Not much on here lately about Riverside Spa so I guess I'd better post about my experience.
First the good:
Easy to find. Just a short walk (5 minutes or so) up the road extending from Jalan 66, then a right, just across the bridge, for about 75 meters to Riverside Spa on the left.
Beautiful, new facility. The rooms are the largest, cleanest I've ever seen in Bali. Large jacuzzi tub. Big bed with crispy clean sheets. Really first rate.
Not offered a lineup or choice. The Mamasan recommended Ari as she introduced her to me. Beautiful lady. Stunning body. No hesitation.
Now for the not quite so good:
Turns out that Ari was "ticklish" "down there" so any pre-game activities were quite limited.
Everything else was offered, albeit in a "semi-scripted", routine sort of way. No particular connection. (That could have just been me.) Certainly not a GFE experience.
The advertised price of 920,000 turned out -- to my surprise -- to be 1,250,000 on the way out. Taxes. Okay, I guess I can understand that. But, 200,000 for two bottles of water? Good grief. That was simply gouging, in my opinion.
Well -- there you have it. An "okay" experience. Very pricy by Bali standards. Still a "bargain" compared to back-home prices.

Based on reviews from other mongers (thanks!) went across to this establishment last week when I was in Bali. I was staying in Seminyak so this turned out to be quite a trek. Close to 45 minutes by cab. Walked in and was shown the menu. The highest end massage they had was the 21 hand 4 S Massage, which I was told is the one where you lie on your side and have two girls massage you. Cost 400,000 + 25,000 for the VIP room option with an in-room shower. The room was basic but clean. Was told to shower and then the two girls came in. This way they have continuous access to your tackle from both sides. They take it in turns to give you a caress and a tug every now and then to keep you hard through the session. The massage itself was pure piano play but in a sensual way. Towards the end I was told to lie on my back and then they got to work in earnest on the HJ. i guess the only way (since one year nobody gave any direction for ubud. excepted have a 50 mn ride on bike to sanur) is to try few massage parlours (if you like it) the small ones in the remote roads, after few trials you will get a "therapist" willing to give what you are looking for. then you will be able to repeat your visit. if you start by removing all your clothes and if this is well accepted it will be a good starting point. then don't forget to report it. i can do that "work" i m moving to diving spots, happy hunting.

Bidadari Biru Spa has at least five spas in Denpasar (three of them has been reported before, about one-and-a-half year ago), and they seem to be in the medium / upper range.
They have a new massage which the call 'Love' (Kasih): "lady in bikini" for 500 krp, and have 20% discount 'this month' for both this and the standard massage.
Bidadari Biru Spa, Jl Mangga Sari 88/ Tekal Dukuh IX, no 8 (Hard to say which address is correct; maybe the street changes name at the river, and in that case Tekal Dukuh is more correct.) The street runs to the east from Kebo Iwa, just south of Gatot Subroto. This spa in Tekal Dukuh seems fairly new built: there was a 'Congratulation-for-opening' placard on the outside at my visit.
Nine pictures of girls on the screen to choose from, but only three girls present since my visit was before 2 PM. Accountant speaks no English. Picked Ita. Very limited English. The cubicle quite big with solid walls up to the ceiling, nicely decorated bench and soft music. Here no blue paper pants are required.
Ita did a quite good massage with a little bit of teasing before I was flipped over. She then kneeled down between my legs and started an excellent, experienced HJ. The spa is not directly on this street but on 'Gang 2', which is going south from the street. It is, in contrast to the other outlets, located in an old building. As in the other places the accountant doesn't speak English, and there is no screen to choose girl from. Totally 6 girls work there; 5 of them from Bali.
I got Nana from Karangasem, a chubby super friendly girl with lots of tattoes. The cubicle is small with hard walls up to the ceiling, but with a somewhat unpleasant smell, like mould? Soft music in back ground, no blue paper pants required.

They get tourists from all over the world and being able to communicate is an advantage in securing income. Might buy a small language book or download an app that translates Bahasa Indonesia into English. Don't even try to understand Balinese. Bahasa Indonesia is by the way, is Malay.
Bali is very safe. Unless you are drunk on the streets of Kuta late at night and looking to fuck or fight and harass the local guys.

Last night I went down to 29 at 7.30 as I'd previously read on here that it opens for business at 5 pm. Well, I was surprised to find there wasn't a single girl in the fishbowl at that time. Motor bike is a good, but dangerous if you know your way around something I haven't mastered yet.
The secret with the taxi drivers is just get them to drop you off near where you attending otherwise they become a pain in the ass for dropping you at the establishment?

Thanks in advance.Hi Wombat. Renting a car would be your worst option, both because of driving in Bali traffic and the pain in the ass of finding a place to park in Kuta. Unless you live in Jakarta, which I suspect you don't, you will be horrified by Bali traffic; if you live in Jakarta, nothing will shock you, but you wouldn't even consider renting a car to drive to Kuta.
Motorbikes are a dangerous option without any remarkable advantage.
If you mean buses as "public transportation" I would urge you not to get aboard unless you speak bahasa Indonesia. If you mean taxis, then yes, take one. The hassle of a driver trying to steer you to one or another club is a relatively minor inconvenience, compared to a week in the hospital from a traffic accident, for example.

I am off to Sanur later this month for a couple of weeks and have read the Bali forum to get some tips. I am not as active as I used to be but I still love Asia and do partake when I can. For that part I wouldn't worry at all. As for the bars with FL I did see a few in Sanur beach but they were not very lively and the clientele in the ones I saw consisted of already paired up girls and gentlemen. I think I saw all of lively Sanur and I would guess there are not more than 3-5 bars like this there and they were not crowded.
2) I don't like longtime and didn't do it but this of course sounds insanely expensive. If you take a girl from the fishbowls I am however positive this is what they will want you to pay. I'm sure they will not go lower than 500. I hope you can have better luck with finding a FL in a bar but what I would recommend is to find FLs online since you still have some time before your trip! For sure there are a lot of people who could make a living on this profitable trade if it weren't for the fact that a few mafiosos have hijacked the scene and only allow friends and family to work the tourist areas and charge extreme prices.

A summary of my own experience:
I found the best places for me were the ones on the other side of the big road. They are marked on the map posted earlier but I can not find it now, it is around the Jl Danau Tempe Road on other side of the highway I'm sure. There are many girls to choose from and rooms in connection. Also you can win money on a game they have a mat on the floor and you must choose wisely were to bet your money. The prettiest girls in Bali seem to all gather here after dark (don't come to early!) and sit around in sexy little skirts. I can safely say this was the best time I had in south east asia for quite a while.
In the fishbowls they are also very friendly but all of them I found there were 40-50 years and older one exception with a 20-year old but very fat and unpleasant attitude she stuck her tongue out at me! I had read here to ask them for more girls and they finally drove in a pretty girl I had seen the night before in the first place after the big road but here the negotiated price was 300 000! Did I ever feel like the silly tourist!
Some of people writing here think they have diseases in the bigger places but how can you know this? Since the ratio for girls who look happy and new in the trade was better the nights I was there I don't really understand that impression. I would never go back to the fishbowls myself but whatever makes people tick. If safety really is the concern I want you to realize that it is the most ruthless people who manage to establish themselves in the profitable areas so if you are "afraid" of going to the places outside of the hotel-area you are acting fully irrational and you are not treating your dick to what it truly deserves and your wallet is getting empty for no good reason at all!! My experience was that they were very friendly and forthcoming I had no experience with rejection because of being a foreigner and I think this might have as much to do with the visitors general composure and attitude as with any racism or hatefulness on the part of the girls.

I am not naive but I think we all have a soft spot sometimes as it is not an easy job for these girls\ladies. I am not going to haggle over what to us is a dollar or two but I am not one who throws money around either. I do like to have a laugh and a joke whenever possible. Treat people like you want to be treated yourself I say. I am staying in south Sanur and Jl Danau Tempe is not that far from me. If Sanur is too quiet for me for 2 weeks, the cabs are reasonable to go somewhere else for the night too. I will definitely check the area out though. Triple be, yes struggling a bit for now as most of the punters followed the manager and her staff to Happy Bar, she was responsible for building up the girls at Triple be, and as the lease holder is a young gay Javanese guy he has to find the right person to follow on there and build it up. There is 1 year remaining on the lease.
On the longer term forecast some of these bars may disappear as commercial rents are being doubled and even tripled as the leases come up for renewal.

They are frequently referred to in the forum as "flea pits" but the actual names sounds like something coming out of someones ass on a bad hangover and when I went there in the nighttime the talent was consistently better than in the fishbowls in the resort area. And for the fishbowls: Wherever did you go to find 40-50 year olds? Possibly Barokah, but in all other fishbowls on the Bali Monger Map the absolute majority of the girls are 18 - 30.

I am off to Sanur later this month for a couple of weeks and have read the Bali forum to get some tips. I am not as active as I used to be but I still love Asia and do partake when I can. I made the mistake recently of following a taxi driver's sales pitch to go see the girls in Sanur. It turned to be one of the overpriced places. The driver was standing by his taxi on Jl. Legian, near the intersection with Poppies II, at night. He was one of the Indonesians with Chinese-type features, and he was wore eyeglasses. He claimed the price would be 200,000 IDR, plus his fare, so I rode with him to Sanur. In Sanur, he turned in at the address 2 X, into a courtyard. There were several guys standing around outside, and a small lineup of average-looking women in street clothes. There were no other customers, Indo or Western. Then he informed me that the price was actually 600,000. Feeling outnumbered, I went ahead and chose one anyway. Apparently the 2 X location is a ripoff for Western tourists.
Later in the week, I returned to Sanur, but this time with a younger guy on a motorcycle. He drove further along the highway leading to Sanur, past 2 X, to an area with more than one X-house. We drove to few different places, until he found the one that had the best action that night. There was a 'fishbowl'-type room, with several wowen, many of them good-looking, a far better selection than at 2 X. And a good number of Indo customers looking at them, making selections. The woman I chose gave good service and had a great set of, at a price of 300,00 (I left a 50,000 tip).
The motorbike guys are less interested in ripping off Westerners than the taxi guys, I have found. He even told me not to tip the 50 K, he said the 300 K was enough. He said "do not pay twice!" as he called it. The locals don't tip in Sanur, it seems.

It's been 30 years since my experiment with the local vegetables and I can clearly remember that the effect is HALLUCINATORY. I remember an American girl who had a slightly big nose. As I watched it, it grew longer! Another pretty girl became stunningly beautiful in my eyes as an average looking girl became quite ugly. Next time, try checking out the fishbowls completely sober. I have been hanging out at them for years and I have NEVER seen a girl looking older than about 35. I would guestimate 25-35 as the most common age with a smaller number below 25. I recently checked out the three areas on Danau Tempe and, contrary to your experience, I found more older girls and certainly MUCH fatter and uglier girls than the average at the fishbowls. I thought the whole area was pretty bloody disgusting to be honest. The fishbowls could never be described as "spotless" but they are at least bright enough to see the dirt! Incidentally, if you were in Bali during Ramadan and Idul Fitri (about July 1 to August 10) then the selection at the fishbowls is both small and pretty bad. Ended up staying one night at the Ibis hotel on Jalan Dewi Sri put up there by Garuda after our flight was cancelled, so was back in the Kuta area for just one night. Anyway (since the map has been brought to the table): over the years there has been disappointing few updates from other members; only two or three members have made a contribution. The reason for this might well be that Google makes it more and more difficult to log in from a new place or from a new device. It seems that the idea with a shared account doesn't work any more.
Secondly, Google seems to convert all maps to Google Plus, where editing the map is a bit different. Taking into account how much time I spent preparing the manual for members to make updates in relation to how much the manual actually has been used I have decided to not update the manual for Google Plus.
So the conclusion is: if you manage to log in to the map and make an update it's still good. However: if you can't log in (or can't make the update) but want a new place to be added: just send the info and the coordinates to me by PM.
