I found indocupid quite interesting. I have no experience with the DIA (datinasia?). On indocupid you see all pictures. Only catch is you have to pay for a subscription so you can read and send messages to non-subscribers, but whats 300. 000 idr for a month if you have a good turn-over afterwards. I live in Indonesia and have done for ages, so I'm not totally uninformed about the place, and all things considered I won't take the stuff out of the venue, but I am very tempted to buy it there and take it there, because frankly, for those of you who have never done meth, it is the biggest aphrodisiac imaginable. I was nearly 10pm by the time I reached the hotel (new Amaris Juanda hotel which was excellent at 400k / night). Soon I was in a taxi headed for Blok M. Needless to say, even with moderate traffic it still took 45 mins. The cost was about 35k (the hotel staff said it should be about 50k). Anyway, Blok M was nothing like I imagined. For some reason, I thought it would be all really modern bars a la Singapore. Anyway, got to the main Road (forget the name) andf quickly saw familiar bar names. Headed to Top Gun. Was amazed how busy it was on a Tues night. Lots of girls and expats and the band was loud. I was a bit shocked by the price of beer (38k) after being in Philippines for a while! I found it quite a difficult place in general to get girls' attention due the way they all sit in groups. I sat down at a table at the quiet end. Soon, a lady from the opp site of the room started making gestures and soon enough she and one of her friends were sat with me. Can't remember any names. Seemed friendly enoough but neither were really my type. I had noticed that another girl they were with had these incredible looking tits and her dress showed them off. After suggestions from me, they got her over to me. As usual, they were all from Bandung and been there for a few months. All spoke decent english. I soon struck up a deal for ST for 400k I think. I protested to no avail and ended up giving him another 100k note and got the change. Convinced I had been swindled, I mentioned this to the girl later but she just said 'I don't know'. Later after checking I realised I was a 100k short, so beware! After this I always simultaneously handed cash over whilst taking the correct change and insisting on Bluebird or Express.

Even offered to call me a girl for a crazy price. I was so desperate I even contemplated taking her! I dropped that bait by lying and saying I paid 350k for the girl night before. Over the next hour, I went into a couple of the sports bars that were open but no action. I ended up sitting outside at a table provided by a shop selling cold drinks etc nearby. Anne's 'friend' never showed but she was not interested in my offer. I figured if I can't get her then what chance do I have? Disillusioned I headed back to the hotel again.

I tried D's place but walked out when I found out they had no cold water. I went to a small looking place called Highway to heaven, I think. Some nice options in the bar downstairs wooing an old Aussie guy. Didn't manage to strike up conversation with any of them. Went upstairs to a surprisingly large dance area. Very few options up there. Saw girl from night before in there but she just ignored me. Went to Top Gun again and same difficulty getting girls' attention. Decided to wait outside to grab a girl as they walked between bars. Was midnight by now. Stood on opp side from Top Gun. Saw a few options but even then couldn't get their attention as usually in pairs or groups. Forgot to mention I had followed one petite hottie out of Highway but she looked at me like I was an alien when I called out to her just outside and ran into Top Gun. WTF are you doing man? You are going from one extreme direction to the other extreme.
I think you need more info on location in jakarta before heading out.
From sunda kelapa, the closest location would be alexis and k7, instead of malio.
And from malio to blok m where there are many other action nearby?
What restaurant are you looking for in cikini?
FYI for the parking / tol it is not covered in taxi fee. Parking usually about 2000-4000 rupiah.
What time did you go to malio? The spa open at 1 pm and the bar usually empty at day.
I think the staff at malio actually trying to be helpful, they want to tell you that there no one in the bar at the time.
And the 100k is the facilities charge for using the spa.
Also there is no pick up bar that open during the day that can take out call.
It seem that you did not have the right info regarding jakarta, hence the bad experience

CheersDefinitely Manilla if you're more into semi-pro and freebies scene. However, Jakarta has a much bigger and in my opinion better scene for p4p and there are definitely freebies available (although not to the extent of anywhere in the Phillipines) but then again I'm still in my early 20s.

DLYou are right about that. There aren't any daytime places in Jakarta where one can walk out with a freelancer. Something like the beer bars in Thailand. Planning to do a visit to Jakarta soon. Haven't been there for almost 18months. Does anyone know the whether the former TC has been re-opened. Last time it was under renovation. The closest option was at Olympic or the Spa opposite

It's very quiet on a Sunday evening, no punters and only about five or six girls, about two of whom fulfilled my criteria. I went with Etty and had a generally good time. I've got to say, I live closer to Kota these days, which also has the advantage of a rack rate that's about 200k cheaper. Even so, in Kota (Berlian, Ibu Linda and the others) , it is a little bit more hit and miss in terms of service. I've hardly ever had bad service at Maribaya. I was interested to read the responses about my report. It does annoy me when people say to read the forum, as some people do not have the time to read every single report going back months and years. I did as much research as possible and relied on the advice of one experienced member. As I stated in my report, any venue for action other than my hote room is not an option, which removes all daytime opportunities in Jakarta. The only reason I tried the places I did was due to a misunderstanding with my adviser. I thank you for explaining the situation at Malioboro and I apologise if my summary has offended anyone here. You are right about that. There aren't any daytime places in Jakarta where one can walk out with a freelancer. Something like the beer bars in Thailand. That's where regular girls, students, and the freelancers you met few nights back at BATS etc. Can fill the void. Or rather, provide a void to be filled.
Just to set the record straight so that newcomers who read will not be misled: Jakarta is what you make of it, and you DL unfortunately made very little of it. There are daytime opportunities for FLs - especially if you are a bule (let's face it, it's easier for the girls to spot you here). Mall hunting has been discussed at length and it's all a matter of how you approach someone, including the shop assistants. It's all about eye contact and speaking nicely to them. Standard rules apply. Make them laugh and you're halfway there. If you're in town for a few days, more opportunities can arise if you plan your time and activities wisely. In addition, as has been pointed out by others, there are takeout options from various spas etc as long as you're willing to pay the price. If you're that desperate to do anything in your room, you can always call for a room massage (ask for a younger girl and they'll know what you want). If you're really unclear on how to do anything, the concierge / bellboy / doorman might be able to help for a decent tip.

As mentioned before it depends on your look, your ability to speak some bahasa and what style you use. If you want "normal" girls first realize that even though you are probably very good looking to them your background story needs to be a bit decent. You can not say you only came to indonesia twice if your bahasa is fluent, nor that you have not had an indonesian gf before if you work in jakarta.
Personally I would go to the electronic department in the more back to basic shopping malls (so not plaza) but for ex. Mangga dua, gajah mada, (artha gading) , supposedly looking for some pulsah or for no reason, sit down, show you are not in a hurry, talk a bit and have a smoke at the counter (if still allowed) with the most interesting girls. Usually they are in the 18-21 age area. In plaza or eX you can try the girls who sell the movie tickets or drinks for during the movie, they seem to be much approachable on a weekday without other people waiting behind you and they are usually good looking (must be the outfit.). They give their number quite fast as they know you can not hang out to long. It worked for me.
For richer independent girls who go hang around in shopping malls, well it is not my target, unless if I would stay in Jakarta for a few months so I can not give any input on that.
For shops, Gramedia seems to be the magic one, lot of girls, some privacy, easy to start an conversation, and they always curious what you are doing in there. Talk, ask for a drink together (you are in a shopping mall already remember. Lot of places to go)
Other then that try the datingwebsites, but that is already a special kind of pool you will be fishing in. Most had some previous western boyfriend before and liked it, others have had several at the same time. Depending on what you want I would say you can find many, but do not trust them to much.

ThanksYes, Jakarta is not Bangkok, the scene is much different, in particular there is no place in Jakarta like Nana Plaza (and similar) in Bangkok.
For Thai soapy, your best bet is Kartika Spa, one short block south of the intersection of Jalan Mangga Besar and Jalan Hayam Wuruk. Unfortunately it's not near Jalan Sudirman, it's in the northern part of Jakarta, although it is on the same express bus line that goes on Sudirman and ends at Blok M. I often took the bus to Kartika mid-afternoon, quicker than a taxi during high-traffic periods.
Massage with a very happy ending? There's tons of places like that. Just off of Sudirman is Fortune Spa (across from Le Meridien Hotel). Near Blok M is the Maribaya Spa (6th floor of Hotel Melawai) , and of course there are a dozen or more spas in the four alleys where Kartika is located.
It would be a real surprise if you found a girl who brought you back to her room, that's pretty much unheard of in Jakarta. There are some short-time hotels, some of them dumps, read the forum to get more details. But it's no big deal to bring a girl to your hotel room, unless you are worried about a co-worker seeing you. Virtually every hotel in Jakarta is girl-friendly. RTFF for more details.

Just returned from a short trip in Asia and I went to the "Classic Spa" in Jakarta. I saw this lovely PRC named Fifi and got quoted for RP1. 7K, I thought it was pretty high but they said that if they're from a different country it's the normal price. So I went for it thinking I would get a great service and oh boy I was very wrong. The only thing that I would rate an 8 is her face and body but overall experience is a 5, so if you happen to go to "Classic Spa" avoid the girl from PRC named Fifi.
Ended up shopping with girlfriend 2. The idea. A sexy dress for a night out. Got the dress but needed the shoes. Found those. For some reason we never made back out of my house.

It has made me wary of ever going for them again, even though I'm often attracted to the fair skinned cute young petite ones that occasionally appear. Following the initial impulse buy based on looks / cuteness, the performance has been a total let down. Cold personality, complaining, etc. If there is one thing I do like, it is that few shave completely. I like a little tuft left there. It is so much better than completely shaved, and over in Thailand where I am now, that is almost impossible to find (well, with all the ones I've been with anyway).
Was at a loose end for one night and decided to head over there. Actually couldn't be bothered to RTFF as I figured that they were used to 'our kind', and I would be alright. Cab deposited me at the door, the door closest to the main drag and in I went.
Got told about the cover charge, given a numbered bracelet, and upstairs I went. Parked myself in front of the bat at a 4 top table, asked for a beer and surveyed my surroundings. I was instantly mobbed by 5 or 6 girls in the same powder-blue uniform, but declined their ministrations. They then went up on stage and were topless by song 3. Bluntly they need not have bothered. Looked a lot nicer with the uniforms on!
A young-ish papa came over and asked if I was interested and what I was interested in. I asked for locals, and within a mnute he had a line-up of about 7 ready to go. I saw other line ups and there appeared to be Europeans (CIS?) , PRCs and assorted others. His pricing was either 800 or 1M, and it seemed pretty arbitrary. I chose a 800K girl, solely on the grounds that she 1.) had the biggest boobs and 2.) he said that she spoke English. Now, this report now falls apart as I failed to remember her number. Her name, like in matters, was Intani.
Suffice it to say that Intani (23 years old) pretty well rocked my world. I would call her oral good, but not great, bit her work further down was just world class. So good I made her go at the rimming for a good solid 10 minutes before I declared it fuck time. Now I am a bit of an old fart, but if I can get a woman to come then I am pretty happy. And she was too."Indonesian boy not fuck good" she said."I come for you." Well, if it was an act it was a good one. My reward was to get a pretty robust fuck from her with some hair pulling and spanking thrown in to spice it up a little. I also got my requested facial finish. And it was a good one too.

it is not somewhere that many people know about. i will help you with some information about this place on condition you never repeat.
firstly blok m has recently been heavily targetted by the sharia police, now don't be alarmed, that doesn't mean you can't indulge yourself, but it is important to learn the system of signals that is employed there to fool these puritanical nutcases.

YPYou have no worries at all at Le Meridien. They won't even look at you. Some old hags will even be sitting in the bar for you all night long. Take a girl from the club downstairs and head upstairs to your room (get a room on the club tower side is easier ). Is there anywher in Jakarta that isn't girl firendly? I never found one that wasnt.

YPLe Méridien definitely is girl friendly. I haven't been there in two years but 30 Club (Tiga Puluh) in the downstairs at Le Meridien was good to me. I don't know about other hunting grounds. Red Square seems to be a draw for young expats. Google up clubs Jarkarta Indonesia and look for the "Best Nightlife" link.

YPIf price does not matter for you go with keraton, definitely a great location. It's an apartment hotel, so you will not miss the feel of the apartment.
Both location is girl friendly.
Depending on your preference and age, for regular people hook up you can try immigrant (close to keratorn) , Skye (not far from keraton as well) , X2, blowfish and dragonfly. All the last three is closer to le merridien compared to keraton.
4play at alexis also very popular and the plus side you can go up to the spa f you want service.
Golden crown is another good pick up location with a lot of wg and party girl.

Regarding these NON-girl friendly hotels in Indonesia, my experience is that they are usually cheap hotels in seedy areas, just the sort of place where you'd expect to find a short-time hotel. But for some reason, either marketing or ideological, they decide to go for a different market segment. For example, there's a hotel on Jalan Blora, surrounded by dangdut bars, that makes a big deal out of being a syariah hotel. Even on Jaksa, more than half of the hotels won't let Indonesian girls stay with bule guys. If you go three stars and up, it's rarely a problem. While there's huge piles of religious hypocrisy in Indonesia, I think it's more business than anything else. I knew a Haji who ran a hotel in Puncak, it used to be half full of East Javanese ayam, then he decided he thought he could make more money out of family groups, so he sent them all off back to the village.

ISG is blocked on many servers in Jakarta.Yes. You figure out that you have not logged in. After you enter you password and username, you are welcomed. And it navigates to the page where you figure out you have not logged in. I also have the same problem. After you are welcomed and when it leads you to the next page where you figure out that you have not logged in, just, click photo gallery or front page. It leads you there and shows that you ave logged in with your name on the left hand top corner, where it usually is.

ISG is blocked on many servers in Jakarta.The good news is, ISG is not blocked using the Wifi from most hotels. At least not in the ones that I have been staying in: Aryaduta, Ambahara, Lumire, Mulia, Grand Kemang, Manhattan, etc. I can see it only blocked when I try to access it using XL as a mobile provider for my Ipad. So I guess, it is only blocked by some providers, not all.
BTW, something to amaze and entertain the girls with: the luna maya video with ariel. They absolutely love to watch it, they go wild. The poor bloke has been to prison for it, but it is still available on some sites, like youporn. Just type in 'luna maya' in the search field, cheers.

MarkIf I am not wrong, usually clubs are closed during ramadhan. Only clubs which located within a hotel can operate. So Classic Club, Malioboro, Alexis are still open, maybe untill 6 August. On 7 untill 11 August mostly all are closed.

May 2nd, came in o so late. 2:30am show up at the hotel. Earlier at the airport. Things went smooth enough. $25 for arrival visa. It was a 45 minute taxi ride from the airport to the Mustika Hotel. This hotel is only three months old. Or at least the name is. The building has been there much longer than that. Myself and three buddies split the $25 hotel taxi. It was latel. Called it a night. A couple of hours later and I was up. I asked for a wake up call at 8am to have the included breakfast. The call never came. Ooops! Good thing for me I set my alarm. Actually, the breakfast was not half bad. Some authentic items on the plate. Tasty. Later went to the Mengga Dua Mall and picked up a cheapy cell phone. I don't normally get one, but my buddies have been ragging me for the last three countries. $25 gave me a cell phone and what was supposed to be 2 hours of calls. Yeah right! About fifty messages and it was done. About 8:30pm we headed to Eastern Promises. Nothing to report there. Bunch of guys drinking and smoking. I had three beers for $12. We met up with another partner and then we headed to Block M. I heard a lot about this place and all I can say is. What a hugh let down. Went to D's bar for a drink. Not much there. Went to My Bar. Empty. Then went to Top Gun. I met Diana, a 20 year old. One thing nice I can say about Indonesian women. A lot of them have thick legs and a big a* Boohya! My kinda women. The smoking in these places can kill a crack head! I don't smoke, well, unless I'm on fire. It was killing me. So I ask Diana how much and she says. Short time? I said yes. She said up to you. my first hotel was 32 a night, hotel antonio. i wouldn't go there again: a big letdown after a great 40 dollar hotel in phnom penh, (the blue tongue). the rooms were unpleasant looking, no window, construction going on from 9am waking us late sleepers. the wifi in the room was ok. it did have a mirror above the bed. the place was old and worn out, but apparently has a new owner and name. no elevator to the third floor. the staff was ok.
i moved to hotel classic. paid about 50-60 a night. good breakfast buffet, very clean if unimaginative theécor in the rooms. only problem: no wifi in the rooms, only in the café downstairs. advantage: there are two clubs inside the hotel which have 40-80 cute young things ready to go. more on that later.
i also stayed at the hotel fave pasar baru a couple nights, because i was sure they would have good wifi in the rooms, and by then i understood the locations of north jakarta better and realized that the blue taxis could get me there cheaply. very clean, modern, slick theécor, ok breakfast. all these places were girl friendly.
taxis.
the legitimate blue taxis are inexpensive and use the meter. your hotel will usually have some ready for you or will call one for you.
the rest of the taxis are ridiculous.

TAXIS.

I studied the board well before arriving in town, so Mangga Besar and Hotel Travel in particular was the target area.

But it's also difficult to give you a definitive answer to your question because you will be in Jakarta just before the start of the fasting month of Ramadan, and many places close a few days ahead of Ramadan, while other places may remain open but with limited availability. Most lower-end spas will be closed a few days ahead of the first day of fasting (July 9 or 10) , with most of the working girls heading back to their home villages for 5 weeks. Other girls may hang around for another week or so but may be more difficult for a newbie to find.

And you'll quickly discover that for the northern part of town, try Kartika Spa (and its neighbor Berlian, ask for Ina), Hotel Travel, Hotel Classic or the infamous Stadium (be careful with your wallet / passport / money / etc here). Hotel Malioboro and Hotel Alexis are slightly more expensive but are more likely to be open.

A tip for everyone.
