Menteng and Jad advised me several years back to make at least one back up date and never to wait more than half an hour for a girl (that's why you need a back up). Mind you it does sound like your girl was using you as a back up plan too. It's happened to more of us than we'd care to admit. The Plaza Senayan / Grand Indo sounds like a convenient excuse too if you ask me. You should probably have tried to get your Delta girl out in the daytime sometime. It might just have reaped some rewards. I almost fell down laughing when you mentioned chocolates as that's my MO too.

As Fast Eddie said, your best bets for a true sauna are Malioboro (more-or-less in central Jakarta) , Alexis (in the northern part of Jakarta near the ocean, and the most expensive of the 3 places) and Sumo Shiatsu (located in northeastern Jakarta in Kelapa Gading, a good 30 minute ride by taxi). I like all 3 places but Malioboro may be the easiest to deal with, both location and price-wise.

Surprised to hear that Red Square is now a full on pick-up joint. Do all the taxi drivers know these spots? Since I've never been in Jakarta, where would be a good central location to book a hotel where all three spots would be easy to get to? Any cheap hotel will do since I don't plan to be in the hotel room much. By the way, how much is a session at these spots when converted to USD? I'll be in Macau next week so I will be doing some reporting on that thread soon.
Went to Alexis for the first time after 5 years of visits to Jakarta. Time was around 9 PM.
No entrance fee if you want to go to the massage areas. Tried that first. Mama-san showed 7-8 PRC girls but did not partake.
Went up to the lounge section. Have to pay an entrance fee there. Think it was 150K or something. Line-up based on nationalities.
Indonesians. Around 15 of them.
Viet. Around 5-6.
PRC. 4-5.
Thai. 5-6.
Former Soviet Union. Around 5-6.
Indonesians at IDR 1 million while other nationalities at 2mil each. Did not ask about the Ruskies, who should be more expensive.
Couple of smoking hot Thais but did not partake since I visit Thailand often enough. Others were 6-8 on my scale. Seen far better FSU in Dubai. Asked an Indo to sit with me but she was a bit uncomfortable. So asked her to go if she was not upto it.
If you stay for more than 90 mins, you have to pay a surcharge.

Classic more or less is in the middle of Malio and ALexis, so you can stay there and use the spa in the day (almost the same girls at Club). Most Taxi drivers will know that hotels, but better use Blue Bird Taxi or Express. The session is 170 USD at classic. 180 USD at Malio and 220 USD at ALexis. You spend about 90 minutes with the girl (in ALexis 30 minutes at spa and 60 minutes at the room).
Otherwise you can stay at cheap and good hotels in jalan Mangga Besar (entertaintment center is here, but no Viets I think) , you still not far from 3 spots above.

However, my hotel just issued a statement that the government has issued a regulation closing its bar and not permitting live music in its lounge on these dates. The hotel statement does not make clear whether this directive was just issued, or has been around for awhile.
In any event, does anyone know whether the Kota Indah places (like LA Bar, Sari Ayu, etc.) will in fact be open the 14th and 15th? I'm not sure the LA Bar's mama-san's information about this is reliable, particularly if the government has since issued the regulations mandating certain closures.

There may be a few really low end places that offer short-time sex for that price, but I'm talking really, really low-end places that you should not think of going to.

I was told by someone in the area they will be closed both today and tomorrow in observance of the Muslim holiday. He recommended I check out the new Orchardz Hotel spa, also on Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta as the hotel spas would be open, or so he said. However, the spa at Orchardz Hotel was not, and had a sign indicating it would be closed today and tomorrow.
As I passed Marioboro (sp?) on the way back to my hotel it looked like it was open (the metal detector and a security guard were in place) but I didn't stop to confirm this.

Sounds good. But I prefer being under the eyes of a doctor that monitors and tests the prostrate levels to assure it maintains a normal size. All those 3 places are also have hotels in the building (hotel Classic, hotel Alexis and hotel Malioboro). Classic more or less is in the middle of Malio and ALexis, so you can stay there and use the spa in the day (almost the same girls at Club). I was pretty certain Tigah Puluh was a haunt for hooker spirits of years gone by.Believe it or not, Tiga Puluh was the hottest night club in Jakarta back in the early 2000's. It used to be packed and had drunk girls dancing on top of the bar all the way around the circle surrounding the band. One night I was in there and a girl took her dress completely off and was dancing naked for about 30 seconds until security asked her to put her dress back on. You don't see that often in Jakarta. They had the hottest PR girl ever there as well.
Then they decided to "renovate". If I remember correctly, they were closed for almost a year for that renovation. When they opened again, BATS and CJs were quite popular and Tigah Puluh never regained it's prior popularity. The weird thing about that renovation was the place wasn't much different after the renovation except that it was worse than before because those big poles they have around the stage were now bigger and blocked people's view. They also had a span of time where they had a lot of Africans in there dealing drugs and that chased people away as well.
Nowadays I just consider Tiga Puluh to be closed. It's not worth a visit. Shame really.

Believe it or not, Tiga Puluh was the hottest night club in Jakarta back in the early 2000's.Couldn't agree more. I've never really been into BATS, but Tiga Puluh was really good fun. Not only did it have hard core working girls, it also had a huge number of girls just looking for fun, out drinking with their friends, but quite happy to find male company. It's a sad, pale shadow of its former self at this point.
Nothing in here that most mongers do not already know, but would like to share my experience at Stadium disco in Kota.Mate, there is no way to ever know if you dodged a bullet, but it sounds to me like you were being set up. Honestly, Stadium is not the place for mongering. If you want to go with some friends you trust, eat some pills, and dance it is a great place to be. I would never go to Stadium to get laid as I would make bad decisions, and I would never go there without a buddy or five to have my back if things get weird. I spent a lot of time in the rave scene in the UK and have been in Jakarta for almost nine years. Some of my best nights of my life have been in Stadium with my mates. However, some of the scariest, most fucked up nights of my life have been in Stadium too. Jakarta tourists really should be careful there as some bule sitting there by himself talking to mamasan might as well put a sign over his head inviting trouble. Glad you are ok. You made good decisions.

Day 1: Saturday, after a detour by Malioboro to watch the pretty dancers strip fully I met up with a cutie named Lina at Top Gun in Block M, she was not talking to anyone, very shy, first day on the job according to the mamasan who introduced me. She has to work at 10AM in a store, rarely comes to Jakarta. This is from last Friday. Taxi to Mailoboro from Sudirman (near Senayan) took less than 20 mins. Got my wristband and went up to the lounge. It must have been around 4pm. Anyway, the higher-priced locals at the lounge that go for 700k or 1. 2m are a big rip-off, as many of them were then available the next day at places like M-STAR or 4th floor Stadium with the same old price tag of 350k. I've seen it myself. Maybe they might be freelancers, I don't know.

Had the occasion to stop over in Jakarta a couple of nights and ended up staying in the Le Meridien Hotel. After some reading and courtesy of some advice from our bros, I walked from the hotel across the street to the Fortune Spa. This took place in the early evening but I've seen told subsequently that this could be a dangerous place to walk at night.
Walked into Fortune and made the first rookie mistake. The counter lady asked me if it was my first time and I immediately said yes. They led me upstairs to the lounge area where a number of beautiful hostesses walk you through the offerings. You get to pick standard (410k) , deluxe (471k) , suite (550K) room which includes girl and 2 hour massage. I asked whether full service was included and they said no. I picked the deluxe which was actually a nice room, like and upscale hotel room with a japanese style bed and granite shower. I thought thie hostess who was escorted me to the room was going to provide but service (she was beautiful) but it turns out there was another one waiting in daisy duke shorts and tight t shirt. She was beautiful as well. So while I did not get a choice, I think I lucked out anyway.
If I as not a rookie,. I would have told her I wanted both massage and full service and to get things done within the given 2 hours I. E. Massage / full service but as it was I enjoyed the massage as she worked through the knots in my lower back and legs. Then the time was up and she asked if I wanted to extend. 45 mins for another 120k. Plus 500K for the full service. I sorta bargained her down to 350k and we got into action. She was very skilled orally and being so relaxed from the massage already, felt completely satisfied and drained by her.
So learn from my mistakes if you ever make it down there. While I paid a lot more than what would have been considered normal, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and am the wiser for it for next time.

I don't think you made a rookie mistake. 410k is standard for a two-hour massage in a nice room. The charge at Sun City is the same. 350k for full service sounds like an absolute bargain to me. I paid 1 million at Sun City for full service. However, the girl was beautiful and she gave me great service including a wonderful BBBJ. Also, I got free food. I talked to locals there in the restaurant and they told me that was the standard price. Next time, I'm going to Fortune to see if it is as nice as Sun City. It sounds like the FS is much less.

I forgot to add that Indo girls at Sun City are much less, and you don't get to choose. I think the price was around the same as Fortune for the massage and 500k for FS. I'm ashamed to say it's my first time posting in the Indonesia boards. I have a few posts in Thailand, but I've been sort of out of the game for a while. Well, as so often happens, I got pulled back in!
Three weeks ago, had myself a little venture into some of the great places you guys have mentioned here. Started off by booking myself a room at Hotel Classic (600k) , as I knew the night's activities were going to necessitate having a bed nearby. Arrived at Terminal (floor 2) about 8:30pm, and got the usual 2 girls and actually was walking toward the dungeons when a third one caught my eye. There are lots of people here on this forum better qualified to answer than me but I'll tell you of my experiences. So far I've been to Jakarta twice both times during Easter period. Each time was for about 10 days.
I suggest. * Dating sites DIA and Asian Dating. DIA is free but even though you'll write no Filos (no offense, they are nice but you're visiting Jakarta not their country) you'll get a lot of msgs you'll have to filter through which gets annoying. Asian Dating is a better setup but there is a cost of $60 for three months I think. Much better setup as they can only reply to you if you reply to them. The aim with these sites is to get two or three certainties before you get there. A lift from the airport from a local is very handy on arrival. Don't be shy in telling them what you want up front. Sure, some will block you but others will be mores than happy to accommodate your needs. After all, why waste time with a "maybe"?
* Hotels. Not sure how long you are staying but over ten days I've had my stay split between two hotels in different areas. This way, if a date gets too clingy you can drop her half way (I had a stalker once). No matter what anyone else says I like Blok M. After getting frustrated with other places I always find myself there at the end if the night if I didn't get take away from the other places. A great hotel close by is Gran Mahakam. The door lady refused to open the door for me on my last day there. I had too many friends coming in and out with me and I don't think she approved!
FX Harris Surdiman is good. A walk to Red Square which you have a chance of picking up a freebie or if that fails a paid one. I got the "public relations manager" Nena last Easter. At the tail end of 5 nights in Jakarta. On all 5 nights went to Classic "Terminal 2", while visiting Hotel Travel once, maybe a little too early 7:30-8. 00pm and only stayed around 10 minutes. So, as a Jakarta newbie I can say I am impressed with whats on offer for our hobby. I would advise anyone coming here for their first time to make a visit to Hotel Classic Terminal 2. I can confirm the price is 315, 000 IDR per girl plus tip (aim for 100, 000 IDR) I didn't partake in the 2 girl option, maybe next time. The only thing that might catch some newbies out is the pushy mamasans who will grab you by the arm and insist on looking at their girls, even calling girls over with to meet you. Not always a bad thing, because they will ask you what you are after and whether a girl provides good service. Also worth mentioning is the friendly staff at Hotel Classic. The club security, door girls and lift attendants. Didn't experience or feel like I was being ripped off. As the door attendants will let you know about any minimum charges for entry on the night, and reminding you NOT to lose the wristband they give you upon entry.
Other than that, Jakarta is a hectic city. It's true. The traffic is stupid. Choose and research the location of your hotel carefully. I stayed walking distance to Hotel Classic in the North of Jakarta. This means that trips to the South where the tourist / expat areas are can take on average 45 minutes.
Can take the ladies from Classic Hotel for LT?I don't see the need really. I don't think the establishment is aiming for that. While others have said you can, in my view, Hotel Classic is very much an on site affair.

My aim to is find a place which has a bit to see as in Touristy stuff but definitely has available ladies too. If touristy not to good and ladies are plentiful then I'd prefer that combo. I am into a mix of things having luck with dating sites and mall meets as well as P4P. Can anyone suggest a particular place outside of Jakarta (already been to Bandung) which can offer the best of both worlds? I'm not too keen on flying (prefer somewhere close by mini bus) but I think I've resigned to the fact I will need to fly. I'm also ok to stay in pretty seedy places.

But I did have one incident where I think my drink was spiked. I was with a large group of people, and a waria somehow infiltrated the circle. You know what it's like with a large group, everyone assumes that if someone's there in the crowd, they must be someone's friend. It was a mixed crowd, Indonesians and foreigners, men and women, with a few gays in the mix, so it wasn't entirely implausible. I'd drunk a fair bit, but not enough to get totally wasted, by any means, but at some point in the evening I began to feel really lousy, slurring and barely able to stand up. The waria began haunting me, and I didn't have the strength or coordination to tell him / her to fuck off. I found its hand in my pocket, but could only manage to defend myself weakly. I finally went up to a friend and managed to explain, he went up and shouted at it to get the hell away from us all. Which s / he did. I woke up the next morning with a foul hangover and a g / f giving me very sour looks for what she said was my appalling behavior the previous night, and practically no memory of what had happened, although it began to come back later. Pretty sure that the waria put something in my drink. Sure, I was careless, but that happens when you drink too much.

Most non-high-end spa girls in Jakarta want tips because they get only a small portion of the house fee. Remember, they have to eat, too. I rarely found the girls at Kartika pushy but that may be in part because I was a regular customer and the girls knew up front that they'd always receive a decent tip from me if the service that they provided was good.
I've been to Royal a few times, as well as Berlian (which is in-between Royal and Kartika) and still consider Kartika to be the best of the three, but that's just my opinion and my experience. Your experience may have been different, in part because you may have given off an "I'm not tipping" vibe, and in part because you were not known to them. Might also because you're apparently a Chinese Indonesian, while I am a Caucasian American? I've been to Kota places where they are really focussed on the local and / or overseas Chinese and some girls won't go with a bule, or only reluctantly. Haha. Still, never a good idea to push when you sense reluctance, always better to move on and find a place where you are made to feel welcome at the offset, things usually go better that way.

I think you can spend 10 days just in Jarkata not much mongering in Bandung and Bali is too damn expensive now, only other city in Indo is Surabuya but you got everything you need at Jarkata no need to go anywhere else.

at the very least you might prevent other mongers from being disappointed the way you were, as the mamasan would have made sure the girl receives extra training or else gets fired (and let's face it, not every girl is cut out for that line of work). if you had called on the phone, the mamasan would have tried to fix the situation, she may have asked you to give the phone to the girl so she could talk to her, or else the mamasan might come up to the room to speak to the girl in person, or maybe even switch girls.

I bought a pack yesterday for Rp 120, 000 at Pasar Pramuka, which is a market that sells pharmaceuticals near Senen. On the other hand, if you buy it at the pharmacist's, it costs around Rp 100, 000 per tab. I don't know if the cheaper stuff is really manufactured by Pfizer, despite the convincing looking packages, but it does contain Sildenafil. Whether or not in the stated doses is arguable.

Your biggest problem is that your hotel, the Mercure Hotel in Kota, is pretty far from most of the above places. The Mercure is great if you want to visit Stadium, Kartika, Berlian, Hotel Travel, etc, or the higher-end place Malioboro and Hotel Alexis. However all of these places focus on short-term sessions, not long term overnight.
RTFF is still a valid answer as I'm sure I've forgotten to mention some other good options.

I prefer longtime (overnight). Where are good places for find girls for LT?To Liggi.
There are many late night pick up place near Mecury it is a nice hotel, you can walk to Stadium disco or Millie at Loposari plaza and Clown disco 10 min taxi for freelancer pick up for all nighter, if disco is not for you then hotel travel and many massage place near by.

I pride myself on scoring in most circumstances and with pretty much any type of girl from fresh from the kampung jilbaber to hardened club pro, with all stations in between, I've picked up at work, at the gym, on the Busway, at the movies, in the internet cafe and in other circumstances, but they have all happened by chance in circumstances where I had not set out with the intention of scoring. I have to admit on the few occasions when I have gone to a mall with the direct intention of picking up I have without exception drawn a complete blank.
I tend to feel a bit of a wally hanging round malls with the intention of scoring, that may be part of the reason for my lack of success. I just think it makes one look a bit creepy, wandering up and down the escalators, smiling at every passing female, sitting having a coffee while pretending to have an intense sms text conversation on your handphone as you try to make eye contact with the girl two tables over, nursing her cappuccino for an hour and like you pretending to be engaged on urgent business on her phone (actually playing minecraft no doubt). I think what really puts me off is looking up at the glass balconies and seeing half a dozen blokes all non-chalantly hanging over pretending they aren't there trying to score too, like I say it's all a bit desperate and I'd just as soon go to a massage parlor.
But each to their own, I admire those who have got it down to a fine art, I especially admire the prolific poster on the photo thread who has an extremely impressive track record at Blok M Plaza, I take my hat off to him especially as I have been hanging out at Blok M Plaza for the past ten years and for the life of me have never seen the sort of dolly birds that he seems to pick up there ten minutes after arriving. Like I say, it's a skill, you either have it or you don't, when it comes to Blok M Plaza I clearly don't.

I went a few times and found it hit and miss, ranging from superb to absolutely lousy. The superb time was a chubby (not usually my type but you don't get to choose) , friendly girl who couldn't massage to save her life but just wanted to get it on straight away and went at it like a trooper, if I recall correctly she didn't even bother with the condom so keen was she to have fun, we had a great laugh and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her. The lousy occasion was when I opted for some fancy-schmancy package which I really couldn't make head nor tail of but unwisely assumed would be extra special because of the eye-watering price but which actually turned out to be completely hopeless with some novice girl with an attitude problem who hadn't a clue what it was she was supposed to be doing and was very insistent she wouldn't do what I wanted her to do (nothing kinky just the usual). Seemingly so. The majority of the clientele in my assessment at Classic were Asian (be it local Indonesians or Koreans, Chinese etc). Only spotted one or two bule and even an Indian (who technically are Asian too, right?)
Is this because they prefer this type of venue? Or because the looks of the girls? Or both?There are mostly Singaporean, that is because of the venue and great price perhaps.

I find orchadz (jalan industry and pangeran jayakarta) a good quality price option. Never had bad service and they ask what kind of girl you like. 680k idr for the most extensive package in the VIP room which takes 1. 5 hours and well explained beforehand what is provided. Just once I asked to change the girl which came to the room. A gorgeous plastic surgery indo MILF which isn't normally provided and what I hadn't expected. I was in a bad mood to start and also picked a busy night without reservation. Afterwards thinking I shouldv went for it as she stood out between the others but ye. Was no problem to get another one so I was treated quite good. Rooms have mirrors on walls and ceiling and no rushing. A bit strange I see so little reports. Almost no english so its best if you speak some bahasa at reception. Girls mostly speak javanese. If the hotels wouldn't be so badly located outside the center and jakartas macet would disappear magically I would consider staying in them.
If anyone else has some experiences there. They have some interesting packages to choose from.I've stayed there earlier this year. I chose Orchardz Indusrtri because I was there attending the Java Jazz festival. I also knew from blogs that it had a decent spa. Did not disappoint. The spa was a bit crowded though. Next year I'll probably stay at Swiss Belhotel, also close by. Wish to explore the nightlife in Kota. Stadium, Mille's, Travel Hotel etc. Too short a visit last time and only had one visit to Classic.

Besides his flight's at 8:30pm on Sunday, so that should be plenty of time for fun (but then again, it's never enough;)).

HHMYeah pretty straightforward but don't expect it all the time, you might strike lucky one in five times on other occasions you might get quite a horrified response with the lady jumping out in indignation so don't in any way believe it's a sure thing.

Where do you go at this point? Well as I mentioned that's a problem, there actually aren't that many convenient lay-overs, especially during rush hour. My solution? There and then. I have a large high-sided MPV-style car with tinted windows and automatic transmission. As your car is literally crawling along Jalan Sudirman at 4mph it's a piece of cake to slide the seat back a bit, undo the trousers and steer, who's going to notice a damn thing in the murky Jakarta twilight? Hopefully by the time you've got to the end of the road, you'll have got to the end of the road.
To sum up, it's by no means a done deal, so I wouldn't recommend joining the hellish Jakarta traffic in the vague hope of getting a bit, that would be three hours of your life wasted that you won't get back again. If you're going that way anyway and want to relieve the boredom it might be an option. You're not going to get a stunner, not by any means and even then you might not get want you want. Payment, I very much doubt you'll get away with 100, remember the jockeys are already charging 30-40 thou for the ride anyway so don't think they'll nego plus-plus on the cheap, oh and of course they have zero English so you'll need a decent bit of BI, and even "bahasa gaul" the Jakarta street slang.
All in all it's just an option, not a great one and not something worth going out of the way to get but it has whiled away a few hours in the macet for me in the past.

Because there are some many clubs. The Jakarta 100 bars website can be quite helpful. Also it has been discussed often in this forum, RTFF will help with a lot of info. It is not similar at all, I don't think you'll find bars like Falatehan. Nightclubs, one-stop entertainment, executive spas, massage parlours, etc. There are a lot of working girls operating either as freelancer or under contract. For freelancers, perhaps try some on these nightclubs: Golden Crown in Glodok Plaza, Millenium in Gajah Madah, Mille's in Lokasari? Some others may have helpful tips. It's definitely not Falatehan. You'd have to go back several dozen pages to find the information you need.
Respected Senior Member Bulai69 has written about receiving massages right inside Terminal Two of the Airport on a couple of occasions, in both the terminal hotel and in one of the MPs located there. There were also one or two MPs located within a five-minute taxi ride, plus you could probably pick up a freelancer at the Sheraton Hotel just outside the main gate (that's also a good hotel for both sleep and food).
Hopefully some other posters can give you more information than this.

By way of comparison, when I lived full-time in Indonesia 5 years ago, I had a full-time live-in professional housekeeper / cook who I paid the equivalent of $125, which placed her in the top 10-15% of wage earners in the country. There was no sex involved as she was fifty and fat (but very pleasant and and a hard worker) , but my point is that you could probably find a live-in housekeeper+sex maid for a lot less than $1, 100.
I think that your Shanghai technique would work well in Jakarta, I. E. Advertise online. You might also open a profile on one of the dating sites, and be politely explicit about what you're looking forward, and you'd probably get some intriguing applicants.
One possible danger might be that these girls might cheat on you, plus it might be difficult to monger on the side, but I'll let you figure that out.

I would even out source the maid service if you can. Find an agency that has employees that they will send in daily to do the cleaning. I can tell you by experience that it is very rare to find a good honest maid or servant. In Bali we have had many and they all steal and or only work for a few weeks and then never show up again. The nicer you treat them, the lazier they become.
I assume there are many good servants out there but finding one is difficult. Out source and let the management handle any problems that arise. Good luck.

She spent as much time managing them as I did managing my company! Finding honest, reliable maids is not easy.
We ended up moving out of our mansion house to a smaller service apt and let all the help go. Used out source to visit 3 times a week to do laundry, ironing, other small chores.

Just back frm my trip to jakarta. Finally I am almost able to put everything together about the nightlife in Jakarta.
Quite incredible all the different styles for getting pussy in Jakarta. Seems for each ethnic group there is something available. The girls, the places but also the atmosphere changes. But I really liked iit. No pro's inside. To be honest I won't think this place was situated in a RLD at all. The waitresses were nice, if a bit pushy. But definitely for take away looks wise. To Bad. 2) Along the side of sportsmans bar are a bunch of other bars. When I was there. These were all quite empty and sad. The only happening place is I think D's place. A want to be stripbar. Seems like a cross between a NYC stripjoint and a Soi cowboy joint. Somehow I forgot if the girls went topless. I don't think so. (titty overload. How can I forget). There was plent of freelancers. Not that great qualitywise. And the dancers were all bookable. It was suggested that they join you to VIP room. I was quaoted some prices that was simply crazy high. But to be honest the girls here are a bit lower level than the more upscale bars. But I still enjoyed the atmosphere and the life music alot.
Sadly during the two nights here. Haven't talked prices with any of the girls. So hopefully more experienced people can explain what the damage would be. For it's quite sure I will be back. IF only to enjoy the life music.
Also an observation from me. These girls have a very bad reputation. And like my local friends use to say. All the chicks are basically interchangeble. They are correct.

This place was packed. A favourite for the University students and well to do locals. Really happening. No real dance floor, but people just standing around drinking and dancing a bit. Plenty of drunk chicks. Quite awesome again for a Wednesday night. No bules and not many Chinese. X2 the famous nightclub is dead during weekdays. If you have succes with a crowd like this. Go for it.
I haven't been to Kemang alot. Something for next year. Eastern promises was a cool dutch oriented sportsbar. Some chickens here. A bit of a cross between sportsman and topgun. But not so ranchy or seedy.
At Grand wijaya right next to Darmawangsa Square there are located quite a few famous spa and massage places. Like Fortuner and Delta Spa. My plan to go there in early afternoon was blocked. on blok m i totally concur with juggernutt's description of blok m bars, he renders the atmosphere well. these are grungy, rock'and roll joints. its a dingy street with low housing (not a mall or something as i expected). in d's place there are mostly expats. the girls are old, not attractive. i would only potentially disagree on the vip room. i thought it was kind of cool. a small, dark rough room with its own little bar. 10-15 people and great if you want to watch or be watched. some are drunk, you can see they are having fun, crossing boundaries. i have little experience of this kind of thing, but would have loved to try. only problem is i did not find the girls attractive enough. i do wonder whether one could find a girl across the street and bring her there.
