I last went there two years ago and went looking for it yesterday (next door to Kuta Bugar).
Has it closed or shut down?

Oh I am not saying that it is cheap. My take on it is this. First I usually play during the day, not at night. So going to the bars and picking someone up
For 300, 000 is not doable. Second, I HATE traffic and usually have little time so going to Sanur and paying 250, 000 is not an option, Third, Angel is a fleapit. Literally, I got bedbug bite there that last two times I went in the middle of last year. Not going back.
To Miguet. No hard feelings ok, but I remember a time, ST action stood at 10k and for USD 120, I would expect no less than Sierra Soetedjo to walk in, singing "Especially for you."
It may be not that easy to find, but there is decent ST action for 300 to 400k available during the daytime in Kuta. True. Some places are dumps or lack privacy. For instance, salon Rika in the gang next to ViAiPi (300k FS, choice of 6 to 8 girls) is lacking privacy.. haha. I had a great time there though, but if you ask around poppies 2 and book a nice air-conditioned room for 100k in the area, really no problem.

There is an old bird operating in the dark hours in Kuta and surprise, surprise after a few years - she is still operating.
So this is at night time. She drives on a scooter / motorbike and offers massage / blow job services, on the side of the road. For a ridiculous low price. 30k. As bait. About two years ago, she did the same, together with a much better looking, younger friend. At the time, I was interested in the friend, but backed-off when she started pulling my pants.
She is too mean and ugly to be considered herself, so most of us will safe (? - :)) Walking over jalan Kartika Plaza the other week, in the dark I thought I recognized her and was just curious to find out. Wanted to give a final note serious note on Sanur. X-houses there are small, primitive, and not set up for Bules / foreigners. I went to numerous of these places, all different times of the day and evening, and not once did I see another "white" there. Not once did I see a non-Indonesian there.
X-houses are, from what I can tell, not set up for foreigners. They are set up for the locals. Personally, I am larger than the locals (no, do not mean "fatter" but rather more muscular). I never had any alcohol, and do know how to conduct myself in case of a difficult situation. Always do speak to the locals in a calm, slow, and respectful way. If you go to these places and act like some dumbass frat boy, drunken Aussie, or the usual arrogant Fox News ignoramus who feels entitled and thinks he owns the world, you may be in for deeeeep deeeeeeeeeeeep trouble. Places are not set up for the spoiled whiny clueless foreigner. And if you act as a drunkin spoiled foreign brat, you may get your butt kicked by the locals, and when this happens you may imagine Popper just laughing at you and your raw stupidity.
Don't say that I didn't warn you. X-houses are not exactly for the clueless or the noob.
Just submitted my report on ten hotels in Kota, Jakarta in the Jakarta. Hotels Section of ISG forum . Personally, tho I really liked Jakarta a lot, problem for me was the pollution which just knocked me out. May give Jakarta a skip next trip, only because I found the pollution overwhelming.

The hotels are in a long strip of bars which all have bar fine girls, hundreds of bars. You CAN pay up to $A150 for a room, but you are getting a huge room, big spa, mirror walls and roof, marble floors etc.
And the women I've seen photos of are stunners! My next mongering trip will be Angeles City I think!
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Bali as a holiday, but from what I've learned it is amateur hour in the mongering setup! But there is really no pretence of AC being anything other than a mongering destination.

Just back from yet another great trip to Kuta. The girls are a little more desperate to get to know you (or at least to know your wallet) as tourist numbers at the moment are VERY low.
Was able to get pricing down to IDR 200, 000 ($22) for short time. And IDR 500, 000 ($55) for long time. I did have 2 girls for one night and this cost IDR 1. 2 million with tips, but well worth it.
Spoke to a poor guy who had just been cleaned out by an all nighter in Sanur. This was as a result of taking a freelancer back to his room for the night and falling into a drunken sleep. After he woke and found her missing he checked his wallet. Cost him his farewell pleasure + $1, 200 + IDR 2million + his credit card which he stopped as soon as he was sober enough to realize what happened.
Only a matter of hours after talking to this victim I went for an RnT massage in Poppies 2 and negotiated the price. After having my pleasure with a double massage followed by HJ I reached down for my shorts to get the cash, only to find the clothes basket was disrupted. (HINT- as a matter of course I AWAYS fold and put my clothes in the same order when I take them off around the girls) I immediately checked to find cash was missing. This led to me threatening to get the police and lo and behold the cash magically appeared. I was then able to leave (without paying and without tipping!)
The other girls I had on the trip were organised through the night security man at my hotel and there was not a problem with any of them. Of course they still wanted tips extra to their price.
HINT 1. Know how much cash you have and don't be scared to count it after the job is done.
HINT 2. Avoid getting totalled on recreational substances including beer.
HINT 3. Use the srvices of the staff at your accomodation. They will often look out for you.

Thanks.XL are considered to have the best coverage in Bali. They call themselves Axiata now I think but you can search their packages online either by Axiata or ProXL. Like the other other providers they have a prefix for making low cost international calls. 01000 from memory being the prefix.
Also they have a large office on Sunset Road but cards can be bought anywhere.
Bear in mind that credit and the card expire after a certain time if not used, so when you back to your country don't forget to use the card every now and then. Goes without saying that you would have activated global roaming first.
Or for the price and ease of getting a card just get a new one every time you visit.
One last thing, when you buy a pre pay card ask the assistant to register it for you or else you will tie your self in knots working it out.

Went to the new (well new to me) place on Dono Poso today. Had a four handed beer massage.
Very nice experience, the hands never seem to leave you. Very rythmic and sensual.
Enjoyed it more than the 2 handed one, and it was 220, 000. No VIP suite available, but it was only about 3 steps to the private toilet / shower so no inconvenience.
FWIW I think there is only one VIP room.

Folks something odd I found this week with a couple of chance meetings with tips (going to hotels across the road near garden / paddys bar) provided from locals the price for short time ie 2 hrs with all inclusive room works out to half of what I'd spend at night ie 250k. I'm inclined to agree too many over enthusiastic bidders fueled by lots of alcohol drives the price up to obscene levels at night. That being said anyone got any day time tips for me to road test let me know here or pm me (-: happy mongering

Have been reading with interest the various and quality information on this forum. Thanks for all your insights, in particular to Barri for starting the interactive map. Managed to get most of it across to my GPSr. Finding the various GZs should be a breeze now.
Looking forward to joining the fraternity in 14 or so weeks. Given my situation, only daytime action is an option for me. The feedback on this is thin and mixed. Therefore, I would appreciate any tips, in particular in which locations in Sanur some decent ST action and selection can be found in the afternoons.

There is a Bali mongerers map, on google earth. This is absolutely invaluable. It shows the location and type of lots of the places we frequent.
Not only a point on a map. Oh no. It has GPS coordinates. If you have a smart phone, install a free GPS application from the Marketplace (or Apple App store in you have an iPhone). If you were gullible (IMHO) enough to buy a windows phone, all bets are off.
Anyway, I have an Android phone, so I installed "GPS Essentials". Next, you want to get those coordinates into your phone. You *could* go into the app, makeup new way points and manually enter the lattitude / longitude. I did this for quite a few places near Sanur, and it is NOT the way to go! I think it was Barri who pointed out that all you have to do is import a file containing them and you are set. I did it after wiping out the manual waypoints, it works perfectly and very quickly.
Look on the mongerers map (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=203117349039894693981.0004a30411d29e76bcdda&z=13) or in case that doesn't post properly (*******. Com / 7fn4u6t ).
On the left hand side under a paragraph titled "Bali Monger Map" you will see a link named KML. It is next to a blue square. Download this KML file, it contains the GPS coordinates.
Transfer the KML file to your phone, or better still just download it with your phone. Open up your GPS application and IMPORT the KML file. DONE. Now in GPS Essentials you will see all the establishments as waypoints, there will be a bearing and distance to get there. Just make sure you enable the GPS sensor so it knows where you are.
Here is a trap for young players. If you take a taxi to the place, there is a pretty strong chance the taxi driver will (behind your back) have his hand out for a spotters fee for bringing you there. Recently when I went back to Renon Body Arum for a Beer Massage, the laminated menu I was shown had the Beer massage for 300, 000Rp, last time it was 220, 000. I couldn't stay as I had a dental appointment and the trip from Kuta took longer than I had expected, I came back the next day. But this time the taxi stopped across the road and I was a walk-in customer. The menu price was 220, 000. Look on the google map for the location of where you want to go. For example the Renon Beer massage is on Jl Tukad Yeh Aya, close to the intersection of Jl Tukad Unda. On that corner there is a petrol station. Just tell the taxi driver to go to Jl Tukad Yeh Unda, when you get there look for the petrol station (or other known landmark) and tell him "this will do".
I also went to the Sanur branch of the Body Arum to try it. They had a specials board outside. On that they had a 4 handed beer massage for (if I remember correctly) 220, 000. Even better than the original.
The Sanur Body Arum is run by Stephen, an Aussie married to an Indonesian lady. She is running the Renon branch. The Sanur one is a bit more experimental, they are developing new massage treatments. The Renon branch tends to stick with the tried-and-true.

Why not go into Kuta, the Hard Rock Hotel is OK, not really 5 star, but it is in the thick of it, the bar downstairs has pickups available.

Why Nusa Dua, I have stayed there twice, it is virtually a gated community and bugger all happens there. Why not go into Kuta, the Hard Rock Hotel is OK, not really 5 star, but it is in the thick of it, the bar downstairs has pickups available.
Have been reading with interest the various and quality information on this forum. Thanks for all your insights, in particular to Barri for starting the interactive map. Managed to get most of it across to my GPSr. Finding the various GZs should be a breeze now.
Looking forward to joining the fraternity in 14 or so weeks. Given my situation, only daytime action is an option for me. The feedback on this is thin and mixed. Therefore, I would appreciate any tips, in particular in which locations in Sanur some decent ST action and selection can be found in the afternoons.

Visiting magnificent Bali in 5 weeks and as I am there for 20 days hoping for some fun maybe even meeting a lady I have chatted to for some time on tagged.

TTGI once had a problem like this in Bangkok, had to stay in the designated hotel with all the good boys and the watching women, I just took another cheap room near Soi Cowboy, got a cab after the conference ended each day and an early cab back in the morning. The walk of shame at these do's is not so good. with apologies for delay, and now a moment to catch up. there were problems had in paradise (bali) , with this darn cold which was going around. who knows where it came from. one person called it the bali crap. went to that hotel with abbreviation d. a. The SIM instructions are slightly off but the SIM shop was able to set things right. IMHO not worth the trouble unless one is on a budget. The language problem and coverage issues and time required to sort it out was a little more than I was willing to spend.

As for Golfinho's advice about hanging out on "the main drag of Kuta" (Which one? Jalan Legian, Jalan Pantai, Jalan Kartika Plaza?) In my 12 years of coming to Bali every month or so, I've found that pretty much all that's available down there are low end massage girls or ST street walkers catering to drunk Australians.
God save us from experts like him.
As for bars to meet available girls. I don't know about Mini Bar, but if Robert Long says it's ok, then it is. The ones I know are in Seminyak on Jalan Double Six along the beachfront. But they don't really get going until the small hours.
If that's too late, I've noticed plenty of naughty looking girls late afternoon / dusk in the same general area of Double Six Beach, on the beach itself right in front of Lanai and Zanzibar. Their radar is pretty good; catch their eye, give them a smile, offer to buy them a beer or a soda, and who knows what might develop.
Golfinho's one and only Bali post, .Two and only two brief visits to Bali, no reason to stay longer, much less go back monthly for decades. Experience at Legian was that relaxing at bar day or night is invitaion to be pestered and solicited continuously. IF Bali is your kind of place to enjoy yourself, that's great, you can have all the fun you want.

Other options use Barry's map Sanur bordellos cost Rp. 250, 000-350, 000 if you go with a driver he is getting a commission so the price you pay to the boss is much more. Bars in Kuta Paddy's, Bounty, Sky Garden hard pros WG are available but action start past midnight, asking price Rp. 1million but you can bargain down to Rp. 500-600, 000 for short time 2 2/12 hrs. Agree with Henry the street names can be hard to get your head around.
Anyone help me with a clean reasonably priced hotel that want to access for maybe only 2-3 hours during the day for some fun. Ideally that will accept the reasoning and take ones money.
Around Legian. Seminyak or Kuta ideally.
Any suggestions of privates around those areas also be appreciated as here for 10 more days.

The Bali Monger Map is an interactive map that shows venues in the Indonesian island of Bali where men can find women for sexual exercises. The purpose of the map is not only to show a static image of venues, but moreover for adventureous mongers to add their own findings and thus contribute to completeness of the map. How to do this is described in the attached Maintenance Manual.It's nearly one year ago since I released (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?962-Bali&p=1155084&viewfull=1#post1155084) the interactive Bali Monger Map ( http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=203117349039894693981.0004a30411d29e76bcdda&z=13), and though many guys have used it and shown appreciation I had expected a little more contribution, especially regarding the venues on the west coast: Kuta, Legian, Semarang and so on, e. g. the places mentioned in Ryo Saeba's post #1414 (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?962-Bali&p=916794&viewfull=1#post916794), August 2009.
Till now it is still Sanur that is best covered, so I challenge you guys who have the knowledge (especially those who requested the map: Longbald in post #2522 ( http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?962-Bali&p=1140914&viewfull=1#post1140914) and Sharka in post #2541 ( http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?962-Bali&p=1146197&viewfull=1#post1146197)) to add the west coast venues.
To recap: the map is open for editing for the account bali.monger, which is a gmail account. Login instructions as well as instructions on how to do things is included in the attached Manual.
On the other hand, the reason for the lack of contributions might very well have been Google policy: There seems to have been some difficulties in logging in to the bali.monger account. Google keeps track of the location from which logging in is done. If it is a new location Google wants some verification and displays a form with three verification methods. Here option 'Answer my security question' should be selected. The security question is 'Where is Goyang? ' and the secret response is 'Madura' (see post #2504 ( http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?962-Bali&p=1137170&viewfull=1#post1137170) for explanation).
The version 1.1 is a minor update of the map:
For the cat houses in Sanur some quality information has been added:
Room rating: *, ** or ***, where ** is what you can expect and *** is better.
Cooling: Either Fan or AC
Some low cost hotels in Sanur have been added.
The map update also includes an update of the PDF with the maintenance manual (in two parts)
A 'User Guide' which among other things also shows how to save placemarks to a Smartphone (Android).
For those who don't want to bring their Smartphone along when going mongering, the printout of the map has some draw backs: When printed out on paper the placemarks on the map are anonymus. The identity of each placemark thus needs to be filled in by hand on the printout. For the Sanur area there is however a manipulated version, Absolute Sanur X 3.0.pdf (attached in this post) where all the placemarks have their correct names.
Both the latest versions of manual and the Absolute Sanur X 3.0.pdf will be stored as attachments to emails in the inbox of the bali.monger account.
Noteably Google in general has upgraded to Google Plus, but for pictures that are going to be used with placemarkers in the map we stay in old Picasaweb (for picture linking reasons).

I love this site find it invaluable post often and frequently assist members through private messaging as I feel that avoids unneccessary reading for others.
Its a shame some members just appear to get of with having a crack at what others post on here.
The gentlemen who does the maps for Bali in particular calls others arrogant but I have found him to be one of the most judgmental and arrogant people I have ever communicated with on here.
Some no doubt find his maps very helpful so its a shame he detracts from that good assistance with his arrogance and unwarranted at times comments.
In the end we are all here for the one purpose many have different cultures, backgrounds not to mention languages so helping all should be the purpose of the site.

Only had a 40 minutes but regardless was 250. 000rup at the entrance and fearing I would be bitten at least 300. 000 for a HJ passed.
What could one hope to negotiate a BBBJ OR FS for at this establishment?
Like what I saw but sure its difficult for a white tourist to arrange a good deal?

But daytime action is hot! These places have fan, and a fan is not enough! The only place I know of that has AC is Barokah (the more pricy rooms) , and they don't open till 8 PM. Anyone knows of other houses with AC?

I quite liked a girl there so I'd go back if I knew where they had moved to.

Probably slightly cheaper is Watering Hole 2 opposite Trophy Pub (next to Sanur Beach Hotel entrance) and also Hotel Semawang in the lane next to Trophy Pub which I would expect to be $35 or less. Villa Puri Ayu close to Semawang is nearer $50 to $55 but also is a much nicer place and closer to the beach.

Now back to providing information:
I asked there last year and from memory the rooms were around $45. Probably slightly cheaper is Watering Hole 2 opposite Trophy Pub (next to Sanur Beach Hotel entrance) and also Hotel Semawang in the lane next to Trophy Pub which I would expect to be $35 or less. Villa Puri Ayu close to Semawang is nearer $50 to $55 but also is a much nicer place and closer to the beach.Actually, I meant to ask Avoloz the price for a short time room at Sukun, but it's good you come up with some suggestions for accomodation in the Semawang area.
I have in the passed used and re-used a few cheap hotels/homestays in Semawang. For me the advantage of staying there is that practically all hot spots are within walking distance.
1. Kesumasari Beach hotel.
At the bottom of Jl Kesuma Sari (down from the Ganesha roundabout) right at the beach. It's more of a homestay with bungalows. Only two rooms have fan (and only one of these has a king size bed: room no 9) the others have AC. Fan rooms 300 000 IDR, AC rooms 350 000, incl. breakfast and taxes. Can be negotiated down. No pool.

2. Puri Gopa hotel.
Right at the Ganesha roundabout, corner of Jl Kesuma Sari and Jl Cemara, entrance from Jl Kesuma Sari. Two floor hotel with pool. Standard double room from 45 USD incl. breakfast but plus taxes, if I remember correctly. Internet in lobby.

3. Bali Kembali Cottages.
Located some 150 m. off Jl Danau Tamblingan, the main entrance is some 100 m. north of Ganesha roundabout. There is also a back entrance from Jl Bet Ngandang2 (which runs from fishbowl 89 and passes 21X). The hotel consists of bungalows surrounding a big green garden with a pool in the middle. Bungalows are bit rundown, but functional. Rooms from 35 USD including taxes but not breakfast. Very peaceful!

For those on a budget, or often just wishing to have a hotel with a friendly bar etc, by far the best deal is the Hotel Bali Senia on Jl Danau Poso very close to 69X by the Cirlcle K.
Rooms are around 20 USD, very girl friendly. Australian run. No pool but if your cash is tight its a very adequate place. Good food also.

I recently had the pleasure of a week in Bali. A place I have often visited with some history of partaking the delights available. This most recent trip was the same.
I can recommend the Ari Putri Hotel in South Sanur as being very comfortable and good value. One week was less than Rp 2. 5m including a reasonable breakfast, great pool. 40 channel TV, fridge, air-con and clean sheets and towels each day. BUT it is a small hotel with families and fairly straight clientele. Not a place to bang a variety of girls each day. The location is ideal being only 3 or 4 minutes walk to the action.
I made a daily visit to 11X on Jl Danao Paso. They know me from numerous visits over the years. I quoted Rp200, 000 based on 'previous price' as the going rate but they said price had gone up and was now Rp 250, 000. I have more worries that bickering $5 and the extra ensures I always got great service. The room is basic. Fan, old towels and cold water.
My request was for slim ladies. Smaller and young. Generally I got what I wanted. All good workers including Susi, Linda, Olive, Terry and several whose name I can not remember. Today I checked out Reborn & some houses in Sanur.
Reborn. It's 50% off from 10am. 2pm, so a 2 hour massage is about 101k Rp. After 2pm, they also have a special where you can get a 2 hour massage for 118k Rp. The shop is open daily from 10am. 11pm. I went to Bali a few years ago and sort of had the same problem with lame ass van drivers from my upscale hotel who were essentially clueless. One day, I decided to leave Legian Beach area where I was staying and found a nice bungalow in Sanur. I went to a couple local bars and asked the bartenders where I could find some girls. No problem. In five minutes we were cruising the various X houses in the area using his motorcycle. When I found something I liked, the local Papapsan put the girl on his bike and I rode with my bartender back to my bungalow. Paid the papasan and it was go time.Long long long time ago, circa 1982 I arrived single and handsome at the Sanur Beach Hotel at about 10pm for a one week stay. Sat in the bar and asked the bartender where a fellow could find a girl. He said wait till 11. At 11pm he took me on huis bike to whatever were the equaivalent of X houses 30 years back and we selected a nice lady who happily stayed till 4pm.
Next day got chatting with an Aussie girl who was there as her flight was delayed. One thing led to another and no need for the X houses that night.

how do you guys get around to all these locations when you're there? . Rent a motor scooter?I agree with Wayne Lynch, a scooter is the fastest way to get around. But it is also the most dangerous. Specially watch out for very deep and dangerous potholes, even on major roads. Watch out for dogs running into the road, watch out for totally crazy and unexpected driving by others. Just be much more careful then you would usually be. And try to get a good helmet. While many drive here without one, they suffer most from even minor accidents. And medical emergency services are not the quickest and certainly not the best here.
Oh, and get an international drivers licence if you can. The police check a lot and while you will usually get away with a fine / bribe of 50-100. 000, I'the rather have a license.
Or use taxis. Plenty around, you don't usually have to have them wait either as in most places. Certainly around Sanur. You will be able to find a new taxi quickly. And for some reason most taxis here drive fairly reasonably, usually not the mad dash as in many other places. And they are not too expensive. I guess you can get from Kuta to Sanur for about 100. 000. Just don't tell them you want to go to an X-house as they will get commission which you will end up paying for.

It may look like anarchy out there, but the locals know exactly what is permitted and what the (completely) unwritten road rules are.
If the visitor drives defensively and doesn't try to out-do the locals in crazy passing maneuvers, you should be ok on a scooter.
However if you prefer a bit of comfort and security, hiring a car is pretty cheap. You can get a Suzuki Katana (little jeep that looks 4WD but isn't) for $15 a day, less if you hire for a few days or a week or two. Don't worry too much about what side side of the road you're used to driving on, you'll catch on in about 10 minutes.

besides, a mate of mine ran a hotel there for 10 years and has an indon wife etc, warned me of the road rules there. if you are foreign, it's your fault.
if i was making an extended stay (intend to do 12 months to learn bahasa one day) i'd ride for sure, but in holiday mode i'll use the blue taxis.
i shudder when i see inexperienced riders on hire scooters in heavy traffic with a surf board, lots of sunburn (bare skin) and the impetuousness of youth. some even add a skin full of bintang for added gravel rash! seeing them shooting around bemo corner or kuta at speed with all of the above just makes me shake my head.

That's why now, after many years of Bali trips, I get a scooter for the whole trip. I go to my regular hire guy and hand him Rp500, 000 for 25 days or more if I'm there longer based on 20, 000 ($2) a day. You should pay more for shorter stays.
Buy your own helmet as NONE of the hire helmets fit, they are all ridiculously LARGE! I have no idea why. I ended up buying a child's helmet as it was the only one small enough to fit snugly. A whole $13 complete with a cartoon charcter on it! Not as good as my $400 Shoei at home but better than one that doesn't fit. Don't ride there if you don't ride at home. Get an International Licence. Expect to get stopped by the cops. Don't assume anything. Ride much slower than home. Don't hug the left gutter, that's for other riders to turn into without even looking. Give way to everyone. Don't get angry. Don't make sudden changes of direction. Avoid riding at night unless you really really really have to (along the Sanur strip is OK). Many riders don't use lights at night as they believe that lights use up more fuel. I rode from Ubud area to Sanur several times recently and it was quite a challenge! A kilometer in Bali is like 20km at home. SO much going on and so many potential disasters. Having said that, in 30 years I have never been even close to an accident myself. YET! Getting up inland and cruising the quiet roads is what makes Bali the amazing place that it is. Do it during Galungan Festival and it's even better with all the decorative bamboo "penjors" hanging over the roads. If there is a more beautiful island on earth please take me there! You just don't get to see it the same way from a taxi or a minibus or even a car, although by car is very comfortable in the heat for sure and is the next best method to a scooter.
If you don't make an effort to see just a bit of the island then I don't think you really deserve to be there!

The X-houses are the ones in Sanur.

had a mate come over to bali more or less for his 40th.
staying at the patra next to the airport and decided to take him to tuban pelangi (on the monger map. how good is it!) near the airport.
stupidly chose to ignore reports which called it a ripoff.
seems this is truly a short time place only, even then probably wouldn't bother, got bullshitted endlessly when looking for 2 "long times" to take out to other places.
after much delay we ended up with 1 girl with no english and a cold, and one other, should have left but long story, ended up persisting and basically got burnt bad.
(i just can't pressure them to stay if they are looking to cut and run, so ended up with nada!)
have learnt the lesson, if it doesn't seem right or they start to stuff you around from the start then best to walk away prior to agreeing like a mug.
pity, place had potential for me, given 4 times a year in bali and staying at the patra making this shithole just around the corner.
don't want to sound like a thailand wanker, but pelangi does not do bali any favours by comparison.

/1 / Forget about Nusa Dua. Nice place, but no action.
/2 / Girls on the beach. Go to Double Six but you need to be patient and "have a game"
/3 / No "hostess bars" like Bangkok, but good action LATE AT NIGHT almost everywhere. SkyGarden my choice.
/4 / Girls are no problem anywhere in Bali, BUT you will have trouble in Nusa Dua unless she checks in (and out.) with you.

Checked out Sanur twice. 300k a pop. Not really my style, but it's an adventure. Like others said, not much going on in the afternoon in, tho a bit funny to see the touts run around with girls on their bikes. Pulled a few FL's at Sky Garden for 600-800, nothing to write home about.
One thing I don't see covered here are pills.
I'd love to get ahold of some generic Vitamin-V (Viagra) or Vitamin-C (Cialis) pills. I popped into two pharmacies (Kimia and another decent looking one) and the both wanted I think 120k for the V and even more for the C. These were real ones. I might have a friend visiting for the weekend and would like to give her a bit extra.
Anyone know where the generic variety can be had, in Seminyak / Kuta area? Surely the stuff sold on the street is fake. I don't trust pharmacies really either not to sell fakes. I bought some from a guy in the Kuta Times magazine (Harden the Fuck Up!) but those were fake too.

However they do have a Brazilian (?) licensed Viagra called Vimax from the Sandoz drug company which is Rp+-90, 000 and one called Emposil from Actavis drug company. These two are the real deal, but I only ever found Vimax at Kimia Farma, and Emposil I never tried to get.
The little jamu stalls at practically every market in the evening, usually with illuminated signs saying Sido Muncul, or Nonya Myneer, or Air Mancur, sell all kinds of potions.
Ask for Obat kuat lelaki. (Strong man medicine.)
The brands that I have tried are Black Ant and Hot Sex. The latter definitely contains sildenafil (viagra) because you can get the bluish tinge in your vision and that slight headache and a dick so hard a cat couldn't scratch it.
I suspect that these capsules are hand filled and then the sachets hand sealed so the dose is a bit "what you see is what you get" but at Rp25, 000 for two caps (two pops) who cares. The Black Ant are a bit more expensive, like Rp40, 000 for one big cap. I didn't think they were as good as Top Sex, but not that many places carry Top Sex.
If you are in Seminyak, there is a little market on the left hand side at the dog-leg left hand turn at the top of Jalan Raya Seminyak as it heads towards Jalan Oberoi and the Kimia Farma (near where Sunset Road enters.) There is a little stall at the entrance of the market (nearer Kimia Farma) which definitely has Top Sex. He's open from about 6.30pm.
