what they are by claiming that the money they will want from you is for the kind of (fictitous) one-off family problem he mentions.

Don't pay more than Rp 500k for all night - most will want a million (100USD) or more. The same girls can be had for Rp 300k but to be honest, it sounds like you won't have time to hunt them down elsewhere.

Miss January, Tasya, the last time I spoke her was also in 2005. Back then she'd said she was 3 month pregnant with her then Scottish boyfriend. I don't know if that was the case- but where would she be nowadays? Haven't seen her since.I think brother Dorman, as a regular at jl Faletehan, might be able to answer these questions. No, no, he's not the Scottish guy :o

As far as I know, she has never given birth. She lived with the Scot in Jakarta and in China for quite a while though. Last time I saw her she was very thin and had lost her radiance.

She seemed to be strugling with the treatment and she really looked pitiful and a shadow of what she once looked like. Very sad as she was quite a nice gal. Hope she has recovered somehow.

Just got this info from local forum (in which the admin is friend of mine)...

Fashion Spa and Hotel, is located in Jl. Gunung Sahari 12/2 - North JKT.

Grand opening August 8th 2008...I think the owner is local chinese (8 is lucky number for chinese people).

The owner of this spa is PT. Tumbuh Sehat Makmur (TSM) which recently has built 4 spa; Tematik, Puri Sehat, Griya Sehat, Paradise.

I think You've been in Indonesia before, eventhough I am not in Indo right now; I can predict that the location would be in Jl. Gunung Sahari raya (Senen Atrium heading to Ancol).
I believe it's not that hard to find it as long as you wish to explore it.

I try to brows street directory and here is...

http://www.streetdirectory.co.id/indonesia/jakarta/travel.php?travel_id=&travel_site=7141&travel_no=&x=703119.8099&y=9320072.3451&star=104&viewmode=&level=5#map

this street (jl. Gunung Sahari 12) could be new street, or when street directory was printed...it was not a street yet.

and this link indicates its landmark !

http://www.streetdirectory.co.id/indonesia/jakarta/whats_nearby.php?travel_site=7141

I will post if there is hint or something.

Yes, I think bro...

Some places in JKTwhich were built lately have the concepts..."one stop shopping"; Hotel plus short time service...Spa (with plus2 service)...and entertainment (karaoke, resto etc).

If you have gone to Travel, this Fashion hotel n spa might similar with it...

Some places have the same concepts are; Travel hotel n spa, Malioboro hotel n spa, Classic hotel n spa, Alexis hotel n spa, Beverly hills hotel n spa.

Be there next month, I hope you can give us report about this new place...it is not possible for me cause I am not in JKT.

* And nice photo reports you had in Travel, I believe Cha-cha is not ladyboy !

Hi Guys,

This is my first post in the Indonesia area since it will be my first trip to Bali. I did some reading in the forum, but haven't quite decided where to stay yet. I was hoping to find a decent place with a nice room and possibly a private pool to take some locals back to, but haven't found squat.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a place in Bali that still may be available and have private pool? I'm trying to find a place that's gonna be around $80 US pr night if there's such a place there.

Once I get to Bali and get settled, I promise to throw some decent posts from my travels.

Thanks.

Not only is it your first post in the Indonesia area, it's your first post anywhere on ISG!

Also, you've posted this in the wrong section, this belongs in the Bali thread. If you RTFF (read the f' forum) there, you should find the answer to your question.

Here's one suggestion - try the Puri Bambu Hotel, just south of the airport in Jimbaran, walking distance from the beach where all of the famous seafood restaurants are. The Puri Bambu is designed in the Bali architectural style, garden setting, nice pool, decent rooms, $50 or less with breakfast included. They offer free pickups from the airport, and they're less than 10 minutes from all of the Kuta bars.

P.S. Many people with only one post (and a post that asks a question, as opposed to giving useful information) never post again. I hope that you are the exception, I look forward to reading some informative posts from you soon.

As I remember, The Abian Srama Hotel, Massage and Spa has a group of
small houses that they rent out to short term visitors, mostly Japanese.
This is a new facility and is located outside of Sanur. I do not remember the
rate, but I would think that you could negociate a deal.
Each small house had a pool, not very large with a small garden around the
pool. Also a massage facility on site.
This site is on the road to the left, off of the By-Pass just before Bali Bargin Hunter. Or you can go to the Main Spa just after Mc D's on the By Pass.
email...abian@dps.centrin.net.id ph: 791 3864

Maybe Ill Dom can elaborate on this as he is familular with Bali. Also they have a driver to service your transportation needs.
This is just outside of the WG zone in Sanur. But very quiet if you want to party. This would be the perfect situation for someone that wants to have
private affairs in a quiet location without the noise and crazyness of Kuta.

And as MS reccomended ..payback to the site, and contribute.

Hi bros,

A while back I sought advice on where or how I would find an indon couple who would put a show on while I watched. I have still not been able to fulfill this wish and again turn to fellow ISG mbrs to see if anyone knows where to start looking. Oyenk offered advice on one of the local papers, which I purchased, but due to my limited indon and non-english ability of the guy, it turned out he was a pimp for his girl and we met with totally different aims in mind. Although in hindsight the meeting between us was humourous, at the time it was frustrating.

Sooooo, can anyone offer me advice on where to go/look. I want to watch a couple put a full show on for me. Any help appreciated. Age isn't a worry, but if I can be a bit picky, appearance is.

Thanks for any offers

Think about the time difference. I remember trying to catch the NBA playoffs.
No way Jose!

We now have cable and get CNN sports and ESPN. They rerun the games at
a more respectable time.

But most of the visitors in INDO are Ausie's or Euro-Trash, and they want to watch their sports, and they hate our sissy NFL. So be cool with the need to get your NFL fix.

Make sure your Hotel provides cable and has sports channels.

Unless your hotel gets ESS (jvc of ESPN and Star Sports), chances are slim that NFL will be broadcasted live or even on tape. Indonesia isn't a market that has historically bought NFL games (I used to represent the NFL network placement years back).

One suggestion is for you to set up slingbox at home, and then watch on your computer in Bali. It works great as long as you've got bandwidth both back home and whereever you log on from.

Sigh, I hang my head in shame.

Last night I had a night out on the blok, a favourite past time. On the way home I noticed a cutie on the side of the road just up from Bali hai. I know theres always the street hookers in this area, and I must admit I have had the odd BBBJ in the car, but this girl was very nice to look at.

So we negotiated, all in service including BJ was 300, 000, but she wanted hotel. She took me to the two-lips hotel. Sorry, tulip hotel at cost of 195, 000, not the best place I've been to, but I was keen to get down to business with this lass.

Once in the room the attitude changed. Would not give BBBJ as negotiated, insisted on covered, then whinged the whole way thru it. In between whining, she would hack up all kinds of mucas and phlegm and just spit on the floor, a real mood-setter if ever I've encountered one, and must have read somewhere that if you squeeze a mans nuts tight enough he will enjoy the experience more.

Anyway after 10 minutes of this crap I told her to shut up, get dressed and give me my money back, I was taking her back to the street, because she was not providing as promised. Much discussion took place as the prospect of giving the $$$ back did not appeal to her, so she agreed to BBBJ. Things only got worse, at one stage I thought she was going to vomit on me. Eventually she agreed to a limited photo shoot and rogering, no BJ. Of course all I have is my crappy camera phone so the end results were dark grainy crap. I was 'satisified' if not happy, and she was happy about the money, so it sort of all worked out in the end.

The moral? With all the good stuff on hand at the bars, spending time with them and then picking up a street hooker just don't make sense. Lesson learnt. If you are cruising the blok and get in negs with a girl whos name sounds like schally (I told her I wouldn't give anything out on the internet about her. But that was before she reniged on the deal! ), beware.

The maribaya bar on the 6th floor is already closed for ramadan, however business still goes on. As I approached the hotel I was intercepted by a lady with a few dollies next to her asking if I wanted massage, I declined, not knowing maribaya was already closed. Inside, as soon as I walked to the elevators one of the 'porters' got in the elevator with me, never said a word, just pressed 6 and rode with me. At the floor, as I got out to turn left, he said 'closed, this way' and led me to a room. Same deal as last year, a selection of ladies in the room, you take your choice and go to another room. Selection was very, very ordinary, and the cost is now 500, 000 to cover the cost of the room. If last year is any indication, I wonder if they will keep the new price as the going rate once ramadan is over?

IMHO, the increase in cost from 400,000 rupiah to 500,000 rupiah is to cover the cost of the extortion/tip charged by the porter to bring you to the room where the girls are. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything that you could do about it at the time that you had visited, since you were not aware that Maribaya had been raided and closed.

I wrote about this extortion last year during Ramadan here on ISG. Back then, a few girls had rented rooms on the 6th floor and charged 350,000 rupiah, the same rate as that being charged by Maribaya at that time. The girl who I visited several times during Ramadan repeatedly reminded me to call her ahead of time when I was coming to see her, and to stay in the lobby and wait for her until she came downstairs to personally escort me to her room. She told me that the porters were demanding a 100,000 rupiah tip to bring a potential customer up to the 6th floor.

What to do if you don't have a specific girl to call ahead of time, but you want to avoid having to pay the 100,000? My guess would be (if the porter gets on the elevator with you) to ride up to the 5th floor on the elevator, then walk up one flight of stairs - it shouldn't take you very long to figure out which rooms are being rented by the working girls.

I seriously doubt if Maribaya would raise the house fee to 500,000 rupiah after Ramadan, as that would definitely keep away many prospective customers. Although you never know...........

My girl had told me she is the 4th floor. The moment I got into the lift, the porter pressed 6th floor. I pressed the 2nd floor button and got out and then got into the other lift and went to the 4th floor, straight to the girl's Room. I paid 400,000 each to the two girls and had a threesome. Whenever the proter gets in, just press the wrong button, preferably to some other floor lower than the floor you intend to go and you will pay the exact amount to the girl. If the porter accompanies you, then you will pay 100K extra, since you have to pay the porter charge for guiding you. This has been the tradition in Hotel Melawai always. I have been experiencing this for the past 5 years. It used to be 50 K extra till 2006. Last year it got to 100K more.

I think brother Dorman, as a regular at jl Faletehan, might be able to answer these questions. No, no, he's not the Scottish guy :o

As far as I know, she has never given birth. She lived with the Scot in Jakarta and in China for quite a while though. Last time I saw her she was very thin and had lost her radiance.

Sorry for coming to this thread rather late, Tasya was indeed working in Highway but I believe she has since quit due perhaps to irreconcilable personality differences with other staff members. She is looking well but not quite the sexpot of a few years back and she now has a hideous cross style tattoo on the back of her neck.

She's a bit less stand offish these days and I believe her long term boyfriend (as opposed to any short termers about whom I know nothing) is overseas on the rigs somehwere.

I've never quite been able to figure out that girl, she hangs around the bars, flirts with the blokes but I have to honestly say I've never seen her up to any actual mischief, perhaps she does it in a very subtle way as the Blok has a thousand eyes and as many wagging tongues.

As the man says, if it walks like a duck (or any other type of poultry), talks like a duck then it's probably, well, let's leave it at that.

6) Classic spa & Hotel (high end spa)
7) Sumo Spa (high end spa)...thanks to Cognac bro !
8) Puri Sehat Spa
9) Grand Comfort Spa
11) Beverly Hills Spa (high end spa)...info from Dunhill Lights bro (he's from management or an owner maybe)
* I summarize from local forum.

I think all high end spa open during ramadan.

For Middle up site; Travel (285,000 rupiahs), Grand Comfort and Puri Sehat (both spa with tip FJ around 200,000-300,000 rupiahs).

* Lower class mongering destination will stop their activities including Kalijodo.

** Other option; book her outside...well, hotel short time rate is around 150,000 rupiahs plus her rate (approx. 300,000 rupiahs I figure).
If you book outside I suggest to pick pregnant one and hire a Tukang Ojek and make their attachments (be a Ben Dover in JKT)...in order to continue Dorman bro story about Pregnant WG and Tukang Ojek hahaha ! just kidding...

Hi, are there any guys who have either a SIM card which is XL, Mentari, or Simpati, who are currently in Europe? any way you can turn on your phone to see if you can receive and send SMS?

Feel free to PM a response, so as to not clutter this up if you wish.

Thanks a million.

I'm in Colombia now, but when I was in Holland, my Mentari SIM card functioned. I have to tell you though, that I activated the international functions in a Mentari agency in Jakarta.

I will be back in Jakarta in October, travelling on a UK passport. I just noticed that there are no "totally blank" pages left - Will immigration/visa guy overlay on a non-blank page or insert into passport loose? Or do I need to get new passport? I will be buying the usual $10 7 day visa

As far as i am aware there is no harmonization on this, it all depends on the country and in particular the immigration officer. If i was you i would'nt take any chances

It could cause problems but probably nothing that a crisp twenty dollar bill secreted inside the passport wouldn't sort out.

Heavens above no! It's just that it seemed to work for me last year when I showed up with a visa on arrival but no return ticket, he threatened to have be sent back on the next flight to Singapore but amazingly he discovered that he could in fact allow me to enter when I discreetly palmed him the 20 bill. On another occasion I overstayed my visa by one day and a hullaballoo was avoided in a similar fashion, as also happened one time I lost the little stamped card that you're supposed to retain for when you leave the country, so no I would hate anyone to think that a little bit of oleh-oleh will get you out of difficulties with the immigration boys.

However in fairness I should point out that these incidents happened at the individual checking desks whereas the visa stamp is inserted into the passport at the little glass booth and I'm not sure a subtle transaction would be possible there as it's quite crowded with officials and other travellers.

Speaking of custom's officials, I remember reading about one of the top guys at DPS airport a few months ago, refusing entry to a older couple from Oz, as their passports were going to expire within the required 6 months. After a lenghty discussion, he let them in, but they had to pay something like 3,000-4,000 USD to the guy. They immediately went to the top guy, and explained everything. The customs offical was either demoted, or fired. IIRC

Sometimes in Indonesia, not often, there is justice.

First, you may not be allowed to leave the UK without blank pages. Go get some!

RE the 6 month rule, it’s valid and almost universal. The elderly OZ couple overpaid for the “exemption” -- US$200 and a valid onward ticket will be ok in Denpasar, as I know from first hand experience. (My airhead Significant Other...) But the immigration officials are perfectly within their rights to refuse entry to the traveler AND impose a fine on the airline that permitted them to board. Friends arriving in (transit) in Europe were recently re-routed to their home country for having less than six months on their passports.

What's a monger to do!

Any competent Airline will not let you board a flight to Indonesia if you have less then 6 months left in the Passport.

KITAS holders, (such as myself), are exempt from having to have an onward flight with the MERP (Multple Exit Re Entry Permit, but often I am often challenged about this by counter staff in Singapore and Australia. Qantas are very strict, and a Supervisor told me the Airline had to pay fines so management got tough.

Will immigration/visa guy overlay on a non-blank page or insert into passport loose? A passport is supposed to be a record of where you went and where you come from and no record from it are to be deleted. Even if officials were willing to "overlay" a stamped page, it could adversely affect you in unexpected way. For example if your passport shows an entry stamp on the 15th of July and the August 15th exit stamp is hidden below an overlaid entry visa, you have no way to prove you left the country within the time alloted.

Bribing to enter a country at all cost is not always a good idea since you have no certainty of being able to bribe your way out again.

Running out of pages is a pain in the neck. If I want a 64-page passport instead of the usual 32 I have to shell out 241 euros. A 32-page passport costs me 81 euros. Don't ask me why nor from what sh*t of a country I come from.

This is easy to do in the US, and not very expensive. You can pay more to have it expedited. No idea about UK regulations in this regard.

I recently found myself at the Visa on entry desk with no blank page. I didn't fancy getting on a plane back to UK which is what the guy behind the desk said. 20 USD (extra) later I was on my way with the required sticker on page 48 - the last but one page on the extra thick passport.

I hold a US passport and I have passport service ammened and add page to it many time as long it is not expire, it is free of charge you only pay for post stamp for mailing to passport service, you can also go to the US consulant over sea to have it done there for free.

Never tamper with any passport it is again the law to do so, I have a friend remove a visa sticker from his US passport, on return US immgration held him for question and fine him after he return to US from China.

US immigration can be (rightly) tough. I hold two passports and often travel around using whichever one is to hand. A few years back I went to the US on holiday and entered on one passport and then took a holiday in the Caribbean flying out of New York. On the way back I unthinkingly used the other passport to return to NY. The immigration officer was quite sharp and noticed there were no US entry stamps on the passport I was using yet here I was entering the US on a return ticket with no evidence of ever having come out of there in the first place.

Well it was all explained handy enough but it could have gone badly if I hadn't got some sort of logical explanation and even then he was clearly in two minds about pulling me in for a closer examination (and then he might have discovered evidence of my trip to Cuba!) so it's worth bearing in mind when travelling in the United States, their immigration officials are of a somewhat higher grade than the usual minimum wage government worker.

I couldn't agree more but sad to note that after the Sept 11 they have become very paranoid although I dont blame them for it is tah sake of the security of thier country! I had a friend who entire family flew 1st class from Malaysia to Tokyo then on to Florida or LA (can't remember exactly which airport) and the entire family including the little 2 year old was asked to go into a seperate room to be fully body checked including thier luggage and clothing and shoes! I remember pre Sept 11 when I arrived in LA and the officials would welcome you with a smile and ask me where I was going & made some personal recommendations as where to visit in LA! Those were the days! ;)

Well, with Ramadan well and truely over, I have been back to my regular haunt at Santosa in Dr Murwadi. I tried Ibu Julia's last week for the first time, it was ok except for one problem and would appreciate any clarification fm the forum. When I enquired as to 'harga', the mamasan told me negotiable with the girl. I insisted on knowing the basic 'massage' price but she wouldn't reveal it. Eventually she told me 150, 000, which is marginally more expensive than santosa but not enuf to worry about. The session was ok, tho the girl, cinta, was not keen on BBBJ but took to it like hungry cannibals eating santa clause once it was covered. After the session, I gave her 200, as I do a santosa, and the complaints came that the new price is 250, not 200. I know santosa is still the same as pre-ramadan, 125k + 50-75k tip, but didn't want to cause a scene at a place I hadnt' been before, so paid the extra 50. Yes, I know we are talking about a trivial amount, but its the economical principal here. So, can anyone vouch if this info was tru, or did the poor mouse get burned again? Hehehe

Cheers fellas

Hi guys,

I have 2 visitors fm aust coming up on Wednesday and wanna hit the tiles that night. They are about 20y younger than me so the places I usualy go may not have the type of girl they are looking for. Where is a good bar on a wed night that would expected to have a range of good lookers in the 22-30 age bracket. Last time I took them to top gun and my bar and d'place but only top gun was rocking but the girls were either too young or too old, and the ohter places (which I enjoyl.) just nothing was happening on a wed night.

Appreciate any infor

Two good recommendations for young lads who like to party, those bars are not pick up joints per se but handsome young Australian blokes should still find them to their liking as I believe is Black Cat in Arcadia Senayan which I believe is quite popular.

Sigh, it is with great trepidation that I must finally leave Jakarta, a place I have loved and mongered around affectionately for over the past 10 years.

To all newcomers, I cannot rate this forum high enough, it is a valuable research tool and saves many hours/days of frustrating searching, just by RTFF.

To the more senior members of the forum, I thank you for all your post, I cannot begin to tell you how usefull your information has been, and I hope all newbies recognise your experience and pay it the homage it deserves.

Personally, I still rate Santoso as exceptional daytime value for money, but it has changed a bit since idul fitri. Ruko block at Kemayoran is always interesting if you don't mind walking around that kind of environement, but there are some absolute honeys to be had there at a good price. Kartika will never change, Berlian is entertaining, and Lindas is good for anything you like, if you catch my drift.

My fav hunting ground was always the block. While Bats, CJ's, TigaPuluh, Red Square, dragonfly etc were good for outstanding looking girls, sometimes the thrill of the hunt was killed by the price tag hehehe. I still beleive you can pull exceptional looking women from top gun and my bar at realistic prices (sometimes at no charge at all, and thats always a good price).

Anyway fella's, happy hunting and I will always envy you for being in this, what I consider the best value for money hunting ground in south east asia.

All the best. Thanks to all for your kind thoughts. I certainly have not had enough of this place, but alas my work in jakarta is done so its time to move on, back to aus, but I'll be back.

Right, Santoso is located on Dr Murwadi, Grogol, and I was put onto it by the irrepressible Oyenk hehehe. I enjoyed it. There are many panti pijats on dr murwardi and I have tried them all, some have a better factility, but overall, I kept going back to santoso and have never been disappointed. Cost is 125000 for a massage, pluse tip. I used to just give 200, 000 but others give 50 tip for a sum of 175000. The rooms are small and dark but your eyes soon become acustomed to the environement. You pick your girl fm the pics out the front, get shown to a room and wait. For your money you get massage, some good, some not as good, a hand crank, a BBBJ and fj. I personally only ever went for the BBBJ. Most do cim, a couple there swallow, god bless them. Mutual pleasure is at the discretion of th girl. One, who give great BBBJ cim/swallow won't let you touch her. My favs are, in order, 30, 16, 8, 36 and 13, who is a bit ordinary to look at but has a mouth like warm silk. Lindas is around the corner fm Kartika. If your into anal, most the girls there will accommodate you. I don't particularly like the place and I can't explain y, but its a horses for courses type of place and occasionaly if you like to try something different, you can usually find someont there to play with.

Kemayoran is an entertaining place. Its located on Jl Industry and the entrance is almost directly opposite the entry to the shangrilah hotel entry on jl industry. If your new to the place it can be a bit daunting walking thru the complex, but there are plenty of little 'shops' with girls to encourage you to come in. Some are good for fs, some are ordinary and really massage only. 19, 42, 47 and 52 are good places. Cost is 180, 000 for massage plus tip, which can range fm 20, 000 to 100, 000, depending on wot goes on. I have never had a hassle in the complex, but there will be plenty of eyes on you as you walk around.

Another place I enjoyed, apart fm melawai, also on dr murwadi, was julias. Just down the rd fm santoso, the facilities are a bit better but the girls are not as attractive, well not on the days I have gone there. Cost is the same, but the rooms are a bit bigger and a bit more private.

Hope that helps

Will give a yell when I'm coming bakc up

Happy mongering, I will continue to read with jealous interest.

The place is as described by mr fieldmouse, though I have to say getting there is a pain, even following the toll road. The main disadvantage of all of the spas on jln muwardi is their location. Anyway, I chose no. 19, nofa, based upon a brief review in another forum. Not the best BJ, but really an expert at 'empot ayam'. In fact, it was hard to extract my well-squeezed member. Hmmm. Why did I ever leave? 150 to the house, and 50 to the girl.

Hello everyone,

I mostly frequent Thailand for my mongering trips, as I have been going to Thailand long before I moved to Malaysia. But a few years ago I decided on a recommendation from a Malaysian friend that I should go to Batam Island if I really wanted a good time! It is a long story on Batam, but it was not that good! So I decided to go. One of my staff was going to a wedding in Johor Bahru (JB) the same long weekend I was going on my trip and so I hitched a ride with him. He assured me he knew his way around JB. He actually did not know his way around so we got lost on the outskirts of town. We ended up on Highway 1, the old highway that runs north south on the Malaysian west coast. By the time we found a place to stop and ask for directions to the ferry jetty the guy told us we might as well go about 20 Km north to a small jetty as it was closer. We got to this "town" which had one road that lead to the pier! So I go to buy my ticket to Batam and I am told that they do not service Batam! But that they service "abc" and from there I can get to Batam. Now this is the problem I do not remember the name of this small town/island. When I arrived on the Island I was told the last ferry had gone for the day and I would have to go the next day. So I had to stay the night.

I have looked at my VISA in my passport, and it so happens that where the name is has a stamp over it! I also did not keep the ferry ticket, stupid me. Man oh man was this the best place I have ever been for mongering!

So let me describe the Island:

It has 2 bigger (8-9 story) Hotels and many small hotels.

ALL of the streets are small and run in one direction, north south. Save just a few cross roads.

Description of Brothel area:

When you turn off the road into the area you must go down this sharp short hill.

The enter area is on a slight slope.

The Brothel area is an abandoned housing development area. It has one road that goes in a circle. Houses on both sides, and ALL houses have girls in-side.

I would guess the road is about 500m in its circumference.

Now the report on the girls I had that one night I stayed:

I did one walk around the brothels and got drawn to this one area where the road makes a turn in the circle. This very hyper girl comes running out of her house screaming and jumping around saying "Hello Hello! ". She runs over to me grabs my arm and said I go with you handsome man. Now I have learned my lesson from the past, and usually these kind of girls turn out to be more "fun" then you think! But she was drop dead gorgeous! The only down side was her voice, It was a bit raspy. Like Darth Vadar! But after awhile of talking with her, it seemed to suite her and make her more sexy. That could have been minime doing the reasoning though! So I decide to take her back to my room. I think I paid about 450, 000 for this honor. She turned out to be a minx! I have never and I mean never had more than 2 pops in a day, thats just me, can't do it! That night I had 6 pops! She would suck you and rub you until your little man woke up again! We always used a condom, but after she would always take of the condom throw it in the trash and the "Clean me nice" (as she said) with her mouth. I'm getting weak knees just writing about it! The next morning she goes back and I head of to Batam to a very shity experience that is capped of by a taxi guy threatening to cut me! So my question to the wise ones here. Do any of you recognize this place? I have tried Google maps/Earth. Searched the Internet like no ones business asked all of the long time Batam boys I know here in KL. But no one knows. Someone has to, there are to many brothels for such a small island in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks

Slylock

Skylock, is it possible you were in Tanjung Balai Karimun (or Pulau Karimunbesar)? There is a ferry to there from Malaysia (and from Singapore) and there is a thread in the Indonesia forum of ISG. Just my best guess.

Hello everyone,

Now this is the problem I do not remember the name of this small town/island. When I arrived on the Island I was told the last ferry had gone for the day and I would have to go the next day. So I had to stay the night.

I have looked at my VISA in my passport, and it so happens that where the name is has a stamp over it! I also did not keep the ferry ticket, stupid me. Man oh man was this the best place I have ever been for mongering!

It sounds as if you were in the Villa brothel complex in Tanjung Balai on Karimun Island. There is a thread titled "Tanjung Balai Karimun."

Glad that the Indonesian Govt has made this a ruling becoz a lot of people dont realise how dangerous a live handphone can be to the on baord navigation especailly to the older planes thats mostly found in these regions!

Maybe only 30 % of Indonesian passengers...who do not care about it.

but others already realise that live GSM mobile phone could damage navigation system, I heard this thing 10-15 years ago...

No idea about live CDMA mobile phone, some sources said that live CDMA mobile phone might not damage navigation system in the plane.

Actually Oyenk, I am no pilot, but I have been told HP signals don't damage radio signals on aircraft. My understanding is the reason they want phones off, is so everyone can pay attention in case of an emergency.

Any commercial pilots out there to refute this?

On a Discovery Science show it was proven that not all GSM singnals will disrupt the radio signals of an aeroplane but please bear in mind that there are new models coming out each day and all you need is one with the right corresponding signal and next thing you know, you're family is praying for you! Apparantly the danger is on the older model planes used in these regions. Newer planes face less risk but still risks none the less! More details can be read @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_phones_on_aircraft

As a long time commercial pilot, I always get a laugh when I read about the HP issues. It may come as a surprise for you to find out that we use HP's for many of our dispatch communications. The main issue that I have is that there is an annoying buzz over our headsets when the signals are being sent and recieved. There is no reason to be worried about disruption of the navigation signal. I would be more worried about the pilots giving more attention to their phones and not watching where they are going. :)
Many our you may recall a few years back when one of our "local" airlines got lost and flew around for a few hours until they were able to land at the wrong airport? The airlines were quick to try and blame the passengers for using HP's during the flight as the cause. Very funny.

Easiest way is to say "tee-dah condom." Realistically you don't even need to say that, just "no" and/or sign language should suffice.

But I'm curious - why take this chance? The risk of catching HIV or another STD is higher than the "official" statistics might indicate.

If you don't believe me, check out the post by new member Ratmagnet that he wrote on January 28, 2009 in the Bandung section of the Indonesia board - he tried the "no condom" route and is definitely regretting that decision!

According to a former worker at sa (sara ayu) and an old friend, 5 dead from hiv in the penjay/kota indah area in the past year. She named some of them but can't remember their names except for erni. Prior to this, I knew of only one in royal and one in la. Not surprising with the influx in non-local hobbiests into jakarta.

This is a huge incr in aids related deaths in the kota area. Girls are realizing that there are risks involved with unprotected sex. Thus, the increase in condom use by the ceweks.

well there are circumstances where you might not bother with a condom, if the girl is a long time squeeze, if you didn't pick her up in a bar but met her through some other means but i have to say i think ratmagnet (and boy is that an appropriate name) was asking for bother. he's in a bar known to be a bit of a skanky hangout and then gets stuck in to the first girl that hits on him (a fairly obvious sign that she's been around the block a few thousand times) and who doesn't bother asking about condoms, and gee whizz a couple of days later he's pissing battery acid, who'da thunkit?

now i'm in no way going to get preachy here but if such a situation does arise and you perform without the overcoat well use your brain, don't lie there in the girl's arms whispering sweet nothings until sunrise, while your mutual bodily fuids coalesce in warm damp contentment. get up straight away and go to the bathroom (pretend you're going for a [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) if you're worried about offending the dear slapper's feelings). get into the shower and run the tap at the hottest temperature bearable and scrub, scrub, scrub with as much soap as possible for ten minutes or more, spray the water up your little eye hole. i'm not saying that will prevent any infection that has already occurred but at least you're not giving it a comfortable nesting place for the evening.

next morning (or right away if you can) go straight to your nearest pharmacy and buy some doxycycline; princely sum seven thousand rupes a strip. immediately start taking them, for god's sake don't wait for the symptoms to appear half a week later, take three a day before meals (they can make you quite nauseous otherwise), finish the strip and try not to infect anyone else for the next few days or until such times as you're in the clear anyway.

all common sense really.

While I concur with everyone suggesting that one should always cover up with a WG, IMO, the best way to inform the girl you want play Russian roulette would be to say, "tidak mau pake condom".

however, as has been mentionned, not a good idea. I have read many articles which state that STDs and HIV numbers are much higher in Bali that "offical numbers" suggest.

Just remember, if a girl is willing to have sex with you unprotected, who else is she opening her legs for, again with no protection?

i'm not a doctor, but i'm told the single best thing you can do after getting caught in the rain is to [CodeWord111] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord111). [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) your brains out immediately after you cum. this of course requires you are well hydrated before sex. try to avoid pissing before the deed and drink a few liters of water if need be well beforehand.

also a common morning-after antibiotic cocktail is single large doses of azithromycin and cefixime coupled with a 7-14 day regiment of doxycycline. this will cure most everything but the big h. google the names to get the doses right.

lastly cranberry juice (100% w/o added sugar) has proven effective for killing critters in the urinary tract. it does nothing to cure an established infection though. you can also buy cranberry pills.

none of these are guarantees or cure-alls, just tipping the odds in favor for those who prefer to sing in the rain.

All modern elect equip have the converter built into the devise.
You just need a plug converter, and ya RS or any travel shop will have it.
Most good hotels have it built into the room sockets, but you can never
depend on it, so come prepaired.

1Ball

to confirm what Robert says. You can charge your US phone anywhere, you just need the adapter to plug it into the wall.
If your hotel doesn't have one, an internet shop should, as many people show up with their laptop with a USA plug.
Good luck.

FriendlyPlanet
03-23-09, 09:17
Double check the charger before you plug it in- a few of them are 110 only, but 99% should be dual voltage. Before you buy an adaptor plug, check in the bathroom- a lot of international class bathrooms are going to have a standard US 2 prong plug for shavers- only for low voltage devices, but your phone charger will be OK.

Finally, if you are bringing a laptop, why not get the USB cable for your phone? You can use that to charge the phone. Has the added convenience of being able to download pictures from your phone, so that you can email them back to yourself. You may be inspired to take a couple of pictures with your phone, in which case you want to get them off before you go through customs- one of the first places they look.

Where do you gents get your laundry done in town? I hate paying the hotel's exorbitant laundry prices. I found a place in Plaza Senayan, downstairs in the basement level below Sogo's. Prices are fair, but its a full two-day turnaround for them (pickup after 5pm).

There are many smaller places around that will do laundry. I saw one poster that listed 7k per kilo. I will see if I can write the number down when I see it again.

You could also check around tourist hotels, or Jl Jaksa. There are usually little shops, or ladies taking laundry in.

I'm paying 5k per shirt/pants at Take's Mansion. Not cheap, but reasonable. Stuff comes back the next day.

I would say that that is misleading information! If you have RTFF correctly, you will find that the reports say that many girls that work BATS and TIGAPULUH (the bars in the mentioned hotels) start in Blok M for the 300K, move to the mentioned bars and quote 800 or even more and some of them will end the night in jalan Jaksa for <300K or in the disco's in Kota for the same price or even less when E is part of the deal.

Like I wrote, it is about their perception. "A bulai is loaded" and if you show you're on that same level, no problem at all.

MDII was relating about his internet activities. So his targets can't judge his pattern of spending. Believe me, that when the girls experience him in real life, they flock around him too. Any kind of girl, pro's or non-pro's (read his FR's)! OK, he's got the looks too, but it didn't help him in all those attempts when internetting.

This situation reminds me of what happened when Bulai69 and I were mall- hunting in Plaza Senayan in the past. I spotted a girl sitting with some friends at a table next to our's. After exchanging glances she gestured that one of her friends will drop a piece of paper with her cellphonenumber when passing our table. After I got her number she gestured to call her in the evening.
I called her later that day and one of the first things she said was that as a matter of fact she was interested in B69. I asked her why and she said: "well he's a bulai and that means, he's got money". And, "could I ask B69 to call her?" "No problem", I said and called B69 to tell him what happened. B69 then called the girl and during their conversation, told her that I'm the one with the money. As soon as he hung up, the girl called me to meet!

Money makes the world go round and girls willing.

BTW, have you been to the places in Kota in the northern part of Jakarta? One might say, that the girls there prefer non-bulai's ;)

I have to admit that it is not common, but there are enough examples. Think of the African soccer players in the Indonesian league!

So why is it not common? In the first place the girls pro's and non-pro's are afraid of the black man's size. In the second place, the mayority of the foreign narco-trafficantes in Indonesia is of African origin.

Highly unlikely when Tiger wood’s mother is a Thai-Chinese and not some Isaan rice packer. On top of that Tiger’s father was a Colonel in the United States Army during the racist 70s. I highly doubt a black officer in the extremely racist US military at that time would degrade himself and his position by putting a ***** on his arm.

As for Indonesia I will come see for myself. I highly doubt the place can be any worse in terms of race relations as Thailand.

I had a "relationship" with the girl in attached photo and I found out she was shagging the (black) lead singer in the group playing in my hotel during the day AND buying him presents with cash I was giving her for shagging her during the night!

But I wonder, aren't those the exceptions that confirm the rule? In my experience Indo's are VERY colour-conscious.

Let's stop this discussion about black/coloured vs white. Maybe the girls are just like us men. Some of us prefer black girls, some of us prefer Chinese ones and some of us prefer blonde ones. That doesn't mean that all men prefer black or Chinese or blond.

BTW, I wouldn't classify that Colombian guy as a black. He is what we call here a "mono" , a white guy. That is, if you are referring to the one that also sings some Indonesian songs.

No, I mean the guy that sang in the Colombian salsa band. I spoke to him a few times but forget his name. I've never heard him sing Indo songs ;) hehehe. I wonder if he even spoke English.
In Colombia he would be called "Negro" (without any negative connotation)

For the veterans of PI and Indonesia. What are Indonesians girls like in terms of personality trait compared to Filipinas? The pros and non?

Yes I have read the fucking forumILLOGIC,

I like Filipinas better than indo girl, they are more GFE and easy to communicate most speak english, but indo girl are better looking, the light skin Chinese indo are hot and are better in bed than the Flipper.

Last time I saw that salsa band was in CJ's, hotel Mulia. The 'mono' I'm referring to, also had a gig at JakJazz last year. The band has also a black singer, one who likes to show his six-pack.

You are right. It all started with the reaction of Lustforthrust. I think the answer by FastEddie48 (#685) is more relevant to your question.

They are less likely to fuck a guy that is not White than the Filipinas are.

Hookers in Shangrila and Meridian cost upwards of 800,000 but veterans in Jakarta will lie and tell you it's 300,000 in a futile effort to keep the prices down (so you don't "spoil the market").Good luck!

Just a quick note on the taxi scene, I know we all follow the Bluebird rule and that's fairly sensible but I'd like to give a small hat tip to a new kid on the block, "Transcab", you can't miss them they're the orange cabs with the back windscreens advertising their in car TV service. You get cable TV (yes CNN and BBC and other western channels) in the back with a good reception. Not only that but at the end of your journey the driver automatically prints out a little receipt for you.

All very modern and efficient and they deserve to do well.

Can you guys give me any information about the rate of drug abuse among working girls? Maybe a description of places to avoid so that I minimize the chance of running into a working girl?

What kind of drugs do most of these girls like to use?

Lastly: Do you think that there is a lot of overlap between IDUs and working girls, or are they two very separate populations?

For those who do indulge, ecstasy and shabu shabu (meth) seem to be the drugs of choice, and are not usually injected. You'll find the odd heroin user around Jl. Jaksa, but most girls there are to be avoided.

The airport lounges are run by the banks and not the airlines. To get in you have to show acredit card issued by a participating bank. They actually run your card for 1 rupuih, at 10,000 to 1 is nothing. \they must just thro these away. The lounges have beer, juice, bottled water& soft drinks and decent food buffet. All the local banks are in, so was HSBC & Citibank. Better than setting in the gate areas.

If you don't have the right cards to access the Premier lounges a good fallback position are the other lounges, one is located inside the newspaper/souvenir shop and I can't quite remember where the other is, if you slip a 10K note to the boy at the door he'll usually allow you to enter. It's not quite up to the standard of the two Premier lounges but it beats sitting for hours on the hard seats outside.

You can just pay 50K to use the premier lounges. Considering a cup of coffee at Starbucks at the airport is about 35K, that seems pretty reasonable. Well worth it if you've got a wait for more than an hour or so, I reckon.

In any pharmacy in any shopping mall anywhere. Walk up to the girl at the counter and tell her you want to buy Viagra, she will hand them to you and you then take them to the check out where you can pay for them, the check out girl will give you your change, put the pills in a bag with a receipt and then you can take them with you.

Ill come to Indo for the first time in 6 years in a few days.

My ticket back to UK is from Bangkok, but given weather I'm thinking of spending the next couple of weeks in Indonesia.

It's a last minute trip so would appreciate some advice from indo experts.

1 What is the best SIM card to buy to text Indo girls with?
2 In the Phils Date in Asia is the best site for getting internet dates (followed by Tagged) What are the sites the Indo girls use? Are they a effective as in the Phils?
3 I have about 2 weeks in Indonesia. I'm a bit tired of big cities having been hanging out in Cebu for about a month. I could potentially fly into Jakarta, Jogya, Petamburu, Bandung. Would any of the smaller cities be a betre bet than Jakarta? Im presumi g Jakarta is the place wherr one can get soe of the prettiest and best English speakers. How do costs compare in other parts ofg the country?
4 how much can I expect to pay for a mid priced hotel? I need wifi in the room ideally. Any hotel suggestions?
5 I may well make my way to Bali . It used to be poor g=hunting ground for midddle aged guys looking for pussy given the number of hadsome youn g Australiands there. HAs anything changed?
6 HAs anyone been to Tretes recently? I was there about 6 years ago, nice place with lots of girls available for about 50k

If you're simply going on holiday, then hard to beat Bali for a wonderful place to visit. There might be (marginally) more English-speaking pussy available in Jakarta, but not many tourist things to do there. Surabaya has the huge (and dirt-cheap) brothel district of Dolly, but again not so much of a holiday destination.

Yogyakarta (Jogja as some call it) is a nice place for a holiday, but for a first-time visitor who doesn't have business reasons to be in Jakarta, then I suggest Bali. Many options in Bali on areas to stay, so your best bet is to pick-up a Lonely Planet or similar to get a feel for whether you want to be in Legian vs Ubud vs Sanur vs the tourist ghetto of Nusa Dua. According to me you should make your holiday plans first . . . the pussy is abundant pretty much anywhere - especially if you don't insist on strong English skills from the girls.

Is cannabis (weed, hashish, whatever) also used/available? if there hasnt been any special crackdown on that market since 3-4 years ago, YES.

Just, for your own financial safety and atleast in the big citys, really really only with good friends, away from the big public places etc

Common knowledge: swallwing a pill is a quicker and more conceiled procedure compared to smoking a joint. Offcourse, with good friends, baked goods are a good alternative in public crowded places. (no experience personal experience with that in Indonesia)

But the thing to go for with girls is E, but only if you or the girl know, trust, have experience with the dealer.

Strangely at that time I and my local friend couldn't get a much better price on E when trying to buy a dozen outside of the clubs, only 7 instead of 9 USD pP.

King Dong should keep his flatulent and frankly dangerous advice to himself.

As a foreigner in Indonesia, especially one who has just arrived here and hasn't acquired any street smarts, you'd be an absolute idiot to try and score drugs anywhere in Indonesia.

Not only will taxi drivers, dealers, working girls and the public at large turn you in for a reward, you will also be like manna from heaven for the immensely corrupt police who will extract every last dollar in your possession, and still drag you to court and thence to prison.

Cannabis is regarded as being more dangerous than meth, heroin, or blow, and you will get an absolute minimum of six months gaol for possession of even the tiniest amount. (And to get six months you will have to employ a lawyer who manages to convince the judges that you are an addict.)

The whole exercise will cost you $100,000 and half a year of your life, if it all goes to plan.

Kerobokan Prison is full of westerners doing serious time for possession of substances in quantities that would barely warrant a parking fine in the west.

King Dong, whose latest posts appear on the China, Philippines, Southern Africa, Cambodia, Brazil, Ukraine and Paraguay forums (perhaps he's a United Nations roving ambassador?) should shut the fuck up.

King Dong should keep his flatulent and frankly dangerous advice to himself. I second that motion. I had a run in with the police simply over using a social visit visa to teach (for fuck's sake). They blacklisted me and deported me-- but only after letting me spend the night in the world's worst prison (after trying to defend myself by being hit by an Immigration officer). And there was NO INTEREST in due process of any type. No call to a lawyer. What I found out is that you will get 2 meals per day (about 1/2 pound of rice and 1/2 cup of vegetables).

The issue with my visa could have been settled, but they wanted a bribe that was equivalent to FIVE MONTHS worth of a police officer's salary. (5,000,000IDR). And several police in the station were in on it (since I was the biggest, blackest person in the whole city there was no way that the others could not have known about my case).

Kerobokan Prison is full of westerners doing serious time for possession of substances in quantities that would barely warrant a parking fine in the west. This is also true. During the night that I spent in jail, there were something like 20 other men in the immigration jail (100% of whom were Afghanis/ Burmese who were caught trying to get to Australia). Some of them had been there for 17 months. Indonesia DOES NOT provide lawyers. And they don't provide money for repatriation. And they aren't even all that helpful for getting in touch with people that could help you get them money to pay bribes (that all the officers involved would get a cut of) to get out or get repatriated. And these people were in the hoosegow for IMMIGRATION VIOLATIONS for fuck's sake (and they should have been subject to at least SOME international conventions). What do you think would happen if you did something like drugs?

This is a semi-pro friend who I met through AFF. Semi-pro because she only fucks who she likes to, and probably gets a bigger pocket-money allowance than most senior professionals in Jakarta earn in a month. She would probably be offended if you offered her cash for gash outright. But semi-pro also in the sense that she hints strongly at expensive perfumes, specific dresses and so on that it would be "nice" if I brought for her next time I meet her for a fuck. Maybe I should simply call her high-maintenance, rather than semi-pro, but then what's the difference ? Hmmm . . .
I can't resist re-posting this excerpt and picture . . . originally posted to the photo thread. And I'm half-way tempted to "out" the several bullshitting punters who wrote to me privately with stories along the lines that "they know (and have previously been with) Putri, but lost their phone with her number", yada, yada, yada . . . "can I put them back in touch again". Yeah, sure guys . . . totally believeable! Especially since 2 of the 3 guys with stories like that had posted nothing but questions so far. Hmmm . . .

The joke on these guys who claim to have done Putri, is that "Putri" is an Indonesian word that loosely translates as "girl" . . . or perhaps a more upscale translation would be "princess". Which happens to be why I labelled this high-maintenance princess's photo accordingly. Her name is flipping Putri. Sheesh . . . . grin . . .

But I tell you what - any punter who really does know her just needs to tell me what her father does for a living, and what her real name is (she goes by it), and I will be glad to put you back in touch with her. Not trying to be an asshole here - but she isn't a working girl so far as my past interactions with her - and so no point in any of you writing me to try your luck getting her contacts. Reposting the earlier picture, so you don't have to scroll back to see what prompted this re-post about "Putri".

MPH is correct, Putri means girl or princess, but its use is wider than he says.

If you were to ask a father how many daughters he had, he might reply "Dua Putri" -- two daughters.

In the Indonesian version of the kid's story Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Snow White is rendered Putri Salju (loosely Snow Princess).

But those readers who state they have done the business with (a) Putri are probably not bullshitting. It's very widely used as a girl's first name too.

It's easy to obtain drugs in jakarta but best to get it from a reliable source, not taxi drivers or some random that approaches. Although, there aren't that many police 'set ups' here like there are in batam. If you have a lady booked from buys some and takes some for herself, she'll probably be legit enough to get some for you as well. That said, there are police check points all over jakarta, mainly hayam wuruk and guning sahari and the new penalty for drugs is supposedly death.

For example Bali charges 30,000 IDR.

I am going to Bali in a couple of weeks. At my visit last year some indonesians asked me for US Dollars or Euros. I had no Dollars or Euros except for the 25 US$ for visa on arrival.

Is there any advantage to bring US dollars and Euros instead of just withdrawing IDRs from the ATMs?

As per Hamaca's comments, your best bet is to withdraw rupiahs from the ATMs as needed, for two reasons: (1) foreigners often get cheated when they exchange money, and (2) many places will only accept paper notes that are in pristine, mint condition.

But you should still carry some dollars (or Euros), say $100-$200, just in case there's no working ATM nearby. I usually carry a $100 bill, a $50 bill, and a few $20s, $10s, even a couple of $5s and $1s with me.

On a somewhat-related note, I remember fondly one Saturday morning around 11 a.m. at one of the money change places in the basement of Plaza Indonesia. Just after I finished changing money, an attractive Indonesian woman in her early 20s, dressed as if she was just coming from a night club (high heels, skimpy top, lots of make-up, etc.) walked in and pulled a crisp new $50 bill from her fake Gucci purse and asked to have it changed into rupiah. I always wonder if a fellow ISG member gave it to her? :D

Just to echo MS' point - there is a very good chance of getting ripped off in Bali by money changers. I reported on this a while ago - some of these guys could out-smart David Blane. I got taken by a couple of guys even though I was 100% prepared for it; I still don't know how they did it. I got my money back by bribing the local police to get heavy with them - but that's not something I'd recommend someone unfamiliar with the process to get involved in: hence use ATM's

another reason for carrying some hard currency is that you easily can change it into a pile of 10 000 rups bills for tips and taxi-drivers-without-change.

On my last trip I noticed that there is an increasing amount of ladies that want "some small bills from your country" for their collection of foreign money. This might be a good bussiness.

have fun

Hi guys,

I'm coming back after a years absence. Can someone advise me if santoso and the other pantai pijats in Dr Murwardi, Grogol, are still good value for money? And if so, what is the rate their now, I hate to go to these places and not know before hand how much I'm going to get stung for hehhe.

What about Jl Industri at Kemayoran, near the sheraton in north jakarta, is that also still operating?

I also hear that one of my favs from Maribaya, Sari, has returned to her home town 'sudah hamil'. Is that true? Theres an occupational hazard you don't need! Is it still 450k at maribaya?

Man, I feel so out of touch!

Appreciate any info

Tks

Hi fieldmouse,

santoso has moved to a nearby location, according to another forum. Haven't been to the new location, but appears from traffic on said forum that things are much the same. Maribaya was 400K last time I was there--just last week. Don't know about the jl industri places; never been there. enjoy your return!

Hello,

I can confirm that a lot of persons are thrown in prison for drugs in Asia and also that your goverment does almost nothing to help you because your goverment want nothing to do with ilegal activities abroad. Same counts for other ilegal activities which seems to be normal because "it costs only 25$".

My advice is, if you get troubles, even if you think you did nothing wrong (like dating a minor girl with agreement of the parents), just pay pay the friendly policemen etc. And hop on the next airplain back to your country ander never return. Don't think smart, just try to keep your head on your neck. And thats worth a Miljon (in dollars.)

If you like USING drugs, come to my country (Netherlands) as so manny French and Germans do but don't take it outside or inside our country, don't grow plants, don't take more then you can use the same day. Because here you may legaly use soft drugs but it is again not allowed to trade and grow it. So for me a question how the "koffeeshops" how they are called here are getting the drugs. But again, don't thinks smart also here but just loose your head on the drugs to keep it on the neck.

Hey, and Dutch girls like everything what is not Dutch. But they can be bitchy. Therefore I like the little friendly Asians more. At least at the start (after a few days, or certainly when they are married or taken out the country- they are the same bitchy).

Ronald, Netherlands.

I have friends who live here and grow acres of plants back home. They and I have the same view on drugs here: if we were at a party and someone was smoking pot, we'd get up and leave. End of story.

Not very talkative, but lovely slim body, nice firm breasts and wonderful tight pussy. She also gave a very nice BBBJ (see my photos in the picture section) and did not mind pictures. What more could you ask from a girl?

Can you take left over Indo currency out of the country and still convert it back to home or another countries currency or is the Indo rup. worthless once you leave the country? The easiest and most convenient way is to pass through customs and then go to any of the official moneychangers at the airport and get rid of all your rupiahs. They have all currencies in stock and give you the official rate.

I once took rupiahs back with me to the Netherlands and tried to exchange at the airport. European moneychangers do not particularly like rupiahs so after some calculating the lady informed me that after handing in my rupiahs I still owed her some Euros. She understood when I declined.

The indo currency is not very stable and they change their currency every few year, if you don't come here every yr just change it back to euro when you leave the country.

Its much safer than the place you would be coming from. Am sure all would agree to that. I have seen girls roaming around alone or in groups in the middle of the night in Bandung fearlessly. Thats the level of safety one would be guaranteed of in Indonesia. I myself have made some postings about Bandung and you may want to visit the places that I have indicated, though just about one or two. Belair night club in hyper square is another good place to find your ayam's. They also have a striptease, though restricted to topless show @ 1 20 am and another round at @ 3 am. Have fun.

All Indonesian Hotels are Girl Friendly. They don't care if you bring a whole platoon of girls to your room.

About the Amaris .... you may struggle, with communication, if you do not speak any Indonesian. As for girls, as stated no problem but the foyer, where the WiFi is located, is often full of local men right through the night chatting and surfing and you may get some nasty remarks, which of course is no problem if you do not understand them :-)

Thanks for info guys! Appreciate it

I was last in jakarta in 1988. Never been back since. I will arrive there in Feb again. I want to stay in an area where everything available(including women, meaning access to night clubs and bars)Do you think Block M is best

I don't mind paying for women, as I see the going rate is 500, 000 all night in some clubs)

I also wish if somebody recommends another hotel which is comparative in price with amaris hotel and maybe a better room

Only prob, I get in at 12. 00am with air asia) and will be a hassle to get into town I feel. Its been along time since I stepped foot into indo. Do hotels there have a pic up service. Or do I have to wait till midday to check into hotel (hihi that would be a blast)

I know jakarta is big, so hard decision where to stay. Greatly appreciate info

Dave

I'm sorry Ko, but I hope none of the ISG forum readers/members has booked at one of the Sofyan hotels in Jakarta. The girl must show a KTP showing the same address as the guy's when she want's to go past the reception.
