The member has already said that he is an Indian. How exactly does Smoothy know what type of girl all Indians and Arabs like? Does the bar, De Leila, refuse to cater for bules?Smoothy has already answered but I'd also like to add one more thing. The girls know which bars tend to cater to which clientele, so most of the girls also go to the places that have their personal preference too. I did the full tour with JAD many years ago and there was also Tiga Kuda (Three Horses. You could change to the Hotel Melawai. There are more girls there.

- Immigrant. High class bar in Plaza Indo, if your reasonably attractive and dress well, then you'll score there, but its a high class bar not a F / L bar, starts rocking post midnight.
- Ditto Skye bar (top of BCA building at Grand Indo) and Cloud (top of the Plaza building at Plaza Indo). These are busier earlier rather than later, compared to immigrant, both have great views of the city from 50+ floors, great for just a few drinks if your looking to kill a few hours or meet someone.
- Social House, very close to you at Kempinski, its a resto / bar Open breakfast to around midnight, but either line up a girl on DIA / Tagged / Twitter to meet you there, or try your luck infiltrating a group of girls having pre / post dinner drinks. Good luck, modern crowd there, and its a great location looking at the roundabout. But definitely not F / L bar.
- There is a bar in the pullman, not sure if any F / L there.
Leasurley stroll away or a short taxi.
- Sarinah mall. Afterhours bar, pool hall. If your comfortable with cheap drinks, hipster young indos, you will definitely score here, but you have to be young at heart to enjoy the atmosphere.
- Jaya pub closed recently, but someone told me on the weekend it had re-opened around the corner, not sure about that, but it was always good for a fun night of drinking. Always meet some F / L there. Maybe anyone else can confirm if its reopened and its location?
Another option, depending how long you are staying, is goto CJ's, spend a night there, talk to many girls and get their contact details, then over the next few days invite them to your place. Both CJ's and BATS is rocking over Ramadan, but they close at 1. 30 am not 3 am.
P.S. IMHO BATS has seriously gone down hill. Forever they have had an expat band, yet last Monday night they had an indo band, and playing 'when the saints go marching in' - furk me it was an embarrassment, now I listen to alot of Indo cover bands, and some are really great, particularly at the little venues like 'beer garden'. But these guys were shocking, when a 5 star bar who charges 120 k for a beer can't afford a western band, its lost the plot. My 2 cents worth.

You sound Malaysian, but I could be wrong. There's no issue regardless whatever security you see there about bringing girls back with you. It wouldn't bother them if you brought two back with you. It's somewhat the Muslim equivalent of Christmas, although that's a simplistic explanation, it's actually more than that.
That's why most of the MPs and spas are closed now, not just for moral reasons, but so the girls can travel back to their villages for Lebaran. Estimates are that over 2 million Jakarta residents will travel back to their villages for 7-10 days, starting today / tomorrow.
A positive side effect of this is that there will be very little traffic on the roads for a few days, and the air quality will dramatically and noticeably improve.
A negative side effect of this is that the number of incidents of robberies, house break-ins, pick-pocketing, purse snatching and the like shoots up dramatically during the last two weeks of the fasting month of Ramadan. And girls will be more aggressive for tips and potentially may try to steal cash from your wallet or hotel room. So be careful!

You would have to walk maybe ten minutes to get the bus, and perhaps three to five minutes from the bus to Kartika. Busfare today is about thirty cents US. You probably could also get to Classic using the transjakarta bus but it would require a transfer. Taxis to these places would run in the range of $2 USA.
(2) If you don't want any infections, use a condom. If you want to be particularly cautious, you could use one during the blow job phase as well. If by infections you mean to also include sore throats, etc. , then you should avoid kissing and DATY.
(3) Off season has nothing to do with pricing at these places. But it is impossible to predict inflation and currency fluctuations between now and March. However, think around $35 to $60 US per session for what you are looking for (towards the lower end for Kartika, and the higher end for a threesome at Classic), including a tip. Keep in mind the service at Classic tends to be not so great, and threesomes there can (from what I have read, not from experience) be a particular disappointment in this regard.
(4) Yogyakarta is a better tourist destination than monger destination. For relatively cheap sex, there are some elaborate alleyways near the train station. - For a threesome, IMHO it's always best to pick one girl and then let her pick the second girl. If you choose both girls on your own, there's a risk that the two girls won't get along (they may even hate each other) and the service will suffer accordingly. Some taxi drivers might take you to college dorms to meet girls during early / mid-evening hours. There's some info about Yogya here on ISG in the Other Areas section although most of it is several years old.

Will definitely post an FR when back home.One obvious benefit to Fortune Spa is that it is directly across the street from Le Meridien, saving you an hour or more (round trip) in a taxi to go almost anywhere else.
I found Fortune to be very hit-or-miss, some of the girls were great, others a waste of time. One tip: when you first go in, you are asked what kind of room you want. My experience is that you are better off paying for the nicest room, and you are more likely to get FS if you do so. Don't be afraid to ask the counter person about the services that you are looking for with a girl, they will not be offended and will guide you accordingly, so don't be shy.

IMHO, most business hotels don't bother guests if a room is registered as a single if the second party does not try to get a free breakfast or charge to the room. Just pay for dining separately. If you are on a club floor, just take your guest elsewhere for happy hour.
Out of curiosity, I took a look at the SPG site. Standard rooms are the same price for 1 or 2 but club rooms are different.
YMMV. I actually had guests meet on club floor lounges / restaurants and not get charged extra.
I also always get 2-3 key cards.

I always carry that copy with me and show it to them every time. However, the police will say "What's this? No, no no no no. We need your real passport. "
My bet is that even if you have your actual passport, they will come up with some excuse that you have done something wrong and they can "help you" if you help them with some money. Sometimes they have let me go, but most of the time they don't. I don't have all night to sit there and debate with them, so I just pay and go on my way.

I always carry that copy with me and show it to them every time. However, the police will say "What's this? No, no no no no. We need your real passport. "
My bet is that even if you have your actual passport, they will come up with some excuse that you have done something wrong and they can "help you" if you help them with some money. Sometimes they have let me go, but most of the time they don't. I don't have all night to sit there and debate with them, so I just pay and go on my way.Maybe I was lucky. So yesterday finally made the venture. Came back to room, changeed, took a BB went straight to maribaya. Only 10 gals, place is a little too dingy. Picked a girl, some name E. Was eally in a hurry. Classic hotel level 2 brothel was packed to the rafters on Wednesday night. Someone needs to tell the band that patrons don't come here for the music. It makes all conversation with mama sans and waitresses next to impossible. I asked a waitress for a menu and she came back with a mango juice. The Novotel is a good location if you want to buy rip-off handbags and watches. Maybe a 10-20 min taxi ride to hayum waruk, depending on the traffic. In relative terms it aint that far.
Note. They are close to the red-light areas of jakarta and the AMP's, but far from the hotel bars liek CJ's. BATS, etc and BlokM. So do some RTFF and decide what your looking for out of your mongering experience.

Bands add nothing to a night out, we've been programmed to believe they do, but actually they utterly detract from the entire point of going to the bar in the first place which is to meet and talk to other people be they male friends, dolly-birds or the bar maids.
Sorry if this sounds like a rant but I recently met a colleague for a drink the other night in a city-centre pub, great place, nice decor, good food, pretty waitresses, good service, they get everything right and the after-work crowd gathered there for drinks and a chat proved it, then at 9 pm two geezers set up the AMPs and start strangling Rolling Stones numbers (Jeez what is it with the Rolling freakin' Stones?) within 30 minutes the place was empty. We gave up and left at 10 pm having got fed up trying to hear each other over the din. Having to cup your ears as you try to listen to your mate's anecdotes does not add to the pleasure of an evening, a sore throat from shouting isn't what we look for in an evening. And to think the management paid these guys to drive away their business.
Enough with the bands in bars already, unless it's Cherry-belle and they promise to get their tits out after the interval they ain't worth a damn thing.

Why would you want a hotel near a mall. The malls here are cold, pretentious, overpriced places.
Anyway if you want GI. Then there is a hotel behind it in that price range- it is amaris in thamrin city. Small plastic rooms start at around 400 k, or there are a few new ones popped up near the UOB building these are All seasons, Neo etc Or alot of hotels on Wahid Haysim, which is a little stroll to GI and PI, and close to many cheap food and drink options.
Clubbing in Kota is mostly hardcore. Often drug fueled, some safe some not. Lots of fun, if you like that scene. Be prepared for the unique Kota music style. Do some goggling on it, also some tribal trance in some places (used to be stadium, not sure these days), some like some don't. Many more hookers than Kemang area, almost all clubs have hookers. Eg. Look up mille's on 100 bars.
Kemang is younger crowd, less drugs, some expats, lots of fun, much safer IMHO eg. Look up triple 9 on 100 bars.
For both look at 100. Bars website and check the area 'kemang' for south Jakarta and 'hayum waruk', 'mangga besar / lokasari' for kota / north Jakarta.

Once, dating a particularly paranoid but gorgeous girl. Ended up getting a second room in same hotel so that Miss Paranoid couldn't find a single hair from the others I was seeing, that didn't belong to her, and she totally checked the pillow / sheets / bathroom every time. Than goodness for those SPG points.

Like many of us travellers weve stayed in 1 to 5 star properties many many times. The bill always just shows room, tax, service charge. Never a mention of one or two people. It really doesn't matter to hotel billing whether its one or two. If there was ever a mistake a smile and " could you please indicate one person" would suffice.
Theres only a walk of shame if you allow there to be. If you hold your head up act confident and smile, who cares what a bunch of strangers think about your playmate.I always say that I have breakfast meetings (sometimes it's work and sometimes it's not;), but they're still meetings:D). It's only the cost of breakfast that distinguishes the cost between single and double occupancy so it's easy to justify as half the time the breakfast meetings are "unofficial" but still necessary for work.
I've never worried about the walk of shame. Don't remember being ashamed having someone attractive next to me. I have been spotted by someone I know from KL while in the Jakarta Le Meridien, but fortunately he knew the meaning of discretion. Then again, he's just as promiscuous so I bet he was up to no good himself. The only time I had to be more subtle was when we brought some other staff with us to Jakarta. The MD and myself had a couple of interesting companions and we arranged to have them leave in the morning without being accompanied by us through security. It was interesting to watch some of the staff members having a good look at them (cuci mata as we say in Malaysia:)) and it was clear what they would have like to have done to the girls, given the opportunity.

Why would you want a hotel near a mall. The malls here are cold, pretentious, overpriced places.
Nice reply HHM except I also like to be near a mall, as it's easy to set up a meeting with a girl in some cafe or another. Meeting over coffee gives you an easy exit if she's not what you expected. You can also have dinner at a simple resto nearby your hotel and it's convenient to get back to your room. That's worked for me with Manhattan and the nearby malls, Akmani and Sarinah Thamrin, Aryaduta Suites Semanggi and Plaza Semanggi, Grand Kemang and the cafes/restos nearby.

Yup I know that situation too bro, but I just made sure the room was cleaned again. I normally tip the houskeeping staff whenever I see them and let them know which room I'm in. So It's normally quite easy to get them to give your room a once over, and replace towels too, before you have to entertain someone else. Word gets around the staff and they will be only too happy to oblige when they know you'll be leaving them a decent tip - and it works out a lot more economically than getting another room!:)

There are more on Jl. Wahid Hasyim (Ibis, Cemara etc.) Probably 20 min walk in your price range. You have to be an ultimate cheap charlie if you cannot afford the 1 USD taxi fare from here to Grand Indonesia. As for partying I tend to prefer the lower to middle class venues that play top40, hiphop, and rnb. I find the high end bars and clubs harder to pull from. Pretty sure if that were to happen, I told the girl prior to leaving MBC I do not pay, so taxi money should have been all she expected. But like I said, I do not even recall the incident you are referring to so please do us a favor and provide a link. I went to Grand Wijaya Center today for a massage. I used to go there for a massage frequently in the past, but I hadn't been there in about a year. First and foremost I want to thank all the great members and contributors of this forum. I don't think I would ever have gone to Jakarta if not for you guys. Thanks!
This was my first time in Jakarta. I had researched the city for a long time and I knew beforehand that it was going to be a good trip. I had previously been to Batam, Indonesia and also had a fling with an Indonesian girl for a few days in 2012 in Macau, so knew that Indonesian girls were both very sexy and passionate. As I predicted, I was not even close to visiting all of these joints which means I had a really good time at the places I did go to. Furthermore, I know there are many, many more very excellent places in Jakarta that did not make my shortened list. All this is just one reason why I am already planning to go back to Jakarta in 2015. But the main reason why I want to go back is because I had a great time and met some outstanding girls here.
OK, so I flew Philippine Airlines out of MNL Ninoy Aquino Airport Terminal 2 to Jakarta at 9 am. The flight lasted nearly 4 hours. I had a reservation at the JW Marriott Jakarta. I was using my Marriott reward points for my entire stay here so my 5* room was essentially free. I had received an email from the JW Marriott Jakarta a few days prior to my arrival asking me about my exact arrival time and flight number. When I arrived at the Jakarta International Airport at noon local time, I went through immigration and then customs very quickly. It all took less than 15 minutes. Outside of the airport customs area I saw a Marriott representative holding up a sign with my name on it. He greeted me and escorted me to the taxi pickup area. He asked if I wanted a hotel limo or a metered taxi. I told him I wanted metered taxi. There was a Silver Bird already waiting for me. The Marriott rep took down the taxi's registration number and made sure my suitcase was loaded in the trunk. It was a Sunday afternoon so the dreaded Jakarta traffic was not a problem. It took approximately 50 minutes to drive to my hotel. The ride cost 250,000 are or around $22.
When I arrived at the JW, I noticed that the hotel had a great deal of security. A car or taxi could not drive up to the building. There was a security check point just as you enter the drive way and passengers had to get out of their cars here. This is because in 2003 the JW Marriott lobby had been car bombed and 12 people died and 150 people were injured. And then again in 2009 another bomb was detonated in a restaurant area of the JW Marriott resulting in 9 fatalities. Fucking Islamic Terrorist Scumbags! Anyway, after getting out of a car at the driveway checkpoint, anyone wishing to enter the hotel has to next go through a metal detector and personal pat down. No matter how many times I entered or left the hotel, and they all knew me in a couple of days, security always checked my personal belongings and gave me the pat down. I took it all in stride and good spirits and I was very polite to these people. They always smiled and apologized for the inconvenience security was causing me. But I guess it is better to be inconvenienced for 60 seconds than be dead or wounded.
After I passed through security, a pretty hotel representative met me in the patio area and escorted me into the lobby which was 60 or 75 yards away. She knew who I was and was expecting me. There was no check-in. She took me straight up to my deluxe room which was on a high floor with a good view. My suitcase was soon delivered by the bell man.

My take on the JW Marriott Jakarta:
This is a true 5* hotel. My room was spacious and elegantly appointed. The service I received at this hotel was white glove / 5 star. The staff was always super friendly and could not do enough for me. The hotel has 4 restaurants including a large 24 hour restaurant that serves great breakfasts and lunch buffets. There is also a Chinese restaurant and a Japanese restaurant, but I only tried the 24 hour restaurant. So in all these respects, the hotel was great and I enjoyed my very comfortable stay here.
But, I will not stay at this hotel the next time I visit Jakarta. The reason being location, location, location. The JW is located at the southern end of the Golden Triangle. This is an upscale neighborhood. Across the street is the Ritz-Carlton which is another 5* hotel. The proximate neighborhood is full of high rise high end condos, large city mansions, and a few shopping malls. The problem is that it is too damn far from most of the action. As I discovered later, it took an hour in heavy stop and go traffic to drive to the Alexas Hotel at prime time 7 pm. It took 40 minutes to drive to Malioboro at the same time. Even in daytime, it was difficult to go anywhere of cultural interest. For example, it took at least 35 minutes to drive to the National Museum at 11 am. As a result, I kind of felt trapped in this upscale enclave and after a couple of days, I gave up trying to explore Jakarta's cultural places or great restaurants. I found out the hard way that Jakarta traffic really is a big problem. Next time I visit this town, I will stay no further south than Selamat Datang Monument.
Traffic does let up after 10 pm. I had no problem taking taxis from Hotel Alexas back to the JW or to Bats at the Shangri-La at around 11:30 pm. So if I had wanted to sleep all day and start out at 10 pm or so to head to Alexas or Malioboro and then stay up most of the night hitting the bars and clubs, Jakarta traffic would not have been a problem. Note on this map that Hotel Alexas is at the top and the JW and Ritz Carlton are at the very bottom.

Day 4, Sunday March 2, 2014 Jakarta Day 1 (part 1 - Alexis Hotel):
I was pretty hungry after I arrived at my hotel. I had not eaten anything yet that day so I decided to check out the Sunday brunch at JW hotel restaurant. They had a carving station with roast beef and lamb, a sushi and seafood station, an Asian station with Chinese dim sum and Indonesian fare, an Indian station, and a desert table. I bulked up until I could eat no more. That's the trouble with these buffet meals. I eat too much, but if that's all I have for the rest of the day then it is not too bad an arrangement.
After lunch I walked to the nearest mall which was 5 minutes away and exchanged Dollars for Indonesia Rupiah (roughly 1,150,000 to $100) and bought some soft drinks and Listerine tea flavored mouth wash. Then I relaxed for a while by the pool.
You can imagine how excited I was about my first foray into Jakarta's nightlife scene. I had heard so much about the bordellos and previously I had some real good times with Indonesian girls in Batam and Macau. Now I was at ground zero and I could barely wait. At 7 pm I headed out and jumped into a taxi. Tip: inform the hotel concierge where you want to go and let him tell the taxi driver your desired destination. It was a modern looking mid rise building stuck in the middle of an industrial no man's land that was separated from the rest of Jakarta (restaurants, shopping malls, hotels and apartments) by railroad tracks and vacant lots. There was a parking lot filled with BMW's and other luxury cars and a doorman opened my taxi door and welcomed me to the Alexis so I knew I had finally come to the right place.
First let me tell you guys a little about the Hotel Alexis. The location is #1 Jin Martadinata, Ancol, Jakarta. It is a multi-faceted Bordello. On the 1st floor there is G club. I did not go into the club so I have limited information. On the 5th floor there are Chinese girls and private rooms. And on the 7th floor there is a spa and lounge with a lot of Thai, Indonesian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Russian girls.

The second area which is in the middle of the 7th floor is the locker and shower room. This room is very much like a Macau Sauna, but here at Alexis, customers have the option of taking a shower, changing their clothes, stowing their valuables into lockers, and putting on bath robes and short trunks or they can stay in their street clothes. In a Macau Sauna customers must change out of their street clothes.
The third area on the 7th floor is the spa or hot pool area. There are several pools here with different water temperatures varying from warm to super hot. These pools here are like Jacuzzis only much larger.
So after I said goodbye to the mamasan and her Chinese girls on the 5th floor, I took the elevator up to the 7th floor. I was greeted by an attractive 30 something Indonesian hostess who led me into the lounge area. She spoke English pretty well. As we walked into the lounge she pointed out the different nationalities to me and I took to a seat in the middle of it all. I was very impressed with the quality I saw here. I think there were more pretty girls here than at a high end BKK Soapy like La Belle or Utopia, but not as many really attractive girls as I usually find in a top Macau Sauna like Rio. Day 5, Monday March 3, 2014 Jakarta Day 2:
Around 11 am, I went shopping for an Indonesian batik shirt. I went to Batik Danar Hadi. A high class Batik shop at the recommendation of the hotel concierge. The shop was about a 20 minute taxi ride. I bought a couple of amazing silk Batik Shirts. They were very expensive, but what the hell, they are my only souvenir of Jakarta. HHM.Totally understand the question. Last night after about 6 weeks of trying I finally get this tall Chinese lady, 1. 72 m, and 55 kg, wonderful body and pretty face, into the bedroom. Ok, so Badoo and WeChat seem to find girls who are close to your area. Although that's real hit and miss.
WeChat you shake your phone, which connects you with others shaking as well (hopefully not someone with parkinsons). Which is code for "looking for a fuck" in my experience.
I've had a quick search on both, and on both you can send quick messages to a person.
Mostly, I get messages sent to me, I can't see anywhere that WeChat is pay.
Badoo, like WeChat, I've been getting lots of 'Hi' messages. So from that you can reply, and I've sent a few 'Hi's' direct to those who have been to my profile as well. Which you can easily start a conversation from and get number. But like I've mentioned Badoo seems to provide suggestions based on your own age, some scary Ibu's in there! Attached is a screen shot of girls near me whom I can send a message to, ok its a mixed bag, but that's one of 5 or 6 scroll screens like it.
Badoo does have section called 'liked you' and 'encounters' where you have to pay to play. That's where someone specially sends you a heart. But you know what as a bule you don't need this. Just wait for the messages to come in.

I like to say something romantic and corny like, "I have been with many girls, but I haven't found the right girl yet. " That works pretty well. Never put a number on it because it will never be right.

HHM.You can try explaining that you were dating (doing?) many girls before you got married, but since your recent divorce you haven't seen many ladies. You can wipe the slate for many years and explain (if you want to) just the last six months or whatever.
Or you can have one girlfriend that you see every time you are in (fill in the country) but you're not sure it's going to work out and you're looking for a way to break up. Blah, blah.
Much depends on whether you give two toots about ever seeing the particular girl again. TTG.
