I'll be doing my "remote work" in Jakarta soon. Is this area accessible to office buildings? Does it have much to offer, other than girls, for those living for 2 months. Thanks.I'm not sure what to make of that question. Is it near office buildings? I guess that depends on which office building you want to be near. There are lots of tall office buildings and big shopping malls near, but I think that's going to be the case regardless of where you stay in Jakarta.
Is it my favorite area to hang out? No. Although it has offices and malls in the area, it's not a particularly nice area of town. My favorite areas for hanging out are the more upscale parts of Jakarta, but those areas are nowhere near the sex spots in town. It depends what you want from your 2 months in town, easy access to the brothels or a nice environment. They are mutually exclusive in Jakarta. The areas with the brothels are all pretty much dirty and crappy relative to the areas where you will not find brothels. However, for fairly cheap sex with hot young girls on a daily basis, it's a hard area to beat Kelapa Gading. The other area to hang out for sex would be near Hotel Classic. That is more centrally located. Traffic is a major concern in Jakarta as it takes a long time to get anywhere during the day. If you plan to hang out almost exclusively at Kelapa Gading, then I would for sure stay near there. If you plan to get around to other parts of town often, KG is a bit far away so I would stay elsewhere.

Thanks.Which office buildings? If you're working remotely (not sure why that's in quotes), get a good internet wherever you stay. Due to traffic, any sort of commute is a huge hassle in Jakarta, unless you're right next to where you need to go, as in, walking distance, under 500 m -- sidewalks tend to be atrocious too, and it's messy when it rains.
As for much to offer, this is a girl forum. Jakarta is not high up the list of the world's most livable city, but it's huge, and has all that big cities do (even if it's a bit hard to access) -- a vibrant music scene, some decent food and so on -- all depends on what you're interested in.
Why Jakarta and not Bali, though? The only thing I'd recommend Jakarta for over Bali is great accessibility of regular girls (non-pros). Plenty of pros too (and cheap), but unlike Pattaya, for instance, the scene isn't quite as relaxed or enjoyable for browsing.

Why would anyone even bother asking you for advice over PM with such a thin public posting history?
Is this open in the afternoon for any type of action or is in only in the evenings?
Any info on this place would be great as I've never been before and looking at trying a few different places the week after next when I'm in town.

I been there once last year around 3 pm still early not many girl available price is same level as Hotel travel and Classic, I didn't pick a girl quality is not great is 20 min taxi east of Manga Besar area w traffic, there are many place like this all over Jakarta don't think I will go back I have friend that got service there told me is nothing special about the service just another cheap brothel.

So here's an odd one. Recently a mamasan that I've come to know suggested I meet a couple of new girls to see if I was interested. The first was of no interest: chubby, short, bad face. Will be in Jakarta for work from July 11th to 16th (first visit).
Have only mongered in KL before, so I'm very excited for this one.
Will be staying at Yello Hotel Harmoni (fantastic reviews on Agoda.com).
Planning to hit as many places I can, to sniff out places that are the "best fit" for me.
I'm relatively young, and have little experience with lady drinks, so will try to focus on spas. Some places I'm definitely dropping by:
Classic Terminal.
- just very curious about this place!
Emporium Spa.
- intrigued after reading a fantastic FR on this thread.
- keen to try out the VIP girls there.
- as place is run by the Alexis group, I wonder how the quality compares between the two places.
Illegals Spa.
- heard the club here is dead, but the spa facilities seem nice.
- plus, the cost of a normal girl, about 800 k seems reasonable compared to other more extravagant spas.

- just across my hotel.

Every time I got to Jakarta I visited this place, sometimes twice a day.
I loved this place.
I am planning to return for a few weeks later this year and now learn my go-to place is gone. So sad.
Of course I also frequented CJ's, BATS & Blok M at night, so let's hope they remain.
I'm hoping to get some advice from the esteemed members on an upcoming trip to Jakarta.
I'm planning a golf trip with a group of about 10 guys. *One thing I'm grappling with is whether to stay in central or north Jakarta. *I've stayed in central Jakarta many times and done BATS and*CJ's as have some of the group. *I'm thinking I'd like to try Alexis, Malio and maybe some clubs and I heard there are some good ones in north Jakarta. *I'd also like to avoid the sausage fest at CJ's, and with 10 guys, we'd only be adding to it.
Do any of you guys have any thoughts on staying strictly in north Jakarta and the options. *I've read a lot of posts on Alexis and Malio and it sounds like you could make an entire night at either of those places, albeit and expensive one. *.

I also like to stay at central Jakarta around Hyatt hotel area good central locations and many Mall for shopping during the day, you can always take a taxi to the north at taxi is cheap here there are not too many 5 star hotel in the north.

Although new and clean, those rooms at Yello are tiny. Harris Hotel Harmoni is brand new and has a 60 square meter suite that is only $100 a night. I guess it depends how often you will be in the room. Considering your aggressive itinerary at various brothels, you likely won't be in the room much, so you don't have to worry much about being in a small hotel room. Personally, I like to bring girls to my room as well and find it nice to have a bigger room.
In my opinion, the quality of girls and facilities at Alexis is far superior to Emporivm pretty much every time. The last time I visited Emporivm (I rarely go there), I didn't see any girls I liked and left. But like anywhere, the staff rotates and you can find gems anyplace.
V2 has some good talent most times. It's worth checking out since you are so close.
Illegals normally has some excellent talent in the karaoke, but is expensive.
Although I love King Cross and Sumo, Since you are only in town less than a week and wanting to try a plethora of venues, I suggest you skip Kelapa Gading and stick to the places you are close to. I never understand the need to visit every place in town in one visit. Savor the experience.

Also been there done that. Somehow thought it might be a bit under the radar vs. BKK for example. I had a lot of great times prior to being there for the overthrow of Sukarto. Glad to have been there when he fell, though. Have not been back since then, though.

I went to Maribaya this week and the doorman told me it is closed for renovation. I would be surprised if it was bankrupt, since it belongs to the hotel. The doorman showed me to the alternative location, across the road where I could choose from a number of girls. I recognised none of them, but selected one just to try her out. The room was even seedier than Maribaya, with only a mattress on the floor. Service from the girl was mediocre. I'm trying to connect some of the girls I know and invite them to my hotel.

That's really the only place I go. I have looked all over the North looking for a decent hotel, probably stayed in 6 different places, but really haven't found anything I liked. The Grand Mercure Harmoni is the best located for what you are after but I found it to be a pretty weak 4 star experience with bad breakfasts. The Pullman at Central Park is better but much further away, however a quick trip to and from the airport. You could always stay at Travel Hotel which is attached to a decent club.
If you have the money I'd stay near Plaza Indonesia at the Pullman, the Grand Hyatt, or one of the several other hotels. Lots of great restaurants and other things in that area. Make your peace with the traffic by getting a good data plan and spring for a couple of Silver Bird Innova vans that will have you all riding comfortably from the better hotels to the good north Jakarta venues. The place that is a bicth to get to are clubs around Kings Cross and Sumo. But definitely worth a trip, IMO, just go late or early to avoid peak traffic.

Well I was once again back in Jakarta for my holiday and relaxation. Fortunately this time around I didn't have any issues with the Immigration, but I did carry my passport with me at all times, even if I was going to KFC / McD's. Ok so my report focuses on three different methods / operations while I was in Jakarta.
As usual I stayed most of the times at the Novotel Gajah Mada and this time I decided to try the old guy and his "ladies", he is always outside the Wendy's near the LTC Glodok mall. He quoted 500 k for ST, so I decided to try it out and as well it would save me the WOS as I am now quite well know at this hotel. So he brought two girls for me to choose from one was cheery and friendly and the other seems as though she was forced to be there, so I choose the friendly girl. All was ok at first light chit-chat etc but time to service she refused to shower. Now for me that a huge turnoff especially not knowing where she just had been. So I told her to leave, no shower no action. Lesson learned, I sent the old man a text but he never replied, so NEVER again.
Second I decided to try the services on WeChat found a few listings and pictures and connected with a small beauty to come to the hotel. Ha, learned another lesson pictures on the Websites are not as the person who may show up. This girl showed up and wouldn't remove her hand from the peep hole for me to se who was outside the door. I should have realized that something was not right but eventually I opened the door and much to my surprise she was a middle age overweight masseur. I would have settled for the massage but that stunt with the peep hole really got me furious and the fact that she didn't look as the picture on the web I told her to leave. At first she wouldn't so I called security but she changed her mind and decided to leave before security showed, gave her taxi fare but she threw it back at me. Oh well next time send the girl in the photo.
Next my adventures in Blok M I am a usual at My Bar so most of the girls and staff know me my sight. But some of the girls that I met were not of quality that I am used to finding at My Bar. Did meet some new girls who at first quoted me 1. 5 M for ST one actually quoted me 2. 5 M for ST and proceeded to tell me that is the standard rate in Blok M.
Of course I knew better when I am quoted such high prices I just can't be bothered as I know one of my usual girl (s) will show up eventually.

If you only look at the profile photo of the wechat user, that means nothing. They just post any photo at all to hook you. If I am hoping for sex or even want to ensure it won't be some scrag (it's nice to have a young cutie to look at), I normally ask them to send me a photo of the actual girl. They will send photos pretty much every time if you ask. If the photo is a glamour shot, I will likely disregard it. If it's a normal photo not photoshopped, it's usually fairly close to what the girl looks like.

Nothing stunning, but I pick the one who looks to have the biggest tits. I offer 200 k for that girl to come and give me a massage and they agree. I am tired and not really keen for any action other than massage, but figure if the girl has big tits and young, that might change that.
The girl shows up about a half hour later. It's definitely the girl from the photo. She is a shy girl wearing sloppy jeans and a red t-shirt. It's obvious that she's packing some nice tits under that shirt. She's about 5 foot 5, so fairly tall for an indo girl, and fairly slim other than the tits. I like the venues in North Jakarta. That's really the only place I go. I have looked all over the North looking for a decent hotel, probably stayed in 6 different places, but really haven't found anything I liked. The Grand Mercure Harmoni is the best located for what you are after but I found it to be a pretty weak 4 star experience with bad breakfasts. The Pullman at Central Park is better but much further away, however a quick trip to and from the airport. You could always stay at Travel Hotel which is attached to a decent club.
If you have the money I'd stay near Plaza Indonesia at the Pullman, the Grand Hyatt, or one of the several other hotels. Lots of great restaurants and other things in that area. Make your peace with the traffic by getting a good data plan and spring for a couple of Silver Bird Innova vans that will have you all riding comfortably from the better hotels to the good north Jakarta venues. The place that is a bicth to get to are clubs around Kings Cross and Sumo. But definitely worth a trip, IMO, just go late or early to avoid peak traffic.

Last week I was in Jakarta for just over a week and I visited a few places in my favorite area to the north.

There are two up North (I have been to both) and a few in Central. One of them is right across the street from Malioboro and the other is about a 5 min ride up the same street. Both are near Classic. Then if you want to go to one of the clubs in the evening like Cjs or the bars in blok m, the traffic will be a lot less traffic. Alternatively, there are a few more of these hotels in central Jakarta if you plan to spend more time in that area. Last trip I paid about $46 USD / 610 k IDR per night. The more expensive ones were about $79 USD / 1 M IDR. Enjoy.
If you are looking for a mid-range hotel, take a look at the Mercure hotels.Those are good and have been recommended on this forum more than any other hotel in North Jakarta over the years, but the Harris vertu hotel harmoni is brand friggin new as of this year. You may want to consider the Harris if I was staying in that area (north Jakarta). Another good hotel very near to Hotel Classic is the Red Top. I don't like to stay in North Jakarta because I like to take free lancers more than go to brothels. South Jakarta free lancers aren't normally too keen about heading up to North Jakarta. But if the North Jakarta brothels are what you want, then stay in North Jakarta. The good thing about the Mercure hotels relative to the Harris is that they are a straight shot down Sudirman. They are a bit more expensive than the Harris though.

Quite a few other hotels in Kemang as well of various proices. Quite a lot of bars and restuarants there to, plus a couple of good supermarkets.

It is always difficult to get antibiotics and any prescription drug in Indonesia government are very strict about generic drug and it is expensive, I always get my antibiotics in Thailand and China where generic drug are easy to get and cheap.

I have been travelling around South East Asia, going to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh and Jakarta for the past 10 days and thanks to the contributions of the members, I have been able to experience the best of each city. I will post a report for each country, but overall, I would say that Bangkok is still the best of all in terms of quality, quantity, availability and value. You can find for every type of taste from low cost to luxury. Vietnam has maybe the prettiest girls, but it is not that easy to find a full service and cost can be high. In Kuala Lumpur, a lot of massages / spa around, easy to find with girls from most of South East Asian countries available: local, Indonesia, Thai, Viet, Cambodia and Lao. Cost is around 250 RM in average for 45-60 min, but as I'm more toward the high end, I have not found a real good quality massage place so far in KL. Jakarta surprisingly has a lot to offer on the high end, with several big complex available, and Indonesian girls can be very wild on bed.
I just spent 2 superb days in Jakarta, and were most of the evenings at the Alexis hotel. It's completely in the North of Jakarta and all taxis know this hotel.
This complex has a lot to offer, with the bar / club / strip dancers on 1st floor, which opens at 10 pm til very late, 2nd floor is a restaurant, 3rd floor a karaoke, 5th floor is for massage and 7th floor is the VIP Spa where you can get full service with a choice of Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian. On one side, it has a hot swimming pool with light, medium and hot temperature, a spa room, chairs where you can relax. Locker rooms, shower, with boxers, towels and amenities are provided. It's really luxury. On the other side, you have the bar, with chairs, sofa where you can order a drink or food and relax, while selecting your lady. Every time I went there, there were at least 50 girls to choose from, grouped in each corner by nationality, with the Indonesian girls being by far the most numerous, followed by the Vietnamese, then Thai, Russian and Chinese (only 2 when I was there).
Entrance fee is 150 k Rupiah, which you only pay at the end, but this is only if you decide not to spend anything while inside. Otherwise, it is part of the total.
Prices for the girls have increased significantly: Indonesian girls are now at 1. 45 Mil Rupiah and all other import girls are at 2. 45 Mil Rupiah. But most of the girls were pretty to very pretty with nice body. All girls I had did not have silicon boobs, but maybe I was lucky. So you really pay for the quality!
The price includes the Spa / swimming pool, where the girl spends 30 min with you in the hot swimming pool, taking good care of you, giving you massage and rubbing her body against you. Then 60 minutes in the room, where you get full service. Rooms are big, nice, very clean with TV, music. There is also a tip for the girl of around 300 k to 500 k expected at the end of the session, depending on the service level.
After the end of the session, you can go an enjoy the swimming pool as much as you want, or just go to the bar and order a drink while watching the girls.
I tried the Indonesians and Chinese, and I would say that each time, I was very satisfied with the level of service. Girls treats you like a real boyfriend, and they have all been well trained in taking good care of you from the beginning, until you unload. I did not do the Thai, as I was in Bangkok several days ago, and the Russian did not look happy, so I decided not to go for it.

Keep in mind, you can also get LT for 500 and up. Depends on you, and your negotiating skills. 1 to 2 years ago I took a girl from Dees to my hotel for LT for 350 k IDR. The next day, being a nice guy, I gave her a little more to get home. After all, it was only 350 k for all night. Two days later she was texting me asking to meet again. So my max at Dees would be 7-800 k. Depends on the girl, the chemistry, and how much I like her.
This is just my opinion, if I had to put a number on it. I would say ST for a lady at Dees place would only be about 500 k. LT would be 700 k or 800 k.

At that time the price in regional mining areas was 100 k for professional girls direct from the brothels. Weekend rates where for a little more, say 120 k, where you collected the girl after work on Friday and dropped her off before work on Monday morning. But you had to feed her. They would tolerate being short changed but all hell would break loose if food was not included!
LT dominated the market but there was an enterprising lass that specialized in taking on all comers for ST in the pickup tray in the car park. I was told it was a package deal of 5 guys for 100 k.

Some of the clubs have closed and new ones have opened. So you have to check first. I haven't been there in about a year, so I can't tell you for certain. The clubs I have on my notes are Colosseum 1001, Immigrant, V2, Emperica. All will cost some money. Again, call ahead or look online for recent reviews. If you find any interesting places send up a report. Have fun.

Day 1: Jet lagged after a 20+ hour flight from the USA I skim this forum and Jakarta100 bars to find a massage with extras. I'm staying near the Pondok Indah Mall in South Jakarta. From JK1000 I find Anggrek Spa which is very close.

You were unlucky to get stopped at all so don't expect it to happen repeatedly or in return trips.
I think you will find that even if you do keep your passport with you at all times, the police are still likely to ask for money to "help you". The one time I got pulled over by the cops when I did actually have my passport, they still wanted money. They claimed I needed to have gone to the police station and filed a police report upon arrival in the country and asked why the police report was not in my passport. That being said, I've never given as much as 500 k at any time. I've probably been pulled over 20 times in 20 years. Half of those times, they let me off without paying anything even though I did not have a passport. The rest of the times I paid 100 k with the exception of 1 time where I had to pay 300 k. The one time I paid 300 k I was in a Silverbird taxi who had actually broken the law by driving in the busway when that was not allowed. It was not a police blockade, but the cop happened to be behind us on a motorbike. The cop originally wanted money from the taxi driver for his mistake, but once he saw me in the back seat he decided to go for more money. He refused 100 k and was a real ass about it telling me if I could afford a Silverbird, I could afford more than 100 k.

A.There is not much right around the Kempinski. But you have a straight shot up Thamrin (which changes its name to Jalan Hayam Wuruk as you proceed north) to Malioboro / Malio Club and Illigals, the former being the more popular. Depending on time of day and traffic the trip would take somewhere between 15 minutes and 45 minutes by taxi. There is not much right around the Kempinski. But you have a straight shot up Thamrin (which changes its name to Jalan Hayam Wuruk as you proceed north) to Malioboro / Malio Club and Illigals, the former being the more popular. Depending on time of day and traffic the trip would take somewhere between 15 minutes and 45 minutes by taxi. Am staying at the Kempinski, assuming they don't have any bar from where one can pick up women. Are there any bars or massage places in the adjoining mall?
My friend from Singapore have asked me to try out Illegals and Alexis. Hope they are close to the area where I am staying.
Grateful if I can get any more recommendations for places close by. Would prefer a spa / massage / fishbowl type placed as opposed to pick up bars as I don't want to risk taking any women to my hotel (colleagues staying at the same place).

Last year I had 3 free days in Bali and did great with Badoo and also Tagged.
November will be here before you know it and if you start to get a feel for the girls you can score some pretty good freebies thru both of these sites.
Obviously being on a conference you will be staying at the same hotel as your colleagues so why don't you find a cheap hotel or even 3 (just in case the girls get clingy) the other side of the area you are staying at just for your tryst? For example if your conference is at Jimbaran get a room at Seminyak.
Be careful of the Balivilla offer, I haven't used it but I have read somewhere it is a bit of a ripoff.
The nightlife area in Bali is spread out so you should be able to dodge your workmates and you should listen to where they are going and go to a different area.
Try backpage Bali for escorts if you want to be discreet.
If you take a FL make sure your Hotel has good security and collects their ID.

It is both funny and sad that those who were quick to accuse you of laziness were too lazy themselves to spend the few minutes necessary to do the same before hurling invectives at you. And posting an answer to the question what recommended places are near a particular hotel takes about the same amount of time as writing a post insulting someone for asking the question. And then when someone later attempts to RTFF, they will see actual information rather than have to wade around a bunch of gratuitous comments that contain no useful information and make it tedious to RTTF.

A.I have stayed and will be staying at Kempinski in my next visit. You can visit Bats and Cj's on one side and Malio and Alexis on the other. Not very close but taxis readily available. According to your preference Alexis and Maliboro should be good options. As you don't want to get girls into the hotel. Both are pretty expensive though. If you are looking to spend most of your night try the dance clubs at these locations before you go for the session.

A.I stayed at Grand Hyatt which is in the mall across from the Kempinski. Visited Alexis hotel which took about an hour by taxi (man, people warn you about Jakarta traffic but you have to experience it to believe it). You can call it an open air fishbowl with Viets, Indos, Thais and CISC girls. Quality ranges from 6's to the 9's. I sampled a really pretty Viet (number 159, I believe). She tried to please but the whole experience was a bit mechanical. Still, to be with such a stunner more than made up for it. I was there at about 6 on a Friday and the action was just starting up. Was also there next day at about the same time and it was well under way so I would suggest getting there much earlier on Saturday. Malio is on the way to Alexis but I didn't visit. Taxis are safe and reliable (Bluebird and associated more expensive Silverbird brands are the most reputable) and the drivers are polite to friendly though they don't speak much English, so don't be intimidated to use them. I took the highway toll route on the way back to save time even though it cost a bit more.

Entry is right next to the restaurant / bar with the same name which I mistook for the real deal and ordered a drink at the bar. The bar tender discreetly told me that what I was looking for was next door! Still, as I was sitting at the bar, a pretty girl who was hovering around the hostess desk sat next to me and smiled. I couldn't guess whether she had more than a smile on her mind so I just smiled back and went next door after the drink. I was there much before the action which starts at about midnight (at least on Saturday). As it picked up, I noticed that the same girl from the restaurant was there too. There were lots of girls looking to provide company though I didn't sample. They ranged from 5-6's to at least one 10 and a couple of guys worked on her on the dance floor throughout the time I was there trying to wear her demands down (lots of head-shaking attested to that) while plying her with drinks. It is one of the fanciest places I have visited. Took the token bracelet and headed to change, was directed to the fishbowl where a guy dutifully paraded the available selections in local, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Russians / eastern Europeans. The locals were all in the 6-7 range so skipped. Picked a really pretty looking Viet. She took me to the pool area. We sat in one of those enclosures for a bit and cosied up before heading to the heated pool (there are 3 of them, one is damn cold! She gave me a shoulder rub and then slid her body against mine for a bit. She had soft and flawless skin, which really turned me on! I was hard and ready to go at her so we headed to the room.
The room was large and well maintained. Took our showers, she dutifully gave me a thorough cleansing. Moon Rider Blok M had an anniversary party last night and it was a great time! This is the old Highway to Elle and there isn't much coverage on this bar.
7'ish dancers which were throwing back drinks and interacting with the customers in between dancing on the bar. Some management from Dee's is helping to get the place going. A lot of potential here and a fun party atmosphere.
Great spot to drink a beer and play around with the girls. I will be back.

Moon Rider Blok M had an anniversary party last night and it was a great time! This is the old Highway to Elle and there isn't much coverage on this bar.
7'ish dancers which were throwing back drinks and interacting with the customers in between dancing on the bar. Some management from Dee's is helping to get the place going. A lot of potential here and a fun party atmosphere.
Great spot to drink a beer and play around with the girls. I will be back.Last time I was there (in July) the place was like a morgue. Around 10 pm and more staff than clients. No dancers.
I guess they started thinking after they discovered turnover was nearly zero.

Although I had RTFF I was still not confident that I knew enough about the place so I winged it anyway. By the way I speak Bahasa Indonesia quite fluently.
I was aware of two levels. Level 2 and level 5. I asked security if there was a third level and they said there wasn't but I think I have read on here there are 3 levels. Need confirmation on this.
The two two levels are much the same anyway. You enter the room on either level and the mamasans come swarming at you.
I was quoted one girl Rp365 K or two girls Rp570 K. The mamasan I was working with assured me I would have great service. I know the advice on here is to only take one but I decided to take the 2 because of the price.
It was much later in the evening before I chose my two girls as I was having a great time with local punters and watching the goings on with the mamasans.
Around 11:00 PM I chose two girls that I'd been watching all evening and was feeling good about my selection. They both looked hot.
Once in the room I realized why it is recommended to only have one girl not two.
The girls were reluctant to do anything except try to get it all over really quickly. They worked as a team against me. The bitches! No suck the tits, no DATY. It was shit. If I had one girl I may have had been able to persuade her to please me.
They would only have one go each on me each but I insisted they change often so they had to reluctantly change condoms (they only had 3) as well as wiping my nipples after each one had sucked it so the other one could suck. Really poor experience.

Line-up for the karaoke is varied, you can get regular Indonesian girls, models as well as imports. Imports are the obvious Chinese and Viets, however depending on the mami / papi Kazachs / Uzbeks, Koreans and Japanese can be arranged. All girls are WELL above average in looks, model category quality is truly exceptional.
I was there with a few buddies last week and we went for the model category, they were 2 jt to accompany you for the night, a minimum tip of 500 k is expected at the end. You are able to bang them as well but for that you'd need to purchase "vouchers", all categories have differently priced vouchers and it seems to depend on the girl how many vouchers she wants to spread her legs. Model category vouchers are 1 jt per piece and the absolute minimum you should expect is 3 vouchers, however it isn't guaranteed that they will give you the opportunity to buy vouchers if they don't like you.

You might want to try CJ. When conversing with the girl, ask whether she has friends, and they will know what you mean. I tried this out last year and brought both of them back to the hotel. From what I have read the Pool @ 1001 sounds very similar to the 7th floor lounge & pool facility at the Alexis Hotel. Prices are similar too: 1,400,000 rp for Indo girls & 2,400,000 rp for imports. That gets you 30 minutes of pool time and 60 minutes boom boom time in a private room with a girl of your choice. I like the Alexis Hotel a lot. On my last trip I met some great girls there, so I am up to checking out this 1001 bordello on my next trip and while I am there do a little reconnaissance in the KTV/Club to see if it could be good for me as well. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, but I have consistently found over the years that Alexis has the kind of girls I am looking for and want. They always seem to have a large number of young, attractive Indo girls plus much smaller contingents of more mature yet still attractive Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese girls, and 5 or 6 ugly former Russian Federation girls for customers that crave white meat. All the girls sit in groups according to nationality around a medium size lounge / bar area. Drinks are available, but are never pushed. There is no pressure to buy a girl a drink. A customer gets 30 minutes fooling around time in the small pools and 60 minutes private time with a girl. Rooms are well kept and large, especially the "VIP" rooms.
On your particular complaint: I have never spent much time thinking about the form one way or another. It just didn't seem important to me. I tip only when a girl gives me good to great service. No form is going to change that or make me tip when I don't think it is deserved, so I feel no intimidation or pressure. In fact, I looked at it from a different perspective: I think the form is more a management tool to keep track of the girls' performance and customer satisfaction therefore to ensure the girls are performing well and not slacking off as girls sometimes will if not properly managed. Comparative Prices on Alexis and Malioboro/Malio Club:
You must have had a really, really good time in Alexis when you spent 3. 5 rp ($260). My usual tab is around 1,400,000 ($104) when I go Indonesian which is 90% of the time plus add in an extra $40 to $50 for drinks, tip, and the VIP room which is not a bad deal considering the level of talent and service IMHO. And like I said previously in my last post, they do not push drinks here unlike Malioboro / Malio club where I generally run up a significantly higher tab. There were, however, a couple of nights that I did go over budget at Alexis. First, anytime you take an import it is going to be more money. The Viet girls are the sexiest girls in Alexis after the Indo girls IMHO. A session with one of the Viet girls is 2,400,000 ($178) and then add in $40 to $50 for drinks, tip, and the VIP room and the tab will come to 2,962,000 rp ($220). Ouch! Thank Buddha I come to Jakarta for the home grown talent most of the time. My last Alexis Import was a Viet girl in 2016. She said she was a formally trained ballet dancer and I believe her because she showed me some amazing moves and positions. It was the complete opposite of the kind of session I get from the young Indonesian girls and similar to what is offered by experienced Chinese girls in my favorite Macau Saunas and Thai girls at The Lord in BKK. A little surprising is that I have fared better statistically at Malio Club, but that was because on my last trip I fell into lust with one of the couch girls and she was relatively inexpensive. HA HA. As a result, 80% of the time in Malio I have spent between $1,481,000 rp ($110) and 2,437,000 rp $181 including numerous drinks, but not including tips. The higher tabs arose from fooling around with the dancers before or afterwards. My records also show that I went over 2,773,000 rp ($200) in Malio Club on the night I had a session with one of their sexiest Dancers. It was totally worth it IMHO. I look forward to seeing her again.
I mention all this to point out that Jakarta is not cheap, especially if you spend time in the top places. Your tab will vary in these establishments on any particular night depending on your consumption habits, duh, and type of girl you choose. You can escape Malioboro or Malio Club relatively unscathed if you select a harem couch girl and take her straight up to a room, but I rarely do that. It is too entertaining to hang out in the bar with the dancers and start ordering Tequilas. The one annoying thing I find with Malioboro / Malio Club is that the staff is constantly asking for tips. At these prices management should forbid such bad behavior. But the girls are so hot that I just ignore the begging for tips and do my thing. After a while (numerous visits) the staff catch on and stop bothering me. On a couple of nights I gave my repeat girl some small denomination bills and let her pass out renumerations to the guys that clean the rooms and she knew how to crack the whip and keep them in their place with a sharp word. Other Floors in Hotel Alexis:
The 5th floor at Alexis has been totally remodeled and renovated and the rooms are like 5-star hotel rooms. I checked it out on one of my visits in 2017. The setup is like this: a papasan greets you as you get off the elevator and escorts you to a nicely decorated waiting room. Then he explains the pricing and offers to show you his girls. The deal is interesting: 1,700,000 rp for 90 minutes with a girl and 2 shots. So, I guess that means a BBBJ to completion and then sex ending in a 2nd orgasm. He brought in 4 girls at a time like they do in some HKG brothels. The first set of girls were 2 Indo girls and 2 Vietnamese girls. They looked friendly and willing, but not as sexy as the girls on the 7th floor so I passed. I mean why would you go to a place like this and not plan to buy drinks and have a good time? You can pay extra to have a private space off to the side or you can just be with your girl on a couch in a semiprivate space in the bar. I am not sure how much hanky panky is allowed. I assume more is allowed in a private space. At the end of your alloted time together you can either choose to say goodbye, extend the time, choose other girls to sit with you, or take your girl to a private room for boom boom. Up to you. I am sure this place is not cheap. But the girls looked really young and really hot to me so this is a place where I plan to spend more time and investigate thoroughly if you know what I mean. The whole Karaoke bar is much smaller than the Colosseum described on the forum recently. This set up reminds me more of the small, but intimate Karaoke bars in Ermita / Malate except here I think boom boom is definitely on the menu.
Lastly, there is a club on the 1st floor (ground floor) of Hotel Alexis. I have never visited this bar because on the two separate occasions that I wanted to go in, the security guys insisted that I check my Canon pocket camera before entering which I refused to do on principal. I hear this place has some very hot girls as well so it is probably worth a look.

There are so many good places in Jakarta. Don't waste your time trying to find the same girls some other guy took. Those girls in those 2 photos don't look very good anyway. I have been to Jakarta for 1 day before, I went to one club called classic hotel impressed by the cost and value. Girl said she cannot go to hotel just can stay there.
Can anyone advise is it easy to find long time in Jakarta like freelancer and girls from the hotels.

1. Does this place Illegals really have fantasy themed rooms? I haven't read about that anywhere else, and its not on their website. But if so, this would definitely be worth checking out.
2. Hotel Classic. I am getting confused about the terminology everyone is using around Hotel Classic. Is there a Hotel Classic 1 and 2, meaning different venues? Or are you referring to the floors? Does Terminal refer to the club inside Hotel Classic? Is this the same as Classic Hotel on JI Samanhudi?
3. Some great analyses of both Alexis and Malioboro. Is there a best time of day/night to go to these places? Or are there always plenty enough ladies to talk to? Feel free to comment on any differences or preferences between the two -- in case I had to choose.
4. Last, completely unrelated question. Is there a good street market where I can pick up some cheap / fake sneakers, like Converse Chuck Taylors, Adidas Superstars and Stan Smiths? I have heard of ITC mall as one place in North Jakarta. I bought 4 pars of Chuck taylors for $8 each in Kalibo PI a few years ago, and wish that I had bought more!

Moon Rider Blok M had an anniversary party last night and it was a great time! This is the old Highway to Elle and there isn't much coverage on this bar.
7'ish dancers which were throwing back drinks and interacting with the customers in between dancing on the bar. Some management from Dee's is helping to get the place going. A lot of potential here and a fun party atmosphere.
Great spot to drink a beer and play around with the girls. I will be back.I found a couple of photos of that event.

Some pubs have pool tables, some have dart boards. It just so happens that the Kota Indah bars have cages of girls. It's a bit of a sideshow. Really can't see these bars being under anyone's political radar especially as they are well-managed by Laskar Merah Putih.
The funny story I heard is that the Antik Disco is trying to claim some heritage status from the city council as it's been satisfying the local population's itches since the Batavia era.

Would recommend against Illegals. Especially for the club / karaoke, its not "police-raid proof". If you want a wilder experience than Alexis / Malio, then try Emporivm in Jalan Pecenongan.

Basically its one Hotel. There is just 3 different Halls inside the same venue. Think of a soapy in Bangkok if you've been to one. One building with a few different sets of girls.

Alexis to Chill and Relax first, definitely go around 3 pm-5 pm is the best time. Most girls would arrive by then, but not too many mongers.
Malioboro if you want to go have a few drinks first since it has a quite nice strip club downstairs. Be careful don't get too crazy on the Ladies Drinks.
1001/ The Pool, at the same building as Colloseum Club is the best IMHO. Very similar pricing with Alexis. Think of a huge German Spa / FKK but without any public actions.

Try ITC Manga Dua, its a huge complex, you might get lost, but you will find what you are looking for there, as an added bonus its not that far away from Alexis or The Pool.

Extremely dark, had to use phone torch to actually see the girls faces which were paraded for me by the mamasan. I think I paid 800000 Rp excluding tips. They do have the sauna and hot pool area there in case one wants to relax similar to Malioboro. However girls do not accompany you in the pool as in case of Alexis.

As far as I know, ALL of the brothels in Jakarta are still open. The only one in all of Jakarta that I know of closing in the last year or so was Maribaya. The places that closed recently were not brothels, they were drug infested discos.
On a different note, it seems the Delta Spa locations are slowly closing down one by one. I guess guys don't care about a good massage as much as cheap sex. Delta is basically the best real massage in town. Damn shame it's struggling.
