I will be staying in Bandung for a few days. Please help me where I can find beautiful sunda girls, students etc. I would like to avoid pros from aquarium. I prefer girls from house, students, even if they are little expensive. Any contact numbers, guidance will be highly appreciated.

Just a quick comment on bandung.
Was there about a year ago.
Very comfortable and interesting train journey from Jakarta, found Bandung quite a quaint town with its unique Art Deco buildings, and crumbling old Dutch colonial architecture.
However, not much doing! only bar I found with possibilities was the North sea Tavern but same old Shit. Girls working behind the bar very attractive with reasonable English but a no go area, girls working in the bar (about the same 5 or 6 every night) nothing to write home about.
I tried everything. walked around town, asked directions, checked out the shopping centres. nothing doing!
some quick review on my last trip to Bandung,
first night, try the SW at Alketeri or alkateri ( not sure about the spelling) quite good selection, 15-20 girls roaming around (5-6 in my rating). F/S for around Rp100K, make sure you bargain.
2nd, my host invite me to brothel around Cibadak (again not sure about the spelling) called Citra. small sleazy bar and karaoke up front, go to the back side and you'll see a fish tank, around 20 girls inside just tell the guys beside the fish tank whome d you want to pick. for F/s he told me fix price of Rp 130K but when I come up to the room the girl tell me for air conditioned room it would cost more so with A/C room around Rp175K, as horny bastard that i am, so I said ok. The girl name is neely or nely. nice girl speak awfull english but using international sign language we got through ok. she wash me, bbbj, doesnt take it on anal though, what a shame. Gave me her number for future visit.overall experience is OK (6)
Just want to say i had a trip to citra and it is ok for the price you pay.
Theyre is a similar place on jalan gardu jati. Just enter the small street beside the bouraq airlines office. A men will soon approach yu and bring you to the place, Price is cheaper. Was 90 000rupiah and 110 000r depending on how cute the girl was.average 6 to 7...but i had a 9 once.

I read the hotel Pardana Wisata burned down, with some loss of life.
Pity, that hotel was good, and very well-situated, right in the middle of the red light district.
Was it rebuilt, or can someone recommend an alternative?

Red-light-district may be an overstatement. I mean the very same street where the Perdana Wisata was situated. Quite a few karaokes, one major disco as far as I can remember. At least two massage parlours were within walking distance, don't remember the name though. I remember picking up a girl in the street in front of the hotel. She was hiding (probably from the cops) behind parked cars.
Indonesian guides told me that was the best place for girls in Bandung so if I go there again, I would like to stay in the same hotel or not far from it.
I'm not sure the hotel was rebuilt. I read somewhere that the owner was being prosecuted because of the loss of life in the fire, so they might have gone bust. What with tourism on the decrease in the whole of Indonesia, there may not be many people willing to reinvest in a burnt-down hotel.
Hey zero if your looking for a cute overnight. Just go to any hotel...after looking up the room and before checking in ask if they have any girls(awewe).....they rarely have but they can get one for youJust say if you want small or big or whatever turns you on. I think the going rate for an overnight is around 350 000rp....last time the guy brought the mamasan with 3 girls to choose from.
If out of luck in bandung go to Ciater(north of bandung near lembang on the road to subang) or Ciapanas garut(near garut). These places are full of kukupu malam...and i have had much better girls theyre then in bandung. All the hotels theyre are in the busyness of finding girls for you.

I am actually at bandung last night, and saw that the hotel is on the process of rebuilding. In my opinion they are better than before.
Maybe after they finish i will try them, I usually stay at Kedaton or Savoy hotel.
Have you been to citra? it was near by perdana wisata, in my opinion they have quite a good service, I am quite bored with them though since it was the only place I know that have decent pussy. any suggestion?

After shops close, 9pm, grab a cab and cruise Jalan Otista, many of the girls are going home from work and waiting for taxis, others are waiting for guys like us! The drivers know the routine and will slow down, which alerts the girls to your purpose. Somehow they will indicate accordingly.

I lived in Bandung, but left 2 years ago. I haven't been there lately, so things might have been changed a little bit.
At that time there used to be a karaoke club in the Northern Part of the city (Setiabudi area), where you could ask for a private singer in your VIP room. And she didn't sing only, can't remember what the price was. It is called Eden Karaoke. Had some great times there with Dewi and Vita.
The North Sea pub at Braga is a nice place to start your evening. Don't expect too much from this place, the girls don't look that good and are a little old. Try one of the bigger discotheques in town, Klub Pesta or Studio East. It is very easy to have a nice girlfriend experience in these places. Be carefull with the most beautifull ones, they can cost you a fortune.
If you don't want to go to a bar, go visit Ciater (the Sariater hotel) to the north of Bandung and try to find yourself a beautifull sundanese girl near the hot springs. On saturday evening it can be very crowded there. If you speak indonesian you can also try Lembang, a small village on the way to Ciater. It is well known that a lot of college students visit the place malam minguan (go out on saturday evening).
I once met a girl named Widia there, near the susu Lembang statue. She worked in Lembang in one of the hotels and she had her own appartment where she invited me. We spent the night together and enjoyed it both thoroughly, but the neighbours probably not, because the walls were made of chip board
I agree with Dodih about the hotels. All the hotels can take care of girls for you. Just ask descreetly to the bellboy who brings you to your rooms and give him a good tip. He will take care of you.
My favorite place to invite a girl for short time was Hotel Yehezkiel, not far from Gedung Sate. Very clean place, airconditiong and dirt cheap. Kedaton was good value for money to spend the night, but try the Hyatt or the Sheraton. They sometimes have ridiculous discounts and at that time both the bars were still catering to a lot of freelancers. I am not sure about the current situation

In the same street a lot of Karaoke places are situated. Take care. We entered one, bought ourselves a beer and looked at the merchandise. Asked for the price and they told us it was something like 100K for 1 hour, which sounded quite cheap. Afterwards however we found out that you'll pay for the girl sitting next to you, and nothing else. We tried to get our money back, but then we noticed that the o'so friendly barkeeper changed into a ruthless guy, not willing to negotiate. We paid and hurried out.

You have to show up directly to bahureksa 15, they normally open after 6pm. There are lotsa girls to choose from. The going rate is approx. idr200-250k for short time and double for long time. You can try by knocking at the garage door ask for mr edo. You wont get any hassle.

Oops, sorry, got home drunk the other day and forgot my promised follow up on Bandung.
Not many guys are wrapped in the place as a mongering desination (and for some of you newbies, it isnt a term of abuse) but I had a great time there none the less. I stayed in the Dago area, North side of town, which in my opinion is one of the more beautiful city scapes in Asia. The tree lined boulevades and the art-deco arcitecture wowed me and made me wish I could spend more time there. My hotel, can't remember the name as this was back in 2003 was decent for the 220 000 rp a night tarrif and had a roof top pool which gave views of mountains in every direction. I wined and dined my Uni chick every night at the big seafood restaurants on Jl Dago and the price was never more than $20 us with beers.
I hit a couple of malls during the day times when alone and there is no end of top-quality poontang to be found. Being a university town there is a good mix of ladies from all over the Islands, as well as the stunning Sundanese girls. I only sat and talked with the girls, mostly students or office workers and enjoyed a coffee and a chance to further practice my Indonesian. I did however take home two working girls from a Braga bar for a 3some, all inclusive, lesbian, anal and cim for 500 000 rp + taxi money for the pair.
I enjoy Bandung for reasons above the noble hobby of mongering, a chance to enjoy an interesting university town with wonderful buildings and a pleasant climate as it is well above sea level. The ride up on the train is also worthwhile to see the lush volcanic surrounds. Oh and did I mention the pretty ladies, hehehehe. Check it out, you never know, you might just like it.

I'd add to the good precedent report the 'Tropicana Cafe', which is in the same complex than the 'Studio East' disco, relocated on Jeans Street ....
Tropicana Cafe is (was when I was there) the same kind of place than some spots in Kemang or the Model Cafe in Jogja : live music + DJs, some freelancers, and many very good looking regular girls : the Studio East disco next door is typically 'Kota style', dark, smart and loud with a impressive sound system, with many talents to be found on week-ends ......
Bandung's nightlife is nothing like JKT, but some genuine and unaffected beauties, not yet spoiled as in the JKT bule joints, can be easily found in the few nightspots.
I recommand the Sheraton in Dago area, beautiful Bali-style resort surrounded with rice terrasses, quite cheap, with a "Fun Pub" which is a very good freelancers meeting point on Fridays nights ....
IMO Bandung is a VERY nice town, with MANY opportunities ....

In the summer of 2002 I stayed in the Panghegar for about $25 to $30 a night with breakfast. It's about a 5 minute walk from the North Sea Bar. It's got a so so pool and a so so gym to work out in. Not sure what kind of deal you'll get during the Eid though.
There are good places to stay all over town. From looking at other posts it looks like Jl Dago to the north might be a good place to look.

kakiLast time Bandung was about half a year ago. Most action can be found in Jalan Braga and especially in the North Sea bar or in the Amsterdam bar, many free-lancers in the week-ends and mainly (surprisingly friendly) pro's during the week. Every taxi driver can take you there. You can take the girls to your hotel or to the KTV next door. Another possibility is the Tropicana bar. Mostly young girls in the parking garage at the entrance of the elevator that want to increase their income during the week end but less action during week days. Some SW close to the station. The Sheraton hotel used to have a convenient "fun cafe" but last time they were changing it into a conference room. Bandung can be fun, but if you don't like it you can have for about $35 a return air ticket to Jakarta where the real action is.

Anyway, this is Ramadhan month so basically no monger place such as bars, KTV are open.
But, As I saw in my usual stroll, SW are still o'plenty in Alketeri st, Banceuy st.
I don't know about bars in Hotel though, never got a chance to experience them.
But as long as I know they are open.

I am from Jakarta but I am regularly in Bandung for business reasons.
I have only bad experiences. The Girls in North Sea are Pros and are not beautiful at all. They look like having min. 3 children each.
The Karaoke Places in Braga Street have Fish Bowls with nice fishes, but according to the guys who lead you to the paradise, there is only singing on the menue. Please let me know if this is not true. Next to this You cannot bring them to your hotel.
The disco in opposite to North sea is similar - the mamasan introduce you to the girls and tells you that the money is for "talking only" !
I might be stupid, but I believed it and went away alone.
The best way to find someone is the the Bahureksa 15 if there are enough girls you can choose from. So be there before midnight. An other alternative ist ot ask someone in the hotel, in general they manage to find a good one.
Please let me know if you made different experiences.

It's been 3 years since my last visit to Bandung, so I hesitate to offer too many specifics. But I will say that my take on the place is that it's better for a short-term GFE kind of thing than for finding quality pros on the street or in the bar. I was there for over a week so I had time to meet 2 different girls, spend the time wining and dining them, and getting down to some action after about 3 days.

Emphasize the companionship part and de-emphasize the sex part. Everyone knows some student friend or relative that might be up for guiding a foreign guy around. The only caveat is that this approach often takes time. So people on a one or two day visit maybe should stick to SW or bar girls, which in Bandung tend to be lower quality.
One place I liked at the time was this restaurant bar in the north part of town. It was in some garden area, part of a hotel or meeting area. I can't remember the name but there were some nice freelancers there. Maybe someone who's been in Bandung more can name the place.

I was in bandung yesterday, and returned to Bahureksa 15. For the guy asking about hotels - I stayed at hotel kedaton, very near jl braga and the train station. at ~$35/night i think it's one of the best deals in town, but make sure you stay on the side AWAY from jl braga if you want to avoid hearing a distant but noticable "doof! doof! doof!" bass thump while you're falling asleep.

Bandung ready to close Saritem, its oldest red-light district

Bandung's oldest red-light district, Saritem, could soon be forced out of business as the city administration prepares to crack down on prostitution.
The administration says it will begin implementing a 2005 local ordinance on order, cleanliness and beauty in November. The ordinance contains an article on prostitution that says anyone who provides sexual services for money -- sex workers and their pimps -- can be fined up to Rp 50 million. Anyone using these services can face a fine of up to Rp 5 million.
Dozens of public order officers began passing out leaflets Wednesday to inform residents of the ordinance and the penalties they could face for violations.
However, most sex workers in Saritem said they had heard nothing about the matter.
"I was out all day and we didn't get any leaflets ...," said "Citra", a 21-year-old sex worker from Indramayu, West Java, on Thursday.
According to data from the Kebon Jeruk subdistrict, where the red-light district is located, there are about 450 sex workers and 73 pimps operating from two neighborhood units in Saritem.
"We've conducted regular programs to let people know about the ordinance. On Wednesday we called all the pimps and 64 of them showed up to learn about the closure plan and the fines to be imposed by the city administration," Kebon Jeruk district head Yayan Ahadiat said in Bandung on Thursday.
He said the information was expected to be passed on to the sex workers by the pimps.
Sex workers who have heard about the approaching crackdown are concerned for their futures, and want the city administration to help them find alternative work if the red-light district is closed.
"Go ahead and close Saritem. They have been planning it for a long time. But we have not been offered any alternatives, so how can we earn money to eat?" said 23-year-old "Dina", who has been a sex worker in Saritem for four years.
The red-light district has been in the city since colonial times. Authorities first began talking about shutting down Saritem in 1998, as part of a morality campaign.
Billions of rupiah were reportedly spent by the city administration to build the Darut Taubah Islamic boarding school in the middle of the red-light district in 2000. The school was located in the area to improve Saritem's image, as well as to promote religious teachings among the sex workers, about 80 percent of whom come from outside Bandung.
But six years since the school was built the red-light district is still open and as busy as ever.
The head of Bandung's Islamic Boarding School Communication Forum, Imam Sonhaji, who came up with the idea to build the Islamic boarding school in Saritem, said the main problem with getting women out of the sex business was finding them alternative jobs.
"There are training programs to provide them with new skills but they (the sex workers) have no capital. The administration should come up with a solution to help them get out of prostitution," he said.
In addition to those directly employed in the sex trade, about 1,000 other Saritem residents earn a living from the red-light district, including running food stalls and massage parlors for customers drawn to the area.

DiverNope, it is alive and kicking :D as ever. I was there last weekend with two great mongers and the bario was flooded with all kind of girls. Pricing from 75K to 300K, though the last category is very small. Majority costs about 200K.
A Bandung monger told us that the best way to monger in Saritem is to find a place renting rooms only. Ask one of the guys there to find you a girl. Give a description and most important, tell the price you are willing to pay! (Saw a cuty for 100K!)
Other nice play to visit is Citra at jln Cibadak (Yanti, a beauty for my standards) or Aloha {(forgot the streetname) (Mega, very small and cute)}.
Avoid Bandung Sauna in jln Cibadak!!!
Be prepared though that AR is more common in Jakarta.

I went with JAD and Menteng this weekend, and found Bandung a nice alternative to Jakarta. While the mongering wasn't as good, it does have some possibilities.
I saw a cute one at Alohaa, but she said she didn't like bules, and she said my dick size was too big. I offered to prove her wrong, but no such luck. In reality, I'd guess that she thought I would squish her to death. :)
The Hotel Cemerlang was decent deal. 239K nett for weekdays, or 269k for Saturday nights, including breakfast for a standard room. While a little further away from some of the mongering, the rooms were pretty nice, although the AC was quite weak.
They have in room massage for 65k. As luck would have it, I waited an hour to get a masseuse, and got the ugly one. Menteng got the cute one, and a nice BJ, while all I got was an offer of a HJ for 200k! No thanks!
Citra was a decent experience, but the papasan will promise a lot of stuff for the girls, that they won't deliver on. However, for 200k total all in, it wasn't too bad. This fishbowl style place has about 15-20 ladies there, with the ladies being in the 4-7 range.
We had some nice dining experiences around town. Eating at some food malls, and a Chinese style place were quite inexpensive, always less than 100k for 3 or 4 diners including drinks and other goodies.
The area with the brothel houses were pretty nice. When I found one I liked I think I got an inflated price, and decided to skip it. I think most were in the 150k range. Most of the houses in these alleyways had 5-10 women in each one. There is a hotel around the corner from these places, I don't recall the name, so I'll let Menteng post some details about it.
Maybe once Jakarta is totally underwater, all the mongering will move there. :)

Doing some "homework" and reading the thread, I was hopeful to locate some info on my hobby, mall hunting, but unfortunately it returned meager results - Adindas post mentions Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP) as a place for pick ups.
So the question is, would some of the esteemed members be able to give me a few gentle pointers in the right direction for mall hunting in Bandung? - My own info on Bandung is quite old, stemming from the time I was still an innocent boy. :D

I stayed there once, but even if the location is strategically good for mongering and mall-hunting, i nevertheless prefer the Sheraton, which is definitely the most pleasant hotel in town, with a wonderful balinese atmosphere, good restaurant, nice pool, ect, but quite far up on Dago hill.
North Sea is a fun place, yet, on "Jean's street" (Cihampelas), the Tropicana Cafe, where there's often a good non-pro potential, as in the disco next door, Studio East, are much better IMO, nevertheless quiet on weekdays, as everywhere in Bandung.

Aston hotel is in my opinion not a good hotel but it is situated in braga st.
Swiss Belhotel is nicer but it is not within walking distant to braga.
But Prosal is right about Sheraton, it is a nice hotel. but around 20 minutes by car to braga.
Perhaps Hyaat is much closer to braga and it is a nice hotel, I thing the rate is around 800.000 rups

Price on yahoo mentions 110 US per nite, am not sure if that would be the best deal .. but maybe still a bit much. Not so long ago I stayed one night at (Grand?) Panghegar. When I asked about Braga, the doorman said: "that, there, is jl. Braga". I didn't go there, but if you can trust those words, jl. Braga must have been very, very near.

Seven years in lovely Bandung and my favorite romping hotel is still Hotel Sawangaling on Jl Taman Sari. It's up from Braga about 7-10 Minutes by Taxi just below ITB. It's a small colonial hotel in a quite neighborhood used mostly by visiting proffesors from ITB. The Supior delux Kamar 'Sawaggaling' has vaulted ceilings. two balconies, couches, big comfy bed and a nice old world charm too it.
It's girl friendly, but best to be discreet. If you've got an obvious hoe, I'd go elsewhere. But if you get a clean fresh girl (s) it's fine.
Good luck with Malls. My find with bandung girls is there's a boner girl on every corner and mall, but when approached they tend to smile, give a phone number and decline an offer for a ride back to the hotel. If you meet the same girl in Jakarta their more than likely to join you for a night of soiling the sheets. Yep, tend to be a bit stand offish on their home turf.
The tested Braga ground the 'north sea' was once a great spot to hook up with a hottie. Problem is the hotties are still there 10 years later and their not so hot anymore. Now any hotties consider the North Sea to be a spot for washed out hoes and old drunken Dutch guys.
In my day I found kitty corner of North Sea - Ceasars Palace to be the spot. Wednesday and Saterday nights are good. The best day is Sunday. This is ABG night. Before going in try making friends with an Indonesian (gay prefferbly) get a table on the top Balcony looking over the dance floor, buy some beers and tell your new friend you want a girl. He'll start looking you deceide if she meets your tastes. If she does, buy some more drinks and let the night unfold. If she's with a friend whose attractive at the end of the night you can invite them both back. It's a different scene then the Jakarta romps as the place isn't visited by foriegners much. Locals with Locals. It's good to be able to speak some Indonesian. Stay away from the intial agressive girls. Their the pro's and theres much better.
Otherwise for a quality bang for the buck go to Saritum. Best to go in the late afternoon 5ish. Don't stop in the dens as you first enter, keep going in to the bowels of Saritum and it will open up into more window shopping then you'll be able to handle. Use one of the many guides to show you around. there pretty decent and get a commission from the deal. I usually give a small tip. There's one short term hotel there that's very clean. Don't know the location. Take a look around. Find the decent hotel. Drink a beer, shop around and bring her back to the room. Rememeber when you pay you pay for two pops. So take your time.
Bring a cap and enjoy.

It's been almost 5 years but I stayed there for my last visit to Bandung.
It's about a 5 minute walk from the North Sea Bar.
It's probably about 3 star level with 4 star pretentions. There's a smallish pool, rudimentary gym. At that time I think I paid around 300,000 rupiahs a night. It was okay value I thought.
Saritem RLD was closed (permanently) last Wed.

I am sorry to confirmed the report of saritem passing.
Despite it's age, & survived the Dutch, the Japanese, the old order, the new order, the reformation era , Saritem is closed for good.
Or so they say, it happen before, & it can happen again.
Saritem had been closed & open from time to time, although this time is a bit different than before
The pimp that I know there seem less optimistic this time around.
He even try to get a job with me ;)
So will it open again? perhaps, there is a slim chance.
Let's hope this clean & affordable "tension release" place can be revive again
before some "tense" customers had other funny ideas

I went to Bandung last week.
Saritem was really closed and my contacts informing that none was open. Even there was one incident, the residents hitting the Municipal Police who were passing by the area with their car.

Had a funny experience in Bandung about a week ago. Went in search of Bahureksa 15 (I think that is what it was but not sure). It is a house on a residential street but was closed and in darkness. Saritums doors may finally be closed for good.
Saritum often closes during various holidays and opens afterwards. The latest closing was for the upcoming Governors race in West Java. That was two months ago and Saritum is not yet open for business. The new Governor is a strict Muslim who proposed during his campaign to implement Sharia Law in west Java. Braga's, north sea is what it is, basically a place where most women are beginning to enter their menopause stage in life. Saritum often closes during various holidays and opens afterwards.
Without Saritum I find the tromping grounds in Bandung to be limited.

Hmm, some out of date info here I think. The Amsterdam closed up before Christmas, and as far as I know has not opened again since. I have done both and preferred the train. 2 years ago it was only 75K IDR for a so called eksekutif ticket, similar to a simple standard at home but sufficient. Much more comfortable than the bus at least. Also worth noting is that the bus station is a bit out of town, both in Bandung and Jakarta, while the train goes into the center.
I see from my diary that I stayed at Guntur hotel, 155K IDR for standard room and 180K with AC. Simple, but ok. For nightlife I didnt see much worth mentioning. The infamous Jalan Braga had definitely gone downhill. But this was 2 years ago.

Once I tried a Cipaganti (small air conditioned passenger mini vans, servicing both cities) anticipating a 2 and half hours journey, but the traffic conditions turned it into 4 hours plus.
So, I agree with Bro Bone, the train the preferred option (3 hours- no traffic jams). Also, am not keen on Jalan Braga either. The bars are ok, but it's like a mini Jalan Falatehan (blok M in Jakarta), with a difference: girls are older, fewer and demand a higher price.
I stayed a few times in the Aston, which is in walking distance to Jalan Braga. Taking girls up to the room here, no problem. Rooms are modern but perhaps a bit small. Caesar Palace is close by and starts to get crowded after 11pm, Thursday to Saturday.
Type it in Google ("Caesar Palace Bandung") and you get some interesting info on YoutuB. The Bandung tourism website has great info on nightlife, massage, karaoke, accommodation, etc in general.
In my experience, the Alun-Alun (town square) is good for daytime and early evening free-range chicken hunting, but there are some unattractive aging harpies also doing their rounds here, better beware of that.

jalan asia afrika after 1am you have sketchy streetwalkers - it took some looking but i found a nice one right up my alley last time i was in bandung (a few months back)

Do you guys know where the Oriental MP in Bandung is?
My first time visit to Indonesia had me in Bandung around the last week of April. I didn't research the list that JamesBonks posted but I can say for sure that there is lots of P4P around the train station (Stasiun Hall). There are two areas that I discovered within walking distance that cater to locals. And I'm not talking about the more upscale area that has already been mentioned which is located about a 15 to 30 minute walk southwest of the train station. (I managed to get a little lost on my return night time walk back to my cheapie hotel room near the station.)
When exiting the south side of the station, you can cross a one-way traffic street going from left to right. The name is Jalan Stasiun Barat (according to Google Maps) and if you go to the right (or in the same direction as the traffic) is where I saw many of them standing around in the evening. They were between streets Jalan Dulatip and Jalan and Jalan Pasir Kaliki (which changes to Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto). They might be there during the day, but I didn't check.
All the ladies I saw appeared young and attractive. I spoke to only one of them and was a little discouraged. As soon as she saw I was a foreigner, I could see the opportunistic look in her face as told me 500,000 rupiahs or over $50 usd. I wasn't ready for any action at the moment, nor was I in the mood to negotiate prices being that I had just arrived the day before and was still trying to get orientated to my surroundings. However, I'm sure the local price was much, much lower.
The next day, a local "tour guide" offered to show me around. Like so many people there in Indonesia he was homeless, but frequently stayed at the same hotel with his buddies who worked there. His English was good and seemed smart and honest enough to have him show me the local houses of P4P action. I gave him 50k for a few hours gathering information of interest.
Within a 20 minute walk in the southwest direction from the station, he showed me maybe 6 to 10 place in the small ally ways which cars can go. These alleys were in one of the quadrants off of the main street Jalan Jamika or Jalan Soekarno Hatta and the cross streets Jalan Sudirman or Jalan Pasirkoja. I wish I took notes to be more precise. They appeared as regular homes from the outside without obvious indications to the outsider. Since it was mid to late morning, most of the ladies were still sleeping or just waking up. They all appeared cute enough and well under 25 years of age.
My guide said the price was 300,000 for as long as it takes to bust your nuts twice. He also said that these places were of much higher quality compared to the area I mentioned next to the station. Again I'd guess the local price was way lower, esp. since my guide seemed to be subtly encouraging me to partake. However, my mission was reconnaissance for the time being. I also sensed that there was a payoff for him in store if I did. And I wouldn't be in the mood to negotiate prices with everybody watching. I prefer that to be more private. Besides, I had already established my own rates from Jakarta and Bali to be 100k an hour until I learned better how things worked.
Hopefully somebody will do some follow up "research" on what I saw and reported. I'm sorry for not having more info but I was more determined to meet some ladies from the website approach. As it turned out, the first one took me into her home and around the villages for a week. Was a near priceless experience aside from the free sex.

i have done both and preferred the train. 2 years ago it was only 75k idr for a so called eksekutif ticket, similar to a simple standard at home but sufficient. much more comfortable than the bus at least. also worth noting is that the bus station is a bit out of town, both in bandung and jakarta, while the train goes into the center.
i see from my diary that i stayed at guntur hotel. 155k idr for standard room and 180k with ac. simple, but ok. for nightlife i didn't see much worth mentioning. the infamous jalan braga had definitely gone downhill. but this was 2 years ago. i worked in jakarta and bandung for 6 months and travelled on the train every week. business class is 50k and although old has large seats and loads of leg room. some trains have power so i can work on my laptop most of the way. the last hour of the trip closest to bandung has magnificient scenery as the train rises from sea level to 700m thru the mountains and over amazing ravines. definitely worth a look.

I did not manage to find Jln Sarium, I walked from Braga along Jln Stasiun Barat to paskal hypersquare where I had makan malam. So I didn't quite make it. I will next visit, LOL.

For Jalan Saritem start on jl Gatot Subranto which then turns into Jl Asia Afrika. Follow this all the way out untill things start looking seedy and a few karaoke and spa signs catch your eye.
Turn right at the sign that says cumi cumi massage and follow the path next to the stream along for approx 100m. You will pass over a small bridge. Turn right and turn into second or third alley on the left. Price from 150 to 200 000 normal price. You can argue the bule price down that they will throw at you but if you are 1st time there. After 8 pm on weekends the place gets packed with locals and people from Jakarta, so your chances of getting a pretty fresh one are slim. Better to go towards the end of the month before the locals get their paychecks, The place offcially closes at 11, but there are a few dens open all night.

Even in 2001 Bandung was still quiet compared to now and I remember in 1997 one could walk anywherer on the Jalan Asia Afrika street any time of the day and there would never be too many cars and surely no traffic jams.
What has not really changed is the Alun Alun. And I can confirm therer are streetwalkers active there. As there were in 1997 and 2001. I spend about one hour alone there and I was approached 3 times, two of the girls that approached me were accompanied by a pimp.

I went to jogja and after that I went for a short stay in Bandung as I had to see why all indonesians say that Bandung ones are the prettiest of whole java. I heard they are more white but just that can not be it can it? So I would like to share my very short and probably incorrect view / experience.
First of all Bandung seems full of outlets with the cutest girls ever but with the cute character and relative "small" citycenter comes also the general kampung control as many know each other. So I seemed not able to do much with them in this short time period or I picked out the wrong ones and got that impression. I only was there for 3 short days, the weekend it is supposed to be full of Jakarta people so that could change the scene. I went to some shopping malls, no idea wich one is the BIP mall, and I must say I never saw more smiles except in Makassar towards me. Not to much action from my side as I planned for the paying and sure thing experience of one of the spa's later anyways. Jalan Braga has bars that can stay open till midnight (most places close early in Bandung) and I went inside a karaoke joint. Mostly sexy, sometimes fat, and greedy for tips, so I did not go all the way as the international trade negotiation respect was lacking from the start. Only a few hot ones though, the others plain fat or ugly if you are not drunk. They told me 300 k for 2 hour karaoke and 200 k for each girl that accompanies you and FJ should be possible inside, included, but I felt a lot of additional tipping would be present. Except for the outlet's I only saw 1 bule in town.
So I went to hypersquare (jalan pasirkaliki) which is not really a square (parking ticket at the entrance), just a block of houses and bigger buildings. On the right you see a club (think it was called amnesia) and if you go immediately left you have a venetian executive karaoke and behind that their spa (venetian spa). The karaoke entrance looked like a very fancy Jakarta style building; the spa entrance looked like a colonial old forgotten door. Inside I was well received and the mamasan spoke english and explained me the different paket. Spa for 300 k, All included packages (rubin, esmerald, .) 580 - 680 - 780 depending of the class (how cantik) of the girl. AI must say that they all looked gorgeous and I never had a more pretty line-up before my eyes (around 20 girls, most of them local sunda). I picked a rubin without knowing it and got a for me 9/10 and very GFE. Not much massage though. I asked around and some do BBBJ spontaneously, others only if you ask. You can have two at the same time but then you just pay double (no discount). At the cashier you get a paper who says 200kIDR of the previous stated money is a tip to the girl. It does not get added to previous mentionned rate. I gave a tip in the room. Probably too much but none or all seemed fine. Maybe for some on the negative side, the sound acting was a bit overpracticed if you are not in to that.
So all in all if you want to go for the comfort option 680 kIDR with a gorgeous sundanese for one hour and a half is a pretty decent option in a city as Bandung. The inroom hotel pijat I asked one time wanted much more for just a HJ and was negotation unbreakable. If you have a lot (and then I mean a few weeks) of time and do not mind the game, I would go for the freebies though, enough choice in the malls and the outlets.
Edit: Keep in mind that bandung has no ojeks, mostly angkots and the three wheel driving buggy's. Taxi's are harder to get then in jakarta. Bluebirds are limited and drive around in certain area's. Taxi lightblue "GR" is a decent option. Most of them will pretend though that they not know where your hotel is so be a little bit prepared if you are on a budget. No bike rentals like in yogya or bali.

The bars and Restaurants in Jalan Braga would be another option.

I recommend the bars on Braga. Just beware of a few things.
- Saturday night the street is closed off for the night food market. If your ok with crowds and not shy you can meet lots of people here on the street. Highly recommended for the food BTW.
