Yes Grrr you are right you have to really sift through the girls to find some stunners.

The last few weeks I've been in Bali and have been very disappointed with the freelancer scene here. Find one of the WG's and make a deal to come to Ubud with you for a few days. Might cost you a few extra bucks, but the exchange rate is good so take advantage. Both of the two spas next to the portal that marks the start of Prof Dr Ida Bagus Mantra Bypass north (sic!) of Sanur have changed name (and probably management): Marina Spa is now Moon Sky Spa and Maharani Spa is now The Aquila Spa. I have not checked out what treatments are offered.

Just a quick trip report.
First time in Bali. Made use of Tinder a few months before and laid some serious foundation. A mix of working girls and just local girls with regular jobs.

I expect Bali was great 30 years ago, but now it seems more like a cross between Costa del Sol and a museum. The culture I experienced seemed more like a culture that has been trashed by decades of hordes of drunk tourists. I wonder about whether some of the people who are all upbeat about Bali and its "culture" have really experienced that many places and cultures in depth themselves. You might have some pleasant surprises in store if you broaden your horizons:).
It is also a question of supply and demand. In Bali (population 4 million), there are a l o t of foreigners in a small place and the vast majority of the girls are imports from Java or elsewhere in Indonesia, so although there is a lot of p4 p, supply is ultimately limited, while demand seems unchecked. Travel no further than Jakarta and you can be in a huge brothel with several hundred girls on offer and not meet a single foreigner. Its under 30 USD for an hour, 40 for a threesome and the sheets and rooms are spotless. Rarely will anybody try to rip you off, con you, Jakarta is a big place and draws demographically on the rest of Java and Indonesia continuously. If you're like me (someone from the West Coast who enjoys Asia but prefers to spend their time in S. America), Bali's a much better pick than Jakarta in terms of not spending your day doing logistics prepwork. Having said that, I'll probably book an AirAsia are / t for Jakarta while I'm in Bali, just because I'm already on that side of the IDL.

It was night both times, and the setup of the fishbowl where you're essentially just looking into the large window of a building made me feel a bit skeevy, but the attitude of both girls I had from there and the Papasan combined with the quality of those lays put it high-up on my list. Sriya spa: entered the place and was greeted by an overenthusiastic guy at the reception. He sat me down and started explaining the different packages on offer. My only advice if any is don't go in with a I don't care about price attitude. Didn't find anyone doable, I hate when them put that white lotion on their faces looking like ghosts. After that walked to Danau poso, went to 29. Easy to find its on the main road. Picked up a slim girl from Jakarta, Lily (21 yo). Paid the pimp 250 and went to the room. Room was OK, bit dirty though, not cleaned between the customers. ASanur is a legitimate holiday destination in it's own right. Much quieter than Kuta. Sanur's nighttime activities are quite discreet. If there was anything underhand in her advice it would be that she may get a fee for referring you to that hotel if she has a contact there. Otherwise she may just think it's a good spot to be if she doesn't want to make babies with you, for you can find another apple of your eye inside 10 minutes. Considerate girl, I would say for if you were a greedy type like OS is. You would be doing her and then racing down to one of the nearby houses for dessert while she narcissisticly rearranges the photo's on her dating profile. Sanur is good.
As has been repeated on the Indonesian forum a million times. All hotels are girl friendly especially those in Sanur.

AThere is nothing wrong with staying in Sanur. It's a more quiet area, but if you already have a girl then it's fine. There are not hookers who are free lancers in that area, there are brothels. The girls from the brothels aren't going to be able to leave the brothel to stay with you in your hotel anyway, so she is not a brothel girl. For newbies the below clubs are in the Legian street in Kuta area.
- Skygarden:
The biggest clubs with 4 stores building. Went there fore dinner buffet and 9 11 drink free-flow. They serve 2 drinks at a time and first time I did not know this with mango juice order. The bartender gave me 2 mango juice and so I asked only 1 then he replied one time 2 drinks. Shit. Did not have a chance to change it because I was pushed out by other customers.
It has 2 shows a little bit over than midnight everyday. Good shows and worth watching.
The hookers and customers ration was about 1 4 or 5. Not so many FLs and not so pretty, which I was disappointed a lot.

In Bali, transportation is not good and you need to be prepared to spend quite some money for taxi in Bali so get yourself an international driver's license and hire a bike. I hired a moped for one day to travel around Sanur and Wuluwatu.
If you want a safe trip you can use Grab or uber.

- very strong tide. Clean water, but only for surfing.

- very clean water and good for swimming due to low tide and soft sand.

Some thoughts on Bali pricing. I have been spending more time in Bali recently, and getting my head around the place and the pricing. I still have a lot to explore, so far have just used the dating apps to have girls come to me.

I went to Onassis Spa in the spring of 2016 and really enjoyed it. They have a lot of cute young girls who sit behind a glass wall so sort of a fish bowl environment. The rooms are kind of cool and quite comfortable. Can't remember what I paid but it was reasonable. Also, it's just down the street from the Immigration Building where I had gone to extend my tourist visa.
One things should be noted:
The spa has two separate facilities. The main entry and lobby has a reception area, which is only for regular and non. Sexual massages. It's also possible to walk down a side alley next to the building that will take you directly to a glass door where the fun spa is located. Monday I got some time away from the ball and chain to check out Riverview spa on Jl Kresna at around 2 pm.

Market demand dictates that if all the real worst of the worst were not able to make money in this business then the minimum standard of girls would come up nicely. Be patient, my friend. Things have not gone up that much. I just turned down offers of 500 and 700. With perseverance you should not end up paying more than 400 k and there are still some lovelies available in the 2-300 range.Well, probably need much more perseverance than I have time for. So far, on the apps have never gotten an offer below 700 K out of 20+ girls. About 40% won't budge from 1-1. 2 jt. 55% won't go below 800 K. Then one went down to 700 K. That being said, I made a little jaunt over to Sanur to 67 X. Was a surreal experience, only 3 girls available but two of them doable and the one I chose was slim, very tiny, and cute. Good positive attitude too, considering the environs, and I interrupted her dinner as I arrived around 5 pm. Papa demanded 250 K, even when I handed over 200 K and said "usual price". He insisted for the girl I picked it was 250 K. Probably could have started walking and gotten 200 K, but I couldn't be bothered to haggle over 50 K, and I was not really interested in touring all the fishbowls LOL. Experience was decent even though you definitely feel like you're in a rural village doing something dirty. That being said, the room and bathroom were reasonably clean.
Went to Circle K next door for some wet tissues to wipe off the sweat, and the parking guy gave me a shit eating grin and a thumbs up. Then asked me "good?" LOL. He also wanted to know how much I paid, and he nodded knowingly.
Seems I will likely strike out on the apps, might try a "spa", Angel or Mawar, if not Riverview or Delta / Onassis, but I expect those will be similar to BKK.

Is there some downside that I am missing something or is this just a great place to monger?

The places that cater mainly for tourists and the freelancers in the nightclubs can be expensive, sometimes even by US / Australian standards. But with some patience, exploring and wise bargaining you can find abundant young lovelies in Bali willing to do the deed for the equivalent of $20 or less.

Does anyone have any recent reports on short time hotels in Bali? I'm looking for one, preferably south of the airport, but still interested if elsewhere. The monger map seems to be rather out of date in this respect. Any pointers gratefully received, either here or by PM.

I just got back from 3 days in Sanur. I stayed near the circle k fishbowl. I took 3 girls from the fish bowl 250 k plus their tip. Pretty crap to average experience and rushed. At 99 x the mamasan asked me what I like, lovely spinner about 35 kg really tiny. That was the best of my trip. Overall I like Thailand better.Hi friend!
I'm envious, I'm eager to go to that area, I've heard that in Bali and in other islands there are very beautiful girls, with that semi oriental semi western beauty that excites me so much. What you're saying about the girl's weight, I personally don't like them too thin, I see it excessive for them to weigh less than 40 kilos because I don't find it beautiful aesthetically, although everyone has their own taste.

I wasn't looking for a bargain, I just showed them the money and the deal was done.
