Why look for rocks among the white sand beaches?
Yes, there are many and they are available. Also Asian travellers. I had success with some of the fellow guests but there is a lot of potential baggage and problems that come with it.
As in some places along the Mediterranean, there are plenty of local "spears" cruising around. I think there was an Aussie documentary about it called Bali Cowboy. You can see young studs hanging around the girls, both young and old. But I prefer what is on offer by the indigenous population.

I've noticed tons of European 'backpackers' who are spending weeks, if not months in Bali, wandering around the scenic nature and enjoying the stress-free environment. Many of their dating app profiles start with "I left my corporate job and now travelling the world" or something similar.
But it seems these ladies aren't as easy to date as the Asian ladies. How should they be approached? What kind of guys do they usually date? (I know the Asians look for western guys who are willing to spend money on them). What about the european ladies? There are plenty of them but I think they need a different "strategy" to get a date with them.
Your input based on your experience is highly appreciated!

Had a few days in Bali (first time) and loved it. Limited options. Couldn't take a girl back to hotel room as travelling with my sister! Hence either attendance at massage parlour for HJ or more or visit to Riverview or Onasis. Latter was too far from my hotel which was in Seminyak. Saw little or no action on streets other than being propositioned by two girls working at a "spa" who offered BBBJ and HJ for 100 KIR (incredibly cheap) but didn't like the look of either or their facility. Had no other real idea on how to get a session but from reading the forum and learning that Riverview was still open decided to try it. First visit I turned up at 10.45 pm only to be told that it was closing soon and I was too late? Wow! Walked across the road to a bar called Extraplatt. Nice bar / restaurant and the girls working there were very hot. One in particular caught the eye and I asked her if I could take her for a drink when they closed. She agreed. Went to some place called The Red Carpet in middle of Seminyak. Great music, great vibe, and clearly WGs in there. Explained I couldn't take her back to my hotel and the reason and she said we couldn't go to hers as she lived with her family. Ended up rushing an hour with her at her friends apartment. Not great. No aircon (and it was humid) but a decent session. No money had been mentioned or requested and I was beginning to wonder if I should mention it for fear of upsetting her if she was not a WG at all. As we were leaving she asked if I wanted to meet her again but made it clear that it was no problem if not as she did not expect anything from me. I suggested dinner on my last night which she agreed to.
Following night, got to Riverview 9 pm. Met inside by the owner (I think) who went through the prices. No option for 1 hour only. Minimum was 90 minutes with one girl for 1. 5 million IR or 2 girls for 2 million. I said I'd like to see the LU. 9 girls were brought out and lined up. Said Hi to each. Of the 9, 3 were 7's, one with a body worth 8, 4 were 5/6's and 2 were below 5's. Not great but selected a girl called RiRi. Slim, fairly tall, - the one with the 8 body. Natural see cups it turned out. After 5 minutes in the room she asks if I like 2 girls and I said yes but I hadn't been too keen on any of the others. When I was in Bali about a month ago, I ending up meeting with an fishbowl girl and restaurant girl during the day. I usually do not like walking around with them in case they meet someone they know or I know. But I was able to have a great time in the privacy of a room. I'm sure they'd need a different approach than the east asian or Balinese ladies. Because the European ladies don't target western men. But expect to be targeted by them. While east asian ladies would enjoy being spent on, given gifts and getting pampered. I wonder what trigger would the european backpackers respond to.
FWIW, VJ, I think you and I move in different circles. I don't want any of the girls knocking on my door and showing up at my doorstep. As for picking up western backpacking girls, give it a shot at Kuta. Or Ubud.
I recently went twice to Village Arum Day Spa in Sanur located on Jalan Pantai Sindu close to the Bypass road. You can ask for no Beer or Fanta and just get oil and cream. 275 k Rupiah converts to about $21 usd total in January 2018.

Going by taxi, driving up and down to Sanur will take up to 1 half to 2 hours.
And all up you will spend around 450 k on a HJ service with clothes on. There are plenty of similar massage parlors in Kuta with prices for HJ and BJ services starting at 200 k. Full service (room inclusive) starts at 400 k.

I was not aware of any similar massage joints in Kuta, so that is why I went to Sanur. But yes, travelling from Kuta to Sanur definitely put me off with the travel time and the traffic, and the added cost.
All massage joints that I know of in Kuta are non-erotic and charge around 65 k Rp. The only ones that I had read about was Riverside and Kuta Bugar but these are apparently priced much higher like in the 600 k to 1 m range, which is far too much of a waste of money for me.
I did however use Angel Spa in Kuta twice but for FJ only and no massage. That was $300 k.
Are you able to name any lower priced HJ joints in Kuta, that might also include an erotic oilie massage as well?
Went twice to Angel Salon/Massage in Kuta. It is a 15 minute walk from Bemo Corner so convenient to those who stay in Kuta but the downside is that the chicks there are mostly below par compared to the chicks in the Sanur X houses. The line up is about 6 chicks. They quote 400 k Rp for massage with HJ only. I said I knew the prices and so they said 300 k Rp for boom boom but no massage included. 300 k Rp is about $23 usd at 13300 January2018 rate.
The room is okay with a mandi which is just a cold water bucket bath, and has aircon. Good performance by both chicks. One was prepared to do BBBJ, didn't ask the other one. Not that I took up the offer though. The chicks had liquid soap, condom, one had lube the other didn't, no tissues, towels were clean and dry.
I also tried to negotiate 250 k Rp for FJ at next door Mawar but they wouldn't budge off 300 k, so that is why I ended up at Angel twice. Chicks not very doable there either.

so convenient to those who stay in Kuta but the downside is that the chicks there are mostly below par compared to the chicks in the Sanur X houses. Obviously. If you are looking for FS with a hottie in a brothel, go to Sanur. If you are looking for FS in your hotel room, go to the Kuta Legian party strip (starts at 1 j), pick up a freelancer.
But for HJ with clothes on, 2 hours in a taxi is too much. Stay in Kuta. There are more MP's than you can poke a stick at. If the service does not appear on the menu, doesn't mean they don't offer it! Instead of recommending a particular place, I'd try a MP that offers some privacy, pick a massage girl and ask straight up. "Massage plus plus bisa? If they don't, just keep asking who will. They'll get the drift. Some locations to try would be around Legian and the Poppies. Gang Bedugul. I had a RnT there last week. Or around that little market on Jl Kartika Plaza, just before the Discovery shopping mall.
Should it fail, for during the day-time, there is always Salon Rica. It's a FS brothel, but they offer massage as well. You find it in the gang next to Sky Garden on Legian. Keep the Bali bomb monument to your left, travel up into that gang for about 150 m. Its on your right. The place is a dump, but "on par" with that RnT joint in Sanur. For the cleaner MP's, may be stick to Kuta Bugar and Angel. There is also Delta and Frezz, if it stil exists, and some more in Seminyak.
However, honestly, if you'd ask me, best thing to do in Kuta is collecting phone numbers. From some nice looking single mummy's in front of Kimberley Spa on Legian. Alright so when reading through this forum, I came up with the following steps that can be a practical guide for anyone wishing to visit Bali and enjoy its sex scene adequately. Your feedback is appreciated:
Before going there:
1) Use Tinder and Badoo (or other similar apps) to browse through the available ladies in Bali. When chatting to any lady, make it clear that you're intending to date her and you're open to sex. Some may request money or gifts in return, so prepare a modest budget for that. Some may be escorts. Use them as backups, and don't pay more than $100 for any escort. Line up your matches based on the number of days you're intending to stay. Its recommended if you're staying for 7 days, line up at least 10 ladies, and make sure you get their whatsapp numbers.
2) Choose a girlfriend friendly hotel. Some hotels in Bali do not accept you to bring along your girl to your room if she's Indonesian. They may even charge you for it. So make sure the hotel you choose accepts that.
3) Choose the bars / nightclubs / restaurants which you plan to take your girl on a date to. Use tripadvisor and facebook to check their reviews. Some of the popular ones are Char-Char (good for drinks, not food), Engine Room (mostly for groups) Finns Lounge (upscale) and several rooftops. This saves you time when choosing while being there.
4) Be aware of tourist traps and scams. You don't want go get financially raped.
5) Find a driver, some of whom are on Tinder and they're ladies. They can drive you around for an affordable price. You can shag them too if you know how to court them.
Once you're there:
1) Chat up your ladies and agree on a time and date with each one of them, at least for the first 3 days. To save time, meet up with each lady in the early afternoon, over a drink in a decent place. If things go well (she speaks good English, is pleasant, looks acceptable and clearly open for some fun), spend the rest of the day with her. Could be the beach, or the pool of your hotel.
2) Invite her to your hotel room and enjoy the fun. If it fails for any reason (she refuses, she has her period, she has ridiculous demands), call up one of the escorts you saved as a backup and enjoy your night (although with an extra fee).
3) All while there keep browsing through Tinder and Badoo for extra matches and possibly better options than those you have. Then weed out the bad options and include the better ones.

5) Repeat steps 1-4 until the final day.
When you leave:
1) Make sure none of the ladies are clingy to you or keep wanting more of you. You don't want headaches and needless nagging. No strings attached.
2) Identify the matched ladies that live there, and stay in touch with them for your next visit.
Again, tips, modifications, improvements and added information on the above is appreciated from all experienced mongers.
I stayed at the Candi Dasa Beach Resort and spa earlier this month.
As I was discovering the immediate surroundings, I exited the property and turned left onto a small dirt road, which according to Google Maps is called Jalan Mendira. Walking westwards from the resort, about 125 metres along, next to a small restaurant, was a sign for massage. Since the daily rains were about to begin, I decided to walk in. Good work. Very close to my game plan when I'm in Bali. I have found that if you are there for 7 days have 21 contacts, the girls can be unreliable and if you only use 10 then so be it. In regards to dining them, if they are Free Lancers and have negotiated a price I wouldn't wine and dine them, buy them a drink or have one in your room but I wouldn't over capitalise on P4 P. Instead of using an escort try Sky Garden or The Bounty Disco to pick up a Free Lancer, it will be cheaper and you see what you pay for.
I would use Blue Bird taxis over a driver unless you are going on a full day tour and sometimes you can get a taxi to drive you around for 1/2 to a full day cheaper then a driver particularly if you know where you are going for the day.
To avoid the clingy ones let them know you are a "butterfly" so they know where they stand. If you "court" some of these girls they may misunderstand your intentions and it will cause you problems. To avoid unnecessary confrontations at your hotel you can possibly book a cheaper hotel for your meetings to avoid unplanned ambushes by "smitten" ladies.
All in all I think you have a good plan and you should have a great time. When do you go?

All levels of Sky Garden should be explored. I have seen and chatted with some drivers who I have met on social media and they do seem interested in hook ups but remember they are female and it may get uncomfortable after you bed them to have them take you to meet someone else. I think the point I am trying to make with the "clingy" thing is that even if they don't see you as a potential long term long distance partner they will try to have you spend all your time and money on them instead of sharing your wealth and DNA with others. I was in Bali in January and the weather really sucked: it was rainy and overcast most of the time. This made swimming too cool, and also there was a lot of plastic pollution on the beaches at this time due to it being washed out of the rivers. I vowed never to return to Bali in the wet season.
I was also in Bali in October and the weather was mostly sunny. However there were lots of board riders on Kuta beach, making the surf crowded all along the entire stretch of beach.
So I discussed the best time to visit Bali with my hotel receptionist and she said that the best time is March to May. The weather is not so wet, and it is before the influx of European tourists visiting during their summer holidays (June to August).
I would say that there are always heaps of chicks around at any time of the year so that would probably not be an issue.
I will be in Bali in the third week of March. I have read the last 25 pages of this thread (from January 2017). Thank you posters for your reports. I have been to Bali many times, almost once every year since 2011 but not last year. I was just updating my info, especially new prices. I will post if I get to monger. Thanks.

RL.I agree with you about the diarrhea, in Bali usually by the second day I have "Bali Belly" regardless of not using tap water to brush teeth and drinking plenty of probiotic drinks and being careful where and what I eat. I have just returned from Pattaya and ate some street food, brushed my teeth with the tap water and didn't drink any probiotics and only had 1 instance of diarrhea and that was after a huge night out on the beer. Bali has been ruined by greed and tourism.

But remember all the runoff from Bangkok spills into the Gulf and comes down the coast to Patty and Jomtien, Hua Hin on the other side. The only clean beaches are on the Andaman sea. Tsunami areas.

IMHO, my 2 cents. Since it is hot, stick with water. It is more than enough, even for marathon runners. Juices or fruit shakes or the likes will cause things to move faster and could also get contaminated (from surfaces, spray, hygiene).
On reflection I always drink a lot fruit juice when I'm in Bali so I'm thinking that could be the culprit. Thoroughly cooked and serviced piping hot is best. Most things chilled or cool will increase the risks even in the US. In the US think, salad (buffet), blueberry, strawberry, chicken salad, peanut butter.

Made's was remodeled about 7 years ago and expanded. Problem is they didn't change the food. I guess you can't expect a Balinese cook to flavor and prepare the food right.
In Hawaii the locals like salt, so everything is too salty. Hawaii is the SPAM eating capitol of the world. More spam is eaten here than anywhere. SPAM is all the parts from pigs and beef that can't be eaten alone.
Also the worst Bali belly I ever had was from the local Watermelon.

Just wanted to share my thoughts and experiences on what is happening in Bali mongering-wise, which in short is bad.
If you really want to pay through the nose just use Tinder. I have at least 100 different matches, 90% of which are prostitutes asking for 60 $-100 $ one shot! Plain crazy.
Did try Sanur's brothel's right under Angel's Bar. Another disappointment. My friend (a local guy) went in first and after 10' I went in. I got the "gringo" treatment, two or three times the normal price. Agreed on 500 k for someone who was smoking hot. Mechanical sex in a room taken straight from Midnight Express, with no AC or fan. Tried the other one the same night which is a few meters down. Same kind of thing, but for some reason they only had one girl there. Got into Kuta late Sunday night. Too tired due to Batik Airlines running two hours late. Got up yesterday and had the worst day of a mongering holiday ever and was so pissed off by the evening I was searching for a cheap flight to Thailand or back to KL early. Around 6 attempts to mongering were all thwarted by cheats and scammers. What a shithole! Tried to avoid cab drivers because by mid day I thought every local in Kuta was a scammer since everyone I engaged outside the hospitality industry was trying to hustle me. Requested an Uber ride and that driver fucked me over by telling me that Angel was a bad MP and that Swell was closed (it wasn't). Tried to take me elsewhere and mind you this was an Uber driver.
I'm in Sanur now thankfully in a hotel located right off the Bypass in the middle of the X houses. Got a nice room for $11 a night on Booking.com and they loaned me a bicycle which I used to scope out the X houses. There are some I've seen that are not on the Bali Mongering map after a casual bike ride through the hood. Darkness approaches and I'm about to trot out for a visit. I will report back when I got home. I'm writing on a tablet now so I can't do any detailed FR until I'm in front of a PC.
Got here via Kuala Lumpur where I went to Ace with some local Cheongsters. Had an excellent time and got to swap mongering stories. I'm their first white guy on their crew. KL has a lot more going for it than people understand. I will be back there on Friday and will continue my exploration of the Big Durian P4P scene.

Did you try dating via TInder and Badoo or was it mongering through pubs and bars? Would like to know how you approached the mongering scene there and what went wrong. This would help me be careful in my visit to Bali.

Rob.If I was a bit hysterical sounding it was for good reason. Halfway through my vacation and I struck out as a monger on 3 consecutive nights! After hitting Ace in KL on Friday I ad a date with a Pinay which started out well but ended rather anti-climatic, pun intended. Flight from KUL to DPS was a disaster and I arrived tired, sweaty and hungry only to have to run a gauntlet at customs and immigration. Too pooped to pop, pun intended, but the time I got settled in. Two strikes there and yesterday was a clusterfuck of the highest order.
Now the good news. I'm in Sanur and we are back on the program and the things are looking awesome!

To sum up the problem, almost every person I met in Kuta on the street was trying to scam me. Indeed I did get cheated by several people along way, just trying to get simple things like a phone charger, a Sim card, and a honest therapeutic massage. But not more than $30. Went to two brothels and was asked, tried to get a starting price to haggle, but all they would say is how much do you have? The problem was the time and hassle cost me a day which is priceless to me. You can't put a price on the frustration. But I will go into detail later as a warning to all who have never been there.
Fortunately things turned around in Sanur, which rhymes with mature, and the cure. Good vibes, decent locals, classy tourists, and nightlife I can get into. But mostly checking around the X house scene. Walk in and look around. Not enough choice? Come back later. No worries. More girls come later. Only four in Barokah Hotel but a tiny little SYT locked eyes on me and we were off! Name was Intan and her service was good enough to tip her 50 k. She was so excited about that that she asked for my WhatsApp and asked if she could service me in my room. We just arranged a tentative second date for tomorrow evening. I will some other X houses tonight. Then hit this bar on the strip that has live jazz in the evening. No thump thump disco for me! I will report back later. I'm hungry and it beer o'clock.

Rob.The Balinese can be some on the nicest people on Earth. Then there's the Balinese that are a pain in the ass and they all are in Kuta. I have to support anyone that says Kuta is a s_it hole. You can't walk down the Jalan with out being constantly hassled and bothered. Even in the daytime it's terrible. I have a house in Renon but I don't go to Bali anymore. Traffic is terrible, flooding is bad when it rains, construction always blocking roads. And the Balinese get crazy when they get behind a steering wheel.
They are rude and will not be polite enough to let you merge into traffic.
In Jakarta the traffic is so bad that men block traffic with their bodies so that side streets can merge, cars will give them small money for helping and that's how they make their living, but not so in Bali.
Sanur is peaceful and quiet but lacks the excitement of Kuta. Young surfers from Australia feel right at home there in Kuta and party a lot. If I was 18 again I guess I would be right there with them. But I'm glad I'm not.

RL.Good post. I was in a bar last night on Jl. Danua Poso, which I just learned was the infamous On on Bar (their sign is down) and talking with a Canadian expat and two bar girls. Their family lives in a village somewhere, and the girl is in Jakarta living alone (or with a friend) in a tiny little room they pay $100 a month to rent. They are in Jakarta looking for money to send home to their family in the village and to have fun. Those are the best candidates. Girls who work in offices and / or live with their family in Jakarta are too much trouble. I rarely ask them to go. They have to get time off work, etc. It's not worth the trouble. If you find a bar girl who you hit it off with, simply ask her if she wants to go to Bali. At times they will refuse, but not often.
After they agree to go, I ask them to come over the day before we fly to Bali and spend the night with me. I spent 4 days in Semarang with her first and then to Bali for 3 days. Pretty much the same as Smoothy told you is no money changed hands until the last day and gave her about 2 million and bought her a few gifts in both Bali and Semarang. Would I do it again? No. When planning your holiday to Indonesia always check when Ramadam is, because if you are going to Java in particular this will affect the number of girls available. I flew to Manado once, to stop over in Jakarta. That was good. Because there is no action in the dive resorts of Bunaken. Got back home last night, slept 8 hours, woke up and messaged my colleagues I wouldn't be in today and then slept another 5 hours. Now that I am finally with a clear head, I better do my FR while the details are fresh. I already forgot the names of two of the three girls I engaged. But, I'm lousy with names everywhere.
In any case, things took a turn for the better when I left Kuta for Sanur. I had a great time in Sanur, so my initial bad experience in Kuta were more than offset.
I had planned to do a separate report from my wasted day in Kuta and explain what went down. However, it would have been a long rant, so let me sum it up for you: I went out six times looking for poon in Kuta. Failed in all aspects. Twice dealing with MPs offering "sexy massage" and all a scam. Dealt with wannabe procurer women leading me to side gang brothels in old office spaces with barely doable women asking ridiculous prices (1.4 juta for massage and HJ with a young doable female). Finally the Uber drivers who refused to take me to the MPs where I wanted to go, and wanted to take me elsewhere. I won't even go into the street hustlers who hassle you constantly, the endless chain of cabbies who feel the need to honk at you when they pass, as if it didn't occur to you that you could easily hail one of the 200 empty cabs already looking for passengers on Legian. Or the new packaged XL SIM card I bought with no credit on it and the charger I haggled for but was DOA at my hotel. I realize Kuta has gotten a bad rep in the past and other bad write-ups, and I have to agree that they are all too true. Go ahead and say "I told you so" and I will also say you were right. But I also don't believe anything I read on the internet without a big grain of salt. And neither should you.
I stayed at the Akarsa Transit on the bypass. It had good ratings on Booking.com and was $11 a night for a very modern, room with high ceilings and embedded lights that made a great place for fucking. Problem is, it was right on the bypass and I failed to understand the significance of that. But, for the record it is a noisy place due to the traffic and it is difficult to cross even at night. That said, strolling to the X-houses that are north of the bypass is easy from this hotel. But, the bulk are one the other side of the bypass. And the bypass is the bypass, and the bypass is a b*tch.
My hotel loaned me a bike and that was my method of transport during my stay. I love bicycling anyways, and I cover ground very quickly on a bike. While on my initial bike jaunt, I looked for the X-houses on the monger map, but found many others not on the map just walking around in the following days. It would take me weeks and weeks to visit them all, at one pop a day.
I started off visiting 29, which had a sign lit up on Danau Poso. It was just after dark but I was greeted by a captain / pimp who directed me to the fish bowl. There were only two girls, one older, tatted up and hefty and a cute, younger one in a jacket (I saw young women in Bali everywhere who were wearing jackets. I think its a fashion trend. I was sweating like a pig the whole time.) The young looked a big startled by my appearance, while the older one stared at her phone, mumbled something to the captain and I detected the word "bule" so I guess she was as disinterested in me, as I was in her. I was warned that some girls don't like the bule but that hardly jaded my good experiences in the X-houses. Rather, it helped sort out the disinterested girls.

I hit the famous On and On for a drink and on a whim headed up to the bypass and went to Barokah Hotel, which I'd discovered earlier on my bike tour. Despite being on foot, it was an easy jaunt, except for getting across the road. Barokah is a big complex littered with bungalows, some of which are being occupied by normal tenants I surmised. Who knows? I got to the center before I was greeted by a pimp getting off a scooter with a girl all dressed up, like she was coming back from a booking or just getting to work. He directed me to the large fish bowl. I walked in and it was completely empty but in minutes girls came from different directions. However, there were only four spread out in the fish bowl, most of them pleasant. But, one in particular caught me eye with her obvious interest. I picked her and then haggled with the captain. 400 he said. I countered with 300 and he went into some spiel about cost of room, service, tax (tax?) but I held my ground and he consented to 300. Staff there is Balinese obviously, because they also recommended the pork chop (and they wear the bindi). I mentioned the pork chop to one of the bar girls, who was from Java, and her eyes got wide and she said, "I've never eaten pork!" That's when the culture clash in Indonesia came into focus for me. In any case, you can get your pork fix there at 104. I ate at 104 once a day after that, including the morning I left. They roast their own coffee there and its excellent. The Balinese girls who work there were as attentive as they were cute. The kind you can take home to your mother.

Next evening, I strolled up the unnamed gang next to the Circle K that hosts 18,66, and 67. It was totally unlit and possibly very intimidating to most people. I ran into a guy out front of 66 who pointed me to the fishbowl. 66 has an odd arrangement where you scope out the girls from outside through a wide window. While the fixbowl was small there were many girls and they were packed in on all three sides. Time was around 9 PM. There were about four Indo guys milling around at the window and I think they were the pimps. I happen to have a couple in Canggu, whilst it is an area that has never appealed to me it certainly is growing in popularity.
Regrettably crime is all to often reported in Canggu, from bag snatching, stabbings, bashings usually for obvious reasons on tourists.
This is substantiated by the constant reports on a local crime reporting website.
Give me Legian- Seminyak any day but despite that Canggu still continues to attract tourists and investment.

She was on her motor bike and he wanted her phone / bag. This was in Canggu just recently. Join the facebook group for canggu. The crime they report there is outrageously high.

While on my initial bike jaunt, I looked for the X-houses on the monger map, but found many others not on the map just walking around in the following days. It would take me weeks and weeks to visit them all, at one pop a day.Great report.
To add to this, most of the Sanur X houses do not have their own girls, just a pimp who will bring you a few girls from a nearby fishbowl while you wait. Much better to go to a fishbowl yourself, as you'll have a much wider choice, better price (at least a better chance to negotiate one), and less pressure if you decided to walk away (since you haven't wasted their time). Only fish bowls should count, and there aren't too many of those, from what I've seen, less than ten. As of early 2018, going rate is 250 (they'll usually ask more, but saying "dua-lima-pulu" works for me, even though I speak no Indonesian). About 1/2 or more of fishbowl girls refuse to go with Bule, which is annoying since they're the prettiest ones.
Curiously, service in Sanur brothels is occasionally decent (about half good, half horrible). Much better than, say, Classic or Travel in Jakarta.

Day 1 Bali.
Made a contact from Indonesian cupid in last minute. She is from Bali and working in a hotel reception. She is very interested to meet me. I got connected while waiting for the flight in lounge. Alright, so I followed some advice on this forum and edited my bio on the dating apps that I use in Jakarta, with a statement indicating that I'm going to Bali and looking for a lady to invite her to come with me, all expenses paid (with a nice gift at the end if she turns out good enough).
Needless to say I got more than 30+ matches per day. It was so overwhelming I had to run away and log out of the app LOL.
Damn! All I wanted was one good lady and I got dozens. I could easily take a team of ladies with me but I guess I need to make up my mind and choose only one. Its a very tough and time consuming choice.

I had few very good experiences with girls from Jakarta, tried to perform the same / similar in Bali. The results are greatly disappointing or even hard to achieve.
My two experiences in the last year trip to Jakarta.
1) one girl working with airlines. I got her contacts through a dating site (In-fact she has approached me first). I had a video chat. Got connected with her facebook (not a fake one, had 300+ friends mostly from home town, relatives, colleagues. You can see the photos from functions celebrations etc.) When she met me in airport to receive me. She dressed up well. She apologized for 30 minutes late (caused because of dressed up) . Had a wonderful time with her 2 days.
2) Another one student who is staying in hostel and met using the same website. I approached her & had video chat. Verified using her Facebook.
Now be a gentleman during your initial communication with girls in Jakarta. You can expect a good flow of gems during your visit. BTW, I never paid them directly. Book cabs in the GRAB using grab pay. Bring them to shopping center to choose few items for me. Thats a great entertainment for them, During the same shopping I gifted them with shoes, handbags. Etc.
Being said that. Tried this in bali. Yet to see any good responses. Jakarta is easty to rinse and repeat the same procedure.

You have made it plain that a trip to Bali is on offer and you say you are getting roughly 30 replies a day, I can well believe it.
Now of those probably 27 are pros or semi-pros, cynical beach bunnies or hardcore clubbers. You will see this from their profiles, pictures in clubs (often taken in the toilets for some reason), even sitting on the leatherette benches of some meat market, or else on the beach in Bali on a previous visit. Any girl willing to post a picture of herself in a skimpy bikini is a pro (I said these rules are rough and ready, don't flame me), ditto showing a lot of cleavage, tattoos are a bit of a give-away too. You pays your money and you takes your choice, these girls will give you a good time in bed, but you know, when you are in the popular clubs and all the bar staff know her, or every five minutes a hunky Aussie or Swedish surfer greets her like an old pal (although they all know her by a different name) it's a bit of a buzz kill. As is her constant messaging on her phone, or her suddenly asking to go away for an afternoon to visit " a friend " who is in hospital after a motorcycle accident in Kuta (and asking you for the taxi money).
So that leaves three, over the course of a week 20 or so, ordinary civilians who fancy the idea of breaking away from their humdrum life for a weekend in Bali with a nice guy (you will have proved you are a nice guy by chatting politely to her about her job, family etc not the size of her tits and whether she takes it up the arse). Check her profile pictures, what is she wearing (a jilbab in some of them)? Where is she hanging out, at work? A cafe? If she posts travel pics where are they, Europe perhaps? This shows she's no airhead and has obviously got a bit of an education. She probably has an ex, some Dutch guy on a long-term, long distance relationship which fizzled out. She's in her mid-twenties, isn't looking for money (although will not object to a guy treating her nicely). A girl like that will make good company for you in the afternoons. Sex is great but you will have days to fill too and you want a bit more conversation than, "where you come from? How long you Indonesia? ".
That's my advice. Take it or leave it.

Day 7 Bali.
No contacts to meet in Bali. I had enough actions in Indonesia. But soapy massage was still troubling me. Searched the internet with soapy massage. Got a place doing Nuru Gel Body to Body massage. That second girl was open to the idea of Bali but wasn't as desperate and indicated that 2-3 days over a weekend would be good, without the need to take many days off work. (such examples are a few, but they exist in Jakarta much more than Bali).
Thank you for the tip and I have added new red flags to some profiles as a result.

As we all know by now, the X-Houses tend to be clustered around South Sanur. I had read that this area was a "tolerance zone" where LE stayed out of (or at least had their palms greased), hence the location of all the X-Houses in one town. Then again, I also noticed that Sanur is a well established tourist town, which suggests to me it is merely a place that is well known to the bule, complete with all its vice options. I have to wonder if the "tolerance zone" is a real thing, or if its just a place that is obvious to the casual visitor.
Now, if the X-Houses are supposedly outlets for local men of limited means, why can't their be similar brothels for the working man in other parts of Bali? That's my question, now. Denpasar seems to be a sizable city and away from the beaches, there appear to be very few bule on the streets (On my drive through Denpasar and back, I didn't see a single Westerner). Seems likes the local brothers there must be finding their relief nearby. That said, does anyone know if they are are other clusters of X-houses that need to be explored?

Usually 750.000 the hour, offered me 450.000 when I visited maybe a year back now, was a sign of being quite I suggest.
It was a good service, nice clean rooms and bed (was a dive some girls offering FS prior) I was offered a BJ in the room for an additional 200.

I still remember the first week I was in Jakarta. I asked one of the girls from the office out to dinner. Pedro.I agree with you 100%. Sadly, there seems to be an Ameri-centric bent to ISG, and as an American I feel the need to apologize for that. The idea that mongers from outside the US don't seem to matter to some, is a bit sad. People here have complained about Europeans, Australians, and North Asians (mostly Koreans) as if they aren't worthy to enjoy a place on the opposite side of the world from the US. While I am quick to point out that Kuta is a shithole, that Australians somehow seem to like, I have no complaints about the Australians I encountered there. There were as decent people as you can ask for. And the only monger I've ever met from this forum in person, is a wonderful guy from Australia.
Sure, the Australian women can be some real Whoppers, but they aren't as big as the cows I sit next to at my job here in America.

But if you were to look at the track record of the protagonists,(excluding myself), they are solid contributors across a wide spectrum of subjects pertaining to our craft in Indonesia. I am not sure what is your race or nationality, but you seem fixated on Western women. In Bali and around the region, Western women can be had; good looking, young, and in shape. The same with other travelling women of other nationalities.

They are fun but my eyes keep wondering at the "nut brown" butts walking by who are cheaper to impress and less risky. But sometimes, these opportunities just fall in your lap, literally.

Would be good to get info on realities on the ground, especially from residents (I'm not) and keep track of the good ol' boys. Thanks in advance!Take your dollars and change them there. The daily rate will change but be careful of the money changers in the back if shops with great rates because you will find that they will only have small notes and they will rip you off.
I don't know much about Canggu except it is some distance from Kuta, Seminyak and Legian where all the clubs and bars are. If you are after nightlife and easy pick ups I wouldn't stay too far away unless you will have your transport it will be expensive and time consuming for taxis but on the otherhand if you have contacts over there and like to have private party's Canggu will be ideal.

I have limited time where I am staying and didn't want to spend days walking around trying to get my balls drained. I just requested any first hand one off places a few people could recommend. Not a history of what and who was banged where best place someone visited.

My suggestion is to stay in Sanur, walk around on your own, and check out the large number of X-houses until you see something you like and something that seems to like you. The X-Houses are likely to have better choices later in the evening. If you don't see anything you like just walk to the next place, look around or maybe come back later. I really regret not arriving in Sanur sooner, as it has been my favorite place to monger so far in terms of experiences. After googling for the maps and doing screen shots of parts of the maps I have now found somehow that the monger map has turned up on my map. Me app that I have on the phone. The good thing about this map app is that once you have downloaded the area you are visiting you use the maps off line so you don't need to have a 3 G / 4 G. This is great for me as my phone is not unlocked this I can not use a local SIM card.

The options are try your luck for a yoga loving French tourist at one of the few bars that are open later in the night or BYO from Kuta. Don't stay in Denpasar. It is not near the beach, and has nothing of interest to recommend it. So that leaves Kuta or Sanur. Kuta has a surf beach. Do you want that? Sanur is surrounded by reef, so the water there is flat and calm. I myself prefer the excellent body surfing waves at Kuta so that is why I always stay there.
Kuta is full of Indonesian hustlers but has cheaper accomodation and restaurant prices. But when choosing a hotel in Kuta don't get one that is too near the bar area on Jalan Legian because of noise issues at night.
My modus operandi is to stay in Kuta and monger in the X houses in Sanur. Or you could stay in Sanur and monger in the X houses in Sanur as well.

I didn't go to Barokah Hotel during the daylight hours. But a girl who gave me a good time there, said she had to show up at 5 PM and left at 3 AM.
I went up the side alley next to the famous Circle K on Jalan Danau Poso in the day and it was dead. Same for 29. There are two on Jalan Sudamala as well but I walked past them and they appeared to be closed. You would have found the answers to any of your reasonable questions, if you had bothered to read this thread for the past year.
