Note that there are many areas in Indonesia where unmarried couples really cannot check into hotels, both legally and practically. It's regularly enforced by hoteliers and has even tripped up couples who didn't carry evidence of being married. However, I wouldn't panic This doesn't apply to the regular monger or foreign tourist areas.

A few months ago I enquired if anyone had used any of the online platforms to buy Cialis in Jakarta. I didn't really get much feedback at the time and I guess people either hadn't used this service or didn't want to say So on a recently completed trip to Jakarta I tried it out and provide some notes for others that might be interested.

I used the Shopee platform. Shopee did take some time to setup an account but nothing terribly complicated if you are remotely tech familiar. The biggest issue was you needed a local Indonesian cell / mobile phone number to complete the set up. It wouldn't text the code to an international number. This wasn't too big a deal and after doing some research I zipped over to the nearest Telkomsel shop, registered my phone IMEI and got a tourist prepay SIM (available for those staying less than 3 months). This included a number and a data pack for around IDR50 k (I only got a small amount of data about 500 Mb I think as I didn't need more. You can get more Gb for more IDR of course). Took around 30 mins including the wait time, which is pretty good for Indonesia. So Shopee was all set up.

Then search on Shopee for Cialis Original. Lots of suppliers. No way to tell who is good or not. So randomly selected one. Ordered two bottles of 10 pills of 80 MG. Each bottle was IDR120 k. Total plus delivery charge was IDR275 k. I believe in the end the source was a local apotek K24.

I was staying at a hotel. Used the hotel address for delivery. Did need to include my name and room number. Then left an envelope at the front desk with money and order number after briefing the front desk staff that I was expecting a Shopee delivery. The hotel staff were pretty familiar with the whole idea / procedure so I guess it's pretty common. Obviously didn't mention exactly what was being delivered. Haha. Two day delivery time or essentially overnight if you consider order placed in morning and delivery next day sometime. Went to work in the morning, came back in the evening to package delivered with even a small amount of change (the IDR275 k total was rounded up). The two bottles were well and discretely packaged. Couldn't tell from the outside what was being delivered until opened.

So the whole process of ordering and receipt was pretty easy, convenient, seamless and cheap.

However I do have my doubts about the quality. The Cialis did work to a degree, but the effect didn't seem as strong as usual. Normally I take one 80 MG and I'm good for 3 or 4 sessions in the evening but with this batch didn't achieve that target. Also usually I get some mild side effects like a headache and other mild muscle aches which I deal with by taking it with two Panadol. These didn't seem to present, which leads me to suspect that it wasn't the full real deal or was under the advised strength. Either that or I am just older and not working as well. Haha.

Smoking- if you can tolerate it, you'll be OK. If you can't, don't go to Indonesia full stop. It must be the least 'smokefree' country in the world. Even the hotel lobby smelt vaguely like smoke. Or maybe that was my clothes after being in classic.Excellent post!!

There ain't nothing better than leaving your room, going down an elevator, walking across reception, riding up an escalator, and heading into floor 3/5 under the same roof during a storm. Upon entry, the only lit areas are the restrooms, girlie sofas, billiard tables, and main stage. The mamasans are so pushy that nobody will enjoy their dim lit table or walk the pussy perimeter peacefully. Alcoholic beverages are highly taxed for conservative reasons. And classic girls seem to really follow the "covered" rule. I did get one to surrender for BBFS but that's a long pricey story. On the other hand, I recommend Kota Indah and wherever the train track scene moved only for the adventure seekers. OS took a trip to Royal Gedong last week, a lokalisasi that has sprung up along the railway tracks near Penjaringan after the demise of Kalijodo. I took one for the teams and went to Fortune Spa this weekend. Its a very central location. Its basic across the busy streets from LE Meridian hotel. Close to all corporate buildlings. The outside it looks very run down / sketchy. But when you get inside the place, its quite modern. You are greeted by the front desk and some beautiful thin hostess girls. They have different price ranges. From what I garners, the price range from 850 K for massage (plus you tip girl). And 1. 6 M-2. 5 M for everything included. My only concern is with the independent providers as they could scam the tourist, so will need to be careful. Your post caused me to look up whatever happened to Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, also known as Ahok, a Jokowi acolyte. A Chinese Christian, he was an efficient governor and deputy governor of Jakarta. He did however appoint Ahok as President Commissioner of Pertamina, the national oil company, upon his release. I think this is one of the hidden gem. My local buddy brought me there last night as he mentioned it was popular with his circle of friends. It is also a money making machines for Indonesian Imams as they could get extra incomes by authorising those short term marriages.

Also just be aware of, it is not uncommon that a group of religious extremists (or sort of) led by clerics will go from hotel to hotel to check people who allegedly are unmarried couple. You hardly ever see his practice happen in other countries. So those who said this new law will not effect you be aware.

People might not be too worry if the law was issued in the countries where they have not got a lot of religious extremists which in the past had proven what they were capable of. There are a lot of boarding schools in Indonesia with the students come from the most deprived, poor family. Also these boarding school are mostly for the students who are not smart enough to compete in the most prestigious state funded schools.
These group of people could easily be mobilised by politicians with a very small amount of money. In many occasions providing them with lunches and a small pocket money will be enough to motivate them.

Out of all the places to play, this is the best one due to the room facilities and service. The price comes out to be even comparing to komplek but rooms are so much better then komplek and exponentially better versus the train tracks. Train tracks are cheaper but it's also a half-hour.

Yes BBFS can be had there but almost anywhere can that be had. Classic also has it as well for a nominal tip of 200 k maybe even 100 k if your good at negotiating. I did three train track runs and the appeal has waned. Yes girls are young but what good is it if your in a cramped room (I'm 6 ft and I can't stretch my legs out when she's bouncing off my junk they have to be bent) with no modern bathroom facilities (literally just a hose and a hole in the floor if the room even has it).

In comparison, classic had a full queen size with clean new sheets. Working air conditioner, full size bathroom and the room was modern and spotless. When breaking down by half hour, classic actually comes out cheaper. Also the girl I had from classic Joined me in the shower which is a plus for me.

But I had a one night stop over in Jakarta before returning home so checked it out for the first time since 2019. I went on a Thursday at about 5 pm and a pretty decent selection was there, a fairly quick scan of the room showed at least 5 that I was highly interested in.

You really do have to not take any of the shit from the mamasans, I think being western they try to palm their lowest quality stock off on you first, even though I had clearly told her in Bahasa Indonesia what my preferences are. From the photo posted by steelbaton, seems the location is in Penjaringan, north Jakarta, perhaps somewhere along Jalan Bandengan Utara III. I've never been there, but perhaps a member as intrepid as Mr. Stinkyfeet can find it and report. The only reason I decided to try the train tracks is because I experienced dump places in south China twenty years ago (now defunct thanks to the chairman). You have to have pretty high stamina and exceedingly low standards to be able to cop one out. Unless I found the wrong Classic Hotel, but Google is telling be it's quite affordable.Each night in classic hotel cost around 400 k via Agoda. They also don't have weekly discount for long term stayed.

I booked one with weekly discount near komplex (Primahotel ITC) for 250 k / night.

So an equivalent hotel, 5 min walk to komplex, 30% cheaper.

The driver will set up some off road adventure for you, depending on how much you pay, it's about an hour tour and it's fun enough. You pay for all of the entry tickets out of pocket this way, and even in the end when you add everything all up, you're still saving quite a bit of money (I did with a party of 2, not sure you'll save that much party of 1).

You buy lunch, he gets it for free. Don't forget the driver tip at Mt. Merapi offroading and your silver / golden bird at the end of the day.

Since covid it is forbidden to climb the temple. Visitors are only allowed at the base. Now there is a plan to charge extra $100 to climb to the top of the monument. Not sure when that will happen. It is just $25 to enter which before covid people can go wherever they want. News is many areas are cordoned off for renovations. Sunrise tours are not there. If they are there they take you to a nearest high point to watch which really does not captivate the moment. Many visitors commented that tours are worthless. Even like you said Mt. Merapi is seen from faraway. There are volcanoes near Jakarta where they take you to the edge and brave workers haul sulphur blocks up the slope. In Costa Rica nice volcanoes. Japan Mt. Fuji trek is magnifisant although extremely cold.

As for the hotel I heard Marriott has been upgrading the hotel. Taxis or Uber to the town must be fairly cheap. For me a good breakfast and dinner should be good enough with some snacks in between. I would definitely talk to the desk clerk to arrange transportation. Also get massage. On the way back I am going to Philippines and have arranged girls in Manila and cebu. So if I do not find the right girl will enjoy solo trip to Yogyakarta. Will definitely have some fun in Jakarta.
