Used to have a regular JKTA visit every 3 months or so last year, but due to other interests in other locations haven't been there for a year.

CheersThe place you are stating if I am not mistaken is Hartono's escort agency. I am not very sure whether they are still at 3 Juta. Why dont you get JAD himsel f to take you there again. He can also get you Viagra or Cialis. Its all there on his website.

Well, I've finally been back at work for a week, and managed to have a few minutes to catch my breath.
A big thanks to JAD for showing me some nice places. He warned me that staying at Take's was a pain, and he was right. We had some great meals at a Dim Sum place in Mangga Besar, Furama and Super Chicken (er, Kitchen).

3. SIERRA, on the same side of the road Mangga Besar of Lokasari Plaza is terrific: very dark and very loud techno music; Yes, girls inside, but you cannot communicate and the quality of girls is very low. I think that girls, to resist inside, must be under drugs.
4. SPARKS discoteque, ath the opposite side of Lokasari, 4-500 meters east is a nice discoteque with live bands playing, I went there 2times for relaxing, after a heavy day in Jakarta; waiters are friendly, the bands change every week, and you can find middle-class FL girls on Friday and Saturday nights, and the around 10 professionals. Average quality, every night.

I stayed at the GH a couple of weeks ago. I didn't discern any P4P action in the hotel, but I didn't look too hard. I know you can hunt in the actual mall part for some higher class girls, but I don't know how often you can find willing participants. Keith Blok M is a place where the girls know the market price and it isn't hard to get them to stick to market price, as for CJ it can be good it can be bad, depends on your luck. I just return from Jakarta for business stay 4 days ,I will not go there just for mongering ,it is a long flight from HK about 4 hr and you need to paid for visa on arrive 25 usd for 30 day for US passport .

There is no big mongering "scene" in Puncak! You can get there by taxi for a few Rp100k and I assume by bus but that could be tedious. I've been to Puncak a few times, it's popular as a business meeting venue as it's cooler during the day and almost cold at night. I've found girls there no problem. If you go to any road side cafe (warung) and ask around, somebody will have a "sister" or "cousin" for you. AC is cheaper than Jakarta if you want to keep the girl all night. The hotels in AC are cheaper and there is no cost of taking taxis anywhere in AC because all the bars are within walking distance of the hotels. The only place I know of that is cheaper than AC is Phnom Penh. But Jakarta is more modern than AC or Phnom Penh. Bangkok is more modern than Jakarta but even more expensive than Jakarta. I don't mind paying extra for a more comfortable experience. That's why I prefer Thailand over the Philippines and Indonesia. But all 3 are good.

Strange - you "promise long and detailed reports when I am back about Jakarta, Macau and Philippines" yet you've only written one post so far, a post that asked a question without giving us any useful info. So it's hard to get excited about answering you.
Hotel Travel is on Jalan Mangga Besar VIII, which is a side road off of Jalan Mangga Besar, a major east-west road in the northern part of Jakarta.
TC or Today Country is located inside the main building of Lokasari Plaza, which is located on Jalan Mangga Besar. A mamasan at TC once informed me that they would not employ any girl older than 20 years of age there.
The much-discussed Kartika Spa (famous for its soapy body-to-body massage) is located in the first alley off Jalan Hayam Wuruk, just south of the intersection of Jalan Hayam Wuruk and Jalan Mangga Besar. CJ's is much much classier, and the current band puts on quite a show. Expect to pay the equivalent of $6.50 for a bottle of Heineken there. Tonight (Tuesday) it was not crowded at all, although I did pick up an awesome hottie IMHO. Last Saturday there were plenty of available women at CJ's and it was going strong when I departed around 2 AM with my "date". I understand that Wednesday is ladies night at CJ's, so that may bring in some more weeknday action.

Still owe you guys some details on the action from CJ's. But another note from today is that I finally collected my free professional massage from the Mulia Hotel. If you're a long term resident or generally know the scene Ramadhan doesn't pose insurmountable problems (but it still does make things tricky) but if you're a first time visitor then I think you'll find it tough, your visit pretty much coincides with the fasting month, so you can write off two weeks (at the beginning and at the end) completely and if you haven't already made the connections and know where to go then I would seriously suggest rescheduling your visit.

just come back from my great trip in south eastern asia and happy to share with you information details and pics. in the next days you will also find more report about angeles, guangzhou, macau and manila in the proper forums.
first of all i would like to thank sm for giving me the information about the address i asked for. they have been very useful. and i would also like to add to the ones who, at any questions, reply landed at noon coming from manila (very easy and quick bureaucracy and ten dollars to pay for visa) and i found my limo for my hotel (250.000 for the limo and 60 dollars per novotel, breakfast included). a quick shower and immediately went to kartika. the first problem is that the taxi driver. that one but i can say all of them. spoke no english so, even with the kind information about its So the second part of my Jakarta report. After my not wonderful Kartika experience, I decided to have a walk in Lokasari Plaza. The major exceptions are some venues that are operating within a hotel for example the 5* hotel bars, hotel travel, marioboro, Alexis etc.. For those that are open the will have shortened hours and muted operating practices. Furthermore the first weekend of Ramadan and a 4-7 day period around Idul Fitri (right after the fasting month) will have a 100% absolute shut down. I also believe this will be true for one weekend in the middle of the month as well.
This is an oft asked question and I could tell you to RTFF, but in reality the degree of openess varies from year to year. What's worse for planning is that you have no idea in advance how lenient things will be. However, if one does come RTFF will give you an idea of how places will operate if they do open.
If you are a resident or frequent visitor will a ripe full sets of contacts, Ramadan can be a real boon. Back in April I had just one night to sample what Jakarta had to offer, unfortunately, and not even a full night: only about four hours before I had to get to the airport. Security in the 5 star hotels I've been in is pretty lax. I've been driven in through the garage, and had no security at that entrance. Most checks when coming in, only look for a big bomb in the trunk and underneath the car. They don't go through bags.
You could easily bring stuff in bags, and assemble it later. I have the same criticism for airport screening as well, so it's not just aimed at Indonesia. I think it's all a farce anyway. Someone determined enough would have something surgically implanted in their body.

The odd thing as a result of the bombing in Jakarta, some of the major hotels and govermant buidlings in Kuala Lumpur have beefed up thier security but typical it would be back to square 1 in a few months when all is forgotten!
