We always get questions about hotels, but here's a question for the Jakarta residents and apt dwellers in the room, particularly those who don't have wives or permanent girl friends to account to. Has anyone had serious issues resulting from girls from Blok M and elsewhere knowing your address after you bring them home? Coming to haunt you? Dropping around unannounced? That kind of stuff? Probably more likely to be an issue with amateurs with hurt feelings rather than the professionals, who don't usually make scenes, I reckon. Still, any ideas? Stories? Input? Strategies?

Never had a problem at either my houses or apartments .. that is from WG's. But amateurs have been known to occasionally drop by unannounced. But easily dealt with .. sorry I have a friend here just now type of comment. Having said that guys with GF's I know have had problems with amateurs popping around at awkward times.

Lots of girls. Even early evening. Many good looking. Around 30 USD (300, 000 IDR) is the going rate. But take your time in choosing. And remember this is not a place designed for Westerners (Bule). It is for Asians. You'll probably be the only white guy in the place. Which is not a problem. But realize in advance that, while you can sit there and drink beer as you decide, this is not Blok M in South Jakarta (a place set up for Westerners. A sort of tamer-yet-still-pub-like experience of Thailand/Cambodia). It's a brothel for Indo guys and other Asians who can blend in better than you. (don't let me put you off. It's fine. But not for everyone)
If you are Okay with that. Then you will find a well-stocked in-house experience.
Plus side is that it has good looking girls available earlyish evening. A one-stop shop. Negative side is that the whole area it is pretty seedy and aside from a couple of decent middle-priced hotels in the area (RTF-Hotels-F), you are miles from everything else like Blok M and Shopping Malls. Though near the tall ships. Jakarta has worst traffic in SE Asia. Be warned.

You mean by staff or by girls? I've got to say, I'm surprised at how rarely you hear of girls pinching money, although it does occasionally happen. I can remember coming home with girls in totally inebriated states and being extremely careless with my wallet on numerous occasions. I can only remember having money taken once.
I remember not so long ago, being shaken gently awake to seeing a blurry, double image of my fully dressed companion, waving Rp 500 thou that she'd extracted from my wallet, and saying "I've got to go now. Is it okay if I take this?"
I don't think Indonesian hotels are particularly bad, either. However, always nice to be able to put valuables in cash and in a safe deposit box if you can, of course.

I've never had anything taken in Indonesia. In fact, it's usually quite the opposite. I recall staying at a 2 star hotel near Lokasari, and I left some drinks in the room that I had brought with me. As I was leaving, the room attendant came rushing down with a bag full of the items to return to me.
I wish I could say the same in other countries.

Was at Maribaya the other day, and have to confirm what others have posted – that the price has gone up form 400,000 to 450,000. Still not a bad deal, as I have always received excellent service there.
Actually, the only time I was disappointed was with a girl on the evening shift (After 5 PM), and wondered if any others have noticed any difference between the service comparing the day staff to the night staff?

Yep, some years ago i got complacent. Picked up this Chinese lady (30 in age) from Sulawesi. Funny thing was I met her in the company of some folks in a bar in Jalat Jaksa and did not even bed her on the first night. Met her again the next night and took her back to my room at the Paragon. Whilst I agree with the tone of your report, there are many establishments, especially in North Jakarta and Sanur's X houses where Bule's will not be serviced. This is at the discretion of the individual girl and whilst one will not, the one beside her may. Its just a quirk of the trade. “She’s very good at doing things all night long, and for a reasonable price, only Rp 100,000 for a short time,” she says.
When no one takes the bait, Ncim chisels the price down to Rp 80,000.
“I usually get Rp 20,000 for each trick the girl turns, and the pimp gets Rp 30,000,” she later tells The Jakarta Post.
“The rest goes to the girl.”
Ncim is among hundreds of veteran mamasans and pimps working the 1.5-kilometer stretch along the Grogol River lined with Kalijodo’s 100 brothels and pubs.
The red-light area straddles Penjaringan district in North Jakarta and Tambora district in West Jakarta.
Spread over 2.8 hectares, it’s open 24 hours a day and caters mostly to middle- and lower-income Jakartans, including civil servants, police, truckers, dock workers, street thugs and university students.
Kalijodo means “river of destiny”, and fittingly enough it has come to epitomize Jakarta’s seedy underbelly thriving amid the capital’s ups and downs, the elephant in the room that pays the rent.
The bizarre love child of organized crime and a corrupt bureaucracy and law enforcement system, Kalijodo came into being as a cash cow.
While prostitution is illegal, many of the brothels are located just 20 meters from the local district office, and 100 meters from a police station, lending credence to allegations that Kalijodo is a source of income for many bureaucrats and police officers.
Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli Amar and Jakarta administration spokesman Cucu Ahmad Kurnia both declined to comment to the Post on the issue.
Besides the obvious corrupt officials looking for a slice of the pie, chronic urban poverty and unemployment are also key factors behind Kalijodo’s thriving flesh trade.
City officials have repeatedly pointed out the difficulty of closing down the brothels without upsetting Jakarta’s fairly stable security situation.
The livelihoods of at least 5,000 people — from hoodlums to sex workers, brothel owners to waitstaff, cigarette and food vendors to local residents — are tied to the continued existence of the district.
Closing down the brothels will only force the people to move to other areas to ply their trade, say critics.
Worse yet, the neighboring residential areas are among Jakarta’s poorest, for whom a sliver of the proceeds from Kalijodo’s lucrative business has always meant a lot.

The livelihoods of at least 5,000 people — from hoodlums to sex workers, brothel owners to waitstaff, cigarette and food vendors to local residents — are tied to the continued existence of the district.
Closing down the brothels will only force the people to move to other areas to ply their trade, say critics.
Worse yet, the neighboring residential areas are among Jakarta’s poorest, for whom a sliver of the proceeds from Kalijodo’s lucrative business has always meant a lot.

May be undiscovered, but certainly not hidden. You can see it quite clearly from the toll road from the airport into town if you're traveling in the far left lane, not so far from the Muara Angke turn-off, from memory.
I went there once. To be honest, apart from the novelty value, I didn't think it was worth the hassle. ST prices in the venue I went to were nowhere near as cheap as the article indicates, more in the 200-300K category. Quality was only so-so, just a fairly unremarkable collection of Indramayu chicken. Might be ok if you've already done everywhere else in Jakarta and want the full set, but apart from that, I'd stick to Kota or the Blok ....

Was in Jakarta after a couple of years and checked out many of the spots reported on this forum. Here is an update:
Monday. Spent time at Kama Sutra lounge at Crowne Plaza. Very little on offer. Two girls who joined our table were in their mid thirties or more. Sweet for conversation, though. Not much excitement. Perhaps because it was Monday! And pretty expensive too.

You are being most generous - she should be a premium on-demand GFE/PSE. Yes, I went to Kali Jodo several times during the month of Ramadan (September-October 2007) and posted about my visits here on the board. I even posted two photos of a rickety-looking bridge across the garbage-filled river (creek?) that led to three or four brothels in the same block.
I had a few good sessions there, but it was hardly my first choice for mongering, and once Ramadan was over and my regular places (Kartika, Maribaya, etc.) re-opened, I never went back to Kali Jodo.
Yes, the girls were dirt-cheap, but I found it to be a bit more hard-core and impersonal than the places I normally went to, it's a hassle to get there, the facilities can be pretty basic (one place had no shower, only a bucket of water, with one towel the size of a handcloth) and I never felt entirely safe (I only went during the daytime). Well, I agree with your conclusion, there are a lot of other places where the fun/effort ratio is much better. But I really think you're overstating how dirty and murky and dangerous it is - I went there with a few other bule friends, and everyone was friendly and welcoming, although, yeah, no English. I thought it was pretty much like the hundreds of brothel districts that you find in provincial towns across Indonesia. Like them, it's going for the lower middle/middle market. It's not REALLY slumming it, for that you have to go out onto the railway tracks and the river banks (never done that myself, by the way ...)

By all accounts, Today Country is but the very feeblest and palest shadow of its former self. Wouldn't waste your time. Go to Hotel Travel instead for sweet young things (unlikely to be college students!) or Kartika, Berlian and others in the same area for older, experienced women and dirty fun.
I note you've booked yourself in for Stadium every night. Well, sure, if that's what you want. Classic hotel is in pasar baru east from gajah mada plaza. Being as it is I. E. Hotel travel part 2 the format is the same. Girls on sofas manned by their mamasans. Now the good part is. I never heard of this place before but I would like to try it when I am in town in 3 weeks. I googled and found this place. It sounds right, close to pasar baru, east of gajah mada etc but perhaps you can confirm if it is the right venue. Cant see reference to the Terminal Cafe.

Well, I was planning to write a longer report after my visit to Jakarta, but I thought I'd share yesterdays experience.
After getting checked into Mercure Rekso (the Elevators are done.. yay - now you can actually enjoy a high-floor room), I went to Hotel Travel. Having been there a few times last year, I was looking forward to it. - Last year I met some very playful, cute girls there.
This time, however, was a disappointment - although thats mostly my own fault:
I went directly to the second room 'cause just when I got there, a big group of chinese businessmen arrived at Hotel Travel and settled in the first room. When Mama asked me, what kind of girl I wanted, I asked for a girl without baby, which she brought back to me - a real stunner! I should've sent here away right away, though, when I saw the look on her face when she realized I was a bule. Well.. she DID look really good, and when we had a drink, she seemed to be friendly enough.

Hello JKT ISG, I just got into town on my virgin trip to JKT yesterday and hit the ground running, here is my first report:
Arrival:
The CGK airport immigration sucks. I am assured that this is typical. Plan 2 hours of standing in line. Visa on arrival is exactly $25 USD. Check the list online to make sure VOA applies to your country. Bring that exactly $25 USD in cash. No photos are required for this visa. Look to your left as you come into the arrivals area, and it's before immigration. Hit the bathroom on the right, while you are there. You are liable to spend a long time in the line for immigration clearance. Best to not do it with your legged crossed and eyes floating.
General Impressions so far:
The people on the streets and in the stores are generally friendly. You can walk around, if you are experienced in walking in such areas elsewhere in the world. The main danger is from the motoboys and cars, which make the streets very difficult and unsafe and cross. Jakarta reminds me of Sao Palo, but cheaper and the people on the streets are friendlier. I would have already been knifed and robbed in Sao Paulo from walking around in such back alleys.
Hotel:
Hotel Mercure on Hayum Wuruk, Manga Bessa area. Its oft reported here and I find it nice enough, Hotel Travel is close, Kartika/Berlain is even closer. You could stay just right here for a week and never run out of pussy. Walking is difficult and Bluebird cabs are cheap, and its hot as hell. If you want to go somewhere, have the hotel people call you a Blue Bird.
Hotel Travel:
I hit this place yesterday about 5 pm. Dog tired from 'sleeping' on the floor in the SIN airport from 1AM-8AM, but decided to session right away if my little friend would agree. I arrived there on foot, the directions have been posted here before, but I recommend a taxi because it cheap, safer than walking through traffic, and you arrive clean and not sweaty.
Go in the door on the left and they give you a wristband with a number, just like the termas in Rio and Sao Paulo. You walk back through and come to a counter where you can get water or beer. A big bottle of Guiness is about 50k. Sit at a table and Mama will assign a girl to you from the 4 pools of maybe 6 girls each. Nice place with good live music performance, but the band/stage takes up to much space and environment. The music is too loud, so you hardly can communicate with your friends or others. I have tendency to tinnitus, so I have also problem in this way. Drinks are expensive too. The were 15-20 WGs, when I was there. Many of them were rather old looking and little attractive. I spotted a few young hotties but didn’t make any contact, as I went there with my first local gf.
Tiga Puluh, hotel Le Meridien
Nice place with live music similar to CJ, but not so entertaining. I think it is waste of time if you look for WGs. I only spend 1 hour there, so my report is based on this short time experience.

Top Gun and My Bar is so far my best places to go if looking for company. Have meet several girls there and taken home for LT. Most of the times it has been successful, but 3-4 times it has been a miss. My experience was that the later I waited with choosing, there higher was the risk for a miss. Nice place, which is most frequented by Asian men. I have been there 4 times and saw only 1-2 Western guys there. You to like the karaoke style to go there. I was taken there after BATS closed by a couple of prospects (which turned out to be my worst adventure to=date). I imagine that there is a big attraction for younger generation. I am approaching 50 and although I like to think I am still young in mind and body I found this club loud with 'dance' music and crammed with young people, plenty of local totty. I couldn't move and couldn't hear so not for me.
It was still open for an hour or more after BATS closed. Although I transported by my date I recall quite a lot of taksi activity around. I hope I'm not mistaken.

Eureka, finally I have found them. One each in basement of Plaza Semangii, Senayan City, and Plaza FX, all of which are close to the Atlet Century. Red Square isn't mentioned much here because too many people here would stand out like a sore thumb in that place. It's a REGULAR nightclub/disco, which means you can't go walking around in your sandals, shorts and hawaiian shirt with your big gut sticking out so far you can't see your penis.

After a some research in this forum, I decided to check out Alexis Hotel.
I am staying in Mulia hotel, I drive to Alexis was arroung 35 minutes.
Alexis Hotel is a quite strange looking hotel. The idea of the hotel is a 7 floor entertainment place, with all floor his function.
First had a security check. In the reception area at the left is the nightclub, only opening at 11pm. The elevators are behind the reception desk.

Just some Mangga Besar logistics to help people out.
1 Use bluebird taxis, signs are sometimes different on the door but look for the bluebird group web address on the front top of the windshield and it's all the same. They are metered and won't rip you off. Silverbird is fine too, but not worth the extra money since the BB cars are nice and clean as well.
2 Hotel Mercure Rekso. Maybe not the cheapest, but the best value. Nice and central to all the action, plus cab drivers know where it is, so it saves you money in 'lost taxi driver' fares. Are these guys from Jakarta or Chicago? They haven't even heard of places like Amaris or Traveler's Hotel. If they get too lost and rack up charges beyond reason, give them less than the meter fare and get out of the cab.
3 There is an ATM just to the right of the Mercure hotel in the loop driveway.
4 Come out of Mercure, back to hotel, walk to sidewalk, turn left , cross the big street and there is an Indo and Alfa Market where you can buy beer, smokes, and other instruments of destruction.
5 Come out of Mercure, back to hotel, walk to sidewalk, turn right , look to the right when you are beside the Jayakarta Hotel. Imperial Chef Restaurant. It is nice and has any kind of South East Asian food you want
6 Come out of Mercure, back to hotel, walk to sidewalk, turn right , keep walking until you see LTC/Glodok on your right. You can buy anything in there. There is a nice cheap foodcourt on I think the third level where there is free internet access too. There is a Giant Hypermarket inside as well, which is a big grocery store.
7 Take a cab to Hotel Travel. It's less than 10k (1 USD) and saves time and sweat.
8 Come out of Mercure, back to hotel, walk to sidewalk, turn left , cross the big street and there an alley on the 1st left with Kartika and Berlain.
9 General consensus seems to be, stay away from Stadium unless you want to end up paying the police a years salary to keep you out of jail if they raid it.
10 Apotek Roxy, directly across the street from Hotel New Mangga Besar sells Vitamins C and V for the start of your mega mongering trip, Amoxicillin for the middle of your trip, and Valtrex for the end of your trip.
11 Spider net, on the same side of the street as Hotel New Mangga Besar has cheap internet access.

The Experience:
It was the first time I was in Jakarta so expectations were sky high, especially after reading most of the posts in the Jakarta thread. We had a great time at Stadium and I picked up Wee Wee (21-23 y.o. WL), Body 6/10, face 6/10, attitude 8/10. Overnighter cost me a cool Rph 1 million!!!

I have read some comments on taxis, here is my opinion. If you are a first time traveller to JKT, be aware of the swarm of taxi drivers as you exit the airport hall, most of thse guys will have a blue shirt claiming to be Bluebird.
LOOK for the person wearing a BLUEBIRD shirt with bluebird written on it, keep walking until you find them. Don't get overwhelmed by the 'touts' outside the airport. Actually the bluebird stand is opposite the bluebird billboard on the opposite side of the street. I have been here several times but still only use Bluebird and Express taxis. Silver bird is fine but out of my range. My advice don't get flustered by the swarm of guys outside just look for the actual bluebird guy.

Can't say that I tried at the Akmani as there were too many people around.
Went down at about 1:00am and there were 2 guys at the desk, 1 person at the front door, 3 couples hanging around on the patio, 3 security guards on the first level and 3 more on the street level. I can confirm what KL Guy said; this hotel is gf - absolutely no issues. I think the walk of shame is in your head - not really the concerns of people in the hotel. If, however, you still feel awkward, don't go up the stairs into the lobby, but walk around the side into the car park and take the lift straight to your room without even seeing the lobby. I also took a girl down this way as she left a bit late in the morning and didn't have "normal" clothes to wear. Just walked her straight out and got her a taxi so she didn't have to do the "walk of shame";).
If your girl wasn't all lady, I can see how you might feel embarrassed - though why you took "her" when you had your suspicions is beyond me...

Met the same girl again on Sunday but she was with a friend. So just hung out at My Bar for a while.
Then they decided to return with me to my hotel and that's when it got a bit complicated. One girl was fine to go with me but here friend kept insisting that I order room service for her and that she will leave after she finishes eating. In actual fact you pay only an extra of 30 to 40K for a very nice & comfy Mercedes Limo used by Silverbird to central Jakarta and I use it especially when there is a line of people waiting for BB cabs at the airport!
Generally waiting time at Silver Bird airport stand is zero but at BB can be up to 20 minutes. Moreover, if on a bussiness trip: Silver Bird drivers can give you a receipt.

Three well-known places are all located in 5-star hotels: BATS in Hotel Shangri-La, the Tiga Puluh Bar in Le Meridien Hotel and C.J.'s at Hotel Mulia (not Hotel Melia). Please don't overpay - recent reports suggest a price of 300,000 rupiah for short-time, maybe 500,000 to 600,000 for all night. There is absolutely no need to pay 1 million - if the girl asks for that much, either negotiate down or find another girl who's not as greedy.
The bars at Blok M (Jalan Falatehan) are also a good place. You could also go mall-hunting.
In case you're interested in in-call massage places, two higher-level spas are located inside Hotel Alexis and Hotel Malioboro. Lower-level places include Kartika Spa and Berlian Spa (located next to each other in same alley) and Hotel Travel, all located in the northern part of town near Jalan Mangga Besar, and Maribaya Spa in Hotel Melawai located near Blok M.

I had been told that Classic is the happening place in town as they had the promotion going for two gals at 350k. I concur on the going rate, 300k ST. Last month, I pulled on two different nights from Blok M for 300k ST. One was younger and nice looking. The other was milf and went BBFS with pics for that amount. My ISG wingman was similarly pulling them out for 300k. They would start at 600k ST and come down, or try to sell a a 2 girl ST with their wingcewek for 600k ST. It's a bluff most of the time, but some have stubborn pride and will do a hard sell until very late when they finally give up and sell at 300k.
Smart ones will sell for 300k and take several ST's per night making a lot. Dumb ones will hold high at 5-600 and go home at dawn with only 300k or perhaps nothing. One held at 500k ST until 4 AM. I got her back to the hotel with the agreement of 300k, but I kicked her out before session due to irreconcilable differences. She only got cab fare home. If she had sold LT at 600k earlier at 11 pm like I asked, she would have been treated well and went home with maybe 700k total. Her hard sell had me aggravated, so when we got to the hotel and she said no pics and wanted money up front, as if I was still wet behind the balls and just scored my first pro poontang yesterday..she ruined it for herself. No disrespect intended to anyone but there are always two sides to this argument. Yes, she absolutely loses out. But I'm not her banker or advisor... And if your time is worth 300K to wait, then stretch it out for the wee hours of the night to get laid :)

That's another reason why it often pays to just go to the Travel Hotel or similar place - standard price, usually standard service, and if she's hot, book a second hour.

The easiest way is to find the Mercure Grand Rekso hotel on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, just north of Jalan Mangga Besar and directly in front of the Olimo stop of the Transjakarta busway.
Stand in front of the hotel with the hotel behind you, and turn left. Walk down 50 meters, cross Jalan Mangga Besar and keep walking down Jalan Hayam Wuruk. The building on your left will have an Indomart convenience store, an Alfamart convenience store, and a CFC (California Fried Chicken) store.
After this building is an alley on your left, Alley #1. Look down and you should easily see the signs for Kartika and Berlian massage parlors, also Royal Mas mp.
If you don't turn left, the next building will have Suisse Bakery on the corner, then 3 more alleys on your left (alleys #2, 3 & 4). Alley #2 is where you'll find several mps, including the mp where the girl who does the Madura squeeze works (see recent posts by Oyenk and me on this subject). Alley #4 is where you'll find the entrance to Stadium; at this point you'll have reached the Mangga Besar stop of the busway.Great directions. Couldn't have found these places without them.

First of all I would like to thank all the contributors of the forum. I RTFF and really learned a lot from their experience. I never been to Jakarta so I urge the readers to read my following summary with caution. They might not reflect the reality. However I believe most of the information is precise.
Any way, even after RTTF there are still some questions that I would like the seasoned forum members might consider to share the answers with me as well as the others if they can find some spare time.
In terms of LT service, at the Northern Part of Jakarta there seems to be few alternatives;
1 - Taman Sari 75 and 57: Where you can check after 6 PM. It seems that the LT rate is around 600 K. However there are reports (dating 3-4 years ago) which states that these houses services to only the Asian customers. They don't like to serve the bules. Is it still the case? Or that attitude changed?
2- Stadium Disco: I am not sure about the LT rate and seems it depends on your negotiation skills and date and time. But again it is around 5-600 K.
Other than this 2 places the rest of the places are mostly serving for ST (or LT is not very common). These places are Hotel Travel (ST 300K and many SYT), Tintin, Bintang Mawar, etc. There are two massage shops Kartika and Berlain where you have soapy massage for about 300 K. There are also some bars with in house facilities again for ST such as LA, Royal, MTR and Sari Ayu all are closer to each other and in a neighbourhood called (Pangeran - North East of Hotel Travel ?).
There is also a bar which was very popular named Todays Country but after many Police Raids it is not same as it used to be any more. Again SYT were working in the bar with nude shows and ST was 300K (or so) My third question is
3- Any updates regarding the TC?
In terms of the Southern part of the city the major place is the Palatehan Road (Closae to Blok M Square - and known as the Blok M Bars). DsPlace, TopGun, My Bar, are some of the popular bars. The LT at these bars are again depends on negotiation , date and time. But normally 600 K should be the upper limit. In terms of the ST there is a major difference in the definition of ST. The ST for the Northern part refers to 1 hour or 1 shot (whichever is first) but ST in these bars mostly refers to 3 hours and Multiple Shots. However there are conflicting reports on this issues.
So My fourth question is;
4- ST in Blok M bars refers to what? 3 Hours and Multiple Shots or 1 Hour or it is also negotiable? One another thing is what if One stays in a hotel that is at the northern part of the city but negotiates for ST. Just transportation for both ways seems to be 1.5-2 hours during late midnight.
There are two famous hotel bars BATS and CJs. One can find LT for 500K + in these bars. The major problem is the ladies are mostly older (which means 30+ I presume??)
Finally there is also Terminal Classic which is neither North nor South (seems center slightly closer to north) where there is a promotion now a days threesome with 2 ladies for 390K (1 Hour - 1 Shot).
So I would appreciate if you can correct this information and provide answers to some of my questions.

One another thing is what if One stays in a hotel that is at the northern part of the city but negotiates for ST. Just transportation for both ways seems to be 1.5-2 hours during late midnight.
If you mean the Mangga Besar area hotels, don't worry. It's about a 0.5 hour or less by taxi at that time of night.
Your choice of hotels could be made to suit your mongering style.
If you are primarily a LT monger like you suggest, it's easier to stay at someplace like Ambahara or even Atlet Century that has good access to the Blok M meat market bars. Maybe you should thing about staying to the south like this.
If you change your mind and would rather take many different SYT's on a ST basis, then Mercure Hayam Wuruk makes a good base for that. I stayed there last month and enjoyed the local scene, and found it easy enough to get to Blok M from there...but I think I spent more time at Hotel Travel than at my hotel. :)

There aren't too many women there that can avoid becoming hard cored professionals. They'll lie to get whatever even if you came up short of what she was truly hoping for, the fact is, she got you back to the room and got cash out of it. Just to clarify I didn't say all of them get that way. Very easy to get there - just told a Bluebird to take me to Alexis. There is a Gamya taxi rank outside (Gamya is part of Bluebird Group) so there is a safe way to get home after having fun.

3rd floor, used to be Rp. 350k now after promotion is over is Rp. 400K for 2 gals (still cheap) whereas if you take 1 gal is Rp. 240k. Normally girls expect tip at the end of session. I think most mamasans only speak bahasa Indonesia, maybe little English, use sign language would do.

Today I went to Hotel Classic.
Actual the Spa / Massage parlour is not inside the hotel. It is at the Atrium next to the hotel. It is in the same building. You only have to go 2 level up with the escalator.
The system is the same as at Hotel Travel. You will get a number when you enter and you have to pay when you leave. The difference is that on the bill are only the drinks etc. but for the girls you have to pay direct after the selection. That means you pay first and then the action can start. That´s very unusual. Another difference is that you sit in the middle and the girl sit on sofas around you and if you go to the private rooms then you have to cross almost all the girls and they can see you (it is no so hidden as hotel travel). The rooms are good and clean.
I took 2 girls (damage 400k). Tipa or Tirpa and Erna. Tipa told me she is 26 but I guess she is over 30 and Erna is around 19 (that can be true). Tipa was already very excited as we met in the lounge area. Tipa has had a baby for sure and she is a 6. Erna I would say is a 8 (appearance).
Service: I would give Tipa a 8 and Erna only a 5. Tipa took very good care of me and licked my whole body. Erna was more shy and watched more TV then to take care of me.

The last two nights I've been to CJ, I quite enjoy the atmosphere there. Few details FYI:
Entrance: Slight cover charge as u need to order a drink at higher than normal prices (for example: Bintang = 100k. whereas once u are inside, it costs about 60k).
Music: live band is good. Nice variety of musics from R&B to POP. Dj covers breaks.
Prices: a bit more expensive than the likes of Top Gun and others but of course with higher service quality.
-Heineken and pintang around 70k-60k. coctails: between 90k-110k. and of course the higher end choices costing between 200k to 500k (i.e. cognac, martinis).
again, service is really good and timely.
Girls: LOTS and MANY cuties. in fact, its the best place i've seen when it comes to girls. Last night in particular was amazing (was ladies night). Found some stunners there with prices between 1m to 700k. Of course depending on your negotiation skills. Some girls are quite picky as well. they must like u unless u willing to spend like a mad cow :P. Found girls who were genuinely looking for fun as well and no happy ending. I was lucky to get both kinds. the stunner and the fun one. It is quite good when u go there and find nice girls who r willing to stay all night with you for the fun, not for ur money.
Anyway, i should note that most of girl will spend the night with you for about 400k-500k (average looking girls).

And I'm glad to read that you noticed that, while many girls may start off by asking for 1 million (or even more), that all prices are negotiable, and most girls will settle for 400k - 500k. There's no need for any guy to overpay!
Regarding girls from Russia and Kazakhstan, you may want to check out Hotel Malioboro. Or consult with the respected senior member of ISG "Jkt After Dark 2" also known as "Jakarta After Dark" who runs a guide service for meeting girls - he can be found at the start of the Classifieds section, 4 or 5 posts down (his latest post was made in January 2009). Or, you may run across one at one of the discos, you never know.

You may also find Russian/Kazakhstan girls at the FM 1 Boutique Hotel in Taman Anggrek, right next to the highway, a tall building painted in bright colors.
