Smoothy, you are the ultimate Jakarta mongering encyclopedia, thanks for all the tips. For my upcoming visit in Jakarta I already have like 10 to visit places, most of them based on your recommendation or reviews. It will be a real pleasure to pay my respect on a beer or two when I arrive.
About the'Heaven. I'm thinking to visit this place for an afternoon lazy spa & sex experience, but are they working between 13:00 - 16:00. The idea is to avoid the 5 pm crowd as you suggested but based on my experience usually there are not a lot of working girls during that period. Maybe the working time frame at the spa will be different. The plan is wake up, drink coffee, breakfast, spa at the'Heaven, afternoon laziness recharging and a night with a semi pro from badoo or tinder kind of day. Final question. As much as I love the spas, I have other commitments so I don't get to those places much these days, so I am not sure of the current price. My guess would be around or just under 1 million all in.
A place like Emporivm is nicer and will likely have hotter girls too, but will be more expensive. I recommend trying both.

Decided to check out the some train track action.

I love the seediness of places like this, its real and its local rarely sees foreigners as you get treated well. A mini Kalijodo, without the organization.
Once again Jakarta surprises a session before midday, $15, and on a holy day when every other brothel in town is closed.

Your "freebie" paid for her own food and drink? That's pretty good you found a girl who cost you nothing. Sometimes I find those as well. A few times I met girls who pay my way for dinner and movies then screw my brains out. But freebies are not the norm in Jakarta. I actually prefer it to be a business transaction. It's normally cheaper both monetarily and emotionally in the long run than the "freebies".

Many thanks.The period leading upto and just after New Year is the traditional wet season. No need to be alarmist but historically there have also been some pretty major floods in Jan and Feb. These are unlikely to directly affect a foreigner staying in better areas and hotels but mobility around the city can be drastically affected and girls may not be able to get into the city.
March and early April would see lots of girls on the hunt for cash prior to going home for Ramadan in late April. This might also be a period of expensive college exams but others could comment better on this.

Kelapa Gading completely shuts down during the floods.
You can't predict the floods. I wouldn't even worry about what time of year to come to Jakarta. Just avoid Ramadan.

Was told not on offer so I didn't stay although I though I have heard more is on offer there.

Maybe they go for the most expensive. I remember, a girl ordered the most expensive dish in a restaurant we were. When the dish came she looked puzzled and after two bites she said she didn't like it. She didn't know the dish.
Another trick was, that they order more than they can handle and ask for a doggy bag after the meal. That's when I started to tell them that they can order anything they want, but they have to finish that in the restaurant.

OS spent a lovely night recently at this and Jakarta honeypot. Getting there about 7 PM, there was plenty of talent lined up on the benches. It has to be a CJs management scam. Similar to their bullshit scams of forcing you to buy a way overpriced chocolate or cookie (that nobody wants) along with the entry drink on special event nights. They had tiny cookies shaped like indonesian flags the other night for indonesian independence day. Mandatory that you buy one for 60 k and also another 180k (minimum) for entry drink in order to enter. I pay an extra 40k to get a Long Island Iced Tea rather than the 180 for a beer.
Shangri-La is much better than Mulia when it comes to not having scams like that. Since it also appears the Mulia management is involving the girls in their scams, that is sickening. I noticed a CJs manager came over and said something to one of the girls I was with just before she ordered that drink.
On a better note, I went to Blok M Friday night and I was surprised that it was not bad. D's place was pretty packed. Of course the dancers at D's are nowhere near as hot as the ones at Malio, but they wear sexier outfits at D's than at Malio these days. Even though they are not as hot as the dancers at Malio, I still enjoy watching the girls wearing those skirts that don't cover their asses at all and wearing g-strings on the dance stage. My Bar had a live band until like midnight or 1 am. Due to that live band, the place had a vibe similar to the old Top Gun. My Bar was not crowded though unfortunately. I think not many people know they now have a live band like Top Gun used to have. I think they only have the band on weekends. There were still a few pretty nice girls in there. I ended up pulling a 22 year old from My Bar. Much cheaper than going to BATS or CJs. Most times I wear a long sleeve shirt with a collar, but I have worn t-shirts there. It's places like DragonFly that don't allow t-shirts. I wouldn't wear one of those black or white "undershirt" type of t-shirts that are so popular, those might not get you in.

For my visit to Jakarta in July I based myself in Kemang. First, I checked out Eastern Promise, I guess it was too early at 11 pm, mostly regular customers. I went back to Kemang. At 1 am Eastern Promise had picked up; the live band was good, and some good-looking women were present. Typically, the best ones already had company, or seemed to be civilians in mixed groups. And that's the challenge with a place kind of a place: only a fraction of the women is available. Well, it's not that difficult to find out who is. After I short while a beautiful one kept standing next to me, so I chatted her up. She was eager to go, I suggested 500 k, she responded 1 m. I worked on Java in 2014 and spent some time in Jakarta during my tenure there.
My favorite haunts were CJ's, then BATS, and Top Gun.
Near the end of my stay, I discovered Maribaya Spa in Hotel Melawi thanks to posts by Koperen Klaas. At the time there were a fair amount of negative posts about the place but it suited me well and I always enjoyed it. Low key, small, decent looking girls, excellent service, GFE attitude, BBBJ & a fair price at 600 k. I made maybe 6 visits and loved every one.

I have a 10 hour layover on the way to Raja Ampat and have booked a room at the Bandara Orchardz hotel outside of the airport. This advice is from personal experience from 2 years ago. It should still work today.
1) Put Wechat on your phone. Open the look around for people close by. Within 10 minutes you will have 20+ girls messaging you all saying they will give massage but no ++. Maribaya was the best service in Jakarta bar none. You won't find a place that has girls who provide great BJs and sex like those girls did. I am back for a visit in November.
As customers, spending our hard-earned money, we want what we want.

I am going to try brothels like Classic, 1001 this time around and I've read enough reports to know BBBJ will be hit or miss. This may cause more problems than it solves. Eg your translation of Blow Job reads more as Breath Occupation so may not be of much assistance.

You have the right plan in terms of catching up on sleep. Most of the brothels become operational by 3 pm, but don't really get going until 5 pm or later. Places like Classic, Travel and all the Kota Indah bars are to be avoided after 9 pm, unless you are OK with a cloud of cigarette smoke over your head, Plus these places get extremely crowded with local bakso sellers and ojek drivers all lining up to get a piece of cheap pussy. The girls are also overused by then.
On the other hand places in Kelapa Gading like King Cross or Sumo and Malio and other places like 1001, Emporivm, etc are best after 8 pm. Sumo is a full blown spa (so are the other places, except King Cross) so you can get there by 6 pm, relax in the pool, get a steam / sauna and then go upstairs, get a drink and check out the sexy shows, eyeball the talent and select a girl of your liking. In all these places the mami or papi will understand basic English and you can tell them exactly what you want. They have heard and seen it all before. These places are not as crowded mainly because of the price, and the fact that they charge you an entry fee, that keeps the riff raff out.

So I arrived in Jakarta last night, by the time I arrived at the hotel it was around 10:30 pm and I was too tired to contemplate any activities. Wandered up to the top floor lounge and had a seriously overpriced beer at 120 k, won't be going in there again.
Today I made my way to Classic Hotel at 1 pm, sat down at the ground floor cafe and had a strong black coffee. RTFF and saw that the action at the 2nd floor does not start until 3 pm so I just caught up on some emails in between gathering intel already posted here. So the cafe level is the ground floor, up one floor is 1st, up another is 2nd, I initially only went up one floor and wondered why I couldn't find anything of interest. Arrive at the entrance and I'm prompted that there is a 20 or 30 k minimum spend (can't remember how much exactly) to which I agree, I'm given a numbered elasticated wrist band and shown inside the show area.
The place is surprisingly big and as expected a mamasam invites me to sit down and immediately calls upon her 3 girls dressed in red. All were very doable and I tell mama that I'm going to have a drink first and relax, she sends her girls away but immediately brings one of the girls back. The girl was nice and could speak decent English so we chatted while I sipped my drink. The girl suggests that I take another girl for a 3 sum to which I decline but she tries to sell it by telling me the following -.

None are stunners so I have a drink and wait to see if better options appear. Nothing does and after making so much effort to get here, there is no way I'm backing out.
I kid myself that the girl in blue is a diamond in the rough, prepay 380 k inc my drink and upstairs we go. The massage is actually pretty good on my old frame, progressing from a regular rub down to a two sided body rub. Then it was a CBJ and CFS. I got the job done, she was pleasant and chatty (in Indonesian) during the massage but it wasn't an earth shattering session. The rest is their spending money and food money, which is usually negative one million per month. So you can see where this is going. They get the negative one million covered by borrowing more from the boss each month.
The boss watches over the girls by means that they don't get days off and even if they get a day off, they're called in surprise to work. During their off time, they come and go as they please but they're not supposed to see guys on the side because it takes the boss out of the loop of income. They still do if they're brave enough to.
I've found a stunner before and she kept saying no she couldn't meet. But sure enough when you offer to give a new cell phone (about 3 to 4 million IDR) they're immediately available. I ended up buying her out of her indentured servitude and sent her home back to her family.

Even when those girls give you their number (they will all give you their number), the chances of them actually meeting outside working at a place like Classic are slim. The exception are the dancers, they will meet up. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's rare for a girl who works there as an indentured prostitute to meet up. They are controlled and would be taking a risk. Personally, I don't see the need anyway. Those girls are rarely as fun to hang out with as the actual free lancers one can find around town.
Getting the girl's number was no achievement. But if she actually does meet outside hotel Classic, I would love to read a detailed report on how that went. My experiences with girls like that have always been interesting to say the least (in a bad way). The fact that I don't even try it anymore speaks volumes. Not dropdead cute, but certainly slutty beautiful. I asked her if she had a boyfriend. She replied no, and she didn't want one. She's focused on work to get herself out of that place. I have been a frequent guest of this hotel and SkyLounge before and despite its various metamorphosis's the SkyLounge has always been a rip-off. I remember on one occasion I inadvertently paid about US $20 for a soda water! Unfortunately I didn't pick this up until I reviewed the hotels invoice once I got home. The hotel is great, the Sky Lounge not so great.
It would be interesting to hear how you went at the mens spa as I've never had the opportunity to indulge myself. Given the prices at the Sky Lounge I can only guess in horror what the prices at the spa would be. Look forward to hearing about your experience there.

The only place I would consider for visit north of Monas, these days, to be honest. My last visit was in 2013. By the look of it, prices haven't changed much, since. 380 k. 30 k for the drink. I remember both Berlian and Kartika are open early, like 11 am in the morning. And if you would visit midweek, you'd be spoiled for choice, many girls available.
I don't think they are listed on Google, (you can see their sign if you look up Berlian and then hit Streetview), but look for the famous Suisse Bakery on Hayam Wuruk, is easiest.
Visited Malio Hotel tonight and was very impressed.
Went upstairs to the quiet bar, saw a few nice cuties while drinking a coffee. Went across to the restaurant / lounge and it was pretty packed with an assortment of locals and imports. I would consider bouncing around the FL hangouts and if you click with somebody maybe invite her along for some of your trips out of Jakarta. Although that can become expensive for a couple of months. You certainly don't want to be spending 2 months in Jakarta, unless you are working there. You'll cover what tourist "attractions" there is very quickly, if that is what you are in to.
You could start some pre-work by using Tinder. Buy Gold membership for a month and start chatting to girls. They will quickly want to swap to Whatsapp, but to me that sounds not a problem for you as you can always get a pay as you go SIM card in Vietnam if you don't want to give out your phone number. Don't be shy, put in your profile that you're coming in for a month or two, looking for somebody to accompany you on some trips in and around Indonesia, and you will get all sorts of offers. Have a look at my previous post on here about Tinder. Yes, there are a bunch of FL on there, but they are pretty obvious. However, there are also girls just looking for some fun. For two months in and around Jakarta. This will get you around incognito and provide immense value to your stay. Cruising around town, checking street hookers in Tanah Abang, Jaksa or Senen. Massage in GrandWijaya or Pedurenan, online dates in the shopping malls, too easy.
